Well, we're back J-4 I'm in DP Austin, obviously I'm here. I'm on them deep underground, but quick saving here before we get to five o'clock hour. DP, women's basketball team, played that thing Southern. Obviously did what they needed to do. Unlike the last two years, obviously where they've been successful one year kind of got gypped on making an NCAA tournament. Last year ran into the buzz saw, which is Oregon State. With Kim O'Von Hoffman's daughter hitting the gang of threes, now she's at USC. What are your thoughts on the women's basketball team? Obviously starting off the season ranked 23, 21 now. Have the inside, outside prowess. You got the new blood in there with Brit Prince. You got widened her back, but they look pretty impressive against Southern. They looked, I felt they looked a little bit better. Don't let me forget Potts as well. I felt they looked more cohesive and obviously spread out the scoring versus the first game. Yeah, I mean there's still answers to be found. And then trying to figure out exactly what's the best five. I'm rimmed out all being a player that they're trying to figure out, okay, where does she belong in the rotation? How many minutes, who are you calling on in certain situations? And as the situations pop up, they're making some changes. Alison Weiner, the return of Alison Weiner, does some things from a solid standpoint, just a rock solid. She's rock solid. She's steady, she's forced. Her body's kind of matured into a big 10 players body. She doesn't look like a freshman anymore. Same for Kendall Moriarty, right? She and Kendall Moriarty both look like freshman players. They look, they still, they didn't have their grown up face yet. And they finally got theirs. And then you're trying to figure out because the same in place, Kendall Cole, it's the same thing, right? She had the baby face in big 10 play and it just looked weird. So through all of it, I love the fact that they have pieces. I'm not sure what those pieces are yet. I'm not sure. To put up an 84 burger last night was fine. I don't know that if the numbers, the shooting three numbers are what they should be. Meaning the volume, they're going to be some games in the big 10. We're 14 three. Can you simply do? Can you hold court? Can you just, can you hold serve? Can you hold water at home early in the season? Don't show me leakage. Like it's fairly Dickinson. Like that, it can't be. And here's the thing, the fairly Dickinson coach turns out I know his dad, work for his dad, D.C., works for the Castlebury family are renowned in sports broadcast and sports journalism in the DMV. So, he came in and he goes, "Yeah, I think you know my dad and my granddad." And I was like, "Yep." So, they were in the mill the last two days kind of hanging out and they're excited about playing in front of them. They're hoping it's a big crowd so they can get their players some looks and some different things. So, it's gonna be a fun night. Yeah, I mean, you know, it's fairly interesting that they just played up the road in Creighton and obviously hung with them for a little bit. So, they got the big stage, you know, brightness out of their system. And you're right about the, you know, the women's team that, you know, I think if you had all the answers right now, it might have been, I think it's a little bit too soon for this for any team, men's or women. I think they got to play into it. I think adjusting to Widener, being back, even though she's rock solid, she is the heart and soul of the team, along with Markowski and Potts. Everybody trying to figure out their role and then obviously the three-point shooting and I think is what we saw up close and personal last in NCAA tournament. Oregon State got hot, hit timely threes, you know, to be honest with you, I think, you know, when you, a good thing is if you can get elite. Well, we lost him. Yeah, not pulling through him.
