And so, this is a way for Schumer to take some of the incoming. But I don't see that. Schumer's not that kind of guy. Schumer's trying to protect himself and his razor-thin Senate majority. Howie! Now Trump's Treasury Secretary, Steve Mnuchin, has stepped forward and said he wants to buy it for a billion dollars. I don't know if that's going to work out or not. That would be a perfect solution, but something tells me it's not in the cards. Who has a star quarterback of the Naval Academy? Or was it the star running back of the Naval Observatory? I think West Point is making a big mistake by removing Howie, duty and country from their missionary statement. When he started talking about being a quarterback, I thought he was going to mention Aaron Rodgers, these rumors, that the quarterback of the New York Jets is going to be RFK juniors running me, because he's anti-COVID vaccine as well. You know, I know Aaron Rodgers is kind of a wacky guy sometimes, but is he really going to walk away from 28 million bucks at the age of 40? How many more 28 million dollar years is he going to have? I don't see it in the cards. Jesse Ventura, that seems much more likely to me. This election, the choice couldn't be clearer. Vote for the guy who's going to tip over the apple cart, or the guy who's going to trip over the apple cart. Well put, well put. Although, I don't think Trump is going to really... I mean, he wants to tip over the deep state apple cart, but Biden, in addition to tripping over our own personal, everyday American apple cart, is also tipping it over. So the post is reporting that New York City is down 78,000 residents. Governor Abbott said, "Hold my beer." Yeah, 78,000. You know, at first glance, it doesn't seem like a lot, but you know, think about it for a decade, if it continued. That would be 780,000, so that's like 10% of the population. That's going down pretty fast. Especially when you got all these illegal aliens coming in. Think how many American citizens, you know, people who work for a living and pay taxes and obey the rules and get driver's licenses and pay when they go into the subway, think how many of them must be leaving? It seems like Fox Business. It seems like Democrats want businesses to be taxed more, pay their workers. Do you think? Pay their workers? Excuse me. I didn't get to ask the question. Okay, thank you. We held a hearing on a 32-hour work week because what we have seen is that over the last 50 years, despite a huge increase in worker productivity, almost all of the wealth has gone to the top 1% while 60% of the people living paycheck to paycheck. Many of our people are exhausted. We worked longest hours of any people in the industrialized world. I think it's time for a short and work week. Can I ask you a question about that? It seems like Democrats want businesses to be taxed more, pay their workers more, lower prices, and now pay people not to work. You know what I would like to see? How are businesses going to survive that? That's the question. How can businesses survive all of those proposals? When Mr. Bezos pays an effective tax rate lower than the average worker. I think we have a real problem in our tax system. I think that billionaires have got to stop paying their fair share of taxes. Thank you. You know, we used to say millionaires and billionaires. One thing that you really have to think about is one of the last things Rachel Rollins did before she left office was bring the FBI into look into this case. And I wonder where this case would stand today if the FBI were not involved in, you know, you got to really applaud Rollins for doing what she did, even though she left under a cloud. She brought the federal authorities into investigate this. Well, you know, she did leave under a cloud and she didn't get along with Michael Morrissey when they were both district attorneys in Massachusetts and neighboring counties, budding counties. But Josh Levy has continued this and, you know, I don't want to give Rachel too much credit actually for much of anything. I mean, she tried to rig an election, Paul. You know, that's pretty bad. It's like, that's what Chuck Schumer is trying to do in Israel. She was trying to do it in her own backyard. Yeah. That's correct, Harry, but I say two weeks before she left, she did bring the federal authorities into this case and the levy has picked up the ball. That's for sure. But that's that's all I'm trying to relay to you by my opinion, only. Yeah, she, you know, she's, you know, personally, despite her anti-white rhetoric, despite the fact that she had a white father, I mean, she never bothered me. I don't, you know, I got along with her personally, but she was just really, really out of control what she was trying to do. I mean, and to throw in with Ricky Ricardo Arroyo, I mean, that was even more appalling. If you're going to fix it for someone, fix it for someone who's clean, then how we car. We told you earlier about a story that's just breaking today a horrible incident in Rockland last night at the former Comfort Inn, now it's a flop house for illegal aliens, and it's a 26-year-old Haitian charged with raping a 15-year-old girl at the hotel. And I just was, the Globe finally posted a story on it. Man charged with raping teenager, they don't say a Haitian, it's the DA's office says it's a Haitian, and it's a Haitian hotel, it's a migrant hotel, whatever, illegal alien hotel, but they don't call them illegal. Charged with raping teenager at hotel used to house migrant families, prosecutors say, and this is really going to shock you, they've shut off the comment section of the Globe. I wonder why. One of the people who just commented, they just put out a press release with Amy Carnavoli, the Republican state chairman, is the representative from the district, the Rockland district, and that is Dave the Coast. And he's joining us on the line now, Representative the Coast. Thanks for coming on The Howie Car Show, this is a terrible incident, obviously. Yeah, it's a terrible incident, how we, again, this is a young girl who's violated. And just generally, because I'm not going to say too much about it, but I do have every faith in Chief Coley and the team at the Rockland Police Department that they will conduct a thorough and fair investigation. And I think that justice will be served eventually, and again, I think it goes without saying that this is a symptom of what's going on, and certainly the Commonwealth has led this young lady down. Yeah, no, it didn't take the Rockland Police long to make an arrest, this just happened less than 24 hours ago, and the guy's already being held, held in jail without bond. He had a hearing today in the Hingham District Court. He's going to be held without bond pending a dangerousness hearing on March 22nd. But this is just, this is just terrible. I mean, we talked to you, we talked to former residents of the hotel when they were evicted to make room for this, and sad to say this is not terribly unpredictable, is it? No, as a matter of fact, you caught me as I was driving from there, but I was not leaving there having anything to do with this particular incident. I was leaving because I regularly check in towards the end of the week, every week Thursday of Friday, to see that, first of all, my few remaining citizens' families who were living there and not being evicted or tempted to be evicted as they once were. And also to check on the welfare and status, and we have a number of local groups. And if I could, is to give up the acknowledgement to the great work that the Rockland Eagles do, and also the tri-town rotary here in our area, whenever I've asked for anything in terms of helping these people, the ones who are evicted, find a new place in financing and so forth or help with the rents of the people who are remaining there, those two organizations suggest a pub. And again, the only other thing I'd say is that the Rockland Police Department is a consummate for sizes. I have never been sworn in on January of 2015, and I've never heard a negative thing about them. They're all great professionals, and I know that this will be dealt with quite fairly, but quite thoroughly as well, and it's just a shame that, you know, we're at a situation and the only other thing I would say is this is horrible, this is not an isolated incident, it happens. Every day throughout the country, and as you know, they have people far more knowledgeable than I. There are thousands and thousands of missing children all over the country who have come into the border that we've lost, we have lost track of. And then on the other side of that, there are thousands and thousands of people criminals that we haven't vetted that have come in here. So you wonder how many times this is being repeated a day, and nobody finds out. How many Americans are still living at the former comfort end? There are four families that I particularly look, I don't want to say look after, but I inquire about on a regular basis, they have my card, they've called me before. Several of them moved out, and again, thank you to a number of the fraternal organizations in this area who have just been fantastic about coming up with whatever these families need, either aid, take care of their needs within there and out. But I look at four specifically, there are some others, but this is primarily become, as you said, there is one or two, you know, they salt the organizations, they salt these places with one or two American families so they can say that, you know, it's not all homeless. Oh yeah, they always say, Mara Healy and Kim Driscoll, the lieutenant governor, they're always saying, oh, this is just, this is just, you know, both homeless Americans and illegal aliens, but it's, yeah, you're right, it's, it's, I think it's overwhelmingly and increasingly so illegal aliens. Now do you talk to the Rockland police and the first responders, are they having, are they having more problems now since, since the hotel was taken over by illegals? You know, I'll be careful what I say, I see, you know, I make it a point to be, if not the most, you know, strongest opponent for law enforcement, at least one of them in the legislature, as you know, so I, I hear, I hear many things from, from the senior leadership right down to the patrolman, not in this area, but generally, and then, you know, we're gets around these, officers, no one another, so I, they, they've been quite busy over there, let's just say that, they've been very, very busy. That was, that was said diplomatically, we, we all understand what you're saying, quite busy. Yes. And I think the same applies wherever, wherever these places have been set up. If you talk to the Kingston police, you know, off the record, because I'm actually related to one of them by marriage, so I hear a little bit about it, and yeah, there's, I think wherever they are, these types of problems I, though I hope not this quite severe, exist. And you, you know, you can't, they're in no position to monitor this, because as we, I think the first time we spoke about this, they're really doing no vetting. They can't do vetting, I mean, how can you look to a country like Venezuela or Haiti and expect that you're getting any type of accurate information as regards to whoever's coming? Right. And, and now the situations appear, certainly in Haiti, if not Venezuela, the situation continues to deteriorate and you're going to get a probably a, even more of a problematic group of people coming in than are already here. And it's just, I don't know, it's just, what, what is the latest with the right to shelter attempts, attempts to repeal the right to shelter law in Massachusetts? I mean, I assume it's going nowhere, but is, is there any efforts being made to, to propel it forward? Sure. The point legislature, legislator on that is, is as you know, Senator Pete Durant, he's doing it. Right. Senator Hunt is doing a terrific job and I support him 100%, but, you know, as, as you know, let's, let's face it, the, our likelihood of getting any type of repeal enacted is, is slim to none, at least the way the legislature is now. And maybe that auto-informed some of your listeners as to how they should be voting this November. Yes. Maybe that should, maybe that should become an issue or something they ask a candidate. Maybe he should propel them to actually get into some of these legislative races. It's not too late, is it? No, it's, it's not too late and I can tell you we've got, um, Plymouth County is kind of ground zero for it. Uh, a lot of empty legislative seats and people moving up and we have, we have terrific legislators, you know, move, uh, who are running for whether it be for, uh, Matt Martur in Plymouth and, uh, um, you know, City Council of Noon in, in, uh, out of Totten, who's running for Mark Pachico's seat. I think there's one thing we better say, she's terrific. And this is, um, this is one, I think this is one issue where you could absolutely say that, um, at least the GOP and many Democrats, some anyway, uh, are absolutely on the same sheet of music in terms of this is, uh, this type of thing. But when you look at something like that, we don't want to capitalize on a tragedy with this young lady, uh, because it really, but it really is emblematic of, of what is going on. And anybody, anybody could have predicted this, but this type of thing is eventually not only going to happen, but it's going to continue. Yeah. And I mean, if it's, you know, you got other problems, you, you know, we have these, this outbreak of chickenpox in, uh, in Roxbury, with all the, uh, the illegal aliens, uh, come and end there. They're all unvaccinated, uh, in Chicago, they're, they're, they're having a problem with measles out outbreak outbursts. You know, they're all kinds of stories every day. As you say that, uh, you know, you read about the illegal aliens, either a murdering people or driving the wrong way or just, it's just, it's just a terrible, terrible mess. And, and the, and the Democrats are all in on it. I would say anybody who was, uh, in, in one, lives in one of these communities that has one of these, uh, these facilities, shall we say, uh, this is, this would be a good issue to run on for the, uh, for the legislature as a Republican. But Dave, Dave, the coast, thank you. Thanks for your, uh, your service too. We appreciate it. You're doing a great job and, uh, congratulations on being reelected to the state committee last week as well, but congratulations, the commiserations are the only thing I'd leave you always again. I, one thing you won't have to worry about is, uh, rockwood PD are, are as professional as you can get. And you will have a very thorough investigation, um, from them. No question in my mind, they are terrific. Like I said, the, you know, this, this happened less than 24 hours ago and they had the guy in, in custody immediately. She's the state rep from this, uh, this air area, uh, in, uh, Plymouth County, Rockland. 844, 500, 42, 42, um, according to a complaint filed in court, the girl's father told them she was assaulted after she went to Alvarez's room. She said she told the suspect, uh, asked her if she had a boyfriend, then pushed her onto the bed and raped her. Police also spoke to the girl who said she asked, uh, the, uh, Haitian illegal to leave me alone, but he didn't stop. Police said Alvarez's girlfriend who stays with him at the hotel, I assume she's illegal as well returned Wednesday night with a friend while police were investigating the attack. The friend told police Alvarez was helping redacted with his tablet and later sent redacted to get it. He then allowed her, he showed her how to use it and then she left. She also stayed, I don't know what the, what the hell it means. Oh, she also stated that, uh, he came up after her and said to Alvarez, we will keep this just between the two of us 844 and no comments allowed on the globe story. The prosecutor of Norfolk County, reading between the lines, reminds me of the good old days in the 1980s of politicians in Massachusetts that were booze bags. So next point, you had mentioned earlier about different cultures and as far as age of consent and sexuality. And some people, like Romney's relatives, fled to Mexico and they still live down there because they wouldn't give up their multiple wives. Go figure. Okay. All right. So then go. Here's the point. You will see progressives in the future, I'm making a prediction, that within the next five years or so, that when people of one of the Abraham faiths, I'm not going to single it out, will want to have multiple wives. And these will be the same people that are feminists, that are leftists, that are all in favor of women's rights and all the above. Well, they already say, they're already trying to claim child brides are okay. And some of these, you know, when they get arrested for statutory rape, they claim, well, in our culture, we have child brides and you can sell a young woman as a child bride.
