8VNews, I'm Ben Tompins. The judge has ruled his result had been changes in the prosecution of the Georgia election interference case against former President Trump. At Donahue Explains. Judge Scott McAfee ruled District Attorney Fani Willis can step aside, or special prosecutor Nathan Wade must be removed. Willis and Wade had a romantic relationship. Wade later offered his resignation, saying he was doing so in the interest of democracy, and to quickly move the case forward. Willis talked about the relationship during a hearing last month. "We would have brutal arguments about the fact that I am your equal." McAfee did not find the relationship was a conflict of interest, but said the allegations created an appearance of impropriety that infected the prosecution team. I'm Ed Donahue. Former Vice President Mike Pence has told Fox News he will not be endorsing Trump in this year's election. He says that should come as no surprise. In the Gaza Strip, the first ship to use a new sea route from Cyprus is delivering aid. Meantown President Biden's backing Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer after his call for new elections in Israel. Schumer yesterday blistered Israel's leader. "I'm in Mr Netanyahu, has lost his way." Saying Israel has lost global support as Palestinian casualties grow during its offensive in Gaza. "He made a good speech, and I think he expressed a serious concern, shared not only by him but by many Americans." The president's backing is the latest sign. The US relationship with Israel is heading toward a fracture amid the Gaza war. The latest challenge is Israel's plan to go after Hamas in Rafa, where Palestinians have clustered to avoid fighting elsewhere. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and the US insist Israel must have a clear plan to minimize civilian harm. "We've not yet seen such a plan." Sagar Magone Washington. In Ukraine, officials say at least 16 killed in a Russian missile attack in Odessa, one strike hitting homes, a second first responders. This is AP News. Nissan and Honda say they're going to work together to play catch-up in electric vehicles and auto intelligence technology. And Apple has agreed to pay $490 million to settle allegations at misled investors about iPhone sales in China. My captain has details. CEO Tim Cook signaled the iPhones released in September 2018 were off to a good start in China, one of the company's biggest markets. But in January 2019, Cook issued a warning that Apple's revenue for the just-completed quarter would fall $9 billion below management's forecast. That triggered a 10% plunge in Apple's stock price, wiping out more than $70 billion in shareholder wealth. Apple has vehemently denied Cook deceived investors.
