[music] This is Viewpoint with Attorney and Author Chuck Chris Meyer. Viewpoint is a one-hour talk show confronting the issues of America's heart and whole. And now with today's edition of Viewpoint, here is Chuck Chris Meyer. "For behold, darkness shall cover the earth and gross darkness the people." Wow, sounds like a worldwide eclipse, doesn't it? Well, we're reading from Isaiah chapter 60, verse 2. It says, "Arise, shine, for your light is calm, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you, for behold, the darkness shall cover the earth and gross darkness the people." Well, why is that? Because the Son of Righteousus will no longer shine in the earth. Welcome to Viewpoint here on the eve of the eclipse, as the eclipse of the Son, the total solar eclipse, is making its way across the United States, the western world, soon to disappear. You got to see somewhere between one and three or four minutes of total darkness. Darkness was not covering the total earth, but was darkness was covering a major part of the western world. A total solar eclipse, across the United States today, with parts of 15 states within the path of totality, as skies darkened in the middle of the day, yes, up April 8th. The total eclipse would first appear along Mexico's Pacific coast, around 11 a.m. Pacific daylight time, and then travel across a swath of the U.S. from Texas to Maine and into Canada. As we connected with the satellite agency here today, we connected with a gentleman who was in the spot of the total eclipse there in Dallas, Texas. That's right, about 31 million people lived in the path of totality, the area where the moon would fully block out the sun, and the path would raise between 108 and 122 miles wide, and additional 150 million people lived within 200 miles of the path of totality. The path of totality included portions of the following states, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine, and small parts of Tennessee and Michigan. Several major cities across the U.S. were included in the eclipses path of totality, San Antonio, Texas, Austin, Texas, Waco, Texas, Dallas, Texas, Little Rock, Arkansas, Indianapolis, Indiana, Dayton, Ohio, Cleveland, Ohio, Buffalo, New York, Rochester, New York, Syracuse, New York, and Burlington, Vermont. The next total solar eclipse that we visit will be visible from the continuous United States will be August 23rd, 2044. But I also have in my hands the solar and lunar eclipses worldwide for the next 10 years, maybe later on in the program. We'll talk about that, but I welcome you to Viewpoint. I'm Chuck Chris Meyer. Today on Viewpoint, we ask the question, are we eclipsing Christ coming? Eclipsing Christ coming. You know, when you look at the interest factor associated with the total eclipse, you've got to realize that this is a pretty big deal. Apparently in the mind and heart of people, the solar eclipse sweeping across major parts of the United States was the biggest deal in their lifetime. Of course, the majority of those people are not interested at all and aren't even aware that there is a second coming of Jesus Christ that could well come within their lifetime, but they're not particularly interested in that. They're not interested in the fact that darkness is covering the earth before that time. No, those things just don't seem to grab their attention, but what does grab their attention is a solar eclipse. And so millions of people across the United States were making special arrangements not to be ready for the second coming, but special arrangements to be able to view for anywhere from a minute to four minutes, a total eclipse of the sun. So what do they do in preparation? Well, in preparation, they managed to get off work. In fact, I'm told that people, kids have been let off school all across America in order to view the total eclipse or some portion of it. But people were getting off work. Employers were letting people off work to view the total eclipse. Such was the demand. Such was the interest. Such was the preparation that it seems that the whole nation was in the eclipse. Think about that. Think about how many people were involved and are still involved in the preparation for this eclipse. I mean, up there in the North country of America, up there in New York and up there into Canada, we find the eclipse still taking place. But the interesting factor is that in the book of Revelation, we're told that when Christ comes, He comes with clouds, and every eye is going to see Him. Not just people in certain swaths zones, but every eye on the planet is going to see the sun of righteousness coming in His glory. Question, how many people, what percentage of people in the United States will be preparing or are preparing for that event? What percentage of the people across this planet are preparing for that event? Well, they already have darkness that's sweeping over the earth and gross darkness, the book of Isaiah tells us. That's the condition of our world before Christ's coming. When He comes, it is glory, and shall shine brighter than the sun. Behold, He cometh with clouds, and notwithstanding the fact that He cometh with clouds is the book of Revelation 1, verse 7, but every eye is going to be able to see Him notwithstanding that He comes with clouds. Some people say that the clouds represent a large group of people. The Bible doesn't say that, but then there are some people who believe that. Regardless of what they believe, it says, "Behold, He cometh with clouds, and every eye shall see Him." Can you imagine what people are doing in order to prepare to see the eclipse or the absence of the sun through the eclipse? Actually, they had made travel arrangements months, perhaps a year in advance, to set up hotel arrangements, places where they could stay, and those cities and those regions were charging upwards of $2,000 a room just for people to be able to witness the eclipse. Talk about high demand. The demand was great. The eclipse is coming. I've got to see this. It might be the first time in my lifetime. At the only time in my lifetime, I've got to see this. Well, when Christ comes, it will be the only time in your lifetime, if it is in your lifetime. Are you preparing? Or has the eclipse actually eclipse Christ coming in your estimation? That's a future day. How far in the future we don't know. Stay tuned friends. We'll talk about it when we get back. This is viewpoint. Once upon a time, children couldn't pray and read their Bibles in school. Divorces were practically unknown as was child abuse. In our once great America, virginity and chastity were popular virtues and homosexuality was an abomination. So what happened in just one generation? Hi, I'm Chuck Chris Myron. I urge you to join me daily on viewpoint where we discuss the most challenging issues, touching our hearts and homes. Could America's moral slide relate to the fourth commandment? Listen to viewpoint on this radio station or anytime at saveus.org. [Music] One of my favorite songs growing up in the church was the song when the trumpet of the Lord shall sound and time shall be no more. When the morning breaks eternal, bright and fair, when the saints of earth are gathered over on the other shore, when the role is called up yonder, I'll be there. When the role is called up yonder, that's the name of the song, and I always have been completely not infatuated but drawn to that song. When the trumpet of the Lord shall sound. I believe it was one of my father's favorite songs as a pastor in smaller churches. Oftentimes he would actually be the music leader, particularly on a Sunday evening, when we had, what should we say, gospel, the gospel hour. And my father blew a cornet, which is a small trumpet, and oftentimes he would lead the congregation in singing that song and blow his cornet. When the trumpet of the Lord shall sound and time shall be no more. Now I have in my hands right now an article that came out from a timetable, timeanddate.com/eclipse. It's all solar and lunar eclipses worldwide in the next ten years. It's all calendared out. We have lunar eclipses and then we have solar eclipses. There are many more lunar eclipses than solar eclipses. The next solar eclipse, total solar eclipse, well, when is that? The next total solar eclipse will be on August 12th, 2026, but it's not going to be visible here in North America. Europe, North in Asia, Northwest Africa, much of North America, Pacific, Atlantic and Arctic. Then another total solar eclipse in 2027, August 2nd, Europe, Southwest Asia, Africa, East and North America, Atlantic and Indian Ocean. Another one in 2028, July 26, South in Asia, Australia, Pacific, Indian Ocean, Antarctica. Then in 2029, well, that's a lunar eclipse. Then in 2030, a total solar eclipse on November 25, South in Asia, Australia, Southeast Africa, Pacific, Atlantic, Indian Ocean and Antarctica. And on it goes. Well, it's all calendared out. The interesting thing is that the coming of the Lord is calendared out too. We're just not told exactly when it's going to be. It's going to come in the fullness of time just as when Jesus came the first time in the fullness of time. So Yeshua, Amashiyok, Jesus, the Messiah is going to come again in the fullness of time. And when he comes, every eye is going to behold him. Now, how exactly that's going to happen, I don't know. But with modern technology, it seems that the world is pretty well able to accomplish that kind of worldwide view. Whether it be via television, whether it be via some kind of artificial intelligence, we don't know. But we do know that every eye shall see him. So here's the question that I have for you. Why is it that there are almost nobody preparing for them? Everybody is fascinated with the total eclipse on April 8, 2024 in North America. But why is it that there are so few people that have any level of fascination or even faith connected with the second coming of Christ? Is the total eclipse in North America this year, this very day, actually eclipsing the second coming of Christ in people's estimations? I believe it is. I believe it is. And that's not to put down any fascination or interest people might have in the solar eclipse. If that has your imagination, if that captures your imagination with great glory, well, so be it. It did not capture my imagination with great glory. I took it for what it was, and for a short period of darkness, perhaps we experienced some of it here in Richmond, Virginia, a microcosm of it, but certainly not the full solar eclipse. But the reality is these things happen and are going to happen. We are told in the Bible that they are going to happen. We're told in a number of different places that they're going to happen. So we're told that they're going to prepare us for another time, an even greater momentous event, and that is the second coming of Jesus Christ. So why is it that people aren't excited in preparing for that? Why is it that professing Christians don't even want to talk about it? It's called the Blessed Hope of the Church, but they don't see it as the Blessed Hope of the Church. Why don't Christians see it as the Blessed Hope of the Church? Because they've not been given any indication, any promise, any preface for it, even in the preaching in their congregations. As one pastor told me, we don't want to prepare people for prophetic or end times events because that engenders fear in their minds. We just want people to love Jesus. Well, wait a minute. Are your people those that you're pastoring going to be prepared to truly love Jesus when he comes the second time to judge the earth and righteousness as the Bible says? I don't think so. So that pastor has it all upside down. He would prepare people in fascination for a total eclipse, but he wouldn't prepare the people for the second coming of Jesus Christ. Even though the Apostle Paul said, "Behold, I tell you a mystery, we shall not all sleep, but we shall be changed in that moment in the twinkling of an eye at the last trump for the trump of shall sound and the dead shall be raised incorruptible and we shall be changed." Wow. When is that? At Christ's second coming that will eclipse every other eclipse that has ever happened in the history of mankind or that will happen before he comes. So the Bible tells us that some of these other things are actually going to preface the coming of the Lord. If we were to turn to the Old Testament, we would find in the book of Joel some things that would foretell these events. In Joel chapter 2, for instance, verse 10, it says, "The earth shall quake; the heavens shall tremble; the sun and the moon shall be dark; and the stars shall withdraw their shining." And then the Lord shall utter His voice for the day of the Lord is great and very terrible and who can abide it. In other words, who is going to be able to stand when He appears? So we should rend our hearts and not our garments. For gracious and merciful is the Lord, slow to anger and of great kindness. Who knows that He would prepare a blessing for those who prepare, so blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast and call a solemn assembly, gather the people together, assemble to the elders, gather the kids, let the priests and the ministers of the Lord weep between the porch and the altar. Why? To prepare the way for the coming of Christ when He comes in great glory, and every eye shall see Him, and nothing will eclipse His coming, including any great eclipse, a solar eclipse or a lunar eclipse. The peoples of the planet hold great spiritual implications for a lunar eclipse and a solar eclipse. But the Prophet Joel says, "Gird yourselves and lament, blow the trumpet in Zion, sound an alarm in my holy mountain, let the inhabitants of the land tremble. For the day of the Lord is coming, it is near and hand, a day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and a thick darkness." Whoa, whoa, that's in the Old Testament friends, and we're told that these things are happening, they're going to happen, we see things happening, signs in the heavens, signs in the earth, signs everywhere. Why is it that people are not preparing? Apparently they don't give much credibility to the words of the creator of the universe. They didn't give much credibility to the promise of the first coming of Christ, even Israel didn't give much credibility to that. And neither do they give much credibility to the second coming because they deny that Yeshua was indeed the Messiah and that He is coming again. So they're looking for a human being, not a divine being, a human being to come and bring to Kuhn Olam that is the healing of the world, peace on earth through a mere man. That's what Israel is looking for. That's who Orthodox Jews are looking for. So indeed, the whole idea of the eclipse of the sun or the moon supersedes even for the Jewish people. The coming of Christ because they don't believe in it. They don't believe in Christ, they don't believe in His second coming. They didn't believe in His first coming and they don't believe in His second coming. They believe His first coming is yet to come. And they're looking for a mere human. What are you looking for? If anything, that's really the question. What are you looking for? Are you looking for the coming of Christ or are you looking for your net ship to come in? Are you looking to win the lottery that's now gone to nearly the highest, one of the highest levels ever in one of these lottery things? I hear it on the radio. That's the only way I know because I've never purchased a lottery ticket. Why? Because I don't put my hope there. I'm not looking for some guest game to buy me hope for the future. I want to put my confidence in I trust in the Lord to be my provider. How about you? Where are you looking? Where's your confidence? Where's your hope? The coming of Christ is called the blessed hope of the church. Is it? You never know that by listening to Christians. You never know that by listening to pastors preaching. They're providing hope on earth. But the Apostle Paul said if in this life only we have hope we're of all men most miserable. So are you miserable yet? Are we miserable yet? Indeed we are. That's why so many are committing suicide. Our young people are committing suicide in droves. Our military are committing suicide in droves. Increasingly people are killing themselves because they sense that they have no hope. A 28 year old woman over in Europe is getting ready to commit suicide. Not because she's sick but Kushai she's lost hope. She's going to take up one of those countries whether it's the Netherlands or whatever it is that allow you to commit suicide and doctors to provide the means to do it and she's going to do it. People like this it's going to happen increasingly because people lose hope. You see people have more had more hope in the solar eclipse than they did in the coming of Christ and they still do. In the book of Amos chapter 8 it tells us a little bit more about this. He said it's going to come to pass of that day. Say it the Lord that I will cause the sun to go down at noon and I will darken the earth in the clear day. Oh my goodness. What do you think that is? It's an eclipse. Should I read that again? It shall come to pass in that day. Say it the Lord God that is right before the second coming of Christ. I will cause the sun to go down at noon. Well the sun isn't actually going to go down. It's going to be darken. The earth is going to be darken even in the middle of the day. It's called an eclipse, a total eclipse. So how many of these total eclipses do we need in order for people to realize? Maybe just maybe we're on the near end to the same. Are you ready? In one sense, Messianic firmware is growing worldwide. It's growing worldwide. Yes, in the Gentile world, particularly among Christians, but not necessarily among Christians. It's also growing in Israel. It's been growing for about 60 years in Israel, to the point now where it's almost palpable. Jewish rabbis are saying we're on the edge of the coming of Messiah. This is the time, said one rabbi, of the preparation, as Jesus said, like a woman in travail. That's the time we're in. Well, if that is believed in Israel, which it is, increasingly among many, then why is it that we don't seem to have any sense of preparation? We have more sense of preparation or expectation concerning a total eclipse than we have concerning the coming of the Son of Man to redeem the earth. Some of you may know that my latest book was called Messiah, Unveiling the Mystery of the Ages. You see, the word unveiling is the word apocalypse. The book of Revelation is actually called the apocalypse of Jesus Christ, the revelation of Jesus Christ. So when I wrote the book Messiah, Unveiling the Mystery of the Ages, indeed it was as if it were a mystery. It still is among people. It is among the Jewish people. It is among Christians. Here's what I found fascinating. When I wrote the book Antichrist, people glommed onto that book in droves. When I wrote the book Messiah, relatively few people seem to be interested. Why? Because people are not interested in Messiah. They're not interested in the Second Coming. They're interested in what comes before it. They're not interested in Christ coming. I wonder why. Can you think about why people would not be interested? Maybe it's because they think they know everything there is to know about it. Okay, well Jesus is coming. Yeah, I know that. Really? What do you know about it? Well, every eye is going to be hold him. Okay? So if every eye is going to be hold him, are you ready? Oh, I don't want to talk about that part because my pastor told me that if I once confess Christ as my Savior 40 years ago, I'm in like Flint. I don't have to live in any particular way. I'm just in. I'm guaranteed. Really? Well, the Bible says that when Jesus is coming, he's going to judge the earth and righteousness. Oh. Well, somebody told me that when I confess Christ as my Savior, then I was given the righteousness of Christ and therefore I don't have to live righteously. Oh, really? Well, maybe you didn't read the rest of the book. Maybe your pastor forgot to read the rest of the book. Maybe he's selling you what somebody else told him rather than going to what the Bible actually says. You see, there's a reason why Jesus and his apostles, including Paul, told us that we need to be ready. A number of the parables that Jesus gave are about people being ready. I remember a song that we sang when I was a junior year in high school in Wichita, Kansas in the choir. I was part of the choir. And we were singing Christian songs then in the choir, in school, public school. And one of the songs that we sang was, I want to be ready. I want to be ready. I want to be ready to walk in Jerusalem just like John. In other words, to be ready for the coming of the Lord. We sang about the chariot, Elijah's chariot. We wanted to be ready. All these songs we used to be able to sing about in our high schools, not anymore. People are not ready. They're prevented from being ready or having any interest in being ready. The whole concept of the fear of the Lord has been abandoned in our country, hasn't it? Even in our churches. We don't want to talk about that. Why is that? Well, because it doesn't market well. It doesn't sell well. It doesn't grow big churches fact quickly. How can we tell people that we know fear God? No, we want them just to love Jesus. Well, yeah, we do. But a child that doesn't learn to fear his mother and father and their authority is never going to learn to love them appropriately and will become a tyrant later on in his or her life. And God isn't going to have any tyrants in his kingdom. He's God and there ain't no other. So I'm going to make available to you, my book, Messiah, unveiling the mystery of the ages. And the reason people don't understand it is because this book contains so much that people don't know anything about. The counterfeit messiahs that are coming to skew your attention much like any clips of the sun or any clips of the moon, there are all kinds of alternative messiahs that are demanding the attention of the world, including your children. For instance, Chapter 17 of the book is called Marxist Messiah. While promising messianic hope, it devolves into despair, hopeless and horror, and that's what your children are being led to trust and believe, yes in your high schools, yes in your colleges and universities. I call it the messianic manifesto. You have no idea, not really. Vaguely, yes, really, no. The evolutionary Christ. You say, well, I don't believe in evolution. Your kids do. And when they believe in evolution, they have already had their trust in Christ as the creator of the universe totally eclipsed. You cannot believe in evolution and believe that Jesus Christ is the creator of the universe, as the Bible says. They're non-sequiturs. You can't believe both. So Christ is eclipsed by a counterfeit Christ, an evolutionary Christ, and that's exactly what the world is looking for. The whole New Age movement is based upon an evolutionary Christ. How about the worship of Mother Earth rather than Father God to battle for the souls of men? Mother Earth is eclipsing Father God. And your kids are being sucked into a total, darkening eclipse, a belief eclipse, scientific salvation. The pursuit of technological salvation. Transhumanism. Man's quest for immortality without God. You see, technology is eclipsing the expectation of the salvation of Christ. The United Nations and its promise of a one-world order is eclipsing. Even Pope Francis and two previous popes have eclipsed the expectation of the coming of Christ by the promise of a new world order that will save the people and provide them hope in place of the hope of the coming of Christ. Are you beginning to get a little bit of the indication, the implications of unveiling the mystery of the ages, Messiah? It's a $22 book. Here's for $18 on our website, SaveUs.org. Give us a call 1-800-SAVEUSA. That's 1-800-SAVEUSA or write to us at Save America Ministries. The Obox 70879, Richmond, Virginia, 23255, writing a check at $5 for postage and hailing, Messiah, unveiling the mystery of the ages. Your eyes will be opened. Hopefully, your heart will be opened. And you will understand so much of what is seeking to eclipse your true expectations, the expectations of your sons, your daughters, your grandchildren, pastors, yes, of your congregations. Yes, you will. In that day, what day is that that the Bible talks about in that day? Well, in that day is talking about the day, the immediate period of time, just before the second coming of Christ, in that day. You see, we're in that period now. It's called a season. Just like the season of spring comes in gradually, it kind of goes back and forth, a little bit of winter, a little bit of spring, a little bit of winter, a little bit more of spring, and so on, until you gradually get into the fullness of spring, and then it begins to move towards summer. Gradually, the seasons come on that way, well, the season before the coming of Christ comes on in that way. So, in the book of Isaiah, it says, the day of the Lord is at hand. Therefore, all hands shall be faint, every man's heart shall melt. They're going to be afraid. The day of the Lord comes in some very special ways. We'll see what it says when it comes back. Stay tuned for this view. Have you ever considered what the early church was like? Many people are developing a heart longing for a greater fulfillment in our practices as Christians. A recent study showed 53,000 people a week are leaving the back door of America's churches in frustration. What is going on? Why has there not been even a 1% gain among followers of Christ in the last 25 years? Could it be that God is seeking to restore 1st century Christianity for the 21st century? Jesus said, "I'll build my church." Is Christ by His Spirit stirring to prepare the church for the 21st century? The early church prayed together and broke bread from house to house. They were family, and it was said by all who observed, "Behold how they love one another." Incredible. But the same can be found right now. Go to saveus.org and click sell church. We can revive 1st century Christianity for the 21st century. It's about people, not programs. It's about a body. Not a building. That's saveus.org. Click sell church. Has the eclipse, eclipse Christ's second coming? There's nothing wrong with being fascinated by an eclipse. Human beings have been fascinated by eclipses since time began. In fact, they have all kinds of ideas and theories, even religious ideas about eclipses, lunar eclipses, solar eclipses and so on. But the Bible talks about how eclipses will announce the coming of Christ. For instance, in the book of Isaiah, chapter 13, it says this, "Behold, the day of the Lord comes, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, and he shall destroy the sinners out of it. For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light. And the sun shall be darkened in its going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine." In other words, it's talking about a lunar eclipse and a solar eclipse, or more than one of them. Maybe a level of eclipse that the world has never ever seen before or witnessed. The prophet Isaiah goes on to say, "And I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place." In the wrath of the Lord of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger, why would God be angry? Because of the wickedness and the world, it says, "I will punish the world for their evil and the wicked for their iniquity." And I will cause the abrogancy of the proud to cease. That's in the book of Isaiah, the same book that tells us, just four chapters earlier, about the birth of Christ, that came in the fullness of time. So, if we really understand the Word of God, both the Old and the New Testament tell us about these things. Now, we know from Revelation 1, verse 7, "Behold, He cometh with clouds at His Christ, and every eye shall behold or see Him." It's hard for us to understand how that can happen. But we see how things news, how we're able to see what's happening all over the world through digital technology, satellite technology, and so on. So, somehow, whether it's through that or some other, even more dramatic manifestation, we're going to see Christ coming. He's going to come in power and great glory, the Bible says. Well, that glory has to do with light. One of the things that really has always attracted me, since I was a young child, is seeing certain formations of clouds and seeing the light streaming down from those clouds. It's like streams of glory, and every time I see that, I think of the coming of the Lord. Is that how it's going to be just on steroids? In such a dramatic display, behold, He comes with clouds, behold, He comes in power and great glory. Think about that. Now, that's informational. The transformational aspect of that is, are you ready for when He comes? Because He's going to come suddenly. He's going to come suddenly. In fact, in the book of Mark, it says that after the tribulation, the sun shall be darkened and the moon shall not give her light. There again, the sun shall be darkened and the moon shall not give her light. It's talking about false Christ, signs and wonders, deception. Doesn't sound much like we're going to be out of here when that happens. The stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. Oh! And then He's going to send His angels to gather together His elect for the four winds for the uttermost part of the earth. And when you see these things come to pass, know that it is near even at the doors. What's near? The coming of Christ. When you see these things begin to happen, take heed for your redemption draws nigh. Whose redemption? Those who are ready. That's why we say on this program, frequently, people get ready. Jesus is coming, soon will be coming home. The information that we provide here and have provided for almost 29 years now, every day, Monday through Friday, is to help people get ready. Are you ready? Are you sure? You say, "Well, I was at a Billy Graham rally back there in Los Angeles in the 1950s, and I walk forward. I confess Christ is my Savior." Okay. So would anybody know that you've been walking with Christ since then? Would God know? Would He have any indication that you are called by His name? Jesus said, remember, not everyone who says unto Me, Lord, Lord, in other words, who claims to be a follower, is going to inherit the kingdom. Only those who do the will of my Father. No, you can't be saved by all the works that you do, but you have to live according to what you say that you are. And if you don't, you don't really believe. Belief is not a matter of giving intellectual assent to certain facts. And don't tell me you believe in God because the Bible says that even Satan, the devil, believes in troubles, including a demon's. In fact, they actually tremble at the Word of God, unlike most Christians today. So you see, there's a reason why the Bible tells us that these things are coming, and it's to get our attention. Now, the eclipse has gotten the attention of millions and millions of people all over the world, maybe billions. And there are going to be solar eclipses in other parts of the world, not today, next year, the year after, so on, and it's going to get their attention. But it's not going to get their attention in the sense of announcing that the Lord of glory, the Creator of the universe, is coming back to judge the earth and righteousness. And they need to be ready, and if they're not ready, it's not going to be a pleasant situation. So mark the Gospel of Mark. Jesus tells us. It's in red letters in my Bible. After the tribulation, that is, the times of trials and testings of God's people, the sun is going to be darkened, the moon shall not give her light. The stars of heaven shall fall, the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. And then we're going to see Jesus, the Son of Man, coming in the clouds with great power and glory. Then we go to the Book of Matthew. Jesus is speaking again in Matthew chapter 24. It's called the Olivet Discourse. This discourse, this is when Jesus was talking with his disciples a couple days before his crucifixion there on the Mount of Olives, and they asked him what would be the sign of his coming in this end of the age, or the end of the world. He says, "Take heed that no man deceive you." He says, "The nations are going to rise against nations. They're going to be wars and rumors of wars and famines and earthquakes in many places." But he said, "These are just the beginning of sorrows." Then comes massive persecution. That's why I've written the book. When persecution comes, I've completed the second edit of the manuscript, and shortly it will go to typeset. Beginning the final process is toward publication. Jesus warned about that. He said that many are going to be offended. It will betray one another. We'll hate one another, even in families, even in churches. We have a whole chapter of the book about that, the persecution that comes from the inside. Jesus was very explicit about this, and we're not ready. We haven't prepared our families. We're not ready. So what are you doing to be ready? There's a reason why Jesus gave us all this information. It's not just for sitting there so that we can say, "Also, also, I know that." No. What are you doing in response? Are you preparing the way of the Lord in your life, in the life of your family, in the life of your congregation? So if you want to be a participant in the persecution project that we've been announcing for $250 donation to Save America Ministries, you will be able to be a participant administering your own right, echoing the mission of getting out the warning to God's people to be prepared for coming persecution. It's already here. It's coming rapidly. And when you give that $250, when the book comes out around August, we will send you 10 copies of the book so that you then can distribute that to people that the Lord puts on your heart to give it to so that they can be prepared. If you go about doing that, well, you give us a call at 1-800-SAVEUSA, that's 1-800-SAVEUSA, or you write to us at Save America Ministries, P.O. Box 70879, Richmond, Virginia 23255. And you write on your check, Persecution Project, and we'll know exactly what your gift is for. You can go on the website, SaveUs.org, and there's a special place there where you can sign up for that persecution project. I urge you to do it. People want to know, what can I do? This is something that you can do. It's not about money. It's about enabling -- we're enabling you to be a ministry in your own right to get the message out as quickly as possible. People say, can't you get it out more quickly? No, we're doing the very quickest that we can. I hope you'll do that. Now Matthew 24, Jesus says this. Immediately after the time of testing and trials of those days, shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light. Now this is the fourth time we've heard this message, or fifth, for the Bible, Old Testament and New Testament, and the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers of the heaven shall be shaken. Then shall appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven, and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of Man, Yeshua, Jesus Christ, coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather his elect for the four winds of heaven. Are you ready? That's really the issue. Are we ready? When the trumpet of the Lord shall sound in time shall be no more, and the morning breaks eternal bright and fair, when the saints of earth are gathered over on the other shore, when the roll is called up yonder, will you be there? Has the eclipse, actually, the eclipse that haunts the preparation for Christ coming? Good question. Thanks for joining us. You might also want to get a copy of the book Messiah Unbilling the Mystery of the Ages. $18 will put the $22 book in your hands. It's on our website, saveus.org. Give us a call, 1-800-SAVE-USA. And you know what? I want to urge you to become a partner with us, in general. If you've been holding off, the Holy Spirit has spoken to you, don't delay. Become a partner. Do your part. Help us to get the message out until Jesus comes. Does that make sense? The eclipse in Christ's power. Hopefully, it hasn't been free. Prepare the way. They'll be there.
