This is AP News, I'm Rita Folle. A food charity group says an apparent Israeli strike in Gaza killed at least six international aid workers and their Palestinian driver. Those killed reportedly include a dual US-Canadian citizen. Israel says it's looking into this. The charity, the World Central Kitchen, was founded by celebrity chef Jose Andres. Former President Trump has posted bond in his fraud case. According to a court filing, Donald Trump has posted a $175 million bond in his New York civil fraud case. The bond halts collection of the more than $454 million he owes and prevents the state from seizing his assets to satisfy the debt while he appeals. A New York appellate court had given the former president ten days to put up the money after a panel of judges agreed last month to slash the amount needed to stop the clock on enforcement. The bond is meant to guarantee payment if the judgment is upheld. If that happens, Trump will have to pay the state the whole sum. If he wins, he will get back the money. A Norman Hall. Now to that cargo ship that rammed into the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore. The owner and manager of the ship want to limit legal liability in a new filing. The filing seeks to cap the company's liability at roughly $43.6 million. While lawyer Enrique Serna says the goal of synergy in Grace Ocean is to try to limit their legal exposure. What this does is it stops all litigation. It consolidates it in this one filing. A federal court in Maryland will ultimately decide who is responsible and how much they owe. I'm Lisa Dwyer. The Powerball jackpot is more than a billion dollars. Nobody matched the six numbers drawn Monday night. The Dow dropped 240 points yesterday. The S&P fell 10. This is AP News. Now to a case of bird flu transmitted to somebody in Texas. The AP's Jackie Quinn. Federal health officials say a case of human bird flu is linked to contact with dairy cows in Texas. Texas health officials say a patient is being treated for the bird flu after coming in contact with cows, which are now known to be susceptible to the avian flu virus. The patient's only reported symptom was eye redness. Federal health officials say this is the first known instance anywhere in the world of a person catching this version of bird flu from a mammal. Last month officials confirmed bird flu infections among cows in Michigan, Kansas and Texas. Non-experts calling this an unexpected and problematic twist. I'm Jackie Quinn. The number of traffic deaths fell last year, more than three and a half percent. I'm Rita Foley, AP News.
