Yeah, joining us now on the KOA Common Spirit Health Hotline to talk more about it is Voice of the Bronco's Dave Logan. Dave, thank you so much for your time as always. I think where we'll start here is quarterback Bonix, having a really career best game yesterday. However, do we think it's going to be enough and what do we need to see in order to see this next tough stretch of the Ravens' Chiefs in back-to-back games? Well, good morning, Gina, I mean, it was enough for yesterday. I thought he threw the ball well. You obviously have to balance out who they're playing. The Carolina's not a very good football team, but I thought he took positive strides, right? It was more accurate with the ball. He had some guys open. They got the tight ends involved, a little bit more in the passing game. He got caught in the sudden involved early, which I thought he would since Corbin didn't have a target against the Saints and all in all, I mean, it was certainly statistically his best game. And I thought even without the stats, I thought he threw the ball as well yesterday as we've seen him in any game this season. I was listening to the broadcast of you guys on the app, and I agree with you on that throw he made there in the corner of the end, so it was like he sidearned it. I'm not even sure he was necessarily looking, but he whipped it out there. I said that, to me, is an elite-level kind of quarterback throw, and that's the evolution I'm seeing. He may not obviously be there. Yet he's rookie. But do you like the progression of Bo Nixx eight games in? Well, you know, Marty, I thought he played well yesterday. I mean, there's two throws. One, he rolls to his left and throws the ball down in a way that I think was Nate Atkins went down to make the catch. That ball had perfect placement on it, and he was running to his left, which at times can be a challenging throw for a right-handed quarterback. The one I think you're referring to was the one he threw to Jalil McLaughlin in the flat. To me, it looked like he was looking in the end zone, but knew that he had Jalil in the flat, and he sidearmed that ball, and it was completely accurate, and then Jalil did the rest. So yeah, I mean, I thought yes, true as a positive day. I thought, you know, when a team starts owing to, and you've got a rookie quarterback, and after the first two weeks, you have zero touchdown passes and four interceptions. People start thinking about, okay, this could go really bad, really bad this season, but to the Broncos credit. I mean, they have sort of right of the ship, they've won five of six. They're not giving the ball away on offense, as they did in the first couple of games. And now, as you said, there's a very tough stretch of games coming up starting Sunday in Baltimore. That's still a little sloppy in the beginning of the game yesterday, and a little sloppy at the end of the game yesterday. What really needs to be adjusted and fixed ahead of those two big games we're going to see coming up? Well, I mean, the receiver's have to not fumble a ball. That's pretty simple. I mean, those are two good receivers, both Jordan, Humphrey, and Corbin's sudden. And they know this. I mean, you can't put the ball down after a catch. That's the first thing. So, I think you look at Baltimore yesterday, they lost a tough one in Cleveland. Ravens are in explosive offense. They can beat you in a lot of different ways. But I mean, they have had their problems on defense, and they've had their problems specifically against the past. So, it will be a very tough game in Baltimore because they'll bounce back after the effort they had yesterday. But I would think the Broncos had to feel pretty good about themselves right now. I was watching that game thinking of you all thinking, "Look, we shouldn't assume you can beat a team like Carolina because the record's being what they are." And I was watching the Cleveland game thinking, "I don't think anybody had that on their scorecard that Cleveland would be Baltimore and how that happens." So, it is as you've always emphasized a week-to-week league. Having said that, Dave, I would imagine these next two games, Baltimore, one game at a time, obviously, in Kansas City, we will actually learn a lot about the Broncos, these next two games. Will we not? Yeah, I think so. I mean, you're playing two of the best teams, if not the two best teams. I think you could include Buffalo in that. I think the Chiefs, when they have launched the game, Baltimore and Buffalo, to me, right now would be the three best teams in the AFC and you're playing two of them on the road in the next two weeks. So, and then you come home against Atlanta, even though I'm quite certain the team will not be looking that far ahead. But, you know, big game Sunday, I think this is going to be a real good test. It's a great test for the Broncos defense as well, which has been playing outstanding. You know, Vance Joseph, the coordinator, has really brought a lot of pressure in the first eight games of the season, more pressure than any other NFL team. Now, can you do that against the March X, and then what does that defensive plan look like? I think it's a really interesting matchup for the Broncos. Dave, we'll wrap up with this, our social media poll question for this morning asking listeners. Are you surprised, close to halfway through the season now, at what we've seen with the Denver's success, what is your overall thoughts on it? Well, I mean, Gene, I think you would be surprised if you said, "Hey, after the first two weeks, you know, what is this team going to win five to six?" I think most people would say, "No, that's probably not going to happen." But I mean, I think Bo got off to a little bit of a slow start, but I think he, I mean, they have found a nice sort of recipe for him. They can run him some, they can get him calmed down. And I think he's a kid that really, if you watched him play at Oregon, you know he can throw the ball, and he's been accurate. And even though at times in the NFL early, we haven't seen that. I mean, that happens to virtually every rookie quarterback. So yes, I think at five and three, this team has to feel pretty good about, you know, what they've accomplished and really looking forward to the next stretch of games and with a positive attitude. And I understand you're paid to win games in the NFL, not just play them if I'm correct in that, right? Somebody told me that. Voice in the Broncos, Dave Logan, thanks, Dave. See you guys.
