An absolutely fabulous Sonoma Sauvignon Blanc
And welcome back to Adventures of the Black Belt, Solier. Have you noticed that everywhere that line is made seems to be a really beautiful place in the world? That's the gnome behind me through his beautiful. In my opinion, the three great Soviet monks made in California are Rochaeli, Bauchwood, and Mary Edwards, at least in my experience, but they're the three finest wines, Silvino Walts. So I was excited to open a half bottle last night of 2021, Mary Edwards, Silvino Walts, and my excitement was just, but it is just absolutely off the charts, Fabulous Wine. I don't know that it's really possible for California, Silvino Walts to be a whole lot better than it's wine. It is so, it's full-bodied, it's dry, it's so intensely fruiting that it almost seems like it's not dry, but it's dry. It's just got this incredible profound melody character of Honeydew and Cana Lopin. It's this intense melon character along with really ripe pears, ripe apples, this really soft texture in the mouth, full-bodied, rich, layered layers of layers, layers of flavor. It smells so beautiful, it smells like all those fruits that I mentioned, those melons and apples and pears, it's floral, it's just feels so, it feels and tastes so wonderful in your mouth. And then it's got this ball on the finish. It's absolutely a glorious wine, a glorious wine, and a half bottle that's a little bit more mature than in a full bottle. It's not a wine that's going to improve a lot with time in the bottle, but you don't have to be in a hurry to drink it, especially if it's a full bottle instead of a half bottle. It's going to be really ripe for another three to four years, it's really, really great. It was really, really great last night, it was just, gosh, wow, congratulations to that winery for making this fabulous, fabulous wine, it is really something special. You can find it, you know, but for about $35 bottle, you don't know that you're going to find a better $35 bottle of white wine. It almost doesn't really taste like sodium water, it's so full-bodied, it's so rich. If you want a sodium water that is the absolute antithesis of New Zealand sodium water, this is it, it's hard even, it's kind of hard to imagine that they're the same grape, that it's so different from New Zealand sodium water, it is so full-bodied, it is so rich, it is so layered, it is so textured, it's just beautiful, beautiful, lovely, delicious, fabulous wine, I'd love for it, 2021 Mary Edwards, so, so thank you all, fabulous, thanks Thanks for tuning into a professional light, not so many of you.
