AP News, Good morning, I'm Ed Donohue, and Paris Secretary of State Anthony Blinken spoke about the deaths of seven aid workers from World Central Kitchen in Gaza in an Israeli air strike. "These people are heroes. They run into the fire, not away from it. They show the best of what humanity has to offer when the going really gets tough. They have to be protected." World Central Kitchen suspended delivery of vital food aid to Gaza. "We shouldn't have a situation where people who are simply trying to help their fellow human beings are themselves at grave risk." Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu acknowledged Israeli forces carried out the unintended strike on innocent people and would ensure it did not happen again. In Turkey, a fire at an Istanbul nightclub during renovations killed at least 29 people, several people, including managers of the club, are being questioned. A tugboat pushing a fuel barge is the first vessel to use an alternate channel to bypass the wreckage of Baltimore's collapsed Franciscot Key Bridge. A strong storm system is moving across the country. "Ohio really has a bullseye directly on us." Governor Mike DeWine says his state, along with others, are expected to get heavy rain and severe thunderstorms. The Labor Department says job openings barely changed in February, staying at historically high levels. Later today, after 67 years, Las Vegas' Tropicana Hotel and Casino is closing for good. Charlie Granato is a bartender there. "It was a Tiffany of Las Vegas, it was like an icon. When they started, the new places started coming in, Tropicana kinda, you know, but everybody liked the new place, but the Tropicana was always a classic hotel." Stocks are falling on Wall Street as worries linger that interest rates will stay high for longer than previously thought. The S&P 500 was down 1% in the first hour of trading Tuesday. The benchmark index is on track for a second loss in a row after hitting a record high last week. The Dow fell 436 points, it's about 1 in 1/10%, and as that composite was 1.5% lower. Health care companies led the market down after the government announced payment rates for Medicare Advantage next year. Those rates came in significantly lower than analysts had expected. Humana sank 13%, CVS Health lost 8.5%, Tesla dropped 5.5%, the company's sales fell sharply in the first three months of the year as competition increased worldwide, sales of electric vehicles slowed overall, and price cuts fell to drawing new buyers.
