[Music] Hello, good evening and welcome to the Talking Cup. It's Sunday night. It's Liverpool too. It's brought you in one. It's an unbelievable weekend of results for Liverpool across the Premier League. We're going to look back at that game and anything that you want to talk about in the chat. If you want to talk about traveling there, I'll see if I can reroute. If I remember, I remember. How does that sound? If you didn't get to see or listen to the post-match show, there was Chris, there was Kev, there was Matt, that's available to watch or listen to in your podcast app, you can go and do that. And as you know, we always do a little bit different here tonight. But I'm going to start with Emma, and Emma, I usually go to the end of the game, but I'm going to go to the start today because I think you're in a slot, I had every reason to consider Zubun as many of them as he possibly called after. If not 20 minutes, definitely 30 and definitely look in 40 for you. It was a fourth half of Emma that was, I thought it was horrendous, but I want to give loads of credit to Brighton because it's hard to really quick on the ball. They got to the second ball, they move the ball quick, they were brave. And Liverpool, not for the fourth time in the season of home, have come into a home game where we go. I would think to take the tempo, and when they don't take the tempo, they fill in the heart to get to that tempo. It was horrendous in the fourth half. Yeah, which I mean, I said last week that I thought our fourth half against Arsenal was the worst. And I'd like to caveat that, I didn't see it in the first game. So I'm judging on what I've seen, but that yesterday is probably the worst they were able to play in the fourth half in a bit, seven or eight years. They were absolutely doyer. Now, you're right, Brighton were excellent, but I think we kind of give them a little bit of a leg up the way. There was no, like, I want to sound like an echo and mark. And it's a lot to say, but there was a lack of intensity when we were pressing from the front, there seemed to be the forward press, and then the two in midfield were too far behind. That left space for Brighton and they, they basically took advantage of it. They were just playing balls into that space between the front four and the middle two, and turning and going at us with their front four. They were brilliant. Look, we were shit, they were brilliant. And it was a little bit concerning because not, I didn't want to think it was like where we just have to show up. I think we're going past that now, especially with teams like Brighton and how good they've been. But it was just a little bit concerning that they couldn't click into that gear. I know we'll probably speak about it a little bit later on, about the atmosphere. I thought the atmosphere was shit in the fourth half. Everybody can talk about the atmosphere in the second half. And when it's dupean leaves a bit in on Trent and then all of a sudden the crowd come alive. Crouch come alive from the start. Shouldn't be waiting for somebody to leave something on somebody to get the crowd going. But we just have to find a way of starting games the way we're starting second halfs. Otherwise, like Slath said himself, we're going to pay for it big time. And you come up against somebody that, look, they should have been about three goals up, come half to him. Yeah, that's very good. Come up against somebody a little bit more clinical and we've got city on the horizon coming up soon as well. And you could be going entry and know that you'll never come back from that. No, I agree with you. Shawnee, like we beat him in the late cup during the week and we play a much changed soil. We bring on a couple of subs in Salah and the only other thing near the end. But we went to this one, we have to beat them during the week. There was no excuse was that really for that fourth half because like players had to tie him off. You know, they've had a decent run of games now. You know, every two or three days, but he's kind of left a load of them out there and whatever it was, Wednesday night. And you're thinking, really, glad to be refreshed to be getting into this. But it just, it just smelled of a little bit of all the confidence and that was probably down to the midweek results. That's what it felt like, a little bit of all the confidence where, and that leads to, what I mean is that leads to being the half yard off and stuff like that. And that's what it was, that we were happy and I brought it more. Right on it, right on it. No, I think to be honest, it's a tale as I was trying with them. Look, you see them, don't let them, don't let others pop up all the time. And again, it is coincidental, but you do pop up. There's a lot of times when you play to a team, you know, we once in a co-game and once in a lead game. And the two games are never ever the same. Now, the results could be changed, but the game's never had up and it was the same. And we were relatively comfortable in midweek. But, I thought we were watching the fourth time again. For us just, I thought we were watching the fourth time again. So I just let me wear it so, to be honest. But the day's just gone a number on this. Day's gone a number on this. It's how I shaped the ground. I thought I set up the ground game to cap it up. There was a couple of half of our top elections media struggles actually. I just thought like, survival is way too powerful to fix it. And it was won't pass out the facts to that line. Yeah, very nice. A yardy. A yardy. Yeah. Yeah. One on the show. He was running the show. We had no way. But we had chances. We were running the fourth time in the car. So I didn't think it was. I didn't think we were the five. And, a parent of mine, I'm at the main point of going sick to the last quarter of the day. So I was laying here in the couch yesterday watching the game go. This is not bad. If I came to this and I was willing to become part of the work. And I thought we were going to go into the game. There was no way we were going to be as far as the second half as we were at the fourth half. That's just, or it didn't point. And even when you're watching back to the game. I didn't think it was, I didn't think it was that bad a part. So maybe you're in different league court. She loves the people giving out about me already on. So I'm from now in a minute. If you're a fish, I'm going to be a shadow of a hundred on the wall. And they'll say, oh, that shadow was actually brought me off me dinner. So if you can fix it, great. You can ram it up your house. Well, apparently now we're only, what were you? Six minutes in. Shot, he's had a little fierce. Here we go. Now we're part and part. Definitely correct. And I thought there was a couple of people. Just to go out, ring between it. And I agree with Emmett as well. It can get a little bit frustrating, please. That does take something like that to get the crowd. But at the same point, you have to get the crowd something to get. So, you know, and one of the things I'm starting to see about daily yesterday for me of this parish. And they held the game. And one more you had from watching. Never felt so fine. We wondered how we'd react to it. Go on and go. I don't know how we'd behave because I think I saw the control story of footballs. It's not as. It's not something I'd feel me confident to be chasing the lead. But then I see in the start yesterday that the team last season in Europe. That had one more point. And we definitely hope you entered in the second half. And I have to be honest, to give us a bit of an appointment. I'll try to do a brilliant. But that's not brilliant. I had some little bookie on the dogs anymore. And I love that slot made a point. I'll just point it out this weekend in the press conference post. And saying that they've spent a lot of money. So they show you. They spent a lot of money in the summer. They're a full team. They've only been in the full time. And that's. Keith. You know, we could talk about Forrest. We could talk about Arson and Patches last week. Because in Patches last week, probably 24 to 44 against Arson. I thought we were poor against Forrest. We just weren't at the races. We felt the whole game. This one yesterday. When I said a yard off, Keith, it felt a bit disjointed. That's what it felt like. I'm used to watching Liverpool. And Saba's level now. And Saba's level go and press. And Nunez will back him up. And Salah and Diaz are gakball. And it's point of all as a unit. We go and we press. We get our teams and stuff like that. Whereas yesterday it felt a bit disjointed. And look, I think we're all in agreement. I think everyone in the chat's in agreement. It was a poor, poor force happening in Liverpool. And you have to give Brighton plenty of credit. And yes, they've spent a good bit of money. I think they're probably an established topic. Top nine Premier League. That are probably looking up rather than down. They could go back to home. It could be 40 into the end of the season. But that's what they feel like to me. But Keith, like Slat says, he says, look, I have to him. He says, I could have subbed any of them off. Any of them. I could have just, I could have fucking subbed them off. Because that's who bad it was. And he warned him. Don't go ill and have another second half. Or another half like that. And indeed, another second half like he did a forest. And it did take a bit of a set here as opposed to the way in the crowd up. But the difference from there on Nunez is fucking night and day. Like, Liverpool are snapping into things. They're taking control of the game. Brighton can't get out. The pretty stuff that they were doing in the forest just isn't coming off. And Liverpool just went, no, we've had a bad 45. There's enough. And they just go and they put themselves on the game. And it's a huge tree point, Keith. Like when you look at what's going on around the lake, this weekend, Keith, it's a fucking huge tree point. Yeah, I think Jam G says that the atmosphere was a fair key. He thinks the atmosphere was affected by the city skyline and the arsenal result. And maybe there was a bit of added tension or pressure. You know what I mean? Because on paper, I think in Brighton, a home Liverpool should win that. But look, Brighton, a home is never easy. You know, the use, the use of that match is Brighton, a home. And Liverpool weren't beating them. You know, there's a good team there. And Sean is right. They have spent. Jam Man. Cardiaglio's 30 million, they think he spent on him. Spent about 44 million on Jam Man. Real dark front as well. So they are spending money. But they are really good. So it all you thought they'd have maybe tipped because of the Zerby. I'm not that I thought the Zerby was any genius. That was very good at what he don't. But I didn't know our hair till I would be loyal for them. And they're cracking team. You know, they set loads of traps for you. They tried to catch it and break really fast. And they were catching us yesterday. I think the fourth half, in sort of half an agreement with Sean. I think it's maybe being overblown about, you know, there's been other games when we've been here. I think Alexis. You weren't following the bigger Alexis fan than me. And he was a troucheous yesterday. And he had a passing percentage of 70% or 71%. And that's really low for the player like Alexis. Because Willie does, he's never going to be a 98% pass or because he makes forward passes. He tries to make things happen with his pass. But he's usually in around the late 80s, early 90s. He's down at 70. So he just will slap you with the ball. If he's sloppy with the ball, we're not getting going. So Boslaw, he was playing too far away. So there was that disjointment with the midfield that we couldn't get going. But all it took was that little rattle and the crowd got lifted. And then Liverpool were on top. You know, I think that was the key. I don't think we were looking like we were going to really lose it from there. And when you get the two goals so quickly together, that's soccer punch as well. I think it just helps that Liverpool went out there and done the business. Unlike in the fact that slot has come in, we're a bit more sure to watch. Do you know what I mean? We're not as exciting to watch and we can live with that. You know, we can take that if it's going to be getting their scores on the doors. And I just think this Liverpool team is still a walk in progress. It's not the finished article. And we're going to have games where one are going to blow teams apart. I took your own club a long time to get that perfection that you got. And it's going to take slot of oil to get where he got. Because I think we have to remember the shit that he's taken and Liverpool have taken. Right? So it was originally early slot won't be able to live up. It won't be able to challenge at all. I will struggle for top four because early slot here was here. So he comes in does really well. And then it's that he haven't played anybody. You know, why do they play people? Well, now they're playing teams and they're getting positive results, positive, you know, play Chelsea beat them. Drew at Arsenal away. It's blowing a tricky, tricky game. You know, we've got our hard games coming up. But don't fear any of the hard games coming up. Because I think slot is answering the questions as and when that company is learning. You know, he's learning on the job. And I think that's huge. And I think it's brilliant to see. I just think, you know, as slot themselves said, he was told there's no easy games, but then he's getting told about all these easy games. And then you see what's happening with the other teams. The looks are bomb it. Well, maybe bomb it. We were told that's just bomb it. They're taking scalps all over the shops instead. So, you know, there's going to be hard games. I think slot doesn't get the credit he deserves. And I think people are starting to maybe come around to the fact that he's a bit of a serious operator. And we just love that. What proven them wrong will we maintain this or don't know? But we cannot ask for more. We're talking about Nottingham Forest. That's the blip. Do you know what I mean? And if that's the blip, they're toward in the leg. Are you still toward? I think. Look, they're not a shit team. At the time, it felt like the bleeding the world was open and open. We are falling in. They're a good team. They're gone and farted in the leg. You know, they're a quality soid that you wouldn't retire. So, look, we just have to go out there and keep getting the performance. Just keep getting the results. The more results you get, maybe the performance will increase. We're not going to be perfect every week, but we can live with that. And I just hope that the looks are canada. It looks pretty good for him that we can get him back. But I want to say, Joe Gomez, what a player. Do you know what I mean? He comes in from the cold and he slots in like he's never been out at him. And look, we need players to deal with that. We don't want, we can't have players soaking. I'm not worried about Kwanzaa's future. I live up there. Don't get me wrong. He had a bad mistake. Do you run away against Brighton? So, we can understand why Gomez got brought in. And if that has to be the case for the next world, you know, if Gomez is the next in line, happy days. There should never be an entitlement that Kwanzaa don't really wear last year. He's the next one if canada goes down. You play the lads here in form and you build your squad that way. I just want everyone to row in and hopefully everyone rows in behind what slot is down. Because I think there's a chance that leg is not great. That leg is not as good as it has been over the years. And I think there's a chance for us to just keep melting and see where we can end up at the end of the season. Yeah, I think, like, I'm just thinking about it now. And a few people in the chat have mentioned, you know, like, you know, letting other teams have the ball can be difficult to watch at times. And I think, I've seen three stages of their policies. And one where they're really on the front floor. And, you know, they're pedant teams in. And then you see all the ones like Chelsea at home, where they go. You can have the ball if you want. And then we'll do damage to you. And the total is where I think sometimes you get caught in between these two. Where they're not trying to pin a team in. And they're not trying to give a team a ball to get me. So they get caught between something that they're doing. That's probably the hardest one to do. And suppose, you know, measures in what you're doing with regards to precedence. And I think they got caught between that yesterday. Whereas, you know, they probably have to learn how to do it a bit more. Press both knowing the drop. Press with knowing the drop. And then do a bit of dropping off. And look here in the season, I kept noticing how when a team got a chance against us, we just got the ball and kept it before eight minutes. And all your momentum has gone there. We're resetting this game immediately. And I think that didn't happen with the yesterday because Brighton continuously got chances to get out of us. But the second half is just a different story. All together. And Emmett, you know, a lot of people have mentioned, and we will go through players in a bit. But a lot of people have mentioned the subs make a huge difference. You know, like, can nothing has to go off. Reparts are down. He's a couple of stitches in his arm, maybe. I think I've read. He's OK. He's had a scan. He's fine. He said he'd be ready for the next game. So thank God for that. Joe Gomez comes on and people are like, well, well, they're not being sponsored, you know, next to the line. But Joe Gomez comes on. He went hard by the way. It was fantastic when he comes on. And that's what a professional football is meant to be. Comes in. It's seamless. And he was brilliant. But the subs make a huge difference, Emmett, because it just brings a tempo to us. I think Jones brings a tempo. He has definitely brings a tempo. We're going at you now and let's see how you're there. And it was, like I said, our night and day subs huge. I mean, the minute they came on, you could see how intense or how our intensity increased. They were pressing like mad. Jones is involved in the force goal, isn't he? Sorry. He's involved in the solid second goal and picks it up on the edge of his own box. And Diaz is snapping into tackles, putting them under pressure. Stuff that we didn't see in the first half. And we could see that the tempo rose. Throw in that, go back to the estupean on Trent and stuff like that. That gets the crowd up. And I was listening to the Anfield rapper around. They said there was a point in that, like, where the crowd was feral. And that Anfield hasn't been feral in a long time. And somebody else said that it felt like that. Nearly like Barcelona in the Champions League. It was that mad. People ended up two and three rows away from where they originally stand. It reminded me of the time I had to go around field. Remember when it was a man that went up for a header? And I had to make it to them. And Liverpool just went, well, fuck you. And the crowd just went mental. And they just went not hoping. And he's regretted ever since, I think. Well, it was at the film game last year, sorry if I couldn't cross it. The full on the four or three. And it was a little bit like that in the full game when we turned it around. We got two quick goals at the end. And it was that sort of same. Seeing that same buzz about it. Well, I said that yesterday when I was in the chaffa, the post match, that it felt very late full. And that's probably the last time you maybe saw the crowd later. But the injection of pace from, well, pace intensity from Jones and Diaz was the tournament point. I think we weren't snapping into tackles. I just had that feeling. And I know we probably spoken on here about earlier on in the season. Sometimes we just can be a little bit too nice. We were losing every 50-50. We weren't, we were losing every fourth ball, every second ball. And then we just, I don't want to say things started falling for us. We started winning the 50-50s with the higher intensity. And then it looked, look, I always thought we get one, we're going to get two here. And then two pummelan in two minutes, so unbelievable. Um, Shani, it's, you know, we, we go, it's, it's one of those game until halves and all that. And, you know, everyone says that, but it really is that. But a couple of players I want to touch on. Um, I've, I've mentioned it before. Joe Gomez hasn't seen much football this season. Um, you know, was assessing his options before this, which you remember, about possibly move away from Liverpool. We've been caught with this weekend. Well, I've seen a quote written among beef in this weekend, but I've seen it this weekend. Basically saying that the club means the world home. Um, but for him to come in there, he plays Jordan the Week in the League Cup. But he comes in there, we're, we're a goal down, we're struggling. Um, he's coming in the center half. It would have been, you know, not easy, but you, you, you would have went, you know what? That's a fucking horrible situation to throw him into when we're struggling this badly. But I actually thought he was so fucking good. And he was, he was so, um, he was so positive in everything you don't, you know. Um, look, he, he trusts his pace and all the time, but I just thought he was so positive. And he was getting up, getting, not him on his own, but we're getting up the pitch. And we just, he was really, he played a huge part of what he felt in, in the intensity of the club over the second half. And I thought it was a difficult position from the community or a difficult situation. Yeah, he was immense. Um, to be honest with you, I'm actually, I'm, I'm absolutely delighted by Joe Gomez. He's the longest able player now at the club. Still here. And I, I, I've seen the end of the year, I thought about it. You know what, I slowly, the hair, something like that because, like, similar to Kehlaha, I think Gomez is probably a type of player, probably have a being in his band and with the club in terms of going, okay. Hell, do you feel me? Um, like, I should be on it. I'm playing football because I think of Joe Gomez as, uh, and he would have played the league club. He's probably playing like regular, regular football and he's a, he's a sack for England. You know, going, going to tournaments because I do. I think he's a, I think with rhythm, he's a, he can be a top center half. That being said, it's performance is last year. I sent a half, probably left a lot to be desired when he didn't feel in there. I thought he was away, but I definitely had left back. And he clearly doesn't want to be that, but yeah, he was, he was absolutely brilliant. Um, and I wasn't surprised that I wasn't concerned with him because. I think there's an element of. And it's like no, probably trying to protect general funds that a little bit because similar to the other reaction, the sponsors you want to do. I actually didn't think he was that bad, but I think pointing them into that position yesterday where they wasn't. If he makes a mistake like that, then it could be detrimental to the label. Gomez has been in yesterday nearly guards voice as well, which would have been fucking great. If you had a guy that got back in, I think he probably would have been playing had to do in my renovation more. I think the base would have come after the leading foundations book. Now, you know what? I'm the lawyer for jail. Gomez. Oh, yeah, look back at 1920 and how good he was for that force. Or if six months of the season before the injury, he was fucking immense. He was every bit as good as we, as we originally in that sort. And. Oh, that was just a no click. It's a bad one for for Canadian and helping it. He's been. I actually want to see Gomez get a little role on the team now, because I think. Cameos like that deserve it. And I love how. A lot of references, largely this common and unperformed level as well. And. Like. I think we were all really. I think you know, you percent of us were sure that. And that was just a don't thing in this system. And it was, there was probably no room from tile anywhere, but. He seen how effective he could be yesterday. He could be yesterday. He's the only real natural number six we have at the club and. I'm just delighted for players like that. Actually featuring. It's not like that completely useless, but yeah. And. Well, Gomez absolutely delighted for a player. I love to see put around together and get his farm. As far as far as because I look, there's question marks about around the field, the moment of the global. A wouldn't surprise me if Gomez is playing his last season. I never feel to be honest with you. But yeah, he's broken. He was brilliant. He was he was absolutely excellent. Like you said, everything was positively done. You know, it wasn't. He didn't look panicky command. It's distribution was great. You want a lot of our. In both boxes. Yeah, it's the lawyer. The lawyer. It's um, I agree with John Quanta. I think bringing quantity into that situation where. The family that vacations together stays together. At least that was the plan. And I think, you know, yeah, he's a couple of mistakes away at broing. And he's probably just in that stage where it's a bit low on confidence maybe. But that'll come. I think he's such a fucking good player. But to see when you have an issue with an 18, 19 year old center half. When you see Joe Gomez who's now 27, 28 years of age. Coming in and just doing his job. And I think one of the big things I was always traveling with Joe Gomez was really decent in the air, really good along the ground. He can, he can, this should be up all about is he, is he physical enough? Is he, is he dominating enough? And I think, I think he showed yesterday slightly different. So it was game. I think he was dominating. And I think he had said it earlier. When Trent starts to invert in the second half. Joe Gomez just dominated everything around him and says, you know, and I just think it was you. Um, Keith, the other sub coming on his court is Jones. Um, does really, really well but the second goal. Um, to start that off and get it back to him and play the salons over there. But again, you know, one thing you have people travel, uh, court is Jones. Does he move the ball quick enough? Does he pick the really timing of a pass? You know, there's one there, uh, Chelsea at home where it takes two or three touches before he puts Salah in for a gakbo, this without going on. Just give him the ball. Court is booked. Yesterday, Keith, you see him there yesterday and he was moving the ball fast. He was moving at the really time. He was dealing his walk and he just injected something into a midfield. A lot of people are saying one or two probably need a rest here. And we just need to keep this farm coming out of them. Not where we can throw them in and start them for three or four games in a row. In any of those three positions and say, you can do that job. But I think every time I see the court is Jones now, I think, yeah, the timing is coming. The quickness is coming. It's, it's building to something. I believe he's building this up. I'm probably way too optimistic on both failures. Yeah, look, a hundred percent pass accuracy yesterday. You know, for any of the stats geeks out there. And I think it's been something that's been consistent in this game lately. Is he is protecting the ball? Now, I know people say, yes, he takes too much. He takes too much. Oh, I think he's good in the deeper role as well. You know, you would have always been considered maybe an attacking type of midfielder. Or a midfielder who can play out in one of the world areas that we need to. But we think coming from deep, he's able to get you from there to be quickly. You know, now that he's just carrying the bar, he's moving it. He's getting us up the pitch. We think he comes in with our own fair criticism. And people disagree with that. But look, everyone's in turn into an opinion on the court. It's Jones. I just can't understand why we would be, um, always have to have a scapegoat. You know, we always have to have a scapegoat. And they'll put me hand up and say, oh, it's hard. Simicas is not going to know for the team. And I thought he played very well yesterday as well. You know, so you can, you can have an opinion on someone. You can change our opinion as well. And I think if you're looking at court as Jones now in the last, you know, well, I think he's been improving year on year. But if you look at him in the last boil and you still think he's not good enough for this Liverpool team, whether that be as a starter or as an injection coming in when we need that pace, or we need that bit of ball protection, or just think he's excellent. I think he's brilliant for the squad. I think he's going to become a force 11 player regularly. If not this year, I think next year, I think he's on that trajectory to be such a strong player for Liverpool. And I just think, you know, again, I'll go back to McCallister. He comes on for McCallister. No, me use McCallister fan. If McCallister was not in the business and court as Jones is doing the business, you swap them out. And it's as simple as that. And there can be no bullshit about Rania. Don't do it on the hill that all Alexis won the World Cup are Alexis. This Alexis that Jones, if he deserves to be in that team, we want to see Jones in that team. Do you know what I mean? And that's just the way it is. Or you think Liverpool, again, he come back to it. People think someone in the chat earlier, I didn't, I forgot to flag the name. Things that we don't have the midfield depth. At the moment, you know, we don't have a lot of players in there. But court as Jones is stepping up and being the sort of the very capable next man in Loyin, whether it be to replace Gravenberg, whether it be replaced McCallister or whether it be replaced so Bosloy. And I think to have a player like that that can go into any of them three positions and not let the team momentum drop or the playing ability drop, I think it's a very, very hard thing to do. And I think he's doing it excellently. So I'm glad to see that he gets his flowers now. And, you know, long may it continue because he's a really good player, a really good player. And he just gets a lot of unnecessary stick. But as far as we always have to have a scapegoat, don't we? Yeah. Do you want to swap the command around the same toy member as Lewis Diaz? And if he's not going to bring you, if not an else, he's going to bring you. He's going to be intent. He's going to press. He's going to look to be busy. And he does all that. And I think marrying that in with the other players around them, I just think because I'm not saying Liverpool just went at all hectic and mayhem and see what happens. I don't think it was that. But I think the ingredients there with the changes he makes means that there has to be quick. These players just naturally play quick. Diaz isn't as slow the ball down fella. Salah wants to be running off people, running in behind people, running at people. You know, Nunez is Nunez. And in fairness, Jones is... I think Jones, if you're satting down and asking, "I think he might want to play that Saba's low roll." The forward is forward in the tree where he's actually getting to affect games in that area of the pitch, an awful lot more. The changes make a huge difference. And Gaqbo gets the force goal. I thought it was actually Nunez when it went down. But it's Gaqbo gets the force goal. And it does a little bit of fortune to the ball in. And it just kind of misses everyone, goes into the fair corner. But then straight away, I'm just going to get to the second goal. I'm going to be honest with you. The second goal is brilliant because we win it, we win it. We play Jones picks the right pass at the Roy Toym to give Salah just that two or three yards where he can get out of the fender rather than the defender being really on him. And it's a fucking brilliant finish again. It's like he's tried my goal, isn't it? Yes. Chelsea a couple of years ago, Ralmer. They're just... Bologna. If you go back and you listen to it, when he run foots, it's still been a... The crowd basically nearly starts here. And before he even hits it, they know what's coming. But yeah, it's just unbelievable. Like it's still picking up pace as it hits the back of the network. It's absolutely well easy. And the place, like we said earlier on, just absolutely erupts. But it's what we deserve. All four of the front players on. And Okev said that we've tried that in the past. We've club tried it in the past, didn't really come off. I think it came off once I twice against City. You love doing it against City, Firmino, Jata, Salah and Mane. And we have all four of them on. You don't know where any of them are going to pop off. Diaz was popping up on the right, popping up on the left, down through the middle. It was just, like you said, it wasn't... I wouldn't say it was just all uncontrolled. It was a purpose to it. And they were sent on to basically press. And that was what woke the intensity. Moved about a little bit quicker. Again, I'm not going to go back with Jones. Jones, I think he's more of a McAllister replacement than a Salva Slow replacement. That would be an honest. I just think he's probably... The key says probably better than the deeper on. I think McAllister probably would want to commit. Not would want to commit or should come out of the team. Maybe for a match or two. I think he's still injured. I think somebody else said it there as well. Since picked up an injury before going away on international duty. He didn't play the Forest Game, plays a second. Hasman right since he came back. We're in a great position here now where we can afford to do this. Take the player and put Jones in. I don't think anybody would buy an oilie if they saw Jones in the starting line up. I'll run you off the tree. I know we don't have a massive depth. But to take one out and give them a break every now and again, I don't think it's not going to make a massive difference. To go back and talk about Kinate going off. Harrison lost it and sent it back last week and all of a sudden. That's the reason why we got back into the game. We went on a Monday game yesterday. So you have to be able to roll with the punches. And that's what we've done in the past and we're doing it again. But in terms of the changes and Salah's goal. Wow, like even his celebration. The more I look at it, I think someone was saying something to him from the crowd. Because he's like, "Oh, he barbed on somebody in the crowd." If you look at him, it's like he's staring at somebody when he's celebrating. It's like somebody had said something to him, "Come on, Ma. Get the finger out, whatever." And he goes and scars that and basically put that in your piping smoke. It's what he's saying. But yeah, look, it's brilliant. I just wish I had a been there. I've only ever seen them draw with brightens. [laughter] I'm going to ask this question. I'll probably fucking ruin this for about an hour if you keep messing with it. But Salah scored yesterday and I was able to ask him. I was talking to an Arsenal fan last night. And he turned around to me and he said, "I think Mo Salah is possibly the best player to ever play in the Premier League." Right? Now, this is from an Arsenal fan and I went, "What about on-ray? Un-ray, on-believable, on-fucking-believable?" He said, "But the walk rate that man gets through." And the position predominantly where he plays and the goals he has and the assists he has and the big goals and big games, he thinks he might be the best. And that was from an Arsenal fan. He surely ranks up there. He has to if only it is that he has to. And I know we do this every fucking two or three months, but it's just the goal. I suppose probably mark him into focus because of the contract situation and stuff like that, but he's just for the numbers are just mind-blown. And he just keeps doing it. And even when he's morphing into a different player, Shawnee, he's still doing it because he is morphing into a different player for me. Yeah. No, please. The numbers be for themselves, all the records be for themselves. And I was thinking about Premier League Toyota with Portman, the Mount Bushmark at the Premier League, in terms of what he's doing. And yeah, look, listen. It's Paul Chester that he has me up the wall after the game. I just, I don't know what Marty has to do. And to get a contract to Sony, he obviously wants to stay at Liverpool. He's the most approach player Liverpool have had in the Premier League area. I'll say that much. And I think in years down the line when all these showers are around, people are picking Premier League all the time. He's going on the right wing. And every single one of them are guaranteed right now. And he's a fucking phenomenal football player. Like you said, he's more of a creator now. And it was nice to see him get a few fells as well as that I have a revenue. Pretty rare. He'll be back after fallback. And look. The player has a big as well. I have some fans of big up on Ray and you know, bring up gigs. However, that's they want to bring up. Clutch moments, golds. Miles been here. Donor, I live up here. It's got kind of his eighth finals. Big league games. Maybe he's that last year at live time. And a total of the season player. And normally it used to be a 20 gold season player. A 20 gold season player. Just absolutely full, phenomenal. And Doug is out as well. There was the season. One of my favourite Miles seasons of the year. And we now centre back. And he just fucking dragged us out with a line. In terms of getting us back into the top four. And you're seeing them straight here. Yes they are. The top is where my people belong. The thing that's already in me, Miles now, is that if he doesn't want to contract with Avapil in the summer. He'd be playing in the Premier League for someone else next year. Oh you think that was it? There's not a chance that that fella is ready to go play football in Saudi Arabia. Or anywhere else. And the records will be broken, isn't there on that list? I know he's telling you now. My city would be putting up money for him. Chelsea would be putting up money for him. New Castle, the poor up money bar. I need them with. They'll pay him more and we're willing to pay him. And I'm telling you right now, I'm not saying that the fucking scare anyway. He's still that good. He's way too good to be thinking about going to Saudi Arabia. That's an elite player still operating at the top level. What I'm talking about yesterday is that he has vintage model. He's still the owner. He's still fucking the owner. So I hope and I pray he signs another day. Cause I think one more big day like Liverpool and he breaks every other record that he has to do on the Premier League in terms of, he'll be, he'll be, he'll get his own to Premier League out for Liverpool. Which would pull him within touching distance into the looks. Look, I don't think I need one of the right chairs, recorder. But he could go on to do magazines. I think he, I think he could, I think he could get the second in that with a contract extension. I think second is really, really feasible. How do you kind of has still 114 goals? Muhammad Salah has 164. I mean, what's that? 24, less than 50 goals. You know, if he signs a two, three year deal, you'd expect that he might be able to get himself. I just, I don't know. I don't know why the whole bit, and I don't really cause I don't, I don't, I hope you wouldn't, I helped you, wouldn't talk about contracts when I'm at the Premier League. It's the only thing, this whole season where it's like the fucking, you're looking at the weather forecast and you can see that this rain coming down the loin. It's Instagram right there in the background, isn't it? It is, you know, it's the fucking proverbial elephant that hasn't left the room yet. And it's November now. So, I think, it's just, it's one, like, I feel like this, this is the last thing I was saying on it for this show. I think with Salah and Vergil, I think the longer a goals on, I actually think the better, to be honest with you, and say, I'd be more confident the longer day drag on Trent. On corner, I, I don't know. I just hope it's a case where you put, from yellow uphill glasses, Trent sees sense. And just, he's, he's not going to get the rubrium and that Madrid look you in here. But, and the other sort of is, I don't think I'd envy anyone if I wanted to go play around Madrid, to be honest. I just, I fucking, I, I really, really hope it's pulled off to end up on a positive slut's head the other day that they were all in a cool place, and the sorts of discussions were still ongoing. So, I just, I, I hope it can be pulled to bed because I just, I can't think of an amount in the walk that it's counted. I, I'd rather, I'd rather be pulled off. I'd rather be put to bed, Shawnee, before the 24th to the same, but whether it's going to be the gone or the same. I, I genuinely will, because I think if it gets beyond January or January, into January 4th and beyond that, I think what you're going to have is it's just going to be all. Here's various Van Duy playing for him. Who is he going to sign for for next season? You know, and it's going to, it'll just be a, a complete little distraction. It's like last game at the Etihad. This could be his last game here. This could be his last game there. But you know what it is, it's, I think, I think as a football club, if they're in a really good position going into January, where are not these players are staying on that? And, like, John was in, John was in the, in the chat, they're going, like, what the fuck is going on? What can we get this done? I'm with you. Get a fucking done. But we don't know what's going on here. We don't know what the demands are for more than both sides. We, we simply don't. And in fairness, all the players have come out and said, look, what will be, will be, you know, they're not given anything else. They're not given anything away. Nobody's given anything away. But just, just a question on Emmett, I'll come to you for, she's going to have a girl with these ones. But we talk about Salah and how highly, highly rated he is. Boy, live up here with Emmett. I think it's starting to get around, you know, because people are quite tribalistic and they go on. I'll fucking add and hazard, which has me, bollocks. Right? But Emmett, what's sewing in a contract, even if he doesn't, even if he doesn't score the 50 goals or surpass Harry Kane. But the sewing in the contract to bring him to 24, he'll actually cement his place as an all-time Liverpool grade. Regardless of what happens in the next two or three years, the fact that at this stage where he could go and get mega money somewhere, still in really, really good nick, still scoring loads of goals, still clutches, shiny calls. The fact that he, he's sewing his deal and literally commits his career, the remainder of his career to the Liverpool. It immediately cement him where they go. But when they're talking about the leash and they're talking soonness and they're talking Jared and they're talking Hanson, they're talking Mo Salah. And I think that that contract might just see it for them. Although no contract. I think it's sealed. I think it's sealed already. Yeah. What I would say is if what Shani thinks is true, if he ends up going to some more of a Premier League team, that might take the showing off at Smarby. I think it all depends. I think he's one of Liverpool's greatest network players already. It probably cemented even more if he signs a contract. Because he goes on and he beats records. It's only 11 off on, like you said, it's only 50 off Harry Kane. It does that in two seasons. Easy if he stays. But I just didn't get all depends on what his next move is. So I think what I've heard is the Mao and Van Doyek won three years. The club are only offering two. That's what the talk is. I didn't hear any mention of any money or anything like that. It's more the length of contract. I don't know what the crack is with Trent of Nahir identity. And what Salah is a legend. That's cemented. I just think it depends on where he goes next. Does he go MLS? Does he go? I don't think he goes to sell. He still would be good friends with Manai and Bobby Dei. And everybody wants to sell me. Nobody wants to be gone to sell me. So I don't think that's even on his radar. Do any of the likes of a Real Madrid or anybody like that put in for him or Barcelona? I don't know. I don't think so. But he goes as long as Messi and Ronaldo guaranteed. He looks after him and says, "You see him, this is chiseled." But he lives a good life. I would happily give him the three-year contract. I still think he's still numbers in three years. Yeah, I think, like I said, we don't know what's going on. Two years, three years. Do you do tier with an option of one? If targets are met and stuff like that could be something like that. But literally none of them are playing around in public and the club are playing around in public. So if you had players, Asians leaking a little bit here and there, you'd be gone after asking for this in the club or acting in the ball. I mean, no Salas agent looks to do it. And he hasn't opened his fucking mouth this fella. I think he got his wrist slapped the last one. Yeah, he may have. But listen, he's not in the fucking lose here. If he thinks Salas on his way over Liverpool, he's nothing to lose. He can say whatever the fuck he looks because he'll know. There's no, come on back here. We want that. Maybe the fact that he's not saying anything. I think the fact that none of these guys would, I guess, would tell you that it's still going on. There's probably things that aren't in there. And I think I still think the three players are looking on. Let's see how a fucking goal is here because we saw in a fucking tree your extension of Liverpool. And it's not going well. I could be fucking here for two years or I don't want to be here. And you can talk about loyalty all you want and you can talk about loves at the club and everything. But players especially when they come to a part of their career, they normally have a long left and they want to maximize everything they come possibly they want again. And look, look at Ronaldo. Look at Messi. They could have given up a total of four of them. Listen, we get down and still the greatest of all time. And they're still going battle because one more give up against Zura. You know what I mean? Messi be 60 and fucking Ronaldo will be 60 too. And they're constantly still playing Zuma because that's just the way they are. Do you know what I mean? See, I have to maximize everything in what you want to do on the last few years. I'm okay with that. But as a distraction for the best for the players, players and club, I think something needs to happen here. And it definitely needs to happen before December '24. Because if we get into it, oh, he's allowed to sign for anyone. Like they could be playing Real Madrid in a qualifying and be like, "This is an audition now to see if Real Madrid will sign this play." You know what's going to happen? But I just think every time I watch Sala, I just think fucking hell. I just think fucking hell. And Trent, I just go, "It makes no sense not to fucking pull contracts or tables for these lads." It really doesn't. And I mean just to pay more people, so more money down the line. Fair enough. Which I'll probably pay the more because they perform well in a soil that contains these three lads. You know what I mean? They're literally the backbone of their squad. They really are. So we've had both. We had this conversation the last time Sala was thinking about whether you're so in the contract or not. And it cost you a hell of a lot more to try and replace them than 100% just giving them the contract. 100%. I mean, you're going with the trade. The fact that the doomsday scenario was a trade and go for free. And you're talking about trade for top iconic players in the squad along with Alison maybe. You know, they're the ones that were there. Trilled in legs and Champions League. That sort of stuff. The club there, the stalwarts of Antelio's trade and one go would be a huge, huge issue for the club. There's no positive spin you can put on it. There's no PR you can do. So I'm in all my am I a milch. It's knock on the blade and pushing the blow of Lewis and Mohamed Sala as far as I'm concerned. And not to say he wouldn't be a good addition if it did happen. He's a cracker. He plays for Frankfurt. He's top scorer at the Bundesliga. Oh, heavily linked with him at the moment. But you know, there's no spin you can put on this to be positive. I think, always said before that, you know, I think the club was being caught short on this when Klopp announced he was gone. But they have to act. You know, they have to act. They can't quibble over the two or the three year now that Emmett is in the now two to three year contract. If that's what they want the extra year, give them the year. These players have earned it. These players have have done everything that they that they wanted that we wanted them to do. And in in all our circumstances, I would say these players I was noting. And if they want to go, they go with your blessing, your shake a hand pat on the back tanks for everything, but not trade them at the same time. No. And that is the killer. Not trade them at the same time. No. And to be honest with you, like if you if you give these if you give trend five years and you give which is fair enough. Right. I think it would be more money with Trent. And that's not a slight trend. I think he's looking for his big, big contract at 24 or 26 or whatever he is now. And he deserves it. You know what I mean? The absolute deserves it. With these lads here, they're on the same money but they're looking for trade rather than two. If you give them the tree and they're not performing after eight day a month, they'll know themselves. And if they're not on the soil, they'll say, I'm not fucking sitting here. No matter what, they're all the money in the world. And they end up turning around and going, listen, it's right where you go, where you're here to go because I want to go and play some football. And that's the other soil that you have to look at. If they do perform because of fuck where they actually are in two or three years, the time that they're still performing. But I still think something needs to come at this in the next, well, definitely the next six weeks. I ask too. And Shawnee, looking at the rest of the league over the weekend, you see an accident getting beat in the new castle. See, get beaten. And then bomb it. Of course, we be broing. I feel like I've beaten a sports forest win. Still going for a play to them. It was a really good weekend for Liverpool, wasn't it? And, you know, it's a tough run again as we have. But when you look, I think Liverpool is in the week, Liverpool at home, next Saturday night, then it's the international break. And I think it's a real pepper Liverpool step to come in with a game yesterday with a victory. And then look at what's going on around you. And you've put your seven ahead of ours and you've gone to ahead of the city. And it's... Will Liverpool be looking to say, right, let's just win this next league game because we've seen you coming up in, you know, a couple of league games. This episode is brought to you by LinkedIn. It was just so fucking big. I thought it was so big when they were seeing them as old yesterday. Yeah, when the scars are coming in real time, you are thinking Jesus Christ. City and Liverpool are going to be lucky. It's not a lot of the hook. City went 10-0 now, and we were still one-0 now at that stage. And then two goals and quick succession, I think, and fuck. This is huge. This is a tournament, but a huge final 15 minutes. I just think it's okay if you want to do anything in the league against Man City. Whenever they do drop points, yeah, yeah. Capitalism. So, and we did just that. I'm not really worried about anyone else, because you now want to get to the take of it. Here we are going to be up against. But in the grand scheme, it's perfect because literally the way that the fixtures lined up this week, Chelsea against you know, it's spores against Billie. New class last year. I think these are probably teams who, in the back end of the season, will be looking to push you into top four. And you're putting points on the bar against them as well. So, yeah, I think it's the perfect weekend. Or a little three o'clock Saturday, because you're just kind of in the mix and you can go about your business. And then, again, on a day loop yesterday, when you're winning a game, you can just sit down today and enjoy the football. So, yeah, it was a job we're doing in the end. They pulled the road above, and you put, look, it's only three points. It's three points for the win. Yeah, putting numbers on the bars. We still haven't played any one yet. Caught to everyone else. And so, if you can go through the next three quarters of the season, without playing any one, I think it would be all right that won't be because that's how far we are. And now, you always say that 10, 10 games in is quite the magic, the magic brand. But for me, it's all positive. I actually think this gets the goal for Liverpool. Like Keith said, it is a walk in progress. And I think Elliot, Elliot coming back will be welcomed. Back into the squad, obviously, we'll have Jonathan back. And hopefully, we see some sort of cameo from Kihei set in the games coming back. Sorry, just the word on Kihei's is that he won't. He's basically doing a pretty season. Yeah, he's basically doing a pretty season. Yeah, he's basically doing a pretty season. Look, we all know that's going to be made. So, I'm not going to get the upset over it. But yet, now, so far, so good. I think, we're not even getting cool. We're not getting any, we're not getting any real. We're going to listen to that thing, like, I need to have all those. And I have to get every super strong day, like I need to have a podcast with a man who I will try to tell you, Peter Droy, and live up to me and get a mention. And I'm happy for it to go. I'm happy for it to do that way. You know, like, I think we'll just keep them up. What about their own? I think there's a... I'm really, really, really, really impressed. Boy, boy, I understand. I think I said this after three years. I said, "I hope I'm not going to, really." But the more I say, the more. He just, in a different way, the club, he gets it. And he started a kind that you need after the frenzy that was-- But in the motion, yesterday, you looked after the game? Yeah, now, just a little spoken. I don't know whether anyone else knows. They were at full time yesterday. There's normally a clapper away, but there was a little spoken. There was one on the end of the club. And the crowd reacted, like, you know what I mean? It was a little bit, like, spoken. A shake in the face is it the same. A spoken. Or an end is there. And he referenced the yesterday after the game, how he was blown away by the crowd and how they pulled them out of the line when they needed it. He's playing the folk of London. I love listening to him. Yeah. I love listening to him speak. He's not a wafla. There's a damn bullshit room. He's sound, man, out of town. And when someone is speaking truth, and I'm not this way, you can literally sit there and listen to them all day. I actually think the media really like him. I think he's handling all that, so it really well. He's just going about his business, to be honest with you. And it's perfect. I don't know whether you're seeing the podcast. There was a lot on-- I actually don't even know where the games are. It is. But he talked about a conversation he had with Trent about-- That was Simon Rimmel, was it? Yeah. Yeah. He talked about a conversation he had with Trent and how Trent was blown away by his smile, details, and how he was expecting them to fall against the skin of a lawyer. But no, it was on the farm. Look, he's flying. He's absolutely flying. And it's just-- it's one of them. Look, yeah, looking at that there, a little up here, whacking up the fixtures when I went. Well, flying. Well, flying so far, it would be great to get a result now. Maybe we can't play like him and then bounce into the villa game and go into the last international break. Really going there, going higher over the Christmas. So, yeah, look, 10 games in. This is the same decision when you take stuff for the fourth time. And I think he's fucking flying colors. It comes to mind. I think we're absolutely flying. And I actually enjoyed the random folk party play, to be honest with you. I announced that's not for some people. Well, I'm really enjoying it. So, look, we were tall after club. It won't be the same, but it doesn't mean it can't be great. And the early signs are very, very good. It's key to how much-- look, people say it's only three points. It's a big three points of Liverpool in the terms of how the game went and stuff like that. You know, if we're tuning up a hump to Brighton then they get a late fucking goal. You know, a consolation goal on the last minute of injury time you go. Yep, it was handling up, but it was a big three points of Liverpool. And the fact that teams around was lost and that kind of beat each other in some circumstances was great. How much encouragement did Liverpool take from the CE and Arsenal results? Because I look at Liverpool and I don't think we're the finished article. I'll agree with you. You said it earlier. I don't think we are, right? I think those more offers to come. I definitely think those more to come most. And I don't want this to come across as being a fucking dickhead towards CE and Arsenal, but I look at CE and I think these have a massively misenraging into Brighton and they just look a bit soft to me, to be fair, right? They look a bit soft. I'm going to look at Arsenal. I think I've had this making stuff up to try fucking to try and mass something and then they get beaten there yesterday. No, but one of the things is to get beaten. We sound like him. No, they get beaten there yesterday and you look at the team he puts out and then it's all being pinned on all the guy who's named, and Calli Fiore is named and you're like... They might have gears to go up, but I feel like they're maybe not stolen. Maybe I'm going a bit early on this, but they feel to me like there could be more problems there. You know, I can see more problems there than I can see more progression if you get me. Maybe that's just me being Liverpool. But how much do we take over these games? I think we should take it off a lot. Our deal was a lot of the weekend. Yeah, I think we really showed. If this was back when Klopp was here, this would be pinnacle to all the stuff. You get a match on CE and you have to go because this was back. Yeah, I get 90 odd points in the lay campaign. Every defeat was catastrophic nearly. Now, we've dropped off over the last few years, and Arsenal really think they're in that top game. They don't think they have another gear to go. They don't do the 90 points. They don't do the, you know, can't afford the defeat. And still be chasing it. So they don't have the minerals and that's not a... That sounds like a petty dig until they prove that they have, they don't have it. And I think this is the max for them. Like they went on about all these injuries last week. They had a few injuries in the game. As Emily thinks said earlier, we had injuries. Do you know what I mean yesterday? We get on with it, we play. It's a killer when it happens. We had the year after we won the league where we lost all our players and had sent our maids playing all over the shop and that Phillips and Reece Williams playing at the back. And we got no full consistency for that. So we don't give ourselves any sympathy for having a few injuries. The only reason they were able to compete, in my opinion, to an extent, was because they got full goal injuries over the last couple of years. They had a set squad all the time. They went there and they played and they won their games. They never to me felt and points, it's great, you know, but they never felt like they were able to win it. They never got the impression that they could have overtakened C in the chases they were in. We had to deal with once. We missed out three times, our toys are really close. You know, we have a point in the hoi noisies. I'm not saying this team knows what a need, because it's a different manager and a lot of the players are new, but there are still players in there that know what it takes and have the muscle memory of doing this. So we get them little weekends where you get the win and they lose. You just have to hope you keep building on it because it's not going to be season the final. So here we won the league early on. At this stage early on, it felt like they were season the final because we were steaming ahead. We were getting the villa result. Remember the tier one of the weekends, villa, where we-- Around this time in the season. Exactly. The exact same day as the Britain game. Yeah. And see you were losing, but that felt, that felt, because that was the peak time when I was saying, when you're quoting the four of the feet, that felt like we were a fucking runaway train at that stage. This is different, but it's still big. It's still okay. It's still vital that you cap it the lowest when they lose. I'm saying all the arsenal show you online where they're only looking to see, you know, and let them do that. Let them look at city. Live up here, just keep on mountain and just hope that the lowest on Mount Salah, the verge of Andoics, the Trent Alexander Annals, the Allison Becker's, all these people who've been there who've done a court is Jones. You know, we've got a squad of players that are quite experienced and we can just keep going with them as much as we can. But is there anybody in this squad that has a Mont Salah for Liverpool? Well, they've all won Salah. They've all won Salah, well, except for Kiaiza. Yeah, he's a whore. Yeah, but everyone else has won Salah and have a loaded one to live. Yeah, exactly. You kind of paint the finals and... I think you can guarantee, if I have someone to look at city, that's for you, I can guarantee to see you are looking at Liverpool. Yeah, see you know how this fucking goes. Yeah. And that's why me telling you to live up all the way, but see you know the game here. Do you know the start away? We know more than most, so I don't think a team, so I don't think we ever went more than two seasons, tell to tell the city. We always had a bit of a drop off. Arsenal have gone the last two seasons. I won't say tell to tell, but they were the biggest, they were kind of the biggest kind of rivals to the league. That takes its toll. Like somebody said there, they had a good injury list. You have to kind of nearly, you're kind of... I'm not going to say you decline, but you need to nearly take a breath and you need to regroup, and this just feels like what happened to us when we used to go against the city. You'd go two seasons against them, and then you'd have a couple of injuries or you'd need to regroup, and I think you know it had finished second, one of the seasons that we dropped off. And like this is what's happened to me, this is what's happening to Arsenal now. And I think, I think our attempt and needs to win this season, or else the questions need to be asked, like is one covid cup. You want me to hear what you're saying? I think he's getting away with it that he's going for it. There are questions beginning to be asked. Like I think he needs to win a Champions League or a League, and I think Cup or a League Cup is not going to do it. Definitely questions need to be asked. Has he taken them as far as he can take them? Well, you'll only know that at the end of the season. Because I honestly made Arsenal heavy enough favourites for the League when CE last Rodriguez. Because it's hard to squall Arsenal hard, where Liverpool are, with regards to a new manager and stuff. I just heard Arsenal what they got last season could look and go. We're going to do the ones that make huge advantage of what's going on with CE. But I'm going to try to get Shawnee on Mio, because he has himself as Mio, but we're going to try to get him on Mio. The team started to go on a last year with Shawnee. We talk about, you know... Just before we go back to what MS said there about people being, like I had there being on like, like scrim me if he doesn't win it. It's not got to be what fans are perception. It's got to be with the players in the squad. I think if you look at, like if you look at back of like a club's reign, that champion's league win. If we don't win that, our girls probably don't win another team. You don't, you just don't. It's like patches, balls, they go close, toys, and you finish toward the teal horse race. It's so fucking difficult to get players to boy into something, where that level of intensity is required of a long period of time. If there's no car at the end of the road. If you dangle the car, do you have to get the car? And that's what happens is, because what happens is, there might be a few eagles in this squad going, we're at the fucking deal and everything here, and he probably should be able to sell a couple of toys here. And then that's when players would start to taunt. So players that taunt on a manager before fans ever deal. That just happens naturally in football. You see in a patch, you ran the botletale sports for a few years. They won't know, and the players just couldn't go to the well anymore. So they gave up, they said, "Foke this." That's what will happen at Arizona. That's exactly what will happen. And I totally agree with you. In F.A. Kupan, that's where you need to take them cope competitions a little bit more serious if you want a new board of manager coming to you. Because if you actually look at the fourth toy, Maria wins in England. It's a car in Kupan against Liverpool. If you look at the fourth toy of Guardiola wins in England. It's a car in Kupan for City. And that is always the plan, because it's kind of saying, "We'll build on this and we'll move forward now." And it's fucking clock went big and got the champions there. But that was the impetus to go there next year. And they'll bang me. They'll go and win the league there next year. Because if you don't... Remember that when the two, the Monday before the two, was like, "Company bangles weren't there before I die." And they'll look for folks there. And then we go and be biased. And I want to fall on the end of the following. Like, that's how football walks. And I think that's what's going against us. But at the same time, I just think I asked them... And see, yeah, the antithesis of each other in this race. City's heart, isn't it? It's quite... Or you question their heart. And I even hear Cole Walker talk about needing the heart. They were, I think, heavily with the heavily reliant on Ireland. And they have a big, spoken elephant in the room as well, which they more pretend is not bothering me. But you're better at that than it is. They didn't look at who they saw in the summer. They bought a fella from Gerona who they are already on, and the army got called the album back. It was there a few years ago. Like, they happened to sell that to players now as well. And I just think I saw that the opposite way. It's 10 games in, and it's frenzied. And like you said, I hear the sound on the shoulder and look at it. It's no effect, and it's just overly dramatic. They've been overly dramatic for the longest time. Like, I just... I think that's where I just feel like... Sluts playing and blowing down. And we're made a week in the... on a W set. We'll just relax and take in a long game or 20. But that's the cliche I will. But I think that's a great point, because I think, like, we look... I always say, I always look at Christmas around Paddy's Day. And that's where you really know where you're willing, into this ruling. I think... I think Liverpool need to take this in little groups of games. Little targets. What are we targeting off Liverpool and then Villa? What are we targeting off Liverpool? Yeah, OK. Three games with C.E. Madrid and at home that week. What are we looking to get out of this? And I suppose, instead of making it... Instead of making it, like, all the next A games in Liverpool, if they're looking at two or three games, I think it actually focuses on... A, what do you want to achieve in these games? B, how do you want to progress? And if you can get little progressions in every game, it'll keep yourself going. It'll keep yourself going. Yeah. I don't normally feel like you can make... I don't normally feel like January Windows somewhere you can do something that completely changes your season. But I actually think that January Windows is going to be fucking years now. I genuinely do. Yeah. Because I think, I actually need to find the phones to go out and buy a striker. Yeah. And C.E. I'm going to need to do something to plug the hole. I'd usually leave it because the safety blanket is gone. You can just tell. They got bullied yesterday. I'd bomb it when I was... They were ran all over. And I think Liverpool have an opportunity to probably go back to some of the ladies here with me and go, "Fucking, come on, come on." Because it can... If January is trying to inspect the fans, it can do that. And it can give you that little bit of a fucking... Pushing it. I genuinely think that this January Windows is going to be huge. Yeah. That's not about you. I don't normally... I don't... I fucking normally hate it. I hate all the transfer and responsible. I do feel like there's an opportunity for someone to get a Lego pair in January. I agree with you. I think... I think... Oh, there was three clubs. I think... I think all of them should be looking in January for different reasons. I think... I think Anderson should be looking... I think you're really... Anderson should be looking in Australia. But they had to get in January. That's the only thing. I think Zuber Mandy is interested because I think... I think City might look at him. With regards to the whole Rodgers left. Liverpool might go back and look at him. They might do because they have me in good social ads since... He didn't join Liverpool. And I think... Liverpool are flying high and they go to go listen. You know, like you said, get on board here. And it means you've got another option in midfield. And you're dropping lads in and out. And even if you're given those three lads that are there, your main three, you're given them a chance to be at that prime level every single week. Even if they have to start every game, they're coming off on 60. They're cutting that walkway by 20, 40%. Do you know what I mean? It's not 40%. It's not 40%. It's not making it till it's still woke up. But you know what I'm saying? Look, it just gives him an eruption to keep us primed as it goes. But I think little targets are over one or two games to progress. Here we're playing. We're still getting results. I think Liverpool should be looking at this. It's just great crack. Right? They're over there having a fucking meltdown. They're over there with all these charges against them. We don't want to be that team. We had a great time. We want to keep the pressure off ourselves. I think that's only fair on a new manager and stuff. But I think we have the potential to have the biggest momentum out of them all. And I really mean that. I think you'll be getting momentum behind. I think nothing is legit up here when you put momentum behind. I really, really don't. The worry with the January, the worry with the January window for me is that I think you know they're going to be scatter going on all over the shop. I'm really coming in there. And he's going to be looking for a doll to fix that squad. And I think they might be ones. You don't want them sniffing around players and driving prices up and shit like that. Yeah. They're full skis. Money. Money. Yeah. Now, will there be some sort of wrangle that could get around? You know, you hear someone show eat that again. We're talking. Well, show me about. The talk was that 10 had was going to be just given as long as they called because second up now was ham stronger when January mainly can't spend the penny. I think you know, they're going to be doing, I don't want to go off because whatever it is. You know, they're going to be shopping around them longs again in January. I guarantee it. Yeah, because a lot, a lot of we speak, a lot of we speak to them. The back was up, you know, it's funny. He tell you as it is. And he said, oh, he said tomorrow, look, I said, you know, they're being linked with about eight players there. And then the last four days, he goes, I'm already fucking boy. And I'm like, because they don't have it. He said, the only way you know, you can get money now. He said, they have to strip that squad and get the PSR down. He said, the PSR is fucking close. He said, I'm telling you now. It's close. So you can't really go on doing stuff. But I think I really try to think one or two lines, but he's in there. And we'll see what happens with them. Did they only give me two-year deal? No, I don't think so, do they? No, it's three years. That's it. Yeah. And head coach. Yeah, but that's just right. That's no different than what slots. No. Yeah, it's all. It's just awarding for me. Roy, we better go. We're well over. We're now in 15. Really enjoyed. I've covered loads. Emma, anything else before we go? No, no, how good? Good stuff. Good stuff. Your kitchen is lovely. It's wet, are you? Yeah. She's off. Anything else before we go? No, no. All good. Yeah. Not necessarily interesting. Okay. Good stuff. Shani. Anything else before we go? That's not Emma's kitchen. That's a grain skin. He's still up in the car. Yeah. That's a car. Now that he builds around there, actually those are cool. He gets a grip. The floors around him. Over and over there. Oh, God. I think we kept the monetization this week. So, that's another dog deal in the Bible. Oh, God. Oh, Shani. God fucking else. As I said before, over the monetized every week, saw what? We're having a nice time. We're having a nice time. Yeah. We're having a nice time. I'm just trying to apologize for the wet demands in the chat. We're better at the sounds. Oh, yeah. Yeah. But you did have six minutes and 40 seconds. We had to go focus ourselves on the fans. We probably listened to our own subscribers. I don't know. I said this. I think we wrote it down. Which I think is much for Muslims, isn't it? Yeah. That's a green in Ireland, isn't it? Yeah. You know. See, that's the thing with the... You said "con-cloud" last week, right? But the thing is... Yeah. You're right after now. You're right after now. But what I'm saying is, right? That word doesn't mean in Ireland what it means everywhere else. Yeah. Do you know what I mean? Like, when you like someone, you go, "Ah, he's some con, isn't he?" And then, like, well, it's a shadow of affection, isn't it? Yeah, it is the time of a damage. Yeah, the time of a damage. Yeah, the time of a damage, yeah. It's going... Ireland is the only con to your way. Our response could be someone fuck off and I beat this. Yeah. You're saying, "Yeah." Yeah. Yeah. Oh, someone says, "Yeah." Well, you do not... Oh, yeah. Which means I definitely won't. I really need holidays. So, yeah. So, yeah. So, don't be... Don't panic. Anyway. It's being lovely. Don't forget to check out football prizes. The latest one is up there. It's running for the next Tuesday. Loads and loads of instant prizes. So, it's in the description. I chart these are in the descriptions as well. And also, Phil's one for the Laurel Lynn Hospice. So, if you want to donate any, then you can. If you want to take the link and share it with your family, friends, colleagues. Yeah. You can. You can do that as well. I'll be back tomorrow at 10 a.m. For a member show where we just talk wherever we want for 30 minutes. We will be back tomorrow and we'll be looking back on the weekend. Football. And then we'll be looking at the Liverpool's in game. On Tuesday night, and we play wins. You don't mean against Liverpool's in... Oh, yeah. Obviously. It's a Tuesday night. Alright. But back on Tuesday night, I always get this mixed up. We'll be back on Tuesday night and we'll be reacting to Liverpool's. And then we'll start looking forward to the weekend and stuff like that. Villa, yeah, sadly. That's it. Thanks to Keith. Thanks to Emma. Thanks to Shani. Thanks everyone in the chat. Hit like, subscribe, comment, become a member. Do whatever you want. That's being the talking cop. I'll run out. This podcast is part of the Sports Social Podcast Network. [BLANK_AUDIO]
