But before we get to any of our interviews, let's jump right into these headlines and change the way you consume your news. This is not nom. This is bowling. They're a rule. T-T-A, Jr. America! If you're a long time listener, welcome back to America's fastest growing. And quickly becoming favorite political podcast. On a busy news Friday, here in America, Noah, how's everything going? Not too bad, you know. Things are looking pretty good. Weather's a little shitty today, but I'll take it. Yeah, I guess we're getting water. We're getting a cold snap. That's a fire. Cold snap for the next five days. It looks like it's going to be really windy and really cold. It's so weird that, you know, two weekends ago, it was in the 80s and I was wearing shorts and now it's like sweatpants, jeans weather with a double hoodie. Yeah, I woke up to the literal howling wind this morning. It was actually kind of nice. Yeah, I actually like the sweater. I mean, I'd rather put on a sweatshirt than not have to. What was it? I'd rather shiver than sweat. That's the way I kind of look at it, especially when I got the fireplace going right now. Yeah, it's definitely that season. Did you see the five alarm fire that they had going on this week when Donald Trump and Joe Biden met in the White House? Oh, my gosh. How cheerful did old Biden look? Didn't it look like they just threw like eight or nine starter logs in a pile and just lit them on fire? Yes, nobody was doing kindling on that one. It was just ready to light. A lot of the bag here and here and light. A lot of people are comparing that to the end of Kamala Harris's political career. Yes, a bundle of burning sticks. Oh man, do you think Joe put the MAGA hat on once they went behind closed doors? I would really like to have been a fly on the wall for that entire interaction. Like, I don't think it was awkward. I think it was just like, I guarantee that one point Joe Biden probably said, well, she did this to herself. I would be willing to put probably $1,000 that that verbatim quote came out of his mouth. Yup, she did this to herself. It was so interesting to see the... Maybe fuck that bitch. Sitting president of the United States welcome Hitler in. Oh, I know. And actually shake hands with them, which I think was eye opening for a lot of people, especially those still coping and seething following the results of last Tuesday's election. I heard they actually put Hitler's canoe in the water at the White House pool and they took a lap. Was Big Mike given a breaststroke lessons? Yeah. Oh man, no, it was a wild week. It was a busy week and as Donald Trump continues to assemble his cabinet, listen, we're going to be taking a hard look at all this stuff going on within the soon-to-be-formulated administration over the course of the next couple episodes. We're also going to look at his triumphant return to Washington, D.C., which we just kind of touched on. It was a whirlwind day, one that started with Donald Trump leaving South Florida at 4 o'clock in the morning and by 2 a.m. the next day was singing "God Bless America" with Chris Machio and Elon Musk on a stage at Mar-a-Lago. So that's how much of a day Donald Trump had in addition to filling in some time to meet with House Republicans, which we'll also tap. In continuing to look at some of the hires that are coming into the administration right now, Tulsi Gabbard, Matt Gaetz, RFK Jr., and Doug Burgum have all been also tapped as well this week. And we'll take a look at some of those hires and how the media is reacting. Some of the angles we're taking on how to get these people confirmed and into the administration. And we'll be ending out the show talking about just that with the newly appointed member of the Republican Senate Majority, John Thune, South Dakota Governor there. Listen, nobody wanted it, but we told you to prepare for it. Every single person I've asked from a staffer to a congressman to a senator over the course of the last week and a half had pretty much said, "We all want XYZ, but just start getting ready to be comfortable with saying Senate Majority Leader Thune." Rick Scott made a great plea to the American people out on and through the media over the course leading up to the vote, but he was out in the first round. John Cornyn actually received more votes who apparently was going to get none going into this thing. So once he was out, everybody kind of migrated over to Senator Thune. And from what he's at least saying after picking up the role as Senate Majority Leader, he's saying the right things. Because Donald Trump didn't weigh in in a negative fashion either and actually put out a positive post about it following the secret vote and the announcement of Senator Thune becoming Majority Leader, I think, again, like we've been telling you, in November of 2022, Donald Trump wiped the loyalty slate clean and it continued to be wiped for people who came in and around the campaign leading up to this election. He has no reason to change his view on that unless they display behavior with suggests otherwise. So we'll kind of leave it at that. When you said Chris Macho earlier, I was like the guy from the karate kid, none of that's Ralph Macho. Right, who also has a baby face, almost like Italian-American opera sensation, Christopher Macho as well. And then the guest list today, listen, can't talk about it enough, but we're going to talk about it a lot. You'll see him on Fox News this afternoon, but I can rest assured our listenership that he was here first. And it's pretty funny. Before we started recording, we were having a little bit of a formal chit chat and I said, "I've never interviewed a czar before. Like, I could call someone Madam Chairwoman or Congressman or Senator. Like, do I introduce you as like your excellency?" And he started laughing and he's like, "Don't you fucking call me that." I'm talking about- What is the preferred nomenclature, like your czar-dness? Yeah, we're going to have to figure it out and figure it out soon here. But our thanos, Tom Holman, will be here. And for what was scheduled as a 10-minute hit, he nearly went 30 and got into every single question that everybody is asking. What will his role be? How will we begin to set up the infrastructure for the deportation operation? The largest one that this world has ever known. What are the collaborative efforts with now incoming DHS Secretary, Christy Noem, going to look like? And how is their relationship going to flourish over the course of the next four years? How is Tom Holman looking at things legislatively moving forward? Is he looking to, you know, find ways to reduce or eliminate the way we send money to NGOs who are helping funnel these millions of illegals into this country? All of the questions you have regarding what Tom Holman is going to be doing once we hit January have been answered here and answered first on stake for breakfast. And that's just one of four great interviews we've got coming in. Also, a trio of America First Congressmen, the best-dressed man when it comes to America First in the House of Representatives, Troy Nells will be joining us. We'll also catch up with Wisconsin Congressman Tom Tiffany as well, and making his illustrious turn back to the show. It's been way too long, but this guy is just really busy. And when you want to talk about when someone gets off the hill and does a lot of work in his district, whether it's supporting small businesses, having the backs of all the veterans in Arizona, too, or getting out to Navajo Nation and building bridges there that have been destroyed for decades. Of course, I'm talking about Congressman Eli Crane. Oh, we haven't had him in a while. For a while. I mean, his team is great. They're always talking to us. And he's done a lot of major news hits lately. And listen, for someone that's about to be a sophomore, Congressman who's gotten his name out there as one of the hardest workers in D.C. Someone who is a true blue reformist and wants to see all the changes that Donald Trump has campaigned on. Good for Eli Crane getting all these major media hits now and being a regular on places like Fox News and stuff like that. Much like we've seen with a lot of our Congressman who are just completing their first session right now, Corey Mills comes to mind as well. Adam Pauli and Aluna, of course, and many others. But we'll be catching up with him as well. So yeah, buckle up and let's jump right into this. Fox News broke the story on the Botox Queen. Laura Ingraham showed the other night when the news of Donald Trump selecting a Secretary of Defense came across the wire. Let's hear it. That our own Pete Hegsef will be his Secretary of Defense. Pete, of course, has been a host here at Fox for a number of years. He's an Army veteran where he served in Afghanistan in Iraq. Trump saying, quote, Pete has spent his entire life as a warrior for the troops and for the country. He's tough, smart, and a true believer in America first. With Pete at the helm, America's enemies are on notice. Our military will be great again and America will never back down. Wow, that is pretty cool. Gosh, we're going to miss him at Fox, but that's a game for the country. It certainly is, Noah. Now listen, we're fans of Pete Hegsef. He's one of the best dressed on Fox News when he has a three minimum. I don't know if he knew this when it comes to America flags being on part of his retirement. So he has three flag minimum, usually the pin, the belt. And then, I mean, he usually has his suit jackets tailored to have American flag as the inside of the little pill. So pocket squares as well. He wears red, white, and blue sunglasses sometimes. You'll see him wear pants that are tailored a little bit shorter so you can see his America first socks. But that's either here or there. And it's not also the narrative that's being split on the media right now that a Fox News weekend commentator is now being selected to be the head of the Department of Defense. Listen, Noah, we know all about Pete Hegsef. More than a 20 year career in the army served in multiple tours to Iraq and Afghanistan. Correct me if I'm wrong. You don't get bronze stars just as like participation trophies when you're in the military, do you? Well, you might have under the Biden administration with Darth Vader at the helm, but I'm pretty sure when Pete got those, that was an actual thing where you actually got those by earning them. He's also the two time defending Ivy League degree holding champion as well with degrees from two different Ivy League universities, Harvard and Yale. Oh, actually I was wrong. I'm sorry. The ones under the Biden administration were the brown stars. Is that like the guy with the dog mask? Yeah, he got he got two brown stars. Not talking about doge easier, which we'll get to. Doge is up like $3,000. And so is Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy running the incoming outside agency for American efficiency here in the United States. But but same with Pete Hegsef right now. In addition to his very decorated military career, the man also was a huge and this is how he got into media. He got his big break in media because of the outreach and advocacy work he did for veterans rivaling organizations like tunnel to towers and stuff like that. You know, this guy was just out there for some of America's most forgotten men and women and broke into the news circuit several years ago. Had been someone as a filling guest and he's filled in for everybody from Hannity and Laura Ingraham Tucker Carlson when he was still with Fox News. This guy has done it. And this also pays a great tribute to the close naturedness of Donald Trump's inner circle because this wasn't just something where like Donald Trump won the election last Tuesday and he's like, you want to know what I'm going to sit on this for 10 days and I'm just going to put out a press release that I want Pete Hegsef to be the Secretary of Defense. This is something that has been in the work for many months. Much as was the case with Matt Gaetz, which nobody else leaked the press either we floated everybody out there from Andrew Bailey and Ken Paxton to former acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker and beyond. And Donald Trump throws Matt Gaetz name into the arena and it looks like he will be the next Attorney General. Now we'll get into it a little bit later in one of these two podcasts we're putting out there today but I don't want anybody to worry about some of these like more radical leaning to the mainstream media cabinet picks up Donald Trump is making. When you have the House and you have the Senate and the President are all the same party. You have formal confirmation process. You have recess appointments. And then you have appointments as acting. So where you might be a little bit nervous to say someone like a Pete Hegsef or a Tulsi Gabbard to lead the Department of National Intelligence which was announced yesterday as well phenomenal move by President Trump putting her there. And even Matt Gaetz is the Attorney General you have people already this is a joke this is a troll like you'll never get confirmed doesn't have to. One way or another every single one of these selections will be where they're being picked for whether it's through the traditional confirmation process recess appointment or appointed to be acting. Matt Gaetz will be the acting Attorney General if he can't find another traditional route to be there and he will be the Attorney General of the United States whether the radical left or the establishment right or everybody at Kevin McCarthy's team wants it or not. So and we're all working together right now it seems like you know there's not as much pushback from Republicans as there would be traditionally especially when you look at it in comparison to the start of the last Trump administration. But sticking with Pete Hegsef and for a lot of people who might not know him outside of Fox News I pulled a couple clips of him some recently from a podcast that he did last year where he was talking about well American strategic readiness and the way right now. Our country lines up to some of the biggest threats out there geopolitically specifically China let's take it out. The Pentagon is in the book the exact money years but in the past X number of years 10 12 15 the Pentagon has a perfect record in all of its war games against China. We lose every time inside the Pentagon War Games. We know what our real capability you see we didn't even get to this part of the war on warriors I mean the military industrial conflicts the way we procure weapons systems. You know we're always the way our system works the way our bureaucratic system works where the speed of weapons procurement works we're always a decade behind and fighting the last war. Whereas China there we have we have you know what it wrong felt say you go to the war the army you have. We have the China's building an army specifically dedicated to defeating the United States of America that is that is their strategic outset take hypersonic missiles. So far whole far whole power projection platform is aircraft carriers and the ability to project power that way strategically around the globe and yeah we have a nuclear triad and all that but a big part of it. And if you know 15 hypersonic missiles can take out our 10 aircraft carriers in the first 20 minutes of a conflict. What does that look like about I mean and and when they're if they've already got us by the balls economically which you pointed out very well with our grid culturally the plenty of elite capture going on around the globe. I mean and then microchips and everything why do they want Taiwan they want to corner the market completely on the technological future and can't even drive our cars without the stuff we need out of China these days. I mean they they have a full spectrum long term view of not just regional but global domination and we are we have our heads up our asses. Yeah. Now Noah. It sounds like this guy knows a little bit more than the ins and outs of a weekend commentary microphone doesn't it just slightly. You know in the age of TV generals which Donald Trump has alluded to as is one of the biggest cancers that is wrecking our military right now. In addition to our strategic readiness and how that hasn't been such a critical component of focus to over the last 12 of 16 years with Democrats holding the White House. We've implemented more DEI than we have you know attention to things like peak head sex just alluded to hypersonics strategic readiness. You know hitting our numbers which are down at all time rates attrition is up. You see things like addiction and suicide rates not just around veterans but around active duty service men and women in greater numbers than we've ever seen before. Alcoholism is something that runs rampant within the service branches and listen it's just not something that people go into right now looking to have a career and are necessarily proud of because of how the government has managed it. Since Donald Trump has been out of office. You can buy the whole thing that went on with the vaccine mandates and things of that nature it's just there's a lot of work to be done. And I couldn't think of anybody better than some you know kissed ass to get up the top of the rank fake four star general to go in there and rec shop then Pete Hexath who's a decorated you know 20 year army reservist veteran to do the job than him. Because we don't need anymore of telling everybody on TV how awesome we could be we need people that are going to go in there and root out all of this cancer and then start putting people in there who are actually going to get this country in tip top shape and ready to go again. I mean he was even talking about dropping it down to like 90s physical fitness standards again he's like if that's what it was back when the American military was great and we had the largest and most lethal fighting force in the world and that's what we need to go back down to. He's also been a big proprietor of women shouldn't be fighting on the front lines in combat situations as well. Which again I saw some lady the other day well she's actually a congresswoman she came out on you know one of the news channels and like her wheelchairs and she's like well how do you think I lost my legs and the first comment in underneath it was he made your point right there. So it's one of those things where we have to take into consideration just how bad the military is right now it's a bad shape and there are a lot of good service men and women who are just looking to do themselves and their nation proud. And live up to the calling and the standards that they were brought in to kind of work under and prepare to defend our nation and all of our livelihoods for. And I think Pete headset is going to be a great choice he also had talked about all of the woke shit and the components within the military over the course of the last. You know nearly two decades now and how we have to kind of get all that stuff out of it let's listen. Chance the course corrected but it would take the new Trump administration going after it really hard. How would they correct it. Well first of all you got a fire. You got to fire the chairman and joint chiefs and you got to fire this I mean obviously going to bring in a new secretary defense but any general that was involved general Admiral whatever that was involved in any of the DEI woke shit. It's got to go. Yep. Either you're in for war fighting that and that's it and that's the only litmus test we care about. You got to get DEI and CRT out of military academy so you're not training young officers to be baptized in this type of thinking. And then you know whatever the standards whatever the combat standards were say and I don't know 1995 let's just make those the standards and as far as recruiting to hire the guy that you know did top gun Maverick and create some real ads that motivate people to want to serve. And there's lots of other ways in which you could identify who gets promoted and what but there's an ethos changed and the reason we're not people don't want to serve because they don't trust that their senior leaders are going to have their best interest in mind in combat. I know there were mistakes made on our tours all over the place but at least for the most part had a sense that my senior leaders were committed to the completion of the mission for the right reasons. And maybe there were strategic differences and all that other stuff and it wasn't always perfect but I and that that trust is broken and you have to reestablish that trust by by putting in no nonsense war fighters in those positions who aren't going to cater to the socially correct. Listen if you haven't heard that Sean Ryan podcast is you have got to get out listen to it's about an hour and twenty minute listen you will not regret taking that full thing in it and he makes a lot of points. You know it's so weird how out of the four years during Donald Trump's term just getting into the military has changed. You know it's like the most popular things on social media regarding the military right now is either people sitting in Humvees doing food reviews for M.R.E.'s or guys and gals being in their uniform to start off and ending into like a Sailor Moon cosplay transgender whatever. You know and then you could go in in a time where there was no kind of mandates in regards to you know things like the COVID vaccine and have to undergo that. You also go in with the mainstream media in the news telling you you'll never fight on the ground in places like Ukraine against Russia but that's been something that's you know this administration has tried to push for the entirety of it over the course of the last four years. There is no clear mission readiness there is no clear directive and what the goals of this military is right now and that all starts and ends with leaderships you also have someone like Pete headset who I don't think would go off the grid for five days and then lie about it to the press. You know much like Lloyd Austin did during Joe Biden's term in office and listen in kind of wrapping up with our reintroduction to Pete here and our coverage getting him into the show today. I pulled another clip it's got a little bit of a musical interlude to it because I found it on TikTok but here's the deal if you don't think this guy has an axe to grind with not just the military brass and the people that are running all these administrations right now. But the actual government itself in the way it tags and labels all of us wrongfully as bad and evil things no listen to this one. I was deemed a extremist because of a tattoo by my national guard unit in Washington DC and my orders were revoked to guard the Biden inauguration Jerusalem crossed tattoo which is just a Christian Simms at the X. This is the one right here this one is what got me disinvited I'd never had orders revoked before. Listen it's a standard deal you remember after January 6 everyone was in Washington DC like Nancy Pelosi had the parking garage is full of national guardsman. You can stand out. We don't need to we're good. I'm like what do you mean everybody's there. He's like no no no we're you couldn't tell me when I was writing the book I reached out to somebody in the unit who could confirm with 99.9% certain because he was on in the meetings and on the emails. No someone inside the DC guard trolled your social media found a tattoo used it as an excuse to call you a white nationalist and extremist and you were specifically by name orders revoked to guard the inauguration because you were considered a potential threat. How was that more likely a potential whistleblower. Yeah happens to all of us and you know is in listening to that podcast in its entirety you find out that one of the people that was around this commanding officer that made the decision on P. Higgs death broke rank after leaving the military and when he was writing his book reach out to them and say like hey I know this happened to you I just want to kind of give you a little bit of insight and it wound up being a portion of one of the big chapters in there in regards to how bad the government has gotten especially in regards to you know the way the military is conducting itself now. Pretty wild though huh. Yeah I mean maybe do some more food reviews of like chili mac or something. Nobody likes those M.R.E. tacos better than the people on tiktok right. Guys wherever you listen to the show today welcome to the first of two big Friday edition to stake for breakfast. Do us a favor in addition to sharing the show with your friends family co-workers and loved ones head over to your favorite downloadable podcasting platform whether it's apple spotify iHeart Samsung Amazon podcast or wherever you listen to the show today and make sure you're on the show right now. I saw Scott Jennings was on the news the other night seeing as usual in his place and in a round table on CNN and when the narrative was going back and forth across the table about how the incoming secretary of defense pick and Pete Higgs death was a joke. You know he's a commentator they started like showing a couple clips of him like joking around on Fox News there's one where you know they had the axe and they would like throw it at the target they like had it out in the part right in front of the Fox News studio and when Pete Higgs that threw an axe went right over the target and literally hit someone who is doing like a drummer boy behind it in the drum and could have easily taken the guys arm off. But I mean this is what they do like they didn't say anything about all the other stuff he had done outside of his military service which is heavily decorated all of the work he had done for veterans in the past instep Scott Jennings to kind of blow that narrative out of water it's here. I have confidence in the current leadership of the Pentagon and the way the defense situation has been operating for the last several years I mean from the Afghanistan pull out which was an extreme debacle for which no one was held accountable. We've had spy balloons flying over the United States we built a 300 million dollar pier as a public relations stunt which wound up killing an American service member. I'd say I've had just about enough of the so-called insiders running the Defense Department I think we ought to get Pete Higgs at the chance because he's got two daughters. All the criticism of him is that he's not the expected Washington pick and I'm just saying to you that the American people just voted against the expected Washington pick so he's got 20 years in service Afghanistan Iraq two bronze stars Princeton Harvard. Yeah he's on TV but so are the rest of us. By the way I think that listening to you is really interesting because you highlighted a bunch of things that the civilian leadership of the country decided on in the military. Their job was just to execute. They actually go. I'm just saying I decided to go. In terms of the decision making you're assigning decision making responsibility to the military over things that civilians are responsible. So you make a good point the civilian leadership made decisions and then the people they put in charge of the Pentagon carried it out and it was all pretty much a disaster. Now we have a new president who I think got elected in part because of some of those disasters and he's going to put in some of the non-insiders in charge of not just his agency but a bunch of them. Now look you know they've got to perform. They've got to perform. I mean we've got 53 U.S. Centers of the Republicans and Pete Hegg said he's an American hero the man won two bronze stars for his service and he's been a champion for veterans. I don't I mean he's going to have to go up there just like everybody else and prove his knowledge of how to do this job. He's not immune from that but we ought to give this man a chance. Listen what else could you ask for? I mean Donald Trump has been I think pretty amazing with some of his picks so far. No when you're looking at the way that the administration is kind of shaping up. And again we're still waiting on a lot of our picks here in the presidential fantasy draft. But when you see some of the names that have already been tapped Marco Rubio for the Secretary of State obviously we're talking about Pete Hegg Seth is going to be the Secretary of Defense Matt Gates is the Attorney General. Susie Wiles obviously Chief of Staff Stephen Miller Deputy Chief of Staff he also named a bunch of the rest of the White House staff yesterday and made it official Stephen Chong is going to be the White House comms director. So good luck getting a fake news narrative out of that guy. I still come off the top ropes if you try to push it in the media. Christie Gnome to run DHS Tom Holman the borders are someone who's been a huge advocate for veterans and someone that knows his way in and around the halls of Congress as well. One of our favorite Texans Doug Collins to head up veterans affairs. You've got RFK Junior officially being named ahead of Health and Human Services Tulsi Gabbard at the DNI Elise Stefanik Ambassador to the UN Mike Huckabee Ambassador to Israel Lee Zelden the head the EPA John Radcliffe is going to be running the CIA and Mike Walts Florida Congressman going to be running the national security apparatus. It's an unfortunate name to have right now though every time you say Mike Walts and Mike wait no Tim Walts right but and there's still a lot of picks left on the table again. And I put out the meme last night because I can't wait for Cash Patel to land into whatever job he's going to be doing an amazing work at in the next administration. So I found this picture online it looks like it's from like a speed dating event and all of the tables are empty and there's a guy in a full Christian Bale Batman suit sitting at a table with like the number in front of them. And I said I know that we haven't seen Cash's name called in like the 2024 presidential cabinet draft yet but I feel like he's going to be the absolute Tom Brady of the entire season. You got to say the best for last come on true story I mean Tom Brady was drafted 199th out of the University of Michigan and became outside of the two times that he got his ass kicked by Eli Manning in the Super Bowl arguably the greatest quarterback of all time. So when you're talking about and again Matt Whitaker still in the bench Ben Carson still in the bench if he's wanting to serve Devin Nunes still on the bench. So for Cash I mean if if they are thinking of tagging him for the FBI it's like that's probably going to be one of the most influential installments that are going to be happening because I hate to say it but the DOJ and FBI have been completely weaponized and maybe calling his name out as the person as late as possible just gives them less time to do whatever kind of counter bullshit that they're planning on doing I don't know no idea. No you make an excellent point and I think over the course of the next several days we'll see more of that cabinet formulating together and like I said over the course of the next couple shows will be covering it in depth of the year and bringing you the latest on it. Before we jump in with Tom home and I do need to touch on this there was another announcement this week and again this leads right into the narrative that we've been working with over the course of the last several months and it has to do with the debate rum swami we all know that they was probably tabbed to be one of the cabinet positions in the incoming Trump administration however his future political aspirations and that to run a president in the next cycle is obviously going to prevent him from doing that that doesn't mean that he's not going to be all hands on deck and working for America first throughout the course at least in the beginning of the next Trump administration and this announcement came yesterday from the desk of president Trump I am pleased to announce that the great Elon Musk working in conjunction with American patriot Vivek Ramaswami will lead the department of government efficiency or doge together these two wonderful Americans will pave the way for my administration to dismantle the government bureaucracy slash excess regulations cut wasteful expenditures and restructure federal agencies essential to the save America movement this will send shockwaves through the system and anyone involved in the government including to do with waste which is a lot of people will be looked at first stated Mr Musk it will become potentially the Manhattan project of our time Republican politicians have dreamed about the objectives of Doge for a very long time to drive this kind of drastic change the Department of government efficiency will provide advice and guidance from outside of the government and will partner with the White House and office of management and budget to drive large scale structural reform create entrepreneurial approach to the government like never seen before I and this is President Trump look forward to Elon and Vivek making changes to federal bureaucracy with an eye of efficiency and at the same time making life better for all Americans importantly we will drive out the massive waste and fraud which exists throughout our annual 6.5 trillion dollars of government spending they will work together to liberate our economy and make the U.S. government accountable to we the people their work will conclude no later than July 4th 2026 a smaller government with more efficient and less bureaucracy will be the perfect gift to America on the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence I am confident they will succeed so as of today we have 528 days to get the job done their goal is to cut at least a trillion dollars and waste trillion trillion you've heard it from some congressman a couple hundred billion is like the end of democracy as we know it when you talk about it in budgetary spending from all of these members of Capitol Hill who have looked to trim the fat throughout the 118 session of Congress they're looking to slash a trillion dollars a year for the next four years they will have the first two years of Donald Trump's presidency to prove that they could do it in a manner Elon Musk has with all of his businesses over the years and Vivek Ramaswami has with his businesses at the same time as well what do you think though I think so as well I like the Department of Government efficiency logo that they floated listen it's going to be a non-federal outside agency providing oversight that's the logo that they're using and Elon Musk said they're going to be the first federally tied agency to have the hottest merch in the history of our government so I can't wait to get a doge hat or doge shirt to hang up in the studio here behind me but I was wrong my doge stock has went down from over 2000 to like 1500 went up went down I think people are I think people are capitalizing on the name recognition but I think I think meme stocks about to hit it again so it's a little down right now is what you're saying yeah by the dip by the dip there you go CNN was absolutely losing it over the formation of this government watchdog agency let's hear it Vivek Ramaswami who's going to run this has said some pretty interesting things in the past he said why am I the only person on the stage you can say that January 6 now looks like an inside job basically that's a paraphrase there he also said I think it's legitimate to say how many police how many federal agents were on the planes that hit the Twin Towers he speculated the Taylor Swift Travis Kelsey relationship was artificially culturally propped up by the media and may have been kind of a White House conspiracy lead the kind of person you want in charge of reshaping the government let me know what the kinds of things that that we want to focus on when we're thinking about what what he might do now I think he and Elon Musk talked a lot about what they want to do to make the government more efficient they both talked about how they are outsiders who have done a lot of things in the private sector that they want to bring into the government sphere. I think one of the things that Vivek was so popular for even though he didn't clearly pose a real challenge to Donald Trump was that he was he had all this experience that he was going to bring in and drain the swamp so to speak he was a he was an alternative version of Donald Trump and I think that's what they're looking to do here there's a lot of conversations about how to streamline make things more efficient bring in innovation do outside in kind of thinking and I think that's the approach that they're really focused on and I think that's what they're doing together he stayed at Mar-a-Lago they travel up to DC this week right outside of meeting with Joe Biden Elon Musk was sitting in the front row of the house conservatives and Republicans when Donald Trump went to address them on behalf of the invitation of speaker Johnson went with Donald Trump to the White House I don't know if he was in the meeting I don't think so but he might have been part of the staff that went in there with him you know and then they're back at Mar-a-Lago that night seeing God bless America with an Italian American opera singer on stage to close out like you know one of Donald Trump's in the middle of the night. And then they were talking about like you know one of Donald Trump's dance parties that he has every day to end whatever events going on down there at Mar-a-Lago and last night they had the big gala for the American First Policy Institute where consequently we'll do a little bit of coverage that later I don't want to spoil it in any way shape or form but we did have someone come out as a full on Trump supporter if he dies he dies. But you know and then when someone was talking and asked like we finally found our George Soros and that's like a non-government independent billionaire who just wants to fund everything to make sure we make America great again. Not all the creepy nasty stuff associated with George Soros but again when you just look at it and Elon Musk is on track right now within the next couple years to be the first trillionaire the world has ever known don't tell Dan Pena because he was there first. But he right now Elon Musk is worth like 44 or 45 George Soros's and he's on our team that I'd rather I'd rather Elon Musk have much more influence than that fucking psychopath. Yeah, even if he's I mean I think really George Soros is alive only in the way that Emperor Palpatine was in the latest Star Wars movie where he had like the huge machine hooked up to his back and he was kind of regenerating in real time. But I mean I saw some media talking head and they were saying they were talking shit about the doge thing and they were saying that it was actually like a downgrade for Elon Musk because Elon Musk was actually going to be the co-president. I was like what the fuck are you talking about? I saw that I was so insane. No, we'll hear from her in one of her, you know, absolutely co-post later but she was interviewed this week Pocahontas. Elizabeth Warren was complaining about something or another in regards to doge. I actually saw that she was put in charge of the Department of Indian Affairs. You know it's pretty funny because she was being very critical of the Vekramaswami and the first comment in underneath that post from her official senatorial website was you're just pissed that he's actually a real Indian. And no, it's great and I tell you what, this is what we're going to actually have to do to be able to trim some of the fat. It's not just going to come from Republicans all of a sudden like changing the way the game's been played forever or Democrats wanting to get involved as well. It's going to have to come from outside of Congress in regards to trimming government spending. Listen, there's going to be a lot of firings, so that's going to free up. But when you're talking about trillions, I mean we're going into every single thing that money is spent on within our government being heavily scrutinized moving forward. And you know for as much as people aren't liking it from the other side of the aisle, I don't think the office of Joe Biden is really looking at it as something serious as well. KGB was asked at the White House Press Pool about it yesterday. Let's listen to her response. There's the White House have any reaction to this department of government efficiency that Trump announced yesterday he's brought on Elon Musk and even Ramaswami to lead. It says the group is being tasked to find ways to cut government spending waste regulations. Does the White House have any concerns about this effort or do you think maybe it's a good idea to look at these things? No comment. I'm not going to comment. She didn't even want to be transparent. And what was the other thing she always says? I want to be completely transparent and historic. Thank you. Oh, yeah. She didn't even want to be historic or transparent. She just didn't want to comment on it. Well, that's another thing. And you're not getting paid for that. You're getting paid to lie to us, not tell us you're not going to answer the question. You're going to lie to us while you don't answer the question. That's what you're fucking paid for, lady. Look at the de-naturedness of how they've propped her up over the last two plus years after Jen Psaki left from the job. And then you have Susie Wiles, who's the first female White House chief of staff, not someone who's just been involved with politics throughout her career, but I mean, we also have to, you know, pay homage to her father, who was a famous football player, but more notably Hall of Fame broadcaster, Pat Summerall. You know, you talk about breaking glass ceilings. We definitely did it with the selection of Susie Wiles to be the White House chief of staff, but nobody gives a shit about that because it's Donald Trump's pick. Who's going to be the press secretary? That'd be interesting. There was a lot of people floating out names, like ridiculous ones, like Tucker Carlson, that was never going to happen. How much of a step down would that be for him to go out and have to deal with all those asshats every day? It would be amazing. Yeah, but I mean, he's just not going to do it. Right. The Tucker Carlson network over the course of the last couple years. And listen, much like Elon Musk, who's going to be focused on all of his business sees because he said, "We're going to the moon in 18 months. We're going to Mars in the next four years." And he was on a Twitter space recently talking about what it's going to take to go to Mars. Hundreds, if not thousands of these starships, leaving at the same time, all to be able to land to help start building all their shit. Yeah, building a city that would be sustainable for interplanetary travel. So again. Back to the Tucker thing real quick. Sure. What if Tucker did it? But he just had the press pool would be in his studio and it would just be part of his show. They would just interview, "You're not in here with me. I'm in here with you. One of those things." Yeah. I like it. The show starts up with Tucker Carlson triggering the lighter. Yeah. Welcome to the White House press pool. I'm Tucker Carlson. No, but much like the way Elon Musk, listen, he started the America First Pack in Pennsylvania. We all know how well that went. We flipped the Senate seat. We saved Scott Perry as the one seat out of 223 that the Democrats wanted to target in this election. They failed to do so and turn the state red for Donald Trump. He's going to be expanding that to be working in all the swing states ahead of the midterm elections to make sure we remain in the majority in both the House and Senate. In 2026 as well. So these guys are best served in that way. I think Tucker Carlson doing his town halls and hosting events with all of these people that are critical to the America First Movement and bringing awareness to the American people instead of just getting it every night on the TV set in your living room is very important here. So I think everybody's roles is like, "Listen, we changed the way we do elections. We're going to change the way the governments ran." And that's kind of like the, for some people, it makes them very uncomfortable for people like us. Okay, scenario. The future is looking bright right now. Speaking of which, we're going to leave it at that and we're going to be jumping in for our stakes-lusive interview. Nice, big, long, deportation-heavy interview with the incoming boarders are of the United States, the former acting ICE director. He served under six presidents and for many decades, Tom Holman. Alright, joining us next on the show today to speak Friday edition of the State Breakfast Podcast, he's the former acting ICE director who served under the Trump administration. He's looking to come back in January of next year as the newly appointed borders are. Of course, we're talking about the one and only Mr. Tom Holman. Thanks for joining us on the show. Thanks for having me again. Oh, sir. It's obviously an honor and a pleasure. Congratulations on the big appointment ship from President Trump. We knew going into this election, if he was able to win in the fashion, that he wasn't. Let's start there. You know, we're coming on the heels of a historic victory right now, Tom, and I really have to be honest with you. The electoral landslide, which was very impressive, but a culmination of the work that President Trump and everyone around him, including yourself, has put in over the course of the last couple of years, promoting the America First Agenda, letting the nation clearly understand what's going on in this country, etc. The popular vote victory shows that the mandate and the agenda that's incoming, which a big part of that is going to include yourself, is that we want those America First principles that Donald Trump campaigned on, namely safe and secure borders and mass deportations. So now, as you're getting ready to transition into this new role, where you're going to be overseeing all things related to the border, what's the experience been like so far? And how excited are you to be getting back to work for the American people? Well, first of all, I'm honored that President Trump, you know, chose me to secure this border. You know, President, I respect President Greatley. Look, I've been all over the airwaves, especially Fox News, where we're complaining for four years, where the administration did to the most secure border in my lifetime. I'm angry about it. I wake up every day pissed off about it. So the President calls you, President Trump calls you and says, "Okay, you've been bitching about it for four years. You've been saying what they did wrong and how we can fix it, so are you ready to fix it? How can you say no?" So I absolutely didn't hesitate to take the job as his borders are. President Trump had the most success of any President ever worked for, and you and I've talked about many times. I've worked for six presidents, both Democratic and Republicans. Every one of them took steps to secure the border because they understood you can't. That's your security, if you don't have a border security. But President Trump's success was unprecedented. What he did was more than the other, you know, five presidents combined. So I'm on the door come again. We need to secure that border because the border right now is the biggest national security vulnerability this nation seeing since 9/11. So I'm excited to get to work and secure that border. Now, you know, you do make an excellent point, and I do want to kind of emphasize on that, because we like to make sure that our relationship is dialed into exactly what's going on. There is a problem with the amount of people that have come in here. There is a problem with the openings along the U.S. southern border as well. The international cartels and transnational gangs have operated freely. Humans smuggling, women smuggling, children smuggling, and narcotics smuggling over the course of the last four years and under Joe Biden and Kamal Harris. But you always emphasize on the national security threat, the people that are coming in from source countries who are looking to do harm here. There's also been connectivity to people coming into this country that are looking to do harm to the incoming president. Trump and things of that nature. When you talk about how the border historically has, you know, in some instances allowed for bad people to come in, the way it's been done over the course of the last four years, it's historic and not in a good way. And when you talk about the compromising of our national security, it's probably at a level now that we've never seen before, even including the time around 9/11. Well, look, first of all, you know, the left is going crazy. We all know that, but if you think about this a minute, they're going crazy, why? Because I'm going to force the law. I mean, really? What I'm doing, I'm going to force the law to sign the book. So it's just a credible that's going, that's what you're right. Look, it should be a nonpartisan issue to secure the bull. To make more people pay more to get away. Why didn't they turn themselves in for less money? Pre-airline ticket to the city of New Jersey. Get free hotel and get free meals a day. Get work authorization within 90 days. Why don't two million people plus pay more not to take advantage of that give away program? You know, like, more or less people from 181 different countries, many of these countries are sponsors of terror. If you don't think a single one of those got away has come from a country sponsored terror, then you're an idiot. So look, I just, I can't believe it's a partisan issue. This is the biggest national security threat to this nation right now. I would think everybody, Republican, Democrat, and independent would agree to that. Security borders should be a nonpartisan issue. So it shocks me that we got this far left wing population that just don't want to secure the border. Obviously, if we got about 9/11. And even the director of the FBI, who I don't really like, even he agrees with me that the Southwest border is a huge national security border. Hard stop. That is why we're getting to secure the border. If you don't believe in anything else, stop home and say it. You got to agree with me, this is national security vulnerability and needs to be closed. Oh, that's an excellent point. And then when you talk about those on the far left, you know, we've seen a lot of virtue signaling coming from California Governor Gavin Newsom. Obviously, the mayor of Chicago, Mr. Johnson this week. It said some things along the same lines. The governor of Massachusetts last week, all kind of out there virtue signaling that they're not going to be willing to work with federal law enforcement. Even local agencies that are going to be collaborating with you guys as well in removing of people from this country who don't belong here. Now, when you parlay that into the people that are already set up for deportation, that's well over 1.5 million. And then you go off of those two lists of aggravated criminals who have been led into the country under Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. It seems like you guys got a pretty good base to start with. But what do you have to say to those people who are going to continue to allow the constituents and citizens of their communities to be under the constant threat of these dangerous people who live there and have been allowed into this country and basically say we're not going to do anything about it. You know, I'd like to say I'm shocked when I'm not because the hatred for Trump is just incredible. But as a criminal law enforcement officer, I sit back and just I think about, are you kidding me? As a governor or mayor that's elected by the people, your first responsibilities to your communities keep them safe. And we've been clear that we're going to our priority is public safety threats and national security threats. One mayor or governor wants to send a message out that, you know, we're not going to help us. Public safety threats, I'm not going to help you. National security threats, I'm not going to help you. What the hell is going on? You're never always possibilities to safety your community. And we made it clear what our priorities are. Now, look, it would be great to work with these people. It would be great to work with the local law enforcement in these sanctuaries. But, you know, if they don't, they get the hell out of the way because we're going to do it. I mean, you know, federal law, Trump's any state of federal law, and we're going to do it. We have to do it. American people, if you think they learned a lesson, American people just gave President Trump a mandate. Number one issue on his agenda was the border, immigration. And even though I had landslide victory, including many people from these sanctuary states, that they want to do this. Again, it should not be a partisan issue to remove public safety threats from our communities. But we're going to do it. I wish they'd come to the table and work with us. But they don't. It's not going to slow us down somewhat, but then we got jumped to hurdles. But we're going to do it. The men and women of ICE, the men and women of Bork show, they got a job to do. And as no governor or mayor is going to stop them from doing their negotiate, mandated duty. Now, for as much as the rank and file are looking to get back to work, and from what we hear on the ground out here in places like San Diego and across the country right now, Tom, is that after the abuse that they've had to endure, you've seen, you know, agencies not being able to meet their quotas. You've seen attrition rates at historic highs. Also suicides, there's been a lot of these agencies have also unfortunately been at historic highs over the course of the last four years as well. What do you have to say to the management who more closely aligns with, you know, banking their political capital based on who's president, maybe staying under the radar when it's a Republican, but then really doing all the things that are counterproductive to what real border security looks like. Let's just say when someone like Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were in office. Look, you know, elections has consequences and we all work for somebody. And I was, I would like to say I work for six presidents. Some I respect immigration views, some I did. But, you know, the White House will set the priorities and that's happened every presidency. So, you know, you got to work within parties, cuts addressing being given by the boss. However, for those that were not being true to their oath, those that are want to sabotage what we're about to do, they should be put on notice. I understand when you're in a high level position, you got to do with the president once you do. That's his job. I get it. So, you know, I'm going to say that the president has the right to declare what the priorities are saying with the secretary. However, don't turn your back on the men and women that work for you. Don't turn your back on the oath you took. So, you know, that hopefully the vast, vast majority, the vast, vast majority, I saw great American teachers want to do the job. It's some of the management that, you know, need to be looked at. They want to do the job that they, that they're all says they should do. They want to do the job that can got Congress mandated to do. So, look, we're going to go back with a clean slate. We're going to get this job done. If any career official pushes back, then, you know, you should be put on notice because we have the duty to do. You know, it is, I say all the time, people want to hate on ICE and the Board of Trustees. Okay, wait, you want to call ICE and the Board of Trustees and, you know, White Nationalist, whatever. If there are races for enforcing immigration law, what's that make members of Congress who wrote them off? I say, ICE and the Board of Trustees aren't making this up. They're doing what the law tells them to do. And they're doing what Congress mandates them to do. They're doing what Congress funds them to do. So, you know, I want to defend the men and women of ICE and Board of Trustees today. I died. I'm glad I'm coming back because we need these men and women in the morale booster that have not been able to do the job it's supposed to do. And rather than securing the Board and addressing our national security, they've been delegated to tours agents and Uber drivers just taking people process and release them. That's one of the changes they want. Yeah, I think there are a lot of people that are very excited for that. Tom, you know, and then when you talked about the incoming DHS secretary, it was just recently named that it's going to be South Dakota Governor Christie Noem. Not someone who lives in a border state, but someone who has stood shoulder to shoulder with Donald Trump on policy for the entirety of the time that he's been a politician. In addition to that, she's made several trips and has sent national guard troops from South Dakota down to help support the mission of doing the job that needs to get done. When you see the current DHS secretary who by the time he decides to leave office will probably have led over 20 million people unabatedly into this country. No one could probably do the job worse, but when you look at someone that's as closely aligned with President Trump as let's say you are, I would put Governor Noem into the same category as well, going to take over the DHS agency. It's got to be pretty excited to be working with someone of her caliber. I'm a supporter of Christine Allman, and we've already had discussions. The border is a big issue, and that deserves 100% attention from somebody, and that's me, because I know I know well. DHS is a big job. Secretary is a big job. You got TSA, you got FEMA, that's broke, these be fixed. You got Secret Service, broke, these be fixed. You've got the Coast Guard, you've got all these other things that will keep her tied up. Now, she's going to be engaged in immigration, don't get me wrong. She'll be working closely together, but Trump was, I think, a genius. Having the borders, I was going to spend 100% of his time on this will relieve the secretary from getting the weeds done on things, and I can help provide her policy recommendations, what I think should happen. They take a little bit off her plate and help her succeed. So, I think it was great creating this border is our position. So, someone's full time on the biggest issue, faceless nation, the biggest issue President Trump ran on, the biggest issue that American people get a mandate on. I think it's a genius move to have one guy, didn't have to be me, but somebody who's going to have a sole focus on the border in immigration. That's an excellent point you make because she is going to have to have a lot of clearing out to do in some of those federal agencies, the rod at the top, which has helped mandate these policies that have been going on for the last couple of years, management, probably like GS13 levels and up across the board are going to be heavily scrutinized within the agency. And then when you talk about policy changes, part of this falls back on Congress. The House got the majority, but the good part is we flip the Senate as well, so no matter how small of a margin they have, they could still vote the legislation up to the Senate and get it to President Trump's desk. Now, for as much as we like things like HR, one in the last session of Congress, we hope to revisit that during reconciliation, but there's also going to have to be some look to add, you know, some organizations that work and operate directly around the border on both sides, and that's the NGOs. When you see that the United States government is funding some of these organizations that are helping to facilitate this human smuggling and narco-smuggling operation going on from, you know, essentially around the world, are you going to be leaning on members of Congress as well to take a look at some of these things and maybe rework them for this administration moving forward? Perhaps so, you know, the NGOs, they've made $500 on this crisis. And the thing is, we're spending a lot of money, NGOs are putting aliens in bed at $500 a night in a hotel room. Meanwhile, there's empty ice bands at $127 a night. Already paid for sitting empty. I think there's some corruption that occurred during the awards, a lot of the sole source contracts. That's what we look at. But the NGOs, they should be concerned because we're not going to keep funding these NGOs to be complicit and help bring people into the country. Because some of the NGOs are working south of the border, as you know. The UN, we need to look at the UN, who was self-funded, this mass migration throughout the globe. So, you know, the United States keeps a lot of money, so we need to look at that. So, there's a new share coming to town in January of President Trump, and we're going to hold people accountable. And we're going to find out exactly who did what. We're going to find exactly the truth about the border crossing is the God of ways, the vetting processes that we use. The CBP-1 app, the CHNV program, we're going to look at all of this. And I'm sure what we're going to find. And look, how many families do they separate? I know they have, they've been hiding it. So, we're going to pull this out. And we're also going to find out why there's 300,000 missing children in this country. 300,000 children that are smuggling this country by cartels, and this administration don't know where they are. And one of the Trump's priorities is to find these missing children and say, well, many of them are going to be in forced labor. We've already found some in forced labor. Some are going to be in sex trafficking, some live in with sexual predators. Some of these children live in life for hell, and they need to be saved, and have another prior to the Trump administration. No, it is. And then in closing today, Tom, you've already gone and done a couple of big major media hits outside of the conservative arena. I'm going to have him back to your 60 Minutes interview a couple of weeks ago. It was just really interesting to see the angles that they kind of took. They went into all the virtue, signaling things. They're going to try and essentially demonize border security and national security moving forward and at the start of the Trump administration. Just to clarify for our listenership, as we know you've laid it out so elegantly over the years that you've been, you know, a major contributor here on the show, and we really appreciate it. Talk about how important it is to set up that infrastructure the first hundred days and get things rolling. So that, during the course of this administration and moving forward, the border is safe and secure, and once we get to start removing the people who don't belong here from the country, you're going to see a lot of the things that have negatively affected Americans across the way throughout the course of the last four years. Everything from the education system, the healthcare system, the economy, the jobs market, et cetera, all start to get better because Americans are going to have the opportunity to do those things again. Well, first of all, the left is, you know, coming out hard and a lot of hate out there. I'm being attacked by the left. But frankly, I don't give a shit what they think about me and never have, never will. Again, it should be a non-partisan issue. But you want to tax the taxes. I like to remind that President Obama gave me the presidential record word for where I did it in this office and how things have changed, right? He gave me presidential record work. We had a record number removal. So all of a sudden now, he gave his vice president, becomes president, and I'm a terrible man. But again, I don't care. I don't care what they think about me. Never have. Because they can't cancel you if you don't give a shit. And I know. So anyways, I'm going to do my job unabated. And I'm not going to apologize for doing the job. But like I say, I want to force the law. Help, they're right. And force the law. But look, what needs to be, what need we need to do, we need to control the messaging, right? The American people need to know exactly what we're doing and how we're doing it. So it needs to be regular briefings. I've already said our priorities would be public safety carers and national security threats. So we need to constantly let the American people know who we're arresting and who are they? What sort of criminal are they? What sort of national security threat are? So we can prove the American people who are doing what we say. As we rescue children, we need to do briefings and that. We need to control the narrative because the left is going to set up so much misinformation. And they're going to try to turn public sentiment against us. President Trump's going to do the right thing. But one thing people need to remember, no one ever talks about it because they say Trump's a racist and I'm a racist and we're xenophobic and everything else they control out of us. But under the first Trump administration, 91% of everybody is arrested. 91% of everybody we arrested was the criminal, convicted criminal, pending criminal charges or a fugitive. That's a pretty good prioritization. Where do the other 90% come from? The other 90% law than more cloud arrest. They're with the person that we targeted for arrested criminal. Where do we arrest those emotional sladdles and sanctuary cities? Why? Because we couldn't arrest the bad guy in the jail, which means they released them. We had to go find the bad guy in the community and he was with others that we're not going to turn our back on. So if you want, if you want more stringent targeting, you want that 91% to be close to 100%. Let us in the jail, let us talk to the criminal that you decided to lock it into a jail cell. For a parent reason, he's a public safety threat. So let us talk to that guy when we're done with him. Not only will we take him out of the community, we'll take him out of the country and make this country safer. Let me tell you a son. What President Trump's about to do is he's going to make this country safer. The illegal alien crime is going to decrease. Fat and all overdose deaths are going to decrease. We're going to have a better handle on that, right? The sex trafficking of women and children will decrease. President Trump's about to make this country a lot safer. He's about to save a lot of lives. And I say that because when President Trump had illegal immigration on 98%. How many people didn't die across on the border? Under Joe Biden, we got over 3,000 aliens that died across on this border in historic record. We got a quarter million American dead from fat knock from his across that border. President Trump's policy when he secured that border is going to save lives. Not just your citizens, but the migrants themselves. It makes perfect sense, and I can't wait to get going. No, and you got to go in here on the show today, Tom. Listen, we got your social media handle live in the show description today. We really appreciate it. Our whole listenership is excited for you to get back to work. We're all praying for you here to get off to a fast start. And as always, we're going to be tracking every single thing that you're doing and supporting you along the way. It's been great catching up with you and our listenership really appreciate it. This is the former acting ice director who's now been tabbed as America's borders are. This is Tom Holman. Thanks for joining us on the show today, sir. Have a great weekend. You got to thank you, sir. Thank you, sir. Thanks for the moment because President-elect Trump is descending the stairs from his plane, returning to Washington, D.C., triumphant in his victory. And we'll see he's going to hit the ground here in a moment. And then he's off to the races. A appropriate color for the tie today, I would say red, white and blue as he comes down the stairs. And then with the salute, we'll head to Capitol Hill to meet with House Republicans. And we believe he'll be there for about 30 minutes and make his way to the White House, and we'll track all of it. All right. Jumping back into the news portion of the show here on the first of two big frat editions in the "Stake of Breakfast" podcast. And that was Fox News announcing Donald Trump's illustrious return to Washington, D.C., earlier this week, where he met historically with current President Joe Biden. And in addition to that, House and Senate Republicans up on Capitol Hill. So Noah, it was a busy day for President Trump, started out with a little travel at about 4 a.m. made it up to D.C. for his meeting with House Republicans, I believe, by 9. Went over to the White House for what they considered like a working but formal lunch before heading back to the airport and flying back down to Mar-a-Lago where he hosted a major event and ended with Donald Trump Elon Musk and Chris Machio in the 2 a.m. hour of the same day, or into the next, singing "God Bless America." What do you think? I mean, I can't imagine anybody having any complaints about that. I've heard from many people closely associated with the transition team that they are working literally 24 hours a day, and that includes Donald Trump. And like, I don't see how any of that could be exaggerated or even close. So every time I turn on the TV, he's at an event, he's doing an interview. I hope he's getting a little bit more sleep now because, you know, you can rest a little bit now, but I mean, the hard work has just begun. He looked fresh. He definitely looked fresh. And as I already mentioned, he would head over to the nation's Capitol. Oh, side note here. So Melania Trump didn't travel with him for this. And it was announced this week that Melania Trump would be taking a role of part-time First Lady. During the course of the Second Trump administration, she would be spending time in D.C. and attending to some of her First Lady duties throughout the course of Donald Trump's second term in office. However, she wanted to remind everybody that she has a young child who just entered adulthood who's getting ready to complete his first year of college in New York. So she'll be doubling time between D.C. and Florida, and obviously New York, where Baron Trump lives over the course of the next four years because she's got wife and mother duties to attend to. So a little bit different than the First administration, but she assured everybody much as she did, made the new circuits. Obviously, when her book came out a little bit over a month ago that she will be around. She will be very present for all the major events, but being a mama bear or something that she really enjoys. And when you look about how young Baron Trump is, he's going to be 19 years old next year. He'd probably want one of your parents around, and when your dad's president of the United States, sometimes it makes a little bit hard, right? But also, it was a leak to the press that she didn't make this trip because she hates the Bidens and had nothing to say to Jill Biden because Melania Trump feels that that decision came not from the Department of Justice, not from within the FBI, but from the Oval Office, the discretion and direction of Joe Biden and Jill Biden to raid Mar-a-Lago. And she said, I am not going to go sit down and pretend I want to spend time with the people who had FBI agents going through my son's belongings and my underwear drawer. So there was that, but Jill Biden did have a letter as is customary during the transition for Donald Trump to take to Melania Trump. And they met for a little over two hours, which we'll get to in a sec. But before he stopped at Capitol Hill where the House Republicans were conferencing and wanted to speak after Speaker Johnson kind of gave them a little spiel on, guess what, we're winning again on just how good it feels to put a big fat W in the column. Let's hear it. Ladies and gentlemen, please stand your feet. The 47th president of the United States, Donald J. Trump. You get the abbreviated version here. And I won't forget the men who died who gave that fight to me and I'm at this stand up next to you. And the men purrs still today 'cause there ain't no doubt I love this friend. God bless the USA. Well, thank you very much. This is a very nice gathering. Isn't it nice to win? He looked fresh. Nice to win. It's always nice to win. And listen, outside of that, the only coverage that was allowed into the room by the press before he got to some of the nuts and bolts of work to be done in the House of Representatives was I am endorsing. I am 100% backing and I have extremely high expectations for Mike Johnson to remain Speaker of the House. Are we going to have issue with that? To which the room replied unanimously? No. So I will be very relieved to be announcing today that Mike Johnson will be the next Speaker of the House moving into the 119th session of Congress without challenge. I think when you talk about administrative problems and getting off to the wrong start Noah, President Trump got out quick ahead of this and kind of reminded Republicans of why they kept the House majority and probably slipped the Senate into Republican control. And it's because he was at the top of the ticket. So let's get to work for the American people as soon as we get back to work in January. What do you think? Let's get it. Get it going. I don't want to wait anymore. I want it to happen tomorrow. Yeah. Following Donald Trump addressing the House Republicans and before he went over to the White House, Speaker Johnson took to the steps of Capitol Hill to give a brief statement on Donald Trump's visit. Let's hear it. American people want us to implement and deliver that America first agenda. And we have to do that while we have that energy and that excitement beginning on the very first day of the Congress in the new year. It's clear the American people do want secure borders. They want to prevent terrorists and criminals from entering the country. These things are common sense. They want and deserve lower costs for groceries and gasoline. They want us to project strength on the world stage again and not the weakness that we have projected for the last four years. They want an end to the wokeness and the radical gender ideology and a return to common sense in our children's classrooms and corporate boardrooms and government agencies. And we're going to ensure all that's true. This leadership will hit the ground running to deliver President Trump's agenda and 119th Congress and we will work closely with him and his administration to turn this country around and unleash as he says a new golden age in America. Now again, we all know how we're feeling coming at a 180 session. But you have to be honest with us. When you talk about what happened after Kevin McCarthy was vacated and once Speaker Johnson got put in not one piece of major legislation was ever signed into law by Joe Biden. Now the budgetary things outside of shutting the government down. We argued if it happened and listen, everybody wants the government shutdown if they're not doing the work of the American people, but it would have hurt House Republicans possibly flipping the Senate and maybe even Donald Trump because how the Democrats control the media and the narrative towards the end of the election cycle. I look at it this way, the government wasn't shut down. We retain the house. We're going to extend the majority by I think two or three seats. We flip the Senate and Donald Trump's going back to the White House. So that narrative was correct. We should not have shut down the government and we should have passed continuing resolutions short of an omnibus which we're not going to pass now just to get Donald Trump back into the White House so we can get to doing the work that we need to have done. Period. So that's it. The other thing I'm hearing is a lot of people defended Mike Johnson. The same people were also critical of him saying that he is the most conservative Speaker of the House the country has ever had. Now we get the opportunity to see what that looks like. Just remember, Mike Johnson was on the defense team for both of Donald Trump's impeachments. Mike Johnson used to be critical and we've played all the clips over the years of him taking these top agency ass hats and jerk offs who sit in cabinet positions to task during committee work before he became Speaker of the House. You have to put on a different hat when you're governing over the entire body. And unfortunately, we saw what that looks like when someone is extremely conservative but has a Democrat Senate and a Democrat in the White House. Now, there's no excuses. And starting in January of next year, I believe they're sworn in on the third. So they get back to work about two weeks before the president. And leading up to the midterm elections, his job is to get every piece of legislation that Donald Trump once done drafted and passed up to the Senate as fast as possible. Also work with some of these collaborative agencies who are going to be working on reducing government spending. And then to be based like he used to be. I mean, I know it's hard to remember because it was like literally six years ago. But when Mike Johnson slowly rose up into the camera pan right in front of Nancy Pelosi's congressional office with a completely straight face but holding the newspaper that said Trump acquitted, I miss that, Mike Johnson. I want that Mike Johnson back. And I really feel like we might see Mike Johnson a little bit more unchained in the 119th session of Congress. Now, I'm not going to war for this guy. He's got a lot of stuff to prove. Again, he will be governing over the whole body and overseeing all things in the House of Representatives. But America sent Republicans to do the job with an enormous mandate, including the popular vote victory. And we need based Mike Johnson back. So I'm going to leave it at that as we're getting ready to continue coverage here of Donald Trump's triumphant return to Washington, D.C. Speaking of illustrious returns, we'll be jumping in with Arizona Congressman Eli Kranis. He makes his here on the show today at the end of this segment. So much like we talked about at the top of the show, Donald Trump and Joe Biden met in the White House fireside first for pictures with the press. And when I say fireside, it was about a five alarmer behind them as about a dozen starter logs were thrown into the fireplace and ignited at the same time. But we got to go back to this Noah Shitting, Grinn from Joe Biden. No, it's amazing. The guy has got an unbelievable amount of pressure lifted from builders. Not that there was really that much pressure on him before. Other than, I mean, literally elder abuse, making him go and prepare for shit and like waking him up at all hours of the night and making him do shit that he didn't want to do. Like now he's just like, fuck that bitch. I'm going to wear a Trump hat. I'm going to freaking have the biggest shitting grin on my face while I'm talking to literally Hitler. The best part about it is, listen, I might resort to fisticuffs in regards to you trying to convince me. And I'm being completely honest with you here that Joe and Joe Biden didn't vote for Donald Trump. I'm not even joking. No, I 100% they both voted for him. Yeah. Jill, a thousand percent voted for him because you know, Jill is the most slighted person throughout this whole thing. Joe's brain is porridge like he's like, whatever, fuck it. I just want to have, I just want to have some ice cream and just fucking hang out and do nothing. But Jill had like delusions of grandeur. She wanted to be something to be the Empress of America. And now she's like, there's no way you're going to tell me she didn't wear maga red the day after. And that wasn't on purpose. She had a flag lapel pin on. That's almost like, Oh my God, it's like oh, yeah, you could almost as a Democrat catch on fire if you walk out of the house with that on, but it's, you know, and no one a thing or two about dimension, not because I have it, obviously, but because I had a couple grandparents who were subjected to it towards the very end of their lives. When the when the weights are lifted off your shoulders and the responsibilities are kind of thrown to the wayside and you don't try to keep them on like a regimented schedule. Yeah, well, they just get to hang out. Demental clarity. Yep. Yeah. Well, and it's like there, when it comes to dementia, like all your core memories are there. You remember everything. You may, you may have a serious problem with like recent memory. And I don't think Joe Biden's there. I think he's borderline he has, I mean, people are saying he was a sundowner and that could very well be the case. Like he probably does get confused as the light dims and stuff like that. But yeah, I just, I don't, I don't see it. I don't think I don't think it's as bad as they thought because I think he's really coming into his own right now. He's just like, yeah, fuck it. You know what? They were just dragging me around the fucking place and I hated it. Sign this, do that, go there, all more stairs. Oh, you're going to put sandbags right next to where I'm speaking. You're going to, you're going to lock my feet into, you know, the, the pedals on the bike. All this stuff that he had to be forced to do over the years. And listen, there's no love lobster Joe Biden. I mean, he's a completely corrupt, dirty, filthy scumbag politician who has milked DC and the overall governmental apparatus for over 50 years now. But when it comes to this instance right here and how historic it was going back to the time where Donald Trump went to the White House and met with Barack Obama during the transition, it was a lot lighter mood. And honestly, when I saw Joe Biden, you might say that he has become transparent. Yeah. When I saw his face light up, I kind of got teary eyed because I'm like, look at this old motherfucker. Enjoy the end of like, what is going into being cast into a relevance? Like he's literally going to walk away and be like, it wasn't Jack. Call it what you will. I'm the only person that would beat Donald Trump. Yeah. Should have stuck with old Joe Biden. One time. Should have stuck with old Joe Biden. He's like, those two chicks tried. Couldn't do it. Couldn't do it. What if Trump offered him some sort of menial position in his, in his cabinet? Like the ice cream czar or something would be phenomenal or something that's like somewhat legitimate. Just be like, all right, listen, Joe, you're going to just spill the beans. On all the bullshit that was going on. And I'm still going to take care of you like, just go ask your wife. She's going to be down. Believe me. I'm sure the one thing that they're going to want to be asking for is pardons. And I don't know if that was mentioned behind closed doors. I think they could probably both agree that even though it's only been really thrown on Donald Trump, they all want it to end. So I've seen some schools of thought on, on Hunter Biden, not getting a pardon. Okay. Actually, if he actually took up his case in court and won, it would actually be, it would actually set precedent for two way in general. Like the, the, the incrimination of yourself on the, the government forms and all that kind of stuff. Good angle. Yeah. It's going to be interesting to see how everything kind of shook out. They were talking about that on, on the Tim Poole show. I was like, Oh, that's actually a really good point. Interesting. Here's the news kind of looking at Donald Trump and Joe Biden. And here's what they had to say and after the first time they met in about six months and since the debate, you're the fire and there's no fucking way it's that cold and there. Thank you very much. Thank you. Politics is tough and it's, uh, many cases, not a very nice world, but it is a nice world today. And I appreciate it very much. A transition that's so smooth, it'll be as smooth as it can get and I very much appreciate that. You're welcome. Thank you all. And we're going to leave it at that because it got right to everybody yelling and screaming in their face and, and talking about, uh, all these questions and stuff. It was so funny to watch. So I mean, that was buddy Joe Biden, grouchy Joe Biden was, was, he had a lunch the day before with Kamala Harris and it was the first time they met outside of the Veterans Day services where they were ushered in by separate vehicles forced to sit with each other and then ushered out separately. They actually had a working lunch on Monday, which was probably the first time that they had even formally spoke since the election. And Joe Biden was sitting in the same chair as he was getting ready to have Kamala Harris come and sit with him for, you know, a little photo op for the press. And then somebody from the press was like, Hey, Joe Biden, how do you feel about getting the hostages out of Gaza before you leave office? And he's like, I don't know. How do you feel about that camera falling off and hitting you in the back of the head for asking questions like that? How do you, how do you feel about getting bonked in the head with a camera? And I'm just like, that's grouchy Joe Biden. Uh, but it's amazing. This was buddy Joe Biden. And you know, it was, it was good to see that for as much. Listen, a lot of people woke up 10, 11 days out of the election when this meeting happened because again, we joke about it, but Donald Trump was literally pushed out there as Hitler and a fascist and an end to democracy. Technically the world should have ended a week from last Wednesday, but it didn't. Things are looking a lot better right now as we're moving forward. And, uh, you know, it's those Democrats who Republicans are going to be able to take this narrative and run with it. All they do is lie. All they do is make up stuff. Look at how much better your life has been, uh, since literally Hitler won the White House last year or two years from now or four years from now during the next cycle. So former White House press sec, someone who Donald Trump has tabbed as milk toast, Kaylee McEnany came for a little bit of commentary on this meeting as she was working in the office of the press secretary during the first Trump administration before she was elevated to the main position, uh, to give a little take on what goes on behind the scenes of Tarrant of Trump transition. Oh, I was at CNN, God forbid, like finding the good fight, though, to be clear. Um, look, when Obama and Trump met, it was about 90 minutes, but if I were Trump, I would walk into this meeting with my eyes wide open Trump, I think was very gracious to accept the meeting. Remember Biden wanted him prosecuted according to the New York Times, called him a threat to democracy, but when he met with Obama, Obama warned him about Mike Flynn, who then was entrapped by the FBI months later. Obama warned him about the threat of North Korea, oh wait, Donald Trump made amends with North Korea, stopped the missile launches, and now what we have North Korean fighters in Ukraine. So I think Biden actually has a lot to learn from Trump at this meeting. We'll see what happens. It was gracious for Trump to accept it. You know, and Kaylee, when Donald Trump sat down with Barack Obama back in the day, the one, I remember the one thing he said in public, uh, Barack Obama was the advice to Donald Trump was when the, he looked at the reporters over there and he said, when they start yelling questions, don't answer them. Of course, Donald Trump immediately broke that and that's why we love to see him do the press conference stuff, although you did a really good point and, uh, listen, Donald Trump never walks away from him. I don't like your phone. Even if he has to walk over there and while he's walking over there and say, let me come over and give my two cents to the fake news. Yes, the fake news. That's you. Uh, get ready for all that again, but you know, again, for his bad a shape of this country is in, uh, at least figuratively burying the hatchet right now, uh, between the top two men in this country as sad as it is to say and compare Donald Trump to Joe Biden. It is the in going and outgoing president of the United States. Uh, I think it does a lot for people who outside of the biggest fans of politics is a little bit reassuring to them, and maybe a little bit confusing, but at the same time reassuring, uh, that this is happening, that they can put their differences behind them and look forward to, uh, working together in the, in the smallest of context, uh, through the transition into the next administration. Karine GPR, we'll touch in with her a couple of times as we're getting ready to see her get thrown out on her ass as well was asked about the meeting between Donald Trump and Joe Biden in the old wall. I said, although she didn't really give any context to the, uh, stake in potatoes that was probably served well done and with ketchup, um, she did talk about some of the substantial issues that were discussed during that time. Let's check it out. Okay. So today president Biden met with president elect Trump for approximately two hours in the oval office. White House chief of staff, Jeff signs an incoming chief of staff, Susie Wiles, joined lines. There you go. The meeting. It was substantive meeting and exchange of views. They discussed important national security and domestic policy issues facing the nation and the world. President Biden also raised important items on Congress's to do list for the lame duck session, including funding the government and providing the disaster supplemental funding the president requested. Finally, the president re reiterated what he said to the president elect the day after the election and to the American people in a rose garden just last week. We will have an orderly transition and a peaceful transition of power. Again, you can try and take the high road with commentary like that KGP. Everybody knows that your boss and this entire administration not only tried to throw Donald Trump and everyone connected with him and his family in prison forever, uh, your inflammatory rhetoric literally almost cost Donald Trump his life on more than one occasion. So yeah, talk about how there's not going to be any January or February six is moving forward. Just out of the other thing. Nobody cares. And everyone's happy that Donald Trump's coming home. And much like I had mentioned, I believe I touched on it twice already in the show. Donald Trump's day started with him departing Florida at about four a.m. to take the trip up to DC and meet with House Republicans. Well, I wasn't kidding when I said it ended with him and Elon Musk and Chris Machio seeing your rendition of God bless America on a stage at Mar-a-Lago early the next morning. And as we're getting ready to jump in with Congressman Eli Crane, we're going to have another check in with one of our partners, but we're going to be going out to it. What's wrong with America today is that Americans are putting convenience over values. We need to start thinking about our dollar as a vote. We need to start using those dollars to support companies that believe in our values and aren't afraid to take a stay at. That's us at BeardVec Coffee. We're not another pretend conservative company that puts a pew pew on the packaging to take a line with our principles. We don't identify as America first, we live America first. We're vet founded, vet focused and obviously period. So if you haven't had a cup of beard that, buy a bag, help us continue to support veteran charities every month. And as we always say, stay awake, not woke. Use promo code stake for 10% off your order. All right, joining us next on the show today is a big Friday edition of the stake for breakfast podcast. He's the Congressman who represents Arizona's second congressional district. Always glad to catch up with the one and only Mr. Eli Crane. Welcome back to the show. Hey, thanks for having me. Congressman, we've been looking forward to having you back on for a while and we are glad to have caught up with you, especially on the heels and in the wake of the historic landslide victory that happened across the country last week. Listen from retaining and extending probably the house majority to flipping the Senate back into Republican control and then obviously sending Donald Trump back to the White House. America spoke up. They pushed back. They rejected all of the law fair, all of the misinformation that's provided in the media. Basically the totality of the package. When you look at it as part of the Democrats messaging, obviously living under it for the last four years and have given you guys the opportunity to return to Washington DC and Capitol Hill now in some context but with the start of the 190 to really start doing some things for the American people and making America great again. Listen, for someone that doesn't kind of skirt around the issue, you know there's a lot more work to do than just winning elections here and I want to get your take on the end of the race overall for President Trump and Republicans as a whole and now as you guys have met and reconvened a little bit this week, how optimistic you are heading into the holidays before we get back and start the 119th. Yeah, I am pretty optimistic because the American people showed up. They turned out. They rejected this administration over the last four years that's brought us so many economic problems, so many national security issues as well and you know the world's been on fire since President Trump left and so I'm glad to see that. You never know how the American public is going to turn out whether they are or whether they aren't and so it was great to see that but I've been even more encouraged when I've seen some of the picks that the president has made for very key appointments. You know, before we get into that, which I do want to talk with you and extend on because I know you're looking at these and probably examine them into a great context, you talked about America showing out the popular vote victory. A lot of people who were close to President Trump, probably President Company included knew that it could happen but to see in such an amazing force the American people come out and just send a mandate to the Democrats and across this country that you know the way of the old guard, the way of things as it used to be, the way that we need to go with the flow and the way that we're told everything is okay when it really isn't, just wasn't going to be accepted anymore. No, you're right and I want to give a shout out to some of the folks that I think had just a major impact on this last election. I think Elon Musk has to be at the top of the list. You know, can't say I've agreed with Elon Musk on everything over the years but I love how, you know, he weighed into this and he risked a lot to do that. It's being the rich in the world and knowing just how Washington DC works, knowing how politics work and seeing how, you know, formidable political opponents have had the government weaponized against them in the last administration, that's something that you know that if you weighed in and you are a difference maker and you don't end up winning, your side doesn't winning, that same system can turn on you and so shout out to Elon Musk for, you know, first of all buying X or Twitter and turning it into X and maintaining lines of communication, maintaining, or I should say reopening, you know, a free speech platform that lets all sides be heard and I think that was just one of the most important thing when I look at this last election and everything that, you know, he did with that when I look at some of the activist groups like Turning Point USA, Charlie Kirk and those guys, Tyler Boyer out in Arizona and how, you know, they were laser focused on getting out the vote chasing ballots, you know, increasing voter registrations and I know that they're not the only ones but you really saw an all hands on deck effort to really, you know, turn this thing around and so, you know, I was grateful to be a small part of it but yeah, I'm excited to, I'm excited to move forward and see what we can get done. No, that's some interesting takes there and I can't agree with you more. Elon Musk had everything, you know, he risked to get into this race possibly being canceled, maybe having his security clearances revoked by the, what would be a Harris administration therefore, you know, interfering with things like SpaceX and Starlink. There were so many things that he had to, you know, risk to get into this race and to see him run it alongside Donald Trump, especially in the final stretches here, especially in the States of Pennsylvania and some of the other battlegrounds as well, you know, and then when you talk about some of the other picks that are coming in, we've seen Tulsi Gabbard, who's going to be, you know, heading up to the Department of National Intelligence, we've seen people like Pete Hedzeck, who's, you know, 20 year veteran, highly decorated, a guy did a ton of stuff, advocacy work for veterans before he got into his broadcasting career, which I think is kind of like the minimalist point there, even though the mainstream media wants to make it the only thing that he's ever done, the guy's literally a hero as well. But when you see some of these people that President Trump is starting to tap to bring into his administration and the way it's starting to shape out, I mean, even RFK Jr. already getting any, any tap to have a high ranking position that's going to help make America healthy again, it's got to be pretty good. You know, we widen the tent so much at the end of the election cycle, you had wondered at some point, maybe if everybody was going to be able to be included, but when you look at the dynamics of some of the people that President Trump is picking already, it looks like he's going to be ready to hit the ground run and even before inauguration day. Yeah, I think that's one thing that they're going to do better than they did last time. You know, and it's exciting to see, but I do want to go back to something, you know, we were talking about, you know, a second ago about Elon Musk, it's not just security clearances or risking contracts. I mean, the these folks, and I've been talking about this openly for a long time now. They have a serious totalitarian bent to them. And you saw this with President Trump. If they feel like you are a threat to their machine and their establishment, they will drum up charges against you to try and throw you in jail. And so it's so much more than, you know, those things that are very serious things for any businessman, but it's even more serious than that. And, you know, moving on to Pete Hexeth, you know, I like that pick, you know, how successful, you know, Mr. Hexeth is in his efforts to dewokify the military and just get it back on track to, you know, focusing on lethality and being the baddest military on the planet of the earth, you know, we'll see how well he does. But I like it because he's an outsider and, you know, so many of your, you know, your top generals, your top admirals, your top military officers, you know, have become yes men. And most of them have had to drink the Kool-Aid and, you know, basically do whatever they were told to get to where they're at. And I think that's awful. It's not the military of decades ago, you know, I've, and how do I know that? Because I talk to them up here. I talk to the admirals. I talk to the generals and I'll, I'll ask them, you know, when they're asking us for funding for their naval fleet or for whatever, you know, project that they want to beef up on, you know, and I'll, I'll ask them about DEI, wokeness, being a concern of many of us up here and how they're losing their focus on what the military is supposed to be about. And every single one of them will flat out deny it and tell you that it's not an issue. It's not a problem and that diversity is our strength. And you know, so it definitely, we definitely need a house cleaning in the Department of Defense and in so many other institutions, including the Department of Justice, which is why I'm so glad that President Trump picked my friend, my colleague. And I think one of the strongest, you know, patriots we have up here in Washington, D.C. though I understand, you know, he's hated by people on both sides of the aisle because of his willingness to call balls and strikes on both sides of Matt Gaetz. Yeah, we have to touch on Matt Gaetz a little bit. That's where I was going to go with next, Congressman, you know, a great friend of the show here has been for many years. Someone that you worked very closely with in Congress as well, obviously one of your great friends. And I mean, listen, the complimentary nature that you introduced him right there that comes. Listen, we take it with not a grain of salt, but as a huge compliment because, you know, you have an extensive background in the military. You've actually seen the worst of the worst. And when you went up to Washington, D.C., the one thing that you had said over the years of coming on the show is you're looking for fighters to fight along with and you're looking for fighters to get the job done that the American people expect of you guys. And one of the people that you've, you know, worked very well with is Congressman Gaetz. And we are really excited for his nomination and eventually going to be the Attorney General of the United States. We've seen a lot of people coping in season in the media over the course of the last week, but whether it's going to be through regular confirmation or recess appointment or, you know, acting Attorney General, Matt Gaetz is eventually going to be the Attorney General of the United States. We're really excited for that. Talk about the reform at the DOJ and FBI though. You had mentioned it with Elon Musk when you go outside of the narrative and you have a big enough voice to pop up on the radar, the radical left will come up to you in every way, shape or form, not just going after your finances or your family, but maybe even your freedoms as well with the eventuality being putting you in prison. And when you look at the, you know, law fairs and wages against so many conservatives probably and obviously the most prominent one of Donald Trump over the past couple of years, but you know, it's been extended out to several others as well. We've even seen Democrats who have gone against the throne like New York City Mayor Eric Adams, you know, get under investigation after he said the migrant crisis was too out of control and unaffordable in places like New York right now. Yeah, well, the DOJ has been a problem, you know, for a while and you need look no further than, you know, this last presidential race where the left was scared to death that Donald Trump decided not to go back to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, you know, live the life of a billionaire, which he easily could have done. He decided to come back risking everything. His fortune risking his businesses, risking going to jail for over 750 years, risking his life. I mean, there were two assassination attempts on him. And the DOJ was weaponized against the president, you know, many of the charges they brought against him, they could have brought against him a long time ago, but they chose to bring many of these trumped up charges against the president because he was once again threatening to come back in and drain the swamp and to do what he said he was going to do. And they're scared to death in this town of changing anything. And so going back to, you know, what I've said since I've come on this show, there's a lot of smart people in Washington, DC. There's a lot of people with amazing resumes up here. That's not the problem. The problem is is that nobody in this town wants to change anything because of, you know, their influences and the fact that they don't prioritize the American people, right? And so when you look at a guy like Matt Gates, you know, I fully understand that, you know, Matt Gates is in a choir boy, neither is President Trump, but the American people are tired of, you know, people with great resumes who are very intelligent, who just do what they're told and are afraid to rock the boat and change anything up here. And that is one thing that Matt Gates has shown us time and time again, just like Donald Trump has, that he's most certainly willing to rock the boat, you know, and to try and do everything he can to change the way this town works. No, it's the truth. And we've seen it for many years, whether it's legislating or, you know, reading directive on the house floor, all the way up through the committee work that we've covered extensively here for both you and Congressman Gates over the years. Listen, we caught up with, you know, I didn't know how to introduce him and before we jumped in today, I said, would your excellency be an appropriate title to give you? It's going to be our incoming borders are Tom Holman. He joined us for an extensive interview, went deep into the weeds and all the things he's looking to do and the fact how excited he is to get back to work for the American people come January of next year. You can bind that with Christie Noem, who's been, you know, not a governor of a border state, but someone who's worked in Congress and understands the problem with the immigration system. In addition to all the support she's lent to states like Arizona and Texas over the years with her National Guard with going down there physically and being a huge border advocate as well. It looks like when you're getting to the start of the problems, I mean, you, you were one of the biggest people out there championing HR to in the last session of Congress of what we need to tackle on day one, one of the top two items of the economy and obviously the border that Donald Trump campaigned on. How are you kind of taking a look at the hires that are going on here with Tom Holman and Christie Noem and how excited you are to get back to work on really getting this border safe and secure before you guys can start to tackle the immigration issue in the next session of Congress. Yeah. No, I'm extremely excited about Tom Holman. You know, going back to what I keep harping on, you know, the guy has courage. I've seen him go after people in committee hearings. You know, you can often tell by, you know, you know, how these guys talk, how they address people, what they're focused on, Tom Holman is very serious and he doesn't back down and he doesn't, you know, he doesn't allow himself to be cowed by, you know, the mainstream media up here, the establishment, he just, he, he's laser focused on protecting the American people and providing real border security. And so I love that pick. I don't know Governor Christie Noem as well. So I won't speak, I won't speak on that, you know, but I wish it the best. And you know, I do, I do think we're going to need people that have run states, people that, you know, because the border and DHS, it's a very big department. It's got a lot of moving parts. So I think that executive experience is really going to help her out. But let's also not forget Stephen Miller in the, in the White House who has been behind much of President Trump's, you know, strategy when it comes to, you know, border security and immigration, who's also there, who is definitely a border hawk. And I think that's going to, you know, really help the president drive this agenda to not only secure the border, but actually deport people who are very dangerous to the American populace that are here right now. No, no, that's an excellent point you made Congressman, you know, I thought it was a perfect compliment to Suzy Wiles, someone who's been very good with President Trump out on the campaign trail, keeping him insulated from people that don't want to be there. You've got an outsider who knows how the game outside the beltway works. Then you bring in Stephen Miller, who was a critical component, especially in trade and immigration during the last part of the administration. I think they're going to be perfectly complimenting each other as the Chief of Staff and Deputy Chief of Staff to President Trump in the 47 White House moving forward. Last thing I want to touch with you on, and sticking in the threat of President Trump, he was in DC this week, met with Joe Biden, but before he did, he came over and kind of talked before House Republicans briefly. You guys were all in conference and getting ready to welcome 47 back to Washington, DC. Listen, it doesn't look like you're going to have an issue, at least in the beginning part of conference when you guys get in in the early part of January of next year, in regard to the speakership. It looks like everybody's going to be behind Mike Johnson now with control of the Senate and Donald Trump returning to the White House. We might get to see the Mike Johnson that a lot of House Republicans came and defended him on as over the course of the last session, even though, you know, with the Democrats in control of the Senate and Joe Biden in the White House, it was really hard to get the job done, and then he had to get done leading into the end of this session. But what are you most excited to be working on, and give us a little preview of 119th of things that you guys outside of border security need to kind of tackle in day one, and then tell our listenership a little bit about the messaging that President Trump had before you. I'll be it briefly before he went over to the White House to met with President Biden. Yeah, you know, it was great to see the president come, you know, and address the Republican conference this last week. You know, he went over, you know, his agenda. You know, he told us that, you know, Mike Johnson was his guy, kind of an endorsement of Mike Johnson. Look, I've been critical of Mike Johnson in the past to him personally and also publicly. That being said, I do want the president to take the field with the people that he wants in the game and on his team and, you know, I trust him. So I want him, I'm going to get behind Mike Johnson if that's who the president wants. And, you know, one of the things I'm most excited about, Ron, is when I look at what Elon Musk and Vivek Ramiswami are going to be doing as far as the fraud, waste and abuse in the government and really shining a light on, you know, things that many of us have been trying to reform for a long time when it comes to spending appropriations and, you know, just the out of control spending up here in Washington, D.C. And I think that's important because a lot of these, what I watch a lot of members do is they sit here and they talk about these things, whether it's overspending or inflation. And then I see him turn around the next day and I see him vote for this stuff. And so when you got a guy like Elon Musk who doesn't play around, the guy is straight, no nonsense, he's all about business. And he knows, his goal is to cut like a trillion dollars from the budget every single year. Those are serious cuts, very serious cuts. You weren't even able to cut $115 billion this last cycle because, you know, Republicans were too afraid to go along with it, Democrats didn't want to do it, and Joe Biden didn't want to do it. But when you have no excuses because you have the House, you have the Senate, you have the executive branch, and then you have a guy like Elon Musk and Vivek who are going to be looking at these things, advising the president on what we can cut, where we can cut. But Elon, here's the other thing that I don't think a lot of people are paying attention. Elon has already said that he's willing to fund primary challenges to anybody who gets in the way of President Trump's agenda. And so not only can he use his megaphone on X to call out people who, you know, are gaslighting the American people, say that they want to cut inflation, but then won't cut any spending, which a lot, unfortunately, that's a lot of the Republican Party. So not only will he be able to call him out and expose him, but then he'll also be able to, you know, help us out with funding primary challenges. So I think that that's something very, that's going to be a very interesting dynamic come this next Congress. And it might actually help us finally get some cuts up here to the radical out of control spending in Washington. No, I mean, that's it. You've been binding on it for so long. We've seen so many other people come in here just with the receipts of how big the wasteful spending is, how hypocritical some people are in context. Like you say, they'll bring out the wheelbarrow and say, this is the budget. This is all the stuff we can take out of it. This is ridiculous. It shouldn't be passed. And then when it goes to the final vote, they'll cast it into, you know, the ether and let it become law or the next budget or the next CR or the next omnibus and people like Elon Musk, Vivek Ramaswami, I mean, even when you talk about outside of the doge, he's going to be expanding his America pack outside of the state of Pennsylvania to all the battlegrounds and as early for the upcoming midterm elections, which comes quite when we will talk about it at a different time with you. Listen, Congressman, anytime we can catch up with you, it's a big win for our listenership. We understand how busy you are.
