What do you think about your coach, man? Dumpster fire organization. Dumpster fire. So what's your solution? Burn to the ground. You just drafted a quarterback. You can't do that. I know I can't do that. You got too much talent to burn it down. Part too much. And that's part of the problem. Wild mismanagement at every level. You brought up the fire, Steichen thing. I want, I want to be pro Shane Steichen so bad. I like me as a good play caller. Um, sounds like he hasn't necessarily lost the locker room, but I like what you were saying about Anthony Richardson. So then it comes down to, you know, Jim or say who you riding with? Did you trust Shane Steichen in his ceiling long term more than you trust Anthony Richardson in his ceiling long term who has a higher floor? Shane Steichen or Anthony Richardson. I don't know and I don't know. I, I saw what they were going for in Richardson hasn't worked out, but I just go back to. There's no plan. Or the plan is changing and there doesn't seem a great rationale for it because if this is about the play on the field, if it's about 44% completion, if it's about, you know, only taking deep shots, if it's about taking hits when you run, you play through it. It's the young guy that hasn't started 20 games yet across college in the NFL, right? You live with it. You know who signed up for it, but if it's about, he doesn't know how to handle the locker room. He's not taking good enough notes. His work ethic isn't good enough. He's going to do it in real time baptism by fire and then bench him. It felt impulsive. It felt like they had a plane at the beginning that they weren't willing to stick to like it got tough and they panicked. It just seems like it's unnecessary drama, unnecessary egg on their face. It could have been avoided by picking a path being convicted and then sticking to it. Yeah, do you think it's more on the GM is stiking is your guy? I don't think he's lost a locker room. I think he he, depending on how these next few games go, you can lose Anthony Richardson. So you. And is that is that worth it? Is that OK? Are you not OK with that? I don't know. That's another fascinating eval just because he's drafted so well that free agency has been amiss year after year. And I mean, this stuff is happening with his approval. The whole Carson Wentz thing and now the Anthony Richardson thing or it's happening over his head, which tells me he doesn't have the backbone or the spying to stand up to her side. Well, you're at four and six two games behind Houston, which again, you know, volatile. We don't know. Big 10 west of that. Well, that's where I was headed that they're they're literally sitting in the same spot that a win this week. And then a win next week does for them what it does for Nebraska. Different conversations, a relaxing of sphincters celebration of sort, right? That if you can win Saturday and rascal win Saturday, oh, the sunshine's brighter. Wisconsin looks less daunting as a matter of fact, it's more inviting and actually kind of attractive. The Colts, if they can get a win this week and then and then find a way and hit 500. All of a sudden in a winnable division in a gettable division with a schedule that again, doesn't look as scary with when number five, right? And a young quarterback that is fluid, talented fluid, and we're still not quite there yet. Man, if I'm going to say it was somebody's gone. It's either baller or stiking. Well, I might find baller because you had longer. Yeah, but you hired the guy that was committed to developing this young dude and you two decided to pull the plug. Now, obviously Jim Ursay had to be OK with it. But when you're talking about playing part of the reason I'm hiring you as a GM and or as the coach is that you have a plan. The plan was to draft this dude way higher than he probably should. He came out of the depth of health beating, you know, a top five pick, but we picked him and we picked it. Yes, we picked them with the plan, assumption, and the conversation that you stiking coached Jalen Hertz who obviously I felt like Jalen Hertz is a farther ahead than him coming out of college. But you curtailed your offense to him after seeing the struggles from Jalen Hertz is rookie year to get him to the Super Bowl. And I was a led you to my to my my my my office and me hired as a head coach. Now you now granted did I want to they put too much into the pressure of the media because he tapped out. I don't know. I've never seen quarterback tap out. I don't understand like yeah, that was a long run, but call a run play the next get your second win. So you might be sports and professional immature he'll get there because he's a good kid. And obviously you've seen that the very next week he obviously has the respect and of those teammates. But my whole day is like, how can I trust you moving forward? I would say, you know, you got 10 hours to give me your plan for the rest of the season and it better be Trump type and you better stick to it. And that's fascinating because Anthony Richardson has to play this perfectly if that's his move. He has to know without any doubt at all beyond any shadow of a doubt that Jim Mercer likes him more than chainstiking. Because if anything Richardson says this I need a plan from you, then he's got to be OK with being traded. He's got to be OK with being somewhere else. And if he doesn't trust the coach, OK, fine, he might get what he wants. That Andy better be right that that ran thing Richardson is not the guy that Shane Steichen is. The faith in Richardson says, yeah, I don't like it here. Go ahead and trade me. And he's a bust. Cool to say, OK, sorry. Yep, sunk cost too bad. We'll go on to find the next one. Yeah, see, I think this is the pressure falls on Ursay. But Ursay's got to talk to him. I don't think Anthony Richardson number one has played well enough to go in there and demand anything. That's not the leverage. But you can definitely say something no matter who it is. Now, when you look at the the Colts roster, I mean, they are ready set to go to the playoffs. When you look at the roster, not a very old roster. Everybody essentially at their that their prime. They just haven't been playing well, so then that's why everything goes towards the coach. But the problem is this and we saw this with with the with the Panthers. Now you're going to go hire a coach that isn't necessarily married or wants to really develop the quarterback. So then you can't so now you're in this like holding pattern, you're in limbo. So still you better you better catch up to the rhythm of the music and you better make this work. So you better be working overtime to get the most out of Anthony Richardson to not let us save your job, but save the locker room and save the Colts organization because he has next level talent. Just doesn't have the experience and that's what happens when you draft people on that off of potential versus production. I like production versus potential. So we'll see.
