Impeachment managers walk two articles of impeachment against Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas across the Capitol to the Senate, forcing senators to convince being a trial in the allegations Mayorkas has willfully and systematically refused to enforce immigration laws. Democrats and the Senator expected to try to dismiss or table the charges later this week. House Speaker Mike Johnson says he won't resign after new calls from within his own party to step aside. They're not pleased with Johnson's support for more funding for Ukraine and Israel. A single vote margin at a difficult time when the nation is terribly divided. More potential jurors were sent home today. New York Mayor Eric Adams was at the courthouse. The city is a fair city and that's why they own a jury duty. Both sides decide and they interview and make that determination. That chair Jerome Powell says elevated inflation will likely delay interest rate cuts this year. Right now given the strength of the labor market and progress on inflation so far, it's appropriate to allow restrictive policy for their time to work and let the data and the evolving outlook guide us. A plan by Britain's government to introduce a landmark smoking man that aims to stop young people from ever smoking is set to clear its first hurdle on Tuesday despite vocal opposition from within Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's conservative party. The bill will make it illegal to sell tobacco products to anyone born after January 1, 2009. Authorities say that if passed, the bill will create modern Britain's first smoke-free generation. Under the tobacco and vape spill, children turning 15 this year or younger will never be legally sold tobacco. The legal age of sale will be gradually raised until it's eventually illegal completely.
