Vanessa is from the USA and has been living with Type 1 Diabetes since the age of 23. She is a mother (second child on the way), a Product Lead at Google, she has a background in Psychology and Broadcast Communications, and she is the author/creator of “Teddy Talks: A Paws-itive Story about Type 1 Diabetes” - a children’s book which has already received a Mom’s Choice Gold Award.

Vanessa is a fantastic example of how you can continue to thrive and live a healthy, happy life with Type 1 Diabetes - while still finding the time to create an amazing children’s book.
