So you guys know that guy Josh Tider, he was on Bachelor at Season 11, eliminated in the first week, ended up faking his death, coming out his bi saying he was gonna marry a man, didn't end up marrying that man, then recently came out as a trans woman, started doing this whole shtick on Instagram, and we asked ourselves for literally one second, could this guy be the next Dylan Mulvaney, and it was quickly confirmed through watching his content that this guy was trolling, but he kept up with the troll for months and months and months, saying that he was a trans woman, well it turns out he's finally announced that he was indeed faking it. Was this an intricate social experiment that leads us to a profound bit of social commentary? Absolutely not, but let's talk about that. Alright guys, before we get into today's video, please like and subscribe, yes we are gensaki circling back, on an old story we covered long ago on this channel, revolving around Josh Tider, I'll show you a video so that we can refresh our memories, this is some of the content that Josh Tider has been posting on Instagram recently, in his journey of being a trans woman. Hey guys, one of the things I am most appreciative of is the amount of freedom I have now through makeup and clothes to just express myself. When I was a man there really wasn't that much that I could do, and I feel like now with the makeup and the outfits, there's just so many more ways I can express myself and the makeup I can do, and I just really enjoy it. So if you have any makeup or fashion and style tips, please send them my way, and I'll do the same for you. Bye guys. Are you falling for it? Am I falling for it? I think the answer is no. And I'll go ahead and read some comments, it's clear that most people feel the same way about this. There's something way wrong with him. I'm convinced this is next level trolling. So if you are no longer a man, start shaving your face, the makeup and beard is not matching at all, doesn't make sense. Transphobia knows no bounds, this is so sad. He posted other videos like this, "Sorry, I look like a hot mess today. I just wanted to vent a little bit, I feel like dates can be so cheap. The last couple of dates that I've gone on, I've expected the guy to pay because I feel like the man should pay for the first date, and they just don't want to. And so I just had a date earlier this afternoon, and I sat there when the bill came, and finally I just said the guy should pay first and kind of pushed it towards him and he said, "Well in that case you should pay." And I just thought that is so rude, and I just don't understand what the issue is. I feel like everyone's trying to get something for free these days. I don't understand, I just want to go on a date and have the man be a gentleman. And of course there are more comments on this one. As an actual trans woman, stop mocking my identity, you are the reason people like me get unalived, this is not the trans experience, so on and so forth. As a gay man, I can 100,000% say that this is a due to an address. Is this satire? And don't get me wrong, I think it's sort of interesting to lean into the absurd and put a mirror up to society, although I do have my own ethical questions about whether or not it's the proper way to move forward in addressing these social issues. But I think there's groups of people who do it well, or at least achieve results, and there's groups of people who don't. In the political space, and specifically in the conservative one, I'm reminded of a Matt Walsh who will do a movie like Am I Racist, pretending to be a leftist to yield results, or James O'Keefe who sends people out on fake dates with media executives to sort of find out what's happening behind the scenes. While I may have questions about the means of gathering this information, you cannot doubt the results, they're there for you to see. And in the case of Josh Sider, there really are no results. I think people both on the left and right called bullsh*t on this pretty quickly. And when nobody believes the bit that you're putting on, it kind of cancels out the purpose of the experiment, does it not? And we saw Josh get called out for this while he was playing the persona, by a troll himself, Alex Stein. Listen, let's just cut the K-Fave. You know, do you know who I am? I'm Primetime99, Pimp on a Blimp. I wear the tuck-friendly bathing suit. I've done it all. I've done this gimmick a million times over. I know what it's like to put on the dress to try to be funny. And for me, I'm just being honest with you, Josh. It's caused me a lot of backlash. As a matter of fact, you get a lot of hate for doing it, not necessarily from the left-leaning people that you're making fun of, but you'll never be accepted by the right side either because they're always going to consider you a freak. I'm just telling you this as a friend. I know this is a bit. I know it's a gimmick, and I know you're trolling, and I love it because I do the same thing. But how long do you think you can do this for, dude? I mean, let's just be real. I mean, I know this as a comedian. You know this as a person that I've been on reality TV. You've been on reality TV. And I am a fan of yours, Josh, and I have the most, most respect for you, and I'm not just saying that. How long are you going to do this bit for? I mean, it can only last so long. You can only put on the tok-friendly bathing suit. So long. Well, it's not a bit for me. It may have been a bit for you, but for me, it's how I feel. Josh, you're lying. You know what did your parents say about this? Has your mom or dad know about this? Are you close with them? I'm close with some family members, yeah. And I'm sure that they do not like this because they know that Josh is a bodybuilding guy that likes to slam babes. That's why he's on the bachelorette. And they know this is all a gimmick and you have a million Instagram followers and now you're going super viral and I know what that's like. And what people don't understand is when you have the mindset that you and I have, we don't care. I don't care. People can make fun of you. That's not me like kind of confronting you right now. It's not going to hurt your feelings. But your family, they could be embarrassed by this. Do you not feel any sort of guilt to them? Not for you because actually you're like me, we don't have a lot of shame. But your loved ones, they know it's a bit. I mean, why are you going to do this to them for so long, Josh? Yeah, I'm just living my authentic truth and I can do this bit. I can do this dance with you. We can joke around and all you know, I'll be nice and I'll say all the transgender but you know it's a work. This is a gimmick. This is like professional wrestling. Sorry. I'm not trying to yell at a beautiful lady like you, but it's sort of a takes one to no one moment that we just witnessed right there and you know, I get it. In this world of constant personas and social media where people are one way in real life and they play a different person online and we're constantly having these superficial touch points with all these different people. It is interesting to play into characters or to do crazy things and to know that a life exists on the other end of that and you can gain all of this attention and eyeballs and validation and likes and comments and maybe Josh feeds himself with those things. But it's interesting that in his sort of commentary that I guess he's trying to pull off on the trans identity, I think we're witnessing an identity crisis that solely rests within him. And we'll get to that in just a moment. But first I want to play his reveal where he takes off the mask and says this was a bit. The thought of themselves being women and I think a lot of trans women are turned on at the thought of themselves being women. Guess what? It doesn't magically make them women. It doesn't mean we have to accept that they're women. They are simply men turned on at the thought of themselves being women. That's great. We live in a free country. You can do whatever you want, but don't make your fetish my truth. I don't have to accept it. To go to the second part of your question, how did I come up with this? I was talking with some friends and we said this is patently false. Men do not magically become women. I said let's look at the medical literature and what it says. It says that trans people don't have to transition, don't have to have gender dysphoria, don't have to get surgery, and don't have to get hormones. If they feel they are a different gender than their bio sex, then they are trans and they are valid. And I said understandably this is ridiculous. Then I can present exactly how I am and I can be trans and valid if I say that's my gender identity. And so I said let me prove how ridiculous this is using raducio ad absurdum by being trans for five, six months and hopefully people will understand then how ridiculous this is. So yeah, it was a mastermind plan. He's Dr. Evil in disguise and he pulled it off for all of the world to see. And I do want to engage with Josh's thought process when it comes to this experiment and ask myself the question, what would this look like if it was actually successful? Of course I'm reminded of Dylan Mulvaney, somebody who had a meteoric rise on the other end of coming out as a trans woman and documenting these days of girlhood and the trans experience. It came with brand deals and TikTok followers, concerts, nonprofits reaching out, charity work, shows, everything that you could have ever asked for, Dylan Mulvaney was handed on a silver platter just for coming out as a woman. Now if Josh had been received in that way and we witnessed that same response and on the other end of it, he sort of pointed a finger at the camera and said, "Ha, I was playing with you and look at all these accolades that I was just handed for, self-identifying as a trans woman." That would be something interesting, but it's not what happened because the acting was off, the self-awareness is lacking and I don't think he was ready to go forward with this idea. And of course in looking at him specifically, he has a past that is littered with PR stunts appearing on the Bachelorette and being eliminated in the first week, faking his own death, which is a huge one, coming out as a different sexuality, saying you're going to marry a man, not marrying that man, and then coming out as a trans woman in this new fake PR stunt. And I have to say, that sounds like an identity crisis in itself. If you don't feel as though you have enough value as a person to lead a normal life and you have to constantly be putting on stunts and faking your death and coming out as to this that in the third, you probably have struggles within yourself that you need to deal with instead of making commentary on trans people who are also going through their own struggle. It is quite literally the pot calling the kettle black. It's like somebody with a 20 IQ, calling somebody else mentally retarded. So yeah, here we are, the big reveal, it was fake all along and this was a huge experiment although a completely unaccomplished experiment. But if we really think about it, Josh Sider accomplished exactly what he wanted. He wanted more eyes on him. He wasn't trying to give some bit of commentary about the trans identity. Talk about how flimsy it is. Talk about how easy it is to be a man who self identifies as trans, how easy it may be for predatory men to enter women's spaces. None of that was really on the table here. I think Josh Sider was falling into obscurity. He wanted a new spark as far as PR and he decided that the trans identity that was largely in the spotlight at the time and still is to this day was the way to move forward. But when people on both the left and right aren't believing you at some point, you gotta give it up, right? If nobody's giving in, then you have to move on to the next thing, just like with everything else. And the lack of self-awareness is really what striking here and he thinks this is some sort of brilliant, master-minded move. It's almost like those people that show up on American Idol thinking they have the best voice in the world and then you hear them sing and... ♪ I'm back my heart oh baby without you I just can't go on ♪ So yeah Josh, your problem wasn't that you didn't commit to the bit, it's that nobody believed you in the first place. So we'll keep an eye out I guess for Josh Sider's next PR stunt because there will certainly be one, actually, I definitely won't. Those are just my thoughts on this guys, we knew this was coming all along. We said it in the first video, you guys commented and said yeah he's definitely trolling and now we haven't confirmed.
