Dave, thank you so much for your time as always. Well, as a coach yourself, what was your overall thoughts of this interaction we saw between Nix and Coach Payton? Is it in all good fun? Is it healthy to have a little bit of that? What was your overall reaction to it? Well, every time I've asked a question like that, I first differentiate the difference between high school and the NFL. There's a big, big difference. But I think it's an exchange that happens. And I actually think Sean sort of likes it. I know that he likes Bo. I know he likes sort of his demeanor and the makeup of a young quarterback. And what I think it shows is that Bo is comfortable enough to sort of state his case. And as long as you do that the right way, the quarterback can do that much, much easier and more frequently than any other player on the team. So I would make too much about what we saw yesterday. I also thought it was interesting to see the OC. It looked like advocating for Nix in that thing too, that he was being strong because of a healthy amount of contention with Peyton as well, basically defending himself and inventing Nix against Peyton. Yeah, I think that position coaches, they develop a real relationship with their players. And many, many times it's a relationship that I don't want to say supersedes the player head coach relationship. But they're there to take care of their guys. They're there to advocate for their guys. They're there to make sure that the communication is good. I mean ultimately he works for Sean, but he's got to coach Bo. So yeah, again, I don't think it was anything that merits a heck of a lot of attention. I mean to me it was kind of humorous. Not so hot of a start in the beginning of this game, but then obviously pulling through three wins in a row for the Broncos now. What did you see yesterday that you really liked and what are some things that you still think needs to be worked on? Well, a pretty resilient group, a group that, as you said, it didn't get up to a great start. But I thought they got the offense going a little bit in the second half of the defense again with three turnovers. I think Sean had the stat after the game that if you get a turnover, you stand an 80% chance at winning with that turnover. That three of them and the Broncos offense didn't turn the ball over. So it's far from perfect. There are plenty of things to work out. I mean, John T. Williams is leading receiver with five catches. You still got to find ways to get the ball to wide receivers. But you know what, if you can do this while you're winning some games, I mean ultimately, and I've said it so many times before, guys are hired and fired based on how many games they win, not the stats. So, I mean, this team has put a three-game win streak together. They held, as we like to say, court at home, which they have not been good at doing, especially in the division. And now you got another big one coming up on Sunday against the Chargers. I thought it was so fitting, Dave, that they honor the 77 team known for the orange crush. And this Broncos team's defense reminiscent of just being a wrecking ball and so stout and so good. I thought the symmetry of that was something to behold a little bit. I thought, you know what, Marty, it was a cool weekend. And I think, and I've said this before, I said it yesterday, MC'd the event before the game at Ring of Fame Plaza to see Steve Foley. And Riley Odom's go in and a lot of the orange crush defense was there, had a chance to visit Tom Jackson, which was absolutely great. Saw Bobby Swenson, I mean, that was such an iconic defense. But I think, you know, we should also point out that Greg Pinner and his wife, Kerry Walton Pinner, the owners of the Broncos, have just done a great job of bringing back former players and making them feel welcome and making a big deal about it. I mean, that's a long time ago. It's 40, whatever it is, seven years ago. And to have the kind of weekend, to have the event on Saturday night. And it was just a really cool weekend. The Broncos absolutely did it right. And now, like you said, big game gearing up for Sunday against the Chargers. What do we expect to see? What do we have to see to keep this winning streak going? Well, I mean, you know what you're going to get with Jim Harbaugh. He's got a great quarterback in Justin Herbert, but they're going to run the ball. They want to run the ball. And so this is going to be one of those fist bites in a phone booth sort of game. And the Broncos defense will get tested. And I think you've got to continue to see progress. You've seen really good play from the defense. You've seen at times good play from the offense. You've got to continue to hope to see that consistency in offense. But I mean, I thought they took a positive step yesterday, especially in the second half, and especially with the young quarterback. In wrapping up with you, I'll ask you the poll question we put out to the listeners about what level of surprise do you have for the Broncos, these first five games. Extremely, really somewhat not surprised. What is your level of like looking now five games in with this team? Surprised or not? Well, I mean, I've been a little surprised how well the defense would play. I thought they would be good. They've been able to generate consistent pressure on the quarterback. I'm not really surprised with their ability to stop the run. I think they've played good interior run defense. So I would say somewhat surprised. I thought maybe the offense would get going a little bit quicker. They didn't, but it looks like they're showing signs. They've got things revved up a bit. So I mean, it's been, you went three games in a row. You've got to be doing something right. So they've played pretty good football. Let's see if we can keep the streak going.
