It's the one day of the year, the who's who of the Hacorama get together to roast each other for incompetence and corruption. Then on Monday, it's back to the usual grift. As far as material anything goes, as far as comedic quality, anything goes. Of course, no non-beautiful person or wannabe Paul would dare desire to sit through the whole breakfast. So here are the highlights. Good morning, everyone, and happy St. Patrick's Day. Sorry for my tidiness. I got stuck in the bus lane. If the groundhog sees the shadow, that means six more weeks of winter. But did you know, if a mayor sees the governor and lieutenant governor at an event in your town, that means six more days until your community gets a new migrant shelter. My staff told me that at some point I should do a national political joke. So here is my national political joke. Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson. So a little history. The first St. Patrick's breakfast was in 1909. Think about it. Back then, women were treated as second-class citizens. Foreigners were discriminated against, abortion was illegal, or as Mike Johnson calls it "the good old days." Also on the national scene, maybe you've noticed Donald Trump. Donald Trump. Donald Trump. Come on, I just got Donald Trump. Okay, ladies and gentlemen, from the mean streets of Salem and Arlington, they're here, the Dunqueens. Good morning, Matt Boston, to Ben, to Matt, to Tom, just reminding everybody, now Massachusetts runs on Dunqueen! How seriously, how great is it to be a Dunqueen? We get to run everything. I mean, yeah, like the MBTA, people love you for that. Consider yourself lucky that the sight of Mara Healy sporting an orange track suit and fuzzy bucket hat can't be turned into audio.
