Hello everyone, and welcome back to the show. My name is Matt, and right now I'm talking with Diliana Nicolova, who is the owner of Beauty Today in New York, New York. How are you doing today? Hi, I'm good. How are you? I'm doing well, so why don't you tell me a little bit more about yourself and what it is you do? I am an enemy grant in this country, like 25 years ago we came with my family and started making life here. Long story short, I was into hair back in my country, and I started doing hair as a hair dressman, went to beauty school and all, and I randomly found a job when I was looking for a job at a hair replacement studio. And that's when I started my career in hair replacement business, because it turned out that was my thing, because I'm a very detailed person and I do very detailed work, and that turned out to be excellent for this kind of work, because people love what I do and they're very happy with the results, and nobody can tell that they're wearing hair. So how long have you been doing this for? The hair replacement itself for the past 21 years. Hair dresser, I am for the past 30 years, so yeah, that's about it. So what inspired you to pursue this as a career? Actually, when I went for that interview that I mentioned earlier, and the people over there showed me a person wearing a system, I was like in all how it looked, the hairline, how it naturally looked. It's like I didn't know this guy wasn't wearing, wasn't having his own hair, and I really was thrilled to be able to learn this new skill, and that's how I worked, and making people happy every day, it's like how can I say it's the open it's old, you know, it's like good adrenaline all the time. No, that's great to hear. So what are some of the services you provide with your business? I mainly provide cut-ins and new systems, the, you know, the hair replacement, the old word is to pay, but nowadays they're such a much finer material and much better look, so we call them hair systems, just so to be clear why I'm calling them like that, and I am installing the new pieces on people's heads, I'm doing services like replacing the glue, taking off the system, when the time has come, you know, to replace the glue, clean up the scalp, give a haircut, clean the system, refresh the color if needed, and then reattach, and this is my everyday life, it's just like, like a normal hairdresser, I do color, cut, palm, everything.
