Welcome to Friendlings Podcast, where Smashville, and Hockey Town Clyde, and now your host, Rhett and Ron White, and Dila Danlox. We're back! Welcome to Friendlings Podcast, episode 93, it's been so long, I forgot one number, I actually got it written down here. But yeah, it's been quite a while, it's like, what, June May, I think our last episode, so lots happened, and before we start into it, I just want to... Yeah, if you can't, I know it's been so long since we had the sale in the finals, but it was the year of the cat. Before we roll into that, I just want to mention our social media, the Panthers. But our social media hasn't changed, it's still Friendlings Podcast, on Facebook, Discord, or what we don't use Discord anymore, Instagram. Also @PreadlingsPod on X, YouTube, and you can also listen for us on Podbean, because we're still on Podbean. They probably forgot about us all, because it's been so long. And our emails, @Preadlingspodcast@gmail.com, still waiting for some emails. So, yeah, before we kick into our beer league minute, I guess we can just kind of briefly wrap up the, you know, like I mentioned way back when the Panthers did win the Stanley Cup. So, what an exciting finals that was. I'm sure we'll probably talk more about that a little bit later, but so, yeah, it's, you know, the fall season, or I'm back playing. Hockey's right around the corner, like the real thing. Yeah, October 10th, I believe it'll start, so we just were prayers, but yeah, after my injury back in the, you know, last... I don't know if I was playing the last time we showed or had a show or not, but yeah, I'm back. Our fall season kicked off on September 19th. Game one was our first game of the season. Did you just shame yourself? And that might be new, you know, season four, you know, we got some new exciting changes, but that might be one of the new changes. But anyway, game one, I played really good. We came away with a 7-0 win. I was just solid in that. Just felt really good. I'm, you know, I wasn't, you know, didn't really put a lot of pressure. I make a win or lose. It's barely cocky. Just go out there and have fun. Had a pregame beer before that. Of course, I did in game two as well. Second last week. I felt like I played pretty good. But then you're going to hear the score and be like, how can you, how can you play? But it's like, I don't know, I just felt like I had a solid game despite a 7-4 loss. And six or seven goals hit me. Went in. One went out the shot to my stick. One went off my pad. One went off my glove. There was one that actually was on in the crease. I was sitting on it. The rough neighborhood whistle and the guy coming and jabbed it, got it free and put it in. None of my teammates came over and got them on or nothing, but that's brilliant. So that wasn't, you know, I still had fun. And we got one coming up this Thursday. It's another 920 game. So a little bit actually early compared to some of those games. But we'll see how the season progresses and, you know, that. So that's it for the beer league minute. I forgot to play the beer league minute music, but that's, I guess that's got to shake the rust off. It's been a few months. So, and I know you were mentioning, you know, the NHL season is right around the corner. Yeah, it's right there. So, you know, the preters made big splash of frequency. I think the wings made a couple signings to let's you. I guess you'll have you cover the red wings first. Yeah, for sure. I think Detroit is still trying to find their identity to be completely honest with you. You know, I hate to, you know, say that they're not going to be good because we obviously don't know anything. And I think Detroit's actually made some pretty decent moves on paper. You know, but I just, I want to just hit on, you know, a few different, you know, big names that have come and gone for the red wings as of the summer. But, you know, we lost, you know, we lost a few, a few guys who we obviously have heard on the, on the bench. You know, Daniel sprung. He's gone. I kind of like sprung. I thought he played a pretty good game. I thought it was a good fourth liner. I kind of liked the guy, but he's, you know, he became an unrestricted free agent James Reiner became an unrestricted free agent. The Shane Gather spear, the ghost and tarot Herosi, and a big one that I think Detroit, you know, couldn't miss. You know, more than just his, his skills and abilities on ice, but I think that David Peran is going to be, he's going to be somebody that's missed. I think that his leadership. For a lot, he played gritty. He stuck up for his teammates as you could probably remember from Dylan Marking last year. But, but yeah, I think Detroit is going to miss him. But on the flip side, you know, there's a few things that we definitely took care of. We had some loose ends. We had to tie up more cider. You know, he just signed a big contract. Lucas Raymond. He got his done. Jonathan Berger. We gave him a one year deal. Cider his was a seven year and Raymond his was an eight year. We did have your buddy Austin Watson come in a training camp. I haven't read too much about him. But to be honest, yeah, I'm not a big fan of him. I bashed him on the show. I don't like his off ice conduct. I just don't think that he's a Steve Iserman type guy. But you never know. I mean, we need that grit. We need that. We need somebody to play the game like he plays it, which is wrong. He won't be he won't be adding any, well, not too many goals. He might have to. No, I don't. But we don't need it. I mean, yeah, we need a guy to score goals, but we also need some toughness. We just don't have any toughness or physicality on this team. Did they end up keeping can? I can't remember. Oh, yeah. Okay, I remember. Okay, guys, I remember seeing something that he saw with somebody. But then that's no, no, there were a lot of rumors going around. Yeah, I mean, there was there's a lot of rumors going around about where he was going to end up and what he was going to do. But it just, he's staying in Detroit. I mean, there was just a picture of him and Larkin and Lucas Raymond and I forget who the others were. I apologize. They're all just hanging out at America Park cheering on your, you know, your Detroit Tigers who given a shout out to him who just won their first playoff game in 10 years. They beat the top ranked Houston Astros and in a three to one nailbiter. It's going to be a great series. Also, I'm going to go into this really quick. Is your button stuck? I think your mixer is broken. No, there's five minutes I'm never going to get back in my life. It was that long. You need to get that one off. Holy crap. That was a little I need to make one, but I'm going to say this. And I think that right now is a good time minus the Pistons to be a Detroit sports fan. You've got Michigan winning the national championship. You had the Lions go to almost the Super Bowl. This year they're looking pretty good. Shout out to Jared Goff for making a perfect 18 for 18. Also catching a pass. I know this is a hockey podcast. But Detroit fans, we've got some excitement. Let's roll that into the Red Wings. Let's keep that same passion. Let's keep that same drive. Let's be there to support our Detroit teams. And that means we got to get out there to Little Caesars and help them out. Give them the home crowd advantage. And later, I don't know how many they have like this, but later on this month in October as the season starts up for the NHL Red Wings and Lions play on the same day. Obviously the Lions play in the afternoon and then the Red Wings are playing at Little Caesar at night. So, and they're pretty close together. So, you know, get out. I'm sure those are a lot of fans in Detroit will be going to end up both of them. Yeah. And, you know, just just I want to go through this as well. This is just kind of a early predicted lines. I know that there's a lot of moving parts. You're seeing a lot of young guys playing Nate Danielson. He had a good game tonight, which I'm sure will hit a little bit on. But here's the projected lines as of now. So at center. It looks like you're going to have Larks to break it in Raymond on your top line. With Shirot and Cider as first D. Your second line is shaping up to be JT Comfer. This is a name that I forgot to mention. I totally forgot this Vladimir Terrasenko. We brought him in. He's having a really good offer preseason right now. And Patty Kane. And then on defense, you're going to have the big Simon Edvinson, which I'm excited about with Jeff Petrie. And then your third and fourth lines are going to be interchanged here. It could be Andrew cop or Joseph Valento, who they re signed this year to a two year deal. Michael Rashmisen on the left wing. It could be Elmer Soderblom, who I actually like. He's got. He's a big boy. Tyler Mott, who came in. He's playing really well. And right now it's slated possibly Austin Watson, but we'll see how that all shakes out. And then Austin Fisher on right wing Jonathan Bergren and Tim Gettinger are your right wing potentials. And you've got Olimada, William Leggenson. Eric Gustafson, Justin Hall. And then your goalie situation. Here's what we have so far in the roster. Cam Talbot. Probably going to be your starter. Alex Lyon, I think in handle a load with a good solid. First man, a good starter rather. And then who's so Jack Campbell and Gage Alexander. Gage Alexander actually came over from a trade. But I'm kind of excited for this year. I am. I think you tried sports are going to be good. I think that that passion and that desire definitely rolls into the other sports teams because you've got the tigers who got the fan base behind them They're steam rolling. You got the lions with the fan base behind them. They're steam rolling. Now it's time for the red wings to step up. Get the fan base and the steam roll. And we've got some players on this team that can really make a splash. I mean Patrick Kane. I don't care how old he is. The kids incredible. His hands are unbelievable. Lucas Raymond. He's put on 20 pounds in the last two years. And he's looking to be a force to be reckoned with this year. Larks. He's obviously always fun to watch. But the cat and Terasenko. I think those guys are going to have really good seasons this year. I know the brink of start out hot kind of fizzled off at the end of the year. I think those two guys are going to have really good years this year. I just think that they both got a kind of a prove it kind of a scenario. So I'm really hopeful and I think they can do I think they can have a good year. But that's pretty much all of the effort he tried in terms of their their off season that you know I don't have a whole lot based on you know just just from what I've seen in red and. And with the just briefly commenting on the cane you know he's he's older but he'll still get his points. But he makes other players better. Not only the players on his line obviously just because he's almost so much no experience. But off the ice as well. I mean obviously he's had off ice issues in the past with other teams. And you know he's older now. And so he can especially since these younger players for the bread wings that they're bringing up. He can kind of help him out and you know off ice and and he's got the experience of know what what to do and what not because he's been through that himself you know so he can tell me what you should do what you shouldn't do so. That they're you know because it's not just I mean obviously a big part of his is the ice but people don't realize the office is a lot too because I mean if a player is in a slump. It could not necessarily be just on the on all these stuff. He could have stuff going on the off ice you know and stuff like but you know it's I don't want to drag on and on that. But yeah I think that's just you know he and Larkin you know he's he's captain and he's still you know he's I believe he's a younger than Cain. Yeah I think we talked about age last year but yeah he's you know obviously he's a good leader especially on the ice too. But yeah I think you know came with Cain obviously he'll get his points but but yeah he'll you know he'll definitely be helping out you know the leadership aspect. Yeah what do we got for the Preds this year what are we what do you guys shaping up to look like I mean on paper you guys look very good. You know a splash and free agency. You know everybody was thinking stamp goes was going to resign with Tampa Bay especially after the you know predators traded McDonough back because they're really good friends and. Currently there is something going on as far as a contract situation with Tampa Bay and Sam Coast and he wasn't happy and well he ended up signing in Nashville. It wasn't that I think it was like something like eight million. A year I believe something like that I can't remember the exact amount number. But they you know he they also got Jonathan March is so and Brady Shea. And I mean you guys are definitely all in. I mean there's I have to imagine that your cap is pretty fast right now. After that I believe they actually had to get rid of a couple players I think the link I don't think Lincoln was too much but they obviously they lost class I think that was. I believe he went to Vancouver. Okay, I can't remember where I think. I don't remember off the top of my head, but they lost you well really he wasn't expect he wasn't really expected to stay on. They lost key for sure would Jason Zucker. How many did you sign stamp coast for. I don't remember. It was it's four years 32 million. So yeah, four years. Yeah. And you know we talked about that because Detroit was on there on his radar. That was one of the teams that was battling for him. And once he saw the asking price that's when he backed out. But I really think I mean yeah might be a little steep but. But his I think his age is what concerns Detroit and he did I know it's all pretty soon but he did he did score in the preseason debut. But just imagine what's power play is going to look like. I am not doubting. I'm not doubting that he's going to be good or bad. I'm not getting that as Steven stamp goes like he's going to play very good hockey. My only question is how long and I mean how old is he how old is he now. He is let me see real quick but as far as I think that's probably why he tries only signed him to four years. What do you mean only because that's that's a long that's a long deal. But that's he stamp goes it was 1990 because he was born so that's 24. No 34 34 34 34 yet. So he's so he's going to be. Now this is just. I don't know if he's going to be like Ovechkin. There isn't very many that yeah. OK well that's what I'm saying is that's going to play a break. Gretzky's record this year. So yeah but how old is Ovechkin like that's what I'm trying to compare ages to or something like that. Was he 41. Something he's over. He's 39. Yeah so you don't think that Stan Coase is going to be like Ovechkin. Then you obviously don't like this deal. Well I mean. But you know it's like I don't know about to say as much as I like San Coase and it's like I think it'd be awesome for Nashville because they really. Probably the biggest star they've ever had other maybe Korea at the time. But the one I'm really really high is Johnson Marches so. Oh yeah. He signed a five year 27.5 million dollar deal. I'm OK with that. I think that's a great deal. But he he he can obviously score but he's also got that gritty aspect and sure he does go as a front of the net and the car. Yeah he gets in the dirty areas he cleans up and don't be flight so out but they don't they don't want flights in the league anymore anymore anyway. You've been saying that for the last three years and your team led the league last year and fights. Well he's gone though. I believe was it. It wasn't just one person that had all your fights as a team you guys led the league in fighting. And I think that's great. I think it's I think it's absolutely tremendous. I like that part of the spread. I'm surprised I didn't find him for that. Yeah I think they're starting to see that people want to bring it back. And I think I think more and more justifications will happen as more and more of these calls get dropped by Peros and more and more teams. Start fighting fire with fire. I think especially the rent. You know look at Rempy. I mean you have to put a guy like Reeves in your lineup when you're playing Rempy. Who else in the league has somebody that can go toe to toe for him and actually match up like a heavyweight with him. Sure there's guys that'll fight him but I mean but who. I mean all I can think of is Reeves. Because Boston had what's his name there that beat up his girlfriend. Oh Lou Cheech. He's back too I think. Is he backing but I don't know I have not followed Boston at all. I barely have enough time to follow Detroit these days. So I'm not following Boston at this very second. But also I think it's going I'll definitely be into this like I'll have more. You know more understanding of what teams are doing and what not. But also another another acquisition. I'm. I mean pretty they need defense obviously probably but. Pretty shame. I really didn't. I just I'm just looking just kind of like I'm sure I've seen it and I just kind of like didn't realize it. But seven years 49 million. That's that's more than. It's more in the stand close but because it's seven years that AAV is obviously pro. Well I might be about the same as these forty nine actually but that would be about seven. Around seven right forty nine seven years forty nine sevens yeah roughly around seven a million a year I think. Compared to what eight for Stanko so maybe but it just seems you look at that price at forty nine millions like wow that's pretty high but. It is seven years and not really sure how old. That's pretty she is he was born in 1994 so he's four years younger than Stanko so. All right he might be a good guy and that really. I mean this is Rangers Rangers in Carolina but I I just. See it's hard I honestly think the trot is in at this year like it's a this year twenty twenty four twenty twenty five. I think is a. I think the predators are just going for broke I mean that literally. Bring it all you guys sign in major contracts like I just I don't see stand coast I mean he might he could prove me absolutely wrong. But as obviously you age I said this about foursberg to like in the tail end of his contract I just don't think he's going to be productive and worth the money that he's getting paid. And I kind of feel that way the stand coast and even four years. And you know dissecting that trade not trade but dissecting that pickup for the predators because I was I was just as invested in this as you were because like I said Detroit was interested in getting him. And I kept reading like all they're in talks again like all they're getting talks you know having talks and then all the sudden one day I was like. Okay. National just signed stamp coast. So obviously I jumped to the news media and I'm listening to the different people online that you know within the organization and in the one thing that kept coming up was Steve Eisenman did not like the term. He wanted to give him a two year deal. Worth similar money. And he wasn't willing to go more because the red wings are trying to get youthful. At the same time is bring in and plug different plays. And the predators have more availability to start. I mean they're more of a complete team. They've proven that. You know for the last several years he tried is always on the outside looking in Nashville's kind of on the up and up again. But I think what charges done is phenomenal. I do I think he's going for broke I don't like the terms but I think he's going for broke if he gets a Stanley Cup it was all worth it. I just, I guess the players still have a lot of young players. They did they did send you know they had a lot obviously preseason so they can have everybody up there but they re signed a bunch of players. You know because they had to cut the roster 31 getting ready for it. They'll be another caught just for the season starts but you know I think he got. I think that's a shame because it'll take a lot of pressure off of your seat. Because obviously you see was I mean they had some decent defense but he was like the guy and everybody looked at him. Now they got Brady Shea who can easily play on the first defense appearing. But they probably do you know obviously they'll probably keep you always on the first defense appearing and probably Shea and let's say pairing together which I probably. But I think they need to split them up because especially if they want to take a lot of pressure off not just offensively but defensively. And also with these new equity offensive acquisitions. It'll take a lot of the offensive pressure away from your seat too. So he can you know really hone in on the defense because he's you think you'll see and you think offense. But he he's a really I don't know if I would call him a shot down defense man. But he's he's really good. He's got a lot of offensive upside. He's smart. He knows where to put the puck. So I think he'll pick his pick his times you know it's because a lot of pressure will be off him. No shade. I think Shea is kind of like that same way too. I think I'm thinking Shea is more offensive though. But I mean we'll just see how he's used. Just real quick just you know kind of thinking some lines over. I mean you could easily put Foresburg and O'Reilly and March so but. First perspective first line could be Foresburg O'Reilly and Nyquist who they kept Nyquist. And he he last year he really seemed a gel really nice with Foresburg. And I think that could be a really dominant because O'Reilly and Foresburg they seem to play good together as well. So I mean that could be like a really hotlines you know. You know and then he got you know possibly Stan Kose with no back. He's a good younger player. It's it's I think he's just starting. I don't know if he's in his prime yet but he's like he's right there where he could really. I don't know if he'll be a 30 or 40 goals scorer but with you know March or so and Stan Kose on his line if that's the line that's going to be. He came that could be he could really be could light it up. And then with that without a doubt. You know I'm not saying Nashville's old I'm not saying that. But you guys have a number of seasoned veterans in a lot of places. Yeah and I guess with us. I mean you look at you look at Detroit and I mean you've got guys literally coming out from Grand Rapids. And that's a good portion of our of our team. Is players who literally I mean you've got Soderblum. I mean Raymond is still young cider still young. Jonathan Bergren he's still young Larkin's middle the road. You know obviously Kane is a little bit older about Tara Sanco is a little bit older but we've got a real deep youth movement. And that's why it's going to be a while for us and going back to it D law is I really I like what the predators have done. And I think you have to be excited for this season I mean even if they start out slow and lose the first 10 games it's not going to stay that way I think the predators are going to be a very good team this year. And I hate to say that because I want the red wings to be good again but I was. I got to be honest I think I think you're going to be a happy hockey fan this year. Yeah who knows but I just went in because they. They do have younger players but they you know so it's a good mix and you always you don't want to be. You definitely want to be heavy on the young side and heavy or heavy. You got to have a good mix for sure. And then you got to keep building through you know draft picks and so you can always so you're always had a younger players so has to be a cycle. So then you can get these damn coals and frequencies. And then you know so so you got you know people that have won cops and help develop the younger players so they know how to win and. Yeah instead of just like being the number one draft pick two three four years and then all of a sudden you're like. At the top of elite for like four or five years and then when that goes you're going boom you're like bad again you can't that way. I mean like the Detroit years when they were how many 20 what 20 straight playoff years or whatever. You know I mean obviously someone they probably didn't do much but but getting back to the last the lines to the last two prospective lines. Some younger players as we were talking you know got the older players. Jan Kowski, systems and Luca Benjalesa. Pretty much all young players that could be I like him. Benjales is going to be home. And then you got the fourth line could be Cole Smith, Michael McCarron and Zach LaRue who's really. Last year's age of playoffs with Milwaukee he really. They didn't really do much they lost the Western kind of finals. I know it's heartbreaking. So I mean I guess you can say it was successful but he. He had a really good playoff season. I mean playoff year he had 15 playoff points. 10 goals and five assists in 15 games I guess that's pretty much not too bad. But yeah so he's you know that that fourth line. It could be you know that's you know that it's a young line. I mean who know if I might get exploited but you know what. And then these are just perspective line prospective lines you know that they might not be the lines will. Of course. Find out we'll find out on October 10th what they're going to be. And like I mentioned you know the parents could be. And I'm not sure if you know what's going on. And then of course of course they got sorrows behind the pipe but they also they. You know they lost Lincoln in but they did they got Scott Wedgwood but they else. They signed Matt Murray who was on the Dallas Stars. Probably going to be the backup. Yeah maybe he's going to be. Oh he'll probably be in Milwaukee then because he doesn't think he's younger. They got Scott Wedgwood backing up. Yes sorrows but he's he was born 92. So he's he he's a little he's three years older sorrows. So I guess that's I mean. I guess he's a capable backup. I mean sorrows can play a lot many games but. He'll probably play at least 50 games. I would like to see him. I mean obviously 42 is half the season so he'll probably more than half. I got to be honest with you. He'll play in a plane like 60 but I you know I it's your guy he's he's a great goalie. But do you really want to play him 60 70 games. No really wear them out. Especially for the playoffs playing 50 to 55. Now I got to ask you. What do you think of letting ask Rob? Go ahead. Oh yeah I forgot about that they they end up. He he wants to play. I guess he was playing I don't have him or his agent was playing that game. The public it came out and said. He's ready for the show. I don't I personally don't think he's ready for the show. He he didn't he couldn't beat. Basically Seattle Junior. It was the team. You can't go based on that though. Coachella Valley. You can't go beat the walk in in the in the Western finals. Last year. Why do you have that mindset? Why do you have that mindset? Why do you think? Coachella Valley basically had Seattle player. They basically had the whole line. It was basically any child players. Okay. And I just and what is the issue. And I just don't think he's. I mean yeah. He's a top rated prospect in the in the entire NHL prospect. Yeah. But you can't I mean a lot of times they fizzle out and like like with other sports and that's the last goal. And but I just don't. I'm not I'm not saying he won't be. I just don't think he's ready now. I think he's maybe maybe another year. That's why I think he needs to play one more year in the NHL. And then maybe maybe in a backup role in the NHL. But you would give him that. I agree. And then and then you know get get him maybe 30 35 games. But he doesn't he want he he's he wants to be a star in the NHL. And he he's played well. I think five games or something like that in the NHL. And I just don't he's not he. He thinks he's a good. He's got that notion where he's. He thinks he's a starter right now. You can't you got to come in. Especially as a goaltender. So, you know, obviously. It would be I would have been nice to see him in the backup role. But then he's backing them up and he's probably not going to be maybe 30. Like I said, 30 35 starts. That's still more than what you were willing to give him. But he's. But he's not getting that time. If he played in Milwaukee, he'd be playing home in a game. So what they play 78 or something like that in the NHL. He wouldn't be playing 78 obviously, but he played 70, maybe 65. And he's got he had three injuries this past season. And one in the playoffs. Yeah, and I'm in. You know, maybe I can't really say he lost the Western finals because he didn't play in it because he was injured. So who knows like you're saying that he didn't, but you're saying like he didn't. Like I just I don't like your comparison about how he didn't beat. A Seattle team like you're taking a team of him. With a bunch of HTML players and if they're playing NHL players like you're saying. That actually was looking at my part because he didn't get a chance to play. Coachella Valley because he was injured. I think he played the first game. But he because he, like I said, he got injured. He injured in the playoffs. He was injured twice in a regular season. So that's another thing you got to really, you know, think about. I mean, I mean, I mean, yeah, he's young enough. He could probably overcome those injuries, but. You know, that's that's another thing you got to worry about. Is he going to be injury prone? Yeah, but you have to think about that with everybody. He could be. He absolutely could be. And you don't hope that, but he definitely could be. I just mean, I was saying when you have a statement that he's possibly the world's best goal tending prospect. Like I just read those exact words on three different. News sites. You don't let that go out of your system. You figure out like he's not guaranteed to start in San Jose. Well, wait, no, because they don't really have. They don't. They've got what Mackenzie Blackwood is over there. Now, I believe. I think he's starting for him. But what I'm, what I'm getting at D laws is that that's a big loss to you guys. I mean, you guys have groomed him. You drafted him. You found this diamond in a rough. And then you just let him walk away because you're not willing to look for the kid like. You spent on the draft. You did get something, even though it was, I think it was like a draft pick and. Something I don't remember. I think they got a prospect, gold under prospect sees. The sharks have Vidak a Vancic. And Mackenzie Blackwood, they're actually the same age, 19. They were born in 1996. So they're a little old. So I just don't. They'll probably end up, I don't know, putting them in the, in the firm team. You don't know that though. I mean, at least they've given them hope. I mean, obviously there's, and we, neither you nor I were within the conversation of what went down in that, in that meeting room. I just think, you know, and I'm asking you, because I don't know. You think that they didn't bring him up because they'd have to pay him with money they don't have because they just signed all these other players to the roster. My guest, Elon, I'm going to let you speak. But my guess is that they anticipated him wanting to stay in the AHL for another season. Move some cap space, bring him up next year and let him just go, him and juice. But they don't have that luxury this year, and he wanted it this year. That's what it sounded like from when I was reading when it all went down. He just wants to play in the AHL, which means he gets a bigger paycheck. And I don't blame the kid for wanting that. But anyway, go ahead. I asked you a question. Maybe it was just what he said, what Trott said, you know, publicly one of the reasons apparently why he traded him was because of that. All that went down one. Probably it went through the agent. He told his agent and the agent came out and said he wanted a trade. He demanded a trade. So, you know, we're at that in there. You know, the way he did it, it kind of made Nashville look bad and. And I think that's probably why Trott decided to make the trade then. It sounded like he was going to possibly trade him later on, maybe during the season or next. Season, but he, because of that incident with the agency agents. It kind of forces him to do it now. And they, they traded no one Burke with him and a third round pick. And the 25 draft. Not sure who no one Burke is. I think he's just a young prospect. But he went with Ask Ralph to San Jose. And Nashville got David Edstrom and Magnus Corona, which are prospects. They probably won't want anything. And they got a first round pick. So. I really hope San Jose. I'd like to see San Jose do good. But. For Nashville's sake, I hope the sharks get, you know, they. Really down at the bottom. They finished like down at the bottom five, because prayers get that first round pick. So that I'll just help them out. In the draft. So. You know, we'll just have to wait and see and hope it's not. I just hope it's not, you know, I just hope it's not going to button back. I mean, I hope I hope a scar off does. Have a good career and win his cops. And, you know, he's definitely got potential. I just. I just don't want to, you know, you look back and people would be laughing to credit. Oh, they had him and they traded for nothing. And that's why I kind of hoped that the sharks tank again this year. Just so the predators get that really high good first round pick. I mean, obviously a first round pick is good. And, you know, even at 30. I mean, it's not as good as the top 10, but. You never know. And speaking of draft, I just want to mention, you know, this in this year, they had the. The 22nd pick in the first round draft. You know, they obviously they had a bunch of draft, a lot of a bunch of draft picks this past year. Not going to go through them all, but the one that their first round pick, Igor Seren. He's been compared to Sam Bennett. So it'll be interesting to see him develop and. See if he can, you know, become that Sam Bennett type player that he's compared to. So I don't really like. I mean, obviously they do that. To get you some kind of what kind of player he is. I just don't like them, you know, comparing. Oh, he's like this. He's like this player. They're all you're not. He's not a clone. I mean, he's his own player. I mean, obviously they just, they just compare him to another player because of that style. So I guess you can just, I don't want to say he's compared to Sam Bennett. I was just saying, maybe he's, he's compared to Sam Bennett style. The C's got the same style. Maybe that's a better term, but better way to say it. And I was. Who was he? Who are you talking about? I'm sorry. I missed under. I don't think I heard you. The, the, the preters first round draft. Okay. This year, Igor Seren. They played Florida and the preseason. That was, that was the first preseason game. They played every year. They do that. I mean, it's, it's, it's basically all young players. I don't even, it's sorrows didn't even play until this last game against, and when they played Tim of a, they won six or nothing. And basically, I don't know why they even had sorrows saying because nobody, they had all. Everybody was sitting as far as stankos and in the lightning. I think that's, that's, that's last you was sitting to, or maybe who didn't remember. I don't really pay attention to preseason. You know, it's still in my mind, September, so summer, but you know, as, you know, they got a couple more preseason games against Carolina coming up. And then they got that, you know, the Tampa Bay one that got postponed because of the hurricane. That's on the seventh, but then the real show starts on October 10th. That's going to be an ESPN plus it's going to be a nationals. I was a game. It's a home opener season opener against Dallas. We'll get more to the regular, to schedule soon. But yeah, I'm really, really looking forward to that 10, 10 game, 10, 10, and that nice, nice number. And, and when I was doing, uh, putting the schedules in on for our weekly picks thing, I was noticing for both the red wings and the predators, a lot of these, the same schedule. It almost follows the same, sometimes the same opponent, but usually the same dates, like almost identical. It was just going to, they must just like use the same template every year after year and just plug in, I guess it's easier that way. But, um, I guess that's about all I really have for the prayers. Like I said, they signed, they, they're sent down some, you know, other, they, they had to cut the roster down. It's good, you know, that time of year when, you know, because all the younger players, all Magnus Kronay is a goaltender. He got sent down. So he'll be, he'll be seen sometime in Milwaukee. Uh, let's see who else, uh, Kel Riley. He, he, that's, uh, he's, I believe he is back. That's right. Oh, he's brother. Uh, so he's back. I don't think, I think he went somewhere else. But he's back and there she'll be. He, he got, he got, he signed in Milwaukee. Uh, Kevin Gravel. He's obviously, I didn't think he was going to be back. I mean, he's a defenseman really high on him. He looked really good last year as Milwaukee. So it'll get more time down there this year. Uh, it's about all the, all the notable someone to talk about. Um, another one. I really want to keep an eye on this year down in Milwaukee. I think he's better at Spatchkoff. Although he is, he was, uh, he's on a non roster for an injury. So hopefully he, he can get back as he's, he could be electric for, from Milwaukee and, and future predator. Um, he's just got that style there. So, but yeah, I'm really looking forward to the start of the season. And, um, we want to talk about some other. No, any gel. Uh, actually I want to mention, um, I know you just, like I said, it's pretty seasoned, but Utah, the old, old Arizona. Uh, there. The joke, the joke just keeps following him D law. I know their first goal was an ongoing. I think it must have been like, when you told me that. I, I had to, I had to just laugh. And it was all over social media. Um, just a joke. It's just like, they can't, they can't see. Did you see what I, did you see what? I mean, I have not verified this, but I'm going to look it up as soon as. Probably as soon as this shows over. So I'll come on in on it next week or one of us will. But apparently, and I don't know if this is the actual arena, but there are thousands of seats where if you look down. Yeah. The closest thing you can see is the blue line. Utah. Yes. I saw something. So you can't actually watch it. Like the whole game. Like you can't see what's happening in the goal below you. Yeah. Why would you pay money to see a game where you can only see one end of the ice? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Cause it was so small. But like I said, how, I mean, you know, how often does that even happen? I mean, I repeat happens to Pittsburgh. Um, I think it must have been obviously delayed penalty because the goalie, the goalie took off. I think the goalie was on the bench. It was obviously, and I don't know the goalie might have any ice. I don't know, but it was nothing that. I must have went off of one of the Utah players, and I just thought it was funny. And as long as we're talking about the coyotes, obviously there was, you know, when they left there was talk about them, possibly. Um, Maroule, Maroule, who owned it. They, he, he wanted to obviously try to bring them back within five years, but that's no longer an option. Uh, he pulled us off her because Arizona, uh, as far as the state, they, they backed out of the head. They were supposed to have a land auction and it was in April. I think it was supposed to be or June. Uh, but I, that sounds got funny. They backed out of land auction. It sounds like they kind of ganged up and didn't want, you know, they didn't want them to get it because Maroule, he was actually good. I mean, it was an auction, but he was dedicated. He was like, he was going to get that. Uh, auction. Um, so he pulled us off her after they backed out of land auction. So obviously Arizona show it said that, I mean, they've, basically by doing that told, said that they didn't want a team. The NHL will leave, uh, the coyotes, uh, on the table for future buyers, but Maroule, uh, he obviously terminated his rights. Um, so I don't, obviously don't think. So I think Arizona is officially dead as far as any future NHL teams. The NHL did say they were open to any new prospective ownerships, but I don't, you know, obviously the state obviously doesn't want them. Because if they did, they would have let the land action go through. But I'm hearing rumors about potential expansion. I don't think that should be. I just don't think, I think there's enough. I was 32 teams now. And two of the teams, uh, that are projected in the past possible expansion is Houston and Atlanta. Uh, Atlanta had two, two teams twice. Um, or they, yeah, two teams twice, both lost to Canada. Obviously when Calgary and Winnipeg, uh, two separate times. And Houston, they do have a. Um, they do have a HL team. I believe they still do, uh, Houston. Um, like I can't think in there. I believe they have it. They used to have like, you know, they might not. I think they still do. But they, so I, I, I don't know. I've never heard of them. I guess, well, they used to have the Houston arrows. I think those arrows, but that that was, they might not have an HL team. No, I can't remember. I don't know that I think about it. I don't think they do anymore. Cause that was a. Back when I think it was the IHL. On the IHL before they moved, uh, hurts with the HL. Or actually the, they just kind of took them over. Oh, but yeah, I guess we'll probably hear more about expansion as a season. I don't think it's a good idea. But I mean, that we thought about that last time they had expansion. So, uh, that's all I really wanted to, to just say about that. And I think we could officially put Arizona. So there is, uh, that, that song is true. There is no Arizona as far as the HL's concerned. Uh, but I just. Mark my words, D law, mark my words. Arizona will be the first team. To get another team in their city before. Atlanta. Wow. Atlanta already had two teams. I bet you it will say even like Hartford. Well, the NHL wants, you know, they, they, they, you're the committed to them. But I just don't think the state wants them. And. But if any team is going to bounce back to their original team. That's what I think would happen. I think they'd find a way to get Arizona back as long as you know who is still running the NHL. Yeah, well, he's eventually going to have to step down because he's either going to retire or she probably won't. He's not leaving unless he's in a body bag. Well, I guess he'll end up dying. No, that's not a threat. I'm just saying he's going to have a job until he dies. He's 80 some years old. I'm not sure he's got, he's pretty old. I'm not sure how. Yeah, I think the NHL definitely, and we've been talking about it for a few years. You know, this is kind of a segue, but we've been talking about this for a few years now that, you know, the NHL definitely need just a new phase. Some new life, some new blood because it's just kind of, I don't want to say it's getting stale, but the ratings are going lower. I mean, Caitlyn Clark's first basketball game had more viewers than the Boston Toronto game game for four or seven. It might have been a game seven. Yeah, I mean, it's troubling, and I love the sport of hockey. It is by far my favorite sport to watch. However, like I said, it's lion season. We've never had a good lion season, but, but I'm just saying hockey is a great sport. It's got the best fans. Give us what we want. Change the game a little bit. It's going to go faster now. Now there's going to be more hits, so get people like Bob Probert and Stu Grimson and Rob Ray and, you know, some of the heavyweights tied to me, you know, get players like that back. We've got ramping. We've got Reeves like let's who's going to match up to him. Who's next was who's the next man up. And I get you don't want to lose a roster spot on it, but for crying out loud. You know, the players I hear taking liberties on each other and literally nobody does anything. That person would do that if the NHL wasn't so hard on it. Yeah, and, uh, well, another big, kind of a big move in the air is a frequency. Patrick Elane went to the Canadians, but now he must, it must just happen. He must have been playing in preseason. I don't know how many preseason games, but now he's out two to three months with a knee sprain. So the Canadians went out. I'm not sure how much they spent for him. Too much. They went out and got him and now he's going to be gone for probably three months. If, you know, we'll see how bad that knee sprain is. I don't know what happened. I obviously had to happen in a preseason game. I suppose it could happen in practice. I don't know exactly how it happened. But it just, the Canadians just can't seem to catch a break lately. I'm not sure who else they have. I didn't really look at their rosters. Yeah. Who knows with them, you know, they needed, they ever see needed scoring because they wanted to get them. I don't know how you said line A was a big signing. Yeah. Well, I think the predators win this category already. I think they got the biggest signings in free agency. I mean, he was by far the biggest name on the market. When Steven Stancoast hits the market, it's a big deal. Kind of like Patrick Kane. I mean, I don't remember when, when they actually suck, you know, cuz he went like early, like it was at the first. It was like the first or second day of free agency. Um, you might even have been the first day as them would have been the first signing actually by the predators. Or maybe it was March or so. No, I think Brady Shane might have been. Yeah, but I'm pretty sure Stancoast was probably the first signing back in July 1st. Um, oh, yeah, it was happened. Um, it was on the line. It was a knee on the collision with Toronto's Cedric par a par a par a and it was a preseason game. Yeah, no, I get it. So, you know, those injuries have to do with the risk of preseason. I didn't see the video, so I don't know, knee on knee. So I don't know if it was a dirty hit by par a or I didn't see the video. So I'm not sure how it happened. They just collided or what happened, but. Um, but yeah, they got, uh. Oh, actually, that was a trade money traded for him. That's right. It was, uh, back in August 19th, it wasn't free and she was, it was a trade. Um, with a second on pick and, uh, actually. Just him and him and second on pick for Jordan Harris. So Jordan Harris must be. A pretty, uh, pretty high prospect. To give up, uh, Lonnie and. A second on pick. I mean, obviously the king is there. Obviously you're going to do that every day because they need. You know, money is that kind of a player, but. Uh, so I don't know. But yeah, the other injury, I don't know if you want to get into it right now. Get old Nylander, Neal. I can't. What happened? So, so here's, here's what happened. You know how. They try to do that slingshot with the stick where you've got a player going. And you kind of push the person to like give them a little bit of a boot, a boost. And I was like, that was legal, but yeah. And I forget who did it, but pushes his own teammate. Oh, give him a boost. And he goes down and he gets clipped by. I forget who is skating by. But one of the opponents got pushed right into the guy's legs. It's like, Oh my God, how can you do that? It's getting its preseason. I just think it was foolish. I mean, I get what he was trying to do. I probably would have done the same thing in this, in the same situation, but thinking about it. You know, if I was mature, I wouldn't do that. I would know like, like you're not going to see Stephen Stamkos doing that in a preseason game, trying to push one of his teammates. He was smarter than that. Why get hurt in a preseason game? Now, go ahead. You barely see him in the right in one preseason game. I think the only reason why he was in that preseason game was because. I think the only reason why he played in that preseason game was because they were probably home for his home fans, but. I thought we were talking about the glass hip. Oh, you're saying you probably won't see stankos in preseason, but you won't see stankos during the preseason game. And I was like, well, he wouldn't even be in a preseason game. I think the only reason why he played in that preseason game is because they were probably home for his home fans, but. I think the only reason why he was home opener when they really, when it really matters is because real home debut and solo tickets and whatever, but go ahead. No, so I mean, yeah, I just, I think it was kind of silly for that to happen. It should never have happened, but another one's down. Yeah, we'll see. No, I don't think it'd be a lot of injuries this year or not, but. Well, I mean, not. I mean, a lot of times there might not be maybe early in the season, but. I guess, yeah, I guess there's injuries. I mean, I'm not, I'm like minor injuries. Just these main, main injuries like funny. It's gonna be out three months and it was a preseason, but. I don't know if you want to talk about this is back going back in the playoffs. I think it was when the Vancouver Edmonton were playing the Oilers fans. Apparently, I, and now I don't ever so long ago, I don't want to talk about it. They started brawls with Vancouver and Dallas. I don't, I just want to. It's, yeah, I don't, I don't want that. No, I don't think about it. I don't want to discuss that. So they actually talked to, I mean, they, I didn't hear the segment. I missed it, but I listened to 97 one to take it every day. And it's a radio station based out of Detroit and obviously Detroit sports talk and a topic that they had discussed or apparently we're going to discuss that I missed it was about fan on fan violence and how it's been increasing in professional sports and that's the last I heard. And I mean, it's getting, it's getting noticed, you know, and I don't want to say this at national level, but, you know, these are guys that, you know, they're starting to catch some national attention. You know, they're, they're calling it out. I mean, I can't imagine that other other places I'm feeling the same thing. I mean, I know it's your, you're there for your team. And I mean, yeah, your home stands and you hate. I know I do. I hate, you know, seeing these other teams fans come in and lots. I know, especially if they're like the Red Wings, Chicago, they have a lot of followers and then they travel original six and 10. And, but that's, that's not even a good comparison because they don't, they're, they're friends don't do that Chicago, maybe. But yeah, Philadelphia. It's just like, and not only, I mean, any sport, really, but it's like, yeah, you don't want them coming into your, but they're there to root for their team and they got just much right to be there. Yeah, I know it's not their arena, but maybe they live in that area or maybe, you know, maybe they're on vacation, but they got just as much right to watch there and support their team. I mean, yeah, I know some people, some people might go a little overboard. They might have a little too much adult beverages and, you know, they don't think straight and all that, but you can't. You got to be several. I mean, you can't just just because your team and support your team, but be respectful. I guess that's what I want to say. Yeah, and I, and I agreed, Dila, you know, I've, I've, like, there's a time, I went to, I've still, I have never seen the Red Wings win a game at home at Little Caesars. I've only been four times and I've five, five times with the Joe. And I have never seen them win a game, not one. I believe I have, I think you might have. I didn't. I was just not. Was it not seen? I don't, I don't remember. One of the games I was at was a blowout. It was a seven to one. I mean, they went from. Marasic or Howard to Marasic back to Howard, all in the same game. So they had two goalie swaps in the same game. It was seven to one. The fans in front of us were from Pittsburgh. You know, sometimes they got a little more aggressively cheering. But I said, I didn't let it phase me. I was just like, yeah, you know what? You guys are playing better. You guys are having a good game. And I left it at that. You know, by the end of the game, you know, they were shaking our hands. They're, you know, being more, more respectful. Like I just, I didn't feed into it. And it sucks. You know, it sucks. I mean, what are you going to come back and say, I know you are. But what am I? No, we're getting spanked a seven to one. Like, yeah, we suck tonight. But again, it's how you conduct yourselves. Like, in that moment, I could have gone off and said, nah, you know, bunch of profanities, you know, get out of here. You're in Detroit. But what was that? What would that have gotten me? Nothing. Maybe a night in jail. It's just not worth it. Like, I'm there to have a good time drunk or not drunk. Like, I want to enjoy the game. I want to soak up the atmosphere. I want to, you know, even though we're losing, I want to cheer with the best of them and hope for some kind of a miraculous ESPN worthy comeback. And it just, you know, you just enjoy it. You can't, you can't go to games folks and act like idiots. There's kids that watch you. There are people around you that can get hurt. You know, when I'm 90 years old, if I can hobble out the door, I will still find it. At that point, I won't be working. So I can go to more Red Wings games. I'll get season tickets. But at 90 years old, I want to go and enjoy the game. I don't have to worry about a couple of drunk schmucks who think they're going to get tough and then knock me down the stairs. But no, I can't ever watch a Red Wings game again. Like, just have fun people. And God knows the tickets are the erisk are expensive enough. You don't, you want to go out there and just enjoy it and not have to worry. And as long as we're, you know, on this kind of talk about, you know, the fans, I don't know what your take is on this, but I just figured it out. And another thing that this season, this season four, I think we'll try to introduce it is a hot topic of a week. And I guess this could be it for this week. But the fans yelling during the national anthem. You know, like Dallas. I think Florida was doing it. I think Nashville does it. There might be a lot of teams. It's a national anthem. Just respect, be respectful. Don't do it at RIT also. You don't yell. It's just, it's just not respectful. uh, pressures they'll yell out. You see and everything like it. That's just one time. I mean, obviously, but as far as Dallas, the yellow stars every time they sing stars, oh, it's stars. It's like, and I don't remember. I think they're defenseless. We kind of have to. But it's just, I just don't think it's a national anthem. You got to be respectful. So you're just as upset about Nashville as you love these other teams. Oh, yeah, I just make it sure. Hold on. I called them out when I first started when I heard I was like, what? I kept listening. And I mean, obviously, most sports, you don't even see a national anthem anymore, but they do show it in hockey. Um, but and I'm hearing them and like, what is it? It's right at the beginning when they say, Oh, say, can you see? And I kept hearing, why are they yelling? And but then a couple of listening and they don't seem to do it anymore also. And then so I've been kind of paying attention, you know, every game. And it's like, Oh, you see, and like, it's kind of stupid, but to begin with, but what are they gonna? I guess when he leaves, they go, I say, come over something else. I don't know. But I just don't know. I think I don't know. I'm thinking Dallas. They started it in Dallas. I'm just gonna, I'll give them the credit. Um, Florida does, I think with red or something. I don't, they were doing that in the school playoffs. There is, I, that's Canadian. They don't obviously don't, they do all this stuff. Uh, they, they actually sing their hand and they have one of them. Why don't we do that? I mean, I love listening to the Canadian national anthem. Cause they're, I mean, every, just about every team in Canada, that they, the fans, they actually sing the anthem. And it's like, that is, you don't want to hear me sing. Well, that is, well, I do it. Just not loud. There's 20,000 other people. I don't think I could hear you over 20,000 people or 18,000 or whatever, or many are in there. But I just, I don't know. I just don't think you don't yell during the national anthem. It just means both sides of it. I see both sides of it. You want to have fun. You want it to be a fun environment. And then you've got the old school material. I think that it's a respect you show your respect to the flag and the song. And, and, and, and the people who do, do, do, I can see both sides of your life for that flag. And now I get it. I can see both sides of it. I'm not agreeing or disagreeing. But I don't know if we've spent two months, if we spend enough too much time or just enough time. I think maybe we should just kind of close the door on this for now. Yeah, I agree. Obviously, there's no more injuries. You know, those, that was like basically the main injury, biggest injury anyway, as far as, you know, it's a preseason. So, obviously during the season, there'll be more injuries, more injury news. But I just want to break going going back to Angela draft top three could be a good one for San Jose Mack on celebrating. Obviously he was projected, I believe, was he to go number one? Yeah, he was. And then Chicago, I think, of course, Chicago, another. Yeah, I think that very Batman special. That one. No, that one was, I think, Artem Lushinoff. But I think Anaheim was surprise of the draft, I believe. I remember watching, I did, I actually did watch the draft. At least the freedom. It's not a surprise. Do you try getting a horrible draft spot? That's not a surprise. Even when they have the top known fish second to worst, they still end up getting off the seventh bag. But I am selected Beckett, Sonic, I believe that was, he was actually projected to go fifth or sixth, I think. So, again, I was like the surprise of the first round or something like that. But, we'll see, we'll just kind of, you know, maybe those names, obviously, maybe they will be in the top three, they might be playing. We'll see what these, you know, the rookies and, you know, the rookie, obviously, during the season, I have a rookie watch if there's any notable ones. I think we can go, yeah, let's kind of go through. I mean, obviously, we don't have the Pred Wings 10, that's just, you know, that's the regular season thing. I just want to go through like a, like a preseason ranking, and where, where we think, you know, the top team are going to be this year. I think Florida's got the team to be, obviously, they're the defending cup champions. So, like, I put them in number one. I might be a little bit of Homer, but, and I mean, Nashville had those three, four huge signings. I think they're going to be, you know, I might be wrong on this, but I put them as, you know, number two, because, I mean, that, they possibly go Florida, Nashville, Seattle, like a final. Could you imagine that? And that might be kind of interesting, but maybe not for the Canadians, because two southern teams, but Dallas, I think they're going to be a team to beat again Edmonton. I know they're, they're not going away. Probably a little bit lower than they probably will. Who knows? I think the Rangers, they're, they're still good, and they might have some things to work out, but, you know, it's a long season. Colorado, they're, they're still a top team. I think they're getting a lot of their players back. I don't know if they really have, like, last year they had, was a mechanic who was injured to, like, halfway through the season or something. I think he's, I think he's actually healthy. Montreal, I thought that, well, you know, if Lanae is only two to three months, I mean, yeah, that's a huge part, you know, the early part of the season, depending on what they do, obviously, you don't lose, lose, you don't lose the, the, the championship in the first month, but, you know, those points, those points that, you know, you want to get those points when you can. So, we'll just have to wait and see when Lanae comes back. We'll see how Montreal reacts without him. Toronto, they're, they're, I think there'll be a tough team. St. Louis, they had a kind of rough start last year, but I think they'll find their way and then Chicago. They got some good young players. Like, you can't, I mean, they, you know, who knows, but they probably might have a better season. He'd last year. He had a pretty, pretty good, you know, I think he won the, he won the whatever, the whatever trophy. All their rookie, what are they like to call that thing, the collar? Yeah. The, I think he won that last year, but, yeah, whatever. See what he does this year. So, so here in mind, I'm just going to run through them really quick, because they're pretty similar. Florida, Dallas, New York, Nashville, Edmonton, Toronto, Colorado, Montreal, St. Louis, and I'm throwing us a surprise to try a team out there. And I'm only going to hit on both of our teams. I don't, I don't really care about the rest, personally, but for your team, I had you his fourth, because a, I want to see Stan Coase produce. I'm not saying I don't believe that he can or can't. He's just, he's getting up there in age and his, his, you know, his ability is still there, but I want to see how he meshes and how well, because sometimes you sign players and they're just not a good fit. So, yeah, that's, you brought some good big names in. And I think you guys are going to be very good. And I do think you're going to be a team to beat, but I want to see it first. And I think that's where the coaching, you know, he's got to find, you know, I, you know, maybe he'll hit it, you know, right out the gate, but the line is together, but maybe he has to adjust the lines and not just game to game in, in the game, you know, the good coaches change up lines within the game. And, and obviously, you know, game to game as well, but, you know, maybe he'll, you know, just kind of, and maybe that first game, depending on how things go, maybe you do that, you know, change up the lines in that game. Yeah, of course. Number one, just to try to find that match and, you know, maybe they'll hit it right off the gate. Maybe not. He's a great player. Maybe he could play with anybody. Who knows, but we'll just have to wait and see, you know, in my reason for talking, talking about Detroit is I think that they literally, I mean, I don't know if you remember, this still stings a little bit, but how did you try to miss the playoffs last year? I mean, it did come down to the last game. So they shot themselves in the foot. But, but they had to win. And Philly needed to tie or win. And Philly pulled their goalie. And the Capitol scored an empty net. Yeah, that was the Capitol's won. That was 10 minutes into the third period that happened. So it was an obvious intentional goal. And I forget the reasoning or what the implications were. But so it was, Detroit was right there on the edge. But, but you, but you brought in more scoring, you brought in a different goal tender. I think you could see, I think I could see Detroit adding some more offense. And I think hopefully most siders going to, you know, even progress a little bit more this year. But in, in their, in foot office defense, I mean, you can't, or more Detroit, you can't, it comes down to it. You can't rely on other teams to help you out. You have to be, you have to control your own destiny. Yeah, that's what I said. If I, if I remember correctly, in the last month or two, they have what they have like a five game losing streak. No, they had like two wins in like two months. Oh, so it was terrible. Yeah. And yeah, and that's why I said that like we shot ourselves in the foot like we did this for ourselves. And I was, I want to lose that they're to miss the playoffs in that fashion. That's, that's heartbreaking. It's intentionally let them score a goal. But if they would have won a couple more games, see, we will, of course, they wouldn't have mattered. So it wouldn't have mattered. But that's why I've got Detroit in the top 10 for now. And I, I was going to put Detroit in. I probably should have put him in and long, I mentioned him now. Not that it is a special mention, but I just think I think Detroit will make the playoffs, but they like, like we're just talking, they need to find, they need to be more consistent as far as I don't know. I can't remember like the losing streaks if they have a lot of force, a lot like a lot of five game or four game losers, but they need to like find ways more to win than find ways to lose. And I mean, the same thing with the priors, they need to find ways to win. Well, I mean, obviously the predators are meant to play out, so they did, but going back to Detroit, they need to, they can't get too high and they can't get too low. So that being said, they need to minimize the losing streaks. I mean, obviously you're probably not going to go through like win, win, win, win, win, win, but they need to like minimize the losing streak. So one or two games and now I have these five six game losing streaks two or three times a year that'll kill it. So that's what they just need to be more consistent, I guess, is what I want to say. Yeah, no, I, I agree. Detroit definitely needs to find consistency. And I think getting some consistent goal scoring, not just flashes here and there, will help and hopefully Terasenko will help with that. And then just some of our young guys bringing up some of that, that fire. So yeah, hopefully, hopefully that, that works out and I can keep them in the top 10. And then, you know, I just got to roll into some, you know, I, we mentioned obviously the first game for the predators just want to just kind of, I'm not going to go through the whole schedule. You know, we got the whole opener against Dallas and then right off the bat, you know, actually we got two in the first, first month, we got to play both games against Detroit, second games at Detroit, then we've got an ad boss and then we're back home for four. And then, you know, and Detroit's one of them. And then going back, you know, we'll get, we'll get through there, you know, later on, you know, as November, but one thing, you know, the, the annual, the CMA road trip, they always had that big road trip. It's like, like 10, 11 days because the birds don't be, we call it the CMA road trip because the CMA is, you know, they have that in Bridge, short arena. So obviously, they can't play there. And that's when they play the Canadian teams, they, you know, they start in Colorado, Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver, Seattle. So that's, that's, and it's always a tough road trip. And it's the first real road trip of the season. So, and that's where they'll, that's where they gel. That's, that's, I don't want to say it shapes the season, but it's, it's a good, it's a good indication, you know, and obviously, you know, you don't lose, you know, it just, that, it's in November. So we'll do it to see what happens. As far as Detroit, you know, they got later back down in March, notable as the stadium series, which is actually a neutral site, which I don't understand. I thought it was, I thought that was like a home game or something, but I don't know how that works. They play Columbus on that one, but they start, they actually start the same day, 10, 10, I think that's their home opener as well. They got Pittsburgh and then obviously, they're a second game, Nashville. So, so we'll see, you know, they both, both their second games, Detroit and Nashville are against each other. But, you know, I just, you know, I got the first six games just because, I mean, obviously, we're going to have a show every week. So, it might be, the first few might be a little redundant. But I think they're going to come out, you know, Dallas, I was a tough one, but I think they're going to come on win that game. I'm going to shoot myself in the foot. And then I think they are going to be Detroit, and Detroit somehow. I think maybe Sanco's will have a big day. I don't know, yeah, not that he hasn't even approved, but maybe, but I think they're going to lose to Boston, in Boston, and I think returning home to play Seattle. That's a loss. I probably, probably, I really need to pick a couple right now. But, and then Edmonton, and then, the last game, Detroit, it's a long game. It's going to win that one. Dallas win Detroit loss. Boston win. They're in, they've got some drama going on over there. So, I think that'll be a distraction. I think they're going to lose to Seattle, lose to Edmonton. And then I think they'll come back and beat Detroit at home. And I'm just going to roll into the red wings for, you know, Detroit starts out with Pittsburgh, then obviously Nashville. We've got the Rangers in New York. And then three days later, we've got the Rangers at home. And then, we've got Nashville and the Islanders, both away games. So, I'm going to go with a win-win against Pittsburgh and Nashville, a loss to the Rangers, a win to the Rangers, a loss to Nashville and a win to the Islanders. I got them beating Pittsburgh, losing to Nashville, beating the Rangers at New York. You know, that's a home at home, actually. And then, a loss to New York at home. And I don't know why switching with that. And then, another loss to Nashville, which they probably ended up splitting the season anyway, I don't know, but, and then, a win at New York. I'm sure we'll revisit it. I mean, I suppose I could probably change it, because it's not set in stone. And, well, I'm sure we'll have a season that just, I just want to do the first, actually should have been the first five, but six. So, that's it for that. And season four, exciting, exciting year. Hopefully, it'll get better as we go on, just like those first three seasons. So, you know, we made it season, we made it for the far, far years. So, we'll see what happens as the season rolls. And it's going to be, as it gets later in October, and the excitement builds up and hockey season finally gets in, and not all the fancy hockey. I don't think that's going to go on. And just don't seem to, I do have a pred wings podcast. Yeah, who fancy it is public. I do not have a password on it. So, I mean, if you want to join fancy look up pred wings podcast on Yahoo! Fantasy, hockey. And join, I don't know how that works, because they don't have, it would have me sitting in draft. So, I don't know where everybody went last year, but I guess I got too much stuff to deal with. And we're about fancy. I do do fantasy football. But, no. But anyway, I think that's a wrap for this, for this week. We'll get more. Obviously, as the season rolls in, we'll have more content.
