So very clear there. He's saying you cannot go forward unless... What? One of you has to go. Either the DA and with her the entire office or Nathan Wade. This will be the easiest decision the DA's office has ever had to make. Who are you going to believe? This judge of your lying eyes. We all know there was an actual conflict of interest here. She made money from this case. Live from the Matthews Brothers Studios. My grandfather used to say that being Irish is enough. Anyway, I won't point to that. Great story. Compelling and rich. Who do you love? Howie Car. They need to do something to close the border. Well, the analogy that I use to some people is if you got a leak in your house, if there's water going all over the place, you don't get a bucket and start popping it up. You stop the leak and then you clean up the mess. Rump swabs, hacks and moon baths beware. It's... Howie Car. That last guy, by the way, in the intro, that was Rick Bradshaw. He's the sheriff of Palm Beach County where I'm broadcasting from, where I live six months and one day of the year. And he's a Democrat and he was saying this just after three illegal aliens from Guatemala. One of whom had been stopped and I think arrested for driving without a license or driving drunk or one of those usual illegal alien things. And they just cut him loose, even in the red state of Florida. And he and his two of his amigos went and they grabbed a woman off the street and sexually assaulted her. I mean, this wasn't one of these drunk and pick them up at some unlicensed bar or something in Riviera Beach. She was walking down the street and they just snatched her. It's just... it's horrible. It's horrible what's going on here. They want to let in more of them, millions more. They want to destroy the United States of America. 844-500-4242-844-500-4242. I've gotten so many stories about what's going on with these flop houses. You won't believe it. I found a lot of stuff. A couple of people have texted me about the situation with the laundry. Did you know this? I didn't know this until I got a couple of texts the other day. The illegal aliens can get same day service. You have to pay extra for same day service at your local dry cleaner. But not the illegal... You've got job interviews to get to, Howie. Come on. I got so much stuff for my Sunday column. I just got to put it all together. It's just... oh my God. All right. 844-500-4242. We had Tulsi Gabbard coming on today at four o'clock trying to get her for years. She's going to be in New Hampshire at the New Hampshire Liberty Forum. That's at the double tree in Hilton. Double tree by Hilton in Nashville. You can get tickets at nhlibertyforum.com. She's got a new book coming up. We'll talk more with her. That'll be good to talk to her finally. But first, we're going to start off, I think, with this decision. You know, we're not surprised. Or should I say 58% of us are not surprised? Because that was the poll question yesterday. 58% of us, including me, said he's scared. He's scared to do the right thing. And sure enough, it's just a weird decision, though. Let me read you this. In total, defendants point, this the judge, point to an aggregate documented benefit of, most, approximately $12,000 to $15,000 in the district attorney's favor. So the payoff was only $12,000 to $15,000, so never mind. Is that the new standard? These expenditures, he continues, were not meant as gifts and not designed to benefit the district attorney. Both testified that the district attorney regularly reimbursed Wade in cash. The judge believed that story. Did you believe that story? I didn't believe that story. How about this one? You know what? Here's what I feel. And Judge McAfee got to this. An odor of mendacity remains. An odor of mendacity. Think about that. Mendacity, that means lying, lying. 844, 542, the court is not under an obligation to ferret out every instance of potential dishonesty from each witness or defendant ever presented an open court. Such an expectation would mean an end to the efficient disposition of criminal and civil proceedings. Well, if you have somebody who's the prosecutor who goes on to the witness stand and commits perjury, and she goes and she gets this guy, Terrence Bradley, she submorons perjury to use a legal term. I mean, she gets him to lie, which she certainly appears to have done. I mean, I believe that if you allow her to remain prosecuting someone on, basically for crimes that didn't occur, crimes that really aren't crimes, I believe that would mean an end to the efficient disposition of criminal and civil proceedings. It's pitiful. That's pitiful. There has not been a showing that the defendants' due process rights have been violated or that the issues involved prejudice the defendants in any way. Well, for one thing, it's a Kangaroo court to begin with. These are ridiculous charges. As shown by the fact that this judge himself, who's, you know, like one of those monkeys, those statues of the three monkeys see no evil here, no evil, speak no evil. Man, 844-542. Let's put a, let's have Alan Dershowitz. He summed it up pretty well, cut to. Fire to commit perjury with Nathan Wade and with the other witness. Who are you going to believe? This judge of your lying eyes. We all know there was an actual conflict of interest here. He just doesn't have the guts to say it. And I predicted he wouldn't have the guts to say it. He has to live in Fulton County. Now, he may have said some things that are very critical of her, but still he should have removed the case from the case. There is an actual conflict of interest. She made money from this case. It's worse than that, though. She lied. She lied under oath. I know she's a Democrat, but, you know, people get into trouble for committing perjury, or they used to anyway, at least if you were, if you were, if you're a Republican, you could still get into trouble. You know, I'm glad Jonathan Turley was thinking of the, you know, he made the same point that I was thinking. I mean, he said it first. I didn't say it, but I was thinking the same thing about this is like two people go in to a bank with drawn guns. And then they all, they robbed the place, and then they walk out, and they only arrest one person. Gee, I come to think of it. It's kind of like the, the race fixing scandal with the Winter Hill Gang, when all of them were involved, but they arrested everybody or made everybody run away, except for Whitey and Stevie, because they were on the right team. So, Fanny was on the right team here, and so she, she didn't get arrested after robbing the bank. Let's play Jonathan Turley's cut. Cut one. You'd have to reassign this to another set of prosecutors. That would cause considerable delay. It could also cause the dismissal of the case. If those new prosecutors looked at this racketeering theory and said, like many of us, wow, this doesn't really hold together very well. So, this avoided the cliff, but it did not avoid the questions that will inevitably come up. You know, it's like, you know, finding two people in a bank vault and taking one off the jail. I mean, it, the question is, you know, the appearance problem that the judge identified with regard to wait, was directly related to his relationship with Willis. They both testified in the same way. They were the two parts of this, this relationship, and yet only one of them was disqualified. And so that's going to lead to these questions. I mean, well, why should Willis escape that same penalty? The opinion leaves us feeling like the court went and shot the wounded. Yeah, I mean, come on. It's, you know, people say, oh, well, you know, she's dusted up and, you know, she's, she's flawed. But the case can still, theoretically, anyway, go forward. I wanted the case to just get tossed to the Attorney General or to some panel of prosecutors, and they would just have to postpone it. The case is BS. It's just designed to dust Trump up. No one, you know, no one thinks this case is anything serious. Again, it was, it's based on an illegal wiretap that didn't produce what they wanted to, so they made up crap and fed it to the Washington Post, which lapped it up with a spoon. I mean, it's a ridiculous case. 844, 542, 441, it sounds like the White House got to Judge McAfee. I don't think they had to get to him. It was just that he knew that he didn't want to have, you know, a trans killer coming to his house like the guy that came to Brett Kavanaugh's house. He didn't want Chuck Schumer, you know, thundering. You'll reap the whirlwind. You bald judge looks 20 years older than you really are. Hey, Howie, the other part of this, too, that one of the textures pointed out, which I think is a really good point, is that Fannie Willis, when she gave that speech, that lecture, that MLK speech at the church afterwards, when this whole thing first broke, she was singing, Nathan Wade's, you know, singing his praises, saying, "Oh, he's uniquely qualified. He's a superstar. That's what she called him." So if all of that's true, then shouldn't he be the one who gets to stay, and she should be the one who's removed? Like, if he's this once in a lifetime special prosecutor who deserves to be there, why doesn't she step aside? He's going to get a massive payday, though, Grace. That's the thing. They'll take care of him. In some jurisdictions, you'd call it hush money. That's what he's going to get. Cruz money is what we call it in Fulton County. NDA, this is a non-disclosure agreement that he'll be signed. Didn't someone else get into trouble with NDA, I believe, with someone named Stormy Daniels? I guess if a Democrat signs an NDA, though, it's, you know, it's settle law. All right. 844, 542, 42. You just ask people that are in the campaign or talk to Trump or other... I see him every once in a while, but I don't talk to him for long periods of time. And I talked to one guy who talked to him recently, and I said, "Are they doing something?" And the guy looked at me and said, "We can only hope." I didn't think that was a positive answer. Anyway, 844-500-42-844-500-42-42. Here are a couple of good questions. I wish I knew the answer to. Any chance the Georgia State Senate investigation results in Fannie's removal? They're going pretty fast, but I don't think it's fast enough. And Howie, why doesn't the Georgia Attorney General step in? I'm not sure he can... If she was disqualified, I think that's when the Attorney General, the guy, he's a Republican named Chris Carr, would step in. I think they passed the law to the legislature and signed by the governor to get rid of these crooked district attorneys, but a court threw it out, so they fast-tracked the bill, and I think Governor Kemp, as bad as he is in some ways, he signed it this week. But I don't know how quickly that can be utilized, this due legislation. I'm sure the law fair crowd will take it to court as well and seek to get a temporary restraining order on it until the judge can throw it out for the benefit of the Democrats. 844-500-42-42. Patrick, you're next with Howie Carr. Go ahead, Patrick. Hey, Howie, I knew that judge was going to punt on that decision or you're removing when he asked the question in open court, wouldn't this affect all the every indictment that she ever signed, that if she was found to be a purgerer? It seemed like he was more worried about his workflow and his kind of gentle lifestyle and easy work schedule rather than... I think he's worried about his reelection, because if he loses the judgeship, he's going to have to go out and work for a living, like every other lawyer and every other person in the United States who's not on a public payroll. Yeah, that's right, and if the court looks like it's blowing up, and every case he ever worked on was being challenged, he could be in trouble in that a lot. That's one of those things. You know, this state trooper, Michael Proctor, who apparently misled the investigators, and he told it to the grand jury in the Karen Reed case. All of his cases are going to be, if it's true, what was said and no one disputed it, all of his cases are going out the window. Look at all the... when they had the two chemists for the Department of Public Health to work for the state police that falsified thousands and thousands of drug tests, they had to throw all those out. This is one of those things. I mean, you know, you don't have a choice when the law has been violated. If you're going to be a nation of laws, again, I know the Democrats don't want to be a nation of laws, but you know, you have to have a certain standard if everybody's going to be treated alone. If everybody's going to be treated alike, and we don't just revert to becoming Port of Prince and have gangs running around cannibal gangs, running around putting necklaces full of gasoline, setting people on fire if they don't want to eat them. 844-542-42, I would rather live in an Anglo-American First World Society than Port of France. I'm Howie Carr. Live from the Matthews Brothers Studios. 844-542, textures are really weighing in on these flop houses and in the wake of this Haitian illegal raping. Now it turns out she was a disabled girl, 15 years old in Rockland at the Old Comfort Inn. 781, driving down Route 1 in Sagas yesterday, there was a line of Haitian newcomers walking down the highway to their sanctuary motels with cases of water balancing on their heads. Welcome to the New American Third World, like a safari in an old movie. Here's another one. This is from the Rockland Hingham area. They just opened a daycare preschool. They literally just opened it and all the locals were all peoed because they thought that the school was going to bring in extra traffic. Little did they know. There was much more stuff coming than a little bit of extra traffic for a preschool. All right, time now for Grace with the nose. Yes, Howie going on with your big story about Fanny Willis. A lot of people reacting, including Megan Kelly, who blasted the decision and called it a split the baby decision. She's not the only one. A lot of conservatives feel as though this was the easy way out and the Judge Scott McAfee just didn't have the backbone to make the right call. Well, yeah, I mean, it kind of goes without saying, you know, I was thinking there's a there's a good. I think you used that this guy Scott Grubman. He's another attorney that was on TV today. And, you know, let's just play that cut cut three. I'm personally disappointed. I disagree with it. I found it interesting that Judge McAfee made pretty clear, I think, that he thought Fanny Willis was lying on the stand that he thought Nathan Wade was likely lying on the stand that he thought Nathan Wade's former law partner was likely lying on the stand. And then yet at the end of the day, he said, in order to purge all of these issues, all that needs to happen is that Mr. Wade step aside. Let me ask you, if you were being charged with a crime that could land you in prison for 10 plus years, would you feel under these circumstances that you were being given a fair shape? Probably not. And if that's the answer, it doesn't matter who the defendant is. Donald Trump, whoever else do processes due process. I personally don't feel this is consistent with due process. I personally feel like the entire office should have been disqualified. I agree. Yeah, and it comes down to if you can't trust her judgment, like, I always go back to the Joe Biden thing about the dogs. If you'll lie about something small, you'll probably lie about something big. She's lying about big things during these disqualification hearings. So why should anyone trust that she's going to handle Donald Trump's case with any sort of integrity? This is one of those things too, where this isn't a big deal. But as that guy Scott Grubman said, if you're looking at 10 years in jail for basically for a trumped pardon the expression, trumped up charge, it's a damn big deal. Yeah. If the, if the, if the prosecutor just committed perjury in a case and was basically taking payoffs, I mean, it's, yeah, it's a big deal. It's like, you know, it's like, oh, burglary. It's not a major crime. Not if you've been burglarized. It's a major crime. If you're burglarized, why should someone be deported just for stealing a car? If they stole my car, they're going to damn well, they're lucky. They're only going to be deported. You know, it's, do they not understand this? They hate Trump so much though. They just, they don't care. They don't care. The ends justify the means yet again here. And this is why nobody, nobody in any demographic group trust, trust the justice system anymore. Because it's, it's not J.U.S. T.I.C.E. It's J.U.S.T. that space U.S. just us. Yeah. And speaking of that, the Manhattan D.A. Alvin Bragg is asking for a delay to Trump's hush money trial. This is when Fox News Manhattan district attorney Alvin Bragg is pushing for a delay to the start of former President Trump's New York hush money criminal trial. In a Thursday court filing, the D.A.'s office said it was not opposed to a journey at the start of the trial for up to 30 days to give Trump's legal team time to review evidence that was recently turned over. So I think he's dealing with six cases at this point, and it's hard to keep track of all of them. But the timeline for these cases, how I don't think is lining up with what the Democrats were hoping. No. But, but it doesn't, it doesn't matter. I mean, the larger, I mean, it does matter, but the larger issue is nobody should have to undergo this. Nobody should have to put up with this. This is, this, this is a, a bill of a tinder in one way or another. You know, a bill of a tinder is a, is a, is a law that's just aimed at one person or one entity. And it's usually used in criminal cases. But this is, I, these are, these are bills of a tinder when you get right down to it against Donald Trump. Yeah. Now, someone else who's dealing with a case of their own is Sam Bankman Freed and prosecutors are saying he deserves 40 to 50 years in prison for the FTX fraud. I wanted your reaction to this, how it's from Reuters. It says prosecutors are saying that Sam Bankman Freed should spend between 40 and 50 years in prison after being convicted for stealing, $8 billion from customers of his now bankrupt FTX cryptocurrency exchange. So he was found guilty in November on seven counts of fraud and conspiracy. And now federal prosecutors are asking that he get 40 to 50 years in prison. Do you think that's? Well, again, I didn't, I obviously didn't invest in this guy. If I'd seen him coming at me on this sidewalk, I would have walked across the street to get away from them. He's, he's such a scurvy. Look at guy. But, but again, you got to ask yourself the question. Suppose he stole 50 or 100,000 bucks from you. Suppose you would cash out your 401k because you would, you'd seen the ad on the Super Bowl with him and Tom Brady and Shaq and the rest of them. And you decide to give him your money and, and he ripped, and he, and he stole the money. Do you think, would you want him in prison for a good long stretched grace? No, I would. I would. I want him in prison just on general principles that he said he was going to give a billion dollars to Biden this year. That's an excellent point. And it's actually something that the federal prosecutors brought up because I think a lot of people think of Tom Brady and they think of these really, really wealthy influential people who were involved with Sam Bangman Freed. But the federal prosecutors said in Manhattan, thousands of everyday people, including residents of war, torn and unstable countries, had entrusted their nest eggs to FTX. So similar to Bernie Madoff, yeah, there were people who were very wealthy who would survive afterwards and were going to be fine, but there were also people who put their entire life savings into this guy. Yeah, I always read the stories when they, when one of these, these type of guys gets busted and, you know, the, the victims, I like to, you know, read and understand what kind of people got victimized and when the, you know, the, the suffering that they're undergoing. And they, this guy, this guy was a very bad person, Samuel Bangman Freed. He ripped off a lot. I mean, eight billion dollars. He had to have ripped off, you know, hundreds of thousands of people. His lawyers are saying he deserves five to six years in prison. They think that would be appropriate. And just to refresh people's memory, he's the son of two Stanford law professors, a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. And he worked on Wall Street before writing a boom in the values of digital assets, such as Bitcoin. Oh, he was a, he was a big contributor to Democrats too. And his parents, he's a good boy. That's an aggravating, what do they call that, an aggravating circumstance. They have some, some phrase for that in, in sentencing. Well, well, how are the other part of it too that I think we'll, we'll probably factor in for the judge. The judge in this case is Judge Lewis Kaplan. He's a US district judge. I think the fact that, and this is what prosecutors are saying, he never has really admitted that he did anything wrong. And every time you see one of these headlines. And I know you follow this, how he's so I'm not telling you anything you don't know, but in the New York Post, there's always headlines about how, oh, they don't have the, the dietary, you know, meals that he needs. He's a vegan or a vegan, whatever you call it. You don't get the sense that this is someone who really understands just how badly he messed up. Instead, he's like always playing the victim. And so are all of his, you know, his, his circle. Did he buy his parents, his parents who never got married and have different last names and they, they live on the Stanford campus in Palo Alto? Didn't he buy them like a $13 million house in Bermuda? Yes, prosecutors said Bankman Fried also used customer funds to buy luxury real estate in the Bahamas. Oh, the Bahamas, excuse me. Yes. And to donate, as you pointed out, to US politicians who might support cryptocurrency friendly regulations. Yes. And he, he, in his organization, he had one guy, I think it was from Central Massachusetts who was in charge of donating to Republicans. But, you know, as, as these things go, I mean, the Republicans got 10, 15% of the take, which is better than they get at a lot of the Wall Street investment banks. But, you know, it still doesn't make up for, for the, for the Democrat torrent of cash. Absolutely. Howie, that's it for me. Thank you very much. All right. Eight, four, four, five hundred, forty-two, forty-two, eight, four, five hundred, forty-two, forty-two. This is a great present for them for Father's Day, for Mother's Day, for Christmas. Kelly's, it's the same, I've talked to people who've been to Kelly's and I called them today actually, Jeff. I said, "We're going to have a really good deal for you." Kelly's roast beef gift certificates for the Florida locations, and they were very excited about it. You guys are doing very well down here, aren't you? Yeah, we've been received very, very well down here. Obviously, we have a built-in audience of all the folks that are down here from New England and from Massachusetts and Boston specifically. But we're spreading out and getting the word out, letting everybody know what kind of great product we have, letting them know that it's made to order every single time, fresh hamburgers, chicken sandwiches. Of course, the roast beef that everybody knows and loves and is growing up on, whether it's a rare beach or, you know, soggis or anyplace else up there, but we are able to deliver that product down here. See, food comes in twice a week from Ipswich, Massachusetts. Roast beef cooked on site daily, fresh hamburgers, K.M. hot dogs. It's the entire Kelly's experience, but you're in the Sunshine State. Man, I wish you were on this side. You're making me hungry, just talking about it. The clam chowder, the fried clam. Everything at Kelly's is great. I used to go to the one in Natick at Jordan's furniture. We had an exchange student, and we took her there once, and she always begged to go back there every week. She loved the clam chowder. I mean, everybody's got their own favorite thing about Kelly's roast beef. Absolutely. I mean, my personal favorites, the roast beef sandwich, because you can't go wrong, but I mean, the steak and cheese is great. You know, you mentioned the fried clams. You can't get those anything, anything like those, anyplace else in the west coast of Florida. I don't know what you have over there, but over here, there's nothing else like it. No, it's hard to get the full belly clams anywhere south of the Mason Dickson line. Again, this is the Kelly's roast beef experience, the one that everybody has grown up with in the New England area and the Boston area. It's been around since 1951, as the spot says, and it's just great, and it's long overdue, and it's filling a real hole in the culinary scene in Florida. And so, again, these gift certificates for Kelly's roast beef are only good for the Florida locations, which are Sarasota, Naples, and South Pasadena. And you're opening in Fort Myers shortly, Jeff Howard? Yeah, we're projecting out to open in Fort Myers this May. We have another one coming to another one to Naples, one in parish, and more to come after that. You know, come up and visit us. That's a great deal. Two in Naples. That's pretty good. Two in Naples, absolutely. It's getting to be like the near North Shore of Boston, in other words. It's getting there, absolutely. It's a great place to be. It's a beautiful town and plenty of good guests, so we're happy to be down there. All right, it's great. Even if you're not down there, if you know someone who's in the area, the Naples Sarasota, South Pasadena, and they're expanding into Fort Myers, Kelly's roast beef, the Florida locations, a $50 gift certificate for just $25 order now, and HowieCarShow.com, click on store. Thank you, Jeff Howard. And get over here to Palm Beach in Broward counties, and Martin County. I'm HowieCar. (upbeat music) (upbeat music)
