- Today, we're talking about the one thing that will help improve your style impact. And that is the framing of your face. - That's right, that's right. We're talking about framing with your brows and framing with your eyewear. - Right, it's so perfect. So listen, Linda did a great, I mean, she gave us some great information on eyewear. I learned face shape, your personal color palette and the latest eyewear trends. I mean, some of this I didn't, you know, take with me when I went to go eyewear shopping. And now I told Linda I'm going to be calling you when I go into the eyewear store next time. And I'm getting myself a pair of red glasses. That's just saying. - There we go, there we go. All right, you will be all set with eyewear but you will also learn things like I learned about framing with your brows. First of all, brow mapping. I did not know that was a thing. - It's a thing. - But I'm ready to learn more about brow mapping. Brow serum did not know that was a thing 'cause I used three different serums and now Lisa's going to add a fourth serum. It's important though, it's very important. And also brow growth supplements did not know that was a thing either. But if you think about it, it's hair, you know, or brows. - Well, not brow growth supplements but hair growth supplements are different than brow growth serum. - There you go. - Different, and we get into that more. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - In the episode. So definitely, you're going to love this. Go frame your face so that you make a big impact. Big splash in the water. - I'm going to go put my sunglasses on before I walk outside. - Look to your brows. - Yeah. (upbeat music) - If it's Tuesday, it's another episode of "Living Visibly Over 50," where we challenge the notion that beauty fades with age we've just given up on our style. I'm Lisa. - And I'm Linda. Lisa and I talk about positive aging with beauty and style wisdom that keeps us looking and feeling confident and relevant in our second act. (upbeat music) - Today we're talking about framing. - That's right. - We're talking about how to frame our face. Specifically, brows, because brows truly frame your face and help create a polished, confident look. And we're talking about eyewear. - That's right. - Eyewear's frame your face. And I'm on brows today. - I'm on eyewear. - Linda's on eyewear. - So let's get framing our faces. So I want to talk about brows clearly. And what I want to do is I want to show you how to easily, easily as key and beautifully shape your own brows. And I'll talk about my recommended tools and favorite products that I personally use to shape and define my brows. And then I use with my clients when they come in for one-on-one consults. And then I recommend to everyone that I talk to about their makeup and their brows specifically. It's really important not to forget our eyebrows. - Which I did today. I forgot my eyebrows. - You did, you would see how light they are. - As soon as you said that, I'm like, yeah, you're right. - Yeah. - They're shaped beautifully, but they are light. And they just, with eyebrows really provide, and I love the confident. It provides a confident look and really helps our eyes to stand out. - It's a finishing point. And I think too often they get forgotten. So what I want you to do while you're listening is think about your brows. Look at, look at the mirror at your brows. And do you like them? Or, oh, can we change them? - But yes, I mean, yes you can't. - Is that an option? Okay. - Well, you want to go with your natural brow shape, right? You don't want to fight your natural brow shape. I mean, you could if you wanted to, but that feels like a losing battle to me. So going with your natural brow shape, but we can enhance it. - Here you go. - Yeah. - You know, with tweezers. We could certainly change it, but let's not go too crazy. And the other thing I like to say is that your eyebrows are sisters, not twins. Do you have, is one of your eyebrows different than the other? - Very much. - Mine are! - Very much. - I thought that was not a, I thought it was a bug, not a feature. (both laughing) - I love that, that's so funny. - But it's a feature. - They're not exactly. And my two sets of eyelashes, we're not talking about eyelashes for say, but my two sets of eyelashes, they're different too. - Sure. - One color or the other. Like, so don't think of them as twins, nobody has twin brows. I mean, we're all a little bit different side to side. We have two sides, so. - Good to know, good to know. - Keep that in the back of your mind. One thing, when you, can you change them? That was a good question. I actually want to bring this up. I was inside my customer care group for Simple Beauty Minerals. And one of my customers, Cathy, I just asked overall, for the podcast, what topics would you like to hear about? And Cathy said, I'm curious about microblading, which is for the eyebrows. It's a tattooing for the eyebrow. And she said, I was thinking about it, what do you think? So I said, oh my God, that is perfect. We're recording eyebrow, about eyebrows today. So I wanted to address that. - Right. - She asked me what I thought. I am not an expert, I do not do microblading. And I have not had microblading done. I know many people who have, but I have my opinions. So I'm just gonna share my opinions. Do you have any opinions? - No. - I think, okay. Okay. (laughs) All right, so here's what I think. They're permanent tattoos. And it can be beautiful. You never have to touch your brows again. You don't have to ever put makeup on again. You know, this is the theory behind it. It's just you wake up every morning and your brows are done. That said, if they don't get done right, you wake up every morning. - Oh. - Brows that aren't done. - Yeah, it's like a tattoo. - Well, it is attached. - It went wrong. - Yeah. - It is a tattoo that is in the shape of your brows. So that is my main concern. I have a friend who had her brows microbladed and one was higher than the other. And it was noticeably so. Now, that may have been her brows and they may have been that way before she had the microbladed and I never noticed. But the moment she showed up with the new brows, I didn't know what to do or say. - Oh boy. - 'Cause they were noticeably one was higher than the other. And that's what she has now. - Is that something an esthetician does? - It's someone who's specifically trained in permanent cosmetics. - Yeah. - It's in that category. It is tattooing, but it's a different kind of tattooing. So it's called permanent cosmetics. Now, I was doing a little research this morning and I don't wanna go too far into this, but this came up, I thought it was a tattoo. And as of 2024, microblading has some people, you know, really voicing their opinions of how they wished they'd never done it. It's one of their biggest regrets. It does fade some, so you do have to have it redone, but it will never totally go away. There is something new on the market. I haven't looked into it. So do your own research, but it's called powder brows and it is semi-permanent. - Okay. - I would prefer that. - Mm-hmm, that sounds good. - Maybe a little bit more maintenance, but it's not like once a month maintenance. Again, I didn't dig too deep. I just wanted to cover that. I would seriously, unless you just really, you know you have an excellent microblading, permanent cosmetic technician that you could go to. And you know many, many people that she has, or he have worked with. - Right. - I would be very-- - And they know you. You know, in other words, if you make it too dark, like me walking around with black brows, that would not look good. - It would not look good. - So they have to really know their stuff, right? - Yeah. - So that's personal opinions. - Okay. - You know, I do love the concept of waking up and having your brows done. I mean, there's nothing wrong with that. So, but I concept is where I end. - A little scary, it sounds like. - I don't know. Kathy, I had to hope that wasn't too disturbing for you. (laughing) - If you listen to this. - Okay, so moving on to brow makeup. - Yeah. - I wanna talk about concerns that most of us have with our brows as we get on in years. We want a natural looking brow. Most of us want a natural looking brow. We have thinning brow hairs. So we want fuller, more defined brows. Our hair is lightning. It's getting lighter and it's getting grayer. And we wanna cover that. Our brows, we want them to stay put when we apply our brow makeup during the day. And we wanna get a good color match for our brows, for our complexion and palette. Would you agree? Did I miss any concerns? Do you have any concerns that I didn't get? - I have a new one that you showed up the other day. - Oh, I didn't do one. - I looked in my magnifying mirror, which is always something, you know. - Pretty scary. - Yes, yes. - I had a runaway, very long hair, a brow hair. And I wasn't, I kept thinking to myself, what would Lisa tell me to do? And I said, screw it, and I cut it. - Yeah. - It was way too long. - Fluff it or cut it. - I cut it. - Fluff it or cut it, I don't care. - 'Cause I don't have enough hair to cut, to fluck it. - My husband has some crazy, unruly brow hairs. And for some reason, he doesn't think he should come, get rid of them. And I'm like, dude, in your sleep. I'm coming around with a pair of little scissors. (laughing) - Put those brow hairs. - He might wake up, Lisa. - You know. - You do that. (laughing) - But you look like a crazy old guy. - Okay, good. So cutting it was okay. - That would have been fine too. - Yeah, yeah. - Seriously. - It looks good now. - Yes, you cut it, yeah, completely fine. Perfect solve. - Another thing to check, ladies. - I know, crazy, unruly brow hairs. So, let's talk about natural looking, well-groomed brows. There is something called brow mapping. And if you go to the Simple Beauty blog, I will put the link in the show notes. I have a brow tutorial that describes this and with pictures that describes the brow mapping. And what brow mapping is, is eyebrow shaping or the pencil method. You can see this tutorial for the photos right there. It's really easy. But here's basically what you're going to do. You're going to, I'm gonna just go over it verbally, but again, remember, you can go look at photos. You're gonna find, you just take a pencil and you're gonna find the highest midpoint or arch of your brows. And you're gonna take a pencil or any thin eye makeup brush, find the center of your eye and place the pencil at the edge of your nose. It's so hard to do this without a visual. Having the pencil go over the center of your eye. Does that, do you get a visual of that, Linda? - Yeah. - Okay, okay. The point where the brows and the pencil intercepts is where your natural arch, arch would be, typically. Remember, everybody's brows are a little different. There is no perfect set of brows. Using the same pencil, follow the nose to the edge of the eye. That's where the natural edge of the brow would be. So either end, like towards the outer corner and then to the inner corner. - And again, I've gotten my makeup professionally done. They always do that. They will do the brow mapping. - Yes, they mark it. - You can do this at home. Mark it with eye pencil, eyebrow pencil or eyeliner pencil. And that's a really good thing to do when you're first learning to shape your brows. After a while, you don't need to do that after a while. But that's also how you do when you're plucking, right? When you're doing your own plucking. Oh, remember back in the days when the really thin eyebrows were in? We over plucked. - Oh boy. - And some of us lost some hair that never grows back anymore because of that. Okay. Now, what about, so that's how we shape our brow, right? That's the guideline. What about thinning brows? How do we get more brow hair? Can we? I mean, I'm not asking, I'm just, you know, you can if you use a lash and or slash brow serum. - Okay. - Oh, is there one? - There are. There are definitely, and I love mine. I like the non-hormone type of brands. The one that my favorite is the Ordinary and it's lash and brow serum. And it's fairly inexpensive, around $20, I'll link it. But it is a non-hormone growth serum for your brow and lash hairs. Because the hormones have side effects that I don't recommend anyone have. Now, if you're using a hormone based lash serum and it's working for you successfully and it's fine, you're not having any side effects, keep going. But make sure you know that you can use these on brows. It is different. Like you, some people think, well, like I take, what are those hair vitamins? I'm drawing a blank. There are hair vitamins, supplements. - Yes. The biotin or? - Biotin is typically an ingredient. If you're low on biotin, it will help to grow hair, but if you're not low in your diet, but there's a, I'll think of it and put it in the notes, but there are hair growth supplements. - Okay. - And, but that, you can take those, but that's not necessarily going to grow lash and brow hair. It's a different mechanism. - Okay. - So serum, what about gray and light hairs that are lightening up? - So a couple of solves for that are a tinted brow gel, a brow powder that will cover up hairs, a cream or a powder and a green mix and even pencils. So I have some graying hairs and my pencil does fill in enough. It doesn't actually cover the gray hairs, but it fills in enough all around it. So it kind of depends, you have to play with that. But a tinted brow gel could work really well. - I have a question, Lisa. - Yeah, if you're a beautiful silver haired woman, you still want dark eyebrows? - Not necessary. - I'm trying to picture someone that I know and trying to think. - Well, if you look at me, my, this is my natural brow, I guess I have brow makeup on, but it matches my brow color. I have dark brows and my hair is gray. - Yeah. - Now, not everybody does. Most people are like you where your hair and your brows blend and match. That is more common. - Okay. - So could a silver haired woman have a deeper eyebrow? She could. - And probably should. - What was her more natural color? Or she can have a little bit darker gray. - That's what I think. Just because it does make your eyes show up more. - Because that contrast is really what gives us that powerful, confident, and dare I say it, youthful look. We lose contrast as we age. So let's bring some back. - Yeah, yeah. Okay. That's really good to think about. - Some of that is personal preference, of course. So let's talk about application methods, all right? So we've shaped our brows. You're gonna go look at the blog post on the Simple Beauty blog. I think it's called Easy Ways, Easy Tips for Gorgeous Brows. At any rate, you're gonna shape your brows. You've decided what your main brow concerns are and you're sort of assessing what products are gonna work for you. Let's walk through a little bit more how to apply the brow makeup. And then we'll get into specific product suggestions. So, okay, applying the eyebrow makeup. First thing you wanna do is take a spoolie and just brush up your brows. You could take an old mascara wand, that mascara's gone. Run that through the dishwasher, use that as a spoolie or you can get spoolies on Amazon. But a spoolie is a good tool to brush up your brows. You want them hair fibers going up, right? Then you wanna trim off any hairs, they're too long. - There you go. - Use small scissors for that area. You don't have to poke yourself in the eye. You wanna poke your eye out, kid. Then you wanna use a mini razor or a derma planer and I was talking about derma planers, the last-- - Yes. - The last-- - Hot cast. - We did. - Yeah, yeah. - To keep your brows fresh and clear. So, I take my little handheld one. I don't use my electric one around my brows. I'm afraid I'm gonna put my arms gonna move and I'm sick. - Yeah, the whole thing is gone. - So, I use my little handheld one that's not electric and I just kind of clean up under the brows. I typically don't clean up above do you? Do you clean up above your brows? - Never, never. - It's always underneath. And, right. Okay, and then, Al, this is when I very care. - So, you don't pluck? - I do pluck, I pluck the big ones, but I'll tell you what's going to happen. - Okay, okay. - My hairs, it's not growing in big thick hairs anymore around my brows. - Yeah, that's true. - It's fine or hair and they're hard to pluck. So, I clean it up with a little handheld derma planer. - That's brilliant. - Okay, great. - And it's designed for the face. So, I feel safe with that. - Okay. - Now, very gently and carefully, go to your 10x mirror. And that's where you shave off the little hairs, you know, with that little derma planer, is in front of that very scary mirror. - Yes. - And then back away, back away. - Yeah. - Don't get everything. - Don't get stuck there. Danger, danger. - Okay, so now you've cleaned up and your brows are shaped. We're gonna put our brows on. You're gonna choose your product type. I love a pencil. To me, a pencil is the easiest choice, but it's real, but you know what? I used to love a powder. Before that, all I wanted to use was a powder. So, it's really personal preference. Pencils will fill and define, I think they're easy to use. Gremes can give you a more full defined and polished look. So, if you really like that, a little bit more made up, a little more polished than a cream perhaps, powders. I love powders because I think they can give the most natural look. They fill, define, and give a natural blended look. You just need the right angled brush when using a powder. Gels, a tint can help color gray. A clear gel, I love a clear gel, it will help hold your brows in place when you're done applying your brow makeup. And for example, you can use a combination. A pencil and a powder combined really helps the brow to make up to stay attached to the brow and gives you a longer lasting brow. Yeah, that's a really good tip. Yeah. Okay, so, using your pencil or your slanted brow brush, or if you're using it into gel, the spoolie, you, here's, well, not with the gel so much, but with the pencil or the cream or the powder, you're going to sort of color outside the lines of your brow. Very carefully, this takes a little bit of practice, but once you nail it, it looks so good, it almost looks like a gently laminated brow. So you're going to kind of color, color outside the lines of your brow on the outside and then underneath as well. Then you're going to fill in with light, short, hair-like motion, mimicking your natural hairs. Did you get a visual of that? I did. Why did you outline with? Well, I use a pencil. Oh, okay. So you're, it looks like a lip liner. You're going to outline a little bit wider. But I outline it with little, I don't go like a straight line. Okay. A little hair-like motions. I was going to say something. You could also do that with a powder with your slanted angle brush with the powder. Yeah. And then you brush some brow gel on. I like to then add your brow gel and lifting up. It holds everything in place and it's just more staying power, more definition. And for a final polish, add just a touch of a highlight, just below and just above your brow. Now, most of us know just below, but just above the brow. I've never done that. It's really pretty. If you take like an, the edge of an eyeshadow brush, just the edge, just so it's a really fine line and dip it into something like maybe Pashmina, just a light. It doesn't even have to be iridescent. It could be bright-eyes pink, just a matte soft pink and just go along the outer, the upper edge of your brow, really pretty, really finishes it off so nicely. How fun. So I will link some of my recommended products below. I love the Chella brand for brow because basically, that's what they do. And I love that about them. They have pencils and creams in a really wide variety of shades. I love our Simple Beauty Minerals natural brow powders. I think those are perfect for brows, super easy, super natural. And Chella has a great clear brow gel to finish off. They actually also have a pencil to highlight above the brow, but that's kind of fun, but you can use any nice highlighting shadow that you have. So that's what I have, unless you have questions. - Great, no, that was great. - Okay, so we just talked about how to easily shape your own brows and then, excuse me, I gave recommended tools and products that I use with my own brows. So now, our brows peek out from underneath our beautiful eyewear. - That's right. That's right, segue of the year. (upbeat music) - Hello, Linda here. Are you an empty nester? Retired? Just need extra cash so you can enjoy your second act. Well, if you love fashion like I do and you're looking to do something fun and rewarding, I've got the answer. I'm teaching my closets to cash coaching program again in October. We'll take a deep dive into establishing your new business, helping others declutter their closets and sell their pre-owned items. Go to lindawaldin.com and get more information today. - Well, I do love outlining my brows. I love eyewear for the same reason that we're focusing on our brows because it also really frames and brings out our eyes and there are reasons that we wear glasses obviously because we need to not walk into walls. - That's right. So, I mean, it's both a beautiful accessory. - It is. - And the fun part is there's lots of colors and shapes and sizes to play with and it can change up your look as quickly and easily as, you know, swiping on a bold lipstick. - And the day of wearing eyeglasses and feeling like, you know, you look just old and you look old right now is so gone. - Oh, so gone. We tell you here, I mean, we have, there are trend reports out there. Just like you and I do our color trend reports and our fashion trend reports, every year there are eyewear trend reports. So everybody's really playing with eyeglasses for any kind of reason. So the type of frames that you wear is a personal decision, obviously. It's an accessory that completes an outfit. So there are a lot of what I'm gonna talk about are some fashion and style considerations to take into account, but in the end, how you frame your face is really up to you. There are no right or wrong answers. And sunglasses are becoming this necessity for a stylish woman, right? So, you know, whether you're rocking your readers or prescription glasses or flaunting your sunglasses, they're all, they can become fashion statements. So that is a really fun part to think about and they do frame your face as well. So when we talk about the right eyewear shapes and sizes for your face, we have an episode that you and I did not too long ago was actually in season eight. It was last season. And we're gonna put that in the show notes. - What was the episode? - Oh, go ahead. - It was called contours and contour, deep dive into face shapes and fashion. So we talked about how to determine your face shape and then what jewelry, neckline, and eyewear to wear for your face shape. And then you talked about makeup to enhance your face shape. - The perfect bonus. - Yeah, so go listen to that as well. If you wanna do a deep dive into your face shape. Now, so an easy way to determine your face shape because honestly, there are a lot of people that couldn't tell me what their face shape is. Pull your hair back, look in the mirror. If you want, grab an erasable felt pen and literally outline on the mirror. I remember last time you talked about using soap, which was a great idea to outline the shape of your face that you're looking at in the mirror. And it'll pretty much instantly tell you the shape. Now, when you are considering buying new eyewear, and I love this 'cause people will send me felt text me photos 'cause they're in the optic store. You know, they're in the eyeglass store and they'll go, "Okay, Linda, which shape looks best on me?" You know, and sometimes it's obvious, sometimes it's not. And you know, the reason is because it really depends on many factors. So first of all, it's your face shape. So you want your eyeglasses to compliment your face shape, not really overpower it. Although, if you are that person like Iris Appfel, - Oh, right. - You know, - Something to stand, right? - Yeah. - That's a clear style choice for her. - She's quirky, she's artsy and a fashionista. And her glasses are the first thing you see about her. They take center stage. For most of us in general, especially if you wear glasses every day, you want them to enhance your face, not really take away from it or detract. So think about, first of all, your face shape. So I'm just gonna give you four of the most common face shapes and some quick ideas. So if you have an oval face shape, which I do, it's considered the ideal face shape because it's balanced. It's not too wide, it's not too long. There aren't too many angles in it. So the oval face is pretty easy to pick out just about any style frame you want. And so therefore, what I do when I pick out frames, I want them to be as wide or just a little bit wider than the widest point of my face. And sometimes I want something angular and sometimes I want something round and anything goes with oval. However, if you have a heart shaped face and all that means is your face shape is wider on the top third and it comes down usually to a point at the bottom of your chin. So it's a beautiful face shape, but you wanna balance your shape, which means you wanna kind of reduce the width of the top of your face. So by choosing a frame that's wider or heavier at the bottom of the frame, that's gonna really balance out the top third of your face. And frames that look good I knew, I've seen square and rectangle, those look really good on a heart shape. So rimless, I'm seeing the beautiful actresses that have heart shaped faces, they're wearing rimless glasses, which basically minimize the look of the glass. It basically disappears on your face. So that's really nice too. Now if you have a round face, which is soft and curvy, so think curves, lots of curves. If you wanna go with a nice contrast, choose a rectangular frame or a square or geometric, you can play with cat eye. If you have round and that's really gonna give you, you know, another dynamic shape for your face, that always looks really good. And if your face is square, which usually you'll see a strong jaw line and a broad forehead, what you wanna do is kind of soften those angles and try to elongate your face. So try a narrower frame, like a narrow oval or a narrow round frame. Round is coming back really, it's very retro. Round glasses, remember, you know, John Lennon, always in the Beatles, he always had round frames. And also, you know, something like a rimless frame is great for square. So those are just some ideas to kind of get you going when you're thinking about your face shape. Now the other thing I always consider is color. So now we have so many choices in terms of the color of your eyewear frames. You wanna think about your skin coloring, your eye color and your hair color. And think about whether you're looking for contrast in your frame that juxtaposes your natural coloring or do you want the frames to blend harmoniously. Lisa, do you have a preference? I think you harmonize. I, it looks like, do harmonize. Well, I always choose colors that go with my wardrobe. Exactly, exactly. And like skin tone if I'm going for a neutral, but I like, I do like bolder glasses. Yeah, but it's within your color palette. It's within, yes, my natural color palette. Yes, for sure. So think about this, you know, when I'm going for eyewear frames, I'm warm toned, so I'm thinking camel, gold, copper, peach. - Right. - Teal, you know, and teal would be a bold color. - So I would say, for example, I will never wear a black eyeglass. - Right. - 'Cause that is completely opposite. - Right. - Of everything for me. - 'Cause you might literally don't wear black. - I don't have black in my wardrobe. - So rose brown or blue gray or plum. - Right. - Your pinks. - Right, interesting. - It's gorgeous. - Yeah, magenta, even, you know, that could be a really beautiful pop for you. So color, and you want it, you know, think about your own personal coloring, your lifestyle, if you're an active person, you probably want a more robust frame that doesn't cost a lot. Because you're either gonna lose them or you're gonna step on them or they're gonna fall off while you're running, you know, I mean, really, you've got to think about your lifestyle. If you travel a lot, you probably don't want to travel with an expensive frame because you may leave them behind on the plane. - Right. - So your lifestyle's really important, your signature style. That, I think, again, just like clothing, it's really key, just like fashion, your glasses should reflect your style personality. So there's Boho artsy frames, there's natural sporty frames, you know, I love aviators, they're kind of classic and tailored, kind of preppy. So think about your signature style, your budget, obviously, is a factor. And there are some great trends, Lisa, right now that will frame your face so beautifully and you're gonna get noticed. So the first one I've been noticing are color gradient frames. - Oh, wow. - It's almost like an ombre effect. It goes from light to dark. So, and also they're bringing in like opposite colors. I've seen them brown to teal or white to cobalt blue. - Fine. - So there's really exciting color combinations that will frame your face and really look beautiful. I think the best way to go with a color gradient is to start darker at your brow and lighter toward the bottom of the frame. Generally. - That's a good tip. - And it's gonna really highlight your eyes, you know, frame your eyes more. There are transparent frames. I don't know if you've seen those. They're really thick, clear, oversized frames. - Yeah, I like those. - They were transparent. So they're fashion forward. They're almost like you notice them because they're oversized, you really do see them around your eyes. Wire frames are back. They're really truly, they've never gone out of style. Wire frames are kind of preppy and intellectual. And that's always a thing in fashion. Very, very cute. Oversized frames are still really strong. So go big or go home, ladies. Think iris afo and you can't go wrong. You know, just watch out. My advice is make sure the frame isn't so thick. It's heavy and uncomfortable to wear, especially if you wear glasses. - How'd that happen? And then do you ever get the little red indent marks on your nose? - I used to. When, you know, when I wore glasses all the time. Yeah, I can really dig in right there. The brow line frame is a really new type of frame that is going to be accenting or darker on the top, right where your brow line is. And then it's a wire bottom. So basically you're just accenting your brow line. - Well, we need to make sure that we have really great brows on. - I think so. And now we know how. - Right. - That's right. And Wayfarer is another style that's really in. That is from the 1950s, which I didn't realize it's that old. It was worn by musicians and artists in the '50s. And it's really back. It's roaring back. My daughter and son-in-law were here a couple of weeks ago. They both had Wayfarers, sunglasses on. - Oh, I'm not going to. - And they're really flat. You know, they're almost like concave on your face. They're very flat in square shape. But they're, you know, worn by a lot of movie stars are wearing them right now. Don't forget the cat eye. Very retro, it's quirky. In the upturned corners and a feminine touch. And really, you know, to me, it outlines your eyes beautifully. And edgy aviators, I was at my hairstyle is yesterday and she had a pair of Raybann aviator glasses on her shelf. And she said, she's been collecting them for like 30 years. - Wow. - So they're really, really in right now. And I'm sure that the ones she's collecting are worth a lot of money. But Raybann is, you know, they're probably the best known brand for aviators. And then red frames are really, really in. So a really big pop of color, like the bold lipstick is really in. - Love it. - So those are some ideas to frame your eyes just as you frame your brows. - I love it. I'm gonna be texting you photos from the eyeglass shop soon. - Exactly. Exactly. Everyone feel free. I love it. - I love it. - I love it. - I love it. - My eyeglass game. - That's right. - That's right. - Sounds good. It's a plan.
