This is AP News. I'm Rita Falle. President Biden says he'll sign that TikTok bill into law if Congress passes it. It goes to the Senate now. The AP's Donna Warder. The U.S. House passed a bill that would ban TikTok in the United States. If its Chinese parent company ByteDance doesn't sell it first. TikTok has sought to assure lawmakers that employees in Beijing cannot access data gathered on U.S. users. Millions of Americans may see some bad weather today. Severe thunderstorms from parts of northeastern Texas through central Illinois and western Indiana. Large hail, even some tornadoes possible. Should a federal judge dismiss the classified documents case against Donald Trump? His lawyers say he was entitled to keep sensitive documents with him when he left the White House. Prosecutors say these are presidential records, not personal ones. The judge will hear arguments today on whether to dismiss the prosecution. A judge in Georgia has dismissed some of the charges against former President Trump in the Georgia 2020 election interference case. Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee wrote that six of the counts in the racketeering indictment must be quashed, including three against Trump. But he left in place 10 others against Trump and says prosecutors can seek a new indictment on the charges he dismissed. The indictment charges Trump in more than a dozen other defendants with violating Georgia's racketeer influence and corrupt organizations act. This is the first time in any of Trump's four criminal cases that charges have been dismissed with the judge ruling prosecutors failed to provide enough details about the alleged crime. This is AP news. Now to a sentencing date for the weapons supervisor for the movie Rust, the AP's Margie's Arleta has this. The weapons supervisor on the Alec Baldwin movie Rust will be sentenced next month after her conviction last week for involuntary manslaughter. Judge Mary Marlow summer has scheduled sentencing for armorer Hannah Gutierrez read for April 15th. Gutierrez read faces up to 18 months in prison and a $5,000 fine. She was the armorer on the set of the movie Rust. Prosecutors say she unwittingly brought live ammunition onto the set when it was expressly forbidden and she failed to follow basic gun safety protocols. Actor Alec Baldwin was pointing a gun during a rehearsal in 2021 when it went off, killing cinematographer Helena Hutchins. Baldwin will be tried for involuntary manslaughter in July.
