This is AP News. I'm Rita Folle. Several people, known dead now in a strong earthquake in Taiwan. Dozens of people are trapped in quarries. Some residents scrambling out of windows of damaged buildings. The AP's Charles D'Oleresma television images have shown neighbors and rescue workers lifting residents, including a toddler, through windows and onto the street, while schools evacuated their students to sports fields, equipping them with yellow safety helmets. In Tulsa, Oklahoma, a 46-year-old homeless woman who was sleeping at the entrance of a drainage pipe was killed. The storms prompted tornado watches overnight in parts of Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, Virginia and West Virginia, wherein Dunbar Ronnie Howard told WCHS he was at work when Tuesday's storm blew over a huge billboard that landed on top of his car. About 140,000 homes and businesses in West Virginia initially lost power in Wisconsin more than 70,000. I'm Donna Warder. Now to federal prosecutors and a case involving Donald Trump. Federal prosecutors are scolding the judge, presiding over former President Donald Trump's classified documents case in Florida. The prosecutors are trying to warn her off potential jury instructions. They say rest on a fundamentally flawed legal premise. The filing from special counsel Jack Smith's team came in response to an unusual order from US District Judge Eileen Cannon that ordered prosecutors to file proposed jury instructions that appear to accept Trump's argument. He's entitled under the presidential records act to retain the sensitive documents he's now charged with possessing Smith's team says the premise is wrong. I'm Julie Walker.
