A.P. News, I'm Haya Punjwani. The weapon supervisor on the Alec Baldwin movie Rust will be sentenced next month after her conviction last week of involuntary manslaughter. A.P. correspondent Margie Zara-Letta has more. Judge Mary Marlow Summer has scheduled sentencing for armorer Hannah Gutierrez' read for April 15th. Gutierrez' read faces up to 18 months in prison and a $5,000 fine. She was the armorer on the set of the movie Rust. Prosecutors say she unwittingly brought live ammunition onto the set when it was expressly forbidden and she failed to follow basic gun safety protocols. Actor Alec Baldwin was pointing a gun during a rehearsal in 2021 when it went off, killing cinematographer Helena Hutchins. Baldwin will be tried for involuntary manslaughter in July. I'm Margie Zara-Letta. Speaking with reporters, White House press secretary Corinne Jean-Pierre says the United States is aware of Vladimir Putin's latest threats to use nuclear weapons.
