This Tuesday deadline day, as we're one week officially away from Election Day November 5th, we are sponsoring Killen Company News Live by First Harvest Credit Union 42 degrees and Clear will tell you how hot it's going to get well as far as the forecast anyway. In Philadelphia police say they are searching for a man who they identify as a person of interest. In the murder of a woman whose body was found wrapped in a blanket in her garage Sunday afternoon in the northeast and the north in northeast Philadelphia. She's identified the victims identified as 53-year-old Eva-Lease Lugo reported missing by her daughter investigators say they're searching for 34-year-old Miguel Aguilar. He's believed to be driving a White Chevy Express cargo van PA tag ZRR4023. There's a $20,000 reward that's being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the murder of Ms. Lugo. We have two people arrested following that high-speed police chase through Philadelphia's Ronhurst section that ended right in front of a diner that we've talked about. So police responding to the report of gunshots and this is right by a Cayuga Street there early in the wee hours of yesterday morning. Three guys at the scene ignored the officers commands sped off. Police say those suspects stopped at the Roosevelt Boulevard and Ron Street then took off on foot. So they say that two of the men are under arrest a third got away but investigators say the car these guys were driving had been stolen. I don't have further information about these suspects but still one suspect on the loose. Hyundai or Kia I'll take either one for 200 Alex. We have former President Barack Obama Bruce Springsteen John legend in North Philadelphia Leacora's Center at Temple University yesterday supporting Vice President Kamala Harris of the Vice President herself. She was not there by the way she was not in attendance. She was not. She was in Michigan. Bob Casey was there though so there was a Bob Casey sighting. Cheryl Parker she was there she was being a cheerleader as she usually is. Yes Joshua making appearance was Mr. Shapiro Josh was on the Daily Show last night. I have some of that coming up at 7 45 beautiful. So all over. So the governor was not there. Nope. Nope. Nope. No he was on the well you know he was snubbed for being Jewish. So I can't buy that was that he was asked about that on the Daily Show. Oh all right. Coming up at 7 45. There you go. That mid morning yesterday the story broke that me is making national news still this morning. Philadelphia district attorney Larry Krasner filing in court to sue to halt one Elon Musk his one million dollar daily giveaway to voters in battleground in states like Pennsylvania Krasner calls it an illegal lottery that avoids state requirements and violates consumer protection laws. Even the Philadelphia Inquirer yesterday had noted that this is a a novel lawsuit. That's how they were putting it. In other words there's not really case law that says there's no precedent for this right. Yeah that there would be so they called it novel case law or novel lawsuit. It was filed in common police court in Philadelphia. First legal action challenging the Elon Musk sort of sweepstakes. That was we've talked a lot about launched earlier this month by Musk's America pack. So Larry Krasner let me get this right will not pursue justice for crime in his city as a sworn in elected official to fight crime as the district attorney but he will create a novel suit against Elon Musk around election season. Well that's this did go viral and that's a nice way of putting it. There were people on social media not saying it as nicely as you just did. But remember this is a week ago the US Justice the Biden Harris Justice Department right warning Elon Musk the tech billionaire that his million dollar a day giveaway sweepstakes violates federal could violate. The wording was it could violate federal laws. All interestingly I think Elon Musk has stopped giving out these million dollar things since since this has happened. I thought I saw you had mentioned something like that a few days ago right. Yeah I think it was one of the stories that we didn't get to but yeah on social media. Yeah he's pretty much had enough. So darn it yourself. He's probably like well you know I save a million bucks million bucks a day. Yeah he's trying to recoup some of the money he lost on X. It's probably pocket changed to him. It is. It was a pretty cool thing. Yep. I don't know they're saying that he has ignored it. I don't know if his lawyers now have to answer the suit. His they report that his pack has given away more than nine million dollars in just over a week and nearly half of those to Pennsylvania vote was the first dude that got the check on stage. Remember how excited that guy was. Yeah. All this all of this crime and everything that's happening in this city and this is what this is what Krasner is wasting his time on. It is. What a slap in the face. I know Philadelphia residents. I don't give a you know what how much Elon Musk gives away to people who register to vote. Right. I don't care. Nobody cares. I care about being safe in my city. That's what I care about. Mm-hmm. Yep. The only people that care are the media and then the far left out there that are just offended by everything under this. It's gonna be an exhausting life waking up every day searching and seeking for something to offend you. Oh, just this guy. This guy. He's another creep. God or a don will handle him at noon. I just can't. I can't with it. I can't with this guy. Seriously. So I will watch for if Musk's attorneys, you know, if they file an answer, there's a time period. This was just filed yesterday mid-morning like I say. But the the allegation here is that Musk is trying to influence voters in the upcoming election. I'll point out that the America PAC is what they're saying is that you have to go on because I've done it. You go online and you you electronically sign a petition that says that you support the First Amendment and the Second Amendment. Can I ask you guys a question? Is it is it is it is it trying to get people to vote when Bruce Springsteen and John Legend and these guys are at the Lea Corps Center? Absolutely. Isn't the whole point of a campaign to get people out to vote? Yes, indeed. That the whole point of this. They're not saying he's not saying that. Hey, if you vote for Donald Trump, I'll give you a million dollars and you approve that you voted for Trump. He's not saying that at all. And this guy has a following of people on the left as well that love him for climate stuff and EVs and things like that. I'm believable. Well, you bring up a great point because the this concert last night, I mean, I I can tell you for a fact that Springsteen tickets, you can pay anywhere from three hundred and fifty dollars at the minimum to eight hundred plus bucks. And so on the secondary market. So yeah, I mean, you could say, well, wait a minute, those tickets at the Lea Corps Center to see both Springsteen and Obama and John Legend. What would those go for? Because it was a sold out event. So you could argue what was the value of those tickets? And is that also like bribery? Could you imagine spending eight hundred dollars on somebody who's been out of their prime for thirty years? People do it. Don't that's it. No, I don't do it. Don't punt it on that. Remember, was that two summers ago? You and Larry Barrett were supposed to go up to one person. Larry paid and I think it was like 300 bucks or 350. But then it was David's school play. So just Michael and Larry went. And it was Michael's first and only concert. They had fun. It was state college and it was a great other son experience. Yeah, it was more of a good experience father son. You know what I mean? So that was that was I think the better part of it. Did they did they did they burn one in the parking lot before going in to see? We got we have to have a stalker. You need to do a conversation. What a conversation would sound like between Bobby Kennedy and Bruce Springsteen. Oh my goodness, narrated by Greg Stalker. Oh, we're following the case of a local Delaware County woman, a mom, highly respected business woman, as well as a Pennsylvania GOP state committee woman, an RNC delegate, delegate. This is Val Bianca Niello, who now the Republican National Committee and Michael Watley demanding answers after her arrest yesterday. And Watley putting out a statement that after she was arrested after a supporter of former President Trump was arrested at an early voting polling location in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, for allegedly just encouraging voters to stay in line and cast their votes. And so the word is do not get out of line. And you can hear, you can hear Val saying that do not get out of line. She's not yelling or screaming or anything of that nature advising people of their rights. And this was in the early afternoon yesterday. And you see the police hand cuffed her behind her back. And they escort her. She walks away with them. But the GOP putting out the statement saying, do not get out of line, exercise your, you know, don't let them turn you away. Go vote. And so this is Delaware County. This is where Trump will be today. I have no doubt that, you know, Val, who by the way has attended, you know, all these different rallies and you can look at her social media. I have no, and she has pictures with Trump. I have no doubt that she, I should probably be at this rally today. She was going to call in at 10 o'clock this morning. So I was looking and thinking, Oh, is she going to be with Trump today? Maybe she'll be able to call in. So maybe she just call in anytime when you can, Val. And you said there's all sorts of video, right? That will, yes, exonerate her of whatever they claim she did. Yes. And you can, that people were posting their videos, witnesses who were right there, were putting out on social media last night saying I was right there. She was not yelling or anything of that nature. She was telling people you have the right to stay in line. It was early afternoon. And so, you know, this is under investigation. The RNC says they are looking into it. And by the way, when did yelling become a crime? I must have missed the update to the, the model penal code as to when they inserted that into the crime index. I didn't know that shouting or yelling was a crime in this country. Oh, some, you know what, Nick, some of some people were on there going trolls were trolling, Val and saying horrible language to her that was sexist language, but saying you were, you know, you must have, you must have been, you know, scream or something. But she wasn't. You can look at the video. She's very calm. And certainly they, and you see the huge line of Pete, there are lines and they're all Republicans. So that, so that is getting in line early today. If you want to do this today, it's the last day for you to get that early voting in before election day, and you can still go election day. By the way, I want to follow up really fast here. I don't, I know I'm going over, but Philadelphia Police Department, we reported on this here back in 2019, we reported on the fact that the city was going through social media of law enforcement. And the police department at the time, police officers in the union said that this was wrong, that they were being disciplined for what they were saying on social media, and they were being accused of saying things that were either racist or is sexist, racist, whatever you want to say that looks like. And so this has gone back and forth within the courts. The department was within its rights, according to a ruling that happened yesterday to fire or discipline at least 20 of those officers who made those so-called offensive postings back in 2019. This is a federal judge whose name we know well here. She ruled this is U.S. District Judge Wendy Beatlstone. I don't know if you remember her, the pandemic. Yeah, Capitol Stone hard to forget the name. So, so she made this ruling bringing an end to a lawsuit that the officers had filed against the city. And that was obviously back, you know, four years ago that they filed this thing. So they said they were disciplined over the scandal. They said they had a right to free speech. And I have to wonder now, will they, will they appeal this up to the Supreme Court? I wonder if this will go all the way to the Supreme Court of the United States. I've never been a fan of the people that go back and look at what you posted X, you know, X amount of years ago on social media and then tried to punish you in today's present state. That's real. That's real Bush League stuff. I wish people would push back against that more. Well, this guy said this in 2009 on MySpace. Yeah, so it's 20. It's 2024. Shut up. Yeah, this was, you know, this many officers called this and think about what was going on with the defon the police movement, you know, think it think about the the chilling impact, but they were going through the social media of looking at officers tattoos on their off time when maybe their arm was showing or look at examining their tattoos and saying, well, that's a racist tattoo because it's an eagle. It could be a like a Nazi eagle. And they were like, what are you talking about? It's an American could be but it was a mass police discipline and it was making national headlines. So these 20 officers were pushing back on it. Others got their jobs back. Others just left. So we'll we'll continue. I just wanted to give you that follow because I know that we talked about it at the time and we won't let this go. We'll follow up now if this is going to be an appeal to the unite to the highest court in the land. So we're following that one for you. Kalin Company News Live. All right, Don, thank you very much. Coming up next, walls, wang, and the Washington Post before we get to the cut sheet at 745. This is the Kalin Company Podcast from Talk Radio 1210 WPHD and on the free Odyssey app. So the Daily Mail continues to drop some gems. Remember they were the first and I still believe the only publication with a lot of the stuff against Doug Emhoff, right? Whether it's the domestic violence allegations or of course the confirmed story of impregnating a nanny in his first marriage before he got divorced and then married Kamala Harris. But now Tim walls, according to the Daily Mail exclusive, had a secret fling with a daughter of a top Chinese communist official during his teaching stint in China. You remember the one where he said I was there in August, but it was actually June and then he was like, wow, it was the summer of 89. Not to be confused with the summer of 69, which is Brian Adams. So you've got Tim walls and this Daily Mail exclusive where he was in a relationship with a high ranking Chinese communist official and her name was Jenna Wang, 59. She has come forward now and claims that the VP hopeful showered her with gifts and seduced her at the pokey staff accommodation at the number one high school in Foshan Guangdong Province. Ah, yes. So we have a Wang and a Guangdong going on here. All right. I'll let your mind go wherever you would like to take it. Don't please save him. Yes. I'm just reading from the Daily Mail. We've got wings and we've got dongs. So she's speaking out. Yes. She's had enough because she's come forward. And this is sad. This is sad because she basically is saying that this was a tormenting situation. And so that that's what makes it more powerful is that she's speaking out about this. Yes. They go on to say that the lovers could not risk holding hands or showing affection in public because Wang's dad was a high ranking figure in the Chinese communist party who would disown her for spending her life with a westerner. But their romance blossom behind closed doors as they sipped tea made love and listened to George Michael hit. Yeah. Yeah, baby. Fire up a little George Michael today. Yeah. I got a head face. Phil, see if George Michael did anything on October 29th at some point. Leading the then 24 year old Wang to dream about marriage and a new life in the United States. No proposal was forthcoming from the future Minnesota governor Tim Walls. However, and the shame of being treated like a prostitute eventually left Wang feeling angry and suicidal, she claims. They also go on to say that Walls had this clandestine romance with the daughter. She goes on to say that Tim was very passionate and very romantic. I can still remember dancing with him. To our favorite song, Careless Whisper. Oh, that's a that's a great song. You might come back from a break with that song. She says to the Daily Mail and an exclusive interview. The fact that we couldn't touch or kiss in public just made it all the more exciting and intense when we were finally alone. We were deeply in love and I wanted to marry Tim and start a family. So back to serious stuff here back on the ranch. Let's get to the Washington Post because this is kind of a fascinating story where you have Jeff Bezos who's come in and you know he's purchased the Washington Post and for the first time since 1988 we gave you the story yesterday that the WAPO will not endorse a presidential candidate and they follow the LA Times, the Minnesota Star Tribune and some other publications probably of lesser notoriety across the country where they're not endorsing the Democrat when traditionally they do and you don't have to be that great to get the endorsement of these left-leaning publications like the Washington Post but Jeff Bezos in response to the backlash which by the way there's a lot of backlash. Two more editorial board members have resigned from the Washington Post over the edict from Bezos to walk back the Kamala Harris endorsement from those who are in the editorial department of the Washington Post. Also, according to the Daily Beast, 200,000 subscribers have canceled their subscription after Bezos killed the endorsement. And that's not, that's not nothing. And they were losing subscribers before this big time, right? 200,000? 200,000? We had a story, I think this and the the Philadelphia Inquire about just how bad subscriptions are for a lot of these left-leaning papers that are basically, they're not bankrupt but they're certainly struggling. Now, Bezos has to come out and pen his own op-ed on the property that he owns which is the Washington Post and he says the hard truth, Americans don't trust the news media. And it would be best moving forward if we remain independent free of presidential endorsements because they don't work anyway, which is what I was talking about in the big take this morning, the death of big legacy media. So, look, you know, I would have no problem even if the New York Post or a right-leaning paper said, you know what, we're no longer endorsing presidential candidates. Fine by me, I don't think they work. There was speculation yesterday that Nicki Minaj came out and endorsed Donald Trump. These endorsements, all they are are headlines. I don't think they work one way or the other. I don't think it really matters what Kid Rock does or what Taylor Swift does or this, that or the other thing. It's one vote. It's one vote, right? Yeah, right. And I think, you know what it's become, it's become like the fashionable thing to do. I am officially endorsing so-and-so. It's like, all right, was anybody clamoring and waiting for you to make that announcement? Probably not, you know? It's like, it's like your fantasy football team. Nobody cares about it except for you, right? Nobody cares who you endorse or who you vote for unless you're, you know, a 58-year-old left-wing maniac who's a female who goes up on somebody's porch, yells into the ring doorbell cam and says, you're fighting for the devil, you're evil. Oh my god, right? Like that clip that we played for you of that lady on the cut sheet. So that was that. And then the USA Today, which is about as left as it gets, they joined the party yesterday. This was in the evening hours around dinner time and they are the latest, according to the Daily Caller, to offer up an excuse for the lack of a presidential endorsement. The USA Today comes out and says that they will instead focus on providing readers, quote, with the facts that matter and the trusted information they need to make informed decisions. That's a stark difference from four years ago when the USA Today broke with decades-old tradition to endorse Joe Biden for president. That endorsement claimed that Donald Trump wasn't, quote, a capable leader and that the US was, quote, dangerously off course. I would argue four years later here in 2024, the United States is way, way off course. So when we think about this, USA Today, Washington Post, LA Times, Minnesota Star Tribune, I mean, Don, these are outlets that typically will endorse a Democrat as long as your brain functions and your breathing and they want back Kamala Harris. Now, what's the strategy behind that? Do they think that she's a losing investment? Are they really trying to remain neutral? I can't imagine because unless they fire all their left-wing writers and start to show us with their content that they're no longer left-wing, which like in dribs and drabs, CNN tries to remain or tries to get back to being somewhat neutral by fact-checking Kamala Harris or rolling out K file. But until these papers do that, I think it's just a bunch of lip service and they just realize Harris is a bad candidate. There are headlines this morning about America's some billionaires, some CEOs hedging their bets and so I wonder if that's what Bezos is doing. Big money's on Trump, right? A lot of these billionaires. I think, you know, for these guys they think, eh, not for nothing, but he might win. Maybe you don't want to, a week before, two weeks before an election, you endorse somebody who you really believe is going to lose. I mean, there is a psychology to this. It's kind of like, you know, when let's say a sport, your sports team in your city is going to the finals or it looks like they're going to win whatever that looks like, the Super Bowl, the world's, and everybody who's never been a fan is now a fan. Right, jumps on the, so I wonder if that's part of this, that these CEOs, these billionaires like Bezos figure, you know what, Trump will be front, his administration will be friendly to me and why would I, why would I stick my neck out for somebody who's a loser? Who's going, you know, I mean, I think it's, it's business. And I think that's how Bezos is. And it just, to me, I look, I wish that I could say that all of these people want to be fair and that I believe them and good for them that they're just going to say, no more endorsements. We're going to stay out of politics, but come on, I don't believe that. I think this is about hedging your bets. I think that's what they're all doing. I think CEOs are doing it. I think that you see many of these titans of industry. I think Bezos is one of them, so it's probably a pretty smart move. Yeah, interesting to see if anybody follows suit here in the next six or seven days. Is this like the most, I can't ever remember all of these newspapers declining to endorse in my, since I've been paying attention. No, I mean, think about it. L.A. Times, biggest publication on the West Coast, while Washington Post, short of the New York Times, the biggest on the East Coast. I mean, the Minnesota Star Tribune is the big paper in the state that Tim Walz is the governor. Like, if you can't get California and Minnesota, where the top two people on your ticket are from, I mean, what does that say? Yeah. Look, I mean, there was just that study that was released about Americans distrust in media, you know, to Don's point, do you think you want to think that maybe they had that in mind when they were just like, okay, like, we're, we're not, but it's never, it's never that. And I, I don't think that, you know, Bezos, say what you will about him. I mean, he's a smart business guy. Yeah. But Greg, he's on. I mean, but he owns, he owns Blue Origin, which is a space exploration company reportedly. Yeah. Folks from Blue Origin met with Trump hours after he issued that statement. So you think he's taking the same path as Elon Musk, maybe? Well, yeah. Elon is a competitor of hits. So if you're with, if you, if you run the state as space exploration company, Blue Origin, Origin, and you see Elon right there with Trump, you're thinking, rutrow, you know, this is a competition for saying, look at me. Don't forget about me. Right. Yeah. Got to stay in the headlines. These are big, you know, government contracts. Yep. And big egos and big money. I also feel like you're, you're, you're, you're racing any sort of credibility that you had, not that, you know, when you endorse a candidate, like the, the newspaper's job is to hold politicians feet to the fire. Yeah. That's what you would think, right? I mean, like that's, that's what, that's what, that's what journalists used to do. They used to be the gatekeepers to, you know, making sure that, that politicians aren't running away with their power, right? Checks and balances. And, and you know, when you, when you're a newspaper and you endorse a candidate, it kind of puts every reporting that you do, all the reporting you do out to like, okay, well, we know where they're coming from. Yeah, they're biased, then there's a slam on it. So I can understand, like, I don't even know why we went down this road to begin with for newspapers endorsing. Yeah. So like, I feel like this is a good correction, but it just seems, ah, that it's happening now. And, and I'm, I don't believe in coincidences. So I do believed on is correct that there's more to this than just the, you know, democracy dies in darkness, but I, I don't know. I, I just feel like the whole narrative of, and even the New York Post endorsing Trump, like newspapers should not be in the business of endorsing any candidate. And who, and who owns the Post and Fox and, right? It's all the Murdoch family. So, you know, you look at all of these billionaires and the, and that's just the influence of American billionaires and what they get out of the deal. It's being reported, um, in the daily beast picked up by the guard, the guardian that Trump, quote, wanted to make sure Bezos did what he said he was going to do and meaning put out the editorial that they're not going to endorse any, any political candidate, any presidential candidates anymore ever. But then Trump met with the Blue Origin people. That's what is being, that's the, that's what's being reported here. So if we see the New York time or the, the Washington Post endorsed a candidate in the next couple of years, we know that that's this total BS, which I think they will. In 2028, Trump's gone and there's a presumably a better Democrat candidate unless somehow Kamala wins, and then she's the incumbent and they endorse somebody and it was all BS. Did the New York Times endorse Kamala? I know the Inquirer did. Yes, New York Times did. Yeah. She's the, I forget, it was like a five word. She's the choice of America or some, some ridiculous, it was a long spread. I mentioned it a few weeks ago on the show. Yeah, they endorsed her. 745 is inching closer. We'll come back. And I really, I think it's just wonderful. I love that when I really look forward to your pieces, Nick, every one of them, your interviews, and just the way that you honor people who have served. And also sometimes your interviews include information as far as how others can become involved. That's part of it. You know, and Veterans Day obviously coming up in November 11th, obviously. And it's just, I love that you do this and it keeps alive the spirit of just honoring those who have served or family members of those, you know, those families who have lost loved ones. Yeah, by the way, thank you, Phil, on question. The link to this is on the YouTube chat. So, if you're in the YouTube chat, you can click on it if you have anybody that you want to. I don't want to say the word nominate because we're not like, it's not an award. It's not a prize, but we want to honor, you know, we want to honor them as many as we possibly can all week. But you want to shine a light on individuals. You're proud. So it could be a family member, it could be a teacher at your school co-worker. So I think it's wonderful. As both of my grandfathers fought in World War II, like this is neither of them are with us anymore. But this is something near and dear to my heart. So I think it's a good thing that we're honoring the greatest generation because there's not many of them left. That's right. All right. Yeah. By the way, we're never going to do Gen Zers. Okay. I'm going to go fight, but you know, I don't know. There was a cool podcast on that I wanted to listen to. Unless it's sponsored, then I'll do it. I'm a capitalist and a corporate whore just like Greg. All right. 755. Let's find out what's on the cut sheet for Tuesday. What's on the cut sheet? Oh, it's on the cut sheet. All these choose these sponsored by Cherry Hill Volvo right now get 3.99% financing on select new Volvo's for 72 months. He's stored for details. They always go the extra mile for their customers because relationships matter at Cherry Hill Volvo. Cherry Hill Volvo. Check that model route. 17 Cherry Hill, Cherry Hill Volvo, where relationships matter. Bill, Sean, I'm going to start with cut 21 here. So yesterday, Nick Cal, we asked somebody to put together a compilation of the many Kamala Harris accents. Ask and he shall receive. Yes. You know everything. Well, that's one of them, Nick Cal. Thank you. I'm glad you played that. I'm glad you played that because there is a. Thank you for watching. If you're watching on YouTube, you can see the different names that we have for these for these accents. But Nick, if you want to narrow it alone or just, you know, if you're driving, don't close your eyes. But just take yourself away and pretend that Kamala washer in your brain. All right. Cut 21, Phil. Go. Thank unions every day for the five day work week for the weekend. For paid leave if you've got it. Still got work to do. You better thank your union member for sick leave. You better thank your union member for paid leave. You better thank your union member for vacation time. Let's just get through the next 64 days and you all helped us win in 2020 and we won't do it again in 2024. I love you back. How did you know empathy man? You know, if you're the the suffering of other people, have you no sense of purpose? Weeping may endure for a night. Black preacher may seem hard. The work may seem heavy, but joy come in the morning and church morning is on its way. Wow. There you have it. So we've got white. We've got black. We've got black preacher. We've got Hispanic and we've got Jamaican man. She left out Jewish Greek under those. That's Joe. Yeah. So between Joe and Kamala, they have every accent, every nationality, every religion. And as we know, they're the party of 14 genders. So they really do span the globe in every demographic. It's really, you know what? Honestly, I think we should remove term limits and we should just let Joe and Kamala preside over the country for as long as they would like because they leave no stone unturned and nobody will be left behind. We hear all the time about how if you say if you're here illegally, we should deport you. That's racist, right? Yeah. Sean Ferris on Friday as Trump and his closing statement. What did he use? It was like a he said it was like a slingshot, right? It was like the Trump of all Trump, a catapult. Well, Hillary Clinton from 2008 would like to have a word with both of you because this is but this is different than Bill Clinton of 1995. Yes. This is this is a different this is a different version when Hillary Clinton and I blew 2008. She was what? She was a senator right on New York. Yeah. Yes. I wish I could hear you upon her. She lost the button. She she she sounded very racist in this comment. Cut five, Phil. So I think we got to have tough conditions. Tell people to come out of the shadows. If they've committed a crime, deport them. No questions. Wow, you're gone. Depart them. You're gone. Get out of here. If they've been working and our law abiding, we should say here are the conditions for you staying. You have to pay a stiff fine because you came here illegally. Oh, you have to pay back taxes repercussions. You have to try to learn English. We have to learn English. Learn English. Get in line. Learn English. Get in line. Everybody else when they came here a hundred years ago, man, man, 16 years ago. I never knew that Hillary was a racist. Sorry guys. I didn't realize I didn't realize that I had played a Trump. You know, that did have Hitler elements to it. I got to tell you. Yeah. It seemed a bit fascist. Yes, it was. Yeah. So Bill Clinton said the same thing basically in 1995, but you know, he was a Democrat. Yeah. Hillary Clinton 13 years later says a bunch of stuff that if you say that in 2016-20. Basically, if you say it during the Trump era of politics, you're a racist. By the way, everybody watching right now on a YouTube over 700 of you watching right now on YouTube, please hit the like button and hit the subscribe button. Please hit the like button and hit the subscribe button. This is the highly rated, highly respected what's on the cut sheet for this Tuesday morning. Okay. Remember, we were told that if Kamala Harris, if you mispronounce your name, right, Kamala, like the Ugandan giant. Yeah. If if. Yeah, I know, but Kamala was a wrestler in the 80s. Yeah, he choked up Bobby Hina. If we were that's that's not true. If you are if you mispronounce your name, it's racist. Right. Here's a here's a montage of the of the media and the progressives. You mispronouncing Kamala's name. I guess their rates is too cut for if they'll go. Hate campaign against Kamala Harris has begun. You'll notice they purposefully pronounce her name long canada harris canada harris canada harris canada harris canada harris the camel Harris was a very good prosecutor camel Harris camel Harris camel Harris camel Harris camel Harris camel Harris I know her I know her that hamilla was first Biden and Camilla Harris camel Harris camel Harris camel Harris camel Harris Mel Harris camel Harris camel Harris okay, so what is it so we know the name is? Kamala Right like it's like the comma c o m m a hyphen la, which I think was actually on a teleprompter recently Mm-hmm. I'm not sure if it was for Kamala Harris or somebody at a Kamala Harris rally But on the prompter they phonetic phonetically spelled it out. It's c o m m a hyphen la So it's Kamala, but my question is what one is more what's wrong version is more racist Kamala or Kamala. Well, that's just it. It's So mispronounced just well, we pointed out wasn't last week Springsteen, where was he Georgia? I forget and he was saying her name and a whole new bizarre what remember that it was like Kamala He said her way her name in a way. I haven't even heard only Greg can say it the way Bruce says it Greg, can you say it the way Bruce would have said it? Camilla It was weird though remember that he said they can't yeah or something bizarre So that gets confusing when in fact people on the stage who are talking about and stumping for her They're mispronouncing it. So there are just as many I would say Democrats were saying it incorrectly It does get can I will say it gets confusing. Yeah, and I think most people who mispronounced her name Sir don't mean to and I don't even know did she change the print the pronunciation of her? Has she always pronounced it this way or was it just always mispronounced? You know if policies and indications She's probably flipped that around Well, maybe that that's possible. Yeah, by the way I was I was I was and I'm many meetings yesterday dawn So forgive me if I if I if I didn't hear this did you did you on your show play the JD Vance? Margaret Brennan clip If we I'm Greg, I forgive me. I know every day is every day is like I I want to play it again here. This is so we played JD Vance and Jake Tapper they went back and forth you even highlighted it this morning Nick Kaelin your big take by the way if you want to go back to the Rewind feature of the program and you can rewind to about what like 618 or so Yeah, I finally got to it. Yeah, so it started at 610. We're so much new 615. Now. It's like 620 We get my big takes wrap up at 629. It's all it's it's all good. We we all have a lot to say but he also did an interview with Margaret Brennan from a face the nation and So there's this there's this thing happening where JD Vance's wife Usha, right? Mm-hmm Everybody is like saying like is she like a closet Hillary supporter or something like that? I don't know because she's not out on the campaign trail. Okay So they asked they do have little kids Margaret Brennan's attempt to Pit his wife against him. It's just this back and forth is kind of astounding to me I guess it shouldn't be at this point, but this is cut seven-field girl. I want to ask you about polling and where we are in this campaign sure former Republican Congressman Liz Cheney called you and Donald Trump misogynistic pigs She urged voters to look at what you have said in the past and she said of you personally quote You've got a real women problem Do you think your ticket has a women problem? No? I don't think that we do but we have to make our best case to women and to men as well as we can and of course Women and men are going to decide where the chips ultimately fall I think it's a more interesting reflection of Kamala Harris's campaign that at this late stage She's not talking about how she can lower the price of groceries because she raised the price of groceries She's not talking about how she can lower the price of housing because her policies saw a 40% increase in the cost of housing She's going to Michigan with Liz Cheney the person whose father is responsible for the deaths of millions of innocent Arabs and tens of thousands of innocent American troops and saying Effectively that if you elect me, I'm gonna have the foreign policy of Dick and Liz Cheney I don't think that message is gonna fly in Michigan. I don't think it flies in Pennsylvania either on the topic though of of how the campaign is doing RCBS polling shows a significant gender gap here 40% of women say the Trump campaign is paying too much attention to men's Concerns 56% of women say the Trump campaign is paying too little Attention to women's concerns. You say one of your top advisors is your wife Usha. Yeah So what is she telling you because the data says you do have a women problem? Well, what she's telling me is we got to make the case to women as well as we can and ultimately trust in the wisdom of those women To make a determination about what's in the best interest of their family All I can say to women voters and frankly the men voters too, but to all Americans is I think that Donald Trump is the person Who's gonna lower the cost of groceries? I know that Donald Trump is the person who's going to secure the southern border Donald Trump has a plan to open up American energy to lower the cost of goods and to make our neighborhoods and communities Safer, I know a lot of women care a lot about the safety of their communities What does it say about Kamala Harris's leadership that violent crime has gone up? What does it say about the fact that fentanyl overdose deaths have increased under her leadership? I think that we can make a good case to women, but I'm not gonna tell them who they have to vote for I'm gonna try to persuade them the voters are ultimately gonna decide So very interesting for the standpoint of yes, there is a gender gap There's so many articles being written on a daily basis about said gender gap. I've got one here from Vox I mean, we've we've gone through all these stories But I think he handled that well there from the standpoint of here's your pitch to women And by the way the title nine things should be a bigger pitch and make that more of their platform to women But here's how you're gonna be sell Trump and Vance to women We're gonna lower the kitchen table issue costs of groceries filling up the minivan with the gas Crime women being raped. We're gonna close the border I would also throw in the title nine protections, you know in the sports bathroom locker room venue But no the reality is that is the biggest liability for Trump It's the you know suburban middle-aged woman post Roe v. Wade now I didn't really get the sense there that Margaret Brennan was was fishing too much for JD Vance's wife's Personal political I don't know like I just feel like is is your wife and like what she's saying about this like? I don't know you think so she should have been off limits. No, not that she should be off limits I just feel like what is your wife saying about this? Mm-hmm I don't know it just seems to be like like his wife speaks for women and all women vote under one umbrella You know what I mean like I don't know I just don't what do you think because it is a little odd I mean we've seen his wife a few times I think at the RNC and in a few other settings, but she's pretty much you know in in the backdrop so to speak She's not really out there. Yeah, she's I mean, she's a professor. She's a busy professional. She's got kids three young children But I think JD Vance opens the door when he has said she is his top advisor So is it I didn't think that it was too far out because he does say she's a top advisor Yeah, so that makes it if he had never said that then that would have been strange But to ask you know, what is your wife sharing with you maybe I think that that one is a provocative question to try to get Something out of him that maybe because he's doing so many different interviews. Yeah, if I'm interviewing him I'm trying to think of something different. Yeah, and that's I'll I'll defend Margaret Brennan on this one I think that she was trying to evoke a different answer that because we're he's so good and he's on like every show He doesn't turn anything down that this I think she was just trying to just get something different out of him But by evoke something out of him Trying to take have him take the bait to create a sound bite or Or just to say she's not there as an ally. No, no, no But I think that that you know if you're CBS you want to make news you want to make a headline of course You know because what if he says something like well my wife's, you know, whatever his whatever she could say That it might make a headline that is different than anybody has you know gotten out of him as far as what she's telling him Like what if his wife said, you know, you should really be careful on this or you know You should really be careful on this issue or or you know Republicans have not been great on this issue or something of that nature, you know Anything that he could say like that would be a good headline So like grabber last night at the Lea Corps Center at temple University was the big Kamala Harris rally that Kamala Harris wasn't at We had Brock obama Bruce Springsteen John legend Shirel Parker Bob Casey, Jr. Oh All the big guns no superior though came out. Well, he was on the daily show. I will get to him in one second All right, let's start with John legend Phil. This is cut 25 here. This is John legend Thanks saying a couple songs did a couple tunes, but also, you know gave a speech for Kamala gave a shout out to Philly Everybody loves give shout shout outs to Philly 25 Phil go And sisterly affection Nice we're going for each year. I don't know if y'all know this, but I love Philadelphia, all right Why I spent some of the best years of my life here in Philadelphia. I went to college here and then it got the hell out Same here a lot of songs made a lot of music here and there's no place I'd rather be tonight at this crucial moment in our nation's history than in the city that gave us our founding documents, was it cold in there? Why did you rent a big over? I know the blueprint For the great democracy that we've become Mmm, and I'm so proud and grateful to have been invited here by the next president of the United States of America Kamala Harris It's like a public address announcer and now the starting lineup for your temple University Elle's I look My Filled it some research. There was nothing happening at the Wells Fargo Center last night. Yeah Well, they're not selling out so that explains because we talked about this yesterday Why not do the Wells Fargo Center? Why not do citizens Bank Park the link? Well if the candidate's not going to be there Not that she's a massive draw, but then why go to a place that holds 20,000 or 44,000 or 65,000 when you can pack in the Lea Cora Center, which is I Don't know 8,000 I can look it up for you real quick. I should know I went there. I graduated in that exact building I don't I don't think it moves in the needle like oh, none of this does none of this does I'm I'm not playing it cuz I think it moves the needle I you know first of all it happened in our backyard That's why I'm playing and but 10 about 10,200. Yeah, I just you know look I've said this before we've done all of like we've seen this dance many times before in 2004 in 2000 and 16 and it didn't work then I don't think it's gonna work now now It's just when we compare and contrast the closing arguments You had Kamala Harris in Houston with Beyonce she doesn't perform despite the fact The advertisement was basically saying she would perform so it was a bait and switch and then in Philadelphia where she spent a ton of time and God knows Joe and Kamala collectively since 2021 Have been in the Philadelphia greater area over 32 times by the way You bring out all of these people that are pandering for you, but you don't attend yourself Yeah, now compare that to Trump with McDonald's viral Joe Rogan most downloaded podcasts in the history of the Joe Rogan podcast and then Madison Square Garden short of the joke that didn't land on Puerto Rico being a floating pile of trash basically I Mean you compare these two closing arguments if it was a prosecutor and a defense attorney if Trump's the defense attorney Trump short of the one slip up. That's not technically directly his fault His closing argument has been way more impressive than Kamala Harris's if closing arguments matter So you brought up the Beyonce thing. I want to play this. I don't know the this was released on I think TikTok, but it was Fox News picked it up. So I'm going with it It's a video of a woman screaming at a toddler outside of a vice president Kamala Harris I saw this but I've been waiting for some sort of Verification, it's going yeah, it's going viral on social media So this is this happened at the Texas rally Friday Outside of the Beyonce will be Nelson Kamala Harris rally. Where's the duo Phil? Can you play cut 13 here? This is an apparent Harris rally or screaming at a baby in a stroller Do we have it yeah, it's playing now, okay, I guess there's no audio so you have a White girl, let's just keep running run it on loop boys I don't know how long this is but I like to go back to the beginning part So I can describe this you got a white girl with a teal top and black shorts She shouts down at what looks to be like maybe a two year old in a stroller Yeah, the dad also in a teal shirt now picks her up this girl's like bent over hunched over Shouting and then you have a black girl who says to the white girl. No, no, you're not based on paraphrasing here You're not gonna do that to a toddler that that's not cool that ends right now good for that girl for stepping in I don't know that this I'm assuming all of these people are Harris supporters I mean, she's literally having like a conversation with the two-year-old. This is this is my fault I have the audio because it needed to be bleep. So I'm okay yelling a fill and it's my fault. Okay Now she's yelling at little but looks to be the dad Who the dad has scooped up the two-year-old and is holding her like any dad would Okay, so now that girls now the dad has a microphone in his hand if you notice that yeah So my question is is the dad also there as a common supporter or is the dad there? Trying to troll and do something as a Trump supporter which would be weird because why would you bring your two-year-old? so I've got to imagine that they're all Harris supporters and Maybe the girl that's ticked off and it's not the right. It's not you should I'm not defending her I don't know. Maybe she's pissed at Beyonce didn't sing. I have no idea what's going on there I this thing went viral and I still don't understand the context of it that that that father You know, I know it's a female that would have done that, but I would have lost my I would have lost my man Not a hard for be the dad there and not like I would have lost my mind. Yeah What person nothing worse than an unhinged white chick What person means down in the face of it toddler like that who's who strapped in a Stroller so the kid can't go anywhere and she's like leaning down I know in her face and just screaming in her face. What it was that a crazy broad. Yeah, it's what we call them. Yeah All right, let's get back to the lea core center Bruce Springsteen then took the stand And then he he played three songs, but he also spoke Let's cut let's play cut 26 Phil. I just a little bit of Bruce Springsteen here speaking to the rally goers got 26 It was all about Trump and JD Vance Here's why I want a president who reveres the Constitution Who does not threaten but wants to protect and guide our great democracy Who believes in the rule of law and the peaceful transfer of power? Who will fight for women's rights a woman's right to choose And who wants to create a middle-class economy that will serve all our citizens There's only one candidate in this election who holds those principles dear. That's Kamala Harris You know if you sat there and you said to yourself Sunday why the hell is a OC and Tim walls playing Madden? Why why is Kamala Harris grabbing a pint with Gretchen Whitmer? It's because their attempts to win men have been so bad because you're trotting out men like Bruce Springsteen To talk about female reproductive rights that doesn't you so if Trump's biggest liability now Maybe that resonates when you're talking about Bruce there and abortion and stuff like that That certainly resonates with women, but we're if we're comparing both sides biggest vulnerability earlier in the cut sheet We played the JD Vance Margaret Brennan clip. How do you do better with women? Well, let's flip it around with Kamala How do you do better with men? I got news for you Bruce ain't the ticket I? Dude, I I was talking about this with my little my wife last night. Excuse me something my throat the cool factor right now is Trump on with Trump having the kill Tony guy. I know it's controversial, but still he's cool The the kill Tony guy Joe Rogan doing three of longs podcast He is he is knocking it out of the park with the quote-unquote cool fact All of which are younger. Well Kamala Harris white dude Bruce Springsteen Beyonce to her like I mean It is there a lot of Gen Z that Tara's what Beyonce has to say, you know with all due respect I think Beyonce is about 10 years removed from her from being Taylor from Taylor Swift Oh, okay, Taylor Swift is taking the mantle, right? I thought he was gonna like step into it there and say yeah No, I don't want Nancy Mayce to come at me or anybody or don't stand or don't send us But if you're talking about pop sensation music box office hits I mean Beyonce, you know from like when I graduated college, you know six You know that's one right around when Taylor Swift started to kind of break in Taylor Swift has supplanted Beyonce John John legend again I don't think moves the needle with you know the younger people So like if you're if you're just looking at the cool factor as far as this stuff goes I mean Trump has it right now. I agree and and You know you could say well the the comedian was a misstep on the Trump campaign I don't know if it was I don't know if it was because they're again I said this earlier. I'm gonna say it again. They're not trying to reach us They're not trying to reach the people that were offended by it. They they either have you or they don't they're trying to reach Those 18 to 29 year olds we we read the stat yesterday six percent so far have voted nationally six percent They're trying to get the people who don't normally vote who Who are literally? You know are choosing between that and the couch. That's who they're trying to get out Yeah, and that's the Joe Rogan could kill tote. That's that that's that demo. Yeah, you're right Donald Trump actually said it best a few weeks ago when he was in New York City listen to this Harry get your fat ass out of the couch That is gonna vote the Trump today that that's who he's trying that's who he's trying to reach Yep, not us and not not the people who aren't gonna vote for me Yeah, you're right some 24 year old sitting on the couch playing Xbox and gaming Then Bruce came out with one of his hits that he played on acoustic guitar Everybody at 822 in the morning is you're stuck in traffic on the scoocle expressway or free kale and cup of the concert Sing along everybody cut 24 fill go I ain't got nothing to say come on in the morning. I'm in the morning The hell version is this We all are I I could use just a little help You can't start a fire without a spark By the way, it sucks. Yes, it does it's so terrible. Oh god. It's terrible By the way, Bruce Springsteen born on September 23rd 1949 folks. He's 75 years old Yeah, you know for a campaign that tries to say this that or the other thing well They love trotting out the old white guy. You got Bruce. You got Joe You got Bill Clinton you go on down the list for for you know a party that says all white men are Racists and bad boy. They sure know how to pick them don't they by the way on you know I despise Bruce Springsteen, but he looks great for 75 just saying yeah He's three years younger than Trump. Yeah, let us not forget But he's had some health problems his wife Patty obviously is has had a cancer battle that was recently Released but I think he's had some voice problems and you can hear that so this song Obviously one of his famous songs and he's not he doesn't sound like himself to me He sounds Like you know his voice is not as powerful and strong as it as it used to be and that's why I think he only sang I believe three songs I think they all like I don't think John legend sang more than three songs Yeah, the whole thing was only two hours long so by the way you're talking about the cool factor in Trump doing Rogan Apparently Rogan. This is from the New York Post has shot down the Kamala Harris podcast interview over the campaigns demands Joe Rogan says he shot down a podcast interview with Kamala Harris after her campaign made several demands But insist that he so hopes it still can happen Let's see if there's any can I read you the tweet. Yeah, he says for the record the Harris campaign has not this is This is directly from his Twitter. Okay. The for the record the Harris campaign has not passed on doing the podcast They offered a date for Tuesday, but I would have had to travel to her and they only wanted to do an hour Yeah, Trump said three. Yeah, I strongly feel the best way to do it is in the studio in Austin My sincere wish is to just have a nice conversation and get to know her as a human being I really hope we can make it happen. She can't do it She can't do it folks Trump did three hours unscripted literally flipped the script and started interviewing Joe Rogan She wants to do one third of what the lady of what what Trump think about this Remember that Trump is fatigued. He's exhausted remember that that little narrative that they the left tried to put out there He did three hours and probably could have kept going do you I? They don't really want to do no, of course they don't but but to be fair to their campaign though like She's his audience is not gonna vote for her anyway, right? Well, I don't know I mean Rogan's not necessarily a staunch conservative or a Republican. Yeah, but it's more of a Bobby Kennedy Agreed, but it's it's just a different now. I don't think that it's a well if independents are gonna make up the the deciding vote I that's a demographic. You want to reach right? Yeah, I you know, I would think any other candidate would do it. Yeah, and so To me I think that because Rogan if you watch him, he's a conversationalist This is not a tough interview and so my feeling is well, what then is she afraid of she's what what I perceive that? She's really afraid of is of being herself. You know what I would do honest to God And I'm not just saying this for the sake of creating radio. I actually think this would work for her go on and Smoke weed with Joe Rogan. Oh, no. Oh, yes. Oh, yes No, because then she's really gonna be herself like he Remember that up until very recently she was considered like one of the most progressive people in DC far left of Bernie So can you imagine her or drink beers with him talking? No, she was doing it with Gretchen Whitmer Not really okay. Well then be authentic to read us. No do something that finally says Hey, this is maybe it's not what I do all the time, but I'm cool I can sit here and chop it up over cocktails. If I'm on her campaign I'm like shut that down. No, because Nick think about it. She's trying to look commander in chiefy, right? She's she's trying to write She spent one point one billion and she's trying I'm telling you it would I think it would cut through no no no She's gonna she would get she would start giggling and she would start saying things that are far left Because that's who she is and that's what they want to hide They don't want to show how progressive and hard how seriously how far left she really is no no no That would be that would be very bad for her. I think I think if she sat there and she's uh, you know dropping a few Explatives and then she says Joe hand me another Bud Light. Nope and part of it too And I'll say this is as a woman It's it is a little different because you are running for for an office that is that you could be you know You're arguably the most powerful person in the world when you're you're the president of the United States of America So you think she's never held that job? I was gonna say she being held to a different standard course of course women are of course But could somebody like you know Conda Lisa Rice I'll bring up a name from the past and yes She worked for a Republican administration. She's been critical of Trump shop. I'll take somebody like Condi rice I think she has the bona fides I think she doesn't have to prove who she is as far as somebody who wears the uniform who was Known as smart and respectable and all of that I think with the vice president right now She is someone who does have to prove herself because she was considered a lightweight Obama Then took the stage at the Leah Court Center last night and an Eagles chant broke out Oh, jeez where the pandering just never ends. I swear This is cut 22 filled out That was just a pats giving up for John and his outstanding introduction ran the steps Yeah Greg was right dawn was right Talk about the bears With a couple of great friends giving up for John legend and Bruce face I mean Say what you will about Obama, but he's really good at this. Oh, they're really good at this. They love him I mean this crowd loves him. I'm sure Democrats wish that he could just run for a third term I mean look at the crowd, but yeah fourth arm actually Good one, but think about it. I mean think about 20, you know We talked about 2016 that Obama came here and it didn't it did zilch for Hillary so they're all coming out to see the star power and I and I'll also submit to you that when we saw Springsteen in was it Georgia and he does look like he's you know, he's lost weight and he's Had these voice issues and so on and so forth. I think they added John John legend because you saw the community in Georgia kind of looking like who is this guy again? Or they this wasn't their crowd so to speak. So I don't know that a Philadelphia crowd necessarily, you know here an urban crowd is necessarily the Springsteen demographic when you look at who attends his as somebody who's attended his concerts. Oh, yes, not a lot of Diversity Traditionally within a Springsteen concert, so I don't think these are necessarily Springsteen fans So I think that's why they were wise to add John legend Yeah, how much longer does because I've said the Clinton thing doesn't work I don't think Clinton bill or Hillary especially bill does not resonate with today's younger voter It was so long ago I mean you guys been out of office for 25 years How much how much more shelf life do you think Obama has because I mean and I know we're only worried about 2024 right now But you think they can really roll out Obama again for years from now Jesus. They're still rolling out bill Clinton Yeah, I know but it does it work. No, I mean I would argue Obama's got more cache at this point than Clinton But it's also it's also Very disrespectful and again I still think this is gonna backfire on them to some extent because there are black voters out there that say what you just because Obama Tells me it to do x-wire if Obama tells me to jump off a bridge am I gonna do it and people are? They feel disrespected by that. I genuinely believe that. Yeah, 20 25% of people do Yeah, I think that Barack Obama is a super star for people and people who grew up with him Especially, you know teenagers first-time voters. I think they love him and but I think that They at the same point That doesn't mean that if he says go vote for this individual that they're going to do it We've seen it in the past. I just so I think on one hand is he a rock star for Democrats? Absolutely, you know in four years when he's just turning 67. Do I think he'll still be a rock star? Yeah But we know from the past that they're not going to listen to a Barack Obama or a Michelle Obama Who they love they wish they were back in the White House. Well the Democrats wish they had Michelle as the candidate. Yeah Can we I know we can continue we have we can continue on the other side I have I still have Josh Shapiro on the Daily Show last night also a GOP strategist banned for life from from CNN for something he said last night Maybe Frank once got banned for wearing a toupee. Make sure you tell them don't send you This is the Kaling company podcast from talk radio 12 10 W Ph T and on the free Odyssey app governor Tim Walsh did a Did a live stream you can see it's a madden Call of a Madden football game professional football game Obviously not playing they were playing video games and he did it with AOC and I guess I Guess the goal is to try to appeal to the young male vote by playing video games online with AOC And I don't know who I don't know who came up with that idea, but but I guess afterwards You know because Tim Walsh and Colin Harris they always like talk about project 2025 and you know Which by the way is a complete dishonest disgrace project 2025 has nothing to do with the Trump campaign and it never has but set that to the side He's he was talking about playbooks and trying to connect that to project 2025 and he said, you know, yes yesterday AOC She did very good. She run She ran a pick six. Sorry Jamie. I get confused. I'm running ran, so I think like you know, you don't you don't run a pick six you run the west coast offense You're right off and you know three four the fourth three Do you like it made me realize that I think that even though they state Tim Walsh was a college football coach Then I think I know more about football than Tim Walsh He might and And it's appropriate because I think my running mate Donald J Trump knows more about working at McDonald's than Kamala Harris does He does, you know, it is fascinating. You like Tim Walls He he they trying to make him like you know how to be the old ball coach around back in the day You know, he was this grizzled guy and then he became more of a Feminist so to speak or a beta male or he's he's the rebranded masculinity. You know who he reminds me of it I've coined him mr. Potato Head, which by the way, I've filed the trademark stuff for that So nobody steal that or I'm gonna sue the hell out of you You know what he reminds me of he's he's farmer friend the football coach from The water boy without him Sandler Remember farmer friend. Yeah, he's got the overalls on and the straw hat and he can't let you can understand the word. He's saying That's amazing Walls it's amazing and then by the way, it's just it doesn't rent like I don't know I can't see many men saying man. Yeah, you know what? I was there's a little undecided But you know now that you tabbed Timmy over Josh Shapiro By the way, I think Josh Shapiro probably knows more about football than Tim Walls. Yeah, speaking of Josh Shapiro He was on the daily show. Thank you for that tea up Nick. He was on the daily show last night with John Stewart and Stewart asked him start with cut 27 here Phil Stewart asked him if the people of pa are exhausted because it's a swing state And all we see are candidates here adds here and all that it's it's exhausting as somebody at you know Who's a Pennsylvania resident? Yes? I I hate that we're a swing state dude this weekend Honest to God because I watch way too much football. That's probably healthy for you. There were five ads There were Donald Trump Kamala Harris Bob Casey Dave McCormick and gambling ads. Yeah, there's the only five things You saw this weekend. Yep. Yep cut 27 Phil go are they tired yet of the swing state status of the constant barnstorming your your lovely state of Pennsylvania? I mean look yes and no, it's close right But but let me just for those of you out there kind of worrying about this the last two presidential races in Pennsylvania Came down to a less than a point. So of course the polls are gonna be close now Are folks tired of maybe some of the commercials and things on TV? Yeah But I think folks also understand that they have an extraordinary power here and with that power Comes your real responsibility. Listen to me. You can't just sit here and quote spider-man How do I go let me take a lead here? He steals he steals from Barack Obama. He goes from spider-man Yeah, yeah he the presentation is very good, but everything is Much much like Kamala Harris much like many Democrats. It's all stolen. It's all plagiarized They all worship at the altar of Obama, but I will still I still say to this day He would have been a much better pick for Kamala Harris for vice president. He would have been a much better choice than Kamala Harris We'll get to that in Honestly, if you were if you were to if you were to armchair quarterback this Monday morning quarterback this revisionist history Yeah, here and I actually literally thought cuz I knew you were gonna play Shapiro I thought about this while I was going to the potty. All right I want you to think about this if you were to re-rank it. No, I use hand sanitizer It's quicker and it's better. Wait, wait, hang on before you do that gross, right? No, you have to wash your hands No, he's sanitizer. Yeah, no, no, we're on a time to break and by the way, I don't have to touch him Leave you cannot leave the no bathroom without no watching your hand The sink you touch the towel thing. No, it's filthy with the hand sanitizer. It's automated No, you just put your hands under the air soap and water out goes Open water. Nothing beats open water. I get it if you're in a pinch hand sanitizer. You're not in a pinch There's a sink right there soap and water. Nothing beats open water fight me Soccer's gonna die on that hill. I am gonna die on that hill So as I was at using the potty so if you were to rank the top five options to throw up against Trump right now I would have said right now from one to five. Oh, Michelle Obama number one Shapiro to Gavin three stay with Joe for Kamala five that that's how I would rank him right now Michelle lock win for Democrats Shapiro Republicans are sweating. Yeah Gavin. You know, he's a weasel. You know, he's a failure Probably a close race Joe and then Kamala. That's how I would rank the if the Democrats could do it over again right now They had their choice. All right, then let's move on since since you just brought this up Let's move on Phil to cut 29. I'll get to 20 in one second. Let's start with quit cut 29 on him not being picked as vice president Cut 29 go for you Was it was it disappointing was there a feeling that you had of like? You know people said like oh, it's because he's Jewish or to ambition like was there something inside you that thought What was it that? No, okay, not at all. Listen first off Kamala Harris made an outstanding pick in Tim He's done. He's a great guy. His wife Gwen is great friends with my wife Lori These are great public servants and Tim walls is gonna be a great vice president of the United States And I am all in for Kamala Harris and Tim walls, right? And you've been by the way Really bones forming Pennsylvania, I mean you're you're really to you. What's the key in Pennsylvania that you believe like? He's got a tremendous amount of strength. You think in the rural areas does it come down once again to sort of the suburbs of Bucks County Is it about turnout in Philadelphia? What are the parameters of what makes Pennsylvania's a complicated place? Yeah? Look, I guess the answer is all of the above, right, right? You mentioned Bucks County pretty swingy county in a swing state sure turn out in Phillies critically important But don't write off those rural areas. I spent a lot of time out there I spent a lot of time listening folks delivering for them. They'll vote for a Democrat. The good news is Kamala Harris They did I mean they years ago those were really blue areas the the blue collar areas Yeah, and look some of that's changed over time But part of it is I think they've been you know sort of thirsting for someone who's gonna speak to their challenge I'll give you one example that when I was running for governor I spent a lot of time in those communities I remember being in a in a hunt club in Butler County And one of the folks was talking to me about the fact that they feel like they can never get ahead then all the college degree I feel like they can never get ahead they can get on roof talks and governor never actually Never actually trying to lift them up First thing I did when I got elected governor literally first executive order I signed was doing away with the college degree requirement for 92% of state government jobs It's 66,000 jobs. That's a requirement. You can't work in state government without a college I couldn't go forward now you can't for most states that way or is that I can't speak to the other states, right? Right a whole lot of things are always a lot of the private sector things We set these artificial barriers to entry where folks aren't given a shot Folks, I just I love that. I love the above folks folks. Well, it's it's F. Okay. Yes, not F O L K s Yeah, I don't believe a word he said when it comes to whether or not it bothered him that he was not selected I think it does and I think he's a political animal I'll defer to Don Don knows him better than I do on a somewhat of a personal or professional level But I would say if I had to guess as to why Shapiro probably thinks he got snubbed if in fact He truly did want it which I do think he did I would say it's 70 30 because he's Jewish and the 30% being because he can actually outshine Kamala Harris And she didn't want him to steal the headlines in the spotlight You can never have the number you can't have the backup quarterback with more ability than the starter Right. Yeah, I think both I called it the you know Pennsylvania Passover that passed him over and This this okay this election upcoming November 5th. It is a referendum There's no question and this is a it represents a revolution. What is that revolution? So on one hand if Trump wins and some say he's gonna win by the pot you get the popular vote others say no No, no, the Democrats are still going to prevail because let us not forget the Democrats out number Republicans So what if let's just take the scenario that Trump does win that he prevails and he wins this election and wins places like Virginia Pennsylvania, what does that mean? That means that it's a referendum on these far left progressives Mm-hmm. We saw it happen here in Philadelphia with Mayor Cheryl Parker Helen Kim, right? Exactly against Helen Kim who by the way remember AOC was here in Philadelphia Campaigning everybody and and Philadelphia's were like, oh, we don't want the far left progressives went with a Cheryl Parker Who's probably more in line with in truth at his heart? Josh Shapiro who was always considered a very moderate? Democrat in purple, Pennsylvania, but on the other hand, will it be the the Democrats hope that this is a referendum on the far right? Mm-hmm. As a matter of fact, that's where the vice president today She will be and they're they're advertising this as oh vice president Harris She will be in the very spot where Trump was in DC inciting the J6 insurrection And this is symbolic and this is her closing argument This is the the talking point and so will it be the final the final referendum on the far right? I suspect I really believe in my heart that at the end of the day people look at this and they look at the economy They look at what's happening. They look at a known brand and at the end of the day if you look at all the polls that have been Very consistent. Who did people trust more with the economy peace and prosperity? I think Trump will win. I don't think it's going to be by this wide margin of a popular vote though It's going to be close which means everyone needs to vote Yeah, it's funny because you talk about referendums on the extremes and the fringes But if you actually get away from the rhetoric and you look at the policy Trump is closer to moderate than Kamala Harris's We talked about that in the poll of who do you view to be the more extreme on either side? And more people viewed Kamala Harris to be more far left than Donald Trump is far right Which is which is true and I'm glad those polls are reflective of it But this could be the blessing in disguise for Shapiro because if you think about it if Trump wins Shapiro I think automatically by default becomes the Dem's top choice in 2028 now knock on wood Hopefully this doesn't happen, but if Kamala Harris wins Josh Shapiro has no idea when his national future will arrive because if Kamala wins She's in office until 2028. She will presumably run again for reelection And if she wins she's in there for eight years if she doesn't then you would think the same policy would apply so to speak Because you know Kamala couldn't be leapfrogged right because it would be sexist and racist So you have Tim walls lying in the weeds And I'm sure he would like to be the next Joe Biden where I served as vice president and now I'd like to run his president So selfishly for Shapiro I think deep down inside if he wants to get into the Oval Office His quickest path to doing so is Trump winning this year and then he runs against presumably JD Vance because Trump will be termed out Four years from now Yeah, I mean and that's and that's a piece of it will will Trump heat Trump does what one thing that he said does not talk about very much as Something that we know is that obviously he cannot run for reelection And so he's he by the nature of it is teeing up the next generation I would say on both sides when you look at Josh Shapiro and then look at his counterparts So you look at JD Vance you look at Governor Huckabee Sanders for example her father Mike Huckabee will be in Delco today with Trump Before heading then off to the Reading area while they stomp but you know I think that we have we have a lot of you know in the upcoming generations For Democrats and Republicans, but I think that To me personally my hope and my prayer is that this whole progressive movement Which I don't think has played well the whole DEI thing the whole defund the police move it all of that I think Once Trump wins November 5th. That's all done. It's behind us But we've also seen people get that lost their reelection bids, right Jamal Bowman There's another squad member of that lost. I forget what her name is. So yeah And at that point then if you think about it, it allows that the Josh Shapiro's of the of the world, right? It allows somebody like that to move back where he began his political career, which was More moderate toward the middle, right? By the way, I still haven't gotten to the GOP strategist who's been banned for life Can we do that on the other side? Yes, we can by the way moving forward the cut sheet will start at 752 and end roughly around 920, you know, we're just gonna have to sleep here and start it fine. I am no Imagine hearing that at 5 a.m. No, well, you could you imagine what that would be like. I want to push us back not forward I agree 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. That's the new killing company pitch. Don't go anywhere by the way We have we have that GOP strategist banned for life. What did he say? We have it coming up? As we continue killing companies stay right there Start your day with killing company week day morning 6 till 10. I'll talk radio 12 10 WPHT and the free Odyssey app
