It is a Thursday that means it is time for Adam Ronas to get you straightened out and how you're gonna win your fantasy football match-ups this week. Adam Ronas on Twitter. He is, of course, the host of Fantasy Life on Sirius XM, and you gotta get it on his dub club where he continues to kill it. I like to ask you a local question out of the gates, Adam. Houston doesn't play until Monday night, getting Nico back. What do you make of the Texans offense with Nico Collins and his return who's safe to play in that Texans offense? - It is massive for the Texans offense. Nico Collins has been missed in a big way, and more importantly, they get the face of Dallas Cowboys who are just a embarrassment right now. I'm a Cowboys fan, so it's been, I haven't felt like this in a long time. Now, I know what Giants fans feel like for the last 10 years. It is not fun. I like making fun of them, but it's been rough. But yeah, it's a good spot here for the Texans. It could get right situation. You could easily hand it off the mix in 2025 times in this game and hope produced, but I do think you wanna get 2-j style right. He was very good in the first half last week against Detroit and Felloff. So this is a game to kind of get the passing game going, get some confidence for C.J. Stroud. And you know, Collins has just been so good this year. He had at least 86 receiving yards in his four full game. And then even the game he got injured, which is, I think it was actually in the first quarter. He was two for seven, eight and a touchdown before leaving that game. So it's been a massive difference. So this is huge for those that have Nico Collins on your fantasy team because if he picks up where he left off, I mean, this is a guy that's gonna help people to a lot of championships. - Adam, let's stay with your favorite team and their best player in CD Lamb. And the fact that he's one of two players, I've got my eyes on to see what you have to say about their availability and productivity. And that would be CD Lamb against the Texans with that shoulder injury that he sustained and how he gets through the quarterback situation. And then Tyree Kill, who gets hurt from OBJ in a touchdown celebration in this questionable this week. - Yeah. So with CD Lamb, he is off the injury report. So we don't have to worry about the shoulder. What we do need to worry about is the quarterback 'cause Cooper Rush was awful last week. Somehow, CD Lamb turned 10 targets into six catches for 21 yards. And that's actually an accomplishment considering the situation there. At least he gave you 8.1 points and a full point PPR but the longest reception he had was six. So you clearly have to lower expectations for CD Lamb, he's now more of a wide receiver three at this point. And I would look, if someone is gonna bite on the name, I would do it like, for example, if someone said, "Hey, I'll give you George Pickens for CD Lamb." I'd say, "Here you go." So you definitely have to lower expectations for him. Tyree Kill, this whole thing is perplexing because I just don't understand how he's not getting the football more. I keep saying that the risk injury is not an issue and it doesn't look like it is. He caught the ball fine when it was thrown his way this past week. But how do you get four targets? I just don't understand five targets the week before, even when two was out. Like I thought McDaniel was supposed to be a genius. How are they not designing short rows to Tyree Kill on flance to get him in motion, catching the football and using his speed, end the round, doing something. It just doesn't make any sense here. So that was definitely a disappointing game on Monday against the Rams, but they get a good match up to speak against Vegas. So I think if you have Tyree Kill, you're just, you're putting them out there. I mean, again, how many better, unless you're in a real shallow league, how many teams have a better option than Tyree Kill right now, even if you move them down the depth chart. He still had the ability to break a plate at any time. So you just lower expectations, but I just don't see how you're benching Tyree Kill unless you're absolutely loaded at wide receiver. Adam Rona is joining us here on the Killer B's and speaking of lowered expectations. I'm kind of lowering my expectations for the commander's side and tonight's big Thursday night football match up, especially for the receiving game with Terry McClure and because the Eagles defense has just been elite this year. I mean, I believe they're top five against every position in fantasy football and been really good against the past after they invested heavily through the draft this last offseason. Where are you at with the commander's skill players tonight against the Eagles defense? - Yeah, look, if you have Terry McLaurin, I think you're putting him out there. He has the ability to put up numbers at any time. Yes, the Eagles secondary has been really good. Couple of looking back there, but last week, it wasn't impressive that they were limited Dallas. The week before, it was Jackson, though. That's an addy, they did a good job on. I'll give him a lot of credit there, helping the 17 inch of March 8th, nine catches for 54 yards, but then they had the Giants. So give them credit, they've turned the defense around, but it's not like they've gone up against top tier team. So McLaurin, I'm gonna start. I think Brian Robinson being back really helps them as well. So, there could be some points in this game tonight. So, yes, the League defense has been awfully impressive, but Washington's offense has produced all season long. So McLaurin, the guy, maybe you're not expecting a hundred yards tonight, but he's got a tough defense for me because he can have that big game at any point. And he has at least 98 receiving yards in three of the last four games. And he's had four 100 yard games this year. So that's a player that even in a tough matchup, I'm gonna roll out there. - What do you think of Audrick Estimae? And of course, we're catching you after the waiver, wire run, but do you think he's the truth? - A lot's gonna depend on whether this was a changing of the guard over this, a hot hand situation because he didn't start last week, but we have heard talk for the last couple of weeks that Sean Payton was heading in this direction where they really give that to me more of a chance. So I did pick him up in weeks where he was available. A couple of weeks, I am really hurting at running back and I need to take a chance somewhere. He was okay last week up and he impressed. The middle of the tough matchup against the Chiefs, they're on defense is really good. You just can't run on them. So 14 carries from 53 yards. So one issue is really not going to be involved in the passing game. That's probably still where they're gonna use Javonti, Williams, your William McLaughlin. So that's the only issue where he's gonna have to get it done with yards and touchdowns. But to me, he's in that RB 25 to 30 range this week and it always comes down to what your team looks like. So I have a couple of teams where I am starting them. I have another team where I'm not. - Adam, I'm curious with the bear situation, the OC change, we know everything seems to be in flux. All their skilled position players at the start of the year looked really, really good. And it looked like a lot of people could capitalize on a lot of weapons getting a lot of points. It looks like it's just the opposite now, regardless if Caleb is in there or not and how they play, their weapons don't seem to be what we thought they were gonna be. - Yeah, this has been embarrassing and it's been awful now. It's three straight games that they don't have a touchdown. And the worst part is the two last two games are against the Patriots and Cardinals who don't generate much of pressure on quarterback. Caleb, we've got back nine times last week. Yes, I know there's injury in the offensive line, but some of those sacks aren't him. This team is just functional right now. You can see the body language of DJ Moore is not positive. He's not happy. It's just a complete mess. And I don't know if the change in offense coordinator is going to help immediately. There's a lot to clean up here. And I had Caleb Williams on a couple teams going into here to see if it will work out and I'm completely done. And remember too, here's the thing with the Bears, their schedule is absolutely brutal the rest of the way. They have yet to play a division game. This is the first week that they're playing a division game against Green Bay. They have Green Bay, Minnesota, Detroit, San Francisco, Minnesota, Detroit, Seattle, and Green Bay. I don't know if they won another game. (laughing) - Adam Rohn is joining us here on the Killer B's. Adam, the Colts have flip-flopped back to Anthony Richardson. We've seen that be a problem for Colts receivers in the past with his low passing volume. What is the fantasy impact of this decision by the Colts? - Yeah, it's pretty massive because I had picked up 80 Mitchell a couple of weeks ago and I didn't have them in the lineup last week and he had that good game. And I said, "Oh, yes." I think I might have found a free agent, Waverwire, Jim. And then they announced Anthony Richardson with the quarterback and I said, "Oh, no, I don't think I can play him now." So I wanna wait and see, look, Mitchell is getting open consistently and we know Richardson can't throw a deep ball. The problem is half the time it's overthrown, some that's overthrown and a once in a while he connects. But we just haven't seen it consistently enough. So for right now, Josh Downs would be the only one I feel comfortable playing. We did see a little bit of a record between them. It looks like Michael Pittman's gonna return this week but I don't think that's beneficial for Pittman with Richardson at the quarterback. It obviously helps Jonathan Taylor. His numbers have been better and you have to worry about Richardson running so it throws a defense off. So I'm hoping that this little break here may be open the eyes of Richardson realizing, "Hey, I gotta pay attention to detail." I have to work harder. But we kinda need to see it first. And as disappointing as the Jets have been, they're not awful against the past. They're really more susceptible against the run. And they're two outside corners having been what we saw but they're not bad. So I'm only gonna play Josh Downs of the receivers and just hoping that Richardson can show some improvement. We saw it last year now. I know it was only four games and he left two of them early due to injury so we are dealing with a small sample. But sometimes people need a little joke to wake them up in. I'm interested to see how Richardson rebounds after watching Flacco destroy the team. Adam, what you got cooking up with the dub club this week? Yeah, we got a play on tonight's game.
