(upbeat music) - Let's thank you. - Oh, I'm the fastest, so stand by. - All right, everybody, welcome back to the State for Records podcast. I'm Ro Noah's here with me. - Yo. - If you're a first-time listener, welcome to the show. If you're a long-time listener, welcome back to America's Fastest Growing. And quickly becoming favorite political podcast on a busy news Tuesday. Constantly, if you're listening to this episode on the podcast first, we'll see you in a bit. Press pause, go back and check out episode 488. We hosted the one and only, Roger Stone and Texas Congressman, Pat Fallon. We said goodbye to the coping and seething, still happening within the Democrat party following the wake of the historic presidential election last week, and then started to look about how some of the focus and emphasis is heading back towards Capitol Hill as everyone is reconvening today, and we're gonna have a leadership vote in the upper chamber tomorrow for Senate majority leader. We're gonna be jumping into today's episode in the second edition of "Stake for Breakfast." Taking a big focus on the incoming administration and how it's starting to materialize with picks coming out nearly by the hour now. We've already touched on it a bit in our first edition of the podcast today. We've seen Florida Senator Marco Rubio tap to be the Secretary of State, former New York Congressman and gubernatorial candidate in the Empire State, Lee Zeldin, who's gonna head the EPA. Tom Holman's gonna be the borders are, Christy Gnome, DHS Secretary. Obviously we touched on Friday's edition of the show, the selection of Susie Wiles, his White House Chief of Staff, Stephen Miller's gonna be brought in as a top White House surrogate as well. So we're gonna take a look at all this and start to break it down for you guys. First new segment is gonna be on a multitude of the picks. The second new segment is going to be heavily emphasizing the selection of Tom Holman who we feel up to this point is the crown jewel of the incoming administration. We're also gonna be sitting down with a couple great guests, Arizona Congressman Andy Biggs, Mr. America First himself, representing Arizona's fighting fifth congressional district will be joining us at the end of this segment. And we'll wrap up today's edition of the podcast with a constitutional attorney, someone who's looking to do work both inside and outside of the Beltway in the incoming Trump administration. That's none other than Jesse Binall. So great lineup, lots of news, but not really. And remember, we sit just now 69, yes, there I said it. 69 days until inauguration day, Noah, how do you feel about that? - I'm very interested to see what happens between now and then. - The scorecards are starting to come out for the selections that Donald Trump is making regarding his incoming administration and so far, so good. One that I won't forget as well, great guests to the show, couldn't be happier for it. Noah, we talked about this, both when we've had her on multiple times and in commentary that we've provided on the show, the incoming UN ambassador from the United States is gonna be New York Congresswoman, conference chairwoman, Elise Stefanik. What a pickup, I like it, and we like her. But let's hear about how some of the media is talking about the starting of the formulation of the incoming Trump administration. Let's check it out. - I actually think the transition's gotten off to a great start. I think that Tom Holman is not selected because of association with Project 2025. He's a career ice agent. I think he's the perfect pick for this. And whether Democrat is like it or not, the reality is the border security was a top issue for the American people in selection and has been because the Biden-Harris failures on that issue. And so I think he's the perfect pick. And Stephen, I get can be polarized in the media, but Stephen has been with Donald Trump since 2015. He was the very first person he can hope picks on that campaign. There's nobody who was stuck with Donald Trump longer, and it's been more loyal to the president than Stephen. And so I think that I think those are natural picks. And I think I'm encouraged by Lee Zeldin, Elise Stefanik as well. I think it's so far, it's been off to a great start for him. - And again, Stephen Miller has been tapped to be the deputy chief of staff for the incoming Trump administration. And that means he'll be reporting not only directed to Donald Trump, but to Susie Wiles and working alongside both of them, which I think is awesome. Because Susie, who ran what a lot of people are armchair quarterbacking as was nearly a perfect campaign in Donald Trump's big win last Tuesday, you now have someone that's a beltway outsider coming in to be Donald Trump's chief of staff in Susie, with someone who was there for the entirety of the first administration working on policy, both having to do with the border and trade, combating the cartels and China and Stephen Miller. And I think those two will perfectly compliment each other. They are both people that make sure that Donald Trump is 100% insulated from those who don't need to be around him as well. We saw that on the campaign. We see all of them coping and seething online right now. And I would only expect more of the same once the official presidency of Donald Trump kicks off on January 20th of next year. So as Democrats continue to look in the mirror and look for leadership, they're not gonna get it from members of the squad, but that doesn't mean that they aren't gonna go out there and talk about all the things that Donald Trump and his incoming administration isn't. I saw yesterday polarizing congresswoman, Jayapal from Minnesota was out there. And she was doing exactly what people on the radical left tend to do. They want to not explain anything policy-wise that was in regards to the failure they don't wanna talk about anything related to how they need to go back to the drawing board and start reworking some things in regards to how they're going to try and repair the bridges they've burnt with the American people, especially the middle class. No, they're gonna go out there and do all the same thing that they've always done. And they're going to reject, project, and deflect onto Republicans, including those being picked to work in the next Trump administration. Let's hear her. - Chair Jayapal, I just wanted to get your reaction. Obviously, we've seen the president elect name a number of people to his new administration from your GOP colleague, Elise Stefanik, to US ambassador to the United Nations, Stephen Miller, deputy chief of policy, and also Tom Holman, who he's named as a border czar. I just wanna get your specific reaction to those picks. You know, you said that you would serve as a check on the incoming Trump administration. So what do these picks say to you and what will your strategy be? - Well, look, I think the election results made clear. This is gonna be a very challenging time. Stephen Miller and Tom Holman were the architects of a lot of the first Trump administration horrific immigration policies. And so family separation, mass detentions, those kinds of things is what was promised. And by the Trump administration, and I think what we're gonna have to fight. So I think we're gonna continue to see a number of people that have disturbing histories being appointed to many of these positions. We're gonna have to figure out how we fight that best. This is not a first Trump term. This is a second Trump term. And I take some, they're both positives and negatives with that. I think we have fought this before to the point where we elected a new president in 2020. We did not elect Donald Trump. At the same time, this is many fewer restrictions with the kind of electoral majority that he won. And so I think we're in that discernment process. We'll have to figure out exactly what this looks like. And obviously he's gonna continue to name people to these positions who have been architects of Trump's project 2025 agenda. Shut up, bitch. - There's project 2025 again. I misspoke when I said Minnesota, I just kind of all lumped them into one category. She's the congresswoman from Washington's seventh congressional district and my goodness. Again, she goes out there and talks about how it was a tough election. They lead in with saying, you know, there was like, mists, diss, and mal information, which led to the rise of Donald Trump. She also tries to kind of take a pot shot at him saying there are puzzles and negatives with this being his term in office, it being his last term in office, et cetera. But here's the deal. They really don't have anything to stand on, especially a leg right now. And the fact of the matter is, is that they're going to continue to use this rhetoric. But again, behind closed doors, it is nothing but finger pointing and damage control and knives out and whether it's Pelosi, Schumer, the Obamas, the Bidens. They don't know where to place the blame. And again, when you talk about a presidential legacy, Joe Biden will go down to someone who was a, I would say like a six out of 10 on the legislative juggernaut list. He was able to get things done biparticently much to our chagrin because of Kevin McCarthy, the former speaker of the house. But do they want, you open up so many doors to how Joe Biden is still the president, even with his diminished mental and physical acuity, when you point the blame where it solely should be. So I mean, you've seen them kind of lead in with that stuff, but then segue away, always going back to going after Donald Trump. And obviously the people that he's picking to be in his administration, but if they don't change course soon, as soon as we hit the ground running in January, this will start to negatively affect the outcome for them, the Democrats in the 2026 midterm elections. So Fox News made the announcement Monday morning regarding Elise Stefanik. I saw the clip and wanted to pull it, check it out. - Ice Trump also shared this news with the New York Post last night. Trump told the Post I am honored to nominate chairwoman Elise Stefanik to serve in my cabinet as US ambassador to the United Nations. Elise is an incredibly strong, tough and smart America first fighter. The House Republican Conference chair is one of Trump's biggest supporters. In a statement to the Post, Stefanik said she accepts the nomination and looks forward to earning support in the Senate. In this post on X, Trump calls for Reese's appointments. This refers to the president's ability to fill federal vacancies while the Senate is in recess. The top contenders to replace Mitch McConnell are getting in line. South Dakota Senator John Foon says we must act quickly and decisively to get the president's cabinet and other nominees in place as soon as possible to start delivering on the mandate we've been sent to execute and all options around the table to make that happen, including Reese's appointments. Again, everybody's saying the right things right now, but we don't know how this will materialize into real time until the votes are done and the leaders are in place, especially when it comes to the Senate. Now, in talking about Elise Stefanik vacating her chair and her House seat for New York's 21st congressional district, remember, albeit it will be a Republican. We are going to see a appointment made for that seat by current Democrat progressive psychopath, Kathy Holchle in the Empire State. In addition, that now leaves a leadership gap and an open place in the House of Representatives currently chaired by Elise Stefanik, which moving forward will have to be voted on. Now, I believe it's Florida Congresswoman, Pat Cameronk, and one of our great friends of the show, Indiana Congresswoman, Erin Houchin, are both going to be two of the House of Representatives that are going to be vying for that spot. You know, I just didn't say it because we like hosting her on the show last time she was on last week following the election with Congresswoman Houchin, that she's a rising star within the party. If you look at the work she's done within the committees that she's been on over the course of the last session of Congress, in addition to how we have positive feedback from a lot of the more longer-term that are established Republicans in the House of Representatives in talking about her when we mentioned that she was on the show or she appears in a different interview segment than some of the other Congresspeople who come on. I think that would be a good candidacy right there. And even if she falls short of gaining the Republican House Conference chairwoman ship, replacing Elise Stefanik, just having her name in the conversation, I think says a lot about the future that she has within the party. Oh, what do you think? We love when Rep Houchin comes on the show. She pretty much breaks it down for us. You know, she's even so much so kind of laid out the way, even though she represents an overwhelmingly rural part of Indiana, how the migrant crisis has been clearly something that's defined the plight of her constituents in addition to pushing back and committee work a lot of the stuff of the Biden-Harris regime. Yeah, I mean, she's got a solid handle and everything that's going on, and especially somebody that is being directly affected by the stuff that's going on at the border. It's just a good person to have in your ear, I guess. Yeah, so to speak. And we've got such a great relationship with her and her team. I would only expect much like in the same way of chairwoman Stefanik, who has become a pretty good reoccurring guest on this show whenever she has time. Their staff always reaches out to us and be like, "Hey, we know you guys are always sending media requests "for us, she's gonna be in district, out of district. "We're having a little bit of downtime, "she'd like to come on the show." 'Cause when she comes on, she just doesn't come on for the standard, you know, 12 to 15 minute long form interview. We usually get around a half hour every time we have Elise on, and she likes to talk about not just the stuff that's going on in the beltway, but like, you know, the border crisis on the northern border during this administration is getting as just as bad as it is down on the south with people pouring in, a lot more with ties to terrorism and international malfeasance. That, you know, it's good when we can have people on the show like that, if they could shed a little light on it, but that normally doesn't get played in the mainstream media. So it's gonna be interesting to see how that kind of unfolds over the course of the next couple of weeks as well. You'll never miss out on all the great stuff we've got going on down here at stake for breakfast, like our incoming interview with Arizona Congressman, Andy Biggs following the end of this new segment. So Stephen Miller, deputy cheapest staff, working with Susie and for President Trump in the upcoming administration, great. Last time we heard Stephen outside of a couple media hits where he was talking about things ramping up towards the presidential election was his epic speech just two weeks ago at Madison Square Garden. Let's hear a brief segment. - I want you to think for a minute about the decades of abuse that has been heaped upon the good people of this nation. Their jobs looted and stolen from them and shipped to Mexico, Asia, and foreign countries. The lives of their loved ones ripped away from them by illegal aliens, criminal gangs, and thugs who don't belong in this country. I'm not just saying that, you've read the stories, it happens every day. You read one of these heartbreaking headlines, who's gonna stand up for our daughters, who's gonna stand up for the girls of America, the women of America, the families of America, who's gonna stand up and say, the cartels are gone, the criminal migrants are gone, the gangs are gone, America is for Americans and Americans only. Listen, you want somebody like that in your corner. - Yeah. - I don't know how else to frame it. The passion, the enthusiasm, the hard work and dedication that Steven Miller brings back to this team. I was trying to figure out in my head where a kid he best served as an agency head, could he best be served as, you know, an assistant to a cabinet secretary. Being in the direct Oval Office staff is probably the best, because listen, he will be a measuring stick, and he will be a thermometer for every single person that comes into that office and tries to tell Donald Trump, we need to do, fill in the blank, X, Y, Z. And he understands, after stumping about it for the last four years and watching this current administration destroy this country, exactly what we need to do to get it back on the right track. So, there's that. But then there's also some of our America first favorites out there, like former New York Congressman Lee Zeldin, who we knew Donald Trump was gonna tap. I couldn't think, you know, what would be the best fit for him. As I saw some of these picks kind of filing out over the weekend, but when I heard he was going to head to EPA, and how he knows the destruction of the bureaucratic red tape is a major component in making America energy dominant again. It's such an important thing that Donald Trump campaigned on and wants to see done in just a very short amount of time, which is going to be a tall task. Here's him on Fox News yesterday, talking about his excitement level for the next four years. Let's check it out. - So, how does that translate? Translate that to me for day one actions from the EPA. So day one and the first 100 days, we have the opportunity to roll back regulations that are forcing businesses to be able to struggle. They're forced to cut costs internally. They are moving overseas altogether, to be able to bolster liquidity in the American economy, where businesses strive to grow, expand here, and have the ability to export what they produce as opposed to exporting their jobs in the company, the companies themselves. There are regulations that the left wing of this country have been advocating through regulatory power that ends up causing businesses to go in the wrong direction. And President Trump, when he called me up, gosh, he was rattling off 15, 20 different priorities, clear focus, he wasn't reading off of some sheet. It's the top of his head. And if I challenged him to give me 50 more ideas of what to do with this agency to improve the economy, I'm confident he would have done that. So advancing America first policies is one of the reasons why President Trump got elected. We have to make America great again. And often when he talks about that, at the end of his rally speeches, he was also talking about making our country prosperous again. And it's something that he deeply believes in. This is gonna be a great four years for America. It's not just about a great day one, or a great first 100 days. I have a feeling that we're on the verge of what could be the greatest four years we've ever seen of any president in the White House. - So I like to hear, "No, I see you smiling over there on the other end." - Yeah, it's gonna be the greatest. - And in all reality, if we can make this work, and everything goes well, and you gotta figure this is the last Trump term, whoever's next, probably Jay to Vance, can see that we could have eight years. - It's the truth. - And that's 12 years of prosperity in the country. - Yep, yep. No, it's a great point you make, though, because I'll be honest with you here. We already talked about the Vic Rumswamy. Obviously, Jay to Vance, who's gonna be probably the America first choice out of the gates for the 2028 presidency. We're not gonna be looking too far down the road because much as the case was, after Donald Trump was pushed out by the Biden regime in 2020, we don't wanna get ahead of ourselves as once he made it official in November of 2022. We saw who had been pandering and slithering over towards all of these other candidates who were so much less desirable than Donald Trump ever was gonna be. And how they've come crawling back over the course of the end of this election cycle now. But I mean, you wanna talk about someone that's got a lot of political capital for the great work he's done in New York, his previous service in Congress, what he's done as a consultant throughout the course of his time since losing the gubernatorial race in the Empire State in 2022. Congressman Lee Zilden brings a lot to the table. Now, as far as how it would resonate to him retail, politicking, you know, kind of on the rally, certain stuff like that. I don't know if he'd be able to fill arenas, like we've already seen JD Vance kind of do it. The vague Rama Swami is kind of a mega darling. It seems like he gets people to come out and see him. I think Lee Zilden would be someone who's definitely gotta be in the mix. Maybe if not at the presidential level, maybe for the vice presidency, along with JD Vance in 2028, we'll just have to see how it works out. But really couldn't be happier that he's gonna be serving in this administration and doing it in a way that's going to have major influence over achieving a lot of the policies that Donald Trump wants to see benefit this country. And I think that's really important. So I think we'll continue to track that. And I think Congressman Zilden, soon to be Secretary Zilden, is gonna be doing some absolutely phenomenal work for America versus he kind of laid out there. Not just in the transition period or over the course of the first hundred days, but for the entirety of the four years of Donald Trump and hopefully beyond. So nobody makes me get excited for a pick. And this is outside of Tom Holman. Then when the radical left has a meltdown about it. I saw Randy Matt out last night or it could have been Mark Cuban filling in for her. They look exactly the same now. Was leading in with her show, which is again only broadcast on Monday's, thank God. Have an absolute meltdown about who is going to be the next director of the National Security Apparatus. And that's going to be current Florida Congressman Mike Waltz. Listen, again, a lot of people out there, oh, Waltz has at some point stood up for Ukraine or standing up to Russia or has had neocons tendencies throughout the years. Again, people who got into politics, especially post service time, as we all know, Congressman Waltz is a retired green beret, former combat veteran, special forces, all that stuff. You went into politics going off of what the leaders of the parties represented and at a time of the bushes and the McCain's and the Romney's and the Cheney's, et cetera. This is what Republicans were. Take it with a grain of salt and understand that not only was the loyalty slate wiped clean at the beginning of this election cycle, you should also take it with an agenda slate being wiped clean as well. If Donald Trump is tapping these people, that means they have gone through extensive vetting and face-to-face meetings to where they ideologically line up with what Donald Trump wants to do through his four years in office, not reverse. So until they show us otherwise, we should have faith in the people he's picking, much like we had faith in the decisions he was making out on the campaign trail leading up to his historic election last week. As promised, here's Randy Maddow or Mark Cuban melting down last night on "They Dare Show" about Congressman Walts. - Did learn for sure this evening that Trump is choosing for his national security advisor, another Republican member of Congress, Congressman Mike Walts of Florida. After Congressman Walts helped in the effort to try to overthrow the U.S. government and keep Trump in power after he lost re-election in 2020, you might remember, this was an amazing Florida story, you might remember a very unusual apology being published by Congressman Walts's hometown paper, the Orlando Sentinel. It was an apology to their readers for having endorsed Mike Walts for re-election. They apologized for having endorsed him after he tried to help Trump overthrow the government. Mike Walts has also distinguished himself by claiming that Trump was not responsible for January 6th. He also has proposed that Delis Airport should be renamed Trump Airport. - Winning. - So clearly, Congressman Mike Walts has checked all the boxes that he needs to be national security advisor in the second Trump presidential term. - You are a nasty person. - Yeah, oh boy. Again, saying that now his agency head picks R&D to threats of democracy is exactly where you want the radical left when it comes to the people that Donald Trump are choosing because, well, you know he's making the right choice then. I did see, and listen, we're not gonna hear any of never Trump or Neil Cavuto's commentary, but Congressman Walts did jump on with him yesterday and talk about, here's the deal, the Department of Defense, the State Department, and especially the Pentagon. They need major reform. Like, I posted something about my excitement level with Congressman Walts' pick yesterday, and the first comment in our post on X, if you know you know, anyone at level GS13 or higher should be immediately fired. That is the kind of reform that we are looking for. And it's the truth, and then again, as you heard in our first edition of the podcast today, when we caught up with Representative Fallon, guess what one of the things being talked about heavily in the Republican Conference and behind closed doors over these Zoom calls that they're having while they were off the hill and getting ready to reconvene today, making sure that we make schedule F great again, that if you're one of these career, bureaucratic, slept your way, or DEI'd your way, or whatever you're weighed up to the top of the chain so that now you're influencing or negatively affecting policy and mandate from a sitting president, you're giving a banker's box, and you're walked out the door. Period. So get ready for the whole schedule F debate to come back again as a, a lot of the unions within the federal agencies, coping season, whenever that comes, because guess what? The one thing we don't have within this government right now, outside of its ridiculous spending, and completely inflated size, is any accountability for anything that happens. And that's what Donald Trump wants to do. He'll have four to 10,000 people ready to work on day one. He's also going to be getting ready to fire close to 100,000 of others. So buckle up, and let's hear from Congressman soon to be Director Mike Waltz. I think regardless of who he puts in, we need real reform in the Pentagon. Everything they buy seemingly costs twice as much, delivers half as much and takes twice as long as it should. And the soldiers, sailors, Marines, airmen, they deserve better. And we need to get a culture of accountability into that place. No one ever seems to get fired with these massive cost overruns, massive waste. People were just circulating a video of a hearing I had where I held up a bag of bolts that cost $90,000 for the Air Force to buy. It's a couple hundred bucks in a hardware store. So things got to change. We don't need managers there. We need reformers. But the president's got to make a great pick. And Governor Berger made a great point. There's a lot of folks who are incredibly talented and qualified that are ready to serve an America-first agenda. Again, he mentioned current Governor Doug Bergham. Can't wait to see what he's going to be doing in the next administration. There's a lot of people left out there where we're looking to see how Ben Carson is going to be worked into this administration as we know he's getting ready to serve. There's been talks about another great guest on the show here, Kelly Lawfler, who was a huge advocate for the state of Georgia, was responsible for the lot of the reconnecting that happened between Governor Kemp and Donald Trump down the stretch of the presidential election cycle, who's looking to be involved in this administration. And the names go on and on. The list for us is endless. We have a deep bench on America first. And remember, every time we lose one of these congressmen and women, especially in red states, they're going to be filled with people who are going to be able to do the job. And I really can't emphasize enough the fact that while it seems like it's very busy right now, understand that it is, but the busyness level you want to be up at all time pastes because we're stoked for getting back and working for the American First Agenda again in just a few short months, 69 days to be exact. So we'll leave it at that as we're getting ready to jump in and follow up on a lot of this stuff with congressmen Andy Biggs. But before we do, have it another check-in with one of our partners. It's an unpleasant truth that 42% of Americans are obese and 79% of Americans are overweight. Make America healthy again. - All right, joining us next on the show today to speak Tuesday edition of the State for Breakfast podcast. He's the congressman who represents Arizona's fifth congressional district and we're glad to be catching up after a little bit of a time apart but after a big house victory last Tuesday. Congressman Andy Biggs, welcome back to the show. - Thanks for going good to be with you. Thanks for having me. - Always a pleasure, sir. Again, congratulations on the big win in your district last week. More importantly for Republicans in the House conference as you guys retain the majority, one of the big three that we needed as part of the equation to win this election. We obviously flipped control of the Senate back into Republican control and got Donald Trump heading back to the White House in January of next year. Listen, there's a lot on the docket but I would do you wanna just take one final victory lap around this race right here. Why don't you just talk about how this kind of materialized in your district and seem to spread around nationally as Donald Trump was able to claim the state of Arizona back into the win column as well? - Yeah, it's really been dynamic. I will say this, President Trump worked very hard. His surrogates worked very hard. We had JD Vance out there. It seemed like every time I turned around, JD Vance was there campaigning. It was important that President Trump win my district by a pretty good size because mine's a solid red district and he did very well there. We're still trying to sort through the numbers but he also won in some places that were impressive. Other places within Maricopa County which is, as you know, is the biggest county by far in Arizona, he did very well there and that was awesome. And I'll tell you Roan, what's interesting too is if you look at it, the Trump won magnificently but Kamala Harris didn't even get as many votes as say Ruben Gaig with the guy, the Democrat running for US Senate out of Arizona. - Correct. - But there's gonna turn it around really hard. I will say, I'll commend the state party had, worked very hard, Gina Swabota but every member of Congress were, most of my efforts like I was out of the state now and then for candidates but most of my efforts was going around the state and we were all around the state so often in so many places in that six months and six weeks before the election. So I think it was a total team effort Roan and that's, you know, you had the border, you take the border, you take the economy, you add those in together and Arizona has seen this thing right up close and we knew exactly the difference between Donald Trump and the Kamala Harris Biden regime. So sure, yeah, it was great, great win. - No, you make some excellent points there and while we're, you know, we were examining a lot of Republicans who were traveling around the country, you guys did a lot of work in the state of Arizona, according to your social media, as you guys were out talking to the people and each other's district and Arizona is gonna be well represented in this upcoming session of Congress coming in January which is kind of where I wanna segue to. Now you guys are seeing some of the growing pains that happen when power is retained or flipped as it's going on in the upper chamber right now. They're having a little bit of their leadership growing pains that we'll see, you know, what the result of that's gonna be over the course of the next 24 to 48 hours but in the House of Representatives, I mean, you guys are pretty much bringing back the entire squad from last year and a couple new fresh faces that are gonna be helping out the America First Movement. You guys already went through some pretty dynamic pieces of legislation in this session that, you know, obviously we're tabled in the Senate but obviously we're gonna be going back to revisit as well. When you guys are talking about the work ahead schedule right now, closing out strong here and then heading into the break before coming back in January, what's the mood like and what's it like in a Republican conference right now? When you guys are talking about, you know, the legislative agenda that's gonna have to get pushed those first 100 days of President Trump's presidency are going to be critical to get in this country back on the right track. - Well, I can tell you what I've told the speaker, Mike Johnson, should he become the speaker again? I said, look, in my opinion, you better have a bunch of legislation ready to go on January 20th. So we get sworn in on the third, President Trump gets sworn in on the 20th. And I said, we better have legislation ready to go. So he is signing legislation on the key things that I think the American people really want done. They want stuff done on the border. And so we need to have that ready. We need to have stuff ready on energy policy, open up the Keystone XL pipeline again, open up Ann-Mar, make sure we're developing that 'cause costs will come down. Get us out of the World Health Organization, stabilize the international situation. No more money for Ukraine. No more money for endless wars. You know, I told him, I said this, I don't think you should think small going in to start. I think you should think big and do as much as you possibly can. And there's some procedural constraints on us, but let's go ahead and be ready so we can deal with those constraints and get stuff, so the American people can see us moving right away. The President Trump can see us moving right away. And then we can get that stuff over to the Senate right away. And, you know, Ron, there is some spending issues. There's some lame duck issues we're gonna have to deal with. None of them good because you still gonna have to have Biden. You still have a Democrat controlled Senate and a very thin majority in the House. So we gotta get through that stuff too. But I'm a big believer that you have to take care of your reconciliation package, which is how we can do this. And you do as big a reconciliation package as you possibly can, as quickly as you can. I don't want to lose the faith in the American people. And I don't want them, I don't want us to have another result like 2016 where you had leadership that kind of threw down speed sticks to Donald Trump's agenda everywhere we turned. Let's go pedal to the metal. - Well, you know, that's the follow-up question I was looking to ask and you opened up the door to let me come out and do it right now. So, you know, Congressman, we have a lot of members of the Republican Conference here on the show. A lot of the America first ones that went out and not only did a good job across the country like yourself did, but in their own district as well and supported Donald Trump running up to this election. You know, from what I hear, and I was kind of pleased to hear it about a possible speakership battle or anything like that, they said, you want to know what? We tabbed Mike Johnson back in the day when Kevin McCarthy was, you know, removed a speaker of the House as the most conservative man to ever wield the gavel. Does that mean he's the most conservative House Republican ever to be a Congressman? No, it doesn't. But are we going to get to see that Mike Johnson with now the majority in both chambers and Donald Trump going back to the White House? Is it, are you optimistic about that as you guys are going to draft and push legislation for him to be able to get up to the Senate and as fast a motion as possible? Is this something that we're going to finally see like maybe a Mike Johnson unleashed? - Man, I hope so, Ron. I tell you what, I personally think that we've already missed an opportunity. This is me. I think we should have had people from what they call the five families, which is basically all areas, all factions within the House Republican Conference. I think we should have been meeting Saturday and Sunday. I think we should have been working out whatever differences we may have. I think we should have been laying the groundwork and foundation. And I think we really missed an opportunity there. And so I hope that if it is Mike Johnson, that I hope that he's laying the lumber to get this done this weekend, you know? Let's go ahead and let's get this stuff done and get it ready because this dilly dallying around, this, I just don't understand it to be frank with you. It's time to actually, and you said, are we going to see a reinvigorated Mike Johnson? I don't know. I don't know, I'm hoping so. - No, that's a good point. And you do have to look at the writing on the wall. It is the mandate, not just the electoral landslide that Donald Trump won, but the popular. Majority of America is expecting Donald Trump to have a successful second term. And that starts and ends with Congress having his back and doing the job that their constituents have sent them up to the Hill to do. I want to switch gears a little bit, Congressman, but still talk about the overall encompassing of what's going to be going on in DC there over the course of the next couple of years. How exciting is it to have potentially people coming into the government right now? Outside of originally the MAGA 10 who are now America First, people like possibly Tulsi Gabbard, RFK Jr. I mean, Elon Musk probably isn't going to be a government employee, but he's going to do things running alongside the federal government because of his ownership and things like Tesla and SpaceX. Listen, the Good House Republicans, the ones in the America First delegation, all they want to do is cut that spending. They want to shrink big government. They want to have the government working the way. It should be for the American people. I want to see a lot of deregulations and a lot more prosperous times coming for this country. So when you see all of the people that President Trump has already nominated or is floating out there as potential people that are going to round out his administration, you still have the others who ran with them in the campaign who are going to be coming in as well. It looks like it's going to be some pretty interesting times ahead and maybe some big changes coming to government that we haven't seen in many, many decades. - Yeah, I will tell you, I am excited and here's why. I think President Trump learned a hard lesson from 2017 to 2021, right? And that is, you get the wrong personnel around you. It can be really devastating to your ability to get things done. And what we see, so you get Robert Kennedy, Jr., right? I mean, think about that. This is a guy that can come in and deal with the health, you know, monstrosity that's there in America, the big pharma, the big health industry. I think that's awesome. He at Tulsi Gabbard who dealt with the big military industrial complex and the forever wars. She knows what that's about. That's awesome. You're getting some other people in there, Lee Zeldin. He knows what the regulatory states about. All those things are just, first of all, you get people who actually believe what we believe in this time. And that's so critical because that means that we're going to be on the same page. And if you're on the same page, going forward, man, there's nothing that can stop you other than, you know, self-inflicted wounds. And I just don't want us to have self-inflicted wounds. And so I say, let's bring more people in up there. There's a lot of good people. I'm getting calls every day from people back home who are talented, capable who they want to work in this administration. And I know others are as well. And these are true believers in America and they want to make this country great and they're believers in the agenda. And that's what we need to get. - No, it's definitely the point you have there. And then in closing today, you know, one of the big appointments that Donald Trump has, we ran with the narrative borders are, but we're actually going to have one in this next administration. That's going to come in the form of big Tom Holman. If there's anybody that is chomping at the bit to get to work for the American people, more than outside of yourselves, obviously President Trump, it's probably Tom Holman. And it has to be really reassuring to know that someone who understands the border has worked in every component of it. For customs, for immigration, for border patrol, he's been a local sheriff in border states. He was the director of ICE, as well as the head of several other agencies in the government over the course of his several decades of work and serving under multiple presidents. It's got to be reassuring that Tom Holman is coming back and you know when it comes to the bottom line at the end of the day, he's going to make sure that the numbers that President Trump lays out there, the expectations that the American people are going to be met or exceeded at the very least. - Yeah, I am excited about Tom. I texted him yesterday a little bit and I texted him again today. Look, Tom's a great guy, he'd be a great border czar, he understands the issues. I've worked with Tom, I've talked with Tom literally for years now, there are other great people that I hope that come along as well. I mean, you bring in an art del cueto, for instance, out of the border patrol guys. I mean, and bring in, Chad, well, I mean, there's a whole host of people who understand this and they want to get going on this and do a good job. And my opinion is, Tom Holman understands that you got to deport a lot of people and how to do it. And the way you do it, I mean, you got the 1.5 million who already have deportation orders. You have a half a million people that are convicted criminals. You have another bucket load of literally millions of people who've come in the last two to four years that have been totally unvetted, they need to go. And Tom knows how to do it and he knows how to work with ICE 'cause he worked there. And I think that they're going to bring in some additional great people like, you know, and I'm floating names, you know, they, you know, whether it's a Sheriff Lamb out of Arizona, Sheriff Dennell, there's a lot of people that know and help. And I think once we start securing the border, there'll be a lot of self-deportation. And our economy will actually get better. There'll be more jobs created and because, I mean, the jobs are there, but we're getting crowded out. And that's part of the problem. - No, it certainly is. And we'll be looking to follow up on a lot of these things as we track the end of the session here and into the new session, into the next year with you, Congress. When we've got everything live linked in the show description today, including a link to your congressional website, where can we find out social media, check out the great work you're doing? I was just on your page this morning, I saw that border documentary you did with Tom Tiffany was still up there and absolute banger when you guys put it out there and we're going to share it again. - Yeah, thanks, you can give me an @repandibigsaz, repandibigsaz, that'll get you there. You can always go to my official site as well. And you'll link up to everything from my op-eds to my social media sites as well and my media hits as well. And plus by policy, my legislation, we continue to introduce legislation in Rome. So we're very active busy office. - And we'll be tracking it as we always do with the congressmen who represent Arizona Five, Representative Andy Biggs. Thanks for joining us on the show. Sir, have a great rest of your week. Welcome back to the Hill. - Thanks, thanks from, we'll talk you soon. - Yeah, but when you deny Jewish students the right to go to class, now it's a civil rights violation. Where I live in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1957, nine black students were kept from going to class. You know what President Eisenhower did? He federalized the National Guard and he sent the 101st Airborne in, those nine students went to school. I don't understand why this presidential administration doesn't recognize that it has a responsibility to protect these students. And it's not just the Jewish students, it's all the students. But what an outrage to single out Jewish people and make them the target of this level of hate and anti-Semitism. If these were black students being denied, being able to go to class, I have a feeling there would be outrage in the mainstream media and in the White House. If these were women or if they were gay people, there would be outrage, there needs to be an outright outrage over the fact that Jewish students have been targeted. And Columbia's response is, go to class virtually and we don't know what we can do. - All right, jump back into the news portion of the show here. Last news segment on the back end of "Too Big, Busy." Tuesday edition is the "Stake Ferkers" podcast. I'm Ro, Noah's still here. - Yo, I love that. And we've got some breaking news. You might be confused or thinking you might have been listening to a previously listened to episode of the podcast by hearing that clip of former Arkansas governor and former presidential candidate, Mike Huckabee, talking about the Palestinian end of the school year spring of love from last year, where we had riots across all of these major campuses, especially in the Ivy League, across the country, Columbia Harvard and those adjacent come into mind. Talking about the plight of Jewish students here in the United States, well, there's been some breaking news, so we'd like to throw it into the show in case you're listening on the Tuesday drive home and haven't saw it yet, but former Arkansas governor, Mike Huckabee, has been selected by Donald Trump to be the ambassador to Israel in the next administration. And again, as this is starting to come together and look at the way we look at it. So "Infinity War" is always gonna be a better movie than "Endgame." But "Endgame" is the ultimate serving of fan service that you'll ever get up to this point in a movie like such. I think we're getting the same with the start of this administration right now. The campaign which led to this historic victory is going to be the best campaign in the history of campaigns. The presidency will be determined by the amount of fan service we're going to get. And when you look at the picks, and just like the S tier amount of people in America first that Donald Trump is picking, he's not going with people that are running alongside the establishment. He's not going with the traditional, maybe you expected to pick here. He's creating new jobs. And he's creating new positions. And he's stacking his bench right now in regards to what he's doing, putting this administration together. And when you can have somebody like Governor Huckabee join the administration. Be so powerfully dialed into the Lord as he does. I mean, I see that guy doing just as many media hits on like places like "Boomer Sweets" Sean Hannity that he does, that I do see him on the weekend playing guitar with the band out, the religious show that he has on. That I think it's a, it's a really good step for America. It also shows that the party is over in regards to this crap that's going on with a lot of the anti-Semitism going on in this country. In addition to coming up with a, this is something we've talked about for a long time here on the show. Donald Trump is going to try everything he can to get peace in the Middle East. He wants to achieve world peace, but a lot of it starts and ends there. Just they've been kind of doing the same shits in the biblical times. Now they just have rockets and missiles and nukes and all the other shit to help facilitate it, right? Where it used to be rocks and slings and arrows and shields and crucifixes. My bad. But the thing is, you don't just need people who are closely tied or maybe even pandered to the region or either side. You want to bring an ambassador in there. You want to be someone that could sit in the middle of that table, hear both sides of the plate and work towards a reasonable solution. And when you talk about somebody with the character, the charisma and the loyalty that he's shown to Donald Trump over the years, we know how the Huckabee's feel about the Trump's. I couldn't think of a better pick for this position, even though it's just simply an ambassador role. So great pick and announcement there, but we are going to quickly switch gears and jump into what we're going to be talking about now. And that's the hiring of Tom Hohman and overall border security, right after I read this official statement that came out from the Trump campaign just now. I am pleased to announce that highly respected former governor of Arkansas, Mike Huckabee, has been nominated to the United States Ambassador to Israel. Mike has been a great public servant, governor and leader in faith for many years. He loves Israel and the people of Israel. And likewise, the people of Israel love him. Mike will work tirelessly to bring about peace in the Middle East again. I feel like Donald Trump's going to get it done. I can't wait for that historic summit between the Jews and the Arabs, where we're hashing this stuff out for real. And for everyone that has pushed that he's going to end this planet and start World War III for a decade now, watch him broker piece in the Middle East. I don't think anybody's probably more excited in the region than MBS, but this is a really good move for Donald Trump. I didn't see this one coming and I'm actually glad it came this way. So, but let's take out Tom Hohman right now. Where we last heard from him publicly, outside of a couple of media hits, he's done over the course of the last weeks since the announcement came that he's going to be the new borders are for the Trump administration. And again, he'll be joining us on our Friday edition of the podcast that has been confirmed by him. He gave a pretty fiery, wasn't peaceful at all, speech at the RNC and literally, I think I've shared it several times with the caption and all caps pack your bags. Let's hear it. (crowd cheering) You're damn right. 'Cause you're going home. I got another message, another message to the criminal cartels in Mexico. You've spoken about fentanyl across this country to kill 148,000 young Americans. You have killed more Americans than every terrorist organization in the world combined. And that's when President Trump gets back in office. He's going to designate you a terrorist organization. He's going to wipe you off the face of the earth. You're done. You're done. President Trump is going to end the Biden-Harris open border madness. We will stop the drugs and the crime from pouring your neighborhoods. President Trump has proven to the American people that he's a warrior. (crowd cheering) And he's going to make America safe again. And you can take that to the bank. (crowd cheering) Mike, drop. I'm sorry, my name is- Take it to the bank. My nips are hard, no. How are you? Take it to the food bank and whatever country you came from. There's only been two people out on the campaign trail who have talked about going to war with the criminal cartels. Obviously, you just heard Tom home in there. And then even when a lot of people thought and it kind of put it out there on social media, like Donald Trump said he was going to go to the war with the cartels, but it's not the way it works, down the stretch of the campaign, he brought it up several times. We played the clips here on the show. Here's the deal. I can only assume much in the same way it happened with a former great friend, Abdull. There are a bunch of people at the heads of these cartels in Mexico. We'll call them Pablo's and Juan Carlos's, maybe even Javier's, getting pictures of their safe houses and family homes right now. And they're gonna be calling Donald Trump on the phone and asking senior Trump, "Bortique, Bortique, why do you send me pictures of my home?" He's like, "Well, I just had them. Therefore, I wanted you to have them." And much like we saw the complete campaign of using snipers to assassinate US soldiers in Afghanistan for 18 months, leading up to Donald Trump leaving the White House in 2020. What are we gonna see happen in Mexico? I know this is a spicy topic for a lot of America. We all know that the nation of Mexico is not ran by its centralized government and that the cartels have just as much, if not more, poll than the actual president and cabinet members of that country do. - Well, it's because the president and cabinet members are puppets for the cartel. - Yeah. - Just like some of our politicians are puppets for China. And in all reality, a lot of our politicians are probably puppets for the cartel too, because they do have a lot of poll in the United States owning real estate, owning businesses, owning corporations. Probably donating to act blue because let's face it, the Democrats being in charge are way better for them. So they're probably a little bit bummed about Kamala Harris being $20 million in debt to them. I mean, got her. - Oh, no, it's the truth. Do you, can you close your eyes and visualize a time where the United States would be using, let's just say, special forces, drone technology on a sovereign nation to eliminate criminal members of an enterprise. One that we weren't at war with. Let's just say, I mean, the case is different in places like Afghanistan and Iraq. Sometimes when we go off the grid in places like Syria, we do have bases in that country and stuff like that to protect the oil fields there. - But we've drone strike U.S. citizens in foreign countries before, Obama. - So yeah, it opens up the door to debate. But I think when you can pretty much prove, listen, Donald Trump wants a death penalty for anybody that's like at the top of the criminal gangs here who distributing drugs. Imagine the ones who sit at the heads of the families in Mexico, the ones that are really connected to places like China and now the Middle East, Russia, Romania and all these other countries who have set up like criminal networks in places like Mexico as well. It's gonna be really interesting to see how this country shakes out. - When we saw them talking about identifying the cartels as a terrorist organization, I voiced my opinion that it would be worrisome because that might validate a lot of these asylum claims. But that was really only an issue while the asylum window was wide open. So with this administration chopping down the bullshit like fraudulent asylum because that's basically 99.9% of what we're getting. - Right. - Then it's not as much of an issue to label those guys as a terrorist organization and then just declare war on the people that are literally poisoning our country. Now, our country is guilty of being consumers of all the stuff that the cartels have to offer. Yes. - Distilitated by politicians in a lot of cases. - Yeah, exactly. So I mean, it's gonna be interesting to see how it pans out but I mean, if we're gonna start putting warheads on foreheads, so to speak, in cartel drug labs, I'm down, that'll be fun. - No, I like it. No, that's a good angle because I mean, look at it. You have to just think from Skid Row to Kensington and everywhere in between. You have these politicians that are radical, progressive, sometimes foreign influence by people like George Soros who come in and decriminalize everything from marijuana in some places like in many states across the country. Now, all the way up to drugs like meth and Coke in places like Oregon where they've seen like the amount of deaths and the amount of hospitalizations go up like 700% since this legislation has passed in some cases. - And now they're reneging on whether or not that's gonna still be legal. Were you surprised to see Gascon get absolutely destroyed in his election in Los Angeles and that they're gonna actually get someone who's mildly conservative which would be like a fulfilling point better than Gascon coming in to be the top cop in LA? - Well, Gascon was, he was at war with like the sheriff's apartment in California and all that stuff. Like that guy was a piece of shit. Like, let's be honest. They just weren't answering calls in the greater Los Angeles area anymore because if you did some, if you went and apprehended someone that committed a legitimate crime and they said that like the cops were mean to them. - Yeah, the cops gave me a, gave me an extra squeeze on my balls during the pad down. - You lose your job and your livelihood. Yeah, it's gonna be interesting to see. Listen, there is a big comeback story happening in California. I think it's a couple of election cycles down the road but when you look at what's going on right now, it's gonna be pretty awesome to see the way California, it's resiliency to get back on track is really something that we're gonna be talking about for a while. You know, one of the other people that's in the mix, former great friend of the show, someone that was out there down the stretch, running with cash and Elise Stefanik and Monica Crowley to make sure how seats like Scott Perry's in Pennsylvania, all the way up to the entirety of the state in the Keystone was safe and secure for President Trump in this election cycle. That's former acting attorney general Matt Whitaker. I can't wait. I mean, that guy is no nonsense. I thought he did a phenomenal job last time. He was the head of the Department of Justice there and it's gonna be interesting to see where he fits in to this incoming administration. They had just introduced him on a Fox News show, heading to a commercial break is the incoming guest and they said someone that's in the mix for a top spot in the Trump administration. So I did wanna mention that. - Can you imagine Whitaker and Omen hanging out together? - Yes. - It'd be like a fricking Marvel team up. So you wanna know I saw a funny meme. No, I know you're not a sports guy, but there is an iconic sports illustrated cover from like the early 90s, right? And it had all five starting offensive linemen from the University of Nebraska. They were big, hulking bees. - I really only cared about some of the sports illustrated covers. - Agreed. Kathy Ireland was my favorite, by the way. So anyways, it was these five linemen who were all first round draft picks in the NFL draft. They were the five starters for Nebraska when they won one of their back to back championships, you know, in the 90s. And then they had a side by side with Tom Holman standing there and it's like, whose line of defense would you rather bank on? And it's funny to think that, you know, those guys did a hell of a job having thousand yard rushes and willing the cornhuskers to back to back championships at the time. There's gonna be a lot more people that try to get past Tom Holman and they're gonna be a lot less successful than the Nebraska offensive line was. So I thought it was actually like one of those big brain memes. But when I saw the picture of the line and they're all like standing on some rocks and they got their varsity jacket on and they're all looking big and hulking. I was like, you know what? That is a big brain, like really good meme. It doesn't have to be super funny, but it makes you think and like, obviously, it's the reality that we're all living with. Scott Jennings has brought a lot of reality regarding Donald Trump's success and the success of House Republicans and retaking the Senate over the course of the last couple of weeks leading to the election. And he was doing a lot of the same talking about Tom Holman last night on CNN. Let's check it out. - Well, first of all, I think Mr. Holman is the exact right choice and I'm glad the president has moved on that so quickly because it was such a big part of his campaign. Number two, look, there's a whole bunch of people in this country that don't need to be here. In fact, there's I think 1.3 million people who've already received deportation orders from federal courts. They've already had due process. They need to leave. And so there's a good place to start. There's a whole another bunch of people who are here that we know have committed violent crimes, either where they were or since they've been here, they need to be sent away as well. So there are large numbers of people that need to be taken out of this country. And I think Mr. Holman is gonna be the person who's most capable of getting that done. And for those who think that this is somehow unusual, it's not. Every administration departs people. Barack Obama deported all kinds of people, lots of people in fact. And so it's something that the executive branch can and should do when due process has occurred or when we know there are people in the country who wish harm on American citizens. This should not be controversial. And in fact, in the campaign, it wasn't polling repeatedly showed that people supported Trump's viewpoint on this issue. - It was so funny to watch the two ladies if you could call them that, who were on this panel like three boxes on the screen. They just sit there. They looked so disgusted and pissed off, but at the same time, sad. - Yeah, it was funny to listen to him kind of just lay it out there. I'm looking right now, potential Trump attorney general contenders, Mike Lee, John Ratcliffe. Ken Paxton, great guest of the show. Matt Whitaker, former great guest of the show. And Mark Pauletta, former White House attorney. Jay Clayton, the former SEC chair, is also in there as well. I'd like to see Ratcliffe somewhere in the administration. I don't think he's like ultra, ultra maga, but there was one thing that he was known for. He was never a leaker. And they tried to test his loyalty a couple times at the end of the last Trump admin. And then obviously we already talked about Matt Whitaker. I'd like to see Ken Paxton get involved in this administration as well. Listen, we're reaching out to everybody. See who comes back on the show. Tom Holman was the first feeder that came back, but I'm pretty confident that we'll catch up with Congresswoman Cheryl and Stefanik and Lee Zeldin as well before we get in here. And we'll see what we could do to bring you guys some great guests. Tom Holman appeared on Boomer Swech on Hannity's show yesterday, I believe. You know, and I wasn't really too thrilled with the questioning that Sean Hannity had for him. You know, when I turned it on, they were leading into this talking point about deportations and stuff, right? And then next thing you know, Sean Hannity was like, so do you plan on deporting U.S. citizens? And I don't know if that's because Sean Hannity like doesn't understand how smart this internship is or wants to kind of lay it out there because there's some misinformation about it. But yeah, I don't know. You guys can check it out. Let's listen. Let me ask you this. Do you like the idea of maybe giving a grace period where people that did not respect our laws, borders, sovereignty, that maybe you give them two or three months and you say you can sell for a port and we will help deport you. We will send you back to your home country. And if you do that, we'll put money in your pocket so you can rebuild your life which would be a lot cheaper than paying for three nights at a four-star hotel in New York and giving them a debit card. And in a year after a year or two years or three years, whatever it is, you can then apply to come into the country legally. If you don't sell for a port to port, then you will never be given an opportunity at citizenship and when you leave, you will never be invited back. - Oh, it looks like you just want to listen for being able to come into the country. Sound like a good idea or no? - And when you leave, you don't get nothing. - Criminals and gang members get no grace periods. But while we're out prioritizing the public safety threats and national security threats, if you want a self-deport, you should self-deport because again, we know who you are and we're going to come and find you. So if you want a self-deport, that's fine. But criminals and gang members, they get no favors from this administration. You came to this country legally, which is a crime. You committed crimes against the United States and some heinous crimes. You get no grace periods, so we're coming for you. But for those others, the non-criminals, you want a self-deport, I'm all for it. Because when they self-deport, they can put their orders, put everything in order, their family business, if they got homes or whatever, they can put all of them in order and leave with their family altogether. It makes perfect sense for the ones that are not criminally not for them. - How are they going to get home? How do they get home? - Well, the ones we're going to, the rest of them won't find an airplane and send them home. And the ones that want to go home on their own, they found their way across the world to come to the greatest nation on earth, they can find their way home. Either that, or I'll give them a free airline ticket, that we put them on our airplane and we'll take them home. It's either way, it's up to them. If we arrest them, they come on our airplane, Sean. If they want to go on their own airplane, I welcome them. - Listen, let me tell you something. Not having former director Holman to have to go through Senate confirmation is going to allow him to do such a better job heading into this thing. - That's solid enough. - Yeah, it certainly is. And when you hear about the way people are trying to frame stuff and make it like, that's going to be hard. But I'll tell you what- - I saw something where they were saying that deportations are going to actually help the housing market. - It certainly will, because guess who's getting a lot of free housing on? Well, this is what happened. These home groups come in here. They scoop up a whole bunch of homes that don't belong to people anymore. - Well, you know, black rocks involved in that as well. - Of course. And then they just give them to illegals and they get the government subsidies and all the benefits and stuff like that. - Just probably better than renting it, honestly. - Yeah. And then we've also heard the case where people who are on low income, they're getting put into housing and then they're leaving the housing and charging illegals cash to live in these houses. That's another thing that I would call it an epidemic here in the United States as well. And, you know, it's one of those things where it's going to take a village. And I really want to emphasize the fact that local state law enforcement, listen, we see what's going on on Instagram. We see what's going on on TikTok. The wave of the wind from last week is sweeping across the nation. We need to harness that lightning in a bottle and we need to keep it rolling all the way up through January and through the first 120 days to get the infrastructure for this operation set up because there are going to be some very difficult images that the radical left, the major, they just spent a billion dollars in three months to try and defeat Donald Trump and lost. How much money do you think they're going to pour into demonizing, removing as many people as possible from the United States? - Oh, they're probably already staging pictures. - Of course. - Of course. So just keep that in mind. Some of the pictures might be heartbreaking, but again, so is the fact that they're here taking everything from us while we pay for everything for them. And you know what else I like to hear? No, everyone's on the same page. I can confirm it. I heard from Pat Fallon today, Scott Jennings on CNN yesterday and Tom Holman from last night all used the same talking points that there's already 1.5 million people in this country process detained and ready for deportation. They need to leave immediately. And then they all went into the stats of the other kind of people they're prioritizing to get out here first. - But those are people that were already holding? - Yes. Yes. So, but when you hear the top conservative commentator on CNN echo the same thing as an America first congressman from Texas who was also saying the same thing that the incoming borders are for President Trump, they all use the same stat line. It seems like the talking points are going out and they're trying to inform America in the best way possible, like this is what you need to prepare for. This is what we got an overwhelming mandate for. This is what at one time over 70% of people getting pulled we're saying they're okay with, mass deportations. And I think it's a really good angle and it's a really good move. - Well, and the solid part is, you know, if you leave willingly, you won't be penalized further. But if you leave when we catch you, you're gonna be barred from coming back. - And again, those exemptions for people who get deported and at some point you come back into the country, they're longstanding, but don't expect them to remain the same for the next word. I mean, Donald Trump's talking about an executive order, which is immediately gonna put pressure on Congress to have people who are legally born here in the United States not get birthright citizenship. That's gonna be a double. - That's gonna be the huge thing because we have birth tourism in this country, which is wild. - Yeah, so that's not gonna be happening anymore. And he's gonna put a lot of pressure on Congress to get that up in a piece of legislation to his desk that he can implement into law. And once it is, good luck trying because even when a different president would try to overturn that, you've gotta go through the courts and that could take years if not decades once he decides. And there's nothing wrong with that. You know, you'll have- And it will be active, like the rule will be active while they're fighting it, correct? - Yep, yep, people will come with injunctions here and injunctions there, but the law is the law. So we'll see how that looks. Guys, wherever you're listening to the show today, last call. Thanks for joining us on the second of two big Tuesday editions of the State of Breakfast podcast. So as I had mentioned before our station identification, it's gonna take a village. And whether or not everyone's gonna be on board with this, we've already heard the hysteria from the radical left. I think one of the best clear cut cases and examples of that was piece of shit, governor of California, Gavin Newscombe. He followed up his posts on X last week, saying that it's time to call an emergency session of whatever, with answering a question about just that on an interview yesterday. Let's hear it. - We are calling and have called for an emergency special session of our state legislature. Firmly focused on the values we hold dear that I think are universal values that are American values as it relates to freedoms and individual liberty, as it relates to the issues of reproductive freedom in particular, as it relates to the freedom to breathe clean air and drink clean water and environmental stewardship planning firmly our feet as it relates to continuing to advance our low carbon green growth strategies. To do the same as it relates to vulnerable communities, we're not going to shrink and we're not gonna shy or fall prey to the rhetoric around demeaning and belittling vulnerable communities, scapegoating vulnerable communities. We're gonna have their back, we're gonna have your back. Even if you don't live in the state of California, we're gonna have your back. - Cry harder. - He should fucking die. - Oh, whoa. No, listen, you're right now, cry harder. And he's talking about these communities of illegals. He's talking about these communities that are on federal and state assistance that are taking everything away from you. Jobs, the value of the dollar, safety and security in the streets, the ability to get healthcare, your child's educational experience, there's no component of your life if you live in and around a sanctuary city or even in a state that isn't directly affected by the amounts of illegals that are allowed to live there and assume the reality and the persona that they're American citizens and are treated better than all of us. There's no accountability for them to pay taxes, whether it be into Social Security and Medicare, into retirement, towards the schools or anything. - You know, if you're just getting free shit just for being here, why would you wanna change your status and then be on the hook? That'd be like renting a property and then you just like tell the landlord that, you know, I just wanted to let you know that we've done a lot of improvements around here and this place is really nice and you should probably be charging us more. - Yeah, like I said, it's going to take a village and standing in the way of these ass hats like Gavin Newsom and J.B. Pritzker, the governor of Massachusetts who went out in virtue single right after Donald Trump's win on election night, et cetera. These people will all change their tune when every single federal dollar that gets funneled into these states and gets wasted on people like illegal aliens stops in one day. Like unlimited federal funds, Monday, Tuesday, zero federal funds. That will make a huge difference and an impact in the narrative. You will see them quietly back up and let this administration due to the job that they've been tasked with doing. And listen, if you don't wanna be a participant in making America great again, well, Tom Homan had a message for those people this morning on Fox and Friends as well. That's, do us a favor and get the hell out of our way. Let's hear it. - He was suing the sex works that he's, you know, J.Soo's sex works and he's pulling a ton of funds. Of course, day one, when Joe Biden came in, obviously stopped that law too. So that's be put back in place. And look, I've seen some of these democratic governors say they're gonna stand in the way, they're gonna make it hard for us. Well, you know, a suggestion. If you're not gonna help us, get the hell out of the way for we're gonna do it. So if we can't get assistance from New York City and I may have, you know, we may have to double the number of Asians we send in New York City because we're gonna do the job. We're gonna do the job without you or with you. But it's much easier to rest it back. Like I just said, we're kinda straight on public, thank you such a human and national security threat. It's much easier to rest the bad guy in the jail. Give us access to workers on it that would be kicked out. Let us get the bad guy in the jail. They're safer for the gaming, they're safer for the officer, they're safer for the community. - I don't understand what the negatives of that is other than you're going against your own virtue singling that you're a sanctuary or whatever, right? Yeah, it's wild. And that was in a direct response to the rhetoric that Gavin Newsom's been kind of spitting out there over the course of the last couple of days. As we're getting ready to wrap now, I've got one more clip, Noah. So a lot of people are wondering too, where's RFK Junior? Where's Tulsi Gabbard? Where's Elon Musk? Those are all great questions. But remember, filling a lot of these positions are gonna come from longstanding allies and loyalists and former employees of Donald Trump from his previous administration before we start adding all of the people who came in from outside the America First 10 at the end of this election cycle. That doesn't mean they're not going to get some of the highest positions in the land, including agency heads or cabinet level positions. As I've heard, every single person I've talked to be just excited to know degree about the potentiality of Tulsi Gabbard getting in there and working directly and making the military great again. The potentiality of RFK Junior taking maybe half of the job that needs to be done against the bio-pharmaceutical medical industrial complex and tag teaming that with someone like a Dr. Ben Carson. Elon Musk, it's a little bit different story. We talked about it on our show on Tuesday. Much like it was the case with Donald Trump, he had to sign all of everything to do with it over to his sons. Eric manages it now when he became president because you can't be an international corporation owner in the president of the United States at the same time. Elon Musk has Tesla and Starlink, SpaceX, everything else. He's not going to sign that stuff away for somebody else to run while he's serving as a cabinet member or an agency head, but they're going to have an agency created to run adjacent to the government that is going to essentially do the job that he had talked about doing throughout the course of this election cycle as the legalities of it has become more clear over the course of the last, you know, week and a half or so. But everybody should be really excited about the fact that it's been reported and now confirmed that since election day and up through even today, Elon Musk has been staying at Mar-a-Lago and sitting in and talking with President Trump. Maybe even help making some of the decisions that are going on over the course of the last week and a half in regards to what's formulating to be a pretty bitch in administration, to say the least. It's going to be amazing. It literally is. And it's got a clip to go along with it as our last audio clip of the day, let's hear it. Mar-a-Lago has basically been brimming for the last two days, I'm told, with two kinds of people, those angling for a job and those who are trying to influence Trump into hiring their picks. But one person has loomed over all of that. His name is Elon Musk. Multiple sources tell me tonight that Musk has been seen at Mar-a-Lago nearly every single day since Donald Trump won, dining with him on the patio at times. Today they were seen on the golf course together. Musk has been in the room when world leaders have called Trump. And tonight we've learned he's also weighing in on staffing decisions, making clear his preference for certain roles even. Publicly, tonight Elon Musk is backing Florida Senator Rick Scott as the next leader of the Republican Conference to replace Mitch McConnell. While Musk himself is still not expected to take any kind of formal position inside Trump's administration, given how complicated it would be with his companies, what's becoming clearer tonight is that he doesn't really need to, with one source telling me Elon Musk is having just as much influence from the outside. - I love it, I love to hear it. In case you were wondering, yes, I can confirm that was transitioning and failing show host Caitlyn Collins, her muscular neck gets a little bit more muscally. Every time I see her flexing that eight pack on her throat on the news, not wearing makeup and talking with a deeper voice than I have. But again, this is a copy of what you want. You want one of the smartest people on the planet who in turn is one of the most successful businessmen on the planet working with someone who is also one of the most successful businessman on the planet. To put together a team that's gonna save this country. That's not really exaggerating the point either. I think it's a good inclination of what's going on and what's still to come. No, what do you think, closing remarks got anything? I mean, it seems like we're on a pretty good, we're charting a good course to make America great again. I'm sure we'll have some ups and downs. We'll have some continued coping and seething, but if it looks like everybody getting on the same page, seems to be off to a great start. - Well, we're gonna make America great again, we're gonna make, what was the comedian that did the, he was doing the, making the Trump voice, but he's like, my presidential ideas, mega, mega, mega, mega. And he's like, make American great and grand and gargantuan, that's what we're doing. - We are, we are, whether you like it or not. And, you know, I'm watching right now on the big screen in the studio as we're getting ready to wrap here and jump in with constitutional attorney, Trump surrogate, Jesse Benal, border agents on a path forward under Trump as the headline. And you've got two people who are high ranking in the Border Patrol Union out there talking about their excitement level, not only getting Kristi known ahead of the Department of Homeland Security moving forward, but having people like Tom Holman even be overseeing her in the upcoming Trump administration. So we'll leave it at that, as we're getting ready to jump in with Jesse Benal, but before we do, we're gonna have a final check-in with one of our partners. - Friends, I wanna take a minute and talk to you about cigars. Whether you're on the golf course, fishing on the lake or doing some yard work around the house. Our friend Alan has got you covered. He's launched the Patriot Cigar Company. Mypatriot cigars.com, that's mypatriot cigars.com, a premium smoke for freedom-loving patriots. - All right, joining us next on the show today is a big Tuesday edition of the Stake for Breakfast podcast. He's a constitutional attorney and he heads the banal law group and we're always excited to sit down and catch up with none other than Jesse Benal, welcome back to the show. - Hey, thanks so much for having me again. - Always a pleasure, sir. We are on the heels of major, major happenings in the United States last week. I think we gotta start where it all began. And that was last Tuesday night in Donald Trump's historic landslide victory in more ways than one, not just in the electoral college, but the popular vote as well. And him leading and getting everybody else over the finish line, us being able to retain the House of Representatives, flip the Senate into Republican control. We've got a pretty decent majority. I'd have to say myself on the Supreme Court, things are looking good for America first, but as you saw this race wind down and now in the wake of it, Jesse, let's get a little bit of commentary on how you saw this all shake out. - Well, I mean, first of all, the American people spoke loud and clear and I think one thing that the Democrats should have noticed, I'm not sure that they did or not, is that their law fair attempts against President Trump and his supporters have backfired hugely, or bigly as President Trump might say. - I like it. - It's something that the American people have seen right through. They were absolutely, I think, horrified by seeing how the left wing went out and tried to use our criminal justice system in order to try to affect an election. It's something that's been very, very clear since election day as they've been winding down some of those prosecutions that we really now know. It was all about trying to interfere with the presidential election, but Donald Trump made it past all that and he went out, he spoke directly to the American people. The American people clearly want him back in the White House, which is why we have this overwhelming victory and why we'll all be very happy that they have him back on January 20th, 2025. - Now for the legislative agenda that's gonna be started in the House of Representatives, obviously on the backing of President Trump campaigned on, moved up through the Senate, regardless who the leader is gonna be after they decide on it tomorrow, and then sent to President Trump's desk. It seems like when you look at the way Congress didn't work for the American people, and there was a lot of holding the line down in the House of Representatives, that got course corrected a little bit more so once Kevin McCarthy was removed as speaker halfway through the session. But without having all three chambers, Joe Biden had a really hard time outside of a budget and two pieces of wasteful spending when it comes to legislation get passed throughout the course of now nearly four years of the time he's had in office. It seems like we're gonna see a night and day change to that, and Donald Trump had a lot of policy platform pillars that he campaigned on, everything from sealing and securing the border, reestablishing our geopolitical footing, explosion of becoming energy dominant again. You have to talk about all things related to the economy. It seems like it's gonna be a lot more streamlined measure and now getting legislation to his desk, and when he talks about it at the end of his victory speech last week down at Mar-a-Lago, one of the things he referenced back to from his first campaign and his first term in office was he was the promises made, promises kept president. It looks like he's gonna be depending on Congress to get that stuff to his desk as fast as possible to get signed and working for the American people. - No, that's right, and the fact that we have now the House, the Senate, and the White House is I think critically important to do that. I think the important thing for the American people to do is to lean on their members of Congress. - Sure. - Still are a number of members of Congress out there that have managed to get elected without actually having a backbone. And it's going to be the American people that I think that need to continue to lean on their members of Congress to remind them of the mandate that they just called for President Trump to get his policies and his agenda through. And the other thing that we're gonna have to look out for is that the left has their playbook, and their playbook is going to be to try to do everything they can to obstruct these policies through more law fair and trying to use the courts to thwart the will of the American people. And so we gotta be on the lookout for that and to get ready to fight back. - You know, that's definitely the angle I wanted to go with you on, and I'll lead in starting with something I'm sure you thought was pretty comical over the course of the last seven days or so, Jesse. And that's how fast Jack Smith is folding up his cases against Donald Trump and taking his ball home. You know, it leaked into the media that there was some shock and disbelief into the big victory for Donald Trump coming out of the DC law circuit over the course of like the 24 hours in the wake of the election. But now it's become more transparent that none of these sham cases, witch hunts and hoaxes that, you know, they had provided against the American people. As part of the narrative against Donald Trump, it was more of a campaign measure than it ever was literally gonna be law fair leading up to the election. How do you feel that, you know, they're kind of reeling right now and they're gonna have to go back to the drawing board and just, you know, kind of examine the way that they attacked their political opponents, how much it worked or didn't in this case with Donald Trump in regards to his election cycle. And moving forward, they're probably gonna have to figure out some things that are a little bit more constitutionally aligned when they go after somebody in regards to trying to slow down a campaign or try to damage the character of a candidate going into an election cycle. - Yeah, yeah, I know, I think that's exactly right. You know, we need to have some accountability to make sure this never happens again, first and foremost. - Agree. - And having the, you know, unelected bureaucrats at the Department of Justice, you know, free to pursue their political objectives through the criminal justice system must end. It must never ever happen again. I'm optimistic that this will happen. I'm optimistic that the president is going to appoint an attorney general and other key positions at the Department of Justice that will make sure that there's accountability for people that have used the justice system to meet a political objective. Because if we don't have accountability for those people, then they will try it again. And they won't just try it again, you know, for eight years or, you know, hopefully longer when Democrats are back in power. They're gonna try it again immediately because they believe that they are their career bureaucrats who have a God given, you know, anointed right to go in and pursue their own political objectives using our criminal justice system. And they don't. Those people need to be held accountable. They need to be replaced. And we need to make sure that the Department of Justice doesn't have any more five thumbs. You know, one of the things that I think is, is really incredible right now, is the gnashing of teeth you have over on the left for people upset that Jack Smith is probably gonna be dismissing his charges against President Trump because that's gonna be what's constitutionally required. But also about how angry they are at Jack Smith and Merrick Garland and others for not moving sooner, not moving quicker to use their political power and combine it with the power of the Department of Justice in order to beat Donald Trump using the justice system rather than what ended up happening, which is allowing the American people to make that decision. And they really are showing their true colors right now in these articles that are out there showing how upset they are at the Department of Justice for not interfering more and showing that these, this really was law fair all along. And that is why accountability is so important. When you use the criminal justice system to meet a political objective, it is a violation of federal law and they need to be held to account. - Now that's an excellent point, Jesse, you make. And then sticking in the course of agency heads and cabinet members, you know, the Department of Justice is just one of the components there, the FBI, the CIA or others of the Department of Homeland Security. They don't intermingle as much in previous administrations as much as they did in this one. But when you look at the totality of circumstances and the amount of weapons that they used against Donald Trump both figuratively and literally when it came down to the assassination attempts, which I think was a direct result of not only the rhetoric, but the investigations and the fraudulent narratives they pushed in the media, which motivated people to take these extreme measures. It seems like Donald Trump's not only going to have to make amazing picks when it comes to like his agency heads, presidential appointees and cabinet members, but it's going to be those administrators' jobs to go into these huge agencies and departments within the federal government and start removing some of the long time, long standing career unelected bureaucrats who in a lot of instances during the first Trump administration, you know, stymied and slowed down a lot of legislative agenda of Donald Trump. You know, he would literally have an Oval Office meeting with his top advisors and the cabinet members and Donald Trump would come to terms on something that they want to get done. They would instruct the people under them to go to whatever agency it is and either get the data or start moving the ball. And the people that work in these agencies be like, that's not the way the government works. We'll do it when we're ready to do it in the time that we're ready to do it. And that's just the way things work in Washington, D.C. And the president at some instances couldn't do anything about it. - Yeah, that's right. And that's what needs to change in this administration. Towards the end, of course, of the first Trump administration, we all know about schedule now and what the president was able to start doing to hold these bureaucrats to account. And it's going to be a huge advantage that I think we're starting out with schedule F this way and being able to take and hold these career bureaucrats to account because let's remember what this really is about is that these are people that most of them live and were born in Washington, D.C. and they think they're smarter than the American people. They think that it's their job to impart the law through bureaucratic policy actions, through regulations, et cetera, upon the American people from Washington, D.C., regardless of what the American people want and have shown through their votes and sending people from America to Washington, D.C. And that is the way the government's supposed to work. It's from the states to Washington, D.C., not vice versa. And so we need to be able to hold those bureaucrats fully to account and if they are not willing to do their job and carry out the directives of the commander in chief, the head of the executive branch of government as is constitutionally required. Then we need to point out that they are trying to thwart American democracy. Our democracy has been said over and over again over the last four years and they need to be dismissed from the federal government. And again, held fully accountable for that. And we have to do that from the first moment this time. We cannot allow them to get a toehold at all into any sort of resistance movement again, like they were last time. - Yeah, I saw a lot of the things. In the last administration, especially tied to the border, the amount of deregulations that Donald Trump wanted and the slowing down of that, there was a lot of law affair that was waged against the president in regards to border security, which is two of the top things. When you talk about energy independence in the border, I think that's where the deep state kind of draws their lines in the sand, but it looks like Donald Trump's got some plans ahead of time. And then, Jesse, trickling down and circling back to Congress, which is where we started today, Democrat law fair is something that's not new to the American people. I mean, they've seen it waged in every single way since challenging pieces of legislation all the way up and to and through the Supreme Court with their extensive and deep bench of lawyers that they have on the Democrat side. But things like impeachment on day one and all the things that you saw them kind of using as, again, campaign measures throughout the course of the presidential election cycle to kind of stoke fear in the American public and seem like Donald Trump's job is gonna be made a little bit more difficult on day one than you would think following such a historic election, which I think is the X factor here. Not only did he win a landslide electorally, it was the winning of the popular vote, it was the defeating of the narrative and all the weapons that were waged against Donald Trump over the last four, nearly 10 years, if you look at it in its totality, that give him a little bit of a different angle going in here. If he had not won the popular vote, you could say that his win was one that was based off of an old system, that maybe doesn't work, that's getting Democrat talking points, not the way the Constitution intended it, it actually worked out perfectly when you talk about the Constitution in regards to races like this. But having the popular vote, it seems like that mandates a little bit larger and some of the old tricks that people like Nancy Pelosi and Jamie Raskin and even Chuck Schumer and the Senate have leaned on since Donald Trump has entered the political arena, don't seem like they're going to stick or even be able to materialize in Donald Trump's, let's just say, first 100 to 120 days, but what do you think? - No, I think that's right. I think that there's going to be a lot of people that a lot of members of Congress that understand that this was a mandate, but then there are going to also be a number of members of Congress that want to do everything they can to slow roll President Trump's agenda to try to defeat him and most of those people will be Democrats, but there's going to be some Republicans and Republicans in the Ukraine first caucus, as I like to say, that are going to also be out there that might try to still thwart that the will of the American people here. And that's why it's so important. When we start to see those people, it's really important to speak up and call your member to Congress and let them know that you're not going to stand for people that are putting other countries or other agendas in front of the agenda of the American people as spoken by the American people very loudly on November 5th. - No, you can't make a better case there. And I think that's where we're going to leave it. Jesse, as always, awesome kitchen up with you. We could talk about anything from the goings on up in D.C., all the way to the legal premises of it. And we've got everything live linked in the show description today, a live link to your law firm as well. Where can we find you on social media?
