It's a good idea to have a Don't Do List also, which reminds us what all we need things we need to consciously detach from.

Your morning ray of sunshine, the Anansiv Kumar, the don't do list. Just like we have a to do list for the day, it's probably a great idea to have a don't do list also. One that we mentally run through at the start of the day, which reminds us what all things we need to consciously detach from at the very outset. Topping the list, of course, is angsting about things that we have absolutely no control over, which could range from people's reactions to and opinions about our work and ourselves, results of our efforts, sundry niggles like things that are not working in our house and so on. Cut the cord so that we don't get drawn into this line of thinking which can keep us occupied and unproductive for hours on end. As important is not getting drawn into the drama's negativity, aggression, bullying, etcetera, of toxic people in our lives, could be a boss, parent, neighbour, partner, what have you. But when they start their drama, we need to be tuned out impervious to their pubs and bites. While these two are bound to be on everyone's list, there may be other things also, destructive habits and patterns, addictions, obsessions, we each need to take cognizance of what they are and add them to our list. And then make sure to refer to the list every morning and detach and defend ourselves from all these. Set whatever shields and barriers we need to, to make sure we spend no more time in the day on them. That's the recipe to having a great day. Sunshine in your day.
