Trump's Cruel and Unusual Punishment plus SCOTUS hands Texas a win | 3.19.24 - The Howie Carr Show Hour 1

If they don't know the Eighth Amendment, they can't say, "Gee, this whole Trump thing looks a lot like cruel and unusual punishment!" Then, join Grace and Howie to celebrate a Texas win at the Supreme Court, at least for now.

The president has done everything that he can to deal with, to deal with oil, obviously, and lowering the actions that he took led to lowering gas prices. What is the reason you're requesting alone today? Wait for it? Gasoline. Live from the Matthews Brothers Studios. Today was a very good day for Donald Trump. And, you know, it's an embarrassment. All of this, I mean, Funny Willis has hung on, but this case is going nowhere very quickly. We don't want to say this out loud, but I'm going to say it. Trump is smarter than us. I mean, wait, what is this? Bizarro word? You must marvel at how somebody that stupid is that smart. I feel like my old self again. Totally inadequate. Completely insecure, paranoid, neurotic, it's a pleasure. Rump swabs, hacks, and moon bats beware. It's... [Music] Howie car. Eight, four, four, five hundred, forty-two, forty-two. So they want to talk about a bloodbath. You know, I just told Grace, I wrote my column, say you want a real bloodbath? We're on the fourth anniversary of 15 days to flatten the curve. And I got the... I got the documents, I pulled them all, and I have all these baker sound cuts about 15 days to flatten the curve. That was on March 15th. It took a fact, March 17th, St. Patrick's Day, 2020. You know, when the 15 days ended, it ended in part like a year and a half later, but it didn't really end until May 11th, 2023. There's a lot at stake here. Yeah, there's... that's like 11 or 1250 days. I got... I wrote it down, and my... I googled it. How many days was that? But it's over... over 1,100 days, 15 days to flatten the curve. That was a bloodbath. That was a bloodbath. Eight, four, four, five hundred, forty-two, forty-two. I will... we'll be talking about that a little bit later on in the... in the show. But there's... there's so much... so much to get to before the... before we get to that. Oh, people are already liking the poll question. That's good. I'm glad it's... I'll give you a little hint. It's the US Senate. There are a lot of loathsome characters in the US Senate. Start thinking about which one you dislike the most. That's... that's my... that's my tease for the poll question. Eight, four, four, five hundred, forty-two, forty-two. Yesterday, a little busy day, and I didn't get to this. I... you know, I was thinking about... I was certainly thinking about it all day after the story broke on Sunday. Now, if you saw this, I'm holding up the front page of the New York Post from yesterday. Border bomb bust, Lebanese migrant, admits being... has... has been a terrorist who wanted to target New York City. That seems like a pretty big story, doesn't it? I mean, this is like from a news release from ICE in the Border Patrol. And yet, somehow it didn't get any play, none whatsoever. On the Sunday night newscast, even though it broke Sunday afternoon, nothing on the Monday morning newscast, and only NBC picked up for a whopping 45 seconds last night, 45 seconds. He's a nice-looking young man. His name is Basil Basil, B-A-S-E-L, middle name B-A-S-S-E-L, a body. A body. Basil Basil a body. And he's come over and he's just... you know, he wants to be the next... he wants to be the next San Bernardino shooter. He wants to be the next Boston Marathon bomber. And Joe Biden says... Joe Biden says, "Come on down. Come on down." But meanwhile, Donald J. Trump, who wouldn't have let this guy come into the country, or millions of other criminals and welfare-dependent third-world grifters, he can't even get bond. And Lattisha James, the Attorney General of the State of New York, says that if he doesn't come up with the bond to appeal his case, his fraud case, in which there are no victims, that she will start grabbing his property wherever it is. And as somebody emailed me today, wherever it is, that could mean Palm Beach. She could try to go after Mar-a-Lago. I don't think she's going to get anywhere, but she could go after it. I mean, this is... you talk about third-world. I mean, this is ridiculous. What about the eighth amendment to the U.S. Constitution? Cruel and unusual punishment? I know this is a civil case, but isn't it cruel and unusual punishment to take away a half a billion dollars from a guy when there are no victims in the crime? Not to mention, it's a bill of a tinder. You know, and again, I know it's a civil case, not a criminal case, but a bill of a tinder is when you direct a law at a single person. That's BS. And they wonder why no one will join the military anymore. What would you be fighting for other than a corrupt regime that treats you as a second-class citizen? Basil Basil just wants to do the jobs Americans don't want to do. You mean like bombing New York City or bombing somewhere in between if the bus gets a flat tire? No, boss. What am I saying? I'm so old-fashioned. He's not leaving on a bus. He's leaving on an airplane. I keep coming back this one day I was leaving to go back to Boston from Florida and for some reason I couldn't find my driver's license. And I was flipping out because I knew I couldn't get on the plane if I didn't have the driver's license. I found that of course. But these illegal aliens just go on so they don't care. They don't care. Has Basil Basil a body's mother been reached for comment? Yeah, she did a good boy. A very good boy. Yeah, we handle this. That's the Arabic dialect we translated it from. By the way, today is primary election day in I think four states, including the Sunshine State of Florida. I voted today for Donald J. Trump. I'm a now a registered Republican. There are no open primaries in Florida. So I had to switch from independent to Republican and everything was cool. And you know, Florida is the third biggest state in the union. It's the fastest of the second fastest growing state after Texas. I'm not sure which but it's a huge state population-wise. And everything is going to get done today. And it was very smooth. I walked in, I showed him my card, my ID card from the the elections commissioner. And the woman, the nice woman said, "Do you have an ID with a picture and a signature?" I said, "As a matter of fact, they do. I have a driver's license." So I handed her to my Florida driver's license. And she took it and she wrote it down and she checked me off and then she said, "Okay, I'm going to turn it around that I had to sign in on a computer." And then she gave me the little sticker. I had to take the sticker up and then I had to sign in again. And I had to make initials. And then I went and I voted. There were only two elections. There was a primary election for president. I voted for Donald J. Trump. And there was a local town council election. And I voted for the guy who had a slogan that I appreciated. Residents first. That means New Yorkers second. So I voted for residents first, even though the guy had three names. I generally don't vote for people with three names, not on the ballot. Everybody's got three names, basically, like Basil, Basil, a body. But usually most people go by two names, first name, last name. But I voted for him. So, but it was totally smooth. The results will be known instantaneously. The polls were closed tonight at seven o'clock in the Eastern probably at two last names. What do you want me to do? Oh, this guy only had one last name, but he had, he put three names on the ballot. I was thinking there was a guy at the Herald and he had kind of a waspied name. But I don't think he, I think he wondered if he, you know, he'd be found out as being not a wasp at the globe. So, so he, so he, he went over to the globe and he gave himself a third name. The first time I saw it, I said, actually, no, there were, there were guys that worked here at the paper named that had this name, but he, he didn't have a middle name or not on his byline. Then the guy, I figured the guy had just decided to pass. And he had a, you know, it was just a mediocre career. But you know, he cashed a paycheck for 20 years. 844 542 42. Maybe that's what I should have done. Howard Lewis car. You think I could have passed? I don't think so. But it's just as well. 844 542 42. Yeah. Peter Navarro reported for his prison sentence today, Banana Republican deed. Yeah, in in Miami, Miami, he, he, he declined to, to appear before a committee. I think it was the January 6th committee, a star chamber committee. And so they're going to throw him in jail for four months and find him 10,000 bucks. Now, at the same time, Hunter Biden has refused to testify publicly. He's not a convicted felon yet. Devon Archer, his business partner, who is a convicted felon, convicted of stealing about 60 million from some Indian tribe in a phony baloney bond deal, he refused to testify. Nothing's happening to him. I get, again, he's on it. He's ticketed for the Bureau of prisons or maybe he's already in there. But, but you know, nothing happens to these people. But Navarro, is Navarro a threat? Navarro was a professor. I think he went to, I think he's from Tufts. I, I, I've talked to him a few times. He, you know, we, he's been on the show. He, he is, he is not a, he is not a menace to society. He is not someone you're going to see walking around a flop house in, in, in Rockland or Marlboro. 844, 542, 42, 781, the Democrats can't steal Florida. So there's no reason for prolonged accounting. But, but my point is, if, if Florida, a huge state can handle this with no headaches whatsoever, why can't every other state, state do it? And it's, the answer is obvious. They don't want to do it. They want to steal the elections. They want to have all the nonsense going on. You can get an absentee ballot in Florida, you know, you know, but there's one to hitch. You have to ask for it. You got to, you got to make the request. And by the way, I, I was independent until last month. All I didn't have to, I didn't have to go through, jump through hoops like I would have had to in Massachusetts to switch my registration before a vote. I just put it, I just put a little letter in the mail, you know, first class. No, no registered, no certified. Just put it in the mail. And sure enough, I'm, I'm reregistered as a Republican a month later. Again, no headaches. And I, I'm pretty sure this is, I mean, it was carried by DeSantis in 2022 for the first time in like 20 years, but it's predominantly a Democrat county. And everything is under control. Just south in Broward County, not it wasn't under control. But guess what happened? DeSantis got in and he fired the, fired the commissioner or registrar, whatever they call him. And now everything is under control in Broward County too. It's funny how that works. If you get rid of the corrupt people and the incompetent people and you put in people who know what they're doing, you don't have any more problems. Funny how that works, isn't it? At least in red states. Spring is here and the outdoor opportunities on the Cape are special, especially if you're staying at the Nossett Beach Inn in Orleans. Today's poll question, which you can vote in at HowieCarShow.com, is who is the U.S. Senator you like least? Chuck Schumer, Mitch McConnell, Mitt Romney, Elizabeth Warren, Ed Markey, or Dick Blumenthal. I always like to go with the headline person of the week. I'm going with Chuck Schumer right now. 57% say Chuck Schumer, 26% say Elizabeth Warren. Yes, she went into my second choice. Everyone else is at or under 5%. Really? Wow. That's good news for Ed Markey. Fast daddy. He is the most of the least liked. Most liked of the least liked. 844, 542, 42, 844, 542. I mentioned this the other day before we get to the calls. I just want to read this. This is from this Judge McAfee, who's really a big disappointment. You know, he said two people robbed a bank. He's only going to arrest one of them. The other one, it's okay. If you arrest one of them, the other one walks away with some cash and some red dye on his hands and his face. That's okay. He said they're bad. This finding, meaning that he's letting them go, this finding is by no means an indication that the court condones this tremendous lapse in judgment or the unprofessional conduct of the district attorney's testimony during the evidentiary hearing. I would call it perjury. Rather, that was me saying it, perjury. Rather, says the judge, it is the underside. That's him. Opinion that Georgia law does not permit the finding of an actual conflict for simply making bad choices, even repeatedly. And it is in the trial's court duty to confine itself to the relevant issues and applicable law properly brought before it. That he passes the buck. Here you see passing the buck. Other forums or sources of authority, such as the General Assembly, the Georgia State Ethics Commission, the State Bar of Georgia, the Fulton County Board of Commissioners, or the voters of Fulton County may offer feedback or any unanswered questions that linger. But those are not the issues determinative to the defendant's motions alleging an actual conflict. In other words, it's not my job, as Bill Dana used to say in his role as a bell boy. Bruce, you're next with Howie Carr. Go ahead, Bruce. Hey, Howie, how's it going? Good. Hey, got a quick story for you about a mask encounter, a late 2020. I'm 70 years old. It was a hot summer tape. I decided my input of wisdom, but I'm going to rebuild the stone wall under my desk. Yeah. So I finished up about 40 afternoon. I rented a package still. I'm covered with sweat. Like in the 80 year, they sure think of the shower. I grabbed my beer and it was one of these stores that wasn't giving people a high time about the masks. And I'm standing in the line. I'm kind of embarrassed because I'm kind of sweaty and dirty. And guy in front of me is potentially as younger than me. He's got a designer mask that matches his socks. Okay. Yeah. And tells me to put my mask on. And I said, it's a hundred degrees out there. I'm busting my ass outside all day long. I'm not putting one of those things on. And I wrap it up here, Bruce, quickly, quickly. What did he say? Okay. I said, well, if you don't realize this political theater at this point, that you've got a government job and you're part of the problem. You know what, Bruce? Here's the thing. He's probably still wearing a mask. They're like the Japanese soldiers after World War II. They never came out of the caves. Thanks for the call of how we car live from the Matthews Brothers Studios. 844-542-4844-542-42. Bloodbath. Yeah, I got a bloodbath for you. We'll talk more about it. Taylor only found 52 Charlie Parker cuts talking about the bloodbath. That was only through August. That was the, that was just the beginning. That was just the first few 100 days of the 15 days to flatten the curve. But we'll get to that as we go through. 978, how we had much rather listen to fingernails being dragged across an old-fashioned blackboard and listen to Elizabeth Warren speaking. Yeah, that's, you know, I agree. I agree. But what about all the others? They're just as bad. Chuck Schumer, he was, he's intolerable. Danang Dick Blumenthal. I didn't even put in Bernie Sanders. Ed Markey talking about climate change. Mitt Romney talking about anything, but how much he hates Donald Trump. They're all pretty exasperating, shall we say. All right, time now for Grace's News. Yes, how the Supreme Court has allowed a Texas law permitting state law enforcement to arrest border crossers to take effect. Good. This is from Reuters. The US Supreme Court on Tuesday declined to block a Republican-backed Texas law allowing state law enforcement authorities to arrest people suspected of crossing the US-backed border. You know what I'm going to say, Grace, I would say that's a bipartisan law. Do you think mostly, do you think a lot of Democrats are in favor of this? I kind of get the pressure that a lot of Democrats are in favor of closing the border and getting everything back under control again in the United States. It doesn't matter if a lot of Democrats are. You just need one to call it bipartisan. If we're playing, you'll need one Republican to call it. Oh, so that's how it works. It doesn't work the other way around? No. Understood. The administration had asked the justices to freeze a judicial order allowing the Texas law to take effect while the US government's challenge to the statute proceeds in the lower courts. This is the part of it that I find amazing, though, is because Joe Biden, now they're trying to pivot and say that they've tried everything they could and they're trying to get the crisis under control. So you'd think that they would want these kind of rulings from the Supreme Court because it makes it so that not as many people at least can cross the border illegally. But no, of course not. Right. Anyway, as long as we're talking about the Supreme Court, can we play? Let's play Katanji Brown Jackson yesterday. This was an amazing thing that she said. This was when they were having the case before the Supreme Court about whether the government had the right to engage in social social media censorship. This is basically a COVID type case. So this is a woman who went to Harvard, right? She doesn't know what a woman is, but you think she would know what freedom of speech is. You don't have to be a biologist to understand freedom of speech, do you? I don't think so. Cut one. So my biggest concern is that your view has the First Amendment hamstranging the government in significant ways in the most important time periods. I mean, what would you have the government do? I've heard you say a couple times that the government can post its own speech, but in my hypothetical, you know, kids, this is not safe, don't do it, is not going to get it done. Yeah, but the government said that to kids in 2020 about COVID, and it was a total lie. Katanji, madam justice. A lot of people on social media were responding to this and saying, that's the whole point of the First Amendment. It's to hamstring the government hamstringing the government is that this is like when we talk about legislation, how we and people say, oh, they won't be able to pass legislation or the, you know, the government will be stalled. And we're saying that, okay, good. That's that's good news. It's like, if you can hamstring the government and make their jobs a little harder so they can't censor people, that's kind of the point. Right. That could have been a poll question, but it would have been 99 to one day. Are you in favor of hamstringing the government or a hamstringing people's freedom of speech? I'm team hamstringing the government all day long. And I like to say, during the most important time periods, you mean, like up leading up to an election where you want to get rid of a guy that you don't like named Donald Trump? That's a very important time period, but that's the most important time period lately. And now it's going to be the most important time period again. But to, to your first point, how we, it's, it's so hard to decide, you know, what information is going to be, oh, well, we have to make sure that people are safe. So we're going to censor this information. And like, like you said, two years later, it turns out that information was incorrect or the disinformation that they were trying to suppress ends up being true. So who, who decides that? It's like that expression, you know, who guards the guards? Who's going to be able to decide? Yeah, no, you're right. And you know, I'm going to read that list from Dr. Scott Atlas that they put out the, the committee to unleash prosperity in the four o'clock hour. And everything that these guys say would have, and in fact, in many cases, did get them canceled from social media. And in some cases, even fired from the jobs four years ago. And now no one would dispute anything in there. Yeah, like shutting down the schools or the wearing masks is absurd. And one of the, one of the things they say is the government has no business interfering in science or freedom of speech. Yeah. And I think part of it too, how we would Dr. Scott Atlas and Dr. Marty McCarry and these other people that weren't, they were team like, keep a cool head. And they were trying to make sure that we weren't just like pushing panic. And that's what got them blacklisted. Like that's what got them ostracized from polite society is that they weren't running around like chickens with their heads cut off. And what's amazing is now they're not looking for apologies. They're not looking to say, I told you so, even though they have every right to do that, they're actually, and Dr. Scott Atlas is a huge proponent of this. He's just trying to figure out ways to prevent this from happening again. He's like, let's create some guardrails so that next time you have all of these health officials telling us we need to shut everything down, that there's some legislation that prevents them from doing that. Well, again, legislation, I just, I don't know how much legislation is going to help when you're dealing with people of unsleeping malevolence as Billy Bulger used to call them. I mean, the first rule in this, in this document that they have, the lessons to be learned is leaders should not try to stoke panic. And that's what they were doing. They loved it too. They loved it. They, the panic was like they're, I mean, it fueled them. Yeah, they, they, I mean, that was, that was probably the highlight of Charlie Parker's life, was those noon press conferences where he could go out and his little beta male voice cracking, standing next to all these, all these PhDs and the eddies and their little white coats, like when they were supposed to fool us into thinking they were physicians and epidemiologists. I've got this shut down. The bars got to be out by 9.30, but Friday and Saturday night, 10.30 is okay because we've negotiated a truce with, with COVID. It was like a hall monitor's dream. All, all these people who were hall monitors got to just really enforce their, their power on everybody. And you know, it was hall, being hall monitors with guns. Yeah. And the part of it, how he did always made me sad though, because I wasn't in school when it was all going on, and I felt bad for kids who obviously, you know, were and were having all these experiences taken away from them. But I also remember thinking about in my neighborhood, there'd be young kids riding bikes with masks on. And I remember I said to my mom, mom, if I were a kid when this was happening, I would have come home and you would have said to me, because my mom is, she's never a panic person. She's always like, I don't worry about a type. She would have said, don't even worry about go outside, take your mat, like don't bring your mask with you. It's all a bunch of, you know, they're just trying to get everybody worked up. But there were kids whose parents were the opposite, who were telling them like, don't forget your mask. Don't go out on your bike without your mask on. And I'm like, that is so damaging to these young kids who now are still terrified. And they don't even know what they're scared of, but it's like made permanent damage on their brains. I never understood, you know, I understand why people don't get involved in issues or politics that don't affect them directly. But when they're shutting down society on these bogus, specious grounds that everybody's going to die, I mean, don't you do like a tiny bit of research and say, hey, nobody under the age of 10 is dead. Next to nobody under the age of 40 is dead. Next to nobody under the age of 60 is dead unless they were very sick or very fat to begin with. Yeah, Dr. Phil was just saying that on the view and the women were just in total shock. But there was a caller today, Howie, on my show. And she said, you know, I was just surprised, like you'd see one person once in a while stand up who ran a business. I was surprised more people didn't just, you know, tell them, as Peter Navarro said to the feds who brought the J6 subpoena, get the bleep out of here. But I told the woman, I said, well, some people did, but there were huge consequences. Like it's easy for us to say all this. But there was a guy who had the gym out in Worcester County and they shut off his water. Yeah, they would find you, they would find you into into the ground, into the right, they were finding that they were finding those guys at the gym in New Jersey, like a thousand bucks a day or maybe more. Yeah. And I mentioned the guy from Maine, the Sunday River Brewing Company and somebody. Yeah. Yeah. Was that the same thing? Well, didn't he keep it open? Even though he was getting a lot of pushback and somebody texted me and said, I don't think he even was able to keep it open because it was just constant. They were, you put a target on your back when you actually stand up and say, I'm not going to follow the rules. Right. And you know, the thing is, you have a heart, it's like, it's like Trump is having a hard time getting the getting a bond. He's not going to be able to. I don't think, I don't know why, what he's going to do. He can't get a lawyer in a lot of these cases. And the same thing at the time applied. I mean, a lot of lawyers didn't want to go up against the man, against the machine. And how even though the, even though the machine was, was insane and anyone who did more than a half hours research, know it. And how we, another thing that we saw a lot of in Boston is that there were certain businesses that were part of like the popular kids table, you know, like they were, you know, they were following the rules and they were setting a good example. And so you're also going up against the fact that there are some businesses that are on the side of the rule makers. And if you're one of the ones who isn't, you're going to be further ostracized and further punished. Well, this was another, I mean, there are a million, everybody's got their own examples. How about the golf clubs in Massachusetts? They hired a lobbyist. Yeah. It used to be the district attorney who would let Charlie Baker's son go when he was accused of groping the woman on the jet blue flight. So suddenly the golf courses are open. But if you're a driving range or a miniature golf course, you couldn't be open. That was apparently a high risk area, but not golf courses. Yeah, money talks. If you could hire the right legal team, you could probably get your place open. But otherwise you're screwed. Yeah. Here's one. 603. Remember when Massachusetts held a million dollar lottery only for those who had their vaccines? Yes. Thanks. That wasn't one of my major memories. But again, everybody has their own, their own particular source spots about this thing. How we remember when all of the big box stores were open, you could go there to get shampoo, to get, you know, whatever you needed in the small mom and pops for whatever reason they had to shut down. How about one of our, how about one of our clients on the South Shore? He had a great restaurant. He has a great restaurant. He was across the street from McDonald's. They shut his restaurant down. But the McDonald's, because all the, all the mom and pop and the independent restaurants were shut down, the McDonald's had lines all day long going through the drive through window. There's so many examples. I mean, you could do four hours on it. Yeah. And we used to all the time. Remember, we talked about it. It was, and remember at one point when Baker started talking about the, the codes, how he like the, the colors based off the neighborhoods. That's when I was really like, Oh, this has got to be winding down. Now we're doing color coded charts. He's like, if you're in a red zone, or if you're in an orange zone, but you should check with your town to see what color zone you're in. I'm in a green zone, Charlie. How much do I have to pay? Not to have to go through anymore of this BS. I'm in a green zone. Stay the mind. That's it for me, Howie. All right. Thank you, Grace. If you're like me, you need your sleep, not five or six hours. I'm talking about seven or eight hours, blissful hours of uninterrupted sleep. And there's one thing that makes my night complete. And that's my pillows, famous geez of dream sheets. Nate Silver, the big lib who's a podcaster in the pollster, he said, "You know, it tells you a lot when the churches had more stringent regulations than the museums." And then he said, and it also tells you who was writing the regulations. Yes, it does. 774 Baker took away the ball washers on the court, on the courses, how ironic. You didn't want any competition. 774. That's the irony, of course, ball washers. 844-542-42. They also were allowing people to go out and sell beers on the court, on the course as well. And because they hired the right lobbyists and they had everything wired, they could do whatever they wanted. They still haven't straightened anything out. You know, all these wacky regulations, why are you allowed? And they passed this as a permanent law. You can sell drinks to go at restaurants, drinks to go. But it's still against the law to have an open container in the car. What is a drink to go other than an open container? And don't tell me they got a little bit of a wrapper on the straw. Come on, cut the BS. I was born at night, but not last night. You can't believe the troops, as my old city editor used to say. Jeff, you're next with Howie Carr. Go ahead, Jeff. Yeah, hi, Howie. You're on a retired police officer, my second career at Twelion Academia. Enjoying every minute and part of it, you know, you have to publish. And one of the chapters that wrote for a textbook was on the pandemic and policing. Some of you have got a chance to talk about it. And I'll show a lot of police officers listening. But the impact on policing and public safety, you know, with everything else that went on is dramatically changed the whole scope of the activities of the police officer when they started making them health cops and enforcing laws and shredding the Constitution, which is difficult to put back together again. It sure is everything. And it's a very, very, I'm glad I'm retired. I can just tell you that. How about when it was a how about when it was a public health crisis not to wear a mask until George Floyd died in police custody? He was not murdered, by the way, he died in police custody. And all of a sudden, it was okay because because racism was a public health crisis. So when you were burning down buildings and looting, you didn't have to wear a mask, although it would be a probably a wise decision with all the closed circuit cameras. And, and you know, as a guy pointed out in the New York Post today, isn't obesity a public health crisis to Jeff? So so so why don't we take them? Why didn't we take the masks off for the obesity crisis? Yeah, no common sense went out the window. And you know, this when you when you take away discretion from American policing, you're never going to get that back. I mean, that's that that is the dividing line. That's the insulation between a police officer's decision making a arrest for whatever, France or whatever, right? Yeah, they took that away. And for and on top of it, you have the the hypocrisy of all these other activities where people could do what they want, like you said, but other people could not. And so it really is just like I said, it's a huge game changer from the police officers in my heart. You know what, Jeff, it was a huge game changer for everybody, everybody in society. And some people benefited greatly, the the wokesters, the the deep state, the elite, the box checkers, and the rest of us got screwed. I'm Howie Carr.
