AP News! Good morning, I'm Ed Donify. Ancient State Run TV is reporting the bodies of six foreign aid workers from World Central Kitchen were transported out of the Gaza Strip and into Egypt. They were killed by Israeli strikes after delivering food in Gaza at the White House National Security spokesman John Kirby, since Israel is expanding an investigation into the strikes. You expect that they will do a thorough job, a swift job, and that they'll be transparent about it, what they find. A Palestinian driver was also killed. In Brussels, NATO is debating a plan to provide long-term military help to Ukraine. Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg says stalled U.S. aid has consequences. That's one of the reasons why the Ukrainians have to ration the number of artillery shells, why they have problems standing up against the Russian force with overwhelming military power. Ukraine lowered the military conscription aid from 27 to 25 to help replenish depleted ranks. A new AP-Nork center poll shows people still agree on most core American values, but the AP's Amelia Thompson Davao reports there are disagreements. You about three in ten U.S. adults think that the U.S.'s democracy is functioning well. About half say that the U.S.'s democracy is functioning, but poorly. And 14 percent say the U.S. is not a democracy. A majority of Republicans think a culture grounded in Christian beliefs is an essential characteristic. The search continues for people unaccounted for after a powerful earthquake in Taiwan. Nine people were killed. People are trapped in rock quarries. Contact was lost with some people in a national park after the quake downed phone networks. Safety regulators ended a five-year investigation into complaints. Stocks are holding steadier on Wall Street following their worst day in weeks. Guess in P-500 was three-tenths percent higher in the first hour of trading Wednesday. The benchmark index clawed back about a third of its loss from the day before. The Dow rose 86 points. It's about two-tenths percent. The Nasdaq composite was one-tenth percent higher. Calmain Foods rose six percent. The company reported stronger than expected profit for its latest quarter and sold a record amount of eggs. Intel sank six-and-six-tenths percent. The chipmaker disclosed details about key parts of its business for the first time, including its money-losing foundry operation. Treasury yields rose in the bond market, yield on the ten-year Treasury, climbed 4.40 percent. The future of the royals and chiefs in Kansas City was thrown into question when residents of Jackson County, Missouri resoundingly voted down a sales tax measure that would have helped to fund a new downtown ballpark along with major renovations for Arrowhead Stadium.
