Oh, welcome in. Good to have you on this Monday. And we have lots to do. I have, I have some thoughts on Manko Burjinsky and Joe Scarborough on morning Joe on MSNBC reaching out and then actually meeting with Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago. I've got, I've got thoughts about it. We'll talk about it coming up in the three o'clock hour. But it is a pretty stunning turn around. And I, and I, I think I know why. And I think there are some reasons behind it and some numbers behind it. We'll get into it. But, but I guess my question centers around the fact of, is this a good thing or is this smoke and mirrors? Is this a good thing? Is this something that should be done? Or is it just for show? What we'll talk about. President Joe Biden is authorizing Ukraine to use long range missiles that the United States has provided inside Russian territory. Now, that was a red line that the Biden administration had put on to these stipulations, these munitions, these, the money that was earmarked for Ukraine. Part of, of the guardrails was you don't use these inside Russian territory. Well, now Joe Biden is authorizing Ukraine to use these weapons inside Russian territory, deep inside Russian territory. And, you know, you're talking about over the border of, of the Ukrainian Russian border into the Kursk region, where there had been a huge focus, where there had been a primary focus of Ukrainian military officials focusing in on this area. And so now, President Biden has given the okay. Well, it's, it's put, I think, into focus. What this means for Ukraine, what this means for the United States, because you've got Russian lawmakers inside the Kremlin saying that this could lead to World War three. If U.S. weapons are being used inside Russian territory, that that this could escalate things to a point of, well, the highest escalation, where you're talking about NATO being involved, the United States being involved. And quite frankly, it's just, it's just not the way a, an administration should hand off to an incoming administration. I mean, we're what two months away, a little over two months away from Donald Trump taking office. And now, Joe Biden wants to authorize the use of long-range missiles, U.S. backed long-range missiles, allow that into, into Russian territory. It seems like a, a very precarious decision. You've got Demetri Paskoff with the Kremlin saying this decision is reckless, dangerous, aimed at a quantitative change, a qualitative increase in the level of involvement into the United States. It, it, it puts the United States squarely in the middle of this, where before you're providing aid, you're providing support. And, and now Russia could look at this very differently. It, it, it puts the incoming Trump administration in a really bad spot. So we'll continue to watch that, continue to update you as we get more information. But on a couple of other notes, um, there is a, a full court press in, in any way possible that maybe some of these Donald Trump appointments might not get through, that there are even Republican lawmakers on Capitol Hill that are saying it's going to be very difficult to get all of these appointments through. But there also is this notion, this idea that, that even with a lot of these more controversial, I suppose, decisions that, that they will see the light of day and they will get through. And, and I, I, I think that regardless of what people think of these appointments, it only matters what a couple of people are in the Senate belief. And so I think that's what this is eventually going to come down to. And even senators like Rick Scott, where maybe some of the more moderate, maybe more, um, potential a little more lukewarm on Donald Trump, Republican senators, they might not make much of a difference because I think at the end of the day, they're going to hold the party line. So we'll continue to watch that. I'm very curious of this story with Whoopi Goldberg, saying that this, this bakery on Long Island, uh, it didn't fill her order or wouldn't take her order because of her political views. As a result, the bakery has come out and said, no, we didn't turn down Whoopi Goldberg because of her political views. We had an issue with our, with our, our equipment, our boilers were acting up and we couldn't do anything. But Whoopi Goldberg goes on her soapbox saying, well, she got turned down because of her political views, which is just isn't true. And so I, in a world of there's a plethora of reasons that you can be upset. There's a, there's a number of things that you could have legitimate concerns about. Why on earth are we manufacturing anger? Why on earth are we then going to drag a business through the mud for no reason? It is, it is stunning to me where there are many things that you can have a gripe about, but then to just manufacture it seems very strange to me, very strange to me. Meanwhile, locally, the parents of the Oxford shooting victims say they want answers about what happened at Oxford High School almost three years ago. They want the state of Michigan to conduct and fund an investigation and to use its subpoena power to force people to talk about what they heard, what they saw of the day of, of that shooting. WJ, our senior news analyst, Maria Osborne joins me with more of those details. Good afternoon, Marie. Hi, Chris. So three years after the tragedy, the families of the Oxford High School shooting victims say they still don't have all the answers about what happened the day of the shooting. That is Buck Mear speaking at the press conference. He's the father of Tate Mear, one of the students killed. The parents say that no thorough investigation with complete participation by school officials and staff has ever been conducted since that shooting. They want that done now. There was one investigation by a company called Guidepost Solutions, but two thirds of the staff refused to cooperate with that investigation. And that included two key school officials who made the controversial decision to let the teenage shooter return to class following a meeting with him and his parents. So over the years, the victims have families have consistently held that they're disappointed by the lack of transparency they support and the support they've received from the school district. They want state officials to mandate a state led investigation requiring full participation. And Chris, up until now, most of the information the parents gained about the shooting came from the trials of the shooter and his parents. Of course, all of them were found guilty and all are serving time. Yeah, and there was a push by the families and the victims and to even take up the offer of Attorney General Dan Nessel to do an independent investigation. And there was stone walling and and eventually they that that investigation ever happened. Is there any indication that we'd get to something serious here legitimate? Well, they're, you know, they're making this full court press when they had this press conference today, they had members of the Oxford community law enforcement, the state school board all behind them literally standing behind these parents. They're just asking that everyone stop pointing fingers at each other and to please sit down and really talk about getting the job done about an investigation. Will it happen remains to be seen? We'll see. Marie, thanks so much. Appreciate that report. Thank you. I will take a break. Big win for the Lions yesterday. We'll talk with Tim 20 minute Detroit lines.com next here on W. Jam. Hey, that's a hell of a job, man. It's a hell of a job. I'm gonna go back to what I said last night. Man, when you have talent, talented football players and they are made of the right kind of stuff. They are made of the right kind of stuff. And those guys come together. You have a collective willpower that you can make the game any way you want to go. You can do that. That's exactly what you guys did. You came out after a rough game last week. We found a way to win. And we weren't having it today, man. You guys wheeled that game the way you wanted it. And we have that ability. Remember that talented players made of the right stuff. All coming together at the right time with the right coaching staff with the right mentality. And look, injuries be damned. I don't know. I mean, Alex Anseloni out six to eight weeks. He goes out in the middle of that game. And look, you know, the people that are that are banged up that are hurt that we're not seeing on the field. And yet they continue to play the kind of football they are. And it's remarkable what they're able to do offensively. And defensively, they just keep finding an answer. And and yeah, it's it's remarkable. We just haven't seen anything like this in Detroit. And it's special. Whatever's happening is is something special. Tim. Twenty men is the senior writer and insider at Detroit lines.com and joins me this afternoon. Tim, it's good to have you. Boy, it for whatever reason, the bills beating Kansas City yesterday, just put the the football world into a tizzy because for whatever reason, all of a sudden now the Lions are odds Super Bowl favorites. It's it's a very strange morning. But it's a fun one when you look at, you know, hanging 52 on the team. Yeah, they're playing really good football right now. And I think the one thing that you have to love if you're a lion span is just the complimentary way in which they're playing football and winning games. You know, I mean, last week, obviously, the offense struggles, kind of get it late, but the defense kept them in that game entirely. You know, Tennessee, you get all those special teams contributions. And then the offensive performance this week, I think it's a football team that can win in a lot of different ways. And you know, that's what you have to love about this football team because before it's all said and done, you're going to need really all three phases to to win your football game at one point or another. And this Detroit football team can do it in all three ways. You know, the one thing that that does scare me is it feels like eventually you're going to be in a spot where boy, are you going to miss an Alex Anseloni or are you going to miss an Aidan Hutchinson and his his his mentality, his motor, but but more importantly, the what he actually brings in terms of pressures and sacks and those things. It's like Derek Barnes out. It just feels like eventually these these injuries are going to catch up to them. Where do they feel like they're at at this point? Nine in one, obviously very much in the driver's seat, but but is it is it still the next man up mentality? I mean, you got a couple of guys that they're going to have to step up and into some pretty big roles. Yeah, next panel then look, that's where you have to credit Brad Holmes in the job that he and his staff have done to build the depth of this football team. You know, look, you lost Derek Barnes week through the obviously that was a big loss with, you know, how big that Sam linebacker positions in this defense, but we haven't really felt a ton, you know, and then you lose Aidan Hutchinson, you know, week five and played now what five, six games without him. You felt it a little bit, but it, you know, it hasn't been game wrecking. And look, Alex does a lot with his team. He's a world linebacker, he's a back-to-back under tackle guy. He's probably more, you know, their best cover linebacker. But again, you know, guys, you're going to have to set up Jack Campbell, Alfred Rodriguez, Trevor Nowoski, you know, all guys that have stepped in, made plays, started games. And so really that's the mentality. It's, look, it's not a matter of if, but it's when Andrew's going to have in this league. You look around the league, every team is dealing with major injuries, but the good ones have depth to find a way to get guys to step in, contribute, make plays, and that's going to lead the job of Dan Campbell and his staff moving forward without some of these guys. Look, I think the easy answer is probably the talents better. And they've, they've drafted well, they've developed a lot of the guys that have been now with them for a couple of years here. But you've been around this organization for a long time. What's different? Like, what, what, aside from the talent, because obviously that's there, is there anything different in the way Ben Johnson operates or Aaron Glenn operates or Dan Campbell operates? What's the, what's been the overriding difference this year? Do you think? No, it's a good question because there has been talented players and a few players in my time here. It's my 15th year covering the team. And, you know, I think, I think just the confidence is probably the biggest thing. You just feel it throughout the building. And it's not just in a locker room with the players, but upstairs too. And that's something that, that, that Dan is still in, in, you know, when you have a ton of confidence and you also have continuity. And I think that that's a little bit on the value too. I mean, this, you know, this offensive coordinator, defensive quarter, special teams coordinator, they've been together through the duration. And I know Ben was appointed the offensive quarter a year later, but he was here in the staff. And so when you've got guys have been together four years now, when you've got, you know, players that have been in schemes for four or three years now. And there's a confidence level with what this coaching staff brings and, you know, especially the head coach, I think all that combined together, confidence and continuity are two really good things in football. And we're seeing the results on the football field. I also love the mentality. And I think we got a little bit of a peek into it. Kirby Joseph talked about it post game. I think Carl didn't Davis also mentioned something about it. But you know, there's this idea. And I think a couple of players in green Bay said it before the game against the Packers a couple of weeks ago. It's like, well, these guys just want to embarrass you. They come in. They want to embarrass you. They run trick plays and they just want to embarrass teams. And the realities are, I think Kirby Joseph said it perfectly like if you if you don't want us to run the score, then then play better football like come to play football. And I think that's the mentality that's that we just have never seen here. It's like, no, we're just going to beat you to a pulp until you stop us. And I think that that killer mentality has been missing. But then you pair that with the talent. And and I think you get, you see what a nine in one franchise looks like. Yeah, 100% that's that confidence that we talked about, you know, just a little bit ago. That's the answer. We're going to do what we do. We know we're good. We know our offensive coordinator is probably the best in the business. We know we have talent all over on offense. We're going to play our game. We're going to flip a down your throat. We're going to play action with our quarterback who's the best play action quarterback in the league. Then we're going to take some deep shots and we're going to continue to do that. We're going to have our right tackle involved in plays. We're going to have some fun doing it. We're going to dance in the end zone. You don't want to see us dance in the end zone. Guess what? Let us get there. And it's the same mentality on defense too. And that's what winning teams have, right? We're going to play our stance style. We're going to play our game. You're just in our way. Now he prevented us from doing it. For those to you, we'll tip your hat and we'll see you down the line. But it's a confident bunch that's going to play their brand of football. And it's a really good brand of football right now. And I don't see him slowing down anytime soon. Look, Jacksonville stinks. Okay, we call a spade a spade, but I don't care who you're playing. These are pro players. They get paid real money. These are professional NFL players to go seven for seven in your first seven possessions into the end zone is remarkable. And we know what this offense can do locally. But I mean, you look nationally, something changed yesterday. The narrative changed a little bit. It went from like, wow, this team is really good. Or this may be the best team in the NFL. All it took was a buffalo win over over the chiefs to now put the lions as odds on betting favorites to win the Super Bowl. What do you think changed? Like what did people see yesterday that that even took this narrative to another level? Yeah, you know, when you're undefeated, there's a sense of, you know, invincibility around you, right? And Kansas City's won the last two Super Bowls. They're defending champions. And then they're undefeated. I think they deserved that that that mark is, Hey, that's the team to beat. You know, when you lose a game and now with with how Detroit has won, I mean, three games they've won by 35 plus points that seven three times. Yeah, this happened three times in NFL history. They scored 52 points and backed back games at home. I mean, the way that they're winning. And, you know, when you talk about the offense to and how fun it is offense, but there's one thing I took from talking to beard last night after the game is, you know, that touched on the block, right? I think it was his third touchdown. That was like his third or fourth reading set. And he's like, the amazing thing about being in this offense is that when I get to my third or fourth read, it's a really good player that can make a play. You know, it sometimes it's Jumier Gibbs or David Montgomery as a, you know, as an outlet out the backfield. Well, and Jumier Gibbs took the one pass. He caught 54 yards almost for a touchdown. Yes. Right. He was just like, it's not always like this, but why this offense is so good is when I get to my third and fourth read, it's a really good players probably want to match up and can make a big play. And so that's the thing that Jared is loving. And I think it gives you an idea of just how talented this offense is. Yeah. And then, and then of course, believing that your guy is going to make a play, which they seem to always do. Tim, appreciate the conversation. We'll talk again soon. Sorry, there's any time. All right. Well, that's Tim 20 minute Detroit lines.com. We're coming up. So I want to add, I want to add something into the mix, but I would like to hear from you on the lions. I just want to add a little levity to this Monday. It's gray. I, whatever. I mean, look, the realities are we just have never, this is totally uncharted waters. The fact that the lions are what they are is it for a lot of us lions fans, it's like a fairy tale. Like this is like it's, it's literally unbelievable that we're here. Um, so if you want to weigh in on that eight hundred eight, five, nine, zero, nine, five, seven, I just think, look, this is, this is the best team in the NFL. And there is nobody that scares me. There is nobody that I feel like they couldn't beat. There is nobody that I feel would would really pose much of a threat. And it's just how I feel. And look, I watch a lot of NFL football. I watch a lot of football. And I just, there is nobody like the Detroit Lions right now in the NFL, which is spectacular. Um, I also want to throw this into the mix because I told you on Friday that I couldn't have possibly been more excited about this Jake Paul and Mike Tyson fight. Um, I know Brian was excited about it too, which is shocking, quite frankly, that Brian gets excited about any sporting event. Um, it was what I thought it was going to be. It was a dog and pony show. I will, I will, if I can just throw this to the mix, because Jake Paul won in a unanimous decision. Um, Mike Tyson tagged them a couple of times. Jake Paul hit Mike Tyson a couple of whatever it really was nothing. They danced around the ring. Mike Tyson looked like a 60 year old man. Mike Tyson looked like, you know, he didn't have the legs that he used to have. He didn't have the mobility that he used to have. Um, and I think at the end of the day, they were both just collecting millions and millions of dollars. But I will say this one, Jake Paul is maybe the best marketer of all time. I don't, I don't totally get it. I don't understand. Again, he's not my, uh, in my purview, but he's the best marketer that I've ever seen. Two, I actually have a little bit of respect for Jake Paul because what nobody actually wanted to see, nobody wanted to see Mike Tyson on the floor. Nobody wanted to see Mike Tyson, you know, face down on the mat, asleep. And I, I felt like particularly like third round on, it felt like Jake Paul could put him on the mat. And he didn't. And so I actually felt, uh, I actually had a little bit of respect for Jake Paul. If I'm being totally honest, once I realized that this truly was a dog and pony show, then I was, then I don't need to see Mike Tyson flatlined. Brian, what did you think? I disagree. I think, um, cause Jake Paul hit him a few times. He did. Mike Tyson could take a punch. It didn't raise him. I don't think, I think Jake Paul was being very, very careful and using his reach because he had a lot of reach on Tyson. I think he was being very, very careful not to get in that zone where Tyson could hit him because you're right. Tyson wasn't moving. Yeah, but you know what? Tyson was always the shorter guy with the shorter arms span. And it only took one punch. Yeah. I think I think Jake Paul was dancing, especially the first couple of rounds. He was dancing away from him trying to tire. Yeah, he was probably feeling him out a little bit just to see what he had. But I think even in the later rounds, he was being very cautious, not to let him not open up when we're Tyson again. Danielle, you were very excited about this fight. Mm hmm. When, when how, where did you settle on this? Um, it looked like an old man fighting a young man. Yeah. Is what I, and I said, he's being very, very cautious. Cause he knows that's Mike Tyson. Like he was not trying to hurt him. No, that's what I thought. That's what I thought. And I didn't think that he was going to try and hurt him. No, I, I thought there was, again, he landed a couple. But I mean, there were a couple of times when I thought, boy, you could go hard in on him right now and you're just not. Yeah. And I was fine with that. I don't need to see Mike Tyson, you know, again, a 60 year old man knocked unconscious. The thing is, Mike Tyson has already expressed all of his admiration for Jake Paul before any of this. He has already said Jake Paul is the one. He's the one that's going to make the most money. If you watch that documentary, that's what he said. He makes the most money. So of course they come together to make a massive amount of money. It was not about the fight. It was about the money. What did you think of the spectacle of it all? Um, it was boring. I was bored. I agree. I mean, the fight beforehand with the girls was great. That was awesome. Yeah, it was fine. I mean, it was, I, I don't know. I just think that boxing has slid so far out of people's purview that it's like fine. Like I don't know. You know, you, um, why do they hug each other so much? I was like, Oh, look at him hugging. No, that's not why. Well, that's what I perceived it to be. I never really understood the hug. Yeah. So when you, when, if what you don't want to do is you don't want to get in close and then have your opponent be able to hit you. So if you go in tight, then they don't, they can't get you. So then it just gives you a minute to then reset. They both were resetting. Yeah. They re they, the first couple of rounds, they re they were resetting a lot. I was like, all right. Yeah. Look at this little dance. They're doing this. Nice. All right. Mark and Lavonia. What's up, Mark? Yeah. Two quick comments going on the fight. My buddy said that 85% of the batting was enticing to win. And my buddy said, you know, they just doesn't work to lose. Who they don't? My other comment is, okay, you know what a Super Bowl looks like, you know, the salad bowl looks like, but I know what a Super Bowl looks like. Oh, Mark's in baby. They are going there, baby. I'm telling you. I love it. Mark, it's isn't this unbelievable. It's an unbelievable ride. It's on. It's crazy. Yeah. It's crazy. Yep. Yep. And the crowd at Torxfield that was on TV, they're the fans are Jews. Yeah. They're Jews. No, it's good stuff. It's good stuff. Mark, I appreciate you, my friend. Thank you. It's good. Kevin in his car. What's up, Kev? Well, it's funny after the fight, I flipped on Facebook. And the first thing that popped up was supposedly from Joe Rogan. And it said a couple days before Tyson had all got together in a private room. And Tyson knocked him out in 42nd. It was totally bogus, but it was comical that right into the fight that came up. They said that they they fought like just with no cameras somewhere. Right. Right. In a private setting. And I'm like, how would that be? Yeah, no. No, I don't think that that happened. I mean, there was no evidence of that happening. I thought it was comical that right after the fight that came. And that was on Facebook. Yeah. Really? Yeah. You know, look, I think there's a lot of stuff. Anytime that there's an event like that, and Kev, I appreciate the call. Anytime that there's an event like that, a huge event. I mean, you get all kinds of nonsense coming out. But boy, I mean, I don't know. It was a, it was a bit of a bummer. I was actually kind of sad. I just thought, boy, this is, this is not how anybody wants to see Mike Tyson. And I think the age showed a little bit. I mean, look, he's in better shape than, than any six year old that I've ever seen. But I just think that the age you could, you could see it, it got to him. All right. We'll take a break. Come back for more here on J.R. After. So I do want to just throw this into the mix. Because Donald Trump won the election. Donald Trump won the electoral college. He won the popular vote. And so there are people that say that, well, that, that Donald Trump, the American people gave Donald Trump a mandate to do what he talked about doing in the campaign. That, and that this mandate be, look, it's very clear that a majority of voters wanted Donald Trump and the electoral college went to Donald Trump that, that there is a clear decision that this guy do what he set out to do. Now, part of the thing that he set out to do was a mass deportation of criminal illegal migrants here in the United States. And there has been a lot made about Donald Trump saying that he will utilize the U.S. military to conduct mass deportations. Again, what does that mean? We don't know. We don't know yet. But Tom Fitton, who is the head of judicial watch, wrote in a post that the next administration will use military assets to reverse the Biden invasion through a mass deportation program, to which Donald Trump responded on truth social, true in all capitals, and three exclamation marks. And that sends some people into a tizzy, said some people into, there's a huge concern here. But again, this word mandate that's thrown around a lot, most people voted for Donald Trump. And these are the things that Donald Trump said he was going to do. Now, it's, it's, this is something that I think will divide a lot of people. It's something that, but again, something that he has talked about for years. Now, here's the other part in this, because over the last couple of days, you've got President Biden coming out saying that, that basically giving the okay to Ukraine to use U.S. long-range missiles inside Russian territory. Now, that's problematic for a number of reasons. But the fact that now we are two months out from an inauguration, the fact that we're out from two months out from a new administration taking over. That that this is going to escalate what is happening in Ukraine and Russia to another level. And I'm curious to get your thoughts on it. And why now is a valid question. You know, what, what is developing in Russia and Ukraine that is, that is making the president a little more emboldened to make this kind of decision to give that green light to Ukraine after this was a hard line for some time. And, and we just don't know the answer to that question. But I think it's fair that we be concerned of the ramifications of this action when, when our men and women could be involved, or the United States could, could, may have to be more involved. And the worry here from many military experts is that this escalates things to a, to a, to a new level in this conflict. And so I'm curious to know where you're at on these issues. Two months out from, from inauguration day, I guess two months and two days out from inauguration day. The mandate that the American people gave Donald Trump is that real? And then should we be surprised if Donald Trump takes the things that he said on the campaign and puts them into practical use? And then, and then how does this decision by Joe Biden impact what happens going forward? And impact the, the potential discussions that a Trump administration would have with, with the Kremlin and with Keith, eight hundred eight five nine zero nine five seven eight hundred eight five nine zero WJR. This is the, this is the, this is the worry that I think that we have, because these are real things that are happening. This isn't just, well, let's disagree or let's, you know, throw fit because somebody won or whatever. These are real things that are going to be impactful to us. And so what do you make of it? Eight hundred eight, five nine zero nine five seven. Let's go to Rochester, catch up with my friend Dave, Democrat, Dave, good afternoon to you. Long time no talk. Yeah. Hey, Chris. Yeah, Windsor on tip. Remember, Windsor, Ontario now. Windsor. I'm sorry. Windsor. Windsor. I'm here with Jimmy Kimball and Mika and Joe. No, Joe, Joe went down to Mar-a-Lago and you know what happens with people go down to Mar-a-Lago. They have like a lobotomy or something. Or no, it's a spine room, a spinal tap over a spine removal where they have a spinal move. Oh, we got a spinal move. The Lindsey Graham now, Joe Mika, it's like Mar-a-Lago. We're talking about that coming up at two 18, Dave. Don't worry about it. Yeah, uh, no, the van, I, sorry, I wouldn't go to the mandate. Uh, uh, the prior, uh, four elections, all but Trump, all but Trump when the, uh, majority of the votes, this will not happen this time. It when the popular vote, it when the plurality, uh, with the 1.8 that's left account, it's, uh, it's breaking to the point where he'll end up with under 50% of the vote. And, uh, I, I think it's, yeah, it's a surprising decisive victory, but I don't think people have been using the term mandate. They've been using the term landslide. Nah. Uh, even, even, even some of the stuff like, you know, he didn't win the black vote. He didn't win the, he didn't win the age vote. You know, I mean, yeah, he won surprisingly big, surprisingly big, but, um, it's, it's not quite, uh, uh, deserving of, you know, like anything he says, go. The people don't want the families, you've mentioned deportation. They don't want families deported who are committing crimes. You know, some of them have a marriage, naturalized American citizens. Right. Uh, the, uh, the Korea thing, uh, excuse me, your crane situation is quite obvious. Three weeks ago, 10,000 troops, they just either announced or discovered it's going to be more like a hundred thousand troops. So I don't, uh, I don't see what the issue is that it's, it's, it's using the US long range missiles inside Russia. It made it real and made it real easy for Joe Biden to get with a couple other countries who have long supported that anyway. UK, France. Yes. So what other issues haven't we hit yet that I need to weigh in on? I don't know. I think that's, uh, that about, what did you think of the Tyson fight? The Tyson fight. I, I thought he was trying to, you know, he was trying to hurt him up until, you know, the 10th second bell run, he couldn't knock him out anyway. Why bother? All right. I think he was trying to knock him out. Okay. All right. Thank you. Appreciate it. Uh, real quickly, it's good. Uh, I'll tell you what, we'll take, well, I, I got to hold these. What I don't want to do is give Jim a little bit of time, and I want to hear what Jim has to say. So we'll do that coming up, uh, in the three o'clock hour, we'll make way for the news and, and, uh, and come back with calls and texts eight hundred, eight, five, nine, zero, nine, five, seven, eight hundred, eight, five, nine, zero, WJR also coming up in the three o'clock hour. Could you cut up on a couple of stories? But this story about, uh, morning Joe on MSNBC, reaching out to Donald Trump and then going to meet with him at Mar-a-Lago, um, they're getting absolutely roasted by the left and by Democrats. But isn't this something that should happen? Yeah. We'll talk about that coming up in the three o'clock hour here on Jay afternoon. All right, three o'clock hour. It is good to have you. Lots to do still, but, uh, wanted to let you know the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, they're out on the Lost Christmas Eve winner tour and you could see him at the tour stop of your choice. Score two premium tickets to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert of your choice with flights, a three night hotel stay and a thousand dollar gift card for holiday shopping, prize provided by wild child touring to enter for your chance to win Texas hours, national keyword, flash, flash to 95819. Uh, for full details and official contest rules, visit wjr.com. Uh, a couple of things just to keep you updated on, uh, this afternoon. Um, the victim's families of the Oxford school shooting is once again requesting an independent investigation. The attorney general Dana Nassau has come out and said that her office will launch a state led probe into the attack that happened nearly three years ago. But she says they still lack what they need from local officials, including the prosecutor and the sheriff to take over the case. But Karen McDonald, the Oakland County prosecutor, says that they have done extensive, uh, investigations into this. And according to a McDonald legal opinion that the attorney general's office has the power to open an investigation into potential criminal acts of school employees in connection with the attack using subpoena power, saying in this opinion that based on the research performed by a, by my office, including the legal authority cited below, it is the opinion of the Oakland County prosecuting attorney that the Michigan attorney general has the authority to conduct such an investigation, regardless of invitation. We have found that the authority of the attorney general is broad in scope. And this authority includes the power to investigate potential violations of Michigan law. So Karen McDonald lobbying this back into the lap of Dana Nassau, uh, we'll see where, where that goes from here. Also, President Joe Biden has authorized Ukraine use long range missiles provided by the United States to be used deep inside Russia in the curse territory. This has been a red line of the administration that, that Ukraine and its military forces not use US assets, US missiles, missiles, US aid, US munitions, inside Russian territory. But now Moscow deploying 50,000 troops to that border region of Ukraine. And of course, South Korea sending troops or excuse me, North Korea sending troops to Russia to aid the Russian army has escalated this certainly in the region. And now Joe Biden saying that the that the Ukrainian army may use those missiles inside Russian territory. Obviously, the Kremlin pushing back against that. Donald Trump, meanwhile, President elect is refusing to back down over his cabinet picks. Despite the some out of the box thinking, despite some names that maybe weren't really rumored to be part of his cabinet, uh, including Matt Gates, Pete Hegsyth, a couple of just to name a few. Um, but Donald Trump, keeping his nose to the grindstone, uh, and, uh, and trying to get his, uh, his people through the process. Uh, meanwhile, a historic moment for hundreds of core well health nurses, they have in favor of unionizing, giving them the right to bargain over wages, benefits, staffing ratios, and more WJR senior news analyst Marie Osborne has more on that story. Good afternoon, Marie. Hi, Chris. So this new bargaining unit will encompass more than 9,600 full time and regular part time nurses. This is according to the National Labor Relations Board. It is one of the largest such elections in more than 20 years. Now, as far as core well, health goes, they say in a statement, we value all of our nurses and are committed to moving forward together, united by our mission to provide high quality care to our patients in the communities we serve. Mandatory staffing levels for nursing has also been a very controversial and pivotal issue in all of this. Last year, nursing groups and hospital administrators battled over proposed legislation in Lansing that would have required certain nurse to staff ratios. Those in favor of requiring these staffing staffing levels say it's only going to improve patient care. The administrators on the other hand say that these type of mandates would be unwieldy and financially ruinous and reduce patient access. The union will consist of health professionals such as contingent nurses, flex nurses, charge nurses at nine core well locations, Dearborn Farmington Hills, Gross Point Royal Oak, Taylor Trenton Troy and Wayne, and Chris with a union staff ratio caps would be among the bargaining unit's top priorities. Yeah, and this would be a huge deal for the worker, certainly at core well, we'll continue to watch it. Marie, thanks so much. Thank you. All right, I want to get back to your calls 800-859-0957. Let's go to Jim in Clinton Township. What's up, Jim? Great show as always, Chris. Hey, thanks. Yeah, the only reason that Biden is providing long-range weapons and allowing them to be shot into Russia is basically to get the United States into a war during the Trump administration trying to make him look bad. Okay, but let me ask you this though, Donald Trump isn't right. He can't run again. Like I don't understand the reason if this is supposed to be like a black eye on Donald Trump or a ding on his record. I mean, it's very obvious that he's not in charge yet. So I just I don't understand why you make that decision now unless something drastic has changed, like unless like there is a full-on escalation in this thing beyond what we're already seeing. I just I don't know why you want to put that on Donald Trump when the long-term prognosis of Donald Trump is he's foreign out here. Yeah, I mean, you know, it could be Donald Trump as well as a Republican party. Yeah, it could be. Just to move by the left, the left didn't do anything wrong and the right got us into this war. All right. Interesting thought. Thank you, Jim. Appreciate you. Let's go to Ken and Detroit. What's up, Kenny? Hi. Thank you for taking my call, Chris. I think Biden's a late thing of sending these missiles into or he was missiles into Russia. It's the most reckless thing. I think by next month, he might be in a general European war because it's so foolish and reckless. And I think always try to do with trying to sabotage Trump because he knows we get to the U.S. and bow. You know, we have to respond and stuff like that. It'd be very hard from the end of war. I think he's trying to deliberately trying to wreck the thing. And that's- What do you think of Putin's position is on this? I think he's going to take strong action. I think, you know, he's going to, you know, react to it. He's trying to free his territory. You know, send these missiles directly to the territory that's occupied by Ukraine. The Russian territories occupied Ukraine. And so I think he's going to take strong action the existence of Russia's again become threatened. That's what he- So this worries you. Pardon me? This worries you. You're worried about this? Yes. I mean, you know, I think it's very reckless. Yeah. And you know, it's unfortunate too. This whole Ukrainian thing is brought about by a person named Victoria Luland. Luland, I don't know if you heard of her, Victoria Luland. Is it the State Department? Mm-hmm. Yeah. She, you know, helped overthrow the Democratic- You're occurring in government because it's too pro-Russian. And with the help of some fascists in that, you know, in their- Well, I mean, look, I think a lot of this, and can I appreciate the call, a lot of this stems from the fact that, you know, Ukraine came knocking on NATO's door wanting to join. And there was, I mean, you go back many years to even when NATO was formed, that they weren't even going to push as far as they did. And now with Ukraine wanting to be a part of NATO on the border of Russia, Russia feels like that that's a step too far. And the fact that NATO has even really even taken a beat on this, the fact that they've even thought about it, I think pushes Russia to act. Now, I don't think that anybody should allow Russia to just try to steamroll a country or go in and use deadly force. That's not the case. But I think it would probably behoove NATO to just put the kibosh on the fact that Ukraine would be a NATO ally or a part of the alliance. And they just haven't done it yet. And I think that the longer that this remains in limbo, the longer that these hostilities will continue. And right wrong or indifferent. I think that plays a huge part in it. All right, we'll take a break. Come back for more more of your calls, your texts coming up. Also thoughts on the morning Joe meeting with Donald Trump out in Mar-a-Lago. It's next on Jay afternoon. So, you know, I have, I've been critical of a lot of the, the national media. Because I don't, I think they lie to you half the time. First of all, are they true news outlets? Probably not. Feels like they're more opinion news outlets. And I think they masquerade under a different umbrella. And it's, to me, it's a, it's problematic when you're trying to inform people and people spend so much time on these networks. And they, and they really trust them to give them information when in reality, a lot of the times it's, it's, it's just people, you know, shooting the breeze. They're just talking about things and giving them, you know, their opinion. Now, what I think is proper is when there is a change of administration or when there is a change on the political landscape, that these, that these outlets make the effort to talk to or, or to, or to have that line of dialogue with an incoming administration. And that's where we found ourselves with morning Joe, uh, Miga Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough on MSNBC. The problem is here. So they, they announced today that they reached out to Donald Trump and they were invited to Mar-a-Lago to have a sit down and they, they talked about a whole host of issues. A lot of things that they just, of course, didn't agree with. No, we talked about all the issues. All right, we got a couple of things planned there. So here's the thing. So they talked about immigration. They talked about a whole host of things that, of course, they didn't agree on, but they did come to the agreeance that, that they would continue to talk. And Donald Trump has said, uh, in a story published to Fox News today that I'm not looking for retribution, grandstanding, or to destroy people who treated me unfairly when it comes to the media saying that the media is vital to make America great again and vows to work with a free, fair and open press. And he said, uh, in this interview with, with Fox Digital that he is an obligation to the American people to work with the press, even those who treated him, uh, badly beyond comprehension. He said, in order to make America great, great again, it is very important, if not vital, to have a free, fair and open media or press. And this came as, of course, he got a call from the morning Joe folks. He said, I received a call from Joe Scarborough requesting a meeting, uh, with he and Minka. And I agree that it would be a good thing if such a meeting took place. We met at Mar-a-Lago Friday morning at eight o'clock. Uh, and he said it was extremely cordial. He said they discussed a whole host of things. I very much appreciate the fact that they wanted to have an open communication. In many ways, it's too bad that it wasn't done long ago. Uh, he said, uh, Donald Trump said that they congratulated me on running a great and flawless campaign, one for the history books, which I really believed it was. But it was also a campaign where I worked long and hard, perhaps longer and harder than any president, presidential candidate in history. We talked about various cabinet members, both announced and to be announced as expected. They liked some very much, but not all the meeting ended on a very positive manner. And we agreed to speak in the future. Okay. So I think it's great that Joe Scarborough and mega presents he reach out and say, Hey, let's open up this, this line of communication. The problem is, is the dialogue beforehand. The problem is, is the, is the way that they painted Donald Trump. Now you can have an opinion on Donald Trump. That's fine. But they, like many in the media, we're, we're parroting a lot of the same things, right? This guy's Hitler. He's a threat to democracy. He can't be trusted. Maybe he's going to be a dictator or a king and yada, yada, yada. And yet they go out and make the effort again, understandably. And I appreciate that. But what's driving it? Is it really this magnanimous way of going about and really doing the best for their audience? Or is there something else at play? Because I could, I'd like to just throw this into the mix. If you go back and, and to October, the average viewer, for example, for the Rachel Maddow show, prime time on MSNBC was around 2.3 million people, 2.3 million people. The day that Rachel Maddow gave her monologue after the election, the Wednesday after the election, she drew 1.3 million people. So you're, you're in your prime time slot, your audience gets cut in half. As a matter of fact, a lot of the viewership that NBC has lost Fox News has gained. Fox's audience has grown 21% since last Wednesday, since the day, or excuse me, the day after the election. Their average is up to 3.3 million viewers. That's according to Nielsen. So my question is, are they doing this because they feel that there is a duty to you as the American voter, to you as a news consumer, or are they doing it because they are hemorrhaging eyeballs, that they are losing people. And as a result, they want to, I don't know, be in the good graces of Donald Trump, or they want to, to court Donald Trump viewers. I don't know. And that's where I, I'm asking you, what is it? Is it truly a selfless act as a, as a way to provide the American people and you better information or a more comprehensive view on the political landscape? Or are they just worried that they've lost half their audience? 808590957, 8085900WJ. Because I'll be honest with you, it, it doesn't really feel like they're doing this out of the kindness of their heart. It, it, it feels like there is something else at play here. And I think it's more, I think it's a money thing. I think it's a money game. I think it's the fact that they're losing people, which means there isn't as much money to be made. But they did say that no matter what the conversation was with Donald Trump, they will continue to speak truth to power. As for us, we also let him know that we will continue to speak truth to power and push back hard when called for as we have with all presidents. Don't be mistaken. We're not here to defend or normalize Donald Trump. We're here to report on him and to hopefully provide you insights that are going to better equip all of us in understanding these deeply unsettling times. And I am reminded of what Marty Barron, legendary editor told his Washington Post reporters back in the first term. We're not going to war. We're going to work. So is it truly altruistic? Or is it, is it just a money game? 800-859-0957, 800-859-0, WJR. I want to get your thoughts on it. And we have a whole bunch of other calls in the hopper on Donald Trump and the cabinet and, and, and now Joe Biden authorizing long range U.S. supplied missiles to Ukraine to be used in Russia. And, and, and the ramifications of that as we are now just almost two months away from inauguration day. 800-859-0957, 800-859-0, WJR. I've got one line open if you want it. We'll get to your calls, your text coming up on the other side. And, and just this idea of morning Joe meeting with Donald Trump, love the idea of meeting with Donald Trump, but is it selfless or is there something else at play? 800-859-0957, it's Jair afternoon. All right, right to the lines, 800-859-0957, Greg Zidlondon, Ontario. What's up, G? Hey, Chris. I just wanted to comment on Biden's decision. But before that, I'm glad Democratic Dave called in. I was getting a little worried. I didn't hear from him for a while and still looks like sounds like he's a little bit undeniable. It really happened. But if I want to say on that, yeah, it's in terms of Biden. He hit he to be his credit. He did admit Donald Trump one big. He did. Oh, he did. Yeah, he did. He did. Okay. Well, progress, progress. Hey, so, uh, yeah, you know, so we've all been watching this radical love Biden administration for four years. And I liked a lot of your other callers who called him previously on this topic. There in my view, they're sticking it to Trump. They're just making it as difficult as possible for Trump to negotiate a peak deal. Like why and just on their track record alone of what they've done to Trump and how they've gone after him. This is no surprise because this is their mentality. Now, it's a dangerous mentality. And I can't further, like other people are stymied. Why would you set the fireworks off now? Why would you do it now? Wow. The reason is pretty obvious in my mind too, right? Like they're like, they're light in this wick. Do they even realize the potential danger of what they've just done here to escalate this? I don't know. I guess I don't know. And, and look, you make an interesting point. Does this make things harder for Donald Trump to negotiate when he gets in office? It's a fair question. And, and, and I don't know the answer to that. And it might be, it might not be because Donald Trump can roll in and say, look, I don't know what this guy did. I don't know what he was doing, but we're not going to do this anymore. We're going to make sure that whatever we gave them, uh, does not get fired into Russia and that they can't use those munitions inside Russian territory. And we're going to dial this thing back. It's possible. It's possible, but doesn't make things harder? Sure. It could. We really won't know until he takes office. Greg, I appreciate the call. Thank you. It's got a William and River Rouge. What's up, Will? Hey, Chris, how you doing today, buddy? I hope we got a good connection. I'd like to comment on a couple things that the guy can only do one. No, go ahead. What do you got? What do you got? Well, what's your, uh, what's work they were talking about with Bush or Biden going ahead and telling Ukraine to go ahead and use these weapons and possibly drawing us into a confrontation into the confrontation? Is there not a something in the government law that says that if we are, we go to war that we they can stop the transfer of power and maybe that's his thing. No, whoever. No, okay. No, no, it's happening. That that that that that that that that train doesn't stop. Okay, great. I understand that. Okay, that's that's good. Um, now I forgot what I want, but we were what else we were just talking about in our callbacks one of a time, but I appreciate you taking my time, Chris. Thank you. You got it, my friend. Appreciate you. Let's go to Denny and Marblehead. What's up, Denny? Hey, Chris. Glad to talk to you again. Love your show. Thank you. Hey, my comment was, um, Presency and Rachel Maddow. There's fine. Well, ratings rule. Am I correct? Mm hmm. So they're losing money. And they finally realize the American mainstream public is not drinking the Kool-Aid anymore. No, and Denny here, but here's the problem is like they've already like they are an established brand that has positioned themselves to cater to one group of people, right? To cater to a certain mentality. It's like it's why, first of all, I would never do it, but it's why I don't come on the air and just take one position because that's ridiculous. I want everybody to be able to listen to the show, feel like they got some information. Hopefully you had a little fun and we can all have a conversation. Like, I don't, I agree. I don't want to alienate anybody. I want to have a free flow of thought and to have everybody on to talk about a whole host of issues. Like, to me, when you position yourself to one group, it's really hard to stay afloat when your base, when your viewership leaves. So I have a hard time disagreeing with you to feel like I don't think that they're necessarily catering to you as a viewer. I think they're worried about their bottom line. I agree. Yes. And to your credit and all your hosts on WGR, you're all well-rounded. Sure. You state both, you state both sides of the story and I respect that. Yeah. I mean, I just, I don't, I, I think there's a lot more than just one side of a story. So I appreciate it. I agree. I appreciate you, Denny. Thank you, my friend. All right. All right. Yep. You got it. Let's go to Rosemary and Porte here on What's Up Rosemary. Yes. I want to say that Donald Trump was elected long slide and the people he's picking are good, are good. They're not politicians because politicians don't know what they're talking about and look how they're acting. I mean, a lot of them are politicians, though. I mean, a lot of them are, you know what I mean? They can, they can say for their nose. He did good for four years. He wants to bring our country back and he's trying to be nice. He wants to be, to be nice or to be, you got to be good to everybody. That's what he's trying to do. Yeah. We all have our pulse and he knows sometimes we make mistake. You know how to correct it. You learn from it. And that's, I think he's doing with these people. They know they can correct it. And he's trying to be trying to make our country back to everybody so we can be peaceful where the Democrats were so evil kept crucifying him. They're still doing that. And that's not right. That's not being Christian and our country is meant to be Christian and be good people. And Rosemary, I mean, look, we have a, we have a differing viewpoint on a lot of things. And I think where it got out of control is where we stop talking about the issues and we just start talking about a guy and what we think of a guy. He's a reason why we're here. And we should talk about him. And I think that's where Donald Trump is a good Christian where other ones were not bearing God. And that's wrong. Well, look, and I appreciate the call Rosemary. I think people have differing religious perspectives. And that's great. It's one of the things that makes America great. What I think is where I think the left failed is that they didn't adequately, they didn't speak to the American people the way that the right did. Which is, I mean, it's the truth. They didn't, they didn't talk about the issues the way Donald Trump was. They didn't talk about the issue. They, they talked about them on a different level. Like, I don't know what you're talking about. The economy is great. That's not what people are feeling when you go to the grocery store. That the immigration is, is not a crisis. It's, it's a problem, but we're going to fix it. We're going to bring back legislation and fix it instead of saying, we shouldn't have let it get out of control in the first place. And, and, and that's where Donald Trump, I think, made his inroads is Donald Trump just said, look, I don't care what the, what they say. You're still hurting. The middle class is shrinking. And, and, and trying to appeal to the, to the elites is what the Republicans used to do. It's what they didn't do now. It's what they didn't do in this election. It's what the Democrats did. And so when you, when you become out of touch with a, a huge group of people that say, well, you're, you're telling me something that I'm not feeling, then there is a, there is a fissure. There is a gap. And that's where I think a lot of people found themselves. 800-859-0957, we'll get to more of your calls. I got one light open coming up next, 800-859-0 WJR. It's your afternoon. All right. We got a bunch of stuff, uh, on the table for you. And, uh, we don't have a ton of time left, unfortunately. So I want to get to Jed in South Lyon. What's up, Jed? Oh, I was actually chipped if you're talking to me. Oh, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Okay. Go ahead. I've been call worse regarding morning Joe and his wife. It's obvious to me, in my opinion, that they were ordered to go down there. Said, you get your butt down there. You've talked too bad about this. When the ratings are in the tank, get your butt down there and you might save your job. And when you come back, you might still not have a job. And, uh, I mean, it correct me if I'm wrong, sir, but I think they got taken off the air one day. And my wife, when I was thinking, when was that? And I think it was after the assassination attempt at Butler. But I might be wrong on that. Because they're so radical. They might have talked in a very negative way after such a sensitive issue regarding our president. Yeah. And I mean, it's possible that that the higher up said you need to go down there. I mean, I would imagine that that that, I mean, look, the realities are this is the incoming administration. And they probably want to have some, some, some dialogue, some relationship with them so that they can gather information. But it just, it just, I don't know what the reason is when when they've been, you know, kind of, they've been talking about the same talking points that Democrats have used to talk about Donald Trump. So how do they change their view? I don't know. I don't know. I don't know that they do. Yeah. I appreciate the cars. I'm sorry about my cold. No, you're good. You're all good. Thank you, my friend. Appreciate you. God bless America. You do the same. Let's go to Steven Pinkney. He gets the final word. What's up, Steve? Hey, thanks for taking my call. Sure. So I am a conservative protest program pro-life and I voted for Trump three times. And I am just mystified that people that described themselves the same way as I do seem to have forgotten history and have forgotten Ronald Reagan, who is rolling over in his grave at hearing this talk about how he should just give up on, give up on Ukraine and let them be taken over. And you know, the argument by, and I was in the military for 28 years, the argument about Iraq and Afghanistan was that we were risking American lives and that they weren't doing enough for themselves that is not true in Ukraine. They want weapons. They want money. They want training. And Russia is indeed the evil empire, and that is what Putin wants to reconstitute. And then for this stupid argument about how Ukraine used to belong to Russia, well, what if Putin comes back and says, you know what, it was the czars who sold Alaska to America and, you know, we want Alaska back and it wasn't the Soviet Socialist Republic and it wasn't Russia. So Steve, I don't disagree with you. I don't disagree at all with you. I guess my point is what's changed. Why have they taken that that red line away? Oh, because the red line should have been taken away a long time ago. Okay, but it wasn't. So he did it now. So I guess my question is why? What changed? Oh, it is absolute politics. It is absolute politics, but I don't think that we should give Russia any kind of incentive to continue to attack. I agree. Don't you cream. No, no, I completely agree with you. I don't I don't think that and then remember it was and to Trump's credit, he actually gave more aid to Ukraine than Obama did. Obama gave him blankets, drunk as much as I thought he should have in his first term, but he did better than Obama and Biden was part of the Obama administration. So I can't tell you what's going on. These these people are crazy, but I do know the Russians are fricking evil. They're occupying parts of two countries. People forget about the country of Georgia and what happens next when they want it when they want their own land route to Carringrad. There is it should it should people should understand when Sweden and Finland join NATO, what a huge indication that right and the Donald Trump's credit, he gave the NATO allies. So so that Steve, let me ask you this. Should should should should NATO should NATO just say we are not accepting Ukraine into the Alliance. Would would would that change things here? No. Okay. All right. No. And then remember, Ukraine gave up their nuclear weapons because we influenced the war explicitly. We NATO said that we will defend Ukraine. Yes. Yeah. All right, Steve, I appreciate the call. Thank you. 808590957. Meanwhile, lions with a big dub over Jacksonville yesterday. What a day it was, Steve Courtney. No doubt about it. Chris, good afternoon to you, my friend. Hello again, everyone. This conversation brought you by the hardworking men and women at Bill Brown Ford. You know, my good friend, Matt Gaco and of course his team. They are doing great things for you each and every day. Make sure you drive with the champions at Bill Brown Ford, shop their Trueview inventory at bill brownford.com today. Christopher, nobody knows better than you there, Laddie. Every once in a while, in high school football, the JV scrimmages with the varsity. And the result is pretty much what we saw at four. Usually doesn't go well. Yeah. The lions all over the struggling Jacksonville Jaguars 52 to six. The writing was on the wall pretty much from the get go lions going 70 yards, nine plays without facing a single third down on their opening drive. They would finish the game with 38 count them 38 first downs, 644 yards of offense, the most yards in franchise history. All the tools participated, of course, and were effective. Jamir Gibbs, David Montgomery, Jared Goff ends with a perfect passer rating of 158.3. The only blemish here, linebacker Alex Anseloni became the latest defensive casualty, broke his forearm. He is going to be out six to eight weeks. But I know we're kind of pressed for time here, Chris. But listen, the bottom line is this, the lions in every aspect of the game playing scary good football, scary good football, KB thoughts. Yeah, it was the worst beating since I played Steve as gravel last week. Steve, I don't think we played Scrabble last week. But listen, Ken Brown was, was drinking last week. Who did Ken Brown play Scrabble with? You know, but I mean, you know, for this lions offense, you know, to, you know, come off that thrilling win in Houston. And listen, the Jaguars are just not a good team. Don Peterson, obviously, the coach, you're removed from the postseason. His heat seat is extremely hot right now. That being said, you play who's on the schedule. And you stay focused, you take care of your business. That's what the lions did. We fast forward up next at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis next Sunday at one o'clock. The lions have the five and six Colts as it stands right now. The lions favored by a mere seven. But all right. So let me ask you this. Let me ask you guys this. Is this team Super Bowl bound? Like, what are your feelings today? It's been a fail. It's been for the last year, this time, Billy was 11 and one. They lost the first round of playoff. It's a week to weeks boy. You got to keep going. They're on the path. They're on the path. But you got to go out and you perform. But I'll tell you what, if they go out and perform with the focus that they did yesterday, despite the opponent, you know, oh, and by the way, the Chiefs lost yesterday. So now all of a sudden, there's a tie a top for the El numero uno spotter that I don't football league. I just, yeah, I just, I don't care that that Jacksonville is whatever they are two and seven now or two and eight to two and 10. I don't care. They're still a pro team. You got to be healthy. And to do what you what they did yesterday is still going to be healthy going to playoffs. You want to get that by so you only have to play two games around before. So all these things matter. Look, they all matter. Seven weeks matter. They absolutely they do. What do we got? Hey, Steve, thank you, my friend. We'll talk tomorrow. I look forward to it. All right. What do we have coming up? Alexander's alone. We'll talk about him. Is he on? Yes, he'll be on a party. So listen up and we'll find out exactly what his prognosis is. All right. He had a pretty good mentality after the game too, which was cool. All right, Mitch, I'm the crew coming up. See you tomorrow. Same time. Same place.
