>> Meanwhile, as veterans strive for services all around our country, he had particularly here in Michigan, Patrick Murphy is a former congressman and former Undersecretary with U.S. Army, and he's with Face the Fight East on their honorary committee chair, and he joins me here this afternoon. Pat, it's good to have you. >> Hey, thank you so much for having me. It's great to be here, especially with many veterans there. >> Hey, tell me a little bit about the organization and how you serve veterans. >> Sure. Well, first off, I, you know, 20 years ago I was in fact that I'm not with the E and Eastern Airport Division, and ever since 9/11 happened, we've lost over 125,000 of my brothers as a veteran to suicide. There's a whole lot more we can do, and yes, there's a national hotline number 988, but Face the Fight is a private sector-led effort to make sure we educate folks that you can make a difference, that there is help out there, and that we need to get evidence-based practices out in the hands of providers and to our brothers to veterans to continue default to the cracks. We did find this ethic, leave no behind, and that's what Face the Fight is trying to do. >> So how do people tap into those resources? >> Well, one, you can sign up and find out more about it. We Face the Fight dot org, sign up, you get your company to sign up, and part of that is articulating the folks, you know, the issues out there, letting them know that there is help. And so some of that information is out there on the website, but also, you know, if, of course, if there's ever a veteran in need, they can call the national veteran hotline, the national sign hotline, which is 988, but more importantly, you know, trying to break down that stigma of your mental health is just as important as your physical health. And so, you know, we got to make sure we're changing this stigma that, you know, just if you ask your brother, hey, man, do you get it done today? She'll work out, yep, went to the gym, blah, blah. You know, you should go to counseling, you know, once a quarter. Again, before you need that, take the help. >> Yeah. Well, thank you for your service, and thank you for the service you continue to do. Patrick Murphy, thank you for your time and best of luck going forward. >> God bless you, Chris. Thank you so much, man, everyone. >> You do the same. That is Patrick Murphy with Face the Fight, who is the honorary chair of that committee. All right, we'll take a break. We'll talk to the visionary here at People of Impact at Freedom, like Laura Herphy joins me next year on J Air afternoon.
