Now when you watch that show David Brooks is supposedly representative the Republicans who is pretty out there on the liberal side and his co-host Jonathan Capehart is an out and out racist in my opinion who knows nothing about anything except perhaps some black history. And it's a shame that- And gay history. And gay history Ben don't forget the gay history. He knows a lot about that. Yeah that's true and it's a real shame. I they used to be I listen to that program because I love Brooks David Brooks he's a very smart guy and they used to have more skills on. They used to they used to have simulating debates even. stations he is planning to attend the wake of the New York City police officer who was murdered during a Queen's traffic stop earlier this week Jonathan Diller a three-year veteran of the department was was murdered on the other night during a Queen's traffic stop that by by a couple of thugs who may have been casing a store for a robbery in the moments leading up to the fatal gunfire exchange and he's going to be waked at a at the Massa Piqua funeral home that's on Long Island before his funeral mass on on Saturday so Donald Trump is going to be going to the going to the wake and this a thug that this this thug that shot him is named Rivera Guy Rivera and and he's been arrested along with a guy named Mindy Jones they're both have records as long as they're armed Rivera had four prior arrests including a gun charge Lindy Jones is known to law enforcement for gun possession arrests and had been under electronic monitoring so that's that's the latest on on that but there there just so many there just so many crime stories to get into here today I just want to mention just a few I've got I've had a stack I've been holding for a while but it's it's just did you hear about the the little 11-year-old boy in in in Chicago who was who was gunned down by his mother's boyfriend the they had let this they had let this thug in in in Illinois out one day earlier and the the mother of this 11-year-old boy had gone and asked for a restraining order or asked for the the thug not to be released because she knew that he was going to come and try to kill her and the the Illinois prisoner review board just let him go anyway and less than 24 hours later he killed the woman's son and gravely wounded her the chair of the Illinois prisoner review board and a board member have resigned over backlash for granting the release of a man who fatally stabbed his ex-girlfriend's young son less than 24 hours after he was freed the the kid 11 years old jayden perkins was stabbed in the chest by the recently released man cressetti for that is indeed his name cressetti cressetti brown allegedly ambushed jayden and his mother in the doorway of their edgewater residents less than 24 hours after he was granted for parole the pro the prisoner review board had approved brand for parole the previous day and the woman who was whose son was killed had begged for an order of protection against cressetti brown just last month at the time he was doing 16 years for home invasion and aggravated assault but they cut him loose they cut him loose medical driver charged in deadly crash facing deportation this is providence the medical transport driver accused of causing a deadly crash nearly three years ago is now facing deportation and arrest warrant has been issued for 28 year old dada ela gucci when he failed to a guy named dada ela gucci wanted to kill somebody while driving drunk didn't show up for his court appearance i'm shocking i'm shocked to learn this he's from nigeria i guess he they call him a providence man in the in the in the local media ela gucci was driving 77 year old lina ruso home from a dialysis appointment when he crashed into an oncoming car in coven tree road island her wheelchair wasn't strapped in which caused her to slam into the back of the driver's seat the african was drunk at the time of the crash and had an open beer in his cup holder he whole industry if that happens because um the food costs are going to go up to the consumer um the people aren't going to want to work there if they're only earning minimum wage because people are going to stop tipping if they know people are in minimum wage that's going to have a ripple effect through like all delivery services and well they you know what they you know they've raised the minimum wage in california to twenty dollars an hour except for panera bread because they gave money to uh gavin newson's campaign and he went to high school with the uh guy who uh who runs a bunch of franchises out there but there was a story last week in the wall street journal ron about what it's doing is they're they're they're laying off pizza drivers who uh who have worked for them for some of these companies like pizza hut and uh you know the other uh the other chains for ten years ten years and they say they just can't afford to pay them 20 bucks an hour so so you know what they're going to do they're going to uh they're going to put it out to what the independent gig drivers and they're also trying to destroy all those independent gig operations and uh so all these uh all these fast food places in california the ones that haven't been in the bay area that haven't been shut down by the uh crime like all the uh the in and out burger and oakland the the fourth taco bells in oakland etc etc they're they're all uh they're all going to be uh destroyed by having to pay the the the price of pizza is going up to uh from like 12 bucks to what 20 bucks for an average pizza they're they're wrecking the whole uh the whole restaurant industry overall ron right i agree it's it's people might think that they're going to be happy with minimum wage but that's all they're going to get and then it's going to create more inflation yeah when they started raising the minimum wage in restaurants it led to massive layer they this this is a west coast phenomena that's moving east the uh the the new york post at risk behind bars if women's prisons are only for women why do they need to stock condoms this was in the in the sunday paper uh by a prison activist a female uh former female uh prisoner sex is illegal in every prison sex between inmates or sex with guards is strictly prohibited so why then did central california women's facility CCWF recently mount contraceptive dispensers full of colorful colorful flavored condoms in every day room just last month why provide them in prisons housing inmates without male genitalia because of course there are inmates with male genitalia in the female prisons now excuse me it's ma'am it is ma'am california lawmakers passed SB 132 three years ago known as the transgender respect agency and dignity act this legalized gender self-identification allowing for fully intact men to be housed in one of california's two female only prisons by simply declaring a non-male gender ball park count now ball park that's that's a bad word for this situation is 40 but it's hard to be sure because california refuses to publish this data and gives men the option of acquiring a new state identification number to reduce stigma stigma the floodgates have opened for men with histories of violence against women often including charges such as aggravated rape to transfer into women's general prison population facilities knowing that 92 percent of female inmates in california have been battered and beaten forcibly housing women with sexually intact males one third of whom are registered sex offenders is nothing short of cruel and unusual punishment again this is in the new york post heed my warning says this uh this former inmate female the harsh reality incarcerated women face while forced to live with dangerous men is the definition of cruel and unusual punishment and it's the fate of women nationwide there've been all okay there've been stories of us sex sex crimes being committed against women in new jersey prisons there've been the women uh women inmates impregnated not by guards that's that's a horrible tradition but by fell by fellow inmates 844 542 42 who could have ever predicted that men would want to go trans activist refuses to apologize for murder because he felt unsafe a trans activist has been sentenced to 22 years in prison this in portland oregon after being convicted of manslaughter for stabbing a cab driver to death last Easter which we're almost on the first anniversary moses lopez was wearing a dress in a tiara became enraged and used his brass knuckle knife to stab cab driver Reese lahorn lahon in the neck i hope the knife was bedazzled six days before he murdered the driver uh moses lopez was arrested in charge with felonies for using a knife to threaten a shopper at an at a by-mart well i guess he would be at a by-mart wouldn't he has about bi as opposed to a hetero mart in nearby hillsborough washington county he was released without bail and he headed to portland where he murdered the cab driver uh he just before the being arrested in hillsborough where he threatened the shopper at the by-mart he had been charged with two counts of felony unlawful use of weapons and two counts of menacing in uh coups county he was released from that jurisdiction as well he missed a court hearing on april sixth this has been a recurring theme in this hour hasn't hit missed court dates at the sentencing hearing this week the judge and victims family were hoping to hear a note of contrition from moses lopez who had already received a reduction of in his charges in a plea deal however lopez laughed joked smirked and refused to apologize for knifing his victim he was killed lopez insisted because as a trans person he felt unsafe i refuse to apologize for the lack of help that i so desperately needed he told the court i ended up in a very scary part of town where i was genuinely afraid he also mentioned a lost debit card static on the dispatchers radio and a garbled address that led the cabi to drive lopez not to lopez's apartment lopez had been partying meaning he was drunk to a destination that he had confirmed but when it dawned on lopez that he had given the wrong location the trans activists decided to stab the cabi in the back lohan bled out in the cab and the transgender activist with a history of violence against all sorts of people we've got 22 years at first lopez called 911 to demand a ride the first responders told him to call a cab the victim was a well-known musician in portland and now he's dead and the transgender activists that uh any cost is not going to run gee what what a disappointment yeah that's what tragic news she was she was just uh she was just getting started at age 67 i thought she'd be there for at least
