Hello everyone and welcome back to the show. My name is Matt and today I'm talking with Robin Lewis from New York and she's the owner of RL Hair Studio. How are you doing today Robin? I'm doing well Matt, how are you? I'm doing good. So why don't you tell me a little bit more about yourself and what it is you do? Okay, my name is Robin Lewis. I'm a licensed card pathologist and I also, I focus on hair loss and weeks and customized weeks. Hair restoration, helping women and men regrow their hair. I've been in business since 2005, November the second of this year we will be 19 years in business and I love what I do. I also do coaching and also do ranking, helping on energy healing with healing someone. We don't have to be in the same space but we could be anywhere and I can hear you from a distance. So what inspired you to pursue this profession? Well as a young child we did each other's hair and I was doing hair from like I said from 12 and up and I also used to do my mom's friends and my friends here and I became a high school dropout at 18 and I also got pregnant so I started having children at an early age and I know that I have to do something. And so I incorporated what I've been doing from offset, braiding and doing hair. In my community people were familiar with me doing hair so I used to do my friends here and I wanted to set a better impact for my children. You know going through getting public assistance, it wasn't enough and I was a single mom as I mentioned if I didn't imagine it before. Tell me a little bit more about the services you provide. Okay the services I provide, I provide hair restoration where we do a scalp analysis where you get to see the scalp in a very in a close view versus where the eyes cannot see it. And I also would do customizations with wigs if someone wanted a customized wig that fit them comfortably versus you know sometimes a woman can buy a wig and this is not completely fit in them properly so I would go in and do more detail, color in and cut into their life ends. I do raking like I mentioned before with the energy healing, someone could you know energy could be messed up and they want to feel free again and have energy to go forward on day day, go afterwards with the dreams and goals that they want you know to be aspiring for themselves. I do life coaching as well where women like someone who want to start a business and they may not know where to go and how to get started and I will guide them through that process.
