On today’s episode Eoin speaks with Ciara Cray (@balanceandbolus).

Ciara is a Type 1 Diabetic from California, USA and she was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 7. Although Eoin and Ciara were diagnosed at completely different times in their lives, they have experienced and continue to experience the similar daily intricacies of a life with T1D.

Ciara (@balanceandbolus) is one of Eoin’s favourite Diabetic social media pages to follow as she ‘epitomises a healthy, balanced life with Type 1 Diabetes’. Throughout this episode, Ciara offers her advice and insight into living a healthy, happy life with the condition. She’s an incredibly reassuring example to anyone living with, or any parent of a child living with Type 1 Diabetes.

Ciara is currently studying Nutrition in pursuit of becoming a Certified Diabetes Educator. She runs her own Type 1 Diabetes blog (balanceandbolus.com) and social media page (@balanceandbolus) where she shares all her experience, expertise, advice and guidance to ensure you too, can get the most out of a life with T1D.
