You know our deaths of evidence because we got to be careful Could you never know who's watching and so and you got to be careful how you speak and how you say things? You know, so yeah, there's a lot of watchful eyes out there. Yeah, and you can't just never be sure What's what so let's look at this this spot size double-edged sword like being in the spotlight Some days are smooth like that's why we say And some days are rough of rough, you know, and and many people are making a living out of the rough side Yeah, excuse me out of the right side of People got your paparazzi Look at how dad Princess Diana died. Yes, you know, it was through that paparazzi And that's why I constantly applaud Prince Harry for just pulling his family out of that mess Because his wife was second in line with Diana, you know, she could have just Received the same destiny as Diana because they were after and through after that woman So just pulling his wife out of that mess British mess I feel like he did the right thing because he's seeing how his mother had to go through all that But the question is it's um, how do we balance this how how Once you've gotten to be famous or you or you you you get a video that go viral or even you're trying to still trying to Calm down, you know, and become somebody and it finally happens How do we overcome the pitfalls that come with being an under constant scrutiny? Well one pit force if you do anything that's negative or whatever Be quick to apologize with a heartfelt apology and sometimes to sometimes you got to be like how to be quiet for a minute Get out the way, you know sometimes you kiss it. Yeah, let me ask about the apology Do you really believe this up because it's PR? Yeah, someone's PR. Yeah, you know, you could have a say heart fell Sometimes these things happened like years ago and and you don't see anything wrong now that it blows up because anything can be pulled Yes, yes. Yes anything now. You're like, oh, I sincerely apologize. I understand that my actions bla bla bla bla bla bla bla It's PR. Yeah, yeah, so when you did it you did it So I think one a lot of time you got it you got to probably how to sit back and reflect and Staying under the radar for a minute. Don't you know let everything blow over then again if you don't apologize people going to say Oh, you know, yeah, and then and then you come you probably don't apologize You probably have to use your platform to educate You know use your platform as a bullet indicate when we still hanging over what you said and you didn't give us an apology We don't forget we want that apology even though it's not going to be sincere and even if you put it We're gonna say but it wasn't sincere enough Yeah, well you have to reflect you made me have to wait a minute let it down. So this is why you want to have a vision so that you ate a map about What how like how much do I need to accomplish my vision because if you don't need a billion Also, you know to complete your your vision, you know, you're able to focus on the things and now you you don't have to do things to complete the vision You know you're able to accomplish a vision because what and so we being on vision vision knowing where you want to go What you want to do so that you can begin to count up the course so you can get in the map about a player how to get there So that you can stay true to the course yeah, so um Just staying true to your to your unique vision because you touched on vision And ignoring pressures or conforming the bible reminds us that that's not conformed to the Yeah to this world, but we detranform body renewing of your mind Because if we conform then of course we're gonna have to do things that Will be against our principles and morals Because most of the things that we like we said out there you you so in most cases I'm not saying in all cases in most cases when you're up there, you're gonna have to step on certain toes You're gonna have to push down certain people in order for you to climb if you do it the wrong way Exactly. Well, the the fast way the fast way Yes, but if you if you go if you have a vision know a plan and you stick it to it And you just this is why we say big by brick by brick because if you if you go off slowly It might take a little time and Well, we say wrong was it built in the day? It might take time to get there but eventually you will get there And so and guess what and by you going like you you focus on your vision and not on and not getting distracted on what's going on around you And not getting and not allowing to to be conformed to the to this world You know like the fast money the cars the houses the all the different things They tell you the oh do this and you'll get this you know, let me tell you okay. Yeah, this is just for you And that's what we see is that let us be careful of this popcorn or this microfist success because insta gratification because exactly because we we we we we don't become legacy um Legacy builders creators. Yeah, it's only for selfish gain You know, the fact that you're sacrificing people in your family just because you want their star And just because you might don't want to struggle no more for that time period And if it's not a struggle, then this is it worth it because like I said anything worth having there's gonna be struggle There's gonna be pain or everyone that that you know a lot of business people that made it They had a lot of struggle. You know, he could probably could have easy Probably accept the money or whatever and or probably there but no my name believe him So just a while when you have a vision you just keep building and just keep going and just keep going and eventually If you keep doing the right way before you know it one day you're gonna hit that You're gonna hit the right spot. You know they got something on you, but also I mean him paying the person off That was just a red flag. Everybody saw that. Oh, he's guilty. Yeah, he can't deny it. All he wants Why would I pay somebody off when I know that it's not the truth? You know, and that's what gave the rest of the people Ammunition to come out and say hey if he is they get such a nice settlement I want that money to because I was also I want, you know, assaulted by this person. I also went through Um a lot of sh it with this person. So listen If you want to give him money, you gotta get me right and now we sing the dances camad We sing collaborators We sing People just coming out of the woodwork and claiming that he did it to me. It's like a whole Did he me to movement all over again? Did he me to movement? I'm telling you we should just hashtag. Did he me to movement? No, no, there's a thing right now. I said, no, did he No, did he telling you so how can we learn from duty situations or besides just jokes and everything? I'm just saying how can we What can we what's the take away? What's the lessons learned from that because I like when things like this happen? I like to learn from you. Yes, me too. Yes. Yeah, that's and that's one of them. I like him Because people already know it's all over social media, but what can we learn Because that's what we're about with the podcast. We're like educating. Yeah, it does it we given him a reason to tear us down even more And this could be a black hole on on the on the black race on black culture You know, because like I said, he was one individual that was one a billionaire You know, that could have done a lot for black people But instead he threw free parties And when I look at him and then you know that these parties are apparent to a cold freak posh I know. Yeah, and then that's the thing. They said they were the party, but they was also a party inside the party The match a party, you know, so they gotta be careful in a match a party. And if you called into those vivi They got three they got different doors and you go one door to go just one thing and Money a lot of money can be a curse. Honestly, it can be because now you have this so much money You just don't know what to do with it. You end up doing crazy things Yeah, instead of being a philanthropist and helping people who are less off, you know And who just need Yeah, who do but what I want to think about I'm, you know, like we're getting in there bill Cosby another one, you know So these things, you know, and the support is always sexual, right? Yes. I know, right? Even these pastors in Africa. It's it has something to do with two times Who guns? Instruments Instruments, yes Always or drugs But Could drugs go hand in hand with better instruments? Yes Drug them up, you know, so it's just sad As a black yes and black people so we we got it's you know as we we force assess we for grumb We for growth we for building we for climbing the ladder, you know, but door thing is the right way Even like we're like the interview that we done with the young lady, you know, that's the um the address Where she climbed around and she said, yeah, she could have did a lot of things But she chose not to you know, it took a little longer and that's what we're gonna happen When you're doing things the right way it might take a little longer because you Eventually those doors will yeah, I bet you don't throw us on the open But but guess what because you've done things the right way and it might took it a little longer to get there But guess what when you get there, you're like, man, you feel so relieved Because I didn't have to do that and you can sit up and say to test them if we're real Yeah, like all these people say, oh god. Just Yeah, yeah, yeah, you know what's called a couch interview No Yeah, the couch interview Yeah, the bedroom interview, okay, you know where you don't have to even open up your mouth You have to open up your legs So most people get up the ladder that way. Yes. Most people get up the ladder that way. Yes That's not the same most. Let's just say some some because I think it's a handful of people And majority of the people really walk their way You know, so How do we what what are we learning besides keeping your slate clean? Just just two things with integrity staying true to yourself be real be a dentist Yes, and remember your time it will come Yes, the time it yes don't rest the process. Yeah, but we always say you sell your soul Yes, we say put the process on the pedestal You know because eventually you will get there if you build, you know, do things the right way And I look at with myself, you know Going back to school learning because you know last time when you when you Know how to do different than you know how to move you not a shake and things like that you so, you know You know, you know how to do things the right way. You know how to get endorsements the right way You know how to get grads the right way Why because you educate it you have the knowledge to do it So you don't have to depend on nobody else to show you the ropes or the game because you do have a base Understanding this is why we like education This is why we like learning and developing yourself and reading books and doing things like that So that you know, so that you know, you have a base understanding because when you when you don't know They said you pay figures, right? You pay figures, right? And when you don't know how to do things then guess what now you're gonna depend on something and now you're in their hands Whatever they take you to do. Oh, because they know oh you want this you you want this you're gonna have to do this for me And so that's what we're saying. Yeah so um Yeah, like let's just be careful how we We we we we we climb our ladders, you know, yes, sometimes you look at your age and you think Will I ever get there? Will I ever make it? The truth of the matter is yes, you can yes you can just be patient with the process trust the process trust your god That he will take you to the next if he'll bring destiny helpers your way and before you know it You will ask yourself. How did I how did I get there? But guess what you can always testify and say god did it god did it because you did not compromise You know most people who come and testify and say oh god bless me Meanwhile, they know that they had a bedroom a bedroom experience interview But those who they are conscious will never be clear men do it to What? Yeah, no one say this like with with the thing they say, you know man was going to With the daily situations like the daily situation which was men on men Men on men, yeah And that thing crushes your soul when you're really not into it You know because now you've been forced you've been told if you don't do this Then you're not going to join the club and you're looking at this call if you want to million hours You got it, you know, right and you're looking at this like, you know what? It won't hurt. It's just once. Yeah And the sad part is that the just once is never just once in the darker side of things You will always be paying like I said earlier the debt never stops You know as the enemy wants you down and out Then he doesn't want to see you Shining and that's why did he's coming down now because you'll not always be in the pedestal You will find a way to bring you down. Okay. He enjoyed all these days Oh, we were dancing to his music and everything. I can just hear it in my ears right now Okay Can't hold me down But but the thing is that they say money power respect or another one, you know more money more promise So the more money you have the more problems can have so that's what you got to be careful with that too And they say so Isn't the song so the thing is as you go higher there's going to be more problems, you know More challenges Elevation comes with its challenges, but you have to be prepared for that That's why we should not do shortcuts because the shortcuts avoid they they prevent us from learning How to handle the next level. Yes. So when we we suppress certain steps We we we we we were in step one and we want to go to step 10 The lessons that we'll learn from step two to step nine. You've missed them. You missed them Yeah, now when you get to step 10 without learning Step two and step nine then it's easy for you to fall because you don't know how to handle it. Yes, yes So he as hard as it is and it made look right now in your life But just think of the fact that whenever you're going through a trial and tribulation and hard times It's your learning journey. It's it's that's how you get prepared for the next level Because every level have its own demons. Yes, it's own challenges But if you don't know how to overcome the challenges previously How will you overcome the the the challenges of the next level? You know That's why there's the testing that happens as well. Yes. Yes And the beautiful thing that if it comes for God, he's already waded that oh says I cannot handle This is too heavy for her right now. Mm-hmm. Let me try and teach her and and and shape her Yes. Yes, and and and build her so that he's able to when this comes because it won't come at that level He's able to know how to handle And that's why you know what you don't want to inspire small beginnings, you know So it's very important because you know, it's not rush to be the TDJ of this one because I Another one another one another one another one Another one But but here's the thing but that's why I said don't despise small beginnings because like I love it because we quote the script in multiple times It was good that I was afflicted so I was so I can learn So if you skip in your affliction you skip it steps You skip into afflictions to learn something that you that's for the nest for the nest battle Because like you say for each battle there's there's a higher devil So if you skip devil one and you went to double two double ten You missed two three four five six seven Now it's gonna be overwhelming for you It's a mom like what because you named you didn't defeat You didn't defeat your lion. You didn't defeat your bear. You didn't defeat your your willing you didn't defeat none of this stuff So when Goliath come to you How you gonna when you when the job and You dare me when the job and When solve your own friend trying to destroy you How do you gonna handle these things because you you trying to skip all that? Just you try to use try to skip the line. Oh, man I can I can skip this one because I want I like that over there. So let me skip this but that part is teach you Something to get to the nest part. I told you before each bridge Each bridge is taking you to the nest bridge Each opportunity is taking you to the nest opportunity and so if we skip steps We miss an opportunity to learn We miss it and this is why I love the masterminds. Mmm Right, it's like drinking salt water, right? Like you'll you'll just you'll never get enough You're just going to make yourself more and more thirsty, you know, I'm in that that phase of my life um that can actually be scary when you realize that no relationship That no money that no kids know that like there's literally Nothing that can make you happy That happy is an internal Full frontal contact With your dark night of the soul You've reconciled that you got to make happy in here You got to make happy in here With none of that stuff Then you got to take happy to the people you love you can't try to get it from them You know, yeah, and it's like you got to take happy to work. You you're not going to get happy from work Take happy to work. Yes You know that that those are powerful lines um where he's talking about you know how material success does not equate to happiness and fulfillment. Mm-hmm. Um, I'm back to differ Because I read the comment section the comment section is popping in that video And then we're talking about okay, these wealthy people they're the first people to save us You know, let me change the money first then I can say it too It makes sense. Yes money cannot buy happiness No, it cannot buy happiness. It can't buy for it can't buy happiness. It cannot buy contentment But happiness like you can have so much money like he's saying is at a point where he Is able to buy whatever he wants. Yes, whatever you want, you know, and he's now realized that you know He's still not happy for feel. He's still not fulfilled self-actualizations Is completely fulfilled because he's realized that with all the material things that he has the wife the kids or and just the material things the Properties the cars the bank bank balance. You name it he's still Not satisfied. There's still that's something that's missing And and and hence that's why most successful people do philanthropic work where they're able to give back to less people and most of them. That's how they get the satisfaction, right? So I'm saying that he's Accurate in his way Because he's tasted that life. He's tasted the money But I'm saying I don't 100% agree with that because I still feel that I rather struggle In a mansion. Mm-hmm, you know have that mental breakdown in my mansion instead of having the mental breakdown in a shack Yes, that's just me because money does solve a lot of problem. It's so a lot of problems It makes a lot of things easy. Yes. Yes, because you make most things they need Money yes now, but here's the thing though. You're right amazing either, but that means it's going to make you happy Yeah, it's because it is it's still internal work. It's still it's still which still your happiness starts from from the inside That's why you find even some people who are poor who are still very happy. Yes. You're right. Yeah And that's how you handle it. Yeah, so you got you got people that don't have it and live in a happy like why because they have it on the inside It's it's whipped in you got it It's how how do you make you feel how do you feel on the inside and to me as a Christian? The the best happiness of fulfillment is when you're in Christ When you why do you when you can have all the wolf in the world? But if you have no Christ and it's those that wealth doesn't mean anything. Yeah, that's how we see it That's how we say as Christians, you know, you can have all the money in the world But you're not for if you're not in Christ, then you're not complete. You're still missing a voice That's why I'm saying he's not 100 correct because probably if he gets Jesus things. Yeah, it might change. Yes. Yeah, it might be You're right. Yeah, yeah, yeah Yeah, if he had Jesus on the inside. Yeah, he'd probably be with the money But now what's gonna hammer us now the Lord gonna show him what he could do with the money Them to fulfill to get that fulfillment and so another thing too Right and what he need to do is he need to find that suffering. What's what's his purpose? What's his reason for living? Okay, you find like okay, you got that you got this you got this you got this Okay, now you need to like realize Why is your purpose? Why are you here and then go fulfill that because now what you realize and you start because I know my purpose I love and can impact the people. That's why I want to build on school. I love that. So I give great joy When I see young people doing great and doing good. I get great Satisfaction so when I see a young person when I'm encouraging young people Or when I'm encouraging anyone even the children's or people and that's opportunity window I get great satisfaction become like yo, they are growing they are doing something. So yeah, that gives them a great joy but so if you Don't have having another fulfillment one this is Could be an imitation if you don't know Christ, definitely get questions in your life And another one is find your purpose Get a strong vision get a wide have a dream of what you want to accomplish in your life And you will be fulfilled but the thing is what will Smith is already achieved that. Yeah He's probably my purpose. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, he's reached the pinnacle of his office career But he still says that even with all that maybe that wasn't maybe that wasn't had true happiness or true purpose People can have multiple. Yeah, that's your kid. Oh, I get changed He did he he flipped he completed one purpose one and and Entertaining people he enjoyed it. He liked doing it. And now he had another level where so you got it This is the thing you got to find. Oh, yeah, you hear the bad boys is coming back. Oh, yeah bad boy I'm so excited Where they come for you Moving on. So the thing is in a journey. We must really embark. Yes into making sure that all this All this clutter Yes, we do it. It's it's it's a sign. It's a soul. Yes It's it's the inner work Yes, it's an inner work. It's an inner work. Yeah, go to therapy to find that to find that that content Yeah, so you got it But that was that was powerful though because when you're gonna realize, you know, okay, and this is what I said earlier What do you know in your vision? What do you need to get to to accomplish your vision? What do you need? What what do you need to submit to survive and to live how much it costs you? You know when you understand how much it costs you even like, you know today today and you can start like Do a right get a pen and pad you calculate how much you how much it costs you to live today And how much do it cost you to live 10 years for that? Now how do you want to live but you can get a basic understand a basic concept, okay? Oh Of the prices today and then you maybe had the times about two about three because you don't know about Reflection so you 50 at this rate so you can turn so you can you can look at the prices today and it just times about two Starting about two so if you want to be if you want to be in that 10,000 out of home, you said, okay 10 years for now might be 15 thousand down at home. Yeah Yeah, money more Money more than 10,000 out of August so you want to be in that 10,000 out of August, right? So okay 10 years for now. It might be like 20,000 a month. So you're you so you you don't want to call the cost analysis You're doing the cost analysis Uh, where do you want to be until you so that you could be versed in the near and you're a worker towards it? You know if even if you got a you know a lot of times you have you had the budget You had to you know live below your means because again, you know You don't need To make a million out to be happy You can you can make $50,000 and still live within your means No way and be happy, but I'm saying But I'm not gonna agree with But no, no, but you can't make You can't make a hundred thousand dollars and still be happy though But here's the thing too I think to to live comfortably I think it also depends where you are great. You are to live comfortably $300,000 might be good In in so they're comfortable depending where you are No, you're in New York You might need 500,000 But 300 but you don't come to me to still enjoy life do some things you know 300,000 might be good, but it depends what you want and how do you want? That's why you say, you know, you got to have a vision But why are you building your vision and why your community goes? You want to stay two years true to yourself stay authentic? Be real let people know your real your true self and who you are and things like that So so that when you when you make a mistake, you know, because we are we need the one else's perfect They can give you grace and that's what it's about. It's about giving All need grace whether you Little bad because we humans we're human. Yeah, you know, so we don't have mishaps Even pitting we got to learn how to give him grace But still we got to give him great. Yeah, you know, he's I look at he's a brother. So, you know, he made some mistakes. So I think we got the law take its course That's more ethical elevation. Yes, it's it's more important today in crafting a blueprint for achieving success without compromising your values and integrity Why is that because social media and AI and and and Is watching, you know, so right now Your mere mishap can can catch fire very Yeah So how can we as chaplain chillers now preserve our essence in an industry? Often criticized for the lack of moral campus because we know we have a lot of younger brothers and sisters Who's true look up to these people and hence that is why we have a growing number of social Influences now these kids want to be influenced Want to have a career why because they've seen that you can go to school for 15 years Yeah, and still be broke and still be broke and I give me an influencer For two months for two months and a million Yeah, enough of these and not knowing that it even being an influencer. It's not like overnight success And another get that overnight. I'm not a day two even if you get it if you don't have a blueprint If you don't know it's like you said, can you skip steps because you didn't want to get the career and you don't want to get the Education you don't have to nowadays, but still but you got boot camps. You got training You don't have to what do do all that do all what the boot camps and the trainings You can be and because it's really by yes, but sometimes it's just by chance. Yes, but you're not getting but here's the thing You're getting that you just said you become an influencer and you have the success because you skip steps You don't know how to do certain things. And guess what you could lose it too Right because why you don't know what's the next part remember? I remember I told you like Then one of the main main reason why is people Fell and businesses is not because they weren't there. They had no money It's because they wasn't busy savvy and you're not business savvy. Yes, the influence is a business And so if you don't understand business, you're gonna if What happened when you get the success you get the the main out of contract, but if you don't know how to sign You don't know nothing about contracts. That's why it's important. You don't know how to you're not a distributor whatever And that's why it's important to Ensure that you align with the right people. Yes as you climb up as you climb up. Yeah, right people That that will show you integrity that will tell you we don't move like that here because if you Trying to move in a certain way with the clean slate Then you if you hang out at the wrong crowd, guess what you might end up doing what the wrong crowd is doing Yes birds of the same Slough the feather flat together That's of the same flaw the same feathers flocked flat together. Yeah yeah, yeah, so Giving back could be another thing that people could do and I think we touched on that already That use your platform to do good, you know, so spread positiveness Like you said so that people can be graceful to you should something happen. They say hey He's done so much good. Why are you looking at only the bad? I don't think of one thing that did it really did I've never heard of any charity things that is that maybe he doesn't publicize them or maybe because I don't follow him like that but It makes you question Okay, remain authentic to yourself and and to the course that you're doing that's transparent Transparency is key because If you're trying to be somebody If you want to be so chaplain chillers, that's a wrap. That's a wrap on today. Yes. Yes. We're chilling with the chaplains We hope that you found that inspirational and valuable and um and you now can just move gracefully in your path to success and um By crossing all the down there we are and cross everything Yes and staying true to what matters the most or should be Or should be um Crosses everything in the down there we are I just went along with what he said In the opposite cross everything and down there we are Yeah, because you crossed it. Yes, and do you doubt that uh So remember it's not just about your destination, but it's the integrity of that journey Yes, because there's no point in you being successful and then you're living dirty footprints You know living a bad smile behind you. You want to get to success and we envy and we say would love to be like scissor We'd love to be like ulena would love to be like um Whatever your name is and but at least we know that you your journey Is your journey Besides being your journey It's it's it's a it can be a blueprint You can't have a blueprint of somebody who's dug into dirt.
