Hello, good evening. Welcome to Talking Cop, a finished Liverpool 2 Aston Villanelle. Liverpool are now five points clear at the top of the Premier League. We'll say that one more time. Liverpool are five points clear at the top of the Premier League. It's me, Chris Brack, and I'm here with my two friends, Kevin Ashley. Ashley, as Saturday's go, it's getting quiet. It's quite nice, haven't it, isn't it? It's fantastic. I mean, we're a really good side, guys. I'm really excited about this. Thank you. I know. I mean, I don't know. Have we played anyone yet? I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. Yeah. I don't think it counts yet. I don't think we've played anyone yet. Careful. Have we played anyone yet? Does it count yet? Oh, we still got a win. No, no, no. I'm kidding. I mean, the big tests are yet to come out there. Let's be honest about it. Yeah, yeah. It's easy. Yeah. You know what I mean? It's like, you know, you've only played the likes of Ball Muff, who have beaten City and Arsenal. And you've only played the likes of Brighton, who have beaten City. But, you know, the top of the table with 28 points and a goal difference of plus 15. That's as good as another point at the minute. So, you know, we're flying it at the minute. We are. We're playing it. We're playing brilliantly. And if you're not enjoying this, then maybe football is near sport. Yeah. This is not as good as it gets. But if Carlsberg did Saturdays, that's 200 bounce. They've done a really good job. But same point last year, we had 24 points. So we're already four points up after 11 games. And like for like games were identical. So, you know, you can't really fault it at the same point last year, City on 27. So, you know, you're in the round. Way to be. Yeah, we're around two and a half points a game. So, Garmack says, do we get happy Kev tonight? Always get happy Kev, mate. Probably. He hides it very well. Make it happen. I'm all good. I'm all good. So actually lineups, two changes. Robble came in for Simicast and Nunes came in for Gapo. Happy, surprised. Anything else you would have seen different? I mean, I think at this point, we've seen that there are a few positions that slot feels comfortable rotating pretty regularly. I think a lot of us were wondering if Simicast would keep his place. You know, I think with the form that Diaz was in with the hat trick, I could have quite easily seen him staying in the middle to keep that confidence going. So, I wasn't surprised. There are just, you know, there are a couple of things where you're like, you're curious about what he's going to do. And I like the fact that he has that freedom and that we don't necessarily know exactly what the 11 is going to look like because I think that means the opposition coaches don't know either. Yeah, I think so. I mean, Kev from your perspective. I mean, left back for left back, that's kind of what we expect really, isn't it? I suppose the only debate we had on the previous show on Thursday was, you know, would it be McAllister or would it be supple's life? Yeah. Because I think Joseph Rambach felt like locks. I think if you know how Bill are going to play and you've got an idea and how everybody is going to set up, you're largely going to have the ball. So having McAllister in the middle of the park who can take it in tight spaces and you can turn to turn possession around. You don't mind that. And in fairness, I thought he did that pretty well most at night. It was, you don't mind the changes that he's making because while the changes are being made, the way we play, it doesn't change. I mean, it's the tweaks that he's made in the set up so far, everyone is bored into it, and it doesn't matter really who the lineup is. They're all going to try more or less to play the same way. So yeah, no problem with the lineup. I suppose Cody can feel kind of not hard done by because at the end of the day, it's a squad game and Diaz scored a hatchet last time out. So what are you going to do? Yeah, if you're going to have a night out, then have a night out, you know, while someone who's got a hatchet comes in and takes a place. Nah, nah, nah. You can't mourn too much about the lineup. And to be fair, it was more looking at them thinking, yeah, this is going to be a long night. This could be a stubborn nut to crack. It proved to me it was. It was hard work to like. Yeah, because they're a good side. They're a good side. Yeah, I think they're underperforming. They're definitely better than what their league position says they are, but I think this is the second time now, second season that they're in Europe. And they're the levels that you have to play in the Champions League. Then I don't think they have the squad depth to be able to make the number of changes that they want to make and maintain the level of performance that they need to make in the Premier League as well. Yeah, because we've seen with Chelsea this year in Europe a conference until he gets to probably like courses. You can really have a say, heavily rotate your squad and probably knockouts fairly comfortably. But what they're very good at is what they do, what they did tonight. You know, what they did tonight is what they're very good at sitting in, soaking up pressure, hitting seats, hitting sides on the break. You know, trying to create counters and trying to create opportunities. They're very, very good at it. And we had to be really disciplined on the ball and at times you weren't, and we were almost made pay for it. You know, but not that we'll get through to all of that as we get through it. Good, good for everybody to ever welcome coconut calories, just become a member, which is really cool. So if you want to be a member. It's a 390 answer, Kev. You're the admin here. And you'll get some of your statistics. I can't do the money in the background stuff. I'm just a pretty face in the corner of me. That's what it is. We'll go with that, Kev. So if you're 399 more, if you get more of Kev's pretty face, but no, we do exclusive members only shows which non-members can download latest podcasts. And, you know, we know had some good stuff. We did a member show. Was it Thursday? We did a preview show? Yeah. Especially over the summer, we do a lot of preview, a lot of members only stuff, you know, lots of like looking back at old, old games, old teams, you know, quizzes, which I don't do because I'm banned. And, you know, every loads of stuff. It's good fun, actually. And you get to go in our members chat, which is great fun. Lots of track and chill. I think it would be is just whacking five gifted submemberships into the chat. So grab them. If you're in the chat now, grab them gifted subs. Thank you. Thank you very much for that, mate. I really appreciate it. Good, good, good. Cool. So, it was quite a lively start. It wasn't actually quite end to end, you know, what you expected. My team was supposed to debate with them is is Megan Starter is it Bailey? That tends to be the one that's a bit of a like for like, but, you know, the back for was kind of what you expected, you know, banana, whatkins, you know, Rogers, you know, so it all kind of felt like the standard team, you know, which you would be difficult. But I thought they turned the book around the thought of the book, took it personally and tried to go with them a little bit. I hate when teams do that. It just bugs me. I'm a creature of habit. So whenever I have to, like, I don't know, I don't, it usually doesn't come to pass as that big of an advantage, but it does annoy me. So I'm sure it annoys them. You know the crowd. Yeah. I mean, that's true. Yeah, I think I think the beginning of the game, it felt kind of similar to, like, the labor season game where it was very much like, just feeling each other out. Like, that's what it felt like it just felt like we were shuffling players around trying to figure out what they were doing with their system. Like, no killer blows either way, but lively. And I think I think that's something that we come that I'm coming to expect with slot teams is, is just that little bit of almost like a learning period for like the first 15 minutes of games. I don't know if you guys feel the same way. I agree. I think it's probably because we're in that routine out of game recovery, game recovery. There isn't really much training time. So it's a little bit of it. Yeah, we'll have some video analysis, but the probably is like, first 15 minutes, see what we can do. And I think we've seen this season, because of the strong foundation we've got of a fairly stable back for with graphic version front. That does allow us to, you know, see things out a little bit and sort of work out where we're going. And then we can get in when we need to. Because I thought again, the character I thought he was excellent and today. Yeah, I mean, today was a real tough one because. Gravenberg, yeah, I mean, the thing is, we like to play through the middle, get the ball into from the back into midfield, then out wide and then try to make something happen from there. And Villa did their level best to try to block off all the avenues into the middle. And we had to be patient. And it was literally that for the entire first half. There were moments in the first half where it became a bit into wind. You know, it was quick paced at times. But for large chunks of that first half, for me, it was like, the best chances that we created were on the counter from their set pieces. But it was when we run the ball, we were trying to work on that, you know, trying to figure it out. I was surprised more teams don't turn us around that I feel genuinely I always find that fascinating and how sides just don't do it. Because I would do it every single time if I was in the fourths and captain, I would like, yeah, yeah, turn them around. Just to try to needle them, just try to do something different. And, you know, try to get some kind of reaction, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. The way the first half was going. You see it with some sides and villa are definitely one, you don't want to go behind. You know, that was my biggest fear that while we were trying to maintain possession and feel our way around in the first half, they did intercept the pass and get out and counter and walkings will get in. But because I think they could have been, they could be really stubborn, you know, and really tough not to break down. But as it stood, I mean, nothing really much happened up until the goal. You know, and you know, we dealt with their corners. There's like a throwback cap. We used to do that, which is we'd sort of get the opposition to get a corner. We got with this a great chance for us to go. Yeah, yeah, it was. And we went, we were that after years, you know, whether, and it was almost like a case of, okay, if the corner goes near post. More runs, Sadio's gone. And you're looking to find Paul into Bobby to be the linch. And this was very similar. It was. Virtual just great. Yeah, it wasn't. It was a ball into space. You know, it was like, I got, I got to hit this hard enough so that they can run on to it. And he just literally hid it into an area and he just deal with it, you know, just go and make something happen. We'll come back to the referee in a minute. But when Mo put him put Darwin through, he made that chance so much harder for himself. But in taking that big, in taking the touch wide, it forced Martinez to dive early. And it allowed Darwin to be able to get it over, get it over. If you only took a small touch, Martinez would probably smother it. Yeah, but the fact they took a bigger touch made Martinez would was already on the way down as the ball was going over. So fantastic finish. It's absolutely fantastic finish. But I don't know if there's a referee in the chat, if there's anyone who knows this or not. David Koo signaled that there was no foul. There was no advantage. There was no foul on Salah. I think it massively got him out of jail, the Darwin score. I don't know how you guys feel. I don't know if it makes a difference. I'd love if someone could clarify because I've tried to do some research in the background. And I can't, there's nothing specifically in the Premier League rulebook that gives that clarification about can the person get sent off for denial of the goal scoring opportunity, if the ball still goes in the net. But based on the freeze frame, all of the other criteria that we talk about were met with him taking Salah down. He was the last man, the defending, the defender that was covering was a significant distance away. He wasn't getting there. And he was in straight on goal. It wasn't like he was running to the corner like the, um, what was the game that we were that we had where we had. I forget Chelsea. Yes, it wasn't like that. He was in on goal. So all of the other criteria that they talk about for a red card were met. So I just don't know if there is like a weird exception of if the ball goes in the net that they don't do that. Could it go into the double jeopardy rule? I don't think there is. Like, if you're, if you're, if you're, if you deny goals, if you give a penalty away, if they don't send you off, they give you a yellow. Yeah, because outside of the box. Yeah, because the only time I've ever seen anyone deny a goal score, but they still score was when we beat whole few years ago where the whole player handballs it on the line, but then many scores anyway. But they still sent him off because they're like, yeah, I'm bald at. So all in or time ends. Uh, no, it was, it was a, it was a converted winger. I think it's an Egyptian. I can't remember. It'll cause me. Oh, maybe. That's it. Something like that. It was that did. Yeah, so. I don't know. Oh, Mohammed. That's him. Oh, Mohammed. Yeah. So that's him and Simon over. But when you watch the replay and this, the, from the few times I'll give Fletch any credit because he's. Fuck it awful. I'd rather listen to Martin Tyler. They'll listen to him, which he's saying something. Uh, they showed, they showed behind the goal run. And you see a signal and a signal isn't advanced. It's wiping his arms to say no foul, which. Actually. Make it make sense. I wish I could. I mean, I know, I know that if they wave advantage, then the yellow card is wiped out. But. I mean, it should have been minimum have been a yellow card. Like, I don't know. I mean, obviously, var can't get involved. If it's a yellow card offense, but that's a red card offense. So I don't, I didn't even get feedback on my stream about them. For possible. No, no, they would have looked at it. Even because they check every goal. But I don't know because we don't get the var audio. We don't know what they discussed. About it. And I hope it's one of those ones. That gets looked at in the international break, because it's an unusual one. But it wasn't. It wasn't his first one. It happened earlier in, in the game. I think Jones was followed. Didn't give it. So, no, they're very starting the game. Douglas. Diogo Carlos. Brought down Darwin Nunes in the box. And he was all over it. I mean, he just threw into the ground. And I just looked at it and I said, no, yeah, you're not getting the penalty for that. Most of the guy is right back as well, didn't he? Yeah. Sala got dragged back a couple of times and just customary. He doesn't get those files. I mean, it's also cute. And it's the guy that didn't give a red for Pickford. And it's just the full circle. He's an awesome author. And the var is Paul Taney. So I'm not surprised at the absolute like basement level performance that was happening today. And that's me being very kind. I agree with you, though. It'd be an interesting one. I mean, how do you want to do is chat with Michael Owen. Because it could actually be part of that. You didn't give a foul because it's good. Maybe actually it is in the rules that that's not a red card. But you know what? Why don't you explain that? Well, actually, I don't forget anyone. I think we're up to you. We want an awful lot of football. Look, we've watched football for four years. I don't know. Yeah. I love it. I would have hoped that someone will explain that. Well, yeah, David Kootz and the joke of a referee. It's got some of the decisions that he made today were borderline insanity. I'll never understand why or who he's got photos of because how he's still on the Premier League panel is beyond the joke. Although in fairness, the one who was doing the game earlier on, the men's city Brighton game isn't much better. And he's only a new guy. He's got a long illustrious career ahead of him. Yeah. So, actually, Villa then have a penalty shout with Ollie Watkins, which the ref blows for gives lip of free kick. You see the replay? There is a little bit of contact, but not enough. I mean, it's an absolute Tom Daley level of a dive. It's a cracking dive. I thought I was in there. It's his hips. But then the bit that confused me was the free kick was given outside of the area when there was no offside signaled. Couldn't see a file anywhere. It's the only thing we saw was Ollie Watkins with us. So, he didn't get put for a dive. Doesn't indicate the dive and then gives a free kick from outside the area. We don't even know and nobody knows what it's for. I mean, what it sounds like to me is that they're making it up as they go along because that's kind of the only option that I can get for that series of events. If you're going to call a foul in the box after that scenario, you have to give him a yellow for a dive. It's either a penalty or it's a dive. Yeah. I don't know. There was contact. It was, it was just stronger. It's not a penalty. It's not a dive. All right, because he does not jim over. All right, but it's not, it's not a penalty either. It's just normal contact, you know, under under a challenge. If you're a vilifying your screaming blue murder, but how he concocts a free kick going the other way from outside the box. I don't know what it came. He was watching because that just didn't exist. It just didn't happen. There is no way in God's green earth that there was a foul on anyone for anything. I'll just go. Okay. Just don't know. It's just go. Yeah, I think it was go. Okay. I thought it should have been. Yeah. And then unfortunately, after that, the injury book hit Liverpool, you know, so, so we can now, we can out to the Arsenal. We've got 7,000 injuries that we can talk about. Is Trent a big enough player for people to actually recognize? No, it doesn't count. Well, it doesn't count. What's so far, Jota doesn't count. Allison doesn't count. Elliot doesn't count in case they don't count. They're all out, but they don't count. So Trent, and I think they should, I thought, sort of few things. I saw immediately later pictures. It's his right hamstring. He's holding. Yeah. They clarified that as well. Yeah. Now, the way he walked off and he wasn't like agony or, you know, it was a proper tear. So, I saw a thing on, so to me, there's a physio person. I follow, which is, Jota normally gives quite decent. If it's this injury, if it's this grade, it's this grade. So I'm saying, if it's like a grade, while it's two to four weeks, if it's the worst case, I was a grade two, it's six weeks. So, but it could have also just been, which Milner's very good at doing. Yeah. Getting hamstring tightness and going, like, almost sitting down, going, I'm sitting down for this ghost. And then you get treatment. The fact he's now got a two week gap. Hopefully worst case scenario, he misses just Southampton on his back. But thank God, we've got quite a back of him, Bradley, who I thought to be fair did a more reserved game today. He wasn't marauding like he knows it. It was more of a traditional, get behind the ball, get behind the ball and play it on right back. Yeah, more traditional right back. You know, playing the moments, basically, which is like, the game doesn't need me to be a remote remote, remote in my eye, I'll say that word. It's more of it. That's the word. Thank you. It's more of a traditional right back now. Just sit and just basically play the ball down the line and just keep, keep us solid, which you can understand because that is the side. What kind of likes to pull to? He likes to pull to the left and then go for things. So I actually thought he did really well. Ashley, they'll get another corner. You'll get another counter. Yes. He's going, cuts it through on his right foot. You think, and this could be too nil. And I think he hit the world. I just wrote down an underline should do better, which I think is kind of my motto for Darwin newest, newness for like 90% of the time. He could have had a hat tree today quite easily. And it wasn't like reaching for a hat trick. Like he was on goal with such presentable. I would love to know like what his expected goals were just for him today. But yeah, it was, he makes the hard things look really easy and the easy things look really, really hard. And it's just something that we're going to have to get used to. I do think that it's great that he's at least getting in the positions to have the attempt on target. That was not on target that specific time, but you get what I mean. Yeah, it's moving to getting into into the dangerous positions. It's just that little bit of coldness he needs. Yeah, you know, the Robbie powder pass. But you can hit it with power, because I mean, I'll be honest, the privately top goal scorer is Amashira. And I'll be honest, most of his goals were power, but they were power in corners. So you can't, you know, that's what he needs to sort of work on a little bit, which is a shame. Because actually, I thought his all round game was actually decent. Oh yeah, no, I think he actually did really well today. But he is going to be measuring that because he's a striker, but he's a striker and he's going to get measured on missing big chances. As Kevin, you may have done it, we've criticized Mo many times for missing similar chances. You know, so it's not a pick on Darwin thing, you know, we've criticized Diaz last year when he missed similar chances against Man City. You know, they have a chance to expect to take and you think that would have made life a little bit easier for us because after that, Bill, Bill had a good 15 minutes of corners and that guy from Cox quite good. Incredible saves reactions, brilliant positioning and brilliant saves. The first one was a great reaction save. The second one outstanding positioning. And the third room with his feet, it's just, it's instinct. And, you know, having just having missed the chance to go tune it up, if they get that back to one more and get into halftime and reorganize and reset. Massive difference in the game. It does say is we're absolutely huge. And to be fair, Bill will be kicking themselves for it because their game plan was to sit in soak up pressure, hit under counter set pieces, try to make something happen after that. But yeah, calories, brilliant saves. And again, his distribution from the back, always available to take the ball, take the pressure off. And towards the end of the game, coming in and claiming corners and eat taking pressure off the side again and just ending any hope that Bill ahead of making something back and making a last tip, five minutes. And a bar and stormer, he just comes and plucks the ball at the air like he's playing midfield for Clark and just cleans up everything. Unbeaten in his time and go for us since, since his comment. Done everything you could imagine, you know, then everything you can add, it's been asked of him. And it really, really annoys me when it's, you see the fees that were being offered for him in the summer. I know goalkeepers haven't been going for crazy money in recent years. But there hasn't been a better goalkeeper move anywhere in the last 12 months that's better than him. I think there's an argument that he's the informed keeper right now in the Premier League. Yes, he's about anyone. Yeah, he's the best goalkeeper in the Premier League at the moment. And I don't think he plays, I think when he leaves, if he goes next summer, I think he goes to Champions League club. And I think it'll be under countenance, and I think it'll be a big club. I think it'll be PSJ. I can see him replacing Donnaroom PSJ because they're sick to death of him. They want to get him out. I think he can play at the top top level for any club in Europe. I'm curious if the club is going to look at him in a different light after this Allison injury. I'm curious if they're going to see what happens when Allison comes back. See if this niggly thing becomes even more of a matter than it already is. I think there's an argument, and I hate to see it. I think there's an argument to keep Kelleher and Sal Allison. No, the only reason I'd let Kelleher go, and I'd look to me personally, I think both will go in the summer. All right, I think it'll be a clean slate of goalkeepers. But I think Kelleher, for the sake of his career, needs to be a number one somewhere. I would have a number one if he was to say, and this is obviously caveat. Allison is the best goalkeeper in the world. If he comes back, I have no problem with him staying whatsoever. Total caveat. So I'm probably not clipped up for that, but I need it. But if Allison cannot recover the way that we expect him to, I think we actually have a ready-made first choice keeper in Kelleher. And then we could have Mom and Darsh really come in and do the understudy thing for, you know, however long he needs to do. It's just a thought experiment. I'm not into it. But at this point in time, I just think that the way that he's playing, I would hate to see him walk out the door. And maybe, maybe we need to think about him as, I don't know. I mean, I guess he maybe is our most sellable asset right now. Yeah, I think he is. I mean, the other thing I would say is, after the Kelleher to save is... Grappen Birch doing what a number six should do, which is... Mop it up and do that. And before Trent wins off, we've got some mention. I think it's Rodgers. Dini does a great run, so Trent has to follow Dini going left. Cut aside, you think, right, he's got a clear shot on the goal and Grappen Birch comes out of nowhere, big blocks. And, you know, it's getting really good because, you know, you don't think he always gives us the interceptor, but he's getting better and better at those covering interceptions, you know, covering around the back post. I think there was only one probably where he let it go. In the second half, he thought probably shouldn't have let it go, but we got away with it. But other than that, you know, Grappen Birch again, you know, if we do buy another filter in January, even if it is number six. Got some competition there, because, you know, he's first name and team, she's at the moment with Van Dyke. Oh, easily. Hands down. He's been a revelation this season. I think we all knew that he was a good player, you know. He had all the attributes to be a good player. So I thought he could do a job in the six, but I'd never in my wildest dreams thought he'd be this good. And today, that instinct to get back in on the cover, because Trent was stopped in a rock and a hard place. You had Ramsey coming at you. If he calls him, he's doing his thing. Exactly. And it's not a difficult ball to put it in around Trent to find him for the cutback. So you're stopped between a rock and a hard place. He had to trust and Trent will have seen the picture in front of him as well. He'll have seen that Grappen Birch was coming. So it's like he knew that he could go. Go with the runner, because Grappen Birch, with his long leavers, was going to get there. And the bravery did to make the tackle and the accuracy to make the tackle outstanding. I mean, for some of his age, his value and importance to the team at the minute is right up there with anyone. You know, he's one of the most important players we have for the government. Yeah, exactly. But then on the other side, just right for half time, Robert has a great chance where he puts the ball across. And to be fair, I think it's Sanchez just gets it over the bar. Otherwise Darwin's got to tap it, hopefully tap it, you never know. But I thought we'd talk about Andy Robertson, because he had to deal with Bailey. We know he's quick and can cause problems. We know Robbo's had a few issues with a couple of weeks with Pacey players. Yeah, that's the best of seeing Robbo play this season. He was comfortable left back, still got forward and he's probably the more advanced of the two fullbacks. And it was nice to see, wasn't it, actually, that he just looked solid. He looked fresh, like he looked rested. I kind of almost think that might be the way forward with him is he's not going to be able to play two games in a week like we used to be able to do. But I think if you can rotate the two of them and really like utilize them strategically for the game like courses for courses. I think that you actually have a huge weapon there. I think he's still a very, very good defender. I think it's early for us to be writing them off completely. I think he's just a little bit older and needs a little bit more recovery time. Yeah, and remember, he's had nine years, eight years, a club. Yes. That level of drive and running, we'll take it out of you. So, there's also that a little bit, asked if life's in the chat. Could see in the chat, we haven't seen you for a little while. He's saying, "Lippo needs to be stopped." Well, you had to chance when you were two or up and you just decided to go full on defensive, which, you know, I mean, Arsenal need to win. Kevin, don't they, tomorrow, why is he up? 10-point gaps. That's a difficult turnaround that even this early in the season. 10-point is a big amount of the class. You can mark it off now. Arsenal are not catching us this season. Unless we implode. If things stay the way they are, Arsenal keep playing the way they play and we keep doing what we're doing. They're not catching us. No side at this stage of the season is tied back at 7-point. Yeah, Arsenal haven't managed to do that. Other sides have, but Arsenal have never overcome this level of gap. So, and I'll just look at Arsenal at the minute and look, they were screaming out in the summer for a second or four. Rightly so the fans were screaming out for a four-word for a striker. They badly need a striker. And the worst thing that could have possibly happened to them is that they spent money where they didn't need investment. They're trying, I agree with what people have been saying about Artetha trying to win it the José way. You know, try to, look at it, we can't compete with City by outscoring them, but we can be defensively solid. And try to win games with set pieces and be dominant in that respect. And that's fine, but that's not going to win. I had to stop on it forward. Exactly. They always had a striker who could get you out of trouble and they just don't. You know, when they're sent a forward is the guy who plays left back for Germany, then, you know, you've got a problem. I don't think he, but look, it's not our problem. I think he's touching, I think he's also touching, goes to play to her because that was a nasty cut and he goes there in the Interman game. Yeah, it was a hell of a, it's a hell of a whack. So, half-time, Ashley, we were having a chat, chat. The three of us, you know, how we felt about it, we were all quite relaxed. So I think we have a crisp chat to be honest that we were that relaxed. But, you know, we were quite content, we were thinking, that's okay. You know, I sort of felt if it was two ones was at half-time, that probably would have also been a pretty fair score, because I thought they had a couple of big chances, so did we. So I felt we deserved the lead, but you knew the second goal was vital. Yeah, we started the second half really comfortable and we didn't give them a big chance the first 30 seconds of a second half. That's not like us at all. I mean, in general, I was happy with where we were at half-time. There's a crazy stat that we're 144 games unbeaten when leading at half-time. And that goes all the way back to December, 2016. Bulb boy. Yes. Eddie Hoseborma. Yeah. And the horrible green case. And the horrible green case. And I was like, wow, that's kind of comforting. But I do feel like I went through a good chunk of that game just waiting for the second goal to go in and waiting for right. I didn't feel quite as comfortable in this game as we have in like the last few games, because we've chatted after games and been like, the most comfortable I've ever felt against XY or Z team. Today, I felt nervous. Yeah. I felt like we were controlling the ball really, really well. And obviously, if you have the ball, they can't score. But I just felt like, I don't know if we were conserving energy. I don't know if that was just the game plan to just keep it really controlled and just hold possession. But I just, I was willing that second goal to come just to get the nerves down because the nerves were there for me today. And that fast start from them at halftime did not help. Yeah. Kevin, was it doing you that every call that fucking set peace coaches? I'm getting them all. This is my type of hate. That's the thing now. I hate this thing. I'm going to go like, here's a set piece because I don't need to know little of the throwing code. I never want to see them. But you never saw them in the games. It's a throw in. Let's show them the goals of it. They never show set peace codes with the casino for. It's, you know, it's that they never show when the casino surely does both. It's, it's one of those. It's an import from the NFL, where you've got like special teams, coaches, what have you. And I remember years of a new castle trading when they employed Mark Lawrence and to be their defensive coordinator. And it's like, yeah, it didn't last long. It's, it's just. TV needs something to point at. It's something new. It's, I mean, apparently in the Brighton game. They interviewed the Brighton culture half time. It's like, stop. Is that permanent now? I know they were talking about introducing that. I don't know if we've started it officially. It's kind of like the club broke up. Nobody asked for it. Don't do it. Well, that's like a, it's a new rule that they have going for it. I don't know when it comes into play, but it means that either the head coach has to do an interview at half time. A player has to do an interview. Or there's some sort of behind the scenes bullshit that they're going to have. Yeah, they'll point to, yeah, they'll point to for now to keep the cameras out and dressing and that's a lot. Yeah, but that there's like three options and each team needs to choose one, which I am totally against, especially. Like, I know that this is sort of like an American thing they're trying to bring into sports over there. I am not in favor of it. No, absolutely not. I don't have heard yours. It's not a magnificent mane. It's a horrendous haircut. If you want to, you know, honestly, it's a horrendous haircut and it's not much better of a beard. So no one's from me. Just, I just don't get it. You know, and every club does it. Like, you're not into that one. They've stopped showing it because they keep conceding of them. Do you know what I mean? I mean, I bet your peps got one. We just don't know who he is. I'm sure Liverpool have got one. I just don't know who he is. I don't need to know. They all have it. They all have analysts. And it's just like, look, this is what is fashionable at the minute. And it'll go away. It always does. But the way we came out in the second half was literally a case of your fallbacks. The two fallbacks stayed back. They tried. It was funny, actually. Alexis McAllis just came back and tried to help be an option for grabbing bread. Because I think that was probably the one thing in the first half. We were trying to force the ball into midfield a little bit too much. And when it wasn't on, Virgil would go over the top tomorrow. They were different outboards. But this time, the second half was okay. Look, we're running it up. We don't have to go and chase the game. We'll try to draw. We had most of our success against villain in the first half by drawing them on and hitting them on the bread. So just carry that on. And that's kind of what it looked like. It was actually the longer it was going, I could just feel a mistake. There was a mistake in us. And it wasn't even a forced error trying to force a pass or under hit something. And with the players that Villa have in midfield, the former fielders, it was like they'll nick something and they'll get on the counter. It was, let's talk about Paul Torres because he was at a sense of a few attempts. We're going to take some free kick. Paul Torres goes down. That's for Vir. They showed the replay. Let's call as it is. Brad has got a good chunk of his shirt. Gives it a bit of a pull. Now, let's go. And Vir said it wasn't enough for a penalty. But actually, why take the rest? It's not a risk he needed to take. It's not a bit. That felt like panic because even if he'd got it, from there, the best he could do was flick it off. I mean, I don't think the ball was particularly close to him. I don't think the shirt gets him away with it, I think. And I don't think that the shirt hold was long enough. That was what they gave as an explanation for me. And that looks really different when they slow it down in slow motion. But that was the explanation they gave to me on my stream was that the shirt hold was not a long enough duration to have caused that level of falling down. Yeah, so it's just, I mean, you own players. It's the thing he's got to learn, but it just felt like a little bit of panic. They don't need that. You know, just think. Yeah, just like, yeah, you got to run on him. And he's instinct is to reach out and grab, but at the end of the day, kind of Bradley is about eight stone, three soaking wet. And how Torres is just like a sack of sports. You went looking for it, but it was, it, there was nothing natural about that. Let's put it that way. In fairness, if they started giving penalties for that. And if they did, it stopped it very quickly. No, you'd be giving them at every corner because of the amount of holding that's going on at corners. You'd have to give it. You'd have to be tried to be consistent. So you'd have to give it for holding in the box all the time. And they never do. Never do. So I think it has to be a case that the player would hold on and you can physically see the shirt like that. The pulled almost off the ball. In fairness, you could see that in this. Yeah. I just don't think it was that long. Yeah. But also, before he got took off, Robert puts a great ball into Darwin. Five yards out just in front of the near post. I'm sorry, Kev. For me, he's going to hit the target. I would expect my sense forward to hit that on target. Keep saying it. So be it. But I think that's a bad mess. That's it. That's the third in his hat trick opportunity. Of the two misses, I think that's the worst one. No, it's not even close to the worst one. The worst one when he's win one on one and he skies it all over the bar. That one would rob all the paces on the ball. He gets a good contact on the header and it goes wide by about a foot. You know, you get to, if anything, he gets too good a contact on it because it goes just on the other side of the bar and on the other side of the post. If that's any when you're on target, it's in because he rockets the header. It's just one of the, if he gets the contact right, it's in. If he doesn't, it goes wide. But the best bit about that for me, when you watch it, it's really good. Yeah, when you watch it back, watch the spin because he leaves the defender for dead. There's a little spin to get into the space. He gets a brilliant contact on it and it is really like a foot. It's not far wide at all. It's just, I just didn't look at that and see, that's just so lucky. You know, if he gets another. No, it's like it is. It's not even 10%. It's five percent. It's not either direction. He gets in great positions. The thing is for me, the second one, when he's wondering one, he doesn't need to leather it. All he's got to do is place that in the corner, slow himself down and place it in the corner or place it, go near post, but make a better choice. He doesn't need to leather the back off the ball, which is what he used to do last year when he was scratching for balls. And, you know, that one, because they'll come again when we'll get one glorious chance and it'll fall to him and we'll need him to take it. Do you know what I mean? Anyway, resident weirdo is in the chat. So he's just finished watching the game. We are quite good at this football stuff. Six wins, one draw from this run of games growth, which I seem to remember, Kev. Us three and Matt were all quite confident. We do quite well in this run and we were called delusional, I believe. We've got a cool view of things. Well, just by the chat. It seemed so good under pressure, though. I mean, look, the squad, we all know that this is the squad has been together for, you know, this is their second season, two different managers. So we know that they can handle pressure, but they're being asked to play and handle managed games in a different way. I mean, I mean, slot went moved away from this heavy metal football years ago, by the way. You know, he moved away from all of this. He went back to it at the end last season when he was going to overly attacking. But in general, you look at the possession stats for us last year, and we were playing most games with 60, 65, sometimes maybe upwards near 70% of possession. So we were a possession based team last season. It just feels to me that this season, we're still that same possession based side. We're more secure. You know, we're conscious. It's not risk averse. It's looking to pick the best chance, rather than, you know, not looking for any chance. There was a few things tonight. I mean, Darwin had a couple of two or three shots from outside the box. And I think he forced a couple of saves out of Martinez says you'd expect them to make. But there was two of them that if they clipped one of them could have clipped McAllister and gone the other way, you know, wrong footed the keeper. And the other one, you never know the keeper might spill it. You've got to take the shot to buy a ticket for the raffle and you never know you look. But the shots were on. So, and he forced, he forced the saves out of the keeper. Gackpaw is normally very good at it. Diaz cuts inside, gets his shots off. Salad not so much these days. He doesn't tend to get clean. When salad comes inside and takes a shot, it's more curlers are looking for corners. You know, at best he might get the odd corner out of it. But the others, when they hit it, the ball kind of stays hit. So you never know you could force a mistake out of a keeper that way. And there's always someone chasing that in as well. So, I mean, all in all. So we went out in the second half looking to, okay, draw them onto us and try to counter it. But no matter what happens, don't lose it. We're, we're one and up, safety. And it was. We were literally safety, safe on the ball, safe in possession. And just manage it as best we can. And that's what I felt like we were trying to do. And then on 65, we bring on Dom Sobbers live for Jones and Gackpaw for Darwin. So, Ashley got a wish in the chat, which is surely to see the Diaz number nine experiments again, which we've got to see. And I thought Jones was excellent. Again, I thought he played that more attacking role. And I thought he was very well involved. He loves that, Gina went out and spin. He's getting quite good at that. And I just thought his link play was really good, you know, and he's always been the late runner into the box. So I was pleased with him. And I'll be honest. Actually, I think within a couple minutes of gap recovery cuts inside. He nearly does his trademark and sure move. Yeah. And then it's the far corner, but you know, just got a bit too much in it. But it just looks like a man in confidence, which is what you want. Which is what you want. Yeah. I mean, we've got, we've got a few of our forward line. I mean, actually, all of our forward line are firing in the last two games, which I mean, we only have four of the six available and to have all four of them scoring. I don't think there's many teams in this league that have that luxury that have more than maybe two of their forward line just consistently scoring or in this kind of vein of form. And I think that, you know, in terms of what we have in our arsenal, like, it is such a powerful weapon to have these guys up front. Yeah, it is. It is, isn't it? So Kevin's very politely reminded me, I've got to do, I've got to happen and I've got to have the spot. I keep forgetting it. So I'm trying to find it because gap didn't submit the details. Football prizes, they've still got a deal on the moment. I think it ends on Tuesday, 3.95 ticket. I think it's about 100 tickets left. And I believe is it for hospitality care. Yeah, there's 20. I know I know there's some like 23 spot prizes. One of them is two tickets hospitality to the, is it a little game against. Yeah, yeah, I think it's a little, yeah. And there's a sign of framed shirt in there as well. There's lots of spot prizes in there, but the link for that one would be in the description and give it a go. I think if you guys do it, right, if let us know that you do it, but let us know if you win. You know, even if you win a spot prizes or something, just stick it in the chat on a show one night when, when we're on and just let us know how it goes. You know, it's brilliant that they do some great stuff. You know, they do have some, some really good offers and good deals. I've done, I've entered a few of them as well. I've not, I've not won yet, but I'll still keep at it. And the other thing as well is the two charities, the Lighthouse Cafe in Dublin and the fan sporting food banks in Liverpool, still trying to raise 10k. If you can donate, please do if not, please share it. The other thing as well, congratulations to Zoe's place in Liverpool. They managed to make that targets and well done to all involved and anyone who's contributed to that. Big applause, you know, that's a huge effort for the community. And it's one of those things is one thing you hope you'll never ever need it, because if you do need it, the last thing you've got to be thinking about is how to fund. How to fund. How to pay for her. You know, you'll just and have a service like that there for you never know when it could be you could be a friend. It could be anyone that, you know, around you, that having something like that is an amazing thing. And the fact that it's been saved. Great credit to people in the city. It is. Really good news. So, let's talk about the last goal, because this gave me Man City. This gave me Man City in 1920 vibes, which is all full. So, they have a free kick. Paul Torres goes down like he's been shot. Like someone's absolutely kneecapped him. I think he's one of the fastest I think he's going to get to 10. So, you know, I think if he doubles that again, I think he sets a new record. I think that'll be three seasons doing 20 goals, 20 assists. It's going to be the man's unreal. Then we have to always, because it's going to be there because we have to sit together to bring this back. And when you watch the replay. This episode is brought to you by AutoTrader. Look around. There was no contact on him whatsoever, he stepped on browsers. It was hope, but again, that showed the composure. That's why Slat will invariably try to keep Salah on the pitch as much as possible. Because again, Salah got a goal and a assist today, and I don't think he did anything special in the game than other than what you'd expect him to do. Take the goal and assist us out. He's played much better in other games this season and got nothing out of it. When the big chance comes, he makes that all by himself. Someone put it in the chat there a minute ago. That's the composure in front of the goal. Wait for the keeper to make the decision for you and bang in the near post, up and out the way. The keeper hasn't got a hole to save in that. That's it. That was an 84 minutes game set in match. That was it. You can sit back and relax and put your feet up and just enjoy the rest of the game. I love him too. I love him recreating that celebration because that was the one that he first created when he scored his 150th goal. And I feel like Mo knows when to use celebrations to kind of place landmarks in a season for our team. It's when the ship comes off. He has a very, almost artistic way of celebrating goal in a way that just kind of places a landmark and that felt like that today. And I don't know, like, if that felt like a moment, I think that we might look back on that. If things tend to go in our favor, even even before the season ends, I think we'll continue to look back on that is like a moment. Yeah, so let's just have a wider chat before we go. And then, well, actually before we go on and before I get actually to read all of her quotes out because I'm lazy like that and I'd like to give her all the credit for this. What do we think in the context this means because I can't help. It's hard not to get excited after the last two weeks. You know, city have now lost four in the bounce in all competitions. First time ever in his career, that's happened to Pep. Last time it happened to city Stuart Pierce was the manager, so whoever thought Stuart Pierce and Pep Guardiola would be in the same record. That's how rare it is. I know. So that's how rare this is, this little bit, this blip city. Now listen, it's hard for me to get too excited because city always have a blip round October November. But watching the game brightens second half like they did against Liverpool first half. It's like the reverse of the Liverpool game because first half they were non-existent, but they were like that second half against us. And listen, they took the goal. They took the goal really well. But actually, do you sort of feel like we could start getting excited yet? I think that it's one of those, like, I, I'm getting excited. I'm not getting over confident or carried away. I'm just getting excited about seeing this team click in a way that I wasn't expecting it to click so early. I said it the other night that this season feels like a bit of a free hit. It feels like all the pressure is on other teams to like live up to expectations. This year, I don't think anyone was expecting us to do this well. I think a lot of people were expecting us to be in and around the top four and maybe challenging in Europe because that's kind of the Liverpool way. But I think where we are now, we're just at a really nice advantage. It's a really nice, like, taking off point where if this team wants to take this opportunity and seize it, they have everything in their favor to do so right now. Yeah, very well said. So I'll let you do your... That is so much better at this than I am. No, go on. I would like to do the honest lesson impression. I cannot do an honest lesson impression. But he said post batch in general, we had control over the game and scored, which you wouldn't expect from all this possession from two counter attacks. Pressing the goal cake, we were up played a few times in my opinion. It was too easy. On the break, he said, I'll get some sun in Europe if there is any. On Darwin Nunes, he said that he's happy with him. I wonder what would have happened if he wasn't there. It felt to me like it was a foul on Salah, so that kind of goes back to what we were talking about with the red card. Talks a little bit more about time off that he's going to take in the international break. My children are in the last year of school in the upcoming weeks. They have exams. At first, I'm a father. I will help them. And he's talked about that a lot about using the international breaks for family time. So I think it's important for him. He goes on to say, all our attackers have great numbers, but most Salah stands out at the top. Kanate was interviewed post match. She said, I am very happy. I worked so hard to be the best in my position in the world. It will come one day for sure. Sorry, pretty close. So Kanate was asked about Nunes. He said, I'm very happy for him. He has to keep going and keep pushing and he will score many, I'm sure. Emory was interviewed post match and he talked about the Bradley Torres penalty incident. He said, with the var, it was the clear penalty because of the pull in the shirt. I know in Europe, it is the penalty. He continued to say, we knew before they were strong in transition with the players they have, but in 90 minutes, how we played, some players are getting better. I am confident today we can accept the result. McAllister was also interviewed post match. He was talking about grabbing birch. He said, Ryan is an amazing player. No one expected him to play that position. It's so easy to play with him. It's great to hear. He talked a little bit about Mosala. He said, he's amazing. We are so happy to have him with us. When you have Mosala, you know, we will deliver and get the numbers. McAllister continued. If you look at the last minute, Lucio did a run of 50 meters and defended the ball. That's what we want. Then lastly, Kanate on slot. He said, at the end of the season, we will see the impact he sat on us. There's more. Sorry. On the title race, he said, if you win, it mostly doesn't get better than that. We only focus on ourselves, a win against a very good team like Villa. On counters, he said, we did put an effort into preventing them from scoring. Set pieces was their main threat, which I think we all saw. He continued one or two times. We needed the goalkeeper. The counters were pure quality. And what the players come up with in these transitions, I might have just cut the quote off. I'm sure he said something really great after that. So, film length with your imagination. No, I'm sorry. Thank you for that, Ashley. You do all the hard work. You should take the credit for it. Right. Before we talk about tomorrow, Kev, man the match, an honorable mention. And if you have a who could do better, grand, but you might not have one. No, I don't. Kanate, for me, was man of the match, set up before we came on here. I thought he was brilliant. He's one-on-one defending. He's assured in the Sunday ball. I was really worried in the second half where it looked like he took a knock. I was so worried. Yeah, I just thought, please, no, please, no, no. I was hyper-analyzing his movement for like a minute and like, is he moving again? Yeah, like a child. Like a child. In either way, he loved it. Look who he was. Yeah, you and me both. You and me both. But now, I thought him and Virgil, given the pair that they're up against and in fairness, I think they were brilliant. But I look out just in Kanate's outstanding. He's already one of the best set in the league. And the sky is the limit for him. He's as good. He can be as good as he wants to be. Yeah, for sure. Honorable mention. Again, Kurt Jones, Kanate on the ball. Willing this to take it in tight positions and carry it up the pitch. You know, his interlink play is getting better. He's moving the ball faster. Again, he wins his battles and he wins his tackles when he's in that position as well, which is important if you're going to be supporting the forwards that you can try to do the counter press and win the ball back sometimes. But yeah, overall, I thought he's had a really good week, but look, we've read three whole games this week. Again, and I was just having a while we asked him was reading the quotes out. I was looking at the table and brightening her up into fourth night. That puts the results against brightening into a bit of context. The lost to nothing forest still looks like, you know, one of those games will see where what forests do, but they're flying. First, they backed it up to be first of all, they have backed it up. And yeah, I watched the Brighton game with Man City today in the second half. Brighton deservedly won that. It wasn't a case of where, you know, they've caught city cold on the counter and held down for dear life. They did boss that second half, and they saw it out for the last 40 minutes. You know, and we're, but last 15 minutes because somehow ref managed to invent nine minutes of injury time. But yeah, no, look, we're in a really good spot. Where is it? We're in as good a spot as you could possibly be. So hopefully the players that go on international duty. Go have a good, good few games, come back fit, come back healthy, and then we get into the Christmas room. Yeah, Andy saying Chris, Chris Gold needs to come back and answer for his crimes against curses. Yeah. I think it's a thing that Chris, doesn't it? I haven't seen the play. Curtis started playing well. Yeah. What do you like there? Actually, what you also kept nicked it. I mean, I think Ibo was, Ibo was probably the answer. There was a really great quote. People in the mouse and I were talking about it in the chat from the USA stream. Where it talked about Watkins not getting any joy from Iboo. So he should probably decide to go against Virgil for a little while because it might be easier. Which I think is a really great indicator of where Iboo is right now. And I also just really loved the crowd and the way that they clarified again on the USA stream. If it sounds like Annfield is booing, they're not. They're actually just say Iboo the entire time. So it was great. So it's nice to see him get the credit. I think if I was to give a man in the match, I know that Kev doesn't think that most of all played well, but I think when you're putting point on the board consistently, the way that he is like. I think that we're remiss a lot of times to not include him in these things because. I don't think we would be where we are without most. And I don't even think it'd be close. I think we have a fantastic. But he is the magic secret sauce that is getting us to the point that we're getting at. And. I want him to sign a contract. I think that he is doing no harm whatsoever, playing his way into a contract. And I think that's what he's doing. I genuinely think that between the interviews and between, you know, the performative celebrations and everything. I think he is basically saying. Come get me F.S.G. I am here and I am currently performing like the best player in the league. So. That would be my man in the match personally. I think my honorable mention is telling her because I genuinely think that. It is not being spoken about enough. How good he is and we're all top like. You know, he's not a second choice keeper. He is a first choice keeper for a top 10 team top six team. Possibly our team. And I think that the double save that he made was incredible. And again, I don't think we'd be where we are without him. I think between him and Mo on either side of the pitch. Like they are the ones that are keeping the points on the board. So those are my two. I mean, could do better. The only thing I'm annoyed about is the fact that McAllister didn't get his fifth yellow card. So I'm hoping to get rested. Not do a ramble camp in game because I want him to be able to play in the city game. So that's my only annoyance and he could have done better by just yanking someone down. Yeah. Well, my own revenge will will be McAllister because I think he's had a bit of a rough time recently. But I actually think that's the best I've seen him play for a little while. You know, I thought he was really controlled. I thought his mobility looked better. Just definitely bows and look good. I'll actually give it to Grafenburch. I feel like I feel like it's over every week. But I just felt he did some really big blocks at nil, nil and one nil when they were needed. And then he just was very composed in the balls. You know, I'm happy with Ibu getting it. You know, because Ibu was immense as was Mo. But I just felt we get to that point that we're grabbing Burch, which is bad. That's just what Graf does. He's 22 years old. That's insane. And it looks like he's been playing that role for a while. Like his ceiling is so high for 22. Like we're talking Morton age. He's like he's 28, but he's not. He's always, he's got this thing where he's, he's been around the scene for so long. You know, for probably five seasons where he's been known about whether it was an IX. He's moved to Bayern, moved to us. He's been around the houses. Like, you know, he's in there and it's been doing, we've all kind of. And he's been on all radar for a while, isn't it? Because he was linked with us. Yeah, he was, yeah, he was linked with us strongly before he went to Bayern. But we all know that technically he's a really good footballer first and foremost. But the fact that he's got this defensive now to his game, because that's what it is. It's a sense of danger that he must have really worked on. He must have really worked on with analysts to work out where he needs to be. He's positioning on the pitch to be able to cut passes out, to be able to be in the right position to make tackles. A sense danger to read what players want to do. Maybe having been a forward player. He knows what forward players are trying to do when they get wide. Looking for cutbacks, he knows the lanes to cut out. Yeah, he's been really, really good. Yeah. Do you know what I've actually think actually is? I think he's actually starting to enjoy defending. I actually think these last minute blocks and last minute exceptions. You start to get the feeling he's getting quite a buzz out of there. Of getting that last minute block in and getting that last minute interception and doing the cover away. I think he's actually starting to enjoy it. And I think when Roger was, when we also had Roger, he likes that. He likes that side of the game. That's why he's the best, because they enjoy it. And I think he's just realised. You're playing too. And having this responsibility put on his shoulders, because if you think about it, I think he's already this season probably played more than he has in the last two and a half years, probably combined. Easy, yeah. And I think he's been struggling to find his place in a couple of teams for years now. And having this responsibility and succeeding at it in the way that he has, I think he's taken it to it like a duck to water. Long may it continue because he is up there with the first names on the team sheet. Yeah. I think my biggest worry about what we signed in was he hasn't played. I don't think he even finished a 90 minute game for Bayern season before. And that was my biggest fear of signing him for $30 million. It wasn't as if we paid, you know, jump change for him. Pay good money for him. That was my biggest worry was can he pick up the gauntlet and play sustained amount of minutes. And I think last season was probably the best thing that could have happened to him was he was dropped in and out. He was used and he was used, didn't drop back out again. And I think he probably physically worked on himself to be to come back to be the player that we're starting to see now. Because physically he's got all the attributes to be one of the best DMS in more football. I mean he was less expensive than labia. Yeah. Oh yeah. We paid 40 million euros for him. I think Chelsea ended up paying 53 million pounds. 62 million euros in the bid. Okay. Yeah. So considering that and considering the market for sixes and how expensive they have been in the years past. I, you know, 40 million euros is obviously a large chunk of change. But looking back on it, it feels like a bargain. I was great. It feels like a bargain. Wait a minute. He's playing now. Superman is probably going to be when we tried to get him 60 million pound. Comes with a double grab and purchase money. You know, that's the level you lead to get a decent 60. So, you know. So just quickly looking over the league. So because I'm. Don't like myself. Well, I thought I'd put myself through West have evidence thinking there might be a bit of falling that game. I actually felt I actually fell asleep. It finished the old nil. They are two fucking dreadful sides. Oh, that's about both managers should be sacked. Just for being so dreadful that awful sides. What I should have done and I need to learn this. If in doubt, what's Brentford? What's Brentford? Yeah. It seems to be scoring like, I don't know. It's amazing. I can't go to the breath of the wind, but it also seems to be like it's five goals in every game with Brentford. Yeah. Oh, that's one three two. Palace looked like they're in a bit of a troubles losing at home to follow. They had injuries and they had a horrible red card. Yeah. You know, they were lucky to get away with that injury. Big wins for big with the walls. That's a proper six point. He needed that. He needed that. He was in trouble. Yeah, it was in trouble going into that one. That pulls walls now a point off. Yeah. I think there's another game up there. There's another one. Let me find it. I think it's on South Coast. Oh, right. That was quite good. That worked out in our favor. Okay. Right. Before we go on a quick round, Robin, you just give me predictions. United Leicester. You know, it's a win that's three one. Ash. Yeah. Unfortunately, I think I'll go to now. I think two one. This would be a good one, actually. Forest against Newcastle. If Forest win, they are one point behind Manchester City. I mean, they're on a run. I think Chris. I think Chris Wood keeps it up. I want one now to forest. I'm going to go to one forest. Yeah. To know for us, Chris Wood against his old side. Oh, yeah. Spurs. You would assume as to be a routine Spurs with. You would assume. You don't know. Spurs should have enough to win that comfortably, but. They made hard. You know, you just don't know what you're going to get with them. You know, and not in a good way. You should, but now I think Spurs got to say three one Spurs. Yeah, I had three one as well. Actually, what have you got? That sounds about right. I think I could see Ipswich going up early. Kind of feeling hopeful again. Like they tend to do and then just getting. But Spurs said it's because he did early as well. Yeah. And then I, you know, I think just second half, they just get. I've always gone seven six Spurs. I mean, I might watch that. I mean, it would be entertaining. Yeah. And then last one Chelsea against Arsenal. It sounds like Cole Palmer was a big doubt for Chelsea. And it sounds like Declan Rice might be a big doubt for Arsenal. The rumours that you might have broken his toe. Where has it been, Ted? At Chelsea. Chelsea. I haven't got any of the top six or traditional top six. Sorry. Yeah. I think Chelsea win that one to one. If Christopher and Kunku plays or Jal Felix will probably come in. To replace Corpama. Okay. I fancy Chelsea to win that one. I'm going to go to two. Which probably still doesn't help Arsenal to be fair. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know how serious the Cole Palmer injury was. I mean, when it first came out, it seemed like he was fine. Like, I mean, it seemed like he had like a day off from training. And then. Was this the water? He said something about him coming back into training, not a problem. Like it was, it was not that big of an issue on his leg. Was this after the Martinez hacking down? Yeah. After the challenge. But I don't think it was that serious. So I, I wouldn't be surprised to be pleased. If he does play, I think Chelsea win. I think that if he doesn't play, I could see a really like. Annoying hard fought. I think that's a really good thing. I think that's a really good thing. I think that's a really good thing. I think that's a really good thing. I think that's a really good thing. I think that's a really good thing. I think that's a really good thing. I think that's a really good thing. I think that's a really good thing. I think that's a really good thing. I think that's a really good thing. I think that's a really good thing. We are free, free to wear as well, I'd imagine. Yeah. So you could, you might see my happy face in the crowd. Probably not. But you never know. So kev, actually anything you want to say before we go? No, no. I'm all good. I mean, fantastic. Your rent's still marching on. Cool. So keep it out. Sunday will have fat back four with the guys. We'll go through all this and talk all about the weekend. I'd hope we'll be talking about an artist in meltdown. But more importantly, live full of top of the league and fuck. Yeah, I'm not. So, but live full of top of the league. Five point square. I'll say that one more time. Live full of top of the league. Five point square. Take care. Speak soon. This podcast is part of the Sports Social Podcast Network. [BLANK_AUDIO]
