Police in Northwest Ohio confirm at least two deaths, resulting from a fierce storm system that unleashed suspected twisters in the state on Thursday, as well as in Indiana and Kentucky. Indiana State Police say the storm left many significant injuries in Winchester, Northeast of Minneapolis. The AP's Donna Warder. The Israelis are pushing back this morning against an accusation against them. The AP's Charles de Ledesma has this story. The Palestinian health ministry has accused Israeli forces of launching an attack near an aid distribution point in war act Northern Gaza, killing at least 20 people and wounding over 150 others. The Israeli military says the report false, adding it was assessing the violence that occurred late on Thursday with the thoroughness that it deserves the international community, has been pushing for more aid to enter Gaza, frustrated with the growing humanitarian crisis and with Israel's restrictions that have prevented more aid getting in by land. Australia announced early on Friday it would resume funding to the United Nations Relief Agency for Palestinians and pledged additional money to UNICEF to provide urgent services in Gaza. I'm Charles de Ledesma. - Reports of system outages at McDonald's are growing around the world, closing some restaurants and leading to social media complaints. McDonald's in Japan posted on X that operations are temporarily out at many of their stores nationwide. McDonald's calls it a system failure. Customers in some countries are complaining of issues with ordering. Donald Trump has lost a bid to get his classified documents criminal case thrown out. This is AP News. The MTN group, one of Africa's largest network providers, said the disruptions were a result of failures in multiple major undersea cables. Network disruptions caused by cable damage have occurred in Africa in recent years, but the head of research at Netblocks, which documents disruptions globally, says Thursday's disruption was severe. Internet analysis firm CloudFlare says at least 10 countries in West Africa were heavily impacted, including Ivory Coast, Liberia and Ghana.
