Ify News and Ben Thomas Ukraine says Russia launched a barrage of 99 drones and missiles on energy infrastructure across the country, Charles Daldesma has details. Ukraine's state-owned grid operator says Friday's attack deliberately targeted thermal and hydroelectric power plants across central and western regions, while Ukraine's largest private electricity operator and three of its thermal plants had been damaged in the attack. Russia has escalated its war on Ukraine in recent days, launching several missile barrages on the capital Kief and hitting installations in apparent retaliation for recent Ukrainian aerial attacks on the Russian border region of Belgorod. I'm Charles Daldesma. Tajikistan has detained nine people in connection with the Moscow Concert Hall attack. Meantime, the Biden administration is marking the first anniversary of Russia's detention of Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gruskovich. Russia accuses Gruskovich of acting on U.S. orders to collect state secrets but has given no evidence. Just this week, it extended his detention until at least June 30th. They have provided no real justification for holding him. That is because he has done nothing wrong. White House press secretary Karin Jean Pierre earlier this week, saying Gruskovich is wrongfully detained. Journalism is not a crime. President Biden echoed this words in a statement today, saying his administration is working every day to secure Gruskovich's freedom. Today's Wall Street Journal front page has a giant blank space with an image of Gruskovich and a headline reading, "His story should be here." Sagar, Meghani, Washington. Massive cranes now at the site of Baltimore's collapse bridge to begin clearing wreckage that stymied the search for four missing workers and blocked ships from entering or leaving the city's port. Clemson knocked off the two-seat Arizona 77-72, sending the Tigers to the Elite 8 for the first time since 1980. Chase Hunter scored 18 in the win. Clemson held Pac-12 Player of the Year Caleb Love to just 13 points, going 0-9 from beyond the arc. The Tigers will next face Alabama, who took down top-seeded North Carolina 89-87, Grant Nelson converted an end-1 with 39 seconds left that put Bama ahead.
