[Music] Hello and welcome to the Accountability Coach podcast where we will discuss topics, ideas, questions and issues related to having a totally balanced and successful life. This is Ann Baccrack. Today we're going to talk about how to produce big results. If you fail at producing big results in your business, it's time to let the failures go and move on. As an entrepreneur, you do not have time to sit around with regret. You've got to get moving. If you want to produce big results, you first need to understand how to get big results. Big results are brought upon by the confidence to take action again and again and again. When it comes down to it, who's going to believe in your business when you don't seem to believe in it yourself? If you have at any time questioned your ability to create the kind of life you have always wanted, a change mindset would work wonders for your personal and professional life. Learn how to use the 4D master task list formula. The first and most important principle to producing big results is learning how to focus on the high payoff activities and tasks while delegating or deleting the not-so-important tasks. Reduce time-wasters while increasing your productivity to sticking to the four rules regarding all of your tasks. Here they are. First one, do it now. Second one, do it later. Third possible one, delegate it. And the fourth one is great. Delete it or just don't do it at all. Each evening before you go to bed, you should be creating a master task list for the following day. Each task should be designed into one of the four categories or actually designated into one of the four categories. Do it now, do it later, delegate it or delete it. And then with whatever you have on your list, obviously it has to be prioritized with the highest payoff task or activity at the very top of the list. You'll want to do this every evening, well, for two reasons I can think of. You can get a good night's rest knowing that you've written everything down. And the second is so your subconscious can organize your day while you're busy sleeping. You don't have to think about it anymore. Live each day by your master task list and schedule everything. You'll want to list everything, including even morning coffee, your shower, your drive time, your lunch time, break time. To avoid being rushed or feeling overwhelmed, give yourself a few minute buffer with each item. That way, if you're running a few minutes later behind schedule, you can still remain calm and feel in control and don't have any anxiety over constantly being behind. If you don't have the time to get to something, transfer it to the next day's list. Making friends with other successful entrepreneurs will get into a positive and successful mindset. The wealthy and successful think and act very differently than those who are just scraping by. And what you want to do is learn the distinctive differences so you always know where your mindset is taking you. A successful mindset will put you into a superior state of mind where you see opportunity, not obstacles, and income, not lack of it. Find mastermind networking groups where you can immerse yourself in a room of big thinkers or attend dinner parties where successful business owners congregate. Successful entrepreneurs know how to get big results. And soon enough, their savvy business tips will rub off on you. Ask good questions and get a mentor or mentors to help you. Create a board of directors to bounce ideas off on. They can be like the multiply mentors. Learn to take risks, would build gates be where he is today if he didn't drop out of Harvard to follow his dream. What if Steve Jobs gave up building on computers? Neither would be where they are today if it weren't for taking risks. Ask any successful entrepreneur. Sometimes it takes big risks to get big results. If you're wondering why you haven't got where you want to be, it's probably a safe bet that you haven't taken much risk. The moral of this story is that without some risk, you will never get big results. Period. Not all risks pay off, but if you don't take them at all, you will always stay where you are today. The important thing is to remember that you shouldn't throw caution to the wind and risk everything without a payoff that's worth it. The trick is to learn to take a calculated risk that has the potential to get you where you want to be. This is where learning from successful entrepreneurs will be of great benefit to you. Remember, it's always and only about taking action that puts you in the straightest path to achieving your goals. The only person responsible for creating that path is you. You must learn it is only a habit that separates you from the most successful entrepreneurs in the world. They have learned how to optimize their time and results to get there faster. The straighter the line, the quicker you produce, big results. My hope for our time together is that you got value and an idea or two that will help you be even more successful, both personally and professionally.
