This is AP News, I'm Rita Falle. Police in Ohio now confirmed two deaths in that severe storm that battered parts of Ohio and Kentucky. James Ashton lives in Milton, Kentucky. He says that wind was brutal. "There ain't nothing you can do, but it's going to get you, it's going to get you. There ain't no where to go here." He was heard there on WCPOTV. Police in Indiana report many significant injuries after a tornado tore through the community of Winchester. The verdict is in, in the trial of James Crumbly, the father of a teenager who killed four students in Michigan. "Count one and volunteer manslaughter as to Madison Baldwin." In Michigan, a jury four-person reading the verdicts against James Crumbly. "Count two and voluntary manslaughter as you take near." In all, four counts of involuntary manslaughter for the four students killed at Oxford High School in 2021 by his son. Ethan Crumbly is serving a life sentence for murder and terrorism. James Crumbly bought the gun his son used. He and his wife were accused of failing to secure that gun and doing nothing to address their son's mental health problems. Jennifer Crumbly was convicted last month. They're the first parents in the U.S. to be charged in a mass school shooting. I'm Ben Thomas. A federal judge says no to Donald Trump's effort to throw out his classified documents criminal case. The Israelis say it's not true. The Palestinian health ministry in Gaza is accusing Israeli forces of an attack near an aid distribution point in Gaza, killing 20 people. Voters in Russia are going to the polls. It's a three-day presidential election that's all but certain to extend President Putin's rule. Nissan and Honda are announcing they will work together in developing electric vehicles and auto intelligence technology. Though their products will remain different, this is AP News. Now to a growing effort to save segregated cemeteries across the country where African Americans are buried. Growing awareness and the discovery of graves of African Americans have sparked efforts to restore the sites which were established due to racial division, even in death. The burial sites have been found beneath parking lots, schools, and even in Air Force space. Race Relations historian Marvin Dunn. We're talking about hundreds of thousands of black people whose very places will never be known. In Miami's Brownsville neighborhood, the abandoned Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery was purchased and restored by a black family. Frank Wooten says maintaining it is a labor of love. The site dates back to the 19th century, and it's the resting place of those who face discrimination in life and a death by Norman Hall. The Dow lost 137 points yesterday. The S&P fell 14.
