Welcome to the Professional Podcast Network, where brilliance meets business, elevate your brand, and supercharge your revenue with inspiring insights and innovation. Hey there everyone and welcome back to the show. This is your host. Okay, great. Yeah, this is your host Phil and our next guest here today is Don Elijah Eckhart, who's an author based out of Columbus, Ohio. How you doing today Don? I'm Don't Fine. How are you? I'm doing wonderful. Thanks for asking. Good. Yes. So Don, tell us a little bit more here about yourself and what have you written? Well, I received a master's degree from the Warden School of the University of Pennsylvania. That was in 1974. Then I had a career in government, in objective analysis, financial analysis. That prepared me interestingly enough for a seminary work which I took at Eishton Theological Seminary in 2006. I felt called to go there to find out more about the biblical view of a vision and dream that I had. So I studied for 12 years for publishing the book and then studied the total of 16 years, no, 14 years for obtaining a PhD doctorate from that same seminary. Okay. And then from there you started writing after that? Well, I had already been writing. It became part of my project or my doctorate. I wrote a book, Jesus The Everlasting Hope of Humankind. That was my book that's been published. I have done two magazine articles. They were both published in the National Digest. One was a second look at redemption that was last year. And then one this year had to do with a sea change in historical theology of salvation. Okay. And what would you attribute your success to with this writing you've done? Well, I had never thought about these subjects until I received a revelation. You could call it a dream in 1999. Then I started working on it in earnest in 2006. You might wonder why the lag time. Well, I wasn't clear on what it meant, and so I wanted to find out. Also, I didn't know what to do with it. I didn't know what to do. So I took Hebrew and Greek at a local church here, and then the Greek instructor told me I needed to go to seminary to find out more about what the subject was. The seminary then prepared me very well for writing the book and for understanding what the dream and revelation was about. Okay. And when you first started up everything here and pursued this degree and started writing, like what inspired you to go down this whole path? Well, as I said, I did receive this dream in the middle of the night. I got up. I wrote down the words to a familiar song, but there were new words that came with it. So I knew it meant something because this was brand new to me, this concept. So I studied more about it, and then eventually wrote the book. In the meantime, I had gone to seminary and wrote various papers on the topics important to the book. As I say though, I was never exposed to this line of thinking until the dream came in 1999. Gotcha. All right. Well, Don, if our listeners and anyone else here wants to talk to you more, reach out to you and find out about what you've written. How do we contact you? Yeah. You could call or text me at 614-256-1471. All right. Well, Don, thank you for joining us on the show today. Okay. You're welcome. Thank you. Have a good day. All right. You too. Bye. Bye. To the rest of our listeners, stay right there. Check out for the short break. (upbeat music)
