Happy Sunday. Welcome to the day after on the inside Texas football YouTube channel powered by inside Texas calm I'm Joe Cook got coached up. We didn't get to talk much on here before after the game So this is our chance and we appreciate y'all tuning in Dustin so close so close so close We appreciate everybody tuning in. We'll kind of keep it free flowing on this one Of course, we have a lot of different stuff over on inside Texas calm You posted what what we learned you posted about you know, and I've written about Silas Bolden's play stuff like that You should go check out that article book But what did we learn from this game for Texas? You know, some of the kind of instance we're gonna see and I thought this team had a way of beating people in multiple ways Even when the offense isn't clicking to start out with like the defense is always gonna show up I thought special team showed up. I even though Silas Bolden still scared me a little bit because he has a metal department turn He doesn't like Man, what about tree wise and like man making people missing space breaking multiple types of like And then my guy Gunnar Hellman's MVP. I love that guy man, but Well, this is a complete team right when somebody has an off-air Maybe just decide picks you up if they're ever having a bad down-air the offense can pick the defensive knee Be right and he can provide a spark from anywhere on the team And that's sign of a complete team to me and I thought so from the beginning But now you're starting to see it throughout the season continue to be that way. It says a lot. I like that you mentioned that You know, if there's a area that's not up to par For any reason, there's other areas that can pick them up Obviously yesterday the the offense was sputtering in the first quarter And the defense still you know faced with back-to-back short fields what Oklahoma just managed three points So that was big and then once the offense started kind of got things going It was you know that this this gain has played out So I think basically all six times this year like once Texas gets ahead two scores Teams aren't scoring fit fast enough I'm to score fast enough to get back into that game and Texas can can sit on them and You and like you said you mentioned that you know when a certain aspect is off other areas can overcome it Yours was off, but I expect them to be back To form against Georgia. Yeah, that was not a good Quinn Ears game. I don't think it wasn't like Their Oklahoma State 2022 is down here and then like I don't know big 12 championships up here It was closer to here than here, but it wasn't like, you know, and it was it was probably like a C plus game Something like that, right? Yeah, definitely. I thought you know what one thing I thought was I was like Well, I haven't told the screen passes right because usually I get some in rhythm and that was maybe not the first quarter Maybe midway first cause like yo, maybe we need those quick screens Just kind of get them settle if anybody plays basketball like getting one shot to go in making a layup Might get your game going sounds like go to quick screen Get his game going because he hadn't really taken many deep shots And I thought he was looking for it for the first time like trying to look for the deep shot versus like everything else is open And so I thought start kind of got himself, especially with the running game So I was good to see him kind of gain his composure back though the one thing that I kind of picked up on I feel like was after that first interception I Didn't I can't really recall like another like risky errant throw You know, there wasn't really anything that bad and I think that has to do with Starks play calling Just being like, okay. This is the version of when I've got today, right? But a lot of it was like, okay Well, if this if it's just a guy I got this the guy I got and but at the same time, you know This is a a quarterback and a team that has talked about how the season goals rest on Quinn yours ability Not no arches arch even admitted that I know I talked about that and They but that doesn't mean that, you know, that's gonna get it done I think we all know it's not and in Quinn to his credit took some ownership. He's like look you can say it's rust He wasn't gonna claim that he's like I practiced the last two weeks like maybe it's a little different when you can Actually get tackled and sacked. Yeah, but you know at the same time He he was willing to take ownership of it. So I I give him credit for that. Did you see what? Brent Venable said in the post game Whether it be a question about the telling gap. He's like, I don't know so I That was asked by Barry Trammel who I think works for the Tulsa newspaper and I think you can go watch it on the video I don't think he understood the question But I also kind of think that he did and didn't want to go in a detail on it at the same time like and I'm kind of thinking about like yeah, there is a huge gap like it took In granted to to Oklahoma's credit It took a lot from them last year. It took a lot of mistakes from Texas last year but like you're looking at situations where Texas is just able to overcome problems in ways that Brent Venables, Oklahoma cannot Yeah, definitely and I thought one thing was Ebony I almost felt like oh you raised the white flag on offense completely yesterday. He's like, yeah after the first drive They kind of raised the white flag. I was like, you know, you don't get his kid a chance You took one day shot dead completed and you never tried it again like what was that about and so This is not an era of football where you can just say, hey, we're gonna play great defense punt the ball and play special team like it's not gonna work away, especially a team like Texas and so Yeah, I don't know me. I don't know what the game plan was. I think we talked about it before Still don't know what the offensive team was or in Oklahoma, but uh, yeah Oklahoma Oklahoma has talent issues and quarterbacks gonna be the main focus of that but like in and We've kind of had our jabs at Brennan Thompson the guy still runs at 10-1 like you can't just like drop back and just send them on a fly one they didn't even try that once and I think it was just yeah They they were not even trying it felt like to exploit a lot of the different Things that they could add they're just like we're gonna run the ball and use the threat of the run game and that didn't even work because Michael Hawkins couldn't keep control the ball and that leads me to the next thing Anthony Hills starting to play like that all-american in me He absolutely, you know, I think we talked about this beginning the season that he did he wouldn't just play tradition traditional linebacker He's lining up everywhere and showing that he can be flexible. He's multiple. He can do a lot of different things He's dropping the cover. She's rushing off the edge He's mugging up an a gap and then dropping or and bringing pressure like this kid is everywhere. He's flying Do you see him at the cover the curl flats? It's like, okay, like this is the complete line back of who can do it all And so he's really coming to his own man I think the game is really really slowed down for him and you can see him just read you reacting fast. I don't mean to kind of remind him of a OU player, but Now looks like Kenneth Murray evolved at OU when he was like that. He was exactly like him. I think that's actually a like that comparison because I'm trying to think of like because even Kenneth Murray, I think I remember coming out of high school It's like well, he doesn't do a lot of a lot of linebacker stuff quite yet I'm yet, you know, he got there and that was when I had defense and bad defenses that he got there I Like that and like you said, he's doing a lot of great stuff in the middle. What do you think of LaFalle playing alongside him? Oh, man that kid is aggressive. He comes down here. He's looking to hit everything that moves. I mean looking at it Binder has been playing great up to this point. So I kind of see him get to start means he has to trust that this defensive staff Maybe I thought he was a better fit, but I thought he played well Stephanie, especially They went with two back stuff. He was like, oh, no, I'm tired of this I know what they're doing. I'm just gonna tack down here and he kind of lit up Taylor Taylor Taylor in the backfield. So I Think, you know, he's playing well and he started the game is kind of slowing down from him as well You can kind of see they're just reacting. They're not like thinking anymore. They're just playing downhill playing fast So I think those nastas doing a great job in that room because even tie Anthony Smith got in the game He was playing fast and striking downhill. It's like, okay, you've got to get it mentally So I thought you did well though. I think one of the benefits to and man This is so unique to this program at least for the first time in a long time Is that you're watching the end of that game and you still got Michael Hawkins Taylor Tatum Vivante Barnes like Oklahoma's trying to get some pride points. They're trying to make it 34-10 not look as bad and There are a lot of there are a lot of starters in there still for Texas But like you mentioned tie Anthony Smith's in there Colton Vossack got a lot of opportunities and played well Mo black, but the you know kind of guys Jelani McDonald, you know, some guys who they Texas likes But maybe aren't like regular frontline guys But they have these opportunities now to give these frontline guys The chance to play against opposing team's first stringers. Mm-hmm. Who knows how motivated they were at that point But also have something to play for like those guys want to keep that no touchdown Street going or you know, they want to limit the the sooners to just Just three points and I thought that was that was definitely a I thought something really really cool to see and you know That gave look that was something look founded last year whether it be on special teams or another opportunities Yeah, and it's also something that you know, we're gonna probably see Texas reap the benefit of when it comes to tie Anthony Smith more so with Jelani McDonald. Yeah, Holt and Vossack like all those guys are either sec first or second-year players They're gonna be looking a lot better Before we keep on going and of course if you are in here make sure to get some questions in we'll go through these during the show Gotta go show some love to Andre the lawyer and with that This video is brought to you by Andre the lawyer if you're injured trust the team that secured millions for their clients and helped thousands of Texans with their injury case Car wrecks slip and falls 18 Wheeler accidents on the job injuries and wrongful deaths Don't let insurance tell you what your claim is worth higher Andre the lawyer to fight for you Principal offices in Dallas, but they serve Texans throughout the state So don't wait and call Andre the lawyer today at 214-444-8808 That's 214-444-8808. The contact information is in the description Thank you, Elsie. Good question from Josh Dutton. Do we know the extent of Isaiah Bond's injury? Sark said yesterday. He said it was an ankle His agent I believe his agent tweeted out something that said, you know, he's fine It's it's something that's gonna knock him out of this game, but it's not something. It's not a major injury Still I wouldn't be surprised if he pops up on the injury report if you know Left the game and it's gonna be going through that But it didn't sound like there was a whole whole lot of concern and plus that Opportunity the opportunity that came from that was again taken full advantage of by Ryan Wingo Man, you know, I picked Ryan Wing with my guy I picked to say hey, he's gonna make his staple in the in their every robbery for the first time Because he's just so special he makes big splash plate and then he got his first catch I mean he almost took it to the house, right? And then he gets the reverse. He almost took that to the house I was like, yo, this guy's special. I also got to see a lot of more solid voting get regular snaps Early in the game other than special teams. So It's good to have good quality depth on your team I'll tell you that because we really didn't miss a beat those guys still got open and and so it was uh It was good to see that you never want to see a guy go down But man, if God goes down, you know, you got somebody else who can step in and produce just on the same level It says a lot about your program and where it's at Do you know what Ryan Wingo's average yards per touch is? Uh, I want to say I saw yesterday. It's like almost around 28 somewhere around there It he is averaging 25 yards per touch. Yeah The main yards per rush Yeah, is he a thoroughly rush at this point on the team he well, I don't know. He may actually be Two attempts for 80 yards. So that has him Uh Oh, where is it? He's behind He's sixth He's behind arch and a few more behind calling page and who knows how long that's gonna last Uh, so yeah, it is uh, it's He is somebody who I think uh, no matter what happens with Isaiah Vaughn Um, I I don't see how you don't start getting him more more touches and also you you mentioned bolden I know with those types of players Five seven, you know 160 There's a temptation to do gadget stuff. Yeah, and with bolden They trust him enough to play as just a normal wide receiver Right and he he did that. That's that's what he was on the field for yesterday. We made his diet in clay Do you think maybe they should Not be afraid to do more gadget stuff with him. Just you know embrace that I say this maybe they worked on it just hadn't needed to show it yet Um, because I'm sure they have plans for him I mean, I think he does my role of kind of Thing is to evolve and he's gonna get more snaps on offense. I feel like so Um, maybe they're just saving it, you know, the soccer's really uh, he really wanted to ever see me pass He tried it twice, you know, so yeah Maybe it's in the works. It's in the bag somewhere. It just no need to bring it out quite jet and maybe you know Haven't really needed to um, so stay that one for down the line. Maybe the playoffs I think that that's something they can do. I'd also like to see stark and he's done this in the past and he may have done it in this game Put a receiver in the back field Just kind of swap a receiver in a back like that Is You would think it's like, okay. Well, he's just here and that's my assignment but sometimes like a defense can have a linebacker assigned to cover the back and if you know, that's Silas bolding back there that guy's gonna outrun the linebacker. Yeah, definitely I feel like that's something we may end up seeing maybe a little bit more towards The end of the year or maybe against Georgia. This is going to be another week Where you got to have some offensive execution Uh and throw some stuff at him to really get a a tough A tough opponent a tough look, but I think I wouldn't be surprised there's still more that has not been utilized by Steve Sarkeesian Yeah, like this game. That was first time I seen the little diamond bunch formation They ran on how to miss shadow. That was first time I seen it Um It was open throughout the game every time he went to it. So I'll say okay. He added a little twist to this. I like it Um, so I'm sure they saved him some of the Georgia He's creative and you know again, they barely even threw down field. So that aspect's still there. Yeah Brett nelson, I like this question. Trey wisener has to be the starter now, right? Uh, I think I think with how This team and sark at this point Basically splits carries Percentage wise like 45 45 10 With wisener blue and gibson Yeah, I would give him the honor of being the starter. I I think he's earned it at this point. What about you? Look, uh, I might say yes. I think wisener Uh, and me and homie did a breakdown of him You kind of saw his growth in the last year when he got obviously was he carried how good he got more carries Yeah, and he's kind of carried over into the season To me. Yes, I think you call him the starter at this point. I think he's shown he's proven that uh plus he's more consistent Um, but making people miss making the first tackle or miss He's very patient. He may not be as fast as blue But I think that's to his advantage. He can actually see the hole, right? He makes the right cut back and he's the running lane the way you need to Um, another thing is like ball security and I know blue didn't follow his date But most of the time get hit. I saw the ball move. I was like, oh, don't let me know cover it up, man And so ball security is huge especially these next coming weeks There's probably a lot of defenses who make an attempt to strip the ball. And so ball security is huge and I think Why does it just has the trust of the coaches more going forward? I'm about to find a picture From from will Gallagher and I think it is of Wiesner's touchdown run where he actually got the all 43 yards And made it into the end zone And you can tell somebody told him on the sidelines like hey You got to keep that ball high and you got to keep that ball tight. Let's see if I can find it Oh, yeah. Oh, it is it is like Here one second. It's good. Great. You're right. Um, he did promise those ends off. I got about that I'm gonna go. That's the huge play ball. There it is. Oh, that is that is high and tight right there It's made he got it up there Yeah, oh man all four points. I love it. Yeah He is looking at the scoreboard to make sure somebody's behind him. He kind of sees his eyes looking up like all right. I'm good Not happening this time and I think uh kelvin banks did the the touchdown pose A couple times during the course of of that game. So um that that lesson was learned pretty quick Yeah by by the uh long horned backs Trying to look through uh some more nathan with a good one Our texas o lineman gonna be finalists for the outland the rimmington and the joe moord Let's see outland is best interior lineman offense or defense and he's gonna have competition from lsu And I who is like a big defensive tackle who's having a a big year or is there one big gap board? I can't think Uh, you think it was last now. So saw him play last night. Some of these I can't think it was named him, but he's dominating. Um I'm trying to think if anybody else has done any defense line interior roomington center wise. Yeah, it's tough for me to not think majors is playing at a level to win that uh joe moord I Yeah, I I think you'll find a lot of media outside the texas circle be like They just are able to sit on teams like oh texas hasn't played anybody. Well, that's why they have allowed 6.7 points per game, you know, like that's And then that's why they score, you know, they're scoring offense is big when talking about the the o line so I I think this is definitely within realm or reason. Yeah, but I have a I have a take that i'm fostering about offensive line and kelvin bank specifically There's a good chance. He's the best offensive tackle in program history by the time his career is done even if his career ends after this year Because i'm trying to think and hopefully people in the comments can can help me out like I know they've had outland winner's uh cherry sizemore. I think was was a big one for for texas uh, but like And I know blake brockermaier was good was was blake brockermaier good all three years Yeah, I think that's tough. Um, you have some guys John the scott with the inner with the inner running put out the maybe uh mike williams Yeah, uh, well. No other davis. Not a little bit the big mike. Um, I think man that's Like he could he it's not unreasonable that i'm saying this no it is not i'm really trying to think now like yo, that's You might be honest on with that one And then obviously tommy novus is is in there in a certain category Uh, and he did it both ways. But you know his pro position was on defense. Um, he would have been good at anything Uh, but I I think there's uh, jester blaylock. That's a good one from uh david roles Uh, but it's not I feel good that it's like not out of the realm of possibility Right For me to be even be mentioning this that's that's that's a really good take. I like that Especially if he goes one one I don't know who's going to be uh In one one in the conversation that the team picking up there, but yeah, let's see Wayne watson just want to let you know we we talked about this a few minutes earlier in the video, uh, his Uh agent said he was fine. Nothing major just would be out for the game Uh, and then we have an update on it on on inside texas Uh trying to see some more. Oh, here's a good one But he david williams as a wider coach What's your view of isa bond running deep crossing route similar to exaver worthy Thresh veneer. I hope bond recovers. He could be a threat in that aspect assuming health assuming he's back for georgia What do you think this one? Uh, oh, no, I don't think i'm a and i'm not a receivance coach. I tell you that but i I think he can be used multiple ways because he's so fast. I think to cross him route with his speed He's probably gonna take two or three guys with him right because he's going to cross their face so fast That he opens up a lot. Um, and so I think he can be using that in that aspect, but I think Um, you really want him going vertical. I'm not sure he's the guy that goes across the middle much Um, but I mean, I mean shit. It sucks offense. You gotta be able to do everything You can't just be oh, I'm just a speed guy. I'm just gonna run straight vertical down the field Are you gonna be able to do multiple things? And so I think bond can do that, but I think all those guys can do that I think they all kind of cross train and are all able to Run whatever route or played a slot of play outside. So, uh, I think he can be used that way. Yeah It looks like matthew golden's done that more Yes, here Team golden and even jontay when he's got any snaps, I think he only played four snaps on saturday But jontay at cook has got an opportunity. It's like think of his touchdown catch and run So it they try to make those receiver positions be able to do a little bit of everything Uh, but it seems like the other role is kind of in that in that position um, i'm trying to look through the stats from Yesterday, uh, whether stats or otherwise. Is there anything anything else big that that stood out for you? um The fast points off turn over be capitalized they didn't Uh, turn over battles always who especially in this game, right? Like person wouldn't turn over usually wins, but um Then I know some people got a little Maybe frustrated. I had two complaints. We were like we were four for six and red zone. So I mean, you know, we still did well in the red zone not we're at 100 by Manoa, I mean just uh Just the way we were executed. I know we wouldn't look at third downs That's fine. Is that the first time we've been maybe that little percentage watch completing third downs because usually we've been very clear Yeah, and and I kind of part of me wonders if that's Quinn because in other games like he's been on on third downs Like texas converted a lot of third and longs Against michigan. Uh, that was you know, really quality um He wasn't on I mean you mentioned four for second red zone one of those red zone misses Basically can kind of be attributable to him Missing a couple reads and a couple throws The other one I think had to have been a was it a auburn miss right before half time? Maybe I think that was it. So, um Yeah, I think the third down and red zone stuff you can look at quin for that because they have Been able to with him convert third and seven third nates Thanks. The o-line stuff like that. They just quin did not seem as sharp in that aspect. Uh yesterday um when you were uh, you know working for the the rebels, um Did y'all's defense have a yards per play goal? Uh since I was on offense side of all, um, I never was in like the gold meeting for the defense But I mean they were all about stops and not giving people touchdowns, right? Because since this day and age Yards, yeah, okay. Everybody's gonna give up yards here and there, but uh, I just want to give invited get anybody in the end zone So that was huge, um, but as offensively we had a goal. We wanted to meet each day We offensively like we wanted to get over one of five on the other offense every every game We wanted to go over 45 points again. That was a goal and so, um, I'm sure defense had goals what they wanted to give up But mostly was there a number for yards per play That y'all had mine because you know when you're thinking about running backs and you're thinking yards per rush You want to be you want to be above four or you really want to be in five But like if you're above four, it's you know, that means it's second and six And on average every time and the reason I bring this up is Basically total yardage and raw statistics like you mentioned it's about the point You don't win by outgaining anybody you win by outscoring them One leads to the other texas is number one in the country in total defense and Also, they are number one in the country in yards per play. No other team in the country allows Every okay every other team in the country allows at least four yards per play except for texas. It's 3 0.69 It's really good man. Yeah, the guy, uh, or he says best in the nation. It's not even close Total defense number one scoring defense number one passing defense number two rushing defense 23 Passing efficiency d which you'll find people to believe more important number two red zone d Number two like it is just a They are playing the opponents in front of them and they are dominating the opponents in front of Doing exactly what they need to do Exactly that's and that's on it matters. You can't control what you play But you can show how you play and so they're playing well. That's that into the story with that one Anything from Anything else in the game or you want to talk a little bit about Some of the other results we saw at least around college football I'm just I have to say one last thing from the game honestly That i'm really really loving is They're the team they're playing as a complete team like I know We said they're a great team, but they're playing as a team like they're really feeding up each other And it's the communication level that I see from the defense to me that is special like we talked about earlier Multiple times we received a line up in the back of Oklahoma, but I saw mcdonald. I saw baron I saw uh gibbo point like hey that's a receiver back there Like they were not confused by anything. They were doing they were really talking More than i've ever seen them talk up until this point and so um They got those statistics in their rank that high because they communicate and they trust each other More than they think they have in a long time And we saw baron talk about that a little bit in his interview. They really trust each other and got each other's back out there So that's just he used to me I think we they'll tell us about communication a lot and it's just like oh boy here we're going with the communication Storyline again, but it I this is one of those years where it seems real um in that aspect um the game of the day yesterday Oregon, Ohio state I think I caught the end of that one in the car ride back home 32 31 Yeah, doesn't result in organ hopping uh texas texas were main number one It feels like that game was so even That it was decided on any little gamesmanship by Dan landing Maybe intentional maybe not but also like cal uh calm accord will howard just Losing losing track of time as a fifth year senior should not do That was that was brutal. I was like, yo, what is what are you doing? You got one time out I guess sliding go down and call time add you and feel the range, but he looked around and kept running It's like yo, like are you not? I know somebody had to communicate through the helmet like we got so many seconds left. Don't take this out We got too many yards, but get down if you don't have anything we'll try the helm area We're gonna try a long field go, but you just lost track of time I was like man, how do you do that? You know You know he had a bow and he had a moment like I know everybody works on situational things Especially on Thursday you find a walkthrough. That's what that is And so you will go through situational but not to a fifth year senior senior Messing that up. I really didn't understand that but uh Yeah, I don't know maybe they got a lot of source from the office of passing experience and I just set them back They they I don't want to say they crumpled because they didn't crumble They just made three costly mistakes back to back to back um Well two and then they had the penalty which I I didn't know about this they were talking about buddy Ryan Did that once or twice just to like if you throw 12 men on the field. It's a Technically, it's not a dead ball foul So just you know the clock runs and that went from 10 to 3 and or 10 to 6 and got where it was um You said you watched South Carolina, Alabama too, right? Yeah, I watched that one. Um before the uh Before the text of gay man, I thought man. I thought Alabama was pressing. They just got upset I thought they were just pressing a lot uh You know, they welcome South Carolina. South Carolina is not making plays and you just saw the the pressure and the Build up in those guys. Let's face. You saw the coach on the sidelines started to feel it too. Like oh my gosh Well, you know, here we go again. And so It's not easy. It's not easy being bound. I guess that's a lot of pressure, but Man, they gotta just play their game. I thought they were pressing way too much in South Carolina We had no business even been in the game and so um But they found a way to win. So I guess that's all I'm mad at the end of the day. You win. It's hard Waiting is hard. It was just it was just uh, you know an onside kick Away I think or it didn't they recovered it, right? They just covered it And through a hill mirror and nick harvard didn't see the ball or whatever Didn't get almost he called it out of bounds. I almost took a meet which I almost gave him a safety. I was like, oh my gosh This was about to be like a complete mess up, but uh, I guess now the kind of one of the guys who threw a fit Previous we told him. No, you gotta run out the end zone. So I guess they hit him played by him A lot of a lot of thin margins in the in the sec Um trying to see what else Ole miss and lsu That was I I don't you said you may have fallen asleep on that one. I got to watch So that was a legacy game For garret nuss mire without a doubt who I I And here's the thing he was bad Before that point he finished 22 of 51 That's not good. Yeah, exactly But they're at when it counted when it mattered most maybe made the plays they needed Um, especially that last one at the very very in it's also kind of a legacy game for Ole miss Yeah in a bad way like this is what Normally happens with lane kiffen teens and you know you look at five and two and you're like, okay And then they're still in it, but they're out. They are almost essentially out of the SEC title race already Yeah, that's and I saw like jaxson dart look just like his dog had died Yesterday and it's just one of those things where it's like I get it. I get it You know, you you thought you were going to be leading a national championship contender team And now you've got two losses in mid-October. So Yeah, they spent a lot of time and a lot of money to try to overcome that for this season It seems like oh, you know, they went all in and now You know two losses, uh, that's tough Any other big uh results, you know, he was on by right? No, we uh, they play friday night Um, the ground fight game versus utal state Uh, I'll stop watching because there's like 41 to seven and a half time they were up Um, and so what britter marries name wasn't on by a week because okoma fans won't stop tagging It's funny, but yeah Let's see florida. Oh, yeah, that's one thing we didn't touch on. Um, florida is It might be the lagway show the rest of the way You know what? Uh in about florida What about tennessee what are they all berated now? I mean because now they're struggling They started out hot they struggled against. Oh, you know, they won but like I don't know then Maybe they overrated over over hike. I'm not sure but florida's plan better Do you remember? Do you remember? Kirby before the season started Was telling everybody who had listened at georgia in in like media settings like I don't have the same depth And everybody looks at them like oh, you're crazy. You're you're georgia like look at this team and you've got this this this and i'm wondering if that's I think even texas is fighting that battle Although they seem more well equipped than anybody else in the country at this point to take care of it but like With tennessee and granted a lot of it's the nico factor still being a young kid Uh, but like i wonder if the the lack of you know depth all over the place Is what's leading to these results and leading to the scc kind of just being uh You feel like there's texas in georgia Alabama, you know when they're firing on all cylinders. You can see what they do. They haven't done that yet and then just Whoo, you don't know what else is going on Um, it could be like to say and with the portal. I think depth is going other places just to play Um, I mean because I'm not like banda bill. It took started from a lot of different places. Um None they're competing right and they're playing well. Uh, and so I think You can't stop about depth anymore. I'm regardless how You may have it one year to next year. Those guys everybody wants a chance to play and so they're gonna go where they think they got a chance to play and so Man, I think you're starting to see it across college football games are starting to be a lot more evened out so to speak speaking of how about vandy, I mean it It's stink. I I think that uh What I thought about kentucky before the year May actually actually apply to vander bill or arkansas Which is a crazy thing to say Um, but kentucky. I don't know like we thought they may have had it somewhat turned around But when that coach decides like I went out little wait wait bring me back I don't I don't know if you can Yeah the only big game I didn't get eyes on was USC and penn state Apparently that was a drew aller legacy drive for The nitty lions and they're number three now three. I thought the game was over I checked the score and USC was up and then next thing I know like they're going to overtime is like wait, what? Like what is this and so That is rough Yeah, shouts penn state. I didn't I didn't suspect they'll be there And I know they got new OC so maybe that helped because last year they were kind of it dumps offensively, but It's been a change. So I mean, I don't know. I didn't get to see much of the game But I still had a tight end hat and one heck of a day I know there's a lot of love for gunner helm, but supposedly gunner is a clear number two to that guy Uh I ain't taking everybody over gunna helms. So i'm putting out a record airbag note gunna helms My guy he's the best I had in the country to me. I'm not coming off I don't think you should uh, all right anything else are ready to attack. Uh, this will be the I think if I did my research right, this will be the first top five game at dkr since Do you know? Uh I can't think it would be top five. I don't know. I don't have a clue with this one That's part of it. Uh first battle between two top five teams at dk art since the ohio state game in oh six Oh, man. It has been that long and you know, bama showed up rank number one Tcu was rank number four. I think that year um They've had some different good teams pop in but Two top five and in the most recent one that was close was lsu in texas in 2019. I think that was number six versus number nine Um, who might take some azurian? Oh One versus seven seven. Okay. Yeah, okay. I mean they were close and that was during that that tough stretch and oh eight But yeah first time in almost 20 years that two top five teams will be on the field in austin so Should be Should be pretty excited Charlie I appreciated a ton if you're here make sure you give us a like subscribe to the channel We are growing and we can't wait to keep it going This week and also if you have not yet go to inside texas.com use promo code it one You can get two months of access for just one dollar and hey if it is what?
