Follow and listen to First and Pod on Mondays and Fridays on the free Odyssey app or wherever you get your podcasts. (upbeat music) - Keal and Company, weekday morning, six till 10. - Friday morning, November the 15th, Christmas music blaring out in the halls of our business. I don't know about everybody else's. - I got off the elevator, I heard a wham. I said, "Here we go again." (laughing) "Ah, this cruise was catchy." - You like that? - I'm still trying to pay off last Christmas as bills. (laughing) - November 15th, we're already doing it. So we have in the news this morning, several people injured when a school bus and a pickup truck collided. This is Lower Marion Township, Montgomery County. So we're still getting information as far as the investigation on this crash happened. About 5.30 last evening in the area of County Line Road and Bucksmont Road. So we know that the police were called-- - It's Lower Moreland, not Lower Marion. - Oh, I apologize. - Yeah. - Lower Moreland Township. - Thank you. - Thank you, sir. - You're welcome. - So we have-- - But I'm here for it. - We are just working to rescue the truck driver who had been wedged underneath that school bus. And so there were cars starting to pile up there. The police were there, first responders were there as they were trying to safely pull this man out. So a lot of community efforts, great work by the local police there in Lower Moreland Township. This is Montgomery County in the Berbs. So officials saying an activity bus was actually transporting Lower Moreland Township school students at the time of that crash, and they say at least one student suffered minor injuries. So we have that going on. The crash itself remaining under investigation. They said there weren't many students on the bus. This is not right after school. It's 5.36 o'clock in the evening. So they did say that school counselors will be available for students on Friday. If anybody wants to talk about that, so they put that out there. They have any questions. We have Philadelphia Police making a big announcement here, the arrest of a suspect in connection to a shooting of five teenagers. This is a killing company news live follow up because this has been investigation. This has been under investigation since the summer. It was actually Flag Day, if you remember it, mid June, June 14th, in fact, Greenland Drive, Fairmount Park. This was that pop-up party with hundreds of attendees. And so now we have word of some arrests. 17-year-old Isya Stanley was killed when those two suspects were just, you know, shooting at each other during a huge party. - Yeah, these are the ones that we kind of, I think we had the discussion during one of your newscasts right around when this happened, that these are all coordinated through social media, right? These are not coincidences. These are just not random organic things that just start with one person and balloon into 500. They're all calculated and planned. And then things get out of hand. And of course, we have tragedy. - Yeah, and that's part of, in many ways, that's how police, that's part of their investigation. Now, Sander is looking through social media, looking through all of their social media, looking online to try to track these individuals. So they did hold a news conference yesterday and they did announce the arrest of a 17-year-old who they're naming. So that tells you that that person is facing charges as an adult, but this is 17-year-old Zaeon Carroll, who is accused of being one of the gunmen involved in that situation. They're still searching for that second suspect. But again, they're crediting great police work, as well as the communities help. They've received a lot of tips on this one to bring this arrest, at least one arrest so far in the case. Because a lot of times this does take the cooperation. If nobody cooperates, and we often say, why isn't anybody cooperating? Because they're afraid of retribution. But we had not only one 17-year-old killed. I should mention there were many others injured in that situation, so we have that going on. I just want to update you, because I've been reporting on this all week with what's going on with the Senator Bob Casey Jr., his recount, as I had reported he did not sign a waiver by that deadline that we had talked about. And thus, the recount goes on. This involves the race with Senator Elect, as he's been called, then called Republican, Dave McCormick. So they filed legal action. We had told you about that. We can update you on a lot of this. So there's further legal action. This is going on in Bucks County. We know there was action regarding Montgomery County. And what they're trying to do, in essence, is try to stop these counties from counting those undated or misstated mail-in ballots. Some of them are provisional ballots. They're just not legal, and attorneys arguing in court that, in fact, these types of issues have already been ruled on. We have precedent. And so now, Republicans are claiming that this is about public confidence that only legitimate votes should be included in any election results. - He and his party and his lawyers seem to be the only one still fighting this. Decision desk HQ called it officially yesterday around 2.30 saying, "It's over. You lost." Dave McCormick is your winner. - Well, I don't know. - Well, the County Democrat commissioners are-- - Bucks GOPOs are going to people last night. They're, I mean-- - You want to play this? This is cut two. This is Bucks County Democrat commissioners violate the rule of law, and ignore the PA Supreme Court ruling. Democrat commissioner Diana Margaliza. Is that how you say it? - Margaliz. - And Bob Harvey voted today to count illegal ballots against the PA Supreme Court ruling in an attempt to aid former Senator Bob Casey. - So these are the Democrats. There's two Democrats. There's one Republican. - This is cut two, Phil. - The category is a D's balance. - Your motion is to reject or dismiss the challenges in this category in front of you? - Correct, yep. - Not going to second that, mostly because I think we all know that precedent by a court doesn't matter anymore in this country, and people violate laws any time they want. So for me, if I violate this law, it's because I want a court to pay attention to it. - President doesn't matter anymore. What is she implying there? Is she referencing something that I'm missing? Since when does precedent not matter? - You know what? I'm going to put that on my phone. If you're ever like, you know, if you're pulled over for speeding or doing anything, any infraction whatsoever, you rob a bank. Just need a little cash. - Yeah. - You play her audio there. - Yeah, precedent doesn't matter, apparently. - Doesn't matter? - Oh, okay. - I'm pulling attention to it, my colleague. - A court rules on something, and then, you know, maybe it goes to an appellate court, and then it goes to a state supreme court, and then it goes to the supreme court of the United States, the court of last resort, the highest court in the land, and whatever it might be. Yeah, we have precedent. The hell is she talking about? Why are they so, I'm not a rhetorical question, I guess, 'cause you know, Casey and the family, they've been around 400,000 years. I don't understand, keep going. Just wait the flag, dude. You lost. It's over. Casey also came out and spoke, and he's refusing to concede, and he's like, "We're gonna count all the votes." Cut one, throw. - Well, the mechanics of that are governed by state law, so I'm pretty afraid of that. But it's a process that's been invoked in 20 years, so seven or eight times. So this is pretty, not the ordinary. So we just count all the votes. - What a lifeless, unlikable individual. (laughing) - Now, we should point out, remember. - Sorry, I turned off my own microphone. Sorry, are your microphone? - Okay, remember back in the day, Dave McCormick, in that tight horrible, remember that horrible nasty Senate race with Dave McCormick, he was the one, in essence, who he has triggered an ask for a recount before. So I should point that out, that there was a case with Dave McCormick where the last time around, he, in fact, wanted a recount. So to be fair, in this one, the difference is that it has been called, because if you look at all the counts and the way that they're going, all of the experts are saying there's nothing's going to change. So the estimates are, and they're all over the place, but at the minimum, this recount costs $1 million. At the max, it looks like three plus million. And I don't know why it's that big of a variant, perhaps they're thinking about all the attorneys and the court fights to follow. Maybe that's what that, maybe that's that reasoning, but I can't nail down an exact cost of the actual recount. So. - I'll tell you, if Pennsylvania ever ends up with another Republican governor, we're gonna need a department of government efficiency at the state level to stop this ridiculous spending of taxpayer dollars on stuff like this. - But you know, it's not just Bucks County, I should point out, and I've reported this this week that we're looking at this, but it's also Philadelphia County. It's also Montgomery County. So there are other counties that are being accused now and all these RNC lawyers. And I know Sean Farish at one point, last time in social media is like, where's the RNC? Because he's not here with us. We've been talking about this. The RNC attorneys, they are on top of this. They are in court. So just so you know, this is not a case where, oh, the GOP is getting played. This is a legitimate court battle with these four counties. There are different issues going on. Number one, that the court battle is that they're fighting in court saying, hey, you guys are counting on dated or unsigned and that way illegal ballots. - Yeah, it's one thing to ask for a recount. It's another thing to ask for a recount. And then your reasoning behind it is, we want you to count illegal ballots. No, no. - So we've got that going on. So they have to have it counted by noon of November 26th. And then they have to report it by the next day, the 27th. So that's what we're looking at. We won't know until November 27th, the actual recount result. So there you have it. We do know the result of our Eagles as we talked about up. Look at our good lawyer Linda Kearns. She also is just saying that she also filed in Philadelphia late last night. This is breaking news for you, Philadelphia commissioners voting to count the illegal ballots. And that's, so that's going on. So she's saying that these filings are continuing in real time. Thank you to our RNC Attorney, Election Integrity Attorney, the great Linda Kearns, who of course loves Elvis. (laughing) So the Eagles are all shook up. So Eagles, this is so great. Saquon Barkley rushing for 146 yards, 2/4. Is he, you know, here's the thing, you look at that and you think about who's getting fired, who let him go. I don't care what anybody says from the Giants, they're fired. - Yeah, they're looking at this going, oh my God. - They're front office. Is that, is that, is that Gettelman? Now Gettelman's gone, I forget who the GM is. - The problem with the, the Giants is that they didn't have anybody around, so he was, he was wasted on that team 'cause he didn't have anybody around them. - He didn't have a quarterback. - And a couple of injuries as well, right? - Yeah, yeah, yeah, he was very angry. But yeah, here, here's a little bit of everyone. - Free receivers, slot to the inner side of the field. They have to get to the 46, back goes Hertz. Hertz looks, dumps it over the middle. Complete, Barkley, 50, 45, 40, 35, 30, 25, 20. Down to the same team, Barkley! (laughing) - He had to tell you what, Barkley bailed them out because Jake Elliott sucked last night. - Didn't he? - Missed field goals, missed extra points. - Here is Jake Elliott to add the 13th point. Wallace spotted, kick us up, and the kick is no good. (crowd cheering) - Oh my goodness. - Watch, watch, watch his reaction, and it's all that you need to know. - I feel for him. (laughing) - I feel for Jake Elliott. - I need that on the board, Joey, I feel for him. (laughing) - First extra point missed this season. - Mike up there. - I'm beginning to wonder if Jake took the commander's plus four. (laughing) - I gotta say though, the Eagles defense, wow, they shined in there. - They hit Matt jail and Carter, kid. God, he can eat. - Here's Reed Blankenship. - On first down, Daniel's goes back. He lets it fly. It's intercepted, it's intercepted by Blankenship. I believe he glowed it. (crowd cheering) - Yes. - Yes. - I can't tell. (laughing) - His third, outstanding job of scooping this ball up. He's trying to decide whether to get up and try to run, or just be okay with the interception. - And the defense is celebrating in the end zone. - The defense just, by the way, thank you, that sound all courtesy of our sister station 94WIP. - Ah, is that where that came from? - Oh, we didn't know. - Look, some of the audience might not even know who Meryl Reese is. - No, that's impossible. - You never know. - You know, just to jazz up the recount, 'cause what if we had Meryl Reese and Mike Wade in the court there with Linda Kerns, and all the attorneys are very, oh, I think he's got another one. - Here's Casey. He's looking at the unsigned ballots. - Is asleep, is there a way? - There's no dates on him. (laughing) - When did Debye elections become a trendy, fashionable thing? Back in my day when Randall and Jaws were here, and Ed Rondell ran the city, and then the state, it was different. (laughing) - That is awesome. (laughing) - I think we have a bid here. - Okay. (laughing) - Oh my gosh. - The Meryl Reese political moment. - Yeah. (laughing) - Man. - Well, that's the moment. - When you look at the swing states, Mike, I can't believe that Trump took all seven. (laughing) But how does that impact my life inside of Blue Bell Country Club? (laughing) - This is too sweet. This is so good. - And when will they fix Route 202? (laughing) The potholes are staggering. (laughing) - Whew. Well, 45 degrees, we're gonna heat up to 60 degrees today, partly sunny skies, warming up for the weekend, 63 degrees, both day Saturday and Sunday, bright sunny skies, Saturday, a little more clouds and sun on Sunday. Looks like the next chance for any measurable rain is next Thursday. We might get some rain. Still dry, killin' company, news live. - All right, thank you very much. Dodd, could you imagine a 2028 ticket with Josh Shapiro and John Fetterman? (laughing) - Wow. - The GOP would be in dire straits. - That's a barrel, that's a bold prediction. - Whew. - All right, 621, let's get to a Friday big take. - The big take on killing company. - All right, today's big take, schooling to the Department of Education, locally and nationally from coast to coast, parents, they want their children to receive a great education, not indoctrination. It was October 17th of 1979, Jimmy Carter, then president of the United States, launched the Department of Education. And since then, countless funds have been pumped into our schools, and yet when you compare our kids' education to other nations globally, we've fallen way behind. In 2025, I hope Donald Trump comes through with his vow to blow up the Department of Education. It's long past due. Here's what Trump said during his campaign. Listen and watch. - And one other thing I'll be doing very early in the administration is closing up the Department of Education in Washington, D.C. and sending all education and education work and needs back to the states. We want them to run the education of our children because they'll do a much better job of it. You can't do worse. We spend more money per pupil by three times than any other nation. And yet we're absolutely at the bottom. We're one of the worst. So you can't do worse. We're going to end education coming out of Washington, D.C. We're going to close it up. All those buildings all over the place. And you have people that in many cases hate our children. We're going to send it all back to the states. Thank you very much. - You can only go up from here, right? Send it back to the states. Leave the federal government out of it. The media and the teachers unions across the country, beginning to panic as Trump's inauguration day approaches. Headlines like these are everywhere. Axios writes, "What happens if Trump eliminates "the Department of Education?" The New York Times writes, "Is it possible "for Trump to shut down the Department of Education?" MSNBC, Trump pledges to abolish education departments citing landslide mandate. Kelly Rosinger is an associate professor of education and public policy at Penn State. And she told Axios the following, quote, "Abolishing the department and the accompanying changes "in an effort to strip the federal government "of any ability to do good as a way to justify "further defunding our public schools "and colleges would be a disservice to our children." But if you think about it, based on where American students rank academically, compared globally to their peers, I'd argue you're not doing any good to begin with. In fact, you're failing. And don't get me started on these absurd ideologies on college campuses, especially in regards to the rising anti-Semitism. You know, Ronald Reagan, he threatened to eliminate the Department of Education, but never came through. If Trump could pull it off, I think his predecessor would be proud. Thomas Massey, Republican Congressman from Kentucky, said, quote, "Unelected bureaucrats in Washington, D.C. "should not be in charge of our children's intellectual "and moral development while introducing a bill "to kill the department." While not impossible, Trump's odds of pulling this off are very small. According to Politico, Trump would need a super majority of votes in the Senate, which is 60. Republicans currently have a 53-47 advantage. But Trump could handle the Title IX crisis much more easily. Polymarket gives him a two-in-one chance, a 66% chance of accomplishing just that. Which of course would mean ending the ability for biological men who identify as female to play in women's sports, go in women's locker rooms, or in women's bathrooms. This is a major issue right now in the Bucks County School District, which is under Democrat control on the school board level. Here's one man at the most recent school board meeting, providing context to the growing issue in American schools for biological females, and it's happening obviously right here in our own backyard in Bucks County. Listen and watch this. - One of the things there's a study that just came out in the UN back two weeks ago. A new study from the UN Special Rapporteur on the Violence Against Women and Girls was recently presented to the UN. The study found that violence against girls and women in sports that in fact more than 600 female athletes have lost competitors who were born male in a variety of athletic results in female athletes losing almost 900 medals to trans opponents. According to the information, as of March 24, over 600 female athletes, and over 400 competitions have lost more than 890 medals in 29 different sports. The replacement of female sports category, the mixed sex category, has resulted in an increasing number of female athletes losing opportunities, including medals when competing against males. The study also points out to the obvious biological advantages concerning males. We've already gone over that. I think that's well, I mean, as far as the Democrats always call themselves the party of science, I wonder where the science is involved there. - It's a great point by a concerned citizen who has done his research, and he's right. I thought the Democrats were the party of science. Didn't you tell us during the pandemic to trust the science? And I thought the Democrats were the party of women. Wasn't the selection in many regards about men versus women? Bucks County, now a red county, and I hope that that school districts run of blue governance is short-lived, because they are out of their ever-loving minds. And why do I want politics and government out of public schools? Well, let's go from Bucks County all the way out to California. As parents went off on a California public school teacher who had a meltdown and threw a temper tantrum in class after Donald Trump won the election. Here is a Hispanic mother putting that teacher on full blast, listen and watch this. - Cool, can you ensure every parent that is in the teacher's classroom that did all of those racial outbursts will not be bullied? Can you guarantee that no child that has that teacher, that father or grandfather voted for President Trump, will they be bullied? And so what are you going to do about it? It is time that the schools, the school districts, stopped tolerating hate speech in class. There should be zero tolerance for hate speech to say that a Hispanic man wants to be white. That is a racial, sorry, I'm offended. Look at me, Ghana, I am Chicana, I am indigenous and my family voted for Trump. I have family members that also voted for Kamala Harris but does that give me an excuse or anyone else the reason to racially attack them? No, it doesn't. What are you going to do about this teacher because he should be fired? There should be zero tolerance for hate speech and ma'am, you really need to stop with the grinning, all I see is a rule full of parents that are very angry. You need to be a respect for all of you need to be reminded. You are public servants, the people pay for you to be there and the people can remove you quickly. You need to remind yourselves that what are you going to do with children starting bullied because of that hate speech that this teacher was saying in the classroom? Again, can you guarantee any of the parents that their child will not be bullied? Because now you weren't put on notice. If any child is harassed because of the disgusting rhetoric that was put in the class, now you are legally put on notice. Thank you. (audience applauding) Thank you right now. - Amen to that, ma'am. There were countless parents, mostly of Latino descent there who voted for Trump who stood up for their children who had to endure a white teacher ranting and raving about Donald Trump winning the election and making it about race. You can see more of the videos from a man named Corey Deangelis who's a big advocate for school choice. You can follow his work on social media. He's also written a book about parental rights called The Parent Revolution. But Title IX and banning dudes from women's sports will be easier for Trump to pull off than just eviscerating the Department of Education. And I think that's going to happen relatively quickly. I think by the time the 2025 school year starts next fall, it'll be in place, but abolishing the Department of Education is a total long shot. I doubt that that will happen. But then again, Donald Trump was given a 2% chance to beat Hillary Clinton eight years ago. And as the old poker adage goes, all you need is a chip and a chair. It's all you need. I wouldn't doubt Trump. He's the five odds countless times before. And that's the big take. (whooshing) The big take on tailing company. All right, big take this morning. If you want to jump in your thoughts and reaction to the Department of Education, Title IX, locally across the nation, you can certainly do so. 855-839-1210, the phone number. [MUSIC PLAYING] It's these crazy teachers across the country that are ranting and raving in classrooms in front of kids about Donald Trump winning the election or if it's Title IX stuff locally here in Bucks County. It was great. Dan Barrowski, thank you for sending me the clip of that teacher or I was not the teacher, the concerned citizen, and parent, or grandfather in Bucks County. It was a Vimeo video that was like over an hour long from the school board meeting. And I just wanted to give you 60 seconds on that man's presentation because I think maybe you've done. Did you play some of that on your show yesterday, I think Dan told me? Because I was updating it during the morning as far as that meeting and then we aired some of the sound from the actual meeting. Any takeaways from that meeting or just the department? By the way, do you think the Department of Education is something that Trump can really send back to the states? It seems like a great idea, but a little bit more difficult than just doing a Title IX ban. Well, I would say as far as locally, I just remember what happened. We all thought the red wave was coming in Bucks County, that school board, and we're seeing this in real time what's happening, that a lot of these suburban so-called color counties that went to the Democrats or a majority of Democrats. And so how does this all shake out as we now know everything that has gone on and how they're voting and then you still have, remember, Bucks County is the county where, for example, some of the moms who filed freedom of information requests like Meg Brock, for example, but she's not alone. There were others in Chester County, Montgomery County, Bucks County, that are still fighting through the courts on some of these issues, believe it or not, because these counties do not want to give up that information. And so now people are learning all of this, will that impact local elections moving forward? And how does that look? As far as Department of Education, I just think that what they've been showing is that we have this bloated, bureaucratic government that's not really serving us. And it's a great idea, and I don't understand why people would push back against that, that aren't involved directly, like with teachers unions, the Randy Wine Gardens of the world, send it to the states, and much like abortion and other issues, it'll be governed on a state-by-state basis. And yes, there will be some sort of political bias. If you live in a red state, you're not gonna have the indoctrination and the left-wing stuff. If you live in a blue state, a super-hyper-liberal state, like California, although all of a sudden you see what Trump did in the election, California looks more red than it's looked in a long time, you're gonna have more of a liberal slant and a liberal-leaning bias in those states. And then obviously the battleground states will probably be more right down the middle. I have no problem with that now, thanks to Politico with a column, you have to have a 60-seat super-majority, Trump and the Republicans do not have that in the Senate right now with 53 to 47. So it seems very far-fetched, but I'm all for blowing up things that don't work because to me, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. And when Jimmy Carter created the Department of Education 45 years ago, I mean, Reagan wanted to get rid of it, Trump wants to get rid of it, and all the money, you talk about the Department of Government Efficiency, I mean, you could just, the amount of the millions and millions of dollars that we're spending on each individual student. And I think, Thorne, you've given the number locally. What are we spending per child in the state? - Well, there have been investigations on this, so I believe it was Todd Shepherd is one of the investigative reporters who's looked into this and who actually testified in before our Pennsylvania legislature. So it's, well, if you count all of the monies, the local money, state-level money and federal money, Pennsylvania students get more than $22,000 per student with all of those tax dollars if you look at that investigation. And I see your point about all of this. I think a piece of this is, think about all the money flying around, whether it's money to you, every time we turn around, we hear about all these, you know, billion here, billion there. And I think that did have an effect on here in Philadelphia. A lot of, I've just heard so many different parents saying, it is unacceptable that we don't have working each back, that we have all this asbestos that the kids, and we saw it this fall, reporting on it, that they didn't even have air conditioning, you know, on some 90 degree days. - We got to send them home and they just came back to school. - It just came back with all the learning laws. And so I think there is a mood in the country to make government accountable. What does that look like? And, you know, the other piece of it, I'm just going to say, even though I agree that it's interesting to me that somebody like Elon Musk, who's a data guy, he and Vivek Ramaswami are going to be looking through filing separate reports, and then one large report, apparently, within a year and a half to the Trump administration, that was during one of Trump's recent speeches. But, you know, these billionaires issuing recommendations to lay off or fire federal workers by the thousands, what will that look like? Right before, and think about the timing of that during the next wave of municipal elections. - Yep, absolutely. 855-839-1210, that's how you jump in. Rich is in the Northeast. He's on talk radio at 1210. Hello, Rich. - Good morning, folks. Thank you for what you're doing. That was a brilliant piece of bit for the gal in California. - Yep. - I told the call screener, I lived in California. I've been through that, ridiculousness. My father was a school teacher. I listened to that liberal progressive stuff in the '70s, in the '80s. It's been going on a long time, and it's high time we did something about it to stop it. And I voted for Trump, obviously. And you guys are on the right track, and I appreciate it. I told the screener, I'm about 90 miles north of you guys, and you're actually pulling me away from my radio guy up here. - Oh! - A little bit. - Okay. - A little bit. - Wait, I don't want to pull too hard. - Rich, Rich, Rich, what can we do to make it a lot? (laughs) - Listen, my father's family lived in Philadelphia. They, so I spent some time in Philly in the '60s and the '70s, and in Philly, whatever you guys can do to bring Philly back would be terrific with what you guys have on a radio, because people need to come back to common sense. - There you go. - Amen. - All right, thank you, brother. Appreciate the call, keep watching. - Thank you. - You got it. - I'll just say this really quick, I was talking to my sister-in-law last night, Kathleen, and she was talking about Philadelphia. And she says, you know, she had voted for Casey Jr.'s father, first couple of times pro-life. She's a Republican, she's a conservative, but she said, you know, I actually voted for him because of his dad, the first, maybe the first time he ran, and he's not his father. And she talked about that perspective of what Rich just said. Philadelphia, the fact that the Macy's, there's their rumors that they might shut that down. She said, Philadelphia is such a great, beautiful city. She said, I can't remember the last time I've gone into the city. Hate to hear that, hope we can bring it back. - Yeah, I agree. Amen to that. 855-839-1210, if you wanna jump in, if you wanna become a big-time listener of this show, we'll pull you away from any show, any station in any city, in any market, how's that sound? We'll take you from sports stations, we'll take you from music stations. You just come out here and hang out with Uncle Nick, Anton, and Gregy, all right? (laughing) All right, let's get to Bobby, shall we? This is, this is, I, if I think I know the mainstream media, like I think I do, they are going to be in their feelings this morning. They are gonna be eulogizing the Department of Health and Human Services Science, the day science officially no longer matter, the day that science entrusting the experts died because RFK Jr. is now heading up the Department of Health and Human Services, Trump yesterday, making that official saying, quote, "I am thrilled to announce Robert F. Kennedy Jr." as the United States Secretary of Health and Human Services, for too long Americans have been crushed by the industrial food complex and drug companies who have engaged in deception, misinformation, and disinformation when it pertains to public health. The safety and health of all Americans is the most important role of any administration, and the HHS will play a big role in helping ensure that everybody will be protected from harmful chemicals, pollutants, pesticides, pharmaceutical products, and food additives that have contributed to the overwhelming health crisis in this country. Mr. Kennedy will restore these agencies to the traditions of gold standard scientific research and the beacons of transparency to end the chronic disease epidemic, and we will make America great and healthy again. It's amazing when you look at this from multiple levels, right? You've got big food, you've got big pharma. Stalker mentioned it in the beginning of the show. You've got obesity, you've got diabetes, you've got cancer, you've got cardiovascular disease, we have a mental health epidemic in this country, and what do we do? We advertise pharmaceuticals, we have protection and they are not held liable for all the adverse side effects, and what's the solution, pills? Just give everybody more pills, right? Instead of cutting down your food portions and eating smarter, eating cleaner, and getting your fat ass on a treadmill, what do we do? Oh, oh, zimp it. Well, let me just jab a needle into my crockpot that's popping out of my stomach and I'll try to lose 50 pounds because I'm too lazy, right, I don't have the time. No, you have the time to be on Facebook though, scrolling and swiping all day long until you get a carpal tunnel syndrome. Stop being lazy. So I'm all for this. I know they're gonna label them anti-vax, vaccine skeptic, but I just, when I see the pushback, and I just wanna highlight one person, we mentioned her a few days ago because she's ranting and raving over every selection Trump makes for his administration, Liz Warren says, "R.F.K. Jr. poses a danger to public health, scientific research, medicine, and healthcare coverage for millions. He wants to stop parents from protecting their babies from measles and his ideas would welcome the return of polio. I have a lot of questions for his Senate hearing. By the way, did you know, according to opensecrets.com, you can see which politicians bring in money from certain industries. Liz Warren, in 2019 and 2020, raked in 821 grand from pharmaceutical and health products. Oh, Ailey! On top of her cush, I don't know, $180,000 salary. She made almost a million dollars in big pharma. How do politicians get ritual? This is one way of that. Listen, I wanna say this 'cause I've been very critical of R.F.K. Jr. and I am going to continue to be critical of R.F.K. Jr. However, and this is not an endorsement of every view he has because I think that for the large part, a lot of what he's saying about vaccines is not true. However, the stuff that he says about food and natural immunity and all of this stuff that we, you were labeled a cooke and conspiracy theorist if you said during COVID, a lot of that turned out to be true. The herd immunity stuff. The get outside and get some freaking fresh air. The sunlight, all of that stuff that you were labeled a cooke if you said in 2020 or 2021, now all of a sudden is panning out to be true. And look at our health records. Look at the health of the American people. It is an epidemic. It's at epidemic levels and nobody wants to talk about it. Nobody wants to talk about it. We wanna talk about guns and we wanna talk about this and we wanna talk about that. But nobody wants to talk about the fact that we're off fattest houses where we can't get, you know, 70% of our children couldn't be in the military because of health issues. We're killing ourselves because of the crap we put in our body and the medicine that these big pharma companies give us. - Yes, yes. The only person that's made more money from pharmaceutical companies is Bernie Sanders. 1.4 million, the man who hates capitalism, you know, the guy that also charges 95 bucks for a copy of his autograph book. Yeah, and then the other thing too is I saw a lot of people tweeting yesterday about, you know, how dangerous Bobby Kennedy is. And I'm thinking, wait a minute. So when we talk about trusting the experts and trust the science, think about, and you mentioned, you know, a little bit there with COVID. We were told that the vaccine is 100% safe and effective. Not true. They were either lying or they were dead wrong. Either way, indefensible, right? Then we talk about masks help slow the spread. We've seen countless studies across the globe that show masks made no difference. And then when we talk about the, remember when Fauci was going around and saying, if you get the shot, the virus dies with you. You can't spread it. They were wrong categorically on everything or they knew and they lied. And then on top of all of it, the mandates were so infuriating, violating our rights as Americans. To me, like I have no problem with Bobby. And again, I don't agree with Kennedy on a lot of things. I mean, I thought he would be a nice guy for Trump to add a nice, if he could swing some independence in Trump's favor. And I don't even know that I necessarily need him leading the Department of Health and Human Services. Even if he was just in an advisory role, he is right on some things. And the garbage we put into our bodies. I mean, Dawn, you talk about it all the time, just the ingredients when you're just shopping. Like if you become a conscientious grocery shopper, you'll realize all the crap on the back of the boxes that kills us, right? - I do this, I do this to my poor husband when he goes to like a wholesale club. And he goes, look at all those boxes of whatever cereal with the red dyes and the, I don't know, bromo, fall off, you can't pronounce. - You can't pronounce exactly. - So I'm like, oh, let's look up this ingredient that I'm looking at causes cancer band and band in like every other, every other first world country, except us. - Yes. - You know? - And the stuff that's out there that has not been approved by the FDA. - Coming up at 745, I wanna play for you. And I don't, I want you to, you know, 'cause you hear this in the media all the time about R.K. Jr. and like he's being painted in wonder. But if you really listen to what he's saying over food and food editors and the poisons and stuff, he said it to Trump about McDonald's. - Yes. - The crap that we're putting in our body, he is a hundred percent dead on. And guys, I said this at 6 a.m. I'm gonna say it again. Like what we're doing now is not working. We are killing ourselves. Cancer rates are through the roof, heart disease, all that stuff are through the roof. And it's, and it's, you know, we're not healthy. We're not a healthy society. So anything in there to kind of break this up a little bit and maybe say, hey, you know what? Maybe general mills and all, and fruit loops and all the crap that we eat. Maybe it's not, maybe it's not the best for us. Maybe we should eat more healthy stuff rather than this. Nobody wants to say that because of these big lobbies. - Yep. And look, I'm not interested in a lot of the sideshows and theatrics, so I'll be consistent with this. And I've railed on Marjorie Taylor Greene for doing power cleans in her garage. But just watch Bobby Kennedy when he does bench presses. And remember the video we saw when everybody was training during the primaries? Bobby Kennedy, how old is he seven? I forget what it is. 70? - 70. - He looks like he's 30 and complaining the NFL. - I want to know what, is he taking... - He's probably taking something. - He's like, yeah. - Peptides and like the hormones. - He's probably, yeah, he's probably taking HGH. Yeah, but like he's been... - That's just John Belair's creatine. It's a little luster. - Yeah. - Super size. - Yeah, yeah, he's not just going to GNC and making protein shakes. Yeah, I trust me. There are so many natural things that we could be doing. - Yes. - Rather than, you know, where everybody's like, oh my God, COVID, everything lock yourselves in your house and wear masks and get the spray down the mail with bleach and packages. If we would've just said, hey, everybody, you know, get outside, get some fresh air. This virus won't spread outdoors. If we would've done more of that, I think we would've been in a better place. - Oh, yeah. - I think it's going to take guys like RK Jr. to lead us down these paths of more natural things rather than, well, there's a pill for that. Well, there's a pill for that. If that pill doesn't make you better. Here's another pill. Oh, by the way, this pill makes you fat as a house. So there's going to be a pill for that, too. Here's some of those that thing. - Well, Ben, I mean, if we find out, if he proves, 'cause he's a lawyer, he's not a doctor, he's a lawyer, and he's, he is a widely respected attorney as far as environmental. He's taking companies like Monsanto to court and won against that. - And the left loved him when he was doing that for the environment. They loved him. - But they shot him when he starts talking about autism, right? - Well, he's wrong with that. But I'm just saying, then do we get, like, is it like a class action lawsuit? Like, what do we get out of it? You know, if people say, wait a minute, I was feeling horrible about myself, and I was trying to diet, and I was eating all this processed diet foods, and it couldn't lose the weight, and then it's like this cruel thing, then does everybody get, like, what does everybody get out of that? - Yep, yep. - Rather than just change, do you know what I'm saying? - Yeah, absolutely. - Do we get damages? - These people have been so wrong about so many things. I'm just thinking back to the pandemic when I was down in Nashville, the SEC decided to play college football with stadiums in 2020, and then they went back to full stadiums in 2021, and they left in the mainstream media where, oh my God, there's 103,000 Trump supporters watching Alabama play Georgia. It's a super spreader event. And all those people ended up being just fine. 855-839-1210, Donald have some news to kick off our number two, and then Matt Gates, a lot of pushback, is he going to be confirmed in the Senate a very interesting next-level theory from a fellow radio host that I want to float out because I wouldn't rule this out. It's Kale & Company, and we're back after this. - You know, DuckDuckGo, which is a free browser that provides the most comprehensive online privacy protection in one cute little app with a little DuckDuckGo, powerful privacy protections by default, including its search engine that does not track you at all. I've talked about it for years, local company that started out locally, and every time you use DuckDuckGo, it's as if you've never been there before. Millions of people use DuckDuckGo as their go-to browser to protect their everyday online activities from searching to browsing, let's say, emailing and more. And you know, I've used it for years, but this is why when I heard about Privacy Pro from DuckDuckGo, you know, I had to try it out, and so far, I love it. This is a three-in-one privacy subscription service that really helps protect your personal information from being exploited by those hackers, those scammers, those privacy-invasive companies. And as I say, it's from DuckDuckGo, which I've known for years, so that's why I trusted it. That's why I wanted to try it, 'cause I've been impressed so far with the original product. So Privacy Pro, DuckDuckGo has a VPN. What does that mean? It secures your Wi-Fi connection, and that means I've talked about this. Whether we go on a trip, we're out of town, we're at a hotel. I'm getting my hair done. I pull up, it says, "Not a secure connection," and then you think to yourself, "We'll could possibly go wrong," right? And maybe you've done that, where you've said, "Nah, what's gonna happen?" I was in the coffee shop the other day, you know? And so you think all the time, you look all the time around, right? You look around and you say, "Well, am I safe in this environment?" But I'm not talking about a physical person that you can see, this is an invisible predator that can essentially invade your privacy anytime, anywhere, so I think of Privacy Pro as like the Rambo of privacy companies. And so for personal information removal, this is one thing that I love, and on desktop devices, whether it's Mac or Windows, I will tell you, we're all public people nowadays, okay? So with social media, all of that, it's just search your name online. I'm telling you, you may be shocked at what you find, how many of these sites are selling your information about you, Privacy Pro is gonna help you remove your personal information from those creepy sites so they cannot share it or sell it. And when I talk about the VPN, so your Wi-Fi connection is safe, that's anywhere, anytime, they also have this identity theft restoration. So if your identity gets stolen, this has happened to me twice. Excuse me, DuckDuckGo Privacy Pro is actually going to help you restore it. So here's the thing, you can get all of this for $9.99 a month. As my listener, go to DuckDuckGo.com/1210, you'll get a seven day free trial on us. DuckDuckGo.com/1210, do this, try it out. Tell 'em to all and say it to you. Think about that, right? A guy that has gone through his own health battles, a stroke and post stroke in recovery has made more and more sense each and every day. Very interesting conversation that he had with one of the local based political writers here in Philadelphia, Holly Otterbine. We'll get to that story coming up. And also Disney facing backlash over the woke Snow White's anti-Trump comments. Probably not the best business decision when you've got a movie coming out in 2025 and you want people to watch it. We'll hit on that story and whether or not the view is ready to add more pro-Trump voices. Or actually a first pro-Trump voice. Because it's weird, they claim they have two Republicans on the stage, on the set, right? - Alyssa Farah Griffin and Ana Navarro. Yet, I don't think I, now at least Alyssa Farah Griffin, I know was a Republican or is a Republican even though it's not pro-Trump. - But she campaigned right here in Montgomery County. She was one of those women against Trump. - Right, yeah. - That was Cheney. - Yeah. - She actually campaigned. - But it became Trump. - I've never seen one Republican or slightly conservative view come out of Ana Navarro's mouth. But I don't know if she claims to be a Republican. - Who was the, she's married to a football player and her name is Elizabeth, and she, oh my gosh. - Elizabeth Hasselbeck. - Yes. - She married Tim Hasselbeck or Matt Hasselbeck, one of the brothers, yeah. - So she was, she was like a true patriot, right? She was on that show. - Okay. - Years ago. - Oh, okay, that was before I ever even really acknowledged it. I remember Barbara Walters, you know, when she was on that show years ago. - She launched it, right? - Yeah. - It was her thing that she launched. - In the modern version of it, the first time I tuned into it, you know, based on listening and watching stuff for this show, and we started playing clips from the cut sheet on it, I actually thought Joy Behar was Barbara Walters. (laughing) It's like, shows my knowledge of the history of that show. - Barbara Walters is like in heaven. Like, she's just gonna like it. - Yeah, yeah, eight, five, five, eight, three, nine, 12, 10. So we'll get to all of that coming up this morning, but let's get to the news, round number two at 706, the great Don Stensland. - Good morning, Kailen Company, news live. We are looking at, we're at 49 degrees, and we'll talk about the forecast this morning. This Friday, November 15th, basking in the glow of a big eagles win. We have two students injured, or two individuals injured, including a student after that school bus crash, making headlines this morning, shut down a very busy stretch of one Montgomery County roadway. So that had to be shut down due to this accident, involving a school bus and a truck. So those two people, like I say, one student on the bus had to be hospitalized. Several people injured when that school bus and a pickup truck collided. This is Lower Moreland Township. This is Montgomery County, and it happened last evening about dinner time in the area of County Line Road and Boxmont Road. So if you're wondering, if you were stuck in that hot mess, this is what was going on. It's still under investigation, but those emergency crews called to the scene, first responders, police, working to rescue the truck driver who was then wedged underneath this school bus. And so the cars piling up, and like I say, the road had to be shut down hot mess, but they were able to pull that man from the truck out, rush him to the hospital. And so we know that as far as this goes, thankfully, because it was not right after school, so this is what one of those activity buses, let's say that's transporting students who were athletes, that sort of thing. So only a few students on the bus. Thank goodness they said this could have been much worse. So the school district putting out a statement there, thanking the law enforcement, saying that the cause of the crash remains under investigation, school counselors available today for students in school to talk about that. If they wish to, I don't know if they're saying somebody was traumatized or something of that nature. Mainly because of the man's condition as he was trapped underneath there and they were watching that. I can't imagine what that's like. Good Lord. So we do have, and this is an important follow-up as far as over the summer, we talked a lot about those so-called pop-up parties. And as Nick rightfully said, these a lot of them were orchestrated vis-a-vis social media that were advertised. And so in this pop-up party happened mid-June, last summer here in Philadelphia, police announcing they were able to make an arrest of a suspect in connection to that shooting of five teenagers last summer. Just a horrible situation. As we know, 17-year-old Isha Stanley was killed when those two suspects just started shooting each other during the party just decided to open fire with hundreds of kids. And we may have even aired sound audio of Isha's parents talking about this. - Do we remember what actually led to this? Like what event in society or what story in the news was the catalyst for this event to pop up? Because I feel like, and I know police do a great job, they only have so many resources, but if we know these things are being coordinated on social media, I'd like to see a, I don't know, a pop-up prevention task force, you know? So we could just kind of diffuse these things and, you know, prevent it as opposed to react to it, you know? - To your point, I think that they do work to prevent these or at least mitigate them. And even not just this, but as well the situation, the very dangerous situations where the racing groups that meet up and those have turned deadly in Philadelphia. - Yeah, and these dirt bike guys, the whole bit. - Yes, and so they did hold a news conference yesterday talking about this. They announced the arrest of a 17-year-old who I believe is going to be charged as an adult, allegedly one of those gunmen involved, not releasing if this 17-year-old has a juvie record, so we'll watch for that one. But police still searching now for the second suspect and asking the community, come forth, if you know who this other suspect is, investigators, and in that news conference, it was nice to hear, they work really crediting the great police work, and as well the community's cooperation in bringing the arrest in this case. And I think the victims, the one victim killed, the 17-year-old Isha's family speaking out, I think did touch this community to say this was, to your point, ridiculous that this happened. But you know, Nick, I think a lot of times, I will say it's a hot summer night, kids want to get together. It was on Trump's birthday. Maybe they were celebrating Trump's birthday. It was on June 14. It was a Trump birthday fashion when that went sideways. But I think we need more of these community centers funded, and we know that many of them have been shut down, it's a real issue. So hopefully they get that resolved. And of course, we've continued to update you on the case that's making big national news right now with, first of all, the recount that was triggered because of the numbers with Senator-elect Republican Dave McCormack. And this is going for the job of incumbent Democrat Senator Bob Casey Jr., who refused to concede and in fact did not waive his, he could have weighed this so that we didn't have to do the recount, but he's saying, hey, you know, Al Schmidt, the Republican who's in charge of Secretary of State of Pennsylvania then because of the way the numbers looked, because it's less than that half percentage point between the votes. And so I'm not questioning that it is legal that they are doing this recount, that's true, but many had argued that Casey's team knows that the way this is going and the breakdown and where these recounts are happening, they're not gonna get the numbers they need at this point for, they say that it's pretty much impossible. - Do you think by the time we reconvene? Do you think by the time we reconvene Monday morning he's conceded? - No. - No? - No, I think that this count will go until we'll know on the 27th, we will know. - 12 more days. - So I don't, the other, the separate issue here and the attorneys are in court as we speak, but the separate issue is that there are legal challenges by RNC attorneys to these ballots in four counties that I'm looking up, Philadelphia, Bucks, Center, and where's the fourth one? It's Philadelphia, Bucks, Center and Montgomery. Those four counties, the separate challenge here is that those Democrat majority commissioners are accused of allowing illegal ballots to be counted. - So three counties here locally in our listening area, where is Center County? - And then Center County, what major municipality is that? - I have no idea. - So they're saying that they're allowing these to be tallied and that the allegation in court is to say that these four counties, they're, you know, these are thousands of undated, misdated, or improper illegal male ballots. So I don't have the wording where they're claiming that anybody here is a non-citizen. I don't have that in any of the reports. That's not what this appears to be. - And with those, with all of those ballots that are faulty, are they claiming that all of them voted Democrat or is that a mixed bag of Republicans making the same mistakes as well? - Oh, that's a good question. Yeah, we don't know. - Because we have no idea, right? - We have. - I mean, this could, there could actually be more Republican votes in there than Democrat, which would widen the lead from McCormick. - By the way, Center County is like Happy Valley. - Wow. - Yeah, it's up by where State College is. - Okay. - Good to know. - Thanks, Danny. - Yep. - If you, yeah, if you look at that, in that area, I just think in these areas with, if you take out those ballots that are gonna be probably thrown out and then you look at what they're counting, then you look at the military votes that still come in, all of that. What all of the experts are saying, and this is on both sides, to be honest, they're saying that the numbers would not add up for Casey. The odds would be against him. - Right. - And so I will point out that I'll just point you to, back in 2022, remember, this was Dr. Oz with McCormick, a recount was triggered back then, remember. - Mm-hmm. - So these recounts are fully legal when the numbers are within that, they are within that half-point percentage. - It's just amazing. I also saw it yesterday. You know, California still has 11% of their votes to tabulate for the election. I mean, the election ended, what, nine days ago? California still hasn't had their complete total tabulated. - That's crazy. - It's ridiculous. - Well, I think it's 'cause they have, I think everybody gets like a mail-in ballot, there's something like that, so they have to physically, I think they have to like verify each signature by calling people, it's a whole process. - It really is. - Yeah, yep, it's a disgrace. - We have another story of a big protest that's going to be happening in the Philadelphia suburbs, and it is sparking outrage in the community. So they're, the officials in Montgomery County, this is the Lansdale area, and it's the, it's in your neck of the woods, Nick, because it's the Woodston-Hicken Valley Public Library is the one that's going to host a peaceful protest about this, but apparently it was reported that a Nazi flag was being flown in this area of Whit Payne Township. - That's my township, yeah. - Yeah, so it's a swastika flag, obviously Nazi party flag, being displayed outside a home, so they're flying a Nazi flag, and outrage in the community, and it's a, this is a blue bell pike home. - Ah, I'll be able to track that down in about eight minutes. - So, probably a Harvard grad. - Now they did take, the reports are that they took the flag down, and they replaced it with an American flag, and it's on a flagpole. So, the Township's Board of Supervisors releasing a statement saying, we're aware of the recent display of a Nazi flag in our township. We find this abhorrent, shocking offensive. - Let me ask you guys this. Do you think that the person, the people that displayed this flag are actual like white supremacists or not, whatever, or do you think that they're trying to send a message that they believe that Trump is Hitler? - It's a good question. I don't know. I really don't know. Judging on that area. God, it's definitely more liberal than conservative, so I think it's probably the latter. - I would guess that if it came up after the election, I would guess that the people waving it are signaling that we are becoming like Nazi Germany. - Yes. - Because of the Trump election. That's my guess. - Well, America elected Hitler's with the media told us. - I obviously have no proof to back that up. I'm just speculating that I would guess that it's more of that than somebody who's like, hey, you know, it's a lovely day today. Let's fly a Nazi flag, you know? I just, I don't know. I find that hard to believe. - Yeah, hard to figure. I mean, I know that area is definitely more liberal than conservative. Having said that, as I mentioned on the air throughout October, when I was trick or treating, things like that, just my daily journeys, you know, down Germantown Pike, the college vote for my girl's dance, I saw a lot more Trump, Trump Vance signs, and I did Walls Harris, which was interesting, and I know that the voting numbers are different than what the signs are, so I don't know, but your possible theory is, I think plausible. - I don't know. So the, by the way, the township board supervisors there in Whit Payne, they did, in their statements say, this is protected free speech under the First Amendment. - Yeah, I was just gonna say, I mean, if they're flying it on their private property, there's a little you can do. I mean, you can say, oh God, that's awful. - Yep. - You know, there's not much you can do for it. - I will say, it's just very, it's very sickening that we've seen such the open display of anti-Semitism that continues to be apparent in this country since October 7th of 2023. Like, it just opened up the floodgates, you know, whether it's these college kids or really in any venue, in any setting. And again, you're right, you know, free speech First Amendment, but damn. - The, you know, the shame of this is that the homeowner, the reporters like CBS 3, I think 6A, they did send reporters out last night to knock on the door, a man answering the door, told them to leave. They, and I think the inquirer as well. So I think a bunch of media went to the house, knocked on the door to Greg's point, you know, just asking what's up with this. The sad part of this is that there's a, there's some nearby synagogues. - Yes. - And so they said that the person flew this over the weekend, timing it with, it was crystal locked, you know, 1938's where obviously that was a horrifying situation. - There's a, there's a synagogue right down on, on Skip Back Pike, when you're heading out towards, where Chester Township. - I can tell you, all I need to do is look at the house, just look at the house. - And you'll be able to tell the motives? - And I'll tell, I can tell you the motive. So, - All right. - All right, I'll send you a picture. - Yes, swing by Stalker. We'll go, we'll go this, we'll grab some beers later today and we'll, we'll scout some homes out. - Yeah, no, I would, I can tell you in 30 seconds by, by the house. - Yeah. - What their intentions were for flying a Nazi flag. Thank you. - Well, I, I, that, maybe that would be good for the synagogue, the people in the synagogue where, you know, 'cause there's, there has been so much anti-Semitism attacks. - Yeah. - Do you know what I mean? - Yeah. - It's kind of weird to say this, but they probably would go, oh, okay, it was a statement against Trump. - Yeah. - Like it's still awful, but you know what I'm saying, maybe we'll give them some peace of mind. - Mm-hmm, yeah. - I don't know. - What a time to be alive. - Oh my goodness. So, they are gonna plan at the local library there, at the Worcester Hicken Library. And by the way, the library, do you know what the librarian's name is? The director of the Worcester Hicken Valley Public Library? - Um, I'll go Betty. - Anne Frank. - Really? - No way. - I'm not making this up. - Anne Frank. - Is the director of the Worcester Hicken Library. - Nice. Holy smokes. - And I did triple check it. - Yeah. - But, so they're gonna hold a peaceful, just like supportive, especially for the synagogues nearby. They're gonna hold a peaceful event, they said. This will be around 3.30 Sunday. - Yep. - Okay, so this is what's going on. As far as your forecast, I think you're gonna like the forecast, 'cause even though it has been brisk, windy weather, today we're looking at 59-ish today, and with the winds may not feel like 59, because there is this elevated fire risk we're still talking about, because of the gusty winds sparking the firewatches. So, we have clouds gradually breaking today for the sunshine, as the wind does pick up high of 59 degrees. Let's take a look at your weekend. Mostly sunny for your Saturday. Still some gusty winds out there, north and northwest with those, like I say, red flag warnings, gusting up to 35 miles an hour. But we're looking at 63 degrees Saturday and Sunday. Sunday, I think, is gonna feel warmer, even though there are more clouds. But the reason I think it's gonna feel warmer is because less wind for your Sunday. So, there's that going on. And then, of course, we're basking in the glow of eagles, our great way with our Philadelphia. I mean, it was just a wonderful thing. And if you missed, I don't know, off the top of at six o'clock, it was kind of fun, just to have this incredible news with our eagles, scoring big time, and Saquan Barkley looking awesome. And now, first place, obviously in the NFC East, on the line, key match up against the commanders. So, right. Take that, Washington. I'll tell you what, if Jalen Hurts can get hot and we know he's streaky, you look at the rest of the team right now. It's a Super Bowl caliber team again. I mean, a lot of players are playing really well. It's just whether or not you're getting great Jalen or middle of the road Jalen. I think that's what it comes down to. - Well, Saquan, though, he's hot, right? - He's 146 yards. - What a scorcher, what a year. He's like, he's been in the league now, seven years, eight years. - But this is his time. - Yeah. - What do you always say? He's in his peak. - He's in his peak, right? - Yeah. - Oh, man. - He's just like me, he's in his prime. - 26 to 18, so I was way off with my score yesterday. - I was close. I had a 30 to 17. - I think Phil was the closest. I think this is the second week in a row, Phil's been the closest. - Yeah. Yeah. Phil, you're no longer allowed to pick Phil. You're just worried about your jets. - Show us up, man. - I know. First, the music, now the picks. Next thing I know, he's gonna be doing big takes. By the way, I only see the top of this house. - Yeah. - You heard fatuated in the back of the roof. - Yeah, it's like the roof in the top. - Yeah. - What do you think of it? - I'm withdrawing my statement. I think it's nefarious purposes. - Yeah. - I do. - Yeah. - As Road Warrior says, I am a house profiler. - You are? What are you using? Like Google Maps or something? - No, no. In the CBS News report of it, you can see the top of the house. - Okay. - I think if the homeowner was trying to make a political statement. - They would have said something to the news. - Yeah. - To the, you know, you have well-known recognizable people, like from your local CBS 3 and some ABC, NBC 10. - Got it. - I think the person would have come out and go, "Hi, oh, no, no, this is..." - Yeah. - And then they would have loved the person. - Yeah. - Right? - Good point. - And so, there's that. - Okay. You do a sponsor? Are you good? - I don't have a sponsor today. - Okay. - So, that's "Cale & Company News Live." - All right. So, on 855-839-1210, is Donald Trump trying to get rid of Matt Gaetz? Think about that. He's appointed him to Attorney General, but is this intentional to get rid of him? Very interesting theory, wouldn't rule it out, who said it, and what are the details? Update on Jimmy Matthews, one of our great listeners, he made a bet back before the election that if Trump won, he would run up the art museum steps in his boxer shorts wearing a MAGA hat or Trump, Trump paraphernalia, holy cow. We're tweaking that a little bit. We have a 1210W PhD talent company flag that he will be holding him because I want to promote us. I don't care about that. The date has changed. We're not going to do it Monday. We're going to do it Wednesday. So Wednesday at 830, Jimmy Matthews will be at the art museum steps at 830 running up the steps. It will all be videoed. I'll be recorded, so if Chris Forsyth didn't start his weekend early, maybe he can, maybe somebody can let him know too. But yes, we're going to be doing this on Wednesday. So I think our listeners, especially the people in the YouTube chat, I'd like to bust his stones. I think you guys should come out and show him some support and some love since he's doing this for all of us. So we're getting a kaolin company flag made? Yes. Yeah. So disinfected, can I keep the flag? You can. Well, not keep it. But if you want to... What do you studio? Well, actually what I want is for Kale to put it on the back of his truck and ride around with it. That's awesome. Right. Would you do that? We're not in front of that guy's house. Yeah. Yeah. Uh, so Wednesday, next Wednesday, we will do this at 830, Jimmy Matthews will run up the art museum steps in his boxes, we're spending off of that with a kaolin company flag. Please be there. The kaolin company fans, this Wednesday only, Wednesday, Wednesday, Wednesday, 12.10 a.m. Presetti, one and only, Jimmy Matthews at the Philadelphia Art Museum Stair. You'll get to witness the man who voted for Kamala wearing Magogear. Despite his erroneous voting, Jimmy is making good on his back, 830 a.m. this Wednesday, Wednesday, Wednesday, at the foot of the art museum steps in Philadelphia, PA. You've seen him talk smack in YouTube and chat. Now you get to watch him make good on his bed, he mimics trucks, 312 electoral votes. Can he do it? I feel for him. Thank you, Newman Price. Oh my God. Newman Price. You win. The best. I have to start putting him on the payroll. Yeah. Yeah, the payroll is really expanding. We've got more people on this cabinet than Trump does. It's unbelievable. So ironically, that is the 20th, Wednesday, the 20th, which is when the recount, the McCormick Casey, Jimmy, must begin by that day. That's amazing. Oh, by the way, this is, this is Rainer Shine because I asked Jimmy him, I assume if he would do Wednesday or Thursday and he said he can't do Thursday. So it's got to be Wednesday. Okay. So this is Rainer Shine. That's right. There's no rain in the forecast. Yeah. It's never going to rain again, by the way. Jimmy said he needs a MAGA hat. Okay. We'll get him a MAGA hat. Okay. Oh, that'd be fun. Good God. Jimmy, even Jimmy wants a MAGA hat these days. Hot sellers, baby. Hot sellers. He's paying off this bed. It's going to be great. Way by play right here on the radio and I believe we'll have a video camera down there. I think Captain Kirk is going to go down there and video this for us, but I do think that listeners, YouTube chatters, everybody, you can go down there via the Art Museum steps on Wednesday at 8.30 to cheer them on. Yeah. He's being a good sport. Yes. And if this Kale and company flag looks really good, maybe we film it with me driving my Piazza truck in the whole bit. Awesome. Like the, you know, because people are going to want them then. We've got to make an addition to the 1210WPHT merch store and start selling the Kale and Company vehicle flags because you know what that be perfect for down the shore in the summer. Yeah. Right? Yeah. You have your flag up. Put them on your boat. Yeah. Right. Take us along in the boat ride. That's right. Yeah. The guys, these, these flags aren't cheap. Okay. Like, I charge an arm in the lake for them in the merch store. Yeah. Here's, here's a flag. It's $500. I want to graph it. I'm going to knock it down to $375. You know, you're playing the Rocky music. Did you see Stallone in George Trump last night? He said that Trump gives off a George Washington type vibe. It was awesome. Yeah. That's awesome. Isn't that amazing? Another guy coming out and saying, yeah, Donald Trump, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And now that'll probably end slides on a movie career. Well, no. I mean, he's, he's in that, uh, that Tulsa Kings show, which is, which is a great, which is a great show. Yeah. It's like a paramount plus thing. It is. Is it? Is it? So many. I think it's paramount plus, but I'm not 100, essentially. On the ball, according to the slides, the slide might want to put Trump on a, uh, a cryptocurrency. Yeah. Who's on the $20 bill? When you have to replace that guy and put Trump on the $10 bill as a good. Those are really great trivia questions. I think most people, most people aren't aware of who's on certain bills. Nobody pays with money anymore. So that's the point. Right. Andrew Jackson. I'm 20, right? Is it Andrew Jackson? Okay. And then 10 is Thomas Jefferson. Is that right? I don't know. I don't know. I know George Washington's the dollar bill. That's all I ever had. Right here. Look at dog. Look at that. Yeah, baby. Look at that hair. When you have teenagers. Is that Matt Gaetz? We need to have some cash. It's not Matt Gaetz. Put that in your blouse. Sorry. Just kidding. On that note, let's get out of here before we, I was going to talk about, we should probably talk about Matt Gaetz since we're going into the sewer right about now. You can do that. Yeah. We have time. We have time. Okay. So this is kind of an interesting theory that's being floated out. So I got to give credit to Hugh Hewitt who said, uh, you know, he's a, he's a Trump supporter and he comes out and says the selection of Matt Gaetz to lead the DOJ is irresponsible and erratic. And again, my take yesterday was I think he could actually do a really good job. I'm not a huge fan of him, but man, does this guy have baggage, but he is suggesting Hugh Hewitt that Trump might be playing four D chess and setting gates up for failure. He says, quote, I have a lot of opinions of Matt Gaetz and you've heard me express them here a long, long time. But he said that he, uh, Gaetz doesn't belong anywhere near the fifth floor of the Department of Justice declaring, quote, I trust the Senate. He goes on to say, quote, he's resigned from the house. Donald Trump could be playing four D chess here because Matt Gaetz wanted to end the ethics investigation in the house. They lose jurisdiction when a member resigns. So that's, so that proceeding is closed, but their paper isn't closed. And that goes to the Senate Judiciary Committee argued, Hewitt. He says, quote, the FBI opens up a full field of a background investigation into Matt Gaetz. Matt Gaetz has to testify for as long as the Senate Judiciary Committee wants. And all of that is under oath subject to penalties of blah, blah, blah, blah, all those, you know, codes. And so if he lies during the course of that hearing, it's a felony. If he doesn't lie, he's going to have to persuade people that everything that's been said about him, and I'm not going to repeat it here because I don't, uh, I'm not interested in rumors and innuendo and reports and gossip. All I know is he destroyed the Republican coalition and is often irresponsible and erratic, not that I want in something I don't want in an attorney general. He goes on to say, so it might be the proverbial four D chess that people joke about because Matt Gaetz resigned from the house. So he's gone. No office, no staff. There'll be two special elections in Florida, but I trust the Senate. Our constitution is very strong. I trust the Senate. I do not believe he will be confirmed. And I think there's a lot of people out there that are saying that they have serious doubts as to whether or not he will be confirmed. And look, I, would you put that past? I mean, here's the thing is Trump doing this to bury Matt Gaetz and get him out of the way. I don't think so. I think Trump is giving him this position because Matt Gaetz has been very loyal. Trump has been big on loyalty. Ultimately, at the end of the day, I think if you're good at what you do, you get more leeway and more rope, I actually think he would be good in this role. But I have had some text from people that I'm not going to say the names of the people that have texted me. And they said that this is a bad look in the Trump administration of all the people that he has selected. This is the one where Republicans, even Trump supporters might say you could probably avoid the headaches and the drama that this guy is going to cause. I even got a text from one guy. I won't say the source. And he just said, quote, I would love to attend a party hosted by Matt Gaetz and Hunter Biden. That's a quote from somebody that knows stuff. You're going to get freaky or you're going to have to be supplied with a lot of stuff that's illegal. First of all, Hugh Hewitt is basically irrelevant. And he's just trying to garner some some sort of buzz. That being said, that being said, I believe that, look, all of these, all of these nominator, I guess you call them nominations, yeah, nominations appointments. All of these appointments, yeah, there's one. One has to be a sacrificial and all of them may get through this. If you look back in history, that like one person usually does not pass, you know, confirmation. Now, could he, you know, push a bunch through on a, you know, recess appointment, sure, but for the most part, one will go down. And I think the, I think people believe that it is going to be Matt Gaetz because I don't think that he's going to have the votes. Here's where I think loyalty plays a factor. Notice who he selected to be the deputy attorney general, Todd Blanche. Todd Blanche was his lawyer in court for one of the cases that we covered over the last year and a half with the law fair against Trump. I don't know what type of law Todd Blanche has practiced in his career that would, you know, technically quote, qualify him to be attorney general. That being said, it seems like maybe Trump has his backup option. If Matt Gaetz doesn't get through, I don't know that there's any dirt out there on Todd Blanche that Republicans in the Senate would say, I don't want this guy. I'm not going to confirm this guy either. So pay attention to that. But Don does, does the baggage of Gaetz concern you or do you put that to the side of the belief like I am where I think he could be really good at what he does? Okay. So first of all, I'm going to say this Hugh Hewitt, I think is not irrelevant. I will say he, he is a guy who he always asks the interesting question. I find him interesting. I know he's been around a long time, but I, I'm going to push back on the irrelevancy of him. I don't think that. So he, he was the one who was quoted as the, the four D chess. I'm, you know me, I always think who's getting played. So when I saw that Laura Trump, who's a Florida resident now, heads, but she was asked, well, would you, because remember she wanted to run for Senate North, her native North Carolina, she's a Florida resident where she and Erica and their kids live, would you want to be Senator? Because the Santas could like appoint her. And she is in, she's clearly interested. She, oh, I'd be honored for that. And so then I thought, huh, is, is, so Matt Gates, he resigns and perhaps they think he's going to avoid this ethics thing coming out, which I don't think they're going to avoid during the Senate confirmation hearings. They can bring anything out. I leave, I think Dick Durbin, he's my number one suspect to go, well, I have the ethics report. You know what I mean? They can put it into the record. So whatever's in there is going to come out. But then I thought, are they, so are they, are they playing a game of chess? Is this a way to get him to resign? Because he is controversial. Laura Trump, to be a Senator appointed by the Santas, you know, I'm always looking at all of those different angles. Yeah. But I think with Gates, I think honestly, I think that he was somebody who was so loyal to Trump and he was very interested in rooting out never Trumpers. So he's a disruptor. So whether you like that or you don't like that, he's somebody who's very aware of the persecution and weaponization of, of DOJ. Yeah. I do like the fact that he'll, he'll try to snuff out those that are trying to sabotage things for sure. Another person to keep in mind and keep an eye on, I think, is Florida attorney general, a general Ashley Moody under the Santas. I think she would be really good in that role. Don't know if she'll leave the state of Florida. She seems to be a staunch loyalist to Ron DeSantis, but by the way, as you're praising Hugh Hewitt, Don, remember, he competes with you here in Philadelphia. So I was trying to help you out there, but sure, sure, keep, sure, keep, keep loving Hugh Hewitt. I'm not, I'm just saying I'm not going to call him on that Reekie Day station. It's okay. But it has been. But it's just a win. I'm, I'm local. If you want to listen to Nashville, that's on you. Yeah. There you go, Don. I'm live and I'm local. That's right. And I'm relating everything to your local. You know, syndicated scofosos here. Yeah. But I give, I give the props or the respect to the, you know, the elders before me. There you go. All right. It's like Game of Thrones, you know, eight, five, five, eight, three, nine, twelve, ten. We'll come back. Find out what Stalker has on a Friday edition of the cut sheet. This is the Kaling Company podcast from Dark Radio 1210 WPHD and on the free Odyssey app. Hopefully Justin in the YouTube chat is not saying it's a slow news day and he doesn't like the fact that we're not talking about things that he cares about. But you know, we got to play, play the hits is what they say and play for the masses. We can't just cater to the show to, to just it on YouTube. But one day we will maybe, maybe we'll do like a TRL type show, Carson, Ellie, I'll just play whatever you want. Justin. What do you want us to talk about today? Well, yeah, you make the show sheer. I'm tired of putting it together to be honest. Actually, that's not a bad idea for, for the Travis Manian radio. How about that? By the way, Josh Jabin coming up at like 9.40, Travis Manian radio from the Travis Manian Foundation. How about that? We put together a show sheet for us. We do, we, it's literally, we have no input in it. That person controls, we pick a day, that person controls the news, the narrative, the topics of that day. There you go. And maybe the cut sheet as well. Somebody can put it. Wow. I mean, people love the contribute for the cut sheet anyway. Is somebody writing this down? Yeah. Somebody writing this down. Yeah. Is anybody, Jimmy, Mark the tape. Thank you. As they say in the industry. Do you like that idea, Dawn? I do. I think it's great. I mean, yeah. I don't like the news. Let somebody actually deliver the news. Maybe we can auction off Dawn. Right. Well. Slave later. Well, you do like a dream job where we have somebody come in and try to do the whole operation from six to 10. Since everybody thinks it's so easy, right? Yeah. Yeah. Well, no, if they're going to do me, then they have to do six to noon. Well, there you go. I mean, I go both ways. Right. By the way, the $10 bill that he brought up is Hamilton. He was the secretary of the treasurer and was, I just, it's so funny because Michael and I just went to Hamilton on Wednesday night. Yeah. You had the pamphlet, right? There was a little catalog. Yeah. We were wrong. We were wrong. I mean, look, we're, we're right. What's the quote? We're right 90% of the time. Yeah. I've got that somewhere, but it's, it's buried. I think Jimmy might have moved it around. I'll find it before we get out of here. But it's, it's, you know, as we talk about credit and doja, coin and all that good stuff, we establish public credit and the national bank. And so it's, it's weird when you, when you think about that in our nation, we are at this historic point where we have all of these inventors. Right. We've never had this before since, let's say Ben Franklin, a founding father who was also an inventor. Mm hmm. That's correct. All right. 756. Let's see what Stalker has on the Friday edition of what is on the couch. What's on the country on this, a Friday brought to you by Cherry Hill Volvo right now lease an all-wheel drive XC 91st lowest 687 per month using all Apple rebates. These store for details. Relationships really do matter at Cherry Hill Volvo. Yes, I'm going to continue to say applicable because you both are wrong because I heard it being said that way it's not applicable to stop Cherry Hill Volvo relationships matter. Check them out on Route 70 in Cherry Hill, Cherry Hill, Volvo where relationships matter. Okay. I tease this at like 645 this morning. I want to play it now because there, there, the breaking news last night or yesterday afternoon was that Trump nominated a Robert F Kennedy Jr. to head the HHS, HHS secretary. Yep. And Don pointed out very eloquently and it's true that if you look at mainstream news everybody's saying of vaccine skeptic, vaccine denier, I think Jake Tapper called it Quackery. Oh, Quackery. Quackery. Um, I just wanted to because if you put all that stuff aside and I don't, I don't, I don't go down the rat hole of vaccines that he does. However, if you look at, if you listen to what he's saying about the food and the crap that we put in our body, it is, he is so spot on and he needs to like stuff like this needs to be discussed. And I feel like the vaccine stuff gets the top of the ticket and this stuff that I think he's really going to focus on is what actually we need to be focusing on as a society. So these are older clips, but I just want people to hear it because I don't know if people have heard these full clips of what he's talking about when he talks about make America healthy again. Okay. Uh, let's start with cut seven, Phil. Uh, go. What most Americans innocently put into their bodies these days and most alarmingly into the bodies, their children. And it's no coincidence. Captain crunchy. She's it's Doritos. I live in Canadians or Germans or Italians or Japanese or Koreans or Australians or most any other conference for four, five, seven years below that way until the early 1990s our life expectancy was the same or better than other developed countries. And then suddenly more and more Americans began suffering from chronic diseases from obesity, cancer, diabetes, kidney disease, Alzheimer's, heart disease, and all kinds of autoimmune diseases are maternal mortality rate, soared to the highest of any developed country on earth, same with infant mortality. Like the frog and the slowly boiling water. We didn't really notice as we got sicker and sicker. We've grown now to accept chronic disease conditions as normal, but now in 2024, we're finally waking up to this cataclysm and we're asking ourselves, how in the world did this happen? Well, a big part of it is our diet, restaurants that serve contaminated food are fined or shut down. Oh, and it's the government that approves the poison snark food. A few people get very, very rich and toxins end up in every supermarket aisle. Let me show you one. Literally nothing he said, sorry, literally nothing he said there. Anybody can disagree. Right. Right. Nobody can argue any of that stuff. That is correct. And you saw that graphic there. I mean, the average lifespan, 76 in the United States and those other nations, 80, 81, 82, 83, 84, I mean, think about that. And we've talked about this in the past. However, we put up the picture of the airplane of people sitting and we've shown those pictures of people walking the streets of New York, like in 1950, 1960, there was no fat people. Yeah. Like, yes, like there was no obesity back then and Don, you go, you went over to Italy, right? Yeah. Everybody's getting you know, in the Mediterranean diet, they walk everywhere and they live seven, eight years longer and they're in great shape and a lot of them smoke. Yeah. And they drink wine with their, at least with their dinner once every day. I'm not, you know, I don't smoke, but it does seem that we were a healthier society when we smoked. It's never for as awful as cigarettes are, you know, causing lung cancer. I get all of that. But we seem to be a lot healthier back. Yeah. Well, because they didn't make them addictive initially, but remember they proved what was that at some point in the 60s, they proved that they started changing the formula to actually, um, put chemicals in there that made it more addictive. I just want to, I just want to say that there is nothing, I don't care, Paula's, I don't care, you know, climate this, there is nothing more important in our life than the stuff we put in our body. It's actually, it's wildly amazing that we live as long as we do still considering what we put in our daily diet. Exactly. We live on average to 76 when we're stopping at gas stations and convenience stores and drive throughs. And then because of the cost of food and grocery stores these days, we buy frozen junk because it's cheaper. We can't afford organic. It's really remarkable. We're not dropping. Get it 50. Look, I am, I want this conversation to be had. I don't care if he gets, if he gets nominated or not, like, or selected or not. I just, I'm glad we're having this conversation. I think we need to have more of this conversation because this, this in my opinion is the biggest crisis in our lifetime, is the unhealthy obesity epidemic that nobody wants to talk about. And I'm glad if it takes somebody like RFK Jr. as low as some as I think he is, I'm, I'm off for it. I'm waving the flag for RFK Jr. for this. The most important thing that he's saying and driving home is that the United States of America, you think of, we are this wealthy nation, we have a much higher rate of people with two or more chronic conditions than any other country, any other country, even third world countries. So think about that, you have, and, and that's, so at least, at least half the country has at least one chronic disease, 40% have two or more, more than half of our population has some chronic disease. And the cause, look at the costs, the yearly healthcare costs, four and a half trillion dollars. Then you think about all the people who can't afford that, who are on different types of, let's say, aid, state level, or federal level, and then think about the cost to our country. Yeah. Let's play a little more from gummy bears. Everyone knows that these are junk foods. So maybe you wouldn't be too surprised to see that the ingredients include a lot of poisons, including a harmful yellow dye, called Tatrazine, or yellow dye number five. What you may not know is that this type was originally made out of this sludge that's left over when you turn coal into coke for blast furnaces. It's called coal tar, and I've actually sued many big industries for legacy contamination of coal tar all around the country because it's so toxic, it is so harmful to the environment in human beings. A century ago, it was just an obnoxious industrial byproduct that everybody was trying to figure out ways to get rid of one of the ways that they did that was by paving roads, but then a British chemist figured out that the coal tar could be used to derive fabric dye. And if fabric dye, why not food? Food manufacturers began using it to cover up the discoloration of low quality foods that they wanted to pass off on unsuspecting customers. They didn't know back then that this yellow dye, Tatrazine, causes tumors, asthma, developmental delays, hydrological damage, ADD, ADHD, hormone disruption, gene damage, anxiety, depression, intestinal injuries. Yeah. Well, we know it now. We've known this for decades. That's why Tatrazine is heavily restricted in other countries. In some countries, foods with Tatrazine have a warning label that it may cause ADHD in children. Wow. So I wonder if Rachel Levine would like to comment on that. Rachel Levine, aka Richard Levine, is the individual that is currently sitting in the seat of this administration that Bobby Kennedy will take over for. And by the way, if you've seen Rachel Levine and these other HHS individuals and those in charge of kind of the same category throughout the other nations across the globe, they're all out of shape and fat. Why are we taking health advice from people that don't look healthy to begin with? Right? Like, I'm not saying you got to agree with Bobby Kennedy on everything. As many people do not agree with him on a lot of things. And there are, you know, many Trump supporters that don't want him involved in this operation, in this administration at all. But I mean, the quality of stuff that we, and I do this with my daughters all the time because I'm trying to wean them off of like the bad stuff. They always want candy. And I'm like, no, you're, you do the trick or treating, you got the Easter Bunny thing. That's it. That's your two candy splurges throughout the year. And that's enough candy. They'll ask the entire calendar year, right? Like my daughter loves bagels. I'm trying to wean her out. She wants to eat a bagel every day. I'm like, it's not good for you. You're going to be bloated. Yeah. You're going to be constipated. You ever eat a bagel, just sits in your gut for days. A nice dad conversation, you're going to have, you have some egg whites, banana and a blue berries. I'm curious. I'm, I'm curious how this stuff goes over with the Trump voters and supporters, because I'm old enough to remember in 2010, when Michelle Obama tried to do this in schools, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, everybody on Fox News was telling keep your, keep your hands off of my French fries, I think was the quote Glenn Beck had. We went into an uproar when Michelle Obama tried to do this for school lunches, Don. I'm sure you remember that. Yeah. So I'm wondering now 20 or 15 years later, is there more of an appetite for this in the conservative movement? Can you, can you separate big farmer from big food? I think for that leave my French fries alone guy, he might be still of that belief, but he also wants, you know, Bobby Kennedy to go after big farmer with the way they push stuff on us and force us to take things. Yeah. Look, I, I, I think that anytime we're having conversations like this, I think it's a good, it's a good thing and I'm, you know, separate all the noise from what cable news morons say about this guy and let's actually play clips like this and let's do it. Like if you play something like this for Jake Tapper or, or Sanjay Gupta, who we'll get to in a second. Yeah. Do you think they're going to disagree with any of this? No, no, of course not. But then they're going to go down the vaccine stuff and then they're going to bring out the stuff that, you know, Kennedy has been wrong on or has been unable to prove and verify and that's what they do. Just because you brought up Michelle Obama to my recollection and I'll look this up to my recollection, it was not a Republicans or conservative talk show host. It was actually basically a big pharma that shut down, she, because I was thrilled when she said she wanted the organic garden at the White House and healthier school lunches. But to my recollection, it was the lobbyists that actually struck that down. I'll look that up, but I remember doing, I remember reporting on that and I was disappointed, but you, you, you just, you didn't hear from it anymore. Okay. Do you hear that? Uh, hang on, hang on, hang on, to that point, Don, let me play this. When I heard this, I thought, get your damn hands off my fries, lady. If I want to be a fat, fat, fatty and shovel French fries all day long, that is my choice. We're going to have, uh, you know, the government finding us if we use salt coming up straight ahead. All this talk about the government taking salt away from you because it's so bad for you. But aren't there good things about salt? I hate the government getting involved and telling me what to eat and not eat. Food police. Do you think the government should regulate the ingredients in the food we eat? Can't we make our own decision about whether or not we want to salt our food? All right. An Obama government obesity task force does every American family need a dietitian appointed by the government and tell them that this food is going to make you fat and this food is not? Look, I, I don't think there's anything wrong with this. Yeah. There's cable news in 2010. There you go. I don't think there's anything wrong at all with what Bobby Kennedy is doing because he's educating a lot of people. Right? I think we're oblivious to a lot of these, you know, ingredients that tarsinate or whatever he was talking about. If you would have asked me what that is 10 minutes ago, I would have had no idea how they derive that and where it comes from and it's connected to the coal sludge and things like that. Literally just learned something. But as far as like big pharma goes, wait, here's, this is my position on big pharma. I'm not against medicine. I'm not against prescriptions. I'm not against vaccines. But what I want is two things. I want these companies to be held liable for when they are negligent and you end up being harmed by these products, some of which are not FDA approved. But secondly, the thing that drives me the most insane and I've said this before and I think I've said this correctly, the United States is one of only two countries on the planet that allows pharmaceutical ads and we are inundated with pharmaceutical ads in this country. Agreed. It's a huge problem. But did you know if you take it, 13 other things could go wrong. It's a huge problem. It is a huge problem. And look, I'm, I'm not, you know, people, people can have opinions that change. I have, I have no, I have no issues with that once again, whatsoever. But I, I'm just, I'm, we're, I'm wondering what the appetite is going to be for stuff like this because we don't want to be a regulated country. Right. You know what I mean? Like we've said that. Yep. Carissa's in Delaware and she has a viewpoint on this as a mom. Carissa, you're on talk radio 1210. Hey, morning guys. How are you? Good. Good morning, Carissa. How are you? I'm good. I first let's say God bless Dawn for having to manage both of you most mornings. I was hoping I'm on the YouTube. I'm like, I settled out, but you're welcome, but I want to give a different perspective because I'm, I'm a white suburban mom, I have two kids. We are the generation now of homesteaders. We make our own sourdough. We buy organic. We grow our own fruits and vegetables and we're canning and drawing and all these different things. So we, I at least, maybe I live in a bubble, but I'm starting to see us returning to a more primitive group and way of life with our kids and teaching them these things. So I don't know if it's so much the regulation is that we just want these things out of our food. It's not that food should be banned, but we need to go back to like when McDonald's is beef tallow instead of like all these weird chemicals to make the price rise. Yeah. Yeah. No, it's a good point, Carissa. Thank you so much for the call. We're glad to have you. And yes, Dawn does have a third full-time job. She's got a babysit us on top of doing the news and doing her own show. Let me ask you this stuff because, you know, a lot of us would like to, you know, perhaps if we want to live healthier, buy organic, but organic is more expensive. And, you know, on the surface, if you're looking at organic bananas versus nonorganic, that's not going to kill you price-wise, you know, it was at 40 cents more or 60 cents more for a pound. But when you try to do all the organic, it really adds up. If they're putting less ingredients into the organic, I don't know. Maybe this is a stupid question or maybe people have had this question as well. Why is it so expensive then, wouldn't you think the more stuff that goes into the bad stuff that that would be more expensive because they're investing more specific ingredients to keep that garbage edible for 17 straight months, right? Like all the organic stuff. And that's the other thing. You got to eat it quickly, right? You ever notice how quickly organic bananas go when you leave them on the counter? You buy six of them. You better eat them in two days or they're going to start to get real moldy. And I don't like my bananas that way. You can buy them. Real green. I like them real green. I like the tartar banana. Really? Yeah. Yeah. You know. Once I start to get the brown specks on it, we got to knock those out quick. I want to play a little bit more from RFK Jr. This is cut eight now, Phil. Go. That may not happen to our children. These are the most precious assets that we have in this country. How can we let this happen to them? About 18% of American teens now have fatty liver disease. That's like one out of every five. That disease, when I was a kid, only affected late-stage alcoholics who were elderly. Cancer rates are skyrocketing and the young adult cancers are up 79%. One in four American women is on anti-depressant medication, 40% of teens have a mental health diagnosis. Very cool. And 15% of high schoolers are on Adderall and a half a million children on SSR. Oh, my God. So what's causing this suffering? I'll name two culprits. Well, first and the worst is ultra-processed foods. About 70% of American children's diet is ultra-processed. That means industrial manufacturing, the factory. These foods consist primarily of processed sugar, ultra-processed grains and seed oils, laboratory scientists who may have formerly worked for the cigarette industry, which purchased all the big food companies in the 1970s and '80s, deployed thousands of scientists to figure out chemicals, new chemicals to make the food more addictive. And these ingredients didn't exist 100 years ago. Humans aren't biologically adapted to eat them. Hundreds of these chemicals are now banned in Europe, but ubiquitous in American processed foods. The second culprit is toxic chemicals in our food, in our medicine, in our environment. Pesticides, food additives, pharmaceutical drugs and toxic waste permeate every cell of our bodies. The salt on our children's cells and hormones is unrelenting. The name just one problem, many of these chemicals increase estrogen because young children are ingesting so many of these hormone disruptors. America's puberty rate is now occurring at age 10 to 13, which is six years earlier than girls were reaching puberty in 1900. Our country has the earliest puberty rates of any continent on the earth. And no, this isn't because of better nutrition. This is not normal. Rescancer is also estrogen driven and now strikes one in eight women. It's crazy. We are mass poisoning all of our children. He's writing everything he's saying right there. I didn't know about the puberty acceleration, which is wild, happening at a younger and younger age, which is weird because, you know, puberty seemed to pass over Harry Sisson. I was just looking at a picture of him yesterday and I'm like, dude, like 23, it looks like he does not have a facial hair on his face, but that's a different story. Snow Bunny gal says, quote, I said no candy. Now go get Daddy a beer from the fridge. She's right. She's quoting me. She's 100% right. That'll be me tomorrow afternoon, around three o'clock. She was, I say, not as I do. Exactly right. I'm looking out for your interest, girls. Don't worry about Daddy. Daddy's a lost cause at this point. No, he's absolutely right, but I want to pivot just a little bit from the food stuff and the physical health to the mental health because that's another major component. And you talk about, you know, all of these other mental, I mean, to me, it was exacerbated by the pandemic. I strongly believe humans do not do well in social isolation. That's why we are always trying to, for the most part, be around other people and, you know, lockdowns and all these restrictions accelerated it. And just the, the sheer notion that when in doubt, well, let's, let's put you on 25 milligrams of this or, okay, it's not working. It's up your dosage to 75 milligrams. And I'm not downplaying mental health. I'm not one of these people that sits there and says, I'll toughen up Buttercup. Now, sometimes I do think, sometimes I do think there are the young generations today. Some millennials definitely Gen Z, Gen Alpha that, yeah, you stop, you don't have mental health. Just getting a little thicker skin here. You got to toughen up skip. But this, this notion that we just want to medicate people and I really think that leads to these people living their lives like zombies and then they become like school shootings. Yeah, or they erupt like a volcano out of nowhere and it's like, well, I didn't see that coming. Well, you didn't. Well, let's look at your medical history here. I am, you know, I'm about the trans issue. Yes. I've been, I've been saying this for a long time. I think that instead of studying gun violence and all that crap, we need to be studying the, the, the medications, the food, all this crap that we're, we're putting into our kids' bodies because if you listen to RFK Jr. about those statistics, they, they started in the early to mid nineties and when did school shootings start up? Yeah. You know what I mean? Like that's, mid nineties. It's, it's, it's that type of stuff that we don't look enough into because we're, you know, because he's big, these big lobbyists and I'm just, I'm super happy. Again, I, I, you know, I know it's tiresome people don't like me making fun of RFK Jr. But like I am all for him, what he's, what he's doing on this as far as food and whether he gets confirmed or not, I don't care. I'm glad that we're having this conversation. And I think that this administration, if any, is going to get to the bottom of, of, of this, which I believe is the biggest health crisis in our country and a lot of people in public politics and office and public office, their pockets are about to get a lot lighter. So just, whoever gives you the most resistance in any of these, um, you know, house judiciary meetings, the Senate confirmation, all this stuff on the Hill, whoever's being the most combative, like Liz Warren, they're probably making a ton of money from big pharma. Uh, Jillian Michaels went on, she was on, I think Jesse Waters last night and she went scorched earth on everybody who, who went after her, who's going after RFK Jr. Uh, can you play cut 13, Phil? If you live a simple, clean lifestyle, then they're not going to make as much money and they're not going to have as much power in Washington and throughout the rest of the country. It's really about power, isn't it? Well, it's about power and raw economic incentive. And as much as we can suggest that it's simple, it's not easy and it's not easy by design. And in fact, it's called structural violence. And it's this collaboration of this toxic quartet, if you will, of the way big farming proliferates these cheap toxic calories, big food picks up those calories. And they tinker with it a bit more with their food scientists to make it more addictive, to make it omnipresent, then big pharma catches us on the other side and starts treating all of our sicknesses, all their diseases. And we won't even touch on big, big insurance and how they play a role because there isn't enough time. But the bottom line is look at the world. It's this simple, infertility, highest ever early onset cancer diagnosis, up 79% over the last three decades, 74% of adults in America are overweight and obese. We need change. We need it now. What they're doing isn't working and it's not working on purpose because it's profitable for the very few and it's bankrupting Americans. It's the number one cause of bankruptcy is a health-related condition and it's killing them. If you're afraid of RFK, you've lost your mind. Take a backseat, let the professionals in this space handle it and thank God when it starts improving. Period. Yeah. Yeah. For all the liberal fat shows out there, take that. I don't like Bobby Kennedy. He's a danger. Yeah. So as you're going through the McDonald's drive through, okay, Edward asks, why shouldn't he be confirmed? I didn't say he shouldn't be. I'm just saying that it is there. Somebody is not getting confirmed. Yeah. One of the Trump choices is not getting confirmed. I'd rather have Kennedy confirm than Gates, to be honest. Will it be him? Will it be Gates? I don't know, but somebody's not getting confirmed. Somebody's going to be the sacrificial lamb. I mean, there's plenty of lawyers out there that can do what Matt Gates is capable of doing in the court of law. I mean, Todd Blanche being one of them, he's the deputy AG right now. So he could be elevated from the number two to the number one, but we, Gillian Michaels is absolutely right. I've said this. Yeah. It's like a, it's like a, it's like a, get a, get a Venn diagram out. You got big food, big farm, big ag. All of a sudden you get into big pharma, the food they poison you, then you're on medication. The medication is supposed to help you, but there's side effects and then you end up with this problem. It's all, it's all cyclical. It's a cyclical thing that, that just, it's not going to go away unless somebody comes in and takes a sledgehammer to it. Yeah. 855-839-1210. A lot of people want to talk about this. Let's grab John. He's in Norris town. John, you're on talk radio 1210. Hey there. Hey. Hey. So, I was one of those people who, who, who would Michelle Obama, and I am all in for RFK Junior because Michelle Obama, like Obama's generally, did not really expose the structural, you know, corruption here. It was just like eat your vegetables, eat your vegetables. Well, I like french fries better also, but they're deliberately putting crap in our food that really doesn't need to be there. Like, like Bobby Junior said, one time, you know, they have fruit loops in Canada, but there's like three ingredients. There's not, you know, 19 ingredients, like they're on the U.S. We can still have this stuff, it just wouldn't be, it would probably taste pretty much the same. It just wouldn't be damaging us on purpose. So like Gillian Michael said, we can get in this revolving door with medicine, with insurance and yeah, and COVID did a lot to just show that these companies that you thought were pretty much doing good are doing a heck of a lot of that. Yep. You know, we really looked under the rock and saw a bunch of creepy crawly discussing stuff. Yeah, we had a lot of extra time to do that, right? Because you couldn't go to work, you couldn't leave your house, you couldn't go to this restaurant, that and the other thing. And the other thing too, with the mental health, by the way, your physical health and mental health are connected. There's a lot of studies out there that tell you exercises good for your mental health. So true. Thank you. Right? 100%. Right? Yeah. It's the thing that bugs me a lot and a family member just went through this, you know, going in, this person is older and they went in to get blood work done, you know, routine blood work and their cholesterol or something was really high. The immediate reaction, the immediate reaction was take a pill. Like how about, hey, what's your diet? Change the diet, hey, how much, like, how much exercise are you getting during a week? How about try that? How about try that for six months rather than just just slap a pill? You know what I mean? Like it's just the basic stuff, like exercise, sunshine, fresh air, stuff like that, eat, eat clean, eat, eat stuff that like cavemen used to eat, you know what I mean? As life became more convenient, we became less healthy. Yeah. Right? Here's a, here's a steak. Here's a potato. Here's a brussel sprout. Uh-huh. What's wrong with that? Right. Put a little butter on it. Fine. You know what I mean? I don't know. It just, it seems to me the answer to a lot of this is very simple. We just don't want to do it. Of course not because everything now can be, there's actually, and I know, Stalker, you love never leaving the house, but there's a lot of reasons why you don't have to do anymore, right? Yes. I mean, you know, forget delivery, you door dash this. You can get alcohol delivered to your house, Amazon. You don't have to get up. You don't have to walk the mall anymore and get, you know, burn some calories while you shop. Everything just shows up on your porch. One more. Cause I see a Sean Farish in the, in the bullpen warming up. So let's do, let's do cut 10 here. Sanjay Gupta was on with Jake Tapper discussing the, excuse me, that's a doctor. Sanjay Gupta was on the Jake Tapper program discussing the RFK junior thing. This is what he said. 10 go. You're clear of politics, but this really isn't about politics because this is somebody who has been, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. who has been pushing quackery, who has been pushing black lies, who has been pushing conspiracy theories. You've been talking to experts in the health community, the medical community, preparing for him, RFK junior to be given some sort of role in health. What have they said to you? Well, you know, it's not often that the, the entire medical and public health community is going to be in lockstep on something, but they're pretty close on this in terms of their significant concerns, horror, even somebody said to me today, I can't think of any single individual who'd be more damaging to public health than RFK. Keep in mind, I think if the reporting's correct and the job is the, the Secretary of Health and Human Services, that comprises the CDC. You know, we just got through this pandemic comprises the FDA comprises the NIH. He's talked about wanting to basically strip funding for infectious diseases overall. Again, just coming out of this pandemic with concerns about other viruses and things out there. The challenge, I think, is that at the same time, there is this whole idea that we're not a very healthy country. Yes. We spend four and a half trillion dollars on health care and we have some of the worst outcomes in the developed world. Yes. And our food supply and, and other things are partly to blame, things that he's talked about. There's these kernels of agreement with, with regard to the medical establishment and the public health establishment in particular. But then there's these other things like Caitlin was just talking about that are, they're, they're not alternative views. They are false views. People often say, well, these alternative views, they're, they're not. They, you know, people say, well, look, I think maybe vaccines could be linked to autism. Fair enough. That was, that was an issue that came up and it was studied in these large studies, the global studies involving, um, hundreds of thousands of kids who were followed for over a decade to see if there's in fact a link. Some of the studies actually showed that you were more likely to have autism if you were not vaccinated. But the point being that issues are raised, issues are studied, and yet they still keep coming up. And I think that's, that's one of the big concerns. That's, that's a metaphor, I think, for other things that people are concerned about with him. You know, last time's a good to thank so much. Yes. The loss in all of this is just this, once again, this arrogance from the media of how dare you be a critical thinker? How dare you seek alternative information? Listen to what the government tells you because the government knows best. By the way, did you know when, when Sanjay Gupta was plastered all over your television during the COVID-19 pandemic, talking about COVID like he's an expert, you know, he's a neurosurgeon that specializes in spine trauma. He's not, he's not an infectious disease doctor. So with all due respect, you know, granted you have more medical knowledge than I will ever have. You're not a COVID expert yet. He was on TV talking like he was one. I don't like that. Yeah. I mean, look, this is going to shake up the medical community. But you know what? I think it's time that that happens and I am, I'm all for it. I want something needs to change because we're killing our children. We're killing ourselves and the, you know, the heart attack rate and, and, and the cancer rate is, is off the charts and we need to address it. And if it's going to take our cage, you're in there to throw a pipe bomb and do it. Great. I think I'm going to run down to the snack machine and get a bag of debris. We'll find a little snack here. Uh, eight thirty, that'll do it round one of the cut sheet part do coming up an hour from now. On the other side, our boy, Sean Ferris, he is ready to go and we'll get his thoughts as well as Donald Trump's thoughts on Bobby Kennedy, Matt Gaetz and so much more. A whale of a week, right? Can you believe that? She really is. You know, I was watching, it was her birthday the other day. I said, Darcy blows. Right? There she goes. Look at that blowhole. What a horrible person, that terrible person, right? She really is. And did you hear what's happening? She's trying to punish everybody by going on strike, if you know what I'm talking about. And I said, nobody is upset about it. That's number one, you look at it. She looks like a manatee, right? And that's an insult to manatee. And number two, right, 20 million dollars in debt. I know who's not going on strike Kamala, right? She's not going on. She has to make a lot of money. Family fans is going to be very busy, right? Oh, my God. I'm an only fan. It's going to be very busy. That's not bad. Oh, he's over for Donald Trump fired up. So let's start right off the top. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Health and Human Services, your thoughts on giving Bobby the top spot. Well, we love Bobby, and he's a tremendous guy. You know, you look at it, make America healthy again. And it's something that we need to focus on, right? But you look at Bobby. We love Bobby. He's a tremendous person. And somebody said to me, sir, whatever you do, please don't make him your press secretary. I said, we're not going to have that problem, but we love him. He's a tremendous guy. And he's going to do a wonderful job. You know, you saw the stock and Nancy Pelosi was probably the only person who saw this coming. They were plummeting. They were falling off a cliff. They were like MSNBC's ratings. And by the way, I don't know what's lower, MSNBC's ratings or Joy Reid and AOC's combined IQ. I don't know what the hell is lower. These are stupid. By the way, these are stupid people. And Joy Reid looks like she shaved her head. She doesn't look like me anymore. She's doing that trend. She shaved her head. She's an ugly person, by the way. What a horrible, she's a hideous person inside and out. And AOC, you know, AOC is looking a little plump, right? We're not sure what's going on. She may be with child, right? And she's not allowed to say that because the people are going to want her to have an abortion. Oh, man. Oh, man. Oh, man. Look, so much for not bringing a child into Trump's America, right? Here we go. The more the merrier, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, right? AOC. Yeah. Would you look at these people? We love Bobby. He's going to make America healthy again. Even Chris Christie may be healthy. We'll see what happens. Like, you know, he's we call him Snack Man, right? But Waka Waka Waka, when the eclipse happened, we thought he ate the sun and the sun came back. We said, oh, that's great. We thought we were going to have no more sunlight, but he's a big guy too. But we're going to make America healthy again. We love Bobby Kennedy and he's going to do a tremendous job with HHS. You know, you have Richard Levine. He goes by Rachel. Aerosmith Rotoso dude looks like a lady, but you have Richard Levine. She's the assistant secretary of health. We're going from insane with Richard Levine to in shape with Bobby Kennedy and we're very happy about it. Beautiful. The other position that's drawn a lot of attention is Matt Gaetz for attorney general. Do you think you will be able to have Matt Gaetz confirmed? And if not, what's the alternative right now? Any thoughts on that, sir? Well, come hella high water. We're putting Maddy ice. We love him. Maddy ice. We're going to put him in there. The attorney general is going to do a fantastic job. You know, we have recess appointments. We have so many options, but we love Maddy ice. Matt Gaetz. He's a fantastic person and he's a smart guy. He's tall, by the way, he's tall. He's like Baron, very tall and very smart and he's ready to go to work. We want to put him in there. We love Matt Gaetz and everybody wants to talk about the ethics investigation. Here we go again, right? Every time I nominate somebody, there's an investigation, Kavanaugh, all of these people, but no investigation about Dougie Doritos, right? He got a little too crazy with a woman or something. Nobody wants to talk about Dougie Doritos. Nobody wants to talk about the bad people. There's a lot of bad people who do bad things, right? Hansey Andrew Cuomo, we have to resign, but now he's running for governor. We call him Hansey Andy, right? Yes, to listen to the Georgia satellites. We got along with them. Keep your hands to yourself, right? Keep your hands to yourself. What a reference by Mr. President and that is amazing. We have the great, by the way, we have the greatest references. I'm a walking, talking, I am a walking, talking encyclopedia. When Google needs to know something, they ring me. They say, "Sir, what is this?" I say, I give them the answer. I say, "I'm very smart. You know, we're very smart. Nobody's smarter." And that's why we picked these great people to be in our cabinet. You know, we have Hagg Seth. He's a tremendous guy, two bronze stars. We have Tulsi Hula Hula. She's going to be the director of national intelligence. And you see these stupid people talking about who should be a director of national intelligence. If you're stupid, you can't talk about it, right? John Bolton, the mustache. You look at that guy. And I don't know whose mustache is worse, his or Heraldo Rivera. I'd have to say probably Heraldo's is worse because it has, it's the curly Q, you know, you can stick it in more places. You have a good place to be if you're Heraldo, but you look at him. You look at these people, Matt Gaetz, very smart guy, very handsome guy, highly respected guy, and he's going to do a fantastic job as attorney general. That much I could tell you. Wow. Donald Trump joining us as he does every Friday here on Kaelin Company. Let's talk a little bit about your plans to dismantle the Department of Education at the federal level. Find it back to the state, also your promise to end the title nine nonsense that's going on in schools throughout our country. Your thoughts right now on how quickly you can pull off both of these on the education front. Okay. So we, we have a lot of problems with education, you know, Bobby Kennedy, I call him Bobby, right? A lot of people call him RFK. Well, I'm Bobby. I said Bobby, we're going to make America healthy again, but we're also going to make America smart again, right? And we're going to take the Department of Education and we're going to destroy it. We're going to destroy it. Okay. Like Stacey Abrams on her fourth pizza of the day, right destroyed, completely destroyed. It's going to be completely and totally gone. Like Chris Christie on a trampoline. It's gotten the, that's the end of it. It's just a huge hole. It's a crater. We call it a crater. A lot of people, a lot of people are saying it, you know, that's how the Grand Canyon came to be. A lot of bed and the rest was history, right? The Colorado River just flowed and went right through. We love that river. By the way, I built the Hoover Dam with both two hands. You know, they say they can't be done and we stopped the water. We stopped the river. We tamed the beast. They call it the beast, not the beast of the Southeast, but the beast, right? Stacey Abrams, but you look at it, the Department of Education, we're going to get rid of it. We're going to make America smart again. You have a lot of stupid people in this country and we don't need anymore. We need more stupid people. We need smart people and we're going to send the Department of Education back to the States. And what happens there will happen there, but we're going to get rid of it. We're going to take it out. It's going to be gone. And there are other parts. You know, we have the Department of government efficiency. Yeah. You have Elon. We love Elon. I call him big rocket man, right? He has the big rockets. I have the biggest rocket, but he has big rockets too. And you have the fake. Right? He's a tremendous person. They're going to go to all these people and they're going to tell them, just like I tell them, you're fired. You got it. We don't need you. And a lot of them are threatening to quit, which means we don't need their jobs anyway. But we're going to get rid of these people. We're going to have a lean, mean governing machine. It's going to be tremendous. We're going to have it's going to be lean. It's going to be fantastic. Like my beautiful body. I'm lean. I'm just coming. Fantastic shape. I got a call from Apollo, you know about him. He's a Greek God. He said, sir, you look fantastic. What is your secret? I told him McDonald's. He couldn't believe it. But that's what we do. McDonald's and a lot of golf, right? And I'm the only person, by the way, I'm the only person on an 18-hole course who's ever shot a 15. Nobody knows how it happened. But I shot the lowest round of golf. I shot a round of golf lower than AOC is IQ. No, it believes it. I can't believe it. Which is like a two, right? Like here's a two. How could you do that, sir? So we're going to get rid of the Department of Education and make America smart again because we can't have any more shifty shift. He's a stupid person with a watermelon head. He's got a huge head. Nothing's inside of it. It's hollow. You knock and you hear an echo for days. There's nothing in there. It's a hollow head, watermelon head. Bug eyes. You see the eyes on that guy? He's a stupid person. We don't need any more people like that. So we're getting rid of the Department of Education. Donald Trump's going to stick around with us. Quick break. We'll see what Mr. Trump has to say about his return to the White House and what the conversations were like with Joe Biden a few days ago. Back after this year on a Friday on Kaling Company, a lot of people seeing the smile on Joe Biden's face as you guys are sitting there a cross street made from each other, shaking hands. What was the conversation like? Well, it felt okay. It didn't smell very good, but it felt okay. You know, the last time that I stood next to him, that close was the debate stage, right? Yeah. I would see it and I was remembering a beautiful song I helped right with the Vansant brothers, Leonard Skinner. They got to look very well with them. And unfortunately, I wasn't your president. If I was your president, that plane never would have went down. I just want to say that. But we never would have let it happen, right? We never would have let it happen. But that smell, okay, you can't believe it. And there's a fireplace behind him. I thought we were going to have a problem, okay, because methane happens to be very explosive. And it was a lot. It was a really big problem. I think he thought I was the pope because Operation Tootsie Roll turned into Operation Chocolate pudding very quickly and soft serve, right, Mr. Softie. But Crooked Joe, you know, I'm sitting there. We're talking and the press starts asking questions and he made a face. And if you know what I'm talking about, he made the face. I said, oh boy, it's Dr. Jill, we need the diaper duty. We need somebody in here. We had a problem. And he was making the face. I said, Joe, not right now, Joe, please don't do it right now. I never want to put a mask on again, but I had to put one on, you know, I had to get the hell out of the hair was terrible, but it felt great, smelled horrible, but felt great to be back in the White House. Well, we got a steam clean the hell out of that place because there's been diaper bombs the entire last four years, but we'll be back there in 66 days and we'll steam clean. We'll clean it. We'll make the White House clean again and we'll make America great again. But my goodness, I got to tell you, it was a really bad time. It smelled horrible. It smelled really bad. It was so bad. I lost my appetite for McDonald's. Could you believe it was so bad, but it's going to get a lot better, right? It's going to get a lot better. You know, speaking of McDonald's as we wrap up here, Bobby Kennedy is going to make America healthy again, but you know, he's talked about it publicly. The, you don't drink water. You eat way too much McDonald's diet coaks. You've gone 48 hours without sleep. Are you going to take Bobby Kennedy's advice under advisement? Are you just going to shove that one on the back burner for a little bit? Well, well, I have to say this, right? We love Bobby. He's a great guy, but he should worry about himself, right? You know, next time he tells me that, I'm going to tell him, speak up. I can't hear you. Okay. Uh, because, and you're not supposed to say it. I know you're not supposed to say that, but he's not supposed to talk about my diet. Okay. Because I got this far. I'm a great golfer. Uh, I have a beautiful body, right? You know, you look at it, Adonis, all these beautiful people, I got along well with the Greek gods Achilles, right? And I'm better than Achilles. So I've been hitting the Achilles and I'm not dead, right? I'm still here. Oh, we do a great job, right? We do a fantastic job. And if I was in the Trojan war, right? George Santos fought very hard in the Trojan War, by the way, built the horse. But you look at it. My diet is fantastic. Okay. I've gotten this far without water. We have the diet coke. We do well. We do very well with McDonald's. We do very well with the McNuggets, you know, we have the MAGA. It's called the McWinn, a small, medium or MAGA size. We have the MAGA size McWinn. I'm going to keep eating that despite what he says. And it wasn't 40 and I was without sleeping with 72. That's three straight days. Nobody can do that. I can do it. And I came out looking better than ever. I wore the vest. I drove a garbage truck. I was doing gold sorts of great things. Orange man and an orange vest. They want to say horrible things about my diet, my lifestyle. I have the greatest diet. I have the greatest lifestyle. I have the greatest health record. Cognitively, I'm the sharpest guy, the smartest guy, the most handsome guy. And the healthiest guy. And so we're doing very well. We're going to do okay. Bobby is going to be okay. He just has to not talk about that because my diet is fantastic and my health is fantastic. John Ferris, ladies and gentlemen, doing his great Donald Trump work as always. And he will stick around coming up in the nine o'clock hour. The weave was strong this morning. I mean, just amazing, amazing stuff. We do well with diet. I mean, just the any, honestly got any comedian should study the nuance in this Trump impression. It is just, it's fantastic. Do the best. And then when you do the shouting of the sir, I've added that in recently. I love that. Yeah. It's great. It's great. We go in. We go in with sir. We do a lot of service. Absolutely. We do a lot of service. All right. We'll continue. I'm still kind of stuck. So it's with us in the nine o'clock hour and we're back after this start your day with Kaitlyn company week three morning, six till 10 and talk radio, 12, 10, WPHT and the free Odyssey app. And I wanted to just get your, your thoughts right here, Sean on obviously the, the Bobby Kennedy stuff and the Matt Gates stuff. The media has sunk their teeth into both. I think Bobby Kennedy will get a lot of the coverage today. Matt Gates certainly was in the crosshairs yesterday. How do you think both of these are going to play out as far as being confirmed and also the meltdown from the mainstream media? Well, Gates, I think is going to be rocky. Even if there was no ethics investigation, he's a firebrand. The left doesn't like the way, you know, he speaks about different issues. They don't like the fact that he's been a steadfast ally of Donald Trump. He's been a defender of the J six community. So Gates is going to be tough. I don't know if he can get through Senate confirmation, but there's always the option, I guess, of recess appointments. And I think Obama did that 130 something times. So for anybody who's going to get upset with that, Barack Obama did it a bunch. So you know why, why not? I'm just doing what he did. You tell me he's just a great president and we're just doing what he did. But I got to say, I think it's bold to nominate a guy like Gates, right? Because he's, I mean, you know what he's going to do. You've heard him, you've heard him grill Christopher Ray and you've heard him grill Merrick Garland. And look, I want to be very clear. I don't want the justice system weaponized against anybody where we start creating crimes. However, if law breaking has occurred and after an investigation, a real investigation, not a bogus one or we're planting stuff or we're coming up with crimes, but a real investigation. If there was criminal activity or reasonable suspicion of criminal activity, by all means you start indicting people because you have to hold them accountable. If we get through investigations and we find out that, you know, that there were, there's reasonable suspicion of crimes committed and we let that skate, then nothing gets fixed. So I think Gates is one of the only people who would actually, you know, pursue that to the very end thoroughly. I love the pick. RFK, I think he'll get in. I think a lot of people will realize that this guy is the perfect person for HHS. You know, the FDA will now have to report to him because it's an agency within HHS. And there's a lot of issues with our food. I'm sorry. I've never seen this and not just our food, right? I mean, Brett and my wife ordered a dress the other day. And we washed it and it smelled and we found out this formaldehyde in it, right? Like, I mean, what are we doing with these? Why is there so many toxic chemicals in everything that we do? You know, I mean, it just, it blows my mind and there are people who are like, that's a conspiracy. It's not a conspiracy. Everyone's got a problem, right? Like irritable bowel syndrome, right? I mean, like, I didn't think that was a thing, but now it is a thing because the stuff that we consume irritates our bodies. It's just, it's, it's gross. There's mental health crises. You guys were talking about it before, one of the best things, one of the best ways to improve your mental health is to improve your physical health. Go for a walk, go exercise. When I would, you know, go sprint on the treadmill here, my apartment complex on an incline, it would clear my mind. I would be tired and, you know, suck and wind for probably the rest of the day, but I'd be in a happier place mentally because I just exerted myself on treadmill, right? Brand. You know, it's, it's, these are things that we need to do. And then you look at who's in charge of health now. Like I said, Rachel or Richard or whatever you want to call him, Levine, you know, can't figure out what he or she or they, them is. And then you have Bobby Kennedy who's out there, you know, bench pressing and pull-ups and, you know, talking about healthy food. That's the guy I want to charge of health in our country. So I think he'll get in. And I think he's dead serious about making things better. And I'm excited to see it because, you know, what we need it, no, I don't know any other country. Everybody sick all the time. It's disgusting. It is. John Ferris joining us live from Nashville as he does every Friday here on talk radio 1210. You know, the mass exit is from social media has begun. It's bad enough that people have meltdowns on social media, record themselves crying and then post it. But now you've got Don Lemon, you've got Joy Reid, Sonny Hostin, all of these individuals that have deactivated their social media account on X and they're going elsewhere. And then as if it wasn't enough for Don Lemon to post a video announcing he's leaving and why he's leaving, he actually drafted a letter on official Don Lemon letterhead and decided to give you the written statement as well. I love this. I love the fact that people are so bent out of shape over an election that they're bailing because they can't stand it anymore. And it's like a mental health cleansing. Your thoughts on all of these ridiculous, um, me, me, me, look at me, I'm going out the front door. Try to bring me back moments. These people are expecting folks to get on their hands and knees and don't please don't go. And what's really happening is all right. See you. These are the same people who complain that, oh, well, ever since Elon took over at an echo chamber, okay, then don't leave because if you, if you want to present a different perspective, then present it, don't run away. And they're like, well, the right ran away from Twitter when, you know, uh, Jack Dorsey ran it. Well, not really. A lot of us were sent away. Yeah. I was suspended and banned. We didn't leave on our own accord. I stayed. It was brutal. I never got suspended. I got a couple of warnings or whatnot. And, you know, the shadow bands and the throttling or whatever you want to call it, but I didn't leave. I used other platforms, but I never left, right. I never believed giving up is just, you know, in that situation, that's not the answer. Okay. On social media, it's like it's, it's, it's these people complain that it's an echo chamber and then leave and make it an echo chamber. And they're expecting people to get on their hands and knees and beg them not to go. And then they're, they're seeing that like, you know, they're not as popular and like as revered as they think they are, you know, joy read leaving was what was met with more applause than it was, you know, people pleading with her to stay. I don't know anybody who is like, oh, I really hope like the only reason I hoped joy read didn't leave acts is because I love trolling her on that platform, right? You know, like when, when, when Kamala's wins or whatever, that would, that account, one of my favorite accounts, by the way, and I love that account. They're so much fun to just, I, I love them. They changed the democratic wins and my favorite thing to do now is they're like, this is the leadership we need. I just post the electoral map and I was like, no, this is the leadership. It's just, it's a lot of fun. But I don't want, I don't want them to go. I like having, you know, opposing perspectives on, on X and the difference between, you know, now and four years ago is old leadership was banning right wing voices. Now the right, the left wing voices are banning themselves. Elon's not just spending anybody. He's not saying you can't say these things on, on X. You're very welcome to have these discussions on X, it is a digital town square. And I'll tell you this. Now, we learned the lesson too, that social media specifically the X platform is the new media now, right? Like that. There have a lot of people go there to get their news. Younger people are not turning on MSNBC. These folks walking away from that platform is only going to hurt them. They don't understand that. They think they're bigger that they're not. Joy Reid is not bigger than what that platform can do for her, right? So it's exciting to see what happens. I hope she gets fired from MSNBC or whoever, whoever, whoever buys it because it might go up for sale. Just looks at that and goes, yeah, no, we're not, we're not continuing. And her and AOC were on, on, on a show together, I guess, yesterday that is the Guinness World Record. I just reached out to them during the break. The lowest combined IQ on television history. Yeah. And under reported story, he just said that Comcast is looking to shop MSNBC. Yep. Yeah. So I want to get your, and actually, let's stay on the media for a second because MSNBC's ratings have gone in the tanks and see elections, CNN is at all time lows. I saw some numbers. They were as low as they've been since 2000 or 2001. Do you think that all of these networks that, you know, built themselves up on bashing Trump have to pivot strategically because we know the Democrat party has to. They're not going to, if they, if you didn't win in 2024, saying Trump is the devil, Trump is Hitler and Trump is a fascist, that message won't fly for the Democrat party in 2028 against JD Vancer, whoever, but does the media need to make a pivot or can they, or is this like just one of these stretches where, you know, the ratings are going to go down, but as soon as Trump gets into office, the people that want their pound of flesh from the media on the orange, and you think they, they navigate and gravitate their way towards back to, you know, both of these channels to get that type of fulfillment. I think some will, but like when you have 54% of Joy Reid's audience disappearing after the election, and it's just, it's just beautiful. It's delicious. Give me more of that. Inject that into my veins. Like, yes, sir, may I have another, I would just, it's really great to watch something like that happen. But you know, I think, I think some people will return back. I mean, MSNBC was already calling Pete Haggs at the white supremacists. So how much are they really going to change? Pete Haggs, there's always a known white supremacist, oh, he's known. He's a known white supremacist. I really, why didn't I know if it's a known thing, right? It's, it's, it is going to be par for the course. Maybe they'll tone it down a little bit because they're no longer the majority in the country. And this is what's really exciting, right? So everyone calls 2024 a political realignment. I don't think the job is done. I think this is only the beginning. You may be seeing the end of, at least for now, of the, the woke Democrat party, they're going to have to run towards the center because they just lost the popular vote. And that is something that not a lot of people are, you know, they talk about 312 electoral map, electoral votes and all of the whole electoral map thing. They just lost the popular vote. They have not lost the popular votes since 2004, George W. Bush. And the only reason he won the popular vote in '04 is because of 9/11. And, you know, it was the wartime president, just that whole thing. But they just lost the popular vote, which is usually impossible for them based off of past voting trends and the way demographics tend to vote. So everything has changed. I mean, the whole thing, they can't just pander to minorities anymore, expecting them to turn out in the cities and win, right? A lot has changed and they're going to have to change their strategy because if they go back to the same, well, the same method that just lost them the popular vote, it's only going to get worse. We will see how much responsibility they think, you know, they have for that. But I think the powers that be in the mainstream media and the Democrat party understand this isn't a finished object to this political realignment. That might just be the beginning, you know, 2028. If things go remotely well over the next four years, and I think they will, and let's say JD Vance is on the ticket, you know, Donald Trump won with what 51% of this possible JD Vance pulls 53 54% of the popular vote. I mean, we're getting out of ourselves here for sure, but I don't think this realignment in 2024 is done. I think this is only the beginning. Yeah. I agree. And I think this woke nonsense is over. It might explain why AOC apparently removed her pronouns from her Twitter profile, which caused a big stir yesterday as people realized, Hey, what happened to she slash her and her profile, which is really, which is really, really rich when you think about it, because we just played a clip earlier this week of AOC basically calling Kamala Harris a fake in a phony, right? Like, if you're not about the, the lifestyle she said of, you know, the LGBTQ plus and trans this and trans that, well, then why did you run on it? Now all the sudden AOC removes she slash her from her profile. I don't know. I'm going to take it down because she's pregnant. Who knows, right? I don't know. But I think it's funny. It looks like she's pregnant, right? She's got that look. Okay. Fine. I don't care. Congratulations. Yeah. But, you know, it's, it's funny because if she had mentioned that, you know, cause she started to look a little pregnant during, you know, before the election, she couldn't mention it, right? Because you would have a rabid segment of the people who follow her who would demand as a symbol of, you know, unity with their cause that she would have an abortion. That's how sick these people are. I think it would have happened. If she came out before the election and said, I'm pregnant, you would have people saying abort the baby, improve that you stand with us. That's a ritual. I mean, this is the same group of people that put an abortion bus, mobile abortion clinic outside their convention, right? And there were no reservations left. So it's kind of sad. I don't know what, uh, I don't know what, um, what's in store now for the Democrat party? Are they going to do a strategic retreat and kind of act like they abandoned the woke? But here's the problem. You have a bunch of entitled people. This is the participation trophy generations, like my generation millennials who they don't know what they don't, they don't know how to accept the word no, right? And so if, if the Democrat party says, yeah, you know, that crazy transgender movement, like we tried, but we can't, like they start to walk away, you're going to get extinction burst behavior. You know, if you teach your dog to speak, uh, and he barks and you give him a treat, well, he's going to keep barking because he's going to keep wanting treats. And when you stop giving him treats, he's going to start barking louder and louder and louder until you submit or you don't submit and the dog is going to go nuts. Right. I think they're about to go nuts. So it's going to be fun to see because I think the left wing cannibalism, right? The little Uncle Brozy stuff going on over there, they're starting to eat each other. Uh, I think that's going to be really fun to watch. So, um, exciting for the next, at least the next two years. Can I ask a quick question, Sean, Sean, you had talked about, you were here locally and you've been involved with some events where there were people nonviolent J sixers. We just saw yesterday, a court proceeding in which, in which we saw judge, uh, several judges, but one in particular who delayed actually delayed the plan trial of a J six And we're learning about DOJ now issuing some guidance. This is all new saying only go after those who hit cops. So anybody with a misdemeanor, don't, don't do that. But this was Will Pope. I don't know if you know, this is the, I know him very well actually. He's actually a pro say defendant. He is, uh, he is defending himself and this guy, if you guys are not following, if anybody listen is not following, he's at free state will on X. He's a good friend of mine. He's a great guy. He's a very, very smart guy. And he has been defending himself, um, in, in these proceedings. And yeah, he won. He got his court, his, his trial was, I believe supposed to start on December 2nd. And it was adjourned. Um, he has been kicking the, you know what out of the DOJ by himself. And he's not a law student. He's, he was, uh, he had to, I think he was some sort of engineering. I'm not exactly sure. But he's not a lost. He was going for his PhD. He stopped to defend himself. He's probably the most talented legal person involved in J six and it's not a law guy. He's just smart. Right. And, uh, yeah, he's, he's a pro say defendant and it was Will Pope's trial. I heard about it yesterday. And I know Will Pope pretty well, he's a, he's a really cool dude. Um, the, the J six community, I'm going to say this, they need us more than any, anything right now. Okay. Non violent, a lot of offenders who have been, I mean, uh, Captain Christopher Kune is another one. Uh, he was charged with civil disorder. I mean, didn't do anything violent. He was helping police officers and folks on J six clean up. He asked them, what can I do to help? They nailed them with civil disorder. He is, uh, he's currently serving in prison. His mother's taken care of, uh, of her son, uh, little Chris, who's amazing, love this kid. And, uh, and I'll tell you what, you know, he was dealing with it before going into jail. Um, and, and I fought, you know, you could follow her, her, his wife on, on ex, um, Annette Kune, but, uh, you know, his employer said, well, you're, you're now a felon. You can't work for us. So they need these pardons. We need the non violent J sixers off the bat. They need pardons. And then you go case by case, okay, with the ones who, uh, who have been convicted of some sort of violent act and you determine what led to that violent act. I don't want to see, look, we are a country that has to abide by law and order. If you did hit police officers, if you attack cops, we got to have a conversation about that. Uh, you can't tell me entrapment, I mean, in some cases, again, you go case by case, but you don't attack police. All right. You have to, you have to have self control. And if you did, there are going to be, uh, there's going to be consequences. Okay. And I think if we can return to being reasonable, we can say, all right, if you were assaulting cops, that's a problem and we should deal with it. Now we can talk about sentences and are they harsh and everything else, but the non violent offenders like Will Pope, uh, like the late, unfortunately, Matthew Purna, who walked into the Capitol, 30 minutes, had his cell phone walked out. They hit him with terrorism enhancements. He killed himself. Okay. He killed himself. And the department of justice told his aunt, Jerry Purna, well, if he had just held on, we would have dropped that charge. I mean, uh, what, what are we doing? This is what the DOJ has done to these people. And what I'm afraid of, and I don't think it's going to happen with Trump, right? I don't think he's going to forget. But I think the public pressure is going to shift to other things that Jason's community has been abandoned. Uh, you're right. I've done a lot of work with Patriot Freedom Project. They're an amazing foundation, uh, and they're not just focused on the defendants, but they're focused on the defendant's families. A lot of people hear about these guys in gals who are in jail. What about the moms and the, the children who have to spend the holidays without their fathers and their mothers and their families are getting torn apart. We hear about separating families at the border. We don't hear about separating families over Jay six, do we, right? So, you know, uh, it's a great organization I work with and they take care of these families. Um, we got to be there for them. They deserve that. They stood up for us. They stood up for what we believe was a rotten election in 2020. They got a terrible deal from, from the DOJ. Uh, they've been mistreated, dragged, they've been put on, on no fly list. Their families have been ruined. Their finances have been ruined, their businesses have been ruined. We need to be there for them. And, uh, in a big way, I know I will, um, Will Pope is doing a great job, as you mentioned, Don. Yeah. And, uh, follow him on acts at free state will, you'll get all the information you need. He's, he's phenomenal. This guy. So it looks like that his case. I mean, basically this was an Obama appointed judge who basically said it's not a good use of judicial resources, yeah, cause it's a non violent, he, he was cute. He's a good writer. He was clever. He wrote what happened. Then he wrote, unfortunately, the prosecutors facial expressions won't make it into the court transcript, you know, so he has been kicking their tails. He has been kicking them in the nuts ever since he defended himself. I'll tell you what really what also what that judge saying, not a good use of prosecutorial resources. They can't beat him. Yeah. They're going to be throwing stuff at the wall and none of it's going to stick. He was going to beat them. And if it continues, he will beat them. That's what it also means. It's not just that he wasn't violent. He's better than they are. And they know it and they're not going near it. That's, they don't want to get embarrassed. We know what they in so many cases, when I would read the, the court transcripts, they wanted to break these people and you have men and some served in the military and our cops, and they, they wanted them to break down. They wanted to break them. And that, that was, to me, it was this vengeful situation where these were nonviolent offenders, walked in and walked around in the case of Zachary Reel from the Northeast, wife and kids live, you know, live here as wife and daughters, live here. He was not charged with any violence. It's that seditious conspiracy. He's serving 15 years, you know, with sentence with that. And by the way, he was picked up here in Philadelphia right after Jay six and, and never has never been out since that time. Sean, we got it. We got a role. We got a paid segment coming up with window nation. I got to get to. I would chat with you for the rest of the show. If we could. But great stuff, brother. We'll talk to you next week. It's a killing company on demand from talk radio 1210 W.P.H.T. and the free Odyssey app. Cale and company as we continue our talk radio 1210 W.P.H.D. veteran spotlight as we honor the greatest generation, the last great generation, World War Two vets and it's all brought to you by window nation. For all of your window and door needs, visit window nation.com and today we speak with Helen McCoch as she will talk about her husband, William McCoch. Helen, good morning. It is a pleasure to chat with you. How are you doing this morning? Yes. Good morning. I'm doing good. It is so great to have you in and honor your husband, William, who was in World War Two as a Marine, a Corporal in the 4th Division and a radio man who served in the Pacific. Let's talk about that stretch from 1941 to 1945. What are some of the stories that you recall hearing from him and some of the first-hand accounts that you can relay with our audience here? Actually, he never talked much about what he went through because I think it was so devastating. He just did not want to reveal what he went through, but he was in the 4th Division and the 1st Battalion and he was the 1st Jasko joint assault signal company. He was in charge of radio communications. He battled in the South Pacific, Iwo, Cypien, and Tinian. Yes, he was awarded two Purple Hearts for Iwo Tivo and Cypien, and he was a carpenter, a custom home builder known for the quality of spurt, and he loved boating and saltwater fishing and deer hunting, and he enjoyed vegetable gardening and building furniture being surrounded by family and friends and having a good time. That's a great life lived and I thought it was very interesting. I was reading about how he apparently got two Purple Hearts and then you throw in the Bronze Star as well, but one of the stories with Iwo Jima is that he's on the beach for 29 hours under attack and he landed on the wrong beach and had to run to the right place to set up communication all during and being under heavy fire from the opposition. I can't imagine what that is like when you're deployed and they set you up in the wrong position, I mean you're off to a terrible start and God bless the guy, he was able to deal with it and be able to succeed a little bit. Oh yes, I imagine that is why he never talked about what he went through and he had no casualty in his platoon at that time and like I say he went through so much and he had so much shrapnel in his body and he was just devastated by all that he went through that he would never talk to his family about what was going on and what he went through. Post military service he comes back you mentioned he doesn't talk much about at all honestly what was the career of choice for him post serving and how did he kind of separate his military profession from his post military time? Well he was a carpenter and a custom home builder known for the quality of his work and he loved boating and saltwater fishing and deer hunting. He enjoyed vegetable gardening, building furniture, being surrounded by family and friends and having a good time. That's awesome, Helen thank you so much for the time today, it's always great to speak to anybody that had a relationship with much less married to somebody that served our country World War II, William J. McCoch in the Marines, Corporal in the 4th Division and he served from 1941 to 1945. God bless you Helen, thank you so much for your time today. Oh thank you so much, I appreciate it and I enjoy listening to your show. Well thank you very much Helen, yes, it's very important to me, thank you very much. There you go, window nation for all of your window and door needs, visit windownation.com as we continue here on Kaling Company on talk radio 12 10 W H T and now we welcome in our guest today, Josh Jabin, the name might be familiar, the voice, the visual you've seen in plenty of times with the Travis Manian Foundation. He is the chief operating officer of TMF and he's with us today for our veteran spotlight as we highlight those and their service from World War II, Josh, good to see you again. How you doing pal? I'm doing great, thanks for having me on today. It's great to have you on, so let's just start with veterans day in general and how important this day is and we've made it a week, we're going to carry it over into next week, but just the needs of this generation of veterans because, and Greg has mentioned this, there's very few of these individuals that are left, I mean these are men or women that are, you know, 97, 98, 101, just how important is this for them? Very important, my grandfather was a submarine in World War II who was killed when his summer was on its maiden voyage and I can tell you that veterans day and acknowledging World War II was important not only to the veterans but to their families, to my mom, to make sure that that generation is still appreciated, the fact that we have the freedom and the liberty that we enjoy today is on the backs of those previous generations of veterans and their families. You know the one thing I've learned this week and I've learned a lot from speaking with so many of these veterans and I still have more to speak with in the coming days and we're going to continue this into next week is upon returning the ability, because, and we talked about this yesterday with Michael Steinberg and we highlighted his grandfather, you know, they didn't either talk about it or they didn't know about post-traumatic stress disorder. You know, this is a generation of tough guys and you just manned up and you didn't get into your feelings and you didn't, we didn't have all the spotlights on mental health. I just find it remarkable that some of these individuals could bottle it up for so long and perhaps even when they, they perish, they never talk about what they experienced and the impact that it had on their mental well-being and I know that's a big part of TMF. Post-traumatic stress is a normal reaction when you undergo trauma. Our bodies are programmed to protect us and whatever trauma you go through, it doesn't have to be military trauma. There's all types of trauma that people experience in life and the body is programmed to defend us and that's what post-traumatic stress is. It's normal and that's my message to previous generations who maybe have never sought help or acknowledged that they have it, to modern-day veterans who have experienced trauma and are experiencing any sort of unmet mental health condition. These are very normal reactions, post-traumatic stress or other unmet mental health conditions like anxiety, depression, these are very normal things and they're very treatable things. Yeah, they really are. You mentioned your grandfather in World War II. Obviously, your time serving alongside Travis. If you could just give us a brief history of your family and their commitment to service ranging from World War II up until today. So when my grandfather was killed on the USS Escalar, my grandmother was pregnant with my mom. He passed a couple of weeks before my mother was born so she never met her father. That really impacted her and she had the typical story that she and her mother got the telegram and the mail. They didn't have organizations like they do today like Travis Magnet Foundation and others that are there to support our Gold Star families. They got the telegram and that was it and they move forward with their lives and that's really impacted my mother. We just celebrated her 80th birthday and all she wanted to do was go up to New Latin Connecticut where there's a World War II memorial for submariners and my grandfather's name and his submarine is on a memorial there and she read us a speech that she had written talking. I mean, it was emotional just thinking about it. I mean, she's carried this with her her entire life and when my brother, who's eight years older than me, he joined the Navy my junior year in high school and he told me, you know, the Navy took care of mom after her father died and it's our job to pay the Navy and our country back. And he was the biggest influence on me going to the Naval Academy and eventually joining the Marine Corps. Yeah. Josh Jabin with us from the Travis Mannion Foundation. The other thing I learned about a lot of these World War II veterans is once they came home and they found their next career, their passion, their purpose. That's obviously a big thing with the Travis Mannion Foundation is the level of pride that they took in their career of choice. I spoke with a guy who was a painter, another guy was a carpenter, another guy was a home builder. And I feel like today's generation and the youth of today, they don't really take the same level of pride in their work. I'm not sure if you could talk about that with any of your family members that served, but I mean, these are people that are like, you know, hey, if I'm going to paint or if I'm going to build something or I'm a carpenter, if I don't get it 100% right, I'm going to do it over again until I get it perfectly right. I feel like that's a trait that is lost on today's society. You agree with that? I think that veterans bring so much to the workplace. Like you talked about, you know, that work ethic, that attention to detail, that seeking perfection and really believing in your work and integrity, making sure that what you do is the highest quality that you give people what they ask for. You know, I do think that that's a quality that we learn in the military. It's very high standards as anybody who has served knows and and I do think that's that's something that you take with you for the rest of your life. Josh, a pleasure to chat with you as always and before you know it, Radio Thon will be here. I actually just received the invitation email a few days ago, Friday, March 21st. That's right. 2025. Yeah. Before you know it. Travis Manning, Travis Manning and Radio Thon will, we are going to, well, try and exceed $100,000. I will be raised for you guys last year. Yeah. Yeah. And you, you're incredible partners. I just want to give a shout out to you and your team, the way that you support TMF and the way that you empower us to, to support the veterans and the families of the fallen that we support is just incredible. So thank you so much for all you do for us. Thanks, Josh. We love you guys. Thanks, buddy. There he is. Josh Jabin of the Travis Manning Foundation. He is the chief operating officer and of course, a big thanks to our buddy, Ed Donovan, the senior director of marketing and communications. So we're going to continue this into next week because we've gotten an outpouring of support and interviews and interview requests from, and these two, these two that you're going to hear on Monday and Tuesday are actual, like they're, one's 100 and the other's 101 or something like that. One's 98. The other's 101, like still live, still kicking. By the way, mentally Kale could probably run, run, run circles around both of you and I. Yes. And physically run circles around me and then bench, press me and throw me in the discucal. Yeah. We'll, we'll hear, we'll hear about them. We'll hear from them on Monday to just continue with, this is, this is actually Veterans Month. That's right. We're just going to do this for the entire month. That's right. So, you know, thank you to everybody who submitted a family member or a relative or whatever for this, the outpouring and the support of this has just been insane. Who's going to be running on the art steps next Wednesday, correct Wednesday, Wednesday. He will be paying off a bet. He said that if Trump won, he would run up the art museum steps in his boxer shorts with a with Trump paraphernalia on. We have a Kale and company 1210 WPHD flag that he will be carrying. It will be live 830 on Wednesday morning. Everybody needs to show support for Jimmy and come down there. He's being a good sport about this. He didn't have to do this. It's amazing. Newman Price is the best. Thank you. So Wednesday morning 830, uh, go down there and show Jimmy some support. That's right. I think we've given him time now to catch his breath because Phil Amquist, uh, the printer was out of paper. So he had to print his script for today in music history in the mailroom. I feel for him. I do too. Meryl. Actually, Phil was running through the Odyssey hallways. There he goes. He just gave Dave Scopin, it just stiff arm. He's bobbing and weaving clothes. That was the 530 this morning when he walked in the door. Unbelievable. Even Yodgeroff cannot believe the dedication of Mr. Onquist. With that being said, let's get to it. I did appear. But here we go. Friday, November 15th. We start with the birthday of Steve Fossen from Hart, who's 75. And Joe Lee wave from the Thompson twins who's 69. Headlee birthday, shout out to Tony Thompson from the power station and Roy Clark from Heathaw. Didn't mention that on a little while. Signal the Good, the Gamboard by Kenny Rogers in 78. Lack of water by the Duby brothers in 74. The heat is on by Glenn Fry in 84. Pink boys have us a guard in 75. And I don't normally mention singles two days before the anniversary. But since "Road Warrior" asked me about a month ago, highly suspect released Bloodfeather on November 17th, 2015. Albums that coat sates and sitters by Whitesnake in 82. Flashback from Joe Jet in 93. Vogue coming by America in 72. Also in 1990, German producer Frank Baryon admits Millie Vanilly didn't actually sing on their album, Big Shocker There. In 65, the stolen made their U.S. TV debut at Hall of the Loo. And in 26, 1926, the very first network radio broadcast airs on the new National Broadcasting Company. But lastly, and this is really for Nick. On this day in 92, the Rock of Ages episode of "Merry with Children" aired with, among others, Robbie Krieger from the Doors, Mark Lindsey from Paul Revere, and the Raiders, Spencer Davis and Richie Havens. They all form old aid without and perform "We are the Old." We are the Old. We have arthritis. All of that. Have a great weekend. Forky old company. I pull off course. By the way, just in case you didn't know Phil, you're camera-fursing. Yeah. What a shocker. Yeah. It's been freezing all day. Yeah. It's such a weird look on your face. Yeah. I think that's the way you look when you watch the Jets play. Well, that may be true, but at least I get the Eagle scores right. There you go. Wow. All right. Phil Amquist today in music history as we pivot on over to Don Stenzel and to see what she has lined up about six minutes from now. Yeah. There's so much breaking and so much developing. We do have the latest on J6 or some encouraging news with that, more news with that to go on with that conversation. We have the largest union in Philadelphia. Are they on the verge of a strike of going out on strike? This is your garbage collection. The water department could be like a huge strike happening. We'll talk about that. Linda Kearns updating us. What's going on with the recount? We have new information on the big recount making national news. Obviously, Dave McCormick, Casey Jr., who refuses to concede, and there's so much going on. Oh my gosh. We have the Lake and Riley opening arguments. I'm watching that in here. Yes. So, they were doing procedural stuff and we'll get into the heart of that and tell you what's going on. So, we have that and we have a great author coming up talking about you've heard of CUNON and alleged, you know, right-wing conspiracies. What about the left-wing conspiracies? Blue and on. Blue and on. Yes. Yes. You knew it. I did. Look at me. So, the author of Blue and on. Cool. We'll be at 1030 Stacey Garrity or PA treasury, new treasurer, re-elected, taken a victory lap. We'll get more votes than Trump, uh-oh. So, we'll, uh, setting new records. There's so much going on. We'll have all of it. Okay. By the way, everybody needs to stay tuned. All on YouTube for Dawn and, uh... Thank you. Yeah. And perhaps Frozen Phil, who still hasn't moved in, in Box 4. Box 4 is always a tough box. Can we fix this camera? What the hell is wrong? I am not. Are we a major market operation? Here was happening. I just don't know. I mean, really. Holy crap. Holy crap. I feel like draw a mustache on him. I like it. Aw, that's not right. That's funny. That's funny. Good discretion. All right. That'll do it for us. Stay tuned for the Dawn Show. She is up next. Everybody, have a great weekend. We'll talk to you Monday morning at 6 and for the meantime, if you're on YouTube, keep watching because Box 4 is Frozen and that's how Phil rolls on and I fell so on this. We'll see ya.
