They have to clear the wreckage of that fallen bridge in Baltimore before they can reach the bodies of four construction workers who are still missing and presumed dead. The US Army Corps of Engineers will use the largest crane on the Eastern Seaboard to help remove the wreckage of Baltimore's frats' Scott Key Bridge brought down by a cargo vessel. The machine can lift up to 1,000 tons. Governor Westmore says Maryland deeply appreciates support and the $60 million the federal government has provided so far. More says removing the wreckage and replacing the bridge will be extremely difficult. We have a very long road ahead of us. We understand that and we're preparing. The port's closure has ships waiting offshore, drying up work for dock workers and crippling regional shipping. I'm Norman Hall. Former President Obama and Clinton joined President Biden last night in New York to support his reelection campaign. Barack Obama praised President Biden's willingness to look for common ground. Bill Clinton, too, said voters should quote, "stay with what works." The International Court of Justice is pointing at Israel. The AP's Donna Warder. The top United Nations court ordered Israel to open more land crossings so food, water, fuel and other supplies can reach Gaza. The war between Israel and the Palestinian militant group Hamas has displaced more than 80 percent of Gaza's population. The AP's been asking Americans about immigrants coming to the U.S. and the results of the new Associated Press poll find that Americans are more worried about legal immigrants committing crimes than they were a few years ago. A change driven largely by increased concern among Republicans. Democrats continue to see benefits from immigration. Former Senator Joe Lieberman's funeral is this morning in Connecticut. Home Depot says it's buying a business that provides supplies to professional contractors. In an $18 billion deal, Home Depot says it's buying SRS distribution, a material supply company for professionals. It's viewed as a bat on the housing market coming back after a two-year drought of new homes triggered by a lack of inventory and the sharp hike in mortgage rates. Since mortgage rates are still high, millions of people are spending money on upkeep for their existing homes. Home Depot says that's another driver for this SRS deal, which will raise its total addressable market to approximately $1 trillion an increase of about $50 billion. I'm Jackie Quinn.
