over and go from local silver mint. And don't forget about silver for barters and trades, like one tenth ounce fractional silver. Better strap yourself in. It's time for the Howie Car Show. So very clear there. He's saying you cannot go forward unless what? One of you has to go. Either the DA and with her the entire office or Nathan Wade. This will be the easiest decision in the DA's office has ever had to make. Who are you going to believe? This judge of your lying eyes? We all know there was an actual conflict of interest here. She made money from this case. Live from the Matthews Brothers Studios. My grandfather used to say that being Irish is enough. Anyway, I won't point to that. Great story. Compelling and rich. Who do you love? Howie Car? They need to do something to close the border. Well, the analogy that I used to some people is if you got a leak in your house, if there's water going all over the place, you don't get a bucket and start popping it up. You stop the leak and then you clean up the mess. Rump swabs, hacks and moon bounce beware. It's... Howie Car. 844-542-42. Reading a headline from the Herald here. Man charged, meaning illegal alien from Haiti. Charged with raping migrant, meaning illegal alien from Haiti Girl. Under went two state sex offender checks, state says. Corey Alvarez, a man charged with allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl at a Rockland shelter. A flop house. Under went two sex offender registry checks and entered the United States through a quote unquote federal program. A federal program. That's rather vague, isn't it? Imprecise. According to Governor Marahold at Healy's office. Corey Alvarez, 26 pleaded not guilty in Hingham District Court to one count of aggravated rape of a child and was being held in jail ahead of a dangerousness hearing schedule for next Friday. We reported all this yesterday. He was a resident of a flop house in Rockland that is housing migrant families as part of the state's shelter system. At an unrelated event in Worcester, Healy said everyone who enters a state-run shelter is quote unquote vetted. And Alvarez came into the country quote waffily, waffily. Under the federal government through a federal program, which a spokesman said was a reference to the federal immigration system. Again, these are rather vague terms, aren't they? Everybody including him who enters our shelter locations is vetted. We're deploying all we can in terms of vetting individuals. They have no idea who these people are. None of them. You talk to people in the flop houses that are Americans that are working there. They have no idea who these people are. Alvarez underwent two Massachusetts sex offender registry checks, including through the sex offender registry information system and the sex offender registry board, which is standard practice for all emergency assistance shelter residents. So they want you to take it. So they vetted all these people. I'm sure that, you know, when they ask when they say, hey, could you take in a migrant? We've vetted him. There won't be any danger to your children or your grandchildren or to yourself. They've all been vetted. Healy said the state has security and systems in place, including vetting processes. But it is unfortunate that from time to time, things will happen anywhere, not just in shelter, but anywhere. Yeah, you know, that's true. But if you suddenly bring in all of these criminals from the third world, you're going to have these unfortunate things happening in much higher percentage than used to happen, which is what's happening now. This is an allegation of sexual assault and rape. She said it's one that we take very seriously. I'm glad that law enforcement was right on it. Yeah. The shelter in Rockland is staffed by the Massachusetts National Guard. And, you know, Rockland police were dispatched Wednesday evening. We went over all this last night. The 15-year-old told police she went to a room at the hotel with Alvarez, who allegedly asked the girl if she had a boyfriend, then pushed her onto the bed and penetrated her. Alvarez's girlfriend, who stays at the shelter with him, showed up and spoke to police at the hotel through a friend. The woman translating, translating, okay, she's translating. The woman translating freely spoke, stating Alvarez was helping with, redacted with his tablet, and he later sent redacted to get it. You know, I heard from people who work in these flop houses that these tablets, you know what? They give them these tablets so that they can take part in the ESL. English is a second language program. But a lot of them use the tablets to access porn. And they also access porn on their cell phones, which you and I are paying for, as well. Senator Peter Durant, a Spencer Republican, said the heinous act is indicative of systemic failures. We've seen fires at shelters, chickenpox outbreaks, murderers, and now rape. When is enough enough? It is far past time for the legislature and administration to take action to come up with a solution. The path the state is on currently is not feasible. I'm surprised he didn't use sustainable. That's the word that Democrats usually use. It's not sustainable. It is imperative to stop the flow into the state. It's imperative to reverse the flow, obviously. So this is going on everywhere. And there was a terrible incident here in Palm Beach. I mentioned it yesterday in Palm Beach County. Three men are facing charges after these three illegal aliens from Guatemala kidnapped a woman who said she was sexually battered by them. One of the men had previously been sighted for, stop me if you've heard this one before, driving without a license. A woman was shocked. I know. A woman was walking to an Orient gas station on Second Avenue, then records say police a white pickup truck with metal poles approached the woman before a man grabbed her from behind, put her in a chokehold, just doing, just third worlders doing the third world thing, put her in a chokehold and dragged her into the pickup truck. The illegal aliens took the woman to two locations before she finally escaped near Lake Osborne. So the sheriff of Palm Beach County was on, he's a Democrat. His name is Rick Bradshaw. He was on, he was on, at a press conference, and then he was on Fox News later in the day. Cut four from Sheriff Rick Bradshaw, Palm Beach County, Florida. Cut four. Don't think for a minute that what happens at the Mexican border doesn't affect us here. Here you have three illegals that showed up never been in this country, that have committed a very serious crime, kidnapping and sexual battery of a lady. For them to be in this country, to be able to commit these type of crimes is unconscionable. The federal government has put the American people in jeopardy. Democrat say that he sounds like an alderman from Chicago. He sounds like the mayor of New York City. Cut five. But the issue with me is they should have never been in this country. It's the same thing that happened with Lake and Rylan and other businesses. You've got people that shouldn't be here that we know commit crimes and yet they're here. Right? It's a failure at the border. And we got to have to deal with it. Look, I'm in charge of regional domestic security for all of Southeast Florida. Three counties, the biggest counties in this state. We have to deal with it. Our border is the ocean. We are the fence out there. And we have to deal with bad guys trying to get into our country coming across in the water. Cut six. Right? But look, the reality of it is you've got 1.5 million gotaways. Those are the people that have not come in control or contact with border patrol because they're cartel. They're gang members. They're wanted individuals. They could be terrorists. They're pack and fentanyl. I mean, I saw a video of 10 military age guys dressed in camouflage backpacks on. They had carpet on their feet so they didn't have footprints. And they're in the country. The law of Texas border down there. They don't stay there. And he's got a really good analogy here. If you've ever had a leaky roof, you know what it's like. It's a real headache. Cut seven. I'm not a politician. I'm a law enforcement guy. This is a bipartisan issue. They need to do something to close the border. Well, the analogy that I use to some people is if you've got a leak in your house, if there's water going all over the place, you don't get a bucket and start mopping it up. You stop the leak and then you clean up the mess. The leak has got to stop. You guys have shown it. The bore us is poor. A border is porous, right? But it's the Godaways. It's the people we don't know how bad they are. And yeah, there's a bit of swelling gangs. We've identified along with the FBI that they're working in Miami. But you know, the thing is, these Guatemalans, they're just, you know, these, I don't know, these were like members of an organized crime gang. These are just, these are just third world criminals. And they know that they can do whatever the hell they want, even in a red state like Florida. They have no, they have no fear because they know the Americanos are going to just look the other way, like Mara Healy. 844-542-4274. How would he be on a sex history if he's here illegally? Exactly. Yeah. I know. Oh, we checked him in both places. What are they kidding? Yeah, they are kidding. 844-542-844-542-4242. Stakes some calls about the illegal alien situation and the terrible crime last night in Rockland and all the other crimes and what's going on in all these things that have to be done across the nation, actually. 844-542-4242. We're going to take some calls on this illegal alien situation, especially with the flop houses. I've gotten some text recently about the laundry, sir. Now, you know about the meals, $64 a day for meals, the free health care, the dental, the medical, the fact that the women are all getting pregnant so they can stay in these flop houses for more than nine months. Some of them have already had one baby and they're pregnant again because they know they get more money and they get a longer stay for free. No one's learning to work. Very few are. But I heard from somebody. They pay, they do pay for the illegal laundry service. They drop off their clothes in the lobby. If the illegal's drop it off by nine o'clock, it's returned by five p.m., folded and placed in bags with the room number on them. $3.15 per pound. On average, each bag weighs about 10 to 20 pounds. So do math. $3.15 times 15. That's $47 per room. Usually they use the service about three days a week. So that's $150 a week per room for the laundry in addition to $64 a day for food per person, not to mention the cost of the room, not to mention the cost of all the free services. 844-542-42. Apparently they complain about the meals. These Haitian flop houses, they want more Haitian meals. Even though most of them haven't been to Haiti for a long time. They went to Chile and then they went to Brazil and then they just figured the welfare is better up here so they came up here. They got out of Haiti a long time ago. But now they've decided to become Haitians. I guess because you become a Haitian immigrant. You could be KJP, you could be Claudine Gay. How's that about working out for us, giving big jobs to people like KJP and Claudine Gay? Elaine, you're next with highway car. Go ahead, Elaine. I know this whole problem is really the result of the Biden administration, Marjili, et cetera, et cetera, doing nothing, the Rockland, horrendous Rockland incident. In addition, I wonder if there's any sense in public going after these companies that run the comfort and the best western. Just calling and registering our displeasure. I know that they took these people in because they make more money than paying customers coming. I don't think it would do any good, Elaine. I mean, the place in Taunton that Shauna O'Connell, the mayor, got the contract from the state, they signed a nine-year contract, Elaine. Every room full, every night for nine years. Do you know how much money that is? Doesn't matter if they destroy the place. They could just walk away. They'll have so much doubt. I was going to say don't stay at these places anymore, but you can't anyway because they're full. You can't even find a hotel room in many places. Right. And so the city of Taunton is finding that hotel. That's what I just have to be familiar with because I know the mayor and the city councilor is running for the Senate, Kelly Dooner. They're finding them 1,000 a day and nobody's paying it because I guess whoever they're paying it, whoever they're sending the bill to, they're saying it's the state's responsibility and the state is saying they don't have to pay any city fines. So it's costing Taunton so much money. They have to provide schooling for all these illegal kids. The first responders are overwhelmed by all the crime and just the general chaos at these places. And then they lose the lodging tax. It's not a huge amount, but it's probably a couple of hundred thousand. Everything is wrecked. But the illegal aliens are having a great time and the hotels are making a lot of money. Thanks for the call, Elaine. It's unfortunate. There's no solution. And so the cities, a lot of the cities and towns that aren't looking the other way would like to do something, but they can't because they've issued these emergency orders like Charlie Parker used during COVID. So the state's insane mandates override anything the cities and towns can do. 844-542-42-I'm Howie Car. Hi there. It's Silver Dave from local Silver Mint in Ware, New Hampshire. Apparently these hotels have, you know, when you ask them politely to clean up their rooms, it's a confrontational situation. Like tell them, please, can you turn down your phone while you're watching porn on it in the lobby or in the parking lot? They get angry because everything's free in America. And if you say anything, I guess you're a racist, even if you're black and you're an American, and you're telling them what to do? That guy's gotta be, this has gotta be the best year of his business. How long till the restaurants start closing down to the public too, so they can just cater to these hotels day and night? Yeah, well, I mean, they tried to stop them from running these hotels. Well, didn't they, didn't they, in datum? That was one of the things, 'cause they got two of these flop houses in datum. And one of the restaurants had closed down and they were trying to reopen it, and then the residents stopped them, and of course, the globe accused them of being racist in datum. 844-542, 42, so I asked Dave DeCoste, the state rep from the Rockland area. He's the state rep for this hotel, this flop house. It's in his district. I asked him last night when he was on the show about police calls. Here's his response, cut 11. You talked to the Rockland police and the first responders, are they having, are they having more problems now since the hotel was taken over by illegals? You know, be careful what I say. I see, I make it a point to be. It's not the most, you know, strongest opponent for law enforcement, at least one of them in the legislature, as you know. So I hear many things from the senior leadership right down at the patrolman, not in this area, but generally, and then, you know, where it gets around these officers, no one another. So they've been quite busy over there. Let's just say that. They've been very, very busy. - They've been quite busy over there. And again, he's trying to be politically correct, but as I told them, we all know what he means. They've been quite busy over there. Kevin, you're next with how we car. Go ahead, Kevin. You there? - Can you hear me? - Yes. - Hey, howie, thank you for taking my call. This is all recent. So this afternoon, I saw some attendees that they were doing a, I don't know, Mark's madness burger thing. So I live in Andover. So I'm like, all right, where's the, you know, two bucks for a double cheeseburger or something? So, you know, anyway, I drove down 28 into Lawrence. And around, I guess at the end of school, you know, time, I'm not sure exactly, it was probably, you know, around three o'clock. Anyway, long short of it, I cut through from 28, and that's getting the details. It threw a parking lot, which happens to be the registered motor vehicles up here in Lawrence. So anyway, getting through there, I had it dodged, like probably two or three cars, like going the wrong way. You know, like almost, you know, almost head on collisions, whatever, stop. And then when I got in front of the motor boat of vehicles, there were like three white vans, and they let off, I don't know, probably 25? I don't know how many people with envelopes in their hands. They were all under five feet tall. I'm not gonna say, you know, what nationality they were, 'cause I don't know, but they didn't look American. And they were letting them off into the registered motor vehicles to register. So anyway, so I'm stopped there, and I'm like, geez, I'm just trying to get a particular converter, you know, and being a cheap bastard, they were a winner for the $5 discount. So anyway, I finally get through that, and then I go out to, it's called Route 114, which is now in North and over, and the high school, the Lawrence High School was there, and there's a basketball, like, you know, pick up games going on. There are, it's policed, like, meaning that they had all the, I don't know who was playing, I have no idea if they were like students, but it looked like, oh my God, what the hell's going on? And that you have a outdoor pick up game, you know, like, you know, that you have to be, you know, policing it. So I can't imagine why that would have to be, and I'm not talking about, you know, Brock and Ryan, I'm talking about Lawrence. Lawrence was already a really challenged area. I think now, oh my God, I mean, I don't know what's going on there. And then, you know, people don't know. - Do you think, Kevin, I'll just stop you right here. Do you think you'll be going back to Lawrence any time soon? - Well, they give warnings that, no, no, I won't. They give warnings to, don't go to ATMs, don't go into more, I mean, but that's, Lawrence used to be a beautiful, I'm not, I'm from Buffalo, New York, actually, originally, but Lawrence used to be architecturally, it's ruined and used to be a beautiful, beautiful, beautiful city. I mean, you can see the architecture, you can see what happened. I mean, now, you couldn't even go, I mean, now, I would never go there. No, I won't help me. I mean, unfortunately, 'cause, I mean, it was, you know, what, let's go back to the, you know, World War I, World War II textile, know the mills and the industries that were there. - When it was a working class, keyword working class city, as opposed to a non-working class city. Thanks for the call, Kevin. - Remember, who was the woman, Patricia McGovern, she was the state senator from Lawrence, and oh, she was a big liberal, she ran the Ways and Means Committee under Bulger. And when she quit the Senate, she said, I love Lawrence, I'll always live in Lawrence. She moved out, she moved out. So, we say, well, wait, I thought you were a big liberal, you know, I thought you were gonna always live in Lawrence, 'cause it was a working class town. She said, it's a cultural thing, you know, I gotta go to work in the morning. And everybody was up all night partying, I couldn't get any sleep anymore. Gee, what a surprise, Senator McGovern, Madam Chairman, 844, 542, 42, I don't even know what happened to Patricia McGovern anymore, I don't even know if she's still around. Don, you're next with Howie Carr, go ahead, Don. - Howie, thank you, listen, personal experience, in 1996, I'm in Caracas, Venezuela. Now, this is before it went to that, right? - Yeah. - The police did not go into certain parts of the city on a hillside, they would pick up the bodies in the morning that were thrown down. Going to a restaurant, you were told, do not call a camera, get the matriD to get a cab for you, because there's kidnapping people in the cab. One of the ambassadors' son, the ambassador employee's son, was strip naked and robbed in the city. This is in 1996, and it's gone down, that's who it's before it went bad. These people in the United States have no idea what's coming here, none. These people are savages, and given an open ticket, what do you think you're gonna do? Stay on the hill, throw on the body, stop, or come to the first zone up in the United States. - Right, with free everything, including a free pass to commit whatever crimes they wanna commit. - And then it explains the records, 'cause nobody knows what they did down there. - Right. - I mean, this is the craziest thing of all in the, in the Herald store. I mean, there's a lot of nutty stuff in here from the state. Alvarez, that's the alleged rapist, underwent two Massachusetts sex offender registry checks, including the sex, through the sex offender registry information system and the sex offender registry board. They have no idea what his name is. How are they gonna run 'em through the either of these boards? They could run 'em through a million boards. Would mean anything? That's another thing they say about in these flop houses, they got no idea who any of these people are. Eight, four, four, five hundred, forty, two, forty. The cops apparently don't wanna even come into these places. And they say they don't wanna go in, even if, you know, even if they're called, they don't wanna go into the rooms because they don't know what's in there. And they tell the people that work there, the Americans, they say, well, even if we do arrest them, the judges are just gonna throw it out 'cause the judges are as nutty as Brandon and everybody that works in the White House. Mike, you're next with Howie Carr, go ahead, Mike. Yeah, listen, this situation down in '80s, I'm gonna get worse. We're gonna get an influx of these guys and acts like we've never seen before. And I was in Florida when it happened before in the '80s. I remember that, yes. Yeah, exactly. You know, barbecue in its boys. When they got down and took over the main seaport, they broke in its two prisons and they released thousands of criminals. I mean thousands, you know, when Trump said bad amorates, these are them. This is crazy. And look, these are all notorious gang leaders. They just went out of prison. Yeah. They're not gonna want any competition down there, okay? barbecue's gonna ship these guys north as fast as he can. Right. Now, all this chaos in Haiti right now, 130 miles north of Port of Prince is what's known as Labidi. It's a private cruise port with a Royal Caribbean cruise line. Yeah. Now look, they've had a level, they've had a level four warning from the State Department. And I mean, level four is the highest warning to have. Kidnap and crime, civil unrest, telling everybody to get the hell out of the country. But the private cruise line is still bringing tourists in the northern part of Haiti. Are they comacy? Let me tell you, these guys are gonna go up there and start kidnapping these people and holding them for ransom. I don't know what the hell the State Department's doing, but boy, they're not on top of this one. Well, you ever look at Anthony Blinken, the Secretary of State? He doesn't know his rear end from a hole in the ground. Look what he's doing in the mid-east. He doesn't know anything. He's a boob. Thanks for the call, Mike. 844-542-42. I'm Howie Carr. So I just want to read you, before we go back to talking about the illegal aliens and the flop houses, I was just looking over the ruling from Judge McAfee. It's really even more pathetic than I thought. He's talking about it. He's pulling the Pontius pilot. He's washing his hands of the whole thing. This finding, right Judge McAfee, is by no means an indication that the court condones this tremendous lapse in judgment, or the unprofessional manner of the district attorney's testimony during the evidentiary hearing. Rather, it is the under sign, meaning the judge's opinion that Georgia law does not permit the finding of an actual conflict for simply making bad choices, even repeatedly. How about lying under oath? Is that a bad choice, Judge? It's called perjury. But he says there are other forms. Other forms are sources of authority, such as the General Assembly, the legislature, the Georgia State Ethics Commission, the State Bar of Georgia, the Fulton County Board of Commissioners, or the voters of Fulton County may offer feedback on any unanswered questions that linger. But those are not the issues determinative of the defendant's motions alleging an actual conflict. That's really pitiful, isn't it? Could it be any more pitiful? 844, 500, 42, 42, 844, 500, 42, 42, apparently some of these places, they go to the local churches and the humanitarian groups, the civic organizations, and they ask for help. And they get the old church lady type crowds. And well, so you would be the people that used to be in the garden club. But now they're more liberal. So they say, can you come down and help out here? And apparently, they don't last long. Because the word that's often used is rude. These people are rude. And then they're saying that they're going to put them in home base. That's this program where they put the indigence into the private dwellings. Many landlords have been burned by home base. And home base stipends prevent landlords from evicting renters as they receive partial payments, even if the renters don't pay their share. And one landlord told one of my correspondence here, one of the landlords said, I'd rather take a chance on a heroin addict that some of these people, not renting to anyone who will destroy my place and not pay. See, it's kind of different if you have your own place. A three-decker, you've had it for years. You want to pass it down to your kids. Or you just have some kind of sense of neighborhood. You don't want to screw over the neighbors. Whereas with these big hotels, I mean, you just look at the payoff. You know, a nine-year lease, full rooms every night for nine years at the above market value. You're going to take the money and run. And you're going to leave behind yet another city or town in shambles, which is what's happening. 844-542-42. Happy St. Patrick's Day, everybody. Erin Gobra, I'm Howie Carr. Recently, a Grace Curly show listener Candice called into the show to tell us how much she loved her thunderstorms. Her furnace was serviced, and afterwards, the smell of oil was lingering in her home. She turned on the thunderstorms and watched the magic happen. The thunderstorm eliminated the funky odors. But the best part? Candice's husband, who rolled his eyes when she would talk about the thunderstorm, well, he finally understood what she was raving about. One of the great parts about the thunderstorm is that it isn't one of those flowery plug-ins
