This is not nom. This is bowling. They're a rule, today, Jr. America. It's like, for the fastest. So stand by. All right, everybody. Welcome to the stake for breakfast podcast. For your first time listener, welcome to the show. If you're a longtime listener, welcome back to America's fastest growing and quickly becoming favorite political podcast on a busy news Tuesday. Amro knows here with me. Yo, if you're listening to this episode first today, well, don't worry. We'll see in a bit. Go back and check out episode 492. It's the first of two Tuesday's editions we're publishing today. We sat down with and had a fire, mostly peaceful conversation with South Carolina Congresswoman Nancy Mase and the senior editor at large at Newsweek, Josh Hammer. We talked about the battle over Donald Trump's appointments and how that's starting to heat up in the Senate and then how the fake news media continues to go after some of the other picks, namely Matt Gaetz, Tulsi Gabbard, Pete Heggseth, and of course, Elon Musk and Vivek Ram Swami as they're looking to get doge kicked off here in just a bit. This episode, no, I don't know if you heard or not, but the boys were back in town this weekend. The boys are back in town. Well, if you're talking about the boys, I mean President Trump in the crew. And if you're talking about back in town, it was in the big Apple and NYC in the world's most famous arena. Madison Square Garden for UFC 309. Did you catch at least some of the highlights of the festivities that took place in and around the actual fights which were going on? Yeah. Man, we are making being bros great again as well. And can't say nothing about that. The Trump slap, like when he smacked Elon Musk, it's official. One of us, one of us. And you can't say enough about it. We'll also look at some polls. Believe it or not, there's polls coming out. And that's how America is feeling following the election, how America is feeling about the Trump transition. And we'll also, well, there was a massive bending of the knee. We're going to talk about it in our last new segment today. But no, I know you've probably seen it. So Joe Duchbarro and Mika Berzinski, you know how they used to love Donald Trump back in 2015. You see these videos floating around of them gushing over every time he would come on the show. Mika running her fingers through Donald Trump's hair because she wanted to confirm that it was real and where they've kind of devolved into over the course of the last eight years, right? Yeah, no one's big, been a bigger proprietor of the narrative that Donald Trump is literally Hitler, threats to democracy, the country is ending this that and the other thing. Well, apparently, and I'm not even joking here. They are so fearful that because Donald Trump won and has power from top to bottom now, and for the narrative that they've been pushing that Donald Trump is going to target and could even eliminate his political opponents, they actually believe that there's a better than average chance that come January of next year, they could be sharing tandem sales in Gitmo. Is Gitmo still open? I thought they closed it. It's still open. Oh, don't worry. Believe it or not, I don't know if you saw the Secretary of Defense walked back the injunction from the military court, which now is going to prevent the 9/11 mastermind and some of his collaborators from receiving the death penalty. At which case, I think that future Democrat administrations could use them as bargaining chips in potential deals for things like hostages and things of that nature. Yeah, but which 9/11 mastermind? Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and his friends. Oh, not George W. Bush and his friends. But sticking in the thread here. So Joe and Mika are so scared for their personal safety. They actually reached out to the Trump transition team and said we would like a face-to-face meeting and a sit down with Donald Trump. So again, do something different. This is another case of literally the people who said that we are about to start the fourth Reich in January, flying down to Florida and having a face-to-face meeting with literally Hitler, Donald Trump, in an attempt to try and smooth things out moving forward. This comes again at a time where ratings on MSDNC are now at all-time lows and the entire apparatus, which is that corporation in regards to the news, is floating on whether they're buying or selling or folding. Who knows? I mean, to the left, wouldn't that be the equivalent of turning in your neighbor? Yeah, exactly. Which did happen as recently as like four years ago. We can't ever forget that either. When we're getting all hoity-toity about some of these picks that Donald Trump's making for his future administration, also some breaking news today, apparently the War Room Gang stepped in it. We haven't talked about them in a while. You know, Steve Bannon fresh out of prison and probably before he goes back in. But they let him wear multiple jumpsuits in prison. That'd be really interesting. Or maybe he cut one of the jumpsuits at the waist and wore it as like a jacket to his jumpsuit. I saw one of these viral- We thought he was trying to hang himself, but he was just like making wardrobe. Yeah, of course. It's weird. I never see people like he got fatter in prison too, which is kind of weird to me. And people usually don't like the chow when they're in the big house, but that's neither here nor there. I would think about him the most when I would see these like viral videos of R. Kelly, who's in prison for life, like cleaning the tables in the mess hall, but at the same time using the acoustics of the big room to perform renditions of his former platinum hits for the guards. And just wonder about what Steve Bannon was doing at the exact same time. Maybe talking about bakui things or ramparts. Who knows? Do you think they got like care packages, like Bannon was getting food and R. Kelly was getting piss? Oh, God. That's my Robert, always peeing on people. But the thing is, you know, over the course of the last week or so, the War Room posse and everything connected to the larger apparatus has inaccurately or preemptively called Trump administration picks preemptively, and before they're even confirmed or official. And what I mean by that is I think they've named Cash Patel director of the FBI. Nobody wants it more than us here at the show, but they've officially announced it. I think three times already and had to walk about it. They've been wrong about anybody yet. Like even though they're, you know, not supposed to be releasing this info. Let's just go back to getting it from good, good intelligence. Let's just go back to there there. Steve Bannon was fired for leaking. Okay, that's why he was fired from the White House after the midterm elections. That and the addition or that and the results of the midterm elections back in 2018 were an absolute disaster. And he took some of the blame for that as a top White House advisor. I literally think in an attempt to troll there are people on the White House team who, you know, might not have any bones to pick with Steve Bannon, but don't like some of his counterparts. Those in the drifting community, whether it's for online publications or the selling constantly of books of things we already know everything about are purposely leaking stuff to people close to him so he can report it on a show and then like look like a complete asset. That's just my opinion. But that's kind of the way it's looking. I received a couple funny texts from people who might be in and around the orbit down at Mar-a-Lago who thought it was funny to watch him much to the chagrin of people like Cash Patel because I've had asked him literally three times out of the reports that I'm hearing in the press confirm to where I get text message back. Nope. With a period or a thumbs down. Nope. And you know, this is kind of where we're at, but we're going to start off with, you know, the boys were back in town. The boys were back in NYC. And yeah, it was a it was a festive event to say the least. Mike Johnson looked like he was living his best life. Kind of a little tight ass to start things off of by the time they got onto Trump Force one at the end of the night. Everybody was crushing big Macs and quarter pounders with cheese and 10 piece chicken nuggies. Oh, here's another thing. I don't know if they saw it. There was that picture of Trump Force one of like, you know, Trump, Musk, Don Jr. and RFK Jr. all eating their McDonald's. Mike Johnson's off to the right and behind him. Elon Musk is a put catch up on his fries, guys. Not a dipper. Like not like a pile next to the fries. It was like on the fries. All over the fries. Huh? Hmm. I think you're probably using a fork to them. There's one of his fingers dirty. Everybody had the wrapped gold fork and knife in the napkins because they were on Trump Force one. But yeah, and the meal that Donald Trump eats all the time was the meal that was reported that he eats all the time on steak for breakfast, a flail fish with cheese, a big Mac salt extra French fries extra salt. And he was kind of fanta out of the bottle instead of a DC. Kind of interesting to see that. But Antonio Brown pointed that out and you know, consequently named him for that instance, and word of the day for like the 11 D billionth time. But you know, that's just kind of where we're at with our politics right now. But let's jump into this again. Donald Trump's reception at MSG for UFC event was one that you would have thought he was walking out on the campaign trail two weeks and a few days ago at a rally. The crowd was absolutely on their feet. Everyone and anyone from New York mayor Eric Adams to no, there was this one video going around. I shared it on our social media. You got to go back and see it. So Donald Trump, they're playing YMCA on loudspeaker, right? Donald Trump's doing the dance. And there's people like in between Donald Trump and, you know, others who are sitting along the ringside. Triple H comes up. Weaves his way through the Secret Service. Donald Trump is literally dancing stops, shakes his hand, gives him like the Trump hug over his back. Triple H like disengages from the handshake and Trump goes right back to dancing like didn't miss a step. They just, they just looked like they were having the best time ever. RFK Jr. Tulsi. I already mentioned Mike Johnson. A lot of people connected to the transition team. All the surrogates around President Trump that did such a wonderful job and deserved to go back and enjoy that time of a little bit of decompressing and relaxation in the big apple was, you know, you can't even say enough for the job that they all did two weeks ago and to be able to kick back, relax, and share in that moment with the spectators again. I don't hide my sports team affiliations here. I am a Yankees fan. Austin Wells, Anthony Volpe, Clark Schmidt on their Instagrams, my president, and took and put up on their Instagrams pictures of Donald Trump dancing from where they could see him at their vantage point in Madison Square Garden as well. So pretty awesome to see. I mean, everybody knows that Nestor Cortez, who's the starting picture for the Yankees is 100% maga. He was in the front row at the high LA rally earlier or at the back end of 2023 with his maga hat on while the Yankees were in spring training. But let's hear how they kind of push it out on the news yesterday. A triumphant return to New York City's Madison Square Garden for the President Elect Trump. Here is the reception from the crowd at Saturday nights UFC bout. Ladies and gentlemen, look who is now making this way to the world famous off to God, flagged by UFC CEO, Dana White, 45, soon to be 47, President's collect Donald Trump. Hey, Mr. People, come home pretty here, the sound in this room is so loud here. It is so loud. It's always loud when he comes here, but now that he's won, now that he's the president again. Oh my God. And again, embracing with ringside commentator podcast host, obviously one in a million Joe Rogan. You know, we have, I've got a couple clips from him in our next news segment talking about how his relationship with Donald Trump has changed over the course of the last couple weeks and how he really feels some of the biggest failures, which came from the Democrats leading up to the election two weeks ago, how big of a magnitude that was and what some of the reasons were for that. But again, Eric and Don Jr, Kid Rock, the Vek Rama Swami, anyone who is anyone within the MAGA apparatus was with Donald Trump at MSG on Saturday. And you know, one of the moments that has really started to stick out. No, obviously you saw the highlights from when John Jones finished his title fight there, right? Yeah. Ending with a spinning heel kick and a quick one, two combination. John Jones is a great fighter, not the best fighter in the UFC, but you know, has a tough road ahead of him with some of the potential challengers that are going to be coming down the pike. But seemed pretty fresh, not really phased in any way, shape or form, kind of pulled with doing a little bit more work. Tactical Mike Tyson. No, what did you think of that? That fight happened just the night before. The Mike Tyson and Jake Paul, that it was poorly choreographed and it was sad to watch Iron Mike bite his glove in lieu of punching that mop its head off. He almost knocked him out in like the first 20 seconds of the fight. Well, and every patented just literal muscle memory move that Iron Mike has, you watched him pull it in when when people are clipping these and playing them in slow motion, like with the fights. Yeah, you see him like tapping Jake Paul's glove and Jake Paul, like looking terrified while he's doing it, like the my favorite one is like when Jake thought Tyson was about to go off script. Like, I mean, you're fighting a bear at this point, like I would murder that guy and for real. I mean, like one of those combos that he did, like if he would have followed through after he wrung his bell that that in the first grant that he wouldn't have gotten paid. But I think he probably would have done better financially had he just like here's the agreement. We're going to we're going to pay you this much. You have to go all eight rounds. Oh, yeah, I'll do that. And then just beat the fucking tar out of the guy and then be like, yeah, I'll make more than 20 grand on everything now. Yeah, no, you make a great point. I mean, they showed so many of those videos like you were talking about on social media of where Jake Paul would punch over Mike Tyson's head and what that looked like for almost every single person that he's ever gone against previously and in his prime. I mean, there was one where they showed like the guy punched over Tyson's head and he uppercutted him so hard the guy fell out of the ring. Yeah, and he went to the ropes. Yeah. And to think that that I mean, you watched all these videos and what they're saying is Mike Tyson had reached like a pinnacle of training, but then he had the issue with the blood transfusions and how sick he had gotten. He hadn't been able on the road recovery to make it back to where he was, you know, 10 months ago. I don't believe it. I mean, we saw it like you said, Jake Paul would just leave himself open and Mike Tyson would be sitting there like eating on a stump instead of just absolutely landing combos, which would have ended the fight in a quicker fashion. And then to have Jake Paul be able to go on the back end and say, yeah, I just didn't want to like, you know, abuse an old man like, no, no, he had probably a half a dozen sparring partners quit over the course of the last year for the beating that he would have given you kind of sad. But again, it's like one of those things where I grew up on something and having the opportunity at my age and to be able to share that with my kids is something that, you know, generations in the past, I didn't get you had your heroes, your heroes were gone, and you would never see them again. Now they just throw them back out there regardless of their age and performance level. And at least in some context, you don't have to tell it and like, let's just say a black and white flashback. They actually get to see it with their own eyes. Yeah, but it also cheapens it too though. It's like seeing one of these bands that come back around like, you're going to tell me that you're going to go see Aerosmith and you're going to be happy about it now. Like, ah, that was worth it. I saw Aerosmith as a teenager at the Garden State Art Center. I don't even think it's around. And I'm sure it was amazing. And when they did the song from Armageddon, the entire stage was like, they made it look like the moon. And there was like all this shit flying around and they had like the rope. It was crazy. Plus, they used like the backdrop of the screen to like put parts of the movie into it and stuff crazy. But no, I know exactly what you're talking about now. You know, the lead singer of Aerosmith looks like an age lesbian who just goes out and complains about everything. So yeah, and he's talking about hot dogs baking on a frying pan or something. Yeah. Yeah, interesting. Much like was the commentary coming from champion John Jones following his fight at UFC 39. Let's hear it. Sure. I also want to say a big, big, thank you to President Donald Trump for being here tonight. Hey, what do you got to think about my version of the Donald Trump? Check it out. USA. USA. Let's go. I'm proud to be a great American champion. I'm proud to be a Christian American champion. And he would actually go on to thank Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and continue to promote winning with Donald Trump. With it's okay to admit that you love God and be Christian. It was just a wholesome moment. He would then jump out of the octagon and present Donald Trump with his championship belt. Donald Trump kind of posed with it. He was obviously very flattered. A lot of people shared the picture on social media of Donald Trump doing an actual smile. It's something we don't see that often. You know, he's more of a smoker and he's usually controlling the joke. So he's the one that kind of lasted his own thing. But he felt there were some feelings in that moment where you saw a real smile on President Trump. You've only seen it a couple of times throughout the course of the duration since he's entered the political arena. And when Donald Trump tried to give the belt back, John Jones was like, "No, keep it. Daniel, make me a new one." So again, massive winning and being back. This comes on like following an afternoon of just watching college football and wondering which team wasn't going to be performing the Trump dance ahead of Sunday when we would see it throughout the course of several games and with half a dozen teams in the NFL. But leave it to a fake new CNN during their Sunday morning new circuit to try and not only delegitimize but demonize what was a very positive event for the president and his illustrious return to MSD. Let's hear it. Okay. He's flut the zone with these picks and force Republicans to choose. And I think it's interesting to me that he brought Tulsi Gabbard and RK Jr. to the UFC event last night. He is frankly giving, I think, supporter-based permission structure. And he's made these folks stars over the course of this campaign. I mean, in some ways, it's easy to view this, I think, through a different lens. Like, this is also just a person who won following through on campaign promises. He promised retribution. He promised vengeance. And he promised these kind of figures having prominent places in this administration. And he's delivering it. And for a lot of those supporters, that is the point of the Trump vote. And so I don't think that's the fullness of the electorate we saw on Tuesday. I think there are, for a lot of people, they back Trump probably as a rejection of the administration and weren't thinking of this as an endorsement of every single thing he's talked about. But for the hardcore base, the folks he listens to the most, they voted for Trump for the purposes of RK Jr. riling the big pharma. And so what they're going to force those Republican senators to do is make a choice on those calls. And they will be doing so with the backing of the electorate. I don't think we could just say that they won't get through. I won't believe it when I see it. Yeah, I mean, and it really looks like ancient Rome here. This is sort of the conquering Republican Caesar who's going into the Colosseum and everyone's cheering. And he's got his political gladiators with him. That that appearance isn't just about him enjoying the applause. He's sending a message to the Senate. For sure. Like, not only are you entertained, but these are my people and are you willing to fight? Because here's who I have. Are you gonna waste an opportunity to fuck up my mind? I feel like for anybody who has been covering Trump's campaign or his movement the past few years, these picks, sure, they're raising eyebrows, to say the least. But I feel your care. Yes, exactly. They've been with him at all these rallies. They've played a key role in where he's at. Hmm. What do you think, Noah? Sounds like they're the coping and seeing. Here's the thing. All they do now. And instead of the Democrats being like the Lucy goosey, like the cool, the hip, you know, the Bill Clinton's, the Barack Obama's, you know, even when it comes down to like muscle beach out in Malibu, the Michelle Obama's, the big mics of the world, you know, they always seem to be hip. They always seem to be cool. They were down with the Hollywood stars with the music stars. They were tuned into everything. And then you had the Republicans, Taylor suit wearing, tight ass, hair parted, wearing glasses, talking about fiscal conservatism and really tackling issues like the immigration system. And now, and now, are you not entertained? We have had every single cool person in politics, both from the Democrat side, some independents and Republicans who were finally, you know, coming out of their shell for the first time, like Mike Johnson, he probably had one of the top 10 best nights of his life on Saturday. You know, we're the cool guys now. And we don't have to worry about people like having to actually produce a spine because we're in control of everything. Whether it's legitimately or physically with how we have the power structure in Washington, DC, right now, to continue to stay ahead of the air. Going to an event like this and having the whole thing put out on social media from start to finish, you know, Donald Trump and RFK Jr. watching the screen on Trump Force One heading to New York the way he comes out to the crowd going wild, how every single person in the building from the New York mayor to WWE stars to people in the sports world want to come shake his hand. What John Jones did talking to President Trump and giving him the belt after and then the whole McDonald's spiel on the way home. That is not something that normal politicians do. And Donald Trump is trying to remind America that it's only been two weeks. Don't forget how we got to this point. It's because we were all in this together and we're all the same. You know, we all have to fix all of the problems in this country as one. It's not just going to take me going back to the White House. We learned what that looked like during his last administration. And we saw what it looked like when he was kind of put out, you know, into on an island with all the law fair that was waged against him sooner after he left office. And we are so we have never been this back before, I have to say, and moving forward, you just have to look at when he said like you're going to get sick of winning so much. You're going to say, President Trump, please stop winning so much. I can't take it anymore. He's going to say, Nope, fuck that pedal to the floor. We're going to keep on winning. And we're just at the starting gate right now still following the election. So, you know, it was really good to see that how great that went off, how it kind of. And again, the Trump dance. I really think the ripple effect of that is stemmed out into professional sports all the way up through last night with the team USA victory and the captain bus in the Trump is how well we received Donald Trump is when he goes out into the public for events like this. It's making people say like, you know, okay, I saw the election. He won. It looks like he beat her by a lot of electoral votes. Like, I heard Republicans haven't won the popular vote in like 20 years, but what does that really mean? It means I'm watching it on TV when he walks out to UFC to the kid rock song and everybody's going absolutely bananas over it. That's what it means. It means it's okay to be wanting to get this country to be great again. And I think that Donald Trump is going to continue with all the work that still lies ahead of him to, you know, really be able to continue to harness that narrative. He compounded the press so much time. And if you look at it in reality, they've simply been reduced to only covering them and providing back in commentary. They're not leading in with all of these big fake scandals, witch hunts, and hoaxes anymore. So no, we made a pick yesterday for FCC chair and it's someone that Donald Trump nominated back in 2017 to work with the FCC. He's been a senior administrator there throughout Joe Biden's presidency and now he's being elevated to the chairman of the organization. This is someone who in recent days had pointed out that Kamala Harris unfairly was forgiven time on Saturday Night Live at the end of the election to be participating in skits when Donald Trump wasn't afforded the same liability. Therefore, he was allowed to put a 90 second commercial into the Sunday Night football game the day after. He also wanted the transcripts released of Kamala Harris's interview with CBS where they took answers to questions that she didn't give and totally put them. Yeah, they literally just took portions of the meaningless diatribe that she was giving and then well, that sort of sounds like that's an answer to that question accidentally. Let's just use that. He also chaired a committee which investigated, you know, the $42 billion rural internet that's been given to nobody. Yeah, he wants to know where all that money went, where the contract's sitting and why hasn't anything been done about it. And when you look at someone who has stood side-in-side with Donald Trump, but it's not just because he's a supporter or a loyalist of him, it's because Donald Trump doesn't get fair treatment. We're not even talking about the fact that Donald Trump averages like 90-10 negative to positive coverage in all the major outlets and totality outside of Fox News, you know, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN and all that stuff. So, you know, it's one of those things where I think this is a really good pick. I think moving forward, it's going to help bring a lot of transparency to the American public on how the FCC works. And when you're looking about hearing a little bit of commentary on Brendan Carr and what he brings to the table, let's listen to this. Well, yeah, I think also with his promotion of Brandon Carr to the chair of the FCC, he's already a commissioner and he was appointed during Trump's first term. But having him be chair also is going to allow him to make sure that we do not see the censorship we saw coming from the big tech during the COVID years and afterwards. I mean, he's very much for free speech, he's very much for the marketplace. And I think he's a great choice to lead the FCC to get the government out of the censorship business that we've seen them engaging in under the radical. Again, probably have a whole lot more negative press on what Elon Musk is doing with X, with Brandon Carr, chair in the FCC as well. You know, one of the big takeaways I had from our interview with Josh Hammer to end our first edition of the podcast today, as we broke down a lot of the cabinet picks, which ones he felt, you know, were most consequential so far, which ones he thought, the vacancies, which potentially could be filled at any moment's notices we're keeping track of it here on the show today. But he really is looking forward to seeing former Arkansas governor and presidential candidate, great friend to President Trump, Mike Huckabee be the US ambassador to Israel. Now again, I think that in addition to areawide peace in the Middle East, it is going to be one of the top issues for Donald Trump, the expansion of the Abraham Accords, the inclusion of countries like Saudi Arabia, over the course of the next four years, I think that Donald Trump is going to figure out a solution for what's going on with the Israelis and the Palestinians. And that's going to be obviously one of the centerpieces there. Now you bring in someone like Governor Huckabee to be the ambassador there. And it just adds a whole nother layer of this is probably going to happen as you can't talk about a man with with a resume as robust as him with the way that he's interacted as a politician, much in the same way as Donald Trump, a little bit more of a Christian spin on it and moving forward what it means overall for the agenda that Donald Trump wants to see happen in the Middle East, starting on day one. So January 20 to 2025, he jumped on with Maria Bartiromo yesterday, and pulled a clip for it. Let's hear it. President Trump did something historic in his first term with the Abraham Accords. It was truly remarkable. But there's a lot to be done to expand the Abraham Accords to bring more of the Arab nations into that pact. So that's going to be one of the major goals. But also to make sure that there is a clear understanding that Israel has a right to protect itself, preserve itself, defend itself against those who are seeking not just to attack it, but to annihilate it. We all saw what happened on October 7. Israel needs a friend, a consistent friend. The United States has historically been that friend, but no president never has been as much of a friend to the people of Israel and to the Jewish population there as has Donald Trump. By moving the embassy to Jerusalem, recognizing the Golan Heights, recognizing Jerusalem as the eternal capital of the Jewish state, there are so many ways in which President Trump has already proven himself to be a loyal and faithful ally. And I think it's to continue the policies that the president has put in place and will keep in place. So no, what do you think? I mean, I'm a big, I'm very bullish on Donald Trump being able to achieve Middle East peace. And that starts off with the Israelis, but definitely ends with a lot of people who I mean, we're going back to biblical times that these factions have been at ends with each other. But we saw a lot of inroads made as he mentioned with the Abraham Accords during the course of Donald Trump's first term in office. What do you think? Well, I think that any chance of maintaining peace right now is going to be directly bearing on what happens with Russia and Ukraine, because it's going to if if this shit goes badly, it's going to drive the entire world into chaos. Yeah, I completely agree with you. We do have another, there's been another selection in the 2024 presidential transition team draft. I don't know what number we're at right now, but someone who created a little bit of buzz because he was seen at Mar-a-Lago over the weekend. That's former show host and Pennsylvania senatorial candidate, Dr. Mehmet Oz, has been attacked. Yeah, has been tapped by Donald Trump to serve as the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Administrator. So now you have someone who's going to be going into the orbit of RFK Jr., working directly with him. I'm sure they have a longstanding previous relationship going. And when you're talking about these agencies being put on notice as people who are really close to the president, Dr. Oz is very close with Donald and Melania Trump. And I think it's just an absolutely fantastic addition to an already growing cabinet. We can take a look at where the team stands as of today. I got my little graphic pulled up. It's like the house of cards. But with all of our favorites, instead of cable news baddies, Pete Headsex, Secretary of Defense, Christie Gnome, DHS Secretary, Mike Huckabee is going to be the ambassador to Israel. Will McGinty is going to be White House counsel, John Ratcliffe, CIA Director, Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy are going to head up the Department of Government Efficiency or Doge. Tulsi Gabbard for DNI, RFK Jr., is going to run HHS. Brandon Carr, FCC Chair, as we announced during this new segment, Doug Burgum is going to be the Secretary of the Interior who's going to be also sitting on a council that looks at getting back to American energy dominance. Doug Collins, Secretary of Veterans Affairs, some of the White House staff, Dan Scavino is going to be the Deputy Chief of Staff there under Susie Wiles, who's going to be the Chief of Staff. Florida Congressman Mike Wallace is going to be the National Security Advisor, Lee Zeldin, EPA Administrator, Stephen Miller, Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy with an emphasis on immigration. Speaking of which, Tom Holman is going to be the borders are. Caroline Levitt was topped last week to be the incoming press secretary. Stephen Chong, Communications Director, Taylor Budewich, Deputy Chief of Staff, James Blair, Deputy Chief of Staff, John Sauer for Solicitor General, Matt Gates, A.G., Marco Rubio, Secretary of State, and of course, the Ambassador to the UN is going to be Elise Stefanik. So as the administration continues to take shape, we'll bring you up to date on all the picks as they come in. And before we jump in with South Carolina, Congressman Ralph Norman, we do need to address this. So Donald Trump put out this morning on his official true social account. The Democrats are trying to stack the courts with radical left judges on their way out the door. Republican senators need to show up and hold the line. No more judges confirmed before inauguration day. Three exclamation points. Seems pretty basic, right? Yeah. So then, apparently, some members of the War Room apparatus decided to cast a little bit of the blame on Ohio Senator and Vice President-elect J.D. Vance. And I'm going to have a tough time reading this without laughing. And here it comes. This comes from the account of Grace Chong, who's like the top coffee getter over at the War Room show. You guys better show up and do one frickin' job at J.D. Vance, at Marco Rubio, and the rest of you Senate Republicans that didn't bother to show up yesterday. And she had, quote, tweeted a post on X that said, "Shoomer announced another Senate late night is ahead this week. Members should be prepared for another late night on Wednesday to vote on the nominations I filed on the night before. Republicans forced over five hours of votes on Monday to delay Schumer from filing closure on President Biden's judicial nominees." Well, I opened up true souls a little to see if Donald Trump had put out anything today. And this is what I saw on J.D. Vance's account there. No, are you ready? Yeah. Grace Chong is a mouth breathing imbecile who attacks those of us in the fight rather than make herself useful. If I had shown up to vote, in question, the nominee would have succeeded 49-46 rather than 49-45. If every Republican had showed up, Federman would have come in, and the Democrats would still have gotten the nominee across the finish line. When this 11th Circuit vote happened, I was meeting with President Trump to interview multiple positions for our government, including director of the FBI. I tend to think it's more important to get an FBI director who will dismantle the deep state than it is for Republicans to lose a vote 49-46 rather than 49-45. But hey, that's just me. We'll leave it at that as we're getting ready to jump in with South Carolina Congressman Ralph Norman, but before we do, how about another check-in with one of our partners? He's the congressman who represents South Carolina's fifth congressional district, and we're always glad to catch up with Representative Ralph Norman. Welcome back to the show. Well, great to be with you, Ronald. Always a pleasure to host, and listen, before we talk and get into it, we have to pick up where we left off, and that was you saying that you see us on the other side of the election. Two weeks ago today, we had a very historic one here in the United States. Not only did Donald Trump will his way across the country and back to the White House, picking up the popular vote win as well. House Republicans were able to retain, and hopefully, you know, albeit by a cedar too, extend that majority, and we flipped the Senate into Republican control. We have now won the trifecta and the big three with the Supreme Court, looking pretty conservative as well. And Congressman, for someone who this wasn't your first rodeo, we want to get a little back in commentary. How you saw this race shake out? What does it mean for the American people to have such a mandate for Republicans right now in such a time for our country and what it's like getting back to work? A couple of things. You know, what this election showed is we the people took the country back. If I had to use one word to describe it as freedom, if Kamala Harris had won this race, we would have been in total Marxist socialism, whatever you want to call it. And, you know, it's rare that we've had a candidate that unprepared and that totally against the American people as her views showed that she was, she and Tim Woffs. No, I'm so excited because we got so much opportunity, but I remind people we've just had an election. We've got to do something with it. It's like making it to the big show, to the big dance, and you got to reduce now. But I think we will. What President Trump showed is American people want to get back to normal. They want to get back to law and order. They want to get back to low gas prices, low food prices. They want to get back to a supply chain that's not totally disrupted at every end. We've got so much opportunity. And I will tell you, in Washington, D.C., and really in the district, people are euphoric. They're so excited. They knew something was wrong for the last four years. And they corrected it at the ballot box, and that's how it should be. And what do you say for that correction, that referendum? You know, it's very non-frequent that we would see such a big pushback against. For years, Republicans have gone out there and talked about this country's not on the right track. This country is going over a cliff. This country is entering territory that it's just not going to be able to get back for them unless we course correct. And then just top to bottom, see so many different Americans. I mean, Donald Trump moved the needle on just about every demographic and cross tabs. He made inroads at states and cities that Republicans hadn't seen any major movement in. In some instances, in decades, if not hundreds of years. And when you look at the overall totality of the severity of what the Democrats had done to this country over the course of the last four congressmen, and the way that you guys kind of presented the package to the American people, I mean, you guys definitely sold it. But, you know, when you talk about a little bit of fear that this country might have, that if we can't do something with it now, it's going to be too late. Well, it would have been too late. And what happened on November 5th, the American people said, "No, you're not going to spend our tax money giving free education." The American people said, "No, we're not letting you open up our borders and having criminals in this country that are taking a toll in the lives of innocent Americans." They said, "No to a woke military." They said, "No to drilling given our money to foreign countries that are working against us." So, the Democrats did it to themselves, and they still don't get it. I mean, I've listened to the shows like probably you have in the talk show host and the politicians. It's not misogyny. It's not a black and white issue. It's not racism. American people are Americans. We all are Americans that want to see this country back on track. We are a great country because of its people. They exercise their right to vote, and they threw out the liberal values that Joe Biden tried to force the force on us. So, we've got such an opportunity, both on the tax policy front, both on the fact that our military, once again, will be strong under Donald Trump. And the great thing about Donald Trump, everything he's promised, he delivered when he was in office from 16 to 2020. And he'll deliver this time. That's a great point. And as you guys have reconvened now and are working ahead of the end of this session of Congress, I'm looking forward to the 119th. Was it a little bit of a relief to not have to worry about a big speakership battle that leadership is probably going to remain the same? Obviously, Chairwoman Stefanik is going to be taken out and heading over to be the ambassador of the UN. We see Congresswoman Acclaim jumping in there. But I mean, when it talked about Speaker Johnson being able to maybe be the most conservative speaker in the history of the country as he was proprieted when he first picked up the gavel in the middle of last session and the ability that you guys have the majority, not just in the lower but the upper chamber to produce that legislation and send it up there so he can get to President Trump's desk as fast as possible in the 119th. Is it a whole lot of relief feeling that Republicans are going to have to go through historically what might have been kind of a nasty speakership battle? Yes, relief. And it's also, you know, people want to see progress. They don't want to see fighting in Congress like we've had. Now, the fights we had, particularly with McCarthy, were the right fights to pick because I think it was not, he was not the right speaker at the time. Mike has got President Trump to back him up. He will absolutely help. We will all help President Trump deliver on his initiatives. And Mike's a good man. But we've got to get this financial house in order. We've got to start saying no to the spending. The 37th tree and cannot keep going. I think Speaker Johnson understands that. I think President Trump understands. No, I think they certainly do. And then when you look at President Trump and how he's forming his cabinet, looking to appoint a lot of agency heads as well, how do you see this all coming together? I mean, there are going to be a few departing members of Congress. I already mentioned Chairwoman Stefano. You guys are going to be losing Representative Walsh from Florida. Obviously, Congressman Gates has been a tab to be the Attorney General of the United States. So, what do you think about some of these picks so far? And what does it mean for the real kind of change that you guys campaigned on throughout the course of the last election cycle? Well, two things. The Democrats are going to fight against every single one of them. They're going to nitpick and try to degrade every person he puts up to fill the slots. We expect that. It's sad, but that's the truth. Secondly, he's putting qualified people who have been there and done it. You know, Mike Walsh is a military, not only is he a veteran, but he's been a commentator. He knows the landscape with the military. Matt Gates will do a tremendous job. Now, they're trying to pull up all kinds of things on him to say he's not qualified. Matt's one of the brightest legal minds that I've ever seen. He's been like Trump. The DOJ has mistreated him and he will dismantle the, and take out the corruption of the DOJ. Every pick, heck staff, commentator on the news will do a great job. And they're trying to pick things out, but you know, the American people see through this. Where was the media when all the LLCs, a hunter-bide that set up where he shifted money that came from China? Where was the media when they obviously knew they had a guy in the White House in Joe Biden who was not cognitively there? He showed it yesterday, ambling off after a talk into the rainforest. You know, where was the media with so many of these, the things that it took hearings to bring it out? They didn't volunteer any of this thing, any of these things. So, I think Trump is going to charge ahead. He is not going to be stopped and neither are we. We're going to win this for the American people. That's the mandate we've been given. And it is an exciting time to be in Congress. No, that's an excellent point. And then when you talk about that mandate, a big part of it, in addition to, you know, reducing the spending and getting the economy back on track, is everything related to border security. Now, although South Dakota Governor Christy Gnome is going to be heading the Department of Homeland Security, and there's a lot of things going on there that need referendum and change, you're going to have Tom Holman, the former acting ICE director, who's going to be appointed and actually be a boarder czar for Donald Trump's administration talk about how tough of a task he has at hand, but probably in the same breath, how you couldn't find someone more qualified to get the task taken on, you know, in a way that only Tom Holman could do it. Tom Holman knows the problems, the issues we're facing. He spoke to our conservative opportunists where he basically teared up when he went through a trailer where over 80 to 100 children were dead from the heat that they were locked in this, in this tractor trailer. He knows that he's tough, he is not going to be stopped, and when they've already started on him and comparing it to, and I heard a show last night, they were talking about people that had been in this country legally, and Tom Holman's going to come deport them out. Look, he's going to get the criminals first, and if you came in illegally in this country, he's going to get you out, and in the Senate's, he will do that. The other great thing that America will feel the fruits of is having Elon Musk and Vivette Renswamy rooting out the overspending, what two better people than I, a Pennsylvania bureaucrat, that have been retread. They're people who have been successful in the business arena, and I'm excited. This will set a tone, a new tone for Washington DC, really, as well as the whole country, because the cancer that's going to take us under if we don't control it is overspending, and we can't let that happen. No, we certainly can, and just sticking in a threat of immigration for just a second, Congressman, I know you've put out some commentary, someone that has tracked very heavily what's going on with the the Lake and Riley trial right now, and you want just one example of hundreds, if not thousands, if not more, of instances like that, where Americans who in a 100% preventable instance could still be here today, if Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and all 100 Americans didn't open up the floodgates and open up the borders and ship these people all over the country and keep them in five star hotels, and then when they screw up in whatever city, they originally wanted to go to put them on a plane on the taxpayer's dime and ship them to another state, you know, where they can commit crimes again, and just watching this kind of unfold, some of the horrific things we've heard, but also the receipts that have been produced of just how the government really was not working for the American people under the course of the last four years, under this administration. What does it say for that system? And on day one, outside of, you know, beginning the deportations and stuff like that, securing the U.S. Southern border, but then House Republicans is starting in Congress really starting to take a hard look at this immigrant. I mean, there were so many things in HR too that that can be implemented on day one that could start to rectify these problems. I know Tom Tiffany, who was on the show last week, he wrote a lot of the reworking of the abuse of parole under the course of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris that we really need to start addressing in those first 100 days for the American people. I get asked the question all the time, why did they do this? Why did they intentionally let 15 million and plus come into this country? Over 160 countries, criminals included, not one piece of vetting, that's never happened in America. Why? Well, the Democrats thought they had a voting block. They weren't brought over here to teach Bible. They were brought over here to create a voting block for the Democrats, keep them in power. I resent that. And I don't know how many funerals that we have to go to, particularly the drug related funerals. And as one of the ice agents said, there are no morgues. I mean, there are no treatment centers in morgues. And this administration, the blood's on their hands. And I resent the fact that they did this in this country. We've never had this. And Donald Trump is a man to fix it. Tom Holman is a man to fix it. Matt Gaetz is the one to root root into corruption. And the list goes on and on. And you notice Donald Trump is going to be on offense. And the Democrats, I don't care what they do, they're not going to be successful because America is not buying the product that they sell, which is socialism. No, if anybody in the upper chamber is starting to have inhibitions on who they're going to confirm to Donald Trump's cabinet, all they have to do is open up an internet browser and go look at those numbers, which came in just two weeks ago, historic vote in so many different ways across this country, especially what we have been faced with over the course of the end of this election cycle, Congressman, you make an excellent point there. And just want to kind of revisit the whole idea or concept of the Doge Agency, the Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, headed one that's going to be coming in. Not a government entity due to the business things that Elon Musk has going on, but third party that's going to be getting able to work hands on with all components of the government and really looking to trim the fat. As you being one of the, you know, Congress people up there over the course of the last several years that have just been pointing out how much waste is going on and how much we should be able to trim off just so we can start cutting into that annual deficit and overall national debt. It's got to be exciting to see someone, you know, like Vivek and Elon who have done this with their own businesses. Donald Trump took models that he used with his own businesses, tried to apply him to the government, looking to do it again to get that economy going, but could really start to root out some of the things that historically it might have been impossible to even talk about, you know, God forbid saying that we're going to be able to get them out of the government in regard to spending anyways. Well, the great thing too is the American people can have confidence in the product that they produce. One, there's no financial reward for them to do this. They're volunteering this. Secondly, they're going to make it public. Donald Trump has said on the 250th birthday, they're going to publicize what they find on the waste and the inefficiency. Now, we just saw where the DoD failed to know the audit for seven years in a row to the tune of $3.2 trillion. You can't do that. And that's what you've got to stop that. The American people deserve better than this. But now it's going to be some fights because for every dollar that's spending DC, you've got an advocate for it. But priorities are going to have to be in order because every business, every American family, that goes through this where they prioritize the money, it's just not, you can't keep printing the money to do what should not be done. I'll never forget looking at some of the items that's spent in the military about, you know, transgender sex change operations about DEI sessions. The thing, the dollars that go to building walls in Libya and other countries, that's just, that's what's going to be public. And then we the people are going to get behind, I think, when this comes forward, we the people get behind it. And we are there any politician to vote against this type to cutting this type of excess. They can't do it. I think the American people will show this strength again. No, I really do feel like this country is getting ready to take 180 degree turn. And, you know, we want to talk about people that have been fighting at the forefront of it. Congressmen, you don't have to go very far, except looking in the mirror. It was great catching up with you today, getting us all caught up on the things coming out of the election and leading up to the holidays. We'll be looking to catch up with you again soon. As always, we've got your congressional website live linked in the show description today. Where can we find you on social media? Well, I think that as well. Rep Ralph Norman.com. This is the congressman who's representing South Carolina five fighting for all the American people out there. Congressman Norman, thanks for joining us on the show. Have a great rest of your week, sir. My pleasure. Thank you, Ron. Have a happy Thanksgiving. You as well. Over the past week, Joe and I have heard from so many people, from political leaders to regular citizens, deeply dismayed by several of President elect Trump's cabinet selections. And they are scared. Last Thursday, we expressed our own concerns on this broadcast and even said we would appreciate the opportunity to speak with the President elect himself. On Friday, we were given the opportunity to do just that. Joe and I went to Marlago to meet personally with President elect Trump. It was the first time we have seen him in seven years. Now, we talked about a lot of issues, including abortion, mass deportation, threats of political retribution against political opponents and media outlets. We talked about that a good bit. And it's going to come as no surprise to anybody who watches this show, has watched it over the past year or over the past decade that we didn't see eye to eye on a lot of issues. And we told him so. What we did agree on was to restart communications. My father often spoke with world leaders with whom he and the United States profoundly disagreed. That's a task shared by reporters and commentators alike. We have not spoken to President Trump since March of 2020, other than a personal call, Joe made to Trump on the morning after the attempt on his life in Butler, Pennsylvania. In this meeting, President Trump was tearful. He was upbeat. He seemed interested in finding common ground with Democrats on some of the most divisive issues. And for those asking why we would go speak to the president elect during such fraught times, especially between us, I guess I would ask back. Why wouldn't we? Five years of political warfare has deeply divided Washington and the country. We have been as clear as we know how in expressing our deep concerns about President Trump's actions and words in the courseening of public debate. But for nearly 80 million Americans, election denialism, public trials in January 6 were not as important as the issues that moved them to send Donald Trump back to the White House with their vote. Joe and I realize it's time to do something different. And that starts with not only talking about Donald Trump, but also talking with him. All right, Jim, back into the news portion of the show here. Last new segment on the back end of two big Tuesday editions of Snake for Breakfast. I'm Roan. Noah stepped out for a moment. He may be back. He may not before the end of the show, but I can tell you one thing. It was great catching up with South Carolina Congressman Ralph Norman in touch on some of the big issues recovering here on the show. So as you can clearly hear, the knee has been bent with Joe and Mika heading down to Mar-a-Lago for an albeit brief face-to-face meeting with President Trump. And when it comes to what's going on at MSDNC right now, I guess you could say one thing is abundantly clear. Oh, no, we suck again. And depending on where they want to go with their coverage of Donald Trump moving forward, I guess, honestly, that's completely up to them. Again, we've heard that they really have some fears in regards to retribution that could be coming from the office of the Oval and directed towards political opponents when it comes to Donald Trump. But he's made several statements leading up to the election and several more following it that he would rather this country all get on the same page and move forward in a singular direction back towards American greatness. So listen, I didn't have this one on my 2024 bingo card. But when you look at the grifting nature of the media industrial complex and how bad the ratings are at MSDNC right now, again, viewership down nearly or over 70 percent, what can you say besides the fact that they've done it to themselves. So to fly down to Florida and have to drive over to Mar-a-Lago to be surrounded by all the people who are getting ready to make America great again and have to literally grovel in apology and kiss the ring and bend the knee, I have to say I love to see it. Some of their media counterparts on the left weren't too thrilled with this statement that they put out to kick off their show Monday morning, Sonny Hostin, one of the heifers on the view, had a little bit more of a breakdown of this and not wanting to bend the knee or kiss the ring than maybe Joe and Mika were looking to do. Let's hear her. Look, the bottom line is that America needs a free press that is willing to speak truth to power right now, more than ever. And I think that we have to be very clear-eyed when we think about the president-elect and cover the president-elect. And I don't think you need to sit down for 90 minutes at Mar-a-Lago and kiss his ring to be able to speak truth and to be able to cover a story. So maybe they're not journalists in the true sense, maybe they're saying that their opinion general, journalists. But we have to remember that Trump is the guy who ushered in the era of fake news. He is the guy who ushered in alternative facts. He is the guy who attacked three black female journalists. He's the guy that revoked Jim Acosta's press credentials for asking him a question. And so I think that this president-elect, I hate to say it, would like nothing more than to have only Fox News cover him, would like nothing more than a state-sponsored media. And I don't think he can be trusted in the way that other presidents can be trusted. This is an aberration. But the reality is he doesn't just have- Oh, scissor me timbers. What an absolute embarrassment she is. That whole show should be taken off the air. It's not even about free speech. It's just like, you know, if you tune in, expect to lose, have a couple points shaved off your IQ. I just don't understand what the goal of what's going on there. It's one of the things that we look at on almost a daily basis. And obviously we heavily scrutinize with much discretion for how biased and inflammatory and negative they've been against President Trump and everyone that's ever associated themselves with them. And you really have to understand for has just absolutely vile some parts of this campaign, which this ended two weeks ago, was including multiple attempts on Donald Trump's life, one where he was actually shot. They're not taking any days off. They're continuing to, you know, ramp up this rhetoric and in turn trying to stymie Donald Trump's agenda moving forward. My saw Scott Jennings was on CNN yesterday, you know, and this is after the video to kick off the morning Joe show on MSDNC where Joe and me could kind of laid out their trip down tomorrow. It wasn't a 90 minute meeting. Also, by the way, it was more like 20 minutes when they actually got to talking and I'm talking about showing them around and, you know, how do you like my this, that and the other thing and oh, if you met Elon Musk, like what they wanted to talk about was, please don't send us to jail once you're sworn in. And then we promised to not be as hyper critical as we have been a view in the past. But Scott Jennings, you know, again, he puts a lot of things in a lighter sense, much like we do here on the show. And what else could you say besides? It just seems like it's so funny that now that Donald Trump has won the election, the Republicans have retained the House and flipped the Senate. They also have a pretty better than average majority on the Supreme Court now that the wanting FaceTime with Hitler seems to be at all time highs. He was saying just as much, let's take it out. Amazing. I did not expect Hitler to get so many meeting requests first from Joe Biden, now from Mika and Joe. It's amazing that literal Hitler is getting all these meeting requests. And what it tells me, Professor, is that all the rhetoric that came from the left, from the Democrats, from the White House, from Kamala Harris and everyone else before the election, all of the rhetoric, the fascism, the Hitler, the Nazi rally at him, it was all a bunch of BS. They didn't mean any of it. And if I were, and if I were in the Democrat sort of rabbles shoes, I would be looking at all my leaders and going, "Did you just BS me for an entire six weeks before the election?" And they all started melting down. They were literally clutching pearls and there was one guy with his mouth open, like, "Oh, oh, oh, I can't believe you're saying this." Listen, Joe Biden, who literally was at the forefront of starting all of this bullshit with fascism and totalitarianism and overthrowing the government and end of democracy bullshit with a big shitting grin and a big fat handshake and with a five alarm fire behind him, welcomed Donald Trump back to the White House just a few days ago. Okay, again, Nancy Pelosi, who went around for four years saying that Donald Trump will never step foot inside of the White House ever again, is in absolute shambles following her failure after failure after failure regarding everything with this last election cycle. And when Democrats go, like we kicked off our first edition of the podcast today and look in the mirror and say, "What leaders do I have to look up to?" And you see the fails of Schumer, of Obama, of the Clintons, of Pelosi, of Jeffries, and every single speaker box they've got in the media, they literally have no one. Outside of the radical progressives, they have sprinkled across the country as governors and states where they're still pushing illegals over American citizens, pronouns and transgenderism over science, and all of the things that people voted resoundingly against two Tuesdays ago. So just keep that in mind and we'll keep you up to date on the latest there. So I put a couple of clips from Joe Rogan and some of the podcasts that he's done over the course of the last couple of days. One was following the UFC event and that's how he's kind of changed his perspective on Donald Trump and his relationship. With the former and soon-to-be incoming president of the United States. You know, before they had their sit down, all he could do was kind of see what Donald Trump is, watch what Donald Trump does, hear what Donald Trump says, and formulate his own opinion. Now, I'm sure people like, well, guys that he associates with on a frequent basis kid, rock, Dana White would say, oh, you know, this, that or the other thing about him. But Joe Rogan's one of those guys where if he doesn't know you, his lit mitt test for how that very public relationship he would have with you moving forward would come in the form of how you perform on the Joe Rogan experience. And again, you didn't get A to Z every question or item you wanted to cover covered during his, you know, nearly three hour podcast with Donald Trump. The fact of the matter is that Donald Trump went into what a lot of considered the belly of the beast, independent media, someone who was not a loyalist and performed exceedingly well. And when you look at how Joe Rogan kind of sees it in retrospect now, well, let's just listen to the clip. The quote about Trump or the narrative about Trump has always been that he's bullshitting everybody that he's a con man. He's definitely very persuasive. You know, Scott Adams has wrote about this pretty much in depth about how well Trump practices the art of persuasion, you know, the art of the deal. He's great at making people's friend and making relationships. And if you're his enemy, fuck you, scorched earth, you know, it's like this. And there's fear of that. You don't want to get on his bad side. There's all this like, there's this art of like how he negotiates and has gone through this years and years and years of business. But but that's him. That's like, the guy's right there. You could talk to him about everything and anything. He's right there. He's not protecting any of his ideas. He called a girl. He's allegedly slept with horseface when he was the president on Twitter. So funny. It's the wildest shit. So you're getting what you get. That's who the guy is. And you love. I like him. I've gone. I've grown to like him. I had a much more negative opinion of him back in the day because it was, there's only so much you can pay attention to and do deep dives on. Because you believe the media, Joe, just say the media, the grab them by the pussy guy. It's probably not good for the country. That seems crazy. But as time went on, I was like, Oh, you need a guy that is completely crazy to expose how corrupt the whole system is and how they all collude together and how they all they all say this. There's all these montages of clips of news organizations saying the same narrative outright over and over verbatim, word by word, they're getting fed this by someone, some entity, somehow or another, they're collaborating and they're all choosing this very specific narrative and they're running with it and they're trying to destroy people with it. And I saw them do it with me. I saw them do it with me during the COVID thing. And it was all motivated by the pharmaceutical drug companies and the profits. And they were terrified that someone's going to come along and somehow to put a notch in this little thing that they've created, which is a devious little thing that they've done where they eliminated all sorts of other remedies. They cut out all these generic drugs that possibly could have been used to help people. They denied people the use of monoclonal antibodies. They push the fucking shit out of this one thing so they can make money off of it. And they did it in collusion with the media. No one acted like a journalist. No one looked at the excess deaths. No one looked at the instances of myocarditis in young people. No one looked at any of that. There was no journalism. It just showed everyone that the whole system is bought and paid for. It's all corrupt. And the only way you could find out who a person really is is to listen to them talk for long periods of time. You know what I heard right there? Joe Rogan has some newfound respect for Donald Trump because Joe Rogan has had to endure in much of the same sense like Donald Trump has to be targeted by everyone to be placed in the center of that ecosphere and have everybody say the media, the press, politicians, the industrial complexes, all at the same time say the same nasty, mean, hateful, divisive, and in most instances untrue things about you. And having gone through that, albeit tough, I felt bad for Joe Rogan. There's no love-lost warm in the way he treated Donald Trump up until, you know, their new founded bromance. But he also looks on the other side and not only talks about how people like him and major political figures like Donald Trump were treated, but it's how other major political figures treated Americans leading up to this election right now. Listen to this. Did trust the government. But there's just, which is such a weird thing to say. You know, I used to think it was the Obama administration. But boy, Obama during this Kamala Harris administration, it changed my opinion to that guy. Oh, really? Did you have a high opinion of him before? Yeah, I did. Just as an intelligent person in the statesman. I felt like he's probably like caught up in the system. It's very difficult to make real meaningful change. You know, you think you're going to do something and then you get into office, and you're like, Oh God, what a fucking quagmire this place is. But watching him just straight up lie about Trump. The thing that got me was that very fine people thing, the white supremacist thing that just kept trying to say that he was a racist, which is this thing that I think worked in like 2017. Yeah. I think it worked back then. I don't think it works anymore. I don't think people believe it anymore. I think that we've gotten numb to all this stuff. Well, this guy is falling thing, right? Yeah. Like, yeah, cry wolf or whatever. It's like, you guys can only call, you only call me a fascist so many times. I mean, like the New York Times wrote that article a couple years ago, right, where I'm like, it was the front of the coffee cup, where it's like, do you want Trump 2024? Do you want low taxes? Do you want this? I'm like, I want all that. Sounds good. And you can only call me a fascist, racist, asshole. I mean, to be fair, like, I can float into the asshole category relatively easy, but. And again, they always go out of serious talking points, especially ones centered around making it look like they're super aligned to President Trump with, you know, going off task like they did in both of those clips back to back. But here's the thing. There's a lot more clarity when it comes to the narrative about Donald Trump. There's a lot more clarity when it comes to the relationship that Joe Rogan and Donald Trump have right now. And again, it's not the same as like one with Elon Musk or even Dana White, but there is now a new found level of respect coming from Joe Rogan towards Donald Trump because number one, he's seen what he's been through. And number two, Joe Rogan has lived it when he referred back to what happened during COVID. So take it for what it is, but it's up to people like us in a much more greater context. When you're talking about the Joe Rogan experience and the vast reach that he has millions and billions of people every year, go and listen to that show. Moving forward, that's going to help President Trump be successful getting his second administration kicked off. Speaking of coming from a little bit of comedic sense, and as they both ended the two previous clips we listened to, John Stewart, who, you know, does his regular Monday thing on the daily show. I'm not a fan of him, but you know, he has been a realist when it's come to the election referendum that came down just two short weeks ago. I saw a clip of him kind of laying it out there for Democrats to honestly wake the fuck up, take a good hard long look in the mirror and get back to work if you want to continue to move in one direction or another because the direction you're moving in right now is not one that A is working for the American people and B was received by the American people. Let's hear. A election that we just had was a repudiation of the status quo, an overly regulated system that is no longer responsive or delivering for the needs of the people or their beloved beheaded squirrels. Oh, RIP peanut. Government is theoretically a constitutional system of checks and balances between equally powerful branches. But what government actually is, is an overly complicated Byzantine bureaucratic maze of rules, loopholes to those rules and norms. I don't disagree with them in every context of that, but, you know, Democrats got a lot of work to do. If they're going to get off the mat because it's been an absolute nightmare for them leading up to this election and following the results. So as we're getting ready to wrap right now and jump in with the lovely fiery, mostly peaceful, Christina Bob, I just caught a clip on TV of, believe it or not, one of the real life, Mr. Garrison's, South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham up in the Senate chambers, speak into a press gaggle and actually defending Matt Gaetz. So that's pretty awesome. We're going to end today's news coverage in a place that we always like to be. And that's on a high note. So as of right now, the Trump transition approval sits at 54% that 16 points over the disapprove at 38%. And when you're talking about favorability for the country, in another poll, both of them came out from national law today, 58% of Americans are optimistic about the direction the country is going to be going in come January of next year. So like to hear the positive press and in our last audio clip of the day, let's all bring it back. And in our last audio clip of the day, bring it back to where we know it needs to be. Starting on day one, down at the US Southern border, locking it down and start the largest deportation operation in the history of this planet featuring our Thanos. Tom Holman, let's listen. A lot of people wondered, how is this going to work? So how will it work? Well, look, I think the president's been clear on the stage. As far as the deportation operation, we will prioritize public safety threats and national security threats because we're the biggest, they pose the biggest danger to the United States. He's got three rails. So we'll do the deportation operation with the priorities. I just talked to all the gate. That'd be the priorities. Second thing is secure that border. Lock that border down and catch release and secure the border. The third rail is we got over 300,000 missed children. Over half a million children have been trafficking to the United States. This administration released them to unvetted sponsors and they can't find 300,000. And based on my three and a half decades, some of these children are forced labor. We already found some of them are forced labor. Some are forced extra trafficking. Some of them are pedophiles. We need to save these children. That's going to be a third rail. It's going to be a third rail. We need to tackle on day one. There's a hearing going on today about these missing children and a lot of administrators from these agencies being called up before Congress. There's also a hearing going on today with the FEMA director trying to get to the bottom of what the hell happened down in Florida in the wake of Hurricane Helene and why Trump supporters' houses were skipped by FEMA workers who were looking for victims and in God forbid some cases survivors. If any relevant news comes out of it, we'll have it in for our Friday edition of the show. I'm assuming that's going to be the same as always. We're at the end of a lame duck session. We're going to have no accountability. And everybody's going to go with their separate ways come January. But hey, that's just me. We're going to leave it at that as we're getting ready to jump in with Christina Bob. But before we do, let's have a final check in with one of our partners. It's an unpleasant truth that 42% of Americans are obese and 79% of Americans are overweight. That's practically one in every two Americans living day to day with every minute counting down to the end of an unhealthy existence. It's time to change that and make Americans healthy again. You've probably heard about weight loss injections that can help you get back into that right mindset and help curb those cravings so you can focus on what's really important. Make America healthy again. All right. Joining us next on the show today, this week's Tuesday edition of the State of reckless podcast. She's an attorney at the Republican National Committee. She's also a Marine, an author. She does a lot of stuff. She's a great friend to the show. She's one of our Wonder Women, Ms. Christina Bob, welcome back to the show. Hey, thanks so much for having me. I love coming on. I'm not loving that, though. I actually did your intro without getting you to laugh like I usually do. So our guests can hear you giggling before there. I'll laugh now. No, I love coming on. I always love your intro. You just say the nicest things. Well, they're all true and we don't embellish here on the show. We give credit where credit is doing. A lot of credit goes to you. Christina, where we're going to start, obviously, is still we're glowing from the election results that came just over about a week and a half ago. Last Tuesday, America spoke in a way they haven't spoken. Since some of the most, you know, rememberable landslide elections, obviously, the most reason for Republicans was Ronald Reagan and Richard Nixon, but Donald Trump did a little bit different. He went across the country and reclaimed every single state that he had won in 2016 back into the wooden column, added some, like the State of Nevada for the first time, landslide electoral victory, but also a popular vote win, which a lot of people close to the president and his strongest supporters definitely saw as something that we could achieve on election night. But I think everybody else outside of the, you know, immediate MAGA orbit said that was kind of like a little bit of wish casting, but here it is, a big popular vote victory and a mandate with retaining and extending the House majority and flipping the Senate back into Republican control. We got good numbers on the Supreme Court. What do you think following Tuesday's big election? Oh, I'm thrilled. I think it's a time to celebrate. I think a lot of America is doing just that breathing a sigh of relief. I think it's going to help all of our holidays to just be able to enjoy the win and get to the inauguration, certainly after the inauguration and all the confirmations and everything start taking place. We ramp back up into normal life and into normal political discourse, but I'm thrilled with the election results and really happy to be able to just enjoy the holidays without worrying about the future of our country at the moment. Now, when you saw President Trump finish up the selection cycle, there was a lot of things that led to his overall success. I think the way he, you know, had an overwhelming majority, you could probably count his non-prominent supporters, and I don't even want to call him prominent. On one hand, the Mitt Romney's, the Mike Pence's, the Chris Christie's of the world, if they're even considered Republicans anymore. In addition to that, you had the widening of the MAGA tent with broadened people like Elon Musk, Tulsi Gabbard, RFK Jr., etc. You know, but in addition to that, what was going on was the news cycle, it never seemed was able to catch up with Donald Trump, and he was able to campaign almost like in a free fashion that I had never seen him do before. He was lapping the narrative in regards to what they were trying to put out there as like October surprises or things like that. You know, and by the time this was all said and done, he'd show up for a round table in the morning and mid-afternoon, he'd be doing a rally in some closed arena somewhere, and then he'd jump on a podcast and to round out the day, he'd be on the other side of the country coming out in a trench coat and a golden black MAGA hat to the undertaker theme song. It seemed like, if there was one thing that Donald Trump did at the end of this, it was enjoying getting his message out to the American people. And in ways that we haven't seen before, I mean, every demographic and cross tab moved to the right and to Donald Trump, we saw historic number shifts, some over 20%. We see places like California come out in a fashion like they never have before, 41% voted for a Republican candidate, and someone who's at the top of a presidential ticket. And I just want to, you know, ask you, as someone that worked kind of on the ground and working with the election stuff, we changed the way we did elections in a lot of contexts in a very short amount of time. I think it was 18 months or less where we're changing up being game day voters to early voting, ballot harvesting, we're applicable, get your voting early so you go out and chase ballots and get other people. But there was also like a component of like Hispanics and blacks and young people and women for the first time who were going to vote Republican or participate in election overall, that kind of led to this huge victory here and just kind of want to get as you watch the numbers come in. And then as they kind of started the autopsy on the Democrat campaign and looked at how much they had hemorrhaged over to America first, what you thought about the job that was done leading up to this election and after election night? Well, I think the reason for that really belongs with Donald Trump as a candidate himself. I mean, he's unique. He's unparalleled. There's been no other candidate similar to Donald Trump. He's really unique. And I think as you were talking about him lapping the mainstream media, I think that just comes down to the fact that he's authentic. He's incredibly authentic. And because he's lived basically his whole life in media, in the limelight, being a very public figure, he was very comfortable in that space, more so than I think any other presidential candidate, the presidency of the United States is on the line and someone's fighting for it. People who haven't been in that space tend to rely more on political advisors and political operatives telling them what they should say. And it's a little bit more manufactured. Donald Trump didn't need to do that. He has very good instincts about the media and the public and what people want to see. And he was able to, I think the reason he was able to move faster than most of the media was because he was just being authentically himself doing what he would want to do anyway. And it worked. He was, he just had his finger on the pulse of what the American people wanted and what they wanted to do. And I think that's why it worked. I think certainly Kamala Harris, but most other political opponents, political challengers or candidates are a lot more manufactured. It takes a team of people to prop them up and tell them what to say. And this is what you say and how you say it and when you say it. And this is where you need to go. And they try to be somewhat scripted out of a sense of insecurity because they don't know what's going to happen and they want to make sure they don't do anything. One misstep can completely derail an entire campaign that you've worked a lifetime to get to. So they tend to be a little bit more timid in how they navigate public settings and media. And Donald Trump was, there was nothing timid about Donald Trump whatsoever. So I think that's why he won the narrative at the end of the day because he was able to just do it on his own in the way that he does it. And it worked. You can't make an argument against that. In regards to be outpacing the media narrative, like they would come out with a story that was critical against the Trump campaign. And oh, there's Donald Trump working in McDonald's. They would come out with something on one of his staff or one of his candidates that are running in a house seat or a senate seat across the country. Oh, I'm in a garbage truck. Oh, I'm over here with a famous American Italian opera singer. And he's singing the title track to the sum of all fears at the end of my rally. And we all know how that movie goes. It was just like no matter what they tried to do, Donald Trump was ready to show America that he was not only the greatest candidate in the history of modern politics. He's also been the greatest showman in the history of modern politics as well. I think his touchable, feelable nature that he really did, you know, rub elbows and resonate with the American people allowed him to go out and be that candidate towards the end of the trail. But you know, where we see all of the good, there was also some stuff going on behind the scenes that we need to bring attention on as well. You know, we saw the law fair wages against Donald Trump throughout the course of this entire since the time he's been out of the White House and heading up to when he's been going back, whether it was, you know, people trying to take him off the ballots in certain states using civil cases against him to try and bankrupt him, trying to put him in prison forever for narratives like the January 6th stuff as well. But some of the top surrogates, including yourself, had come under the radar and under the targeting of this weaponized justice system as well in regards to election integrity and things of that nature. And I kind of want to let you explain to our listenership some of the stuff that, you know, what you can talk about went on behind the scene the last couple of years leading up to this election now regarding some of that law and fair wage against yourself. Yeah, well, so I'm under nine felony indictments in the state of Arizona for forgery, which is ridiculous. I didn't forage anything and I don't think anybody did. But so that's my current situation. And then, you know, there's folks that are in Diamond in Georgia, in Michigan, in Wisconsin, they were in Nevada. That case got thrown out for lack of jurisdiction. It was that one was so over over gamesmanshiped that it didn't even survive a jurisdictional challenge. But I think these row like I think I think Democrats have gotten way too comfortable using their positions of authority in government for political purposes. And that's why you that's why you're seeing the MAGA crowds so excited that Matt Gates was announced to be the attorney general once he's confirmed, right? Because he was targeted, he knows what it's like. And it's like, okay, once you see that someone who's bled, you know, metaphorically speaking, under the suppression, it needs to get cleaned out. Everybody wants it cleaned out. No one wants to be walking on eggshells because of their political position. But that that's where we're at. Now, I'm hopeful that all of these cases that are open, now to be clear, anybody associated with Donald Trump or any of the elected the alternate electors that were used in 2020, none of them have been convicted at this point, except I think one pled guilty, which anyway, that you know, you want to get out of it, pled guilty to a misdemeanor, unsupervised probation. So basically let them go, just let us give you a conviction was the result of that. But anyway, I expect to see these cases start to disappear. Their their wheels are falling off. I mean, the judge in my case just had to recuse himself because a reporter in Arizona uncovered a bunch of emails where he was emailing the entire bench in Maricopa County, telling all of the judges that they need to support Kamala Harris and support all of the Democrat programs. And he's supposed to be an impartial judge. He should have recused himself without a reporter having to dig that up and find it. So it just looks terrible. Like the public perception of this is really, really bad. So I don't know what's going to happen with that. I expect that all of these attorney generals that thought they were doing a good thing by charging all of these people with fake made up crimes, they thought they were doing a good thing by helping their candidate with choice. And all of those states went to Donald Trump. Every single state when attorney general abused their position in order to try to help Kamala Harris, all of those states went to Donald Trump. So I think it sends a clear message that's not the direction that the country wants to go. And I hope, you know, from my own sake and everybody else's sake, I hope that they fall apart at the seams. But that remains to be saying how, you know, how awful they're going to make it for us just because they hate us politically. But I thought Lady Justice were a blindfold. Right. Christina, talk about you had mentioned incoming attorney general, former Congressman Matt Gaetz. I mean, you want to talk about a record ball. It's literally going to be like that part that floats around the internet where Ari gets his job back at the agency and comes out of the elevator with a paintball gun from entourage. It's literally going to be like, and that's why everyone's like screaming about it. Everyone's like, Oh, Matt Gaetz isn't qualified. Oh, you don't think he's qualified? First of all, he's a very experienced attorney is a litigator for years. And he also was falsely accused by the FBI subject to a full investigation accused. They tried to humiliate him publicly accusing him of all sorts of terrible things that he didn't do. Finally, the FBI was forced to admit, you know, and he didn't actually do anything we accused him of. And so they dropped it. Like, I think he's the perfect person to understand what the American people want out of our justice department, because what we've been getting out of our justice department is anything but justice. He's well more qualified than Eric Holder was. For sure. He's more qualified than all of them. I mean, Merrick Garland, Merrick Garland should be humiliated with the way that he's run that department. I mean, largely because of, I mean, I suppose I owe him a thank you despite the fact he's made my life a living hell. I owe him a thank you because I think they ran it so badly that it pushed so many people to the right. It pushed the nation. The nation looked at what Merrick Garland was doing and what DOJ was doing and FBI and all of them. And they were like, "Ah, that's not what I want. I don't want that." And I think the American people resoundingly spoke up a week or two ago, whatever it was. We've never seen it like this before. And I do want to touch on that. What are some of the other current cabinet picks that are exciting you about President Trump? I mean, Pete Heggseth going in for the defense. I don't know. That was the one I was going to bring up. Sorry, I didn't mean to cut you off. No, just talk about this. You're a veteran, Christina. Listen, Pete Heggseth, someone that 20 years in the military, so much work for veterans advocacy, highly decorated, two bronze stars. The guy is also a double degree holder from two different Ivy League universities. And the only thing the mainstream media wants to say is Donald Trump hires a Saturday and Sunday morning talk show host to be the head of the Department of Defense. Talk about this a little bit. Yeah, I was shocked when I saw Pete Heggseth. I think because he just never really, at least in my mind, never really entered into the running, like he's a talk show of us, right? But he's certainly qualified and capable of doing it. The thing that I really like about the Pete Heggseth pick, and I'm not like indoors, like whatever, the president can pick whoever he wants. But the thing about Pete Heggseth that resonates most with me is he's been out of the military for a while. He's been very civilianized. He is a civilian in his life today. And if we learned anything from the Trump 1.0 administration, it's don't bring recently retired generals back in and think you're going to have someone who's going to competently run the Pentagon the way a civilian would. And the way our founding fathers set set it up was that the department of defense should be run by a civilian. And I think President Trump's first term is a really good testament as to why that's a really important rule. Like it needs to be someone out of the military. But I think Pete Heggseth is removed. He has, as you mentioned, he's got the resume that I think would work for it, but he's removed enough where I don't think we would have the same problems that we had under Trump's first administration. No, I completely agree with you there. And then when you talk about like border security, obviously, there's going to be a lot of administrative work that needs to be done with the Department of Homeland Security after all 100, America's kind of ruined it over the course of the last four years. Insert South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem. I mean, this is someone that's ran a state. She also knows the congressional ins and outs and how legislation drafted and collaborated with there will eventually get to President Trump's desk so she can enforce it throughout the mother agency. And then when you talk about who's going to be overseeing her work, I mean, I don't know how much you're into the Marvel universe, Kristina, but Tom Holman is pretty much our Thanos here on the show as he wants to snap at least half of the illegals in this country out of the United States over the course of the next four years. And he's going to be the borders are when you talk about, I mean, you worked in the Department of Homeland Security during the first Trump administration when you see the refreshing faces that are going in there and what those agencies need to be able to get the job done to not only lock down the border, but start to get real immigration reform going, it seems like the future might be kind of bright. Yeah, I was surprised by Kristi Noem going to DHS, but it works. Whoever ends up running it or, you know, there's going to be other appointees going there as well. I hope they significantly scale it back because as we've seen with Mayorkas, the Department of Homeland Security has turned into something that has really, I think, become a problem for the American people. I'd like to see it reduced particularly. Sissa's part of DHS and all of this misinformation stuff that Democrats are like, oh, we need to control speech. We need to control media. We need to control that's all coming out of DHS. And so I, all the border stuff is what it is. And I'm grateful for Tom Hallman. And I think Kristi Noem's perfectly competent to help, you know, work with Tom to fix that. I hope she significantly scales back the rest of the reach of the Department because I don't like what I'm seeing. All it takes is one administration to flip over and they make the Department into, you know, the Ministry of Truth. And, you know, as a journalist and as someone who has been indicted for my reporting, that that is particularly concerning to me. So I love all other plans with the border. I just want to make sure they scale that department back. No, it certainly needs to be. I mean, if it's not going out there and targeting Americans, which is not what it's supposed to be doing, it's not protecting the president much like we saw up in Butler, Pennsylvania in July of this year. In addition, it's also turned into a lot of, in a lot of context, we're seeing it to the Department of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. And when you're talking about a lot of people who are running that agency, all of the agencies there under the guise of DHS, who are non uniform, who have never been to an academy, carry a badge, but don't carry a gun in a law enforcement context, what job are you really doing there? Are you talking about the color of somebody's skin, or their gender, whatever, and how high they could move up the evolutionary chain? Are you talking about protecting the president and not going to Trump houses in an after natural disaster like we saw with FEMA or actually doing some work down on the US, southern border instead of just letting everybody be Walmart greeters? Totally. And for Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswami, who are now starting, yeah, starting this doge division or task force, just flagging for them, that DHS is one place where they can make significant cuts and really save our nation that way. So, I'm hoping that DHS falls under that. I'm pretty sure that they will. Listen, Christina, as always, this is great catching up with you today. On today’s (Tuesday 2 of 2) Episode of the Steak for Breakfast Podcast, we are covering:
The boys were back in town this weekend: and by the boys we mean Presidents Trump and the gang and by back in town we mean the Big Apple and Madison Square Garden where the President-Elect and friends took in UFC 309 and afterwards, made a late-night McDonald’s run
As the democrats and the mainstream media continue to come to terms with the election results two weeks ago, we may see a shift in coverage so drastic that even MSNBC’s Joe and Mika went down to Mar-a-Lago this week to kiss this ring
