7. Gameweek 6: In Palmer we trust
Gameweek 6 is done and we have 32 weeks left to go!
How was gameweek 6 for you? Did you have Palmer? Should he be added to the list of captain obvious or are 6 goals not enough? We look at the the gameweek.... it was a bit tricky...Man Utd was the biggest dissapointment this gameweek... how do you feel about Fernandes? Sancho? McNeil? Delap? Captain obvious did not deliver and it is a gentle reminder that no one scores for 38 gameweeks in a row
We look at the gameweek, go over the stats and our league table (spoiler... we do NOT have a new league leader!) before looking forward to gameweek 7 and hoping to build on progress made last gameweek
Here's hoping to a better gameweek!

Study eight weeks to go, let the games begin It's a fantasy league Gotta make some noise with it, think I got my team assembled Ready to take the crown I'll dominate this league I'll tear it down to the ground I've got my strikers up top, ready to score the goals Mid-field, mind strung in the show, control the flow Defense have washed and it's all won't let 'em through Go, keep on with the gloves, gonna save me too Study eight weeks to go, the rule is game I'll wash it, take faith with my fantasy team Go, rush to the top, no one can stop me Go, go, go, go, go, go, come, make 'em drop Hello, everybody, and welcome to 38 weeks to go Your weekly podcast about fantasy football Game week six is done, it was not a great week for me How was it for you, I'm really happy Game week six is done They're 32 weeks left to go, so there's still a chance to improve So let's look at my team So I got a mighty 38 points, which is really nothing And the biggest disappointment was Bruno Fernandez Minus two points, like, I don't even know what to say But that was not fun, the best performance my team That played was Ollie Watkins, who got 11 My captain was Holland, who got four Then I had a wood, who got two This DS2, Barnes 2, Morgan Rogers got seven Mazrui got zero, which is better than Minus 2 I guess Robertson got two, why do you already help me at the back With nine, and I got one On my bank, I got nine points from Gordon And eight points from Anderson That was really painful, especially when you get nothing like I did I am hoping that you guys have had better luck than I have So, what lessons did I learn? The first one is that I have kept Bruno Fernandez in my team For too long, so I immediately got rid of him, immediately And I replaced him with Palmer I had gotten in Harvey Barnes because of his streak But I am going to keep him, so I have to let Gordon go And then I brought in Dwight McNeil from Everton I am happy that I moved from Isaac to Watkins That has been a very good move so far Fernandez, it's just really luck My United seemed good at the back, and now they are looking like a complete liability Robertson and Liverpool's defence looked good But it seems like Conate is the man to have a net Liverpool defence I knew Arsenal were not going to be keeping green sheets for long But I didn't expect it to go against Leicester But the biggest lesson for me was that I should be more open to looking towards Other alternatives, other than Holland And then last season, I had come up with a theory And the theory was this, and this is to do with Holland One of them was actually does not perform in big games And then the other was that he doesn't do well When the defenders are as big as him And Newcastle tend to have defenders that are as big as him Game week 6 was rather different from the others in that there were two clean sheets Meaning that very few people had clean sheets Unless you had scoring defenders Now, the two clean sheets came I guess in unexpected fashion Spurs don't keep clean sheets but they beat Manu 3 new Rottingham Forest lost to Fulham 1 new And I guess we can start off with the most disappointing match of the weekend Spurs 3, my United 0 This match makes me raise the question When will we accept that Manchester United are not a top 14? We keep cheating Manchester United Like they are Arsenal or Manchester City But the real truth of the game Is that they are a mid-table team And number 6 to 9 team That's what we should be expecting from them But we keep cheating their fixtures like They are holier than thou In our minds, if we cannot adjust Our expectations are Manchester United to be like that of Brighton We will be closer to the truth Because wherever we have it right now It's probably too high Their defending was horrible That first game, I mean that first half should have been more Rottingham was just a better team And you see the thing about Rottingham is that You know that they're going to press They're going to try and press you And make you make mistakes And they don't really do anything else well But Manchester United, it's like they don't have a scouting division Anyway, I'm going too much into it But they don't defend well And they were exposed poorly in this game Or greatly in this game And the most interesting thing is that Brandon Johnson has gone full goals and full games He's having a quietly good season He should be the number one pick For you guys in the Tottenham team Mickie van de Ven should be your second pick Because he seems to pop up Every now and then with an assist I mean, we've had six game weeks, I think he's got two assists And he's a Morroding centre-baka at this point For those of you who never watched Kaka play That first assist that he gave Is literally what Kaka used to do That was the strength of Kaka He would run straight at you And you wouldn't know what to do Fernandes got sent off in this game It was a bit of a weak sending off And the Premier League agreed So for those of you who still have him in your team The red card was rescinded And he will be available After Johnson scored Kulusevsky scored And Solanki scored as well And now he's looking to be a good Fad striker If you need one Assists came from Johnson, Sar and van de Ven Like I previously stated Watching the Manchester United game It makes you feel like They do not have a good manager They wanted to counter but it doesn't seem like They knew how they were going to do that I would be very surprised If this man lusts This season They haven't yet put up some form of performance Which makes you feel like you understand what the identity is And then when their players leave Like look at Sancho He's had four assists now It shows that this manager doesn't know how to get the best out of what he has I think the only positive of that Spurs game For Manchester United is that it's over They really didn't do anything I guess Rashford tried But I don't know It's not a very encouraging performance from them Kulusevsky had three bonus points Van de Ven had two And Johnson had one I'm now beginning to feel like I got off Kulusevsky too early There were two high performing games this week And this is Arsenal vs Leicester 4-2 And Chelsea vs Brighton 4-2 Starting with Brighton This game Has shaped the weekend Because Palmer got four goals Four goals In one half Sancho had two assists Madeweke had one And Eclass Jackson had the other This is a kind of game that could have been six or seven If Chelsea finished better Baleba was really impressive for Brighton And Eugenio got on his core sheet Brighton looked like they did not know how to defend They had such a high line of defence That it looked like they were exposed with almost every attack With such slow defenders at the centre I don't even understand why they were doing something like that Maybe we were watching Brighton's weakness Unfold right before us They can't high-press Or rather hold a high line because of their slow defenders And they might be weak against teams That will be having faster players So this makes me think A much up against Crystal Palace Or Bournemouth would be very interesting Those four goals by Palmer made me make an instant decision To put him into my team He's getting into that territory for Salah And Haland But I would say more in the Haland category Because when Haland is performing There's no one else on that team that you can replace And in Chelsea it seems to be the same thing There's no Palmer alternative in Chelsea So far in Liverpool Diaz has been an able replacement Or alternative And Jota is replacement B And because of that I think he is more of a Haland type Than a Salah type Palmer of course got three bonus points Balabar got two And Sancho got one Balabar was really impressive it must be said But also Chelsea made so many mistakes It was disgusting Arsenal played Leicester And they won 4-2 James Justin For Leicester scored two goals I don't even remember the last time he scored These two goals and the second one was a beautiful colour His goal and Dwight McNeil's goal and Bournemouth Are for me in my favourite three goals of the weekend What are yours? I didn't watch the Arsenal game live But some of my friends did And all of them Were messaging me telling me the same thing Leicester have a keeper on them And so I went to watch the highlights And I didn't quite see what they saw But Looking at the stats he made 13 saves 13 that's quite a high score like he won one of the match Shows you that he really Single-handedly put them out And also it must be said Arsenal scored in the 90+ minute for both goals So he really tried his best to keep them out When you see Havert's matinelli and Trossad scoring It makes you think "Huh" Which one of these guys should I have? Trossad is a good differential Because not too many will have him And his cheaper than Havert's Matinelli seems to have found something Is this real? Timba had the assists Matinelli had another assist Trossad had another assist So that was his points colour For Leicester Bournemouth has another assist And Diddy had another assist Matinelli had the three bonus points Trossad had two And Sucker had one Now if you're a soccer holder Are you moving to Palma? Apart from that you could say Matinelli not winning is a disappointment Especially for us talent holders But it was a great job by Newcastle 1-1 I guess another disappointing result could be Everton 2, Crystal Palace 1 But that is not a fair assessment Because Everton have been more unlucky than bad And Crystal Palace have been bad Moving on to top performing players of the weekend As I previously said there are only two clean sheets So starting off with the defence When looking at the goalkeepers Vicario from Tottenham Is a top with six Number two Is Lennon from Fulham with five The two clean sheets make sense Hamansa who made 13 saves But four Onanna And Pope tied for fourth and fifth With three When he comes to performing defenders Number one James Justin Who's got two goals He finished with 12 Van de Ven Who had the goal in the assist I mean Who had the clean sheet in the assist Finished with 11 Gay Vadiol And Alpnuri Round up to top five Finishing with nine Each Other defenders who performed well Were Anderson Robinson Conate And Howard Bellis Anderson had eight Robinson and Conate Tied with Bellis with seven Barcio Romero At six Midfield was king And I'm just going to treat everybody who got Ten points or above Palma was the best He finished with 25 points Dwight McNeil Finished with 15 points Matinelli 13 points Trossard 12 points Baleba 12 points Johnson 11 Colossevsky 11 Cook Saba Suchak Ten When it comes to forwards They're up finished with 12 What can finish to 11? Evan Nielsen Finished with nine Raul Finished with nine Habits And Solanki Round up to top five Tied with six Moving on To their stats Spaz beating Manchester United They have now scored more goals At all suffered Than Manchester United have This season They accumulated An extra of 4.59 Which means that they have accumulated more Expected goals Than Manchester United have So far, this season Spaz And Liverpool have now scored more goals At all suffered than Manchester United have A funny stat So Anderson finally beat somebody this season And that was Crystal Palace 2-1 And that means Over the last 15 games Everton have gotten more points Than Manchester United Bumu scored Within the first minute Of a game again for the third week in a row And that means That Brentford have become the first team In Premier League history To score A goal In under a minute In the first three consecutive games Cole Palmer scored four goals in a half That's the first time that has been done In Premier League history He did that in 19 minutes And 57 seconds You'd think that would be the record? But no, the record belongs to Jermaine Defoe He scored Four goals within 17 minutes And 15 seconds Sorry, and 56 seconds When they beat Wigan 91 And let me tell you something Jermaine Defoe that season was at trap So With those four goals Palmer joins A special Group of people who have scored four goals In one half Sergio Aguero has done that twice Solsia has done that once And Jermaine Defoe has done that once In the Premier League Four goals have been scored on 41 separate occasions But only five times has it been done In one half Palmer is closing in on two records Right now He is Hi, can you believe this? To be Chelsea's top Hatrick Getta Tied He's only been there for like two seasons He's already tied Can you know, Chelsea's a scam All these drug buzz and lumpads You'd think that they would have scored many But no Three Three hat tricks Like when he scores his next one He's a big Chelsea's top hat tricks scorer Eddie's second season I don't even know if that's embarrassing or funny I don't even know But it's something The last time somebody scored four goals In the, I guess, what would be the Premier League But then it's not But the old division Was when Barry Beat Sheffield United 7-1 Charlie Sager scored four goals In the first half And that was in November 1904 So the Premier League didn't exist So Premier League record it is Manchester City considered a penalty To Anthony Gordon He was tackled for the penalty Since the beginning of last season He has earned Newcastle seven penalties The next Player since then Hasone got in three I'm really feeling bad about my decision now Maybe I should bring in Gordon back for heavy burns Ipswich Are on an unlikely For match and beaten run John Duran scoring streak is over Five teams haven't won a game Up until now And this is the most Amount of teams that haven't won a game since 1955-56 season Cold Palmer has now scored Ten Of his first ten penalties Which means he is now second In most penalties Scored without missing Number one is there Turre Who has 11 So if he scores his next penalty Cold Palmer will be tied With the opportunity for being Or having scored the most penalties Without missing Now I know some of you would think But what about even Tony? He has a great penalty record He also reached ten in a row But his 11th one was saved By Cope In the 22-23 season Raul Jiminath has scored All eight of his Primelik penalties So he could be chasing this So let's also watch that as the season goes His goal Got him to become A player who has got 50 goals And that makes him The second Mexican in Pemelik history To reach 50 Pemelik goals Looking at our table The highest points this week Were got him by Angula Naiou Kijana Imama Manager of Back to Business They got 98 points Which saw them rise to number 10 And The luck that this manager had was that Son did not play Son was their captain Son did not play Palma was their vice captain And let us be a very important lesson to you all Setting up your vice captain It's just as important to setting up your captain Palma got 50 points as his captain Then he has Eze, Luis Diaz, and Mito Maniz midfield Who gave him 2-2-2 At the back he had Collins, Virgil van Dyke Who gave him 2-2 Then he had Robinson who gave him 7 Allison Becker for Liverpool Who gave him 2 And then up top he had De Laap from Ipswich Good choice, 12 points Watkins, 11 points And habits, 6 points So it is possible to succeed without Holland Well done That was a great way to win the week We have a manager called Regan Orina He is the highest rank riser this week Moving a total Of 181 points Sorry, positions in our league Regan or Regan got 93 points Which saw them rise all the way To 16th place From number 197 Talk about climbing up Ladders I thought I was feeling bad when I had 15 points on the bench But it seems like somebody beat me Nicolas Padija, 3-N-N-M3 Left 20 points on the bench Paul de Sanne, inside the news as well Manager of Mike FC Mr. Mike Moturi Used his wildcard and got a whopping 40 points It sucks when he is a wildcard And he doesn't go, was planned Manager, almost one guy is not having a great time So fine, fantasy For the last 5 weeks in a row Just seeing red arrows Maybe this next week will change things for him Manager by the name Elicit Frost Or that's a team name His name is Brian Ibrahim Well, 2 million positions this week Goodness, not doing very well Just as Regan rose 181 positions Somebody had to fall And somebody who fell the most Is Malik United He dropped 181 positions Paul de Sanne It's always next week In case you're wondering How does one fall 181 points? Well, I have the answer He got 18 points this week 18, the team doesn't even look bad But it's just not A good week for him Ok, let me just compose myself Ok, let me just compose myself Ok, let me just compose myself Ok, let me just compose myself Ok, let me just compose myself Ok, so Captain was Holland He got 4 points Stryka, our knee 1 point Then he got Kudos 1 point Bruno finished negative 2 points It will be 3 points Sakka, 3 points Unkunku, 1 point Pedro Porru, 5 Consa, 1 Raticash, 0 Ryah, 1 So you see, it's not a bad team But sometimes you just have the role players In good teams And on the bench Isak was 0 Akke, 0 Rmafi, 0 So that's how he ended up with a grand total of 18 points With no transfers And now we're doing our weekly check-in With our bottom player Mr. Dawn Clinton, Dawn Clinton Is still managing to hover At 100 points At game week 6 He is now Last by 107 points As in second last has 207 points He has 100 points flat After playing consistently Every game week Now he got 28 points But he also lost 28 points So, yeah Sometimes doing nothing is better But then again Our Mr. Licit got 18 points And he didn't make any transfers So, I'm not sure which one is better than which one The team with the lowest Team value is Namaari On each body chart, Magdeguo His team value is 98.7 That means everybody's team is just losing value It's gonna be tricky for him to make transfers As in just this week he's lost 0.5 in value That's painful Sobolvich FC Has been rising, just green arrows This is his fifth week With green arrows All across Suleiman FC is still having an impressive week He gained an impressive 39 points Thanks to his substitutions this week Well done to you Mr. Suleiman If anybody knows him Please let me not like to interview him at some point I just can't get a hold of anybody The most unique captain choice this week Was Emil Smith Rowe Children by Hector Orembo Our manager of the month Is James Victor Who got 216 points in this month Angula Naio Kijana Imama Back to business is number two With 214 points Mr. Suleiman is number three With 213 points Sobolvich FC is number four With 211 points And Brian Marilla Is number five With 210 points The average point For our game week For our group Was 57.9 So if you got below 57 points You're doing worse than the rest of the group The most captain player in our group Was Haldund 60% of us captained him Number two Was Sola With 28% of us captaining him Number three Was Workins With 4% Captaining him Number four was Palmer Which was a two-way tie with Saka 2% of us Captained him In terms of ownership Of players in our group Their top ten are Number 186% of us have him Number two Palmer 60% of us have him Move Sola 58% of us have him Emma Smithrow 52% of us have him Luis Diaz 46% of us have him Ryan 42% of us have him Trent 42% of us have him Along with Rogers What kind 36% of us have him Saka 32% of us have him So those are the most Commonly chosen players In our group If you want to make Headway in the table You might look To get others Who are not Those players Now I'm going to Retreat the most Transferred players In our group And those are Boman Brought in by 7 Saka Brought in by 5 Havats brought in by 5 Smithrow And Luis Diaz brought in by Three along with Workins and Gabriel Brought in by three players Most popular players Out Number one Is Esak With six players Removing him Sala Five Pedro And Diego Srotar Removed by five Each Smithrow And Isaiah Two players Removed them Along with Robinson Adueke And Munoz So those are the most Transferred players In and out Of our league Globally The most selected player Was Holland The most Captain Player was Holland The most Vice Captain Player was Sala When looking At the most Brought in Player this week Number one Is Palma Me included Five hundred And sixty eight Thousand people Brought him in Number two Bomo Two hundred and ninety Three thousand Brought him in MacNeil Two hundred and Twenty thousand Brought him in Jackson Two hundred and Thirty six Thousand Brought And Luis Diaz One hundred and Ninety one thousand Brought Globally Joe Pedro Three hundred and Seventy thousand Adun Isaac Two hundred and Sixty three thousand Adun Isaiah Two hundred and Twenty two Thousand Adun Sala One hundred and Seventy two Thousand Adun Bruno Fernandez And one of those One hundred and fifty nine thousand Adun And Then Brought him Luis Diaz Because Like I said earlier Luis Diaz And Sala so far Have been getting Around the same points But there's no Alternative in Chelsea to Palma Now The top performing team Got a hundred and Forty two points And you know As soon as Palma scored The goals that he did I was like I'm sure Somebody's triple captain And Lo and behold Number one In the World got a hundred and Forty two points And his triple captain Was Palma Seventy five points If you triple captain That Is a beautiful use Over triple captain So This manager has Chelsea goalkeeper Sanchez who got two Pedro Polo who got five Dina who got zero Vadiol and Anderson came off the bench Oh That's so painful To give him Two points And eight points Respectively Oh That's had to be so much Because I had 15 points On the bench Anyway Direct McNeil had Fifteen Have he balanced Had two Bailey has five Palma Triple captain had Seventy five Mr Sala Got ten And his striker Was what kills Ben White And Isaac didn't play For him And so there he got off To be brought on Vadiol and Anderson Talk about luck So If you're looking For the first time You're looking For the first time You're For the first time You're looking For the first time You're looking For the first time You're looking For the first time You're looking For Attacking returns I jumped into them I jumped into Palma I can't afford Not to have a minima So, after forest They have Liverpool Newcastle Manchester United And Arsenal Goodness Those are difficult Fixtures So they're Entering What is the difficult Patch of the season And This will Define their season Going forward Like what we should be Expecting from them Will they be challenging The Olympics Or Europe Or none Of the above These next five fixtures For Chelsea Will tell us who they are First, on the other hand Have way easier fixtures They have Crystal Palace Leicester West Ham Newcastle And then Arsenal This is probably The real marquee game Of the Weekend Brighton versus Tottenham Two actually good teams And they will be Free flowing Attacking Football I do not expect a clean sheet In this game This is a kind of game Which could go for two Three, two, four, one Or alternatively Just one, zero But I don't think they have The one, zeros and them For now So For Brighton I would jump on Balabar To just see if this is Form Maybe he's picking it up Me, Tuma And Just in your First pass You have the One, two, three Two, three Two, three Two, three Two, three In your first pass You have Solanki Koulusevsky Bernard Johnson In reverse order Bernard Johnson should be Your first pick from that team Then Koulusevsky And then Solanki Brighton will have Newcastle, Wolves, Liverpool, Manchester City And Bournemouth So their fixtures are about to get More challenging Spurs on the other hand Will have West Ham There's a palace Aston Villa Ipswich And Man City So it's also mixed back They're difficult fixtures in there And with them They're really unpredictable So anything can go When it comes to captain choices Let's start In Liverpool versus Crystal Palace You have Salah as a potential captain And you have Diaz And Jota as well Astono versus Southampton You have Thaka, Throsad, Havocs Wolves versus Brentford Boomo could be a captain choice Leicester versus Bournemouth I can't see anybody Man City versus Fulham Captain Obvious, Mr. Holland Now West Ham versus Ipswich Bo going could be a very Differential choice as a captain A captain, all the less Everton Newcastle Unless you want to gamble on God or no Harvey Barnes I think their better choice is elsewhere Aston Villa versus Man United Watkins could get something In this game Chelsea versus Nottingham Forest Palma, Sancho, Jackson Brighton versus Spurs Brandon Johnson and Scott Foynaro You would be a Differential captain Kulesevski Solanki From the Brighton end I don't see anything yet Those are the most In quotes obvious captains I would choose Depending on what I'm trying to do And yeah, that's about it Apart from that, the main thing I wanted to Remember is that this Champions League this week So make your team decisions late So make your team decisions late [beep]
