And when it comes to finding a gift for each other, you know, it could add up. But this year, while I was making my way through Walmart, I realized I don't have to spend a lot to get the gifts they'll love. And OPI mini-mani sets. I'm going to do so much nail art. Oh, damn! A LEGO set. My own a wall of water bottle. Ooh, and that's just half of them. What's up, great gifts there's sure to love for $25 and under at Walmart. Hello, good evening and welcome to the talk and cup. It is a member show. It's me, self-gav. It's the person that courses the most on the channel above everyone else. It's Chris who's fucking down on the dumb side with his Liverpool women's team. They're acting the bollocks to be fair. And it's Kev who's on his vape. I'm only pulled them up in like 40 seconds ago, he went, "You just can't all fuck off." So that's how we're going to start this show. But we're about six weeks out, I think, from the January transfer window, give or take. There is a couple of links coming in with regards to Liverpool and others around the lake. So we're going to have a look through some of the names and look, we mightn't believe that happening. We may believe that happening, but we'll talk about them as players and see what they actually fit into the Liverpool, what they'd be interested in and what would be cost and all that messing. We look around the lake as well, it's just any names that you're seeing coming up for Liverpool or other clubs, feel free to troll them in here and in with this customer at some stage. Chris, I'm going to start with you. It's six weeks before the transfer window starts and people are off and running fairly fast, in my opinion, like those names coming out of fucking everywhere. Yeah, yeah, let's be honest, I'm kind of more focused on the women's team, because it's been quite depressing. Yeah, that's what I'm not talking about. It's like the little men's team of the early '90s. But listen, only Liverpool could lose an away game at Goodison to attack a lot as one yard outside the box, which is quite impressive. I see a round back on this already, I think you said two yards to the day, but now it's one. Yeah, I've seen the picture right now. Next week it'll actually be inside the box. It plays a, you know, it's a bad decision when you get in the ground and you're going, "That doesn't look near the box." Yeah. And what's even funnier is the girl that gets the file away, she doesn't move from where she gets the file away, and she still stood outside the box, which kind of should say to you what's going on. Yeah, outside the box, buddy. Yeah. But, no, mind, I thought it was David Koot, refereeing. No, it won't be him. It definitely won't be him refereeing. If it is, it's, you're probably on some sort of drugs. It's over quieting him, innit? Anyway, we had three or four days of David Koot updates, and it's got quiet. I was just wondering if-- Probably how the rest of the information till March when we're on another international break. Yeah, pretty much it. Yeah. But yeah, it doesn't depend. Like, yeah, there's a few names starting to fly about, you know, Zubermendi's been mentioned again. Some lad from Subelia, which I messaged Kev good. Log, buddy. Is it Subelia? Yeah. And a bit of Koot's name keeps coming up, which I'll be honest, I'll be all over that, I thought it was real. I don't think it is, though, but I'll be all over it. Pology of Annises, Toram, Ramoush, Cherokee, Kirk-es, doesn't know what it's going to-- Chris, I suppose we should ask everyone this. I will ask everyone this, I'll start with Chris. We go into January. We know a position will end the league. That may change in the next, you know, six, eight weeks, six weeks, anyway, until the window opens. We could be still top. We could be forward ahead. We might be top. You never know what's going to happen, right? But just on what we have and what we're looking to get to, should Liverpool invest in January? Yes. And as a word, if we go back to what they said in the summer of this word, it's pissed everyone off, opportunistic. Well, there's an opportunity now to win a league title. You've got yourself a position where you're five points clear. You want to have a centre made in the summer, you didn't quite get it. So why would you not look to try and get one in January? Just to get-- it doesn't have to be a regular start, just someone where you're comfortable to use them in rotation. Because let's be honest, it doesn't like using Morton, apart from League Cup, and he only uses Endo in extreme last 15 minutes close a game out. So I do think you need another midfield option. It'd have to be a six. Even if you brought in a attack in mid who could do thehopper's lie role, then you could drop top line a bit deeper, just give you a rotation option. So I think minimum you need to add a midfielder, and then, you know, if you can add their full back, that's fine future planning, but I think midfield's most key position I would say. Yeah. A lot of people looking in on Liverpool are thinking, you know, and I agree, like there is an opportunity here to-- while you're on top to show people look, you know, we're going to add to this squad, we're going to add more quality to this squad from a good position. And I think that's fair, but actually, like, I'm presuming you think we should strengthen some way during the January window, but they had months to do this in the summer. And the opportunities are greatly lessened, in our great, greatly lessened, greatly reduced in the January window of the crowd. Yeah, the quality was, I thought it was quality myself. But it was, you know, January is a harder place to deal with deal than the summer. It is. Not aren't so much there, people don't want to let go players, they might be fighting them front for themselves. I feel like we're building up to something here where we go. We should definitely do something, and we all think they should, and they won't. And then it'll be like, ah, for example, because they can just have another four months until the next window opens, but you think we should strengthen as well, yeah? I feel like you're describing a typical FSU window. Yeah. Yeah. I think they should. I think looking back on the summer, one of the main kind of explanations that we got as fans was that Hughes hadn't had enough time and slot hadn't had enough time with his team to assess and that he wanted time with the team before he decided what he really wanted. And I think all of us kind of said, hey, that's, that's great and all, but we do have some glaring holes in our squad that that needs some addressing. I think what we've seen since then is that slot is a very adaptable coach, and even if he doesn't get what he wants, he can use the players that he has to get his system across or get his game plan across, but they've now had an additional, let's say, six months roughly to assess the squad and see exactly what shape it is in, and that excuse is no longer relevant. So if they do see places where they can improve, yeah, the January window is harder, but sometimes there are some opportunistic buys there. And I think that we have shown the benefit of bringing people in in January. I think we've, we saw what Louis, like, Louis D.S. did to that squad and he just reinvigorated it for the, the remainder of that season. I mean, we obviously know what Virgil has done. There have been opportunities in the January market. I don't know if it's going to be exactly what we need for, like, forward planning. I think it might be more opportunistic, but I think that there's space there for them to approve, and they have had the opportunity to figure out where they want to improve. And that's what, that's what I'm curious about. I don't, we can say what we think the squad needs, like, strengthening in, but I'm curious what slot thinks the slot, the squad needs strengthening in. It's kind of, it's interesting because, like, we look, we look at the summer and they bring in Kia's and lay on and there was talk of, you know, opportunity and it wouldn't be, it wouldn't be a busy July and we were expecting a busy August and it didn't happen and look we're all on record here going, we definitely needed one more. We definitely needed one more if not two. Now, people that, anyone that's watched Liverpool play football in the last three or four months ago, yeah, but look how good we're doing and that's a really good point, you know, that could back up the argument that you shouldn't have done anything in January and it would lead you on to believe that, look, they didn't do anything in the summer, they were happy with the squad, look how well it's gone. This is a reason why they probably shouldn't or wouldn't do anything in January, but it's interesting, actually says something there, assess and they have us, they are assessing what's going on. So it's not beyond the realms of possibility that the are assessing and going, yeah, we're getting through games, we're winning games, we're playing really well, we're getting better at all the different elements we want to bring in, but after assessing it, we probably do need one more, you know, I don't think that's even in question. I think Chris hit the nail on the head with, you can look at the amount of minutes that Morton and Endo have given you in the season so far, compared that to everyone else and you see that the manager either doesn't trust them fully or he's unwilling to use them in certain games, in certain scenarios. So I definitely think there's a case to bring in a midfielder, I think that's an old brain, I think everyone will be on that ball. So it's just a case of what type of midfielder do you want to bring in and what do you want that midfielder to be able to do, do you want a jack of all trades, do you want an attack in midfielder that you can maybe look to convert someone else into an all rounder, what do you want to do and you also have to take into consideration the three contracts that are outstanding that we know of and how are you going to do to deal with that and still come on the UEFA's cap of 70% overall spending for the 25/6 season. So it's not as simple as saying, yeah, let's just go and get X player because it would be nice to add them to the squad. They have to assess the whole picture and I think at the minute we got under the limit of where we needed to be for Europe but it all depends on how any new contracts would affect that, any new staff members coming in affect that, any new signings without outgoings affect that because nobody saw any of their competitors in January. I think we'll be okay too. I think you'll be a factor, I think you'll be a factor in that I think the staff that have left the club on the non-playing staff, I think their salaries would dwarf the salaries that you've brought in and the non-playing. I think the fact that they've sold on a couple of youngsters a decent money, we'll buy back some for that but with decent money, they've done that as well plus Chris was saying earlier, it was a good point in Maryland and he said, yeah, but last year was a year of Europa League money, the Champions League, so we've actually gone up in the amount we've earned and probably brought down the amount of spend, do you know what I mean? The flip side of that is if we have to go out in the summer and replace any one or two or potentially three of the big three, then you have to be able to do that with a serious amount of money knowing that you're not getting any in for any of them and that could be extremely difficult. So what could you argue in that situation was there in the summer because it doesn't matter. We wanted to pay six, no it was in, we wanted to still pay 60 million for a Zubermendy while still having the potential of three of them, but that's on the previous year's accounts. That situation is not going to get any better in the summer, because we have additional contracts that need renewal that are big deal contracts, like Kanate needs renewal. Exactly. Yes, yes, yes. I mean, I don't think Robertson and maybe color her. I don't think they will get new deals, but those deals keep rolling, so you can't push this down. It's always evolving. It's always going to be a rolling rock that you're going to have to balance your books. I think we're in a really healthy position compared to a lot of other clubs, so there might be opportunistic deals available that could come out of nowhere. We don't know. So you hope that Richard used to know, he's got his feet on the table. He's only, he was only in the door five minutes in the summer. He's now looked in slot and the rest of the team have looked at what they have. They've also must have been looking at the market that's out there and what's potentially available with the accounts, what can be done and to what level can we go to. Do we need to be looking at deals like, there was one mentioned earlier, there's a name that we'll get to know that in carcass. The rumor going around about him is that they're looking to try to do a deal for him now for the summer, similar to what they've done with Mamadash really. It's like, they don't need him now, but if you're going to be losing one of Robertson or Simikas, you want that in the bag, don't dust it, to come in and start a preseason. If you can do it now out the way where other clubs are in such a financial mess, that they can't act at the minute. You can sneak ahead of the market unless Borma for the club will say, no, we'll roll our dice in the summer and get the best possible prize for our player, which is what could happen as well. But I definitely think we should be bringing in a centimetre, not a six, but I think you should be looking to bring in a centre-made who can do a defensive roll as well as someone who can come in and play maybe in a double six. Well, I'm going to tell you, I watched a guy later in the season for 24 minutes. I was about six points deep at the time, and I'm going to tell you, if we should go on selling the ladder of Brighton, called Belabor. He is a joke, like, honestly, I'm half messing here and I'm half-knock. I watched them early game, the second week of the season, you know, the way up Brighton. I think it was. Yeah. And you know, it should win the game, do the better sort, the way the better sort, the more chances they kill Brighton on the break on the only occasions. And this guy comes out half the time and you're like, what is this? He was fucking everywhere. He's on the ball, off the ball chasing, running with a skid-a-la and I said, who is this guy? And I remember a couple of days later, I mentioned his name to Keith and he just went, oh, Belabor. Oh, like, he's fucking brilliant. Now, that's another name that's out there. A couple of things, though, it's interesting, my job says she doesn't feel a slant might be in the position to, or to be established enough to be demanding players. The club would be hoping to contract extensions instead. And apologies if I only asked if you were to, you know, I get my just point, but slats coming in and all these contracts are there, so they should really have a plan and it should going to be pushing on, like, if they're leaving, I need fucking these players, you know what I mean? That's fairly straightforward. I kind of understand how, you know, demanding players in January were much on the sort of these contracts out, but, and Paul mentioned in that which, Paul says, which would you take two or three of those players to sign are a couple of new players? I don't think there'd be need to be, you know, I don't think there'd be related to it. Like, what you do, what you do with these three contracts, okay, is, you'll still need that, but you're not going to replace versions of Android, Trend Alexander, or Mohammed Salah in January. You're not? No. Because they need to bring players in to sit there and do nothing for six months because these guys are going to play till the last whistle of the season. This is where the summer comes and hopefully we don't have to, hopefully the soil and stuff like that, but you have to, you have to go along and presume that these three guys are in the squad, which they are. They're going to be in the squad at the end of the season at the very least. So the signings is a, is a solid issue, do you know what I mean? My, my, my own thing on it is it's not a case of let's sign somebody to say we've signed somebody. I think you still have to go along with, and I'm nearly afraid to say this because people have jumped at me told, but you nearly need to go along with the same kind of, um, template that Liverpool have for quote, you know, good couple of years. Like the Caric has one way, makes sense if you want to do something for the summer, but you need to go with the template of if he's coming in in January, when you make a January signing, it's not usually a filler signing. It's not one where you go. I bring him in just to fill in the squad. It happens to the autumn, but it's usually from teams that are struggling, you know, and he wants to bring in someone in an extra body and see what I'm, but when you're also getting the great, you're looking at the very young crumb camp we brought in January. Yeah. But I'm thinking, I'm thinking of things like when you know it brought in and was a sabote that he brought in and I think we've been in, in January and, and things like that, and you're going to go, he's not going to stay there. He's going to go. I think when you come to January, Liverpool need to be picking and going. There is their tag. Can we get him in January? If we can, we go for it. Like Zuba men, do you think it's the perfect case because he's having a nightmare or associate that, I don't have an nightmare from us last night, I checked anyways, but those mountains know, so, you know, we might not lose mountains and diesel field. But you know what I'm saying? Liverpool shouldn't be gone. Ah, look at him over there. He's available. Let's do it. Because it's another body in January. Liverpool don't walk like that. And you can't walk like that. If you're going on the financial parameters of what you're all talking about there, you can't just bring a fella in and go, ah, just bring him in because, you know, Liverpool have plenty, Liverpool should have plenty of money there to spend on players, but yeah, you have to 70% of your all your income can only be spent on players transfers on wages, which... An agent fees. Oh, an agent fees, yeah, of course. So, agents are going to suffer here. No. One, one thing about the legal role. Sorry, I mean, I apologize. I've been, I've been struggling badly with a coffee as the enemy of the whole head is just the gun, all the field is just falling out of my head. Okay. It's the only way I can pour it. Right. Sorry. But look, they got him in from Lille, and sorry, yeah, from Lille. He's played nine games this season. He's not an ever-present in the Brighton side, but he does look the part, definitely. All action runs a lot and gets about the pitch. Transfer market have them at a value of 22 million euro. There isn't a snowball chance in hell. He's moving from Brighton or 22 million euro. The hope would be that because he came from such a low base, I mean, transfer market have him here at 19 at Lille at $5 million. First year of Brighton at 19, he was 20 million euro. He's the only gun of 22 million. The hope would be that he'd have a reasonable buyout clause that we could maybe trigger before the start of the next season, before he turns 21. He's 20 at the minute, you know. So it could be one of those opportunistic signings, if everything, if the star is aligned. I think he would probably be the type of player who you could mold to be anything you want, and maybe it's a case the slot would trust him, someone like him more, as he wants to develop him, then he does endo, which he's looking at and goes, "I can't do anything more than what you've already got in the tank." What endo is, is what he's got at, and that's it. I don't think you've got to get anything better from him, but whereas if you get someone like Belaiba at a good fee, at the right fee, and put them on a long contract, there's just something you can work with. It's not a signing for now, it's a signing for maybe a year's time, but you can work with him. The sooner you get him in the door, the sooner you can work with him, but I think the longer you leave a player like him in the way he goes, his value is just going to go that way. I think with the looks of Belaiba, and honestly, I've seen 24 minutes on plan, I just thought he's the best midfielder in the world. I watched him a bit this season, he's good. It's great to get sitting. The thing is, he feels like a player that you have to just cooperate in half of the cross here. You know what I mean? If I go listen, before this could tear our hand, there's 50 million quid, and we're willing to take that risk. Just quickly around the table, Kerke has because it comes up it's been up since he arrived in the Premier League, really. He looks a really good talent, I left back, he's up and down, he's a good footballer, and that's why he's a good footballer. He's not just an engine, engine, engine, he's technically a good player. Do we see Liverpool making the meal for Caracas, because I don't think he lasts beyond the season up, but I don't see him January, I see it as a summer signing, and then you tell Robertson, you use Robertson as your backup, so he proceeds out his last two years. I say he's a backup, he has a rotation option, and I know even though I'm not cost as big as fan, because the way he's played this year, you probably will get a decent fee for him, because he's played well this year, he's got to go crossing him, and I think you'll get an opportune price, because it also goes younger. But I like the idea of trying to get it sorted for the summer, as in you buy him in January, but you don't see him till the summer, I quite like that way of future planning. Actually, Caracas, do you think that's one that Liverpool will look at? Yeah, do you think there's any kind of the way behind this link? I mean, if they're planning on future-proofing, I can see it, I don't see it happening in January where he arrives in January, I think you know, Swat hasn't shown any desire to stockpile players in certain positions, obviously he hasn't been here very long, but I don't think it would make any sense with the current players that we have, I think it makes sense doing a deal now that we then get in the summer, I think that does make sense, you know, whether it's him or it's someone else I don't know, you know, I think that there's obviously the links between Hughes and Bournemouth, so if you can play on that while you have that, I could see it working, but that's not the area that I'm like, this is urgent right now, that's future-proofing to me. Yeah, I think, I agree with you, I think the left-back spot overall is being covered well this season, I think, you know, I don't really go too deep into whatever, I have concerns about the left-backs and different players in this system, but that's just me, Kev, you know, Sam says they're out and already and characters are the two top left-back targets in his opinion, beating his characters favorite, sorry, the beating in Kirk has a favorite, it's Bournemouth's attacking style which suits Airplay more and yields as links to Bournemouth and also the suburbs' voice/hungry link, and you think there's a way to this level? Big time, look, he was probably one of the first names that I said when we started doing transfer shows in the summer that I wanted in, he was at Azet-Outmar in 2020-2022 before he went to Bournemouth, everything about him tells me he's on an upper trajectory, I would go near 8, near 8, near 8 with a basketball, to be honest, I don't like him, I think he's fine as a wingback, he's not like you either. That's fair enough, but he's entitled to his opinion, he's wrong, but look, he's a wingback. The thing is, I don't like wingbacks who try to be fullbacks, they're not, there's a big difference between the two positions, Kirk has his a fullback, and he's a fullback, he's got a great engine, and I think he suits what Arislott wants to do better than what we have at the moment, I think he's the kind of player you bring in and you start seeing him in October and I don't think you turn back, I think he's gonna be, he could be your fullback for the next decade, no problem. No, I just look at it, I mean, I cannot see it downside to that sign, I can't, I just, you'll get a fee for, I'll keep Robertson because I wouldn't want to disrupt the leadership group depending on what happens with the others, but it's, I would look at trying to get a fee for a class that's wild yarns off. I think, I think if you get, I think you're probably looking at a 24 million pound out layer on this player, after you, you know, if you're balancing him and if you balance the, the semikast fee, which is probably 15 to 20 million, and the care cares fee, because care cares, I think you're looking, I think he commands somewhere between possibly 24 and 44 million, I genuinely believe that. Well, a barrier, you could look at Matson that went to, from Dork, yeah, 35 million pounds, I think. So I expect Kirk has to go anywhere around that, yeah. I think that's out of the way. Yeah, I think, I think the fact that in the summary, we're probably looking at around 20 million pounds from, and I think the stock is only rising. Yeah, so you're probably looking at another, you know, probably looking around 40 to 50 percent on top of that, you know what I mean? Yeah. He possibly are. Actually, a couple of names, right? Because we do, we do see links coming in, and as soon as you see a link, you're going to go on, Oh, he plays in most health position, or he plays in various health positions. So to that, I've kind of popped up, but three, and if you've any more, feel free to try to make me. But the ones I've noticed is that I sent a half load body from Sevilla, and then for this Roy Wing links are Mamoush, who's having a lovely time in Germany, isn't he? And that's all in all where, I mean, he's Egyptian, and he plays in Germany. Don't ask me anything else. I was too busy watching Belaiba, and then, and killed us, of course, at West Ham, who looks at Diamond of a player to enable, then he went to try to fight the whole attack on Marsmore, a couple of weeks ago, which was, which was the crack. But actually, these names are coming up, and you don't know whether to believe them, because a lot of this fellas coming in, is this fella not signing a deal? Blah, blah, blah. Do you see anything in order of this? I can see some in the center half, but not necessarily on the verge of undi-soy the things. But do you see anything in order of them? I mean, I think the center half they're looking at, he's like 24 years old. If they wanted to sign someone as a project to sort of carefully ease into the team, I could see it. I have not watched him personally, so I can't speak to his talents, or what he brings to a team. I mean, it looks like he'd be right around 20 million is what his current value is. So if you think that you see enough in him to go for that, that would be a good price, I think. The other one that I've seen floating around today is a lot is Turkey, which I think that that has to do with Leon having technical issues. Yeah, Leon are being basically told if they don't pay their debts for the end of the season, they're being relegated regardless of where they finish. That's it. They're gone. So that's the other name that I've seen floating around personally. I mean, so much of it is very hard this early. I know I'm saying this early and the window opens in about a month, but I feel like Liverpool is a lot of times used as a leverage name when it comes to these and I can't look at them seriously. I can't look at them seriously right now, and unfortunately with Liverpool, I think so much of it is done behind the scenes that all of this is speculation. I mean, do I think that Turkey is a necessary addition to our team? Not really, but could I see Liverpool doing it because it's opportunistic? Maybe. But that's the kind of thing that I think that maybe they would jump on in January is some sort of outside influence opportunistic signing like him where they could grab him for cheap. Wait, wait, wait, wait. He is. I think he's about eight goals and about 150 games. I don't think we need him, but again, like that's the link that I've seen today. I mean, I personally don't think that that's our area of weakness, but yeah, I don't know. Chris, my moosh is, you know, we've we've gone through the kudos thing, and I think this boy out clause might might explore. I might have explored in the summer. I'm not too sure, but this lad my moosh, a lot of people are really, really impersonal. I haven't seen the fan. If I've seen a fellow playing a minute football, I must have been walking by the Italian and happened to be on because I haven't seen him play football, right? But loads of people going on about this guy, he's Egyptian, you know, winger, low, these numbers are insane. Is he a winger or is he a nut? I think he's played the wing, but I think this season he's been playing more. Yeah, but he's been playing more central issue, which is probably why he's getting the goals. Yeah. Well, I was, he's not doing, he's not doing the most salad. Yeah, why couldn't he doing that? He's doing it more as a central, like a jotter type. Yeah, when I when I've read about, I've read that he's a winger. I could be wrong, right? And the right wing and stuff like that. Maybe he's the owner to the center. Does it feel just like a link? Like he's just, he's Egyptian and he's Egyptian. And he's doing really well. And he's most made. I think it's one of those. That what it feels like? It does. It just feels like it's an easy link. It'll get clicked. It'll get a few papers sold. Papers are still sold these days. That's it. I mean, listen, well, hold on. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Care cares I've bar marked as a free agent in 2025. Yeah. You're shit. No, that's what it says. Ah, that can't be true. Are you doubting Ashley's knowledge? No, that's just ridiculous. I'll double check. It's who you're being a parmered. You said this is only a second season, isn't it? Yeah, true season. Well, that's amazing to you. If that's the case, like, yeah, boy, that gets a lot of away behind, live up here, we'll go on. Yeah, let's deal with you now for the summer. Yeah, that's what I put in there. I'm pretty sure unless there's someone that comes back on, comes back on it. That's what I'm seeing. Because Liverpool could just buy him for very little money then, and leave my bar and get a fee from. That's mad. Didn't know that. Sorry, Chris, go on. Yeah. Yeah, the most thing, I actually take it a lot of hot air. I don't believe it. I mean, I don't believe the kudos link will happen either. But it's not my money, but if it was me, I'd get kudos, because he just reeks to me of sadial money. I love sadial money. I think he's almost players. He could play left. He could play right. He can do a job in midfield. He could play as a 10. I love to fight and try to fight half the spurs side, because they were playing rubbish. I think he'd quite, you'll put a chance again at a Western, because I don't think he's going to have any fun in Western, which they got a guy who's more pragmatic with David Moyes and one more edition. He's a absolute nightmare. But the thing is, I think a lot of people are pulled off in the summer by the supposed fee. And I think he's on the contract. Now, I'll have to double check, because he could be literally our contract next week, and because I presume these players on the contract, and then I'm not. But I think there was 80 million pounds being spoken about, and a few a lot of people were pulled off because it was like 80 million. Is he really, really water? But them names have popped up, and they just seem to be popping in names in positions where you go. You know, I wouldn't be surprised if Liverpool are linked with a Roy back in the next two weeks. You're not a sort of way. But we go on about midfield, and we go on about, we've spoken about belay, but we're not going to keep people all night on this. But Kev, Zuba Mendy. OK, we know what happens. I try a lot of the blame. Richard uses Dor, because I wouldn't have thought and continue the phone call more than a minute with Matt and Zuba Mendy if he'd any doubts about leaving Real Social, are you tired he was going to be, you know, persuaded to stay at that club? Because they've noise fucking poise and mountains, or whatever the fuck do you want to talk about? Could not say 2028. Yeah, I thought it was 2028 for him. But I told him, sorry, Kev, I told him, I told him the blame there, right? But Liverpool clearly may be aware of the definitely where I've looked. He wants to go. We're going to have to send him to Madrid with 61 million pounds in his pocket. And the boy, it was contracting, then he be years and then he gets torn around. But that name isn't going away, Kev. Now, can you see, if let me paint the scenario here for you, let me paint the picture for you, right? If man Zuba Mendy contacts Liverpool and says, I want to go, I'm 100% going to go, if you put the money up, I may do Liverpool. The Liverpool swallow a bit of pride here. I can say, right? OK, we're on the way with the money. Or do you think that ship has sailed? Because the name won't go away. Look, if you believe he's the player that they want, if they believe that he is a linchpin for the side potentially for the next three seasons, then you go and do the deal. I honestly think that he goes, I see him in the upper man city. I just think that they'll deal with the Roger situation at the end of the season, depending on how he comes back from injury. I think man city are desperate for a six. And you saw the differences to Mendy made when he came in for Roger in the Euro final. He is good enough to play it as a six in virtually any site in the world. So I'd be gobsmacked if man city aren't all over this by the first agenda. As soon as the window opens, I fully expect him to be on man city's radar. But yeah, I think he's a top class there. I'd take him and have me, no problem at all. But to be honest with you, there's, I mean, go back to what you were talking about, kudos for a second. I've gone near him now. I just wouldn't. Not after, and I'm the complete opposite to what Chris said it, after the Petulance in the West Ham game in the Spurs, that just showed me an attitude that he's just too temperamental. He's just not there. And to be honest, anyone who's watched him in a West Ham shirt this season, throughout the season, he's absolute trash. He's rubbish. And yeah, he's, he's not. Is that a little more. No, he's hitting. No, he's hitting because he's not doing anything. I'd have a punt on Peketa because he's got a bit of quality about him. But the majority of that West Ham is not hiding. He's got, he's got hiding, you know, and at the end of the day, we don't need people to go hiding when things get rough. Not if you're spending the kind of money in the West Ham mod. Yeah. There's a lot of people, as good. My argument against that is that if, if David Moyers was in charge of West Ham, right, and West Ham are coming out and playing, and Kudos went hiding. Because no matter how pragmatic David Moyers was at West Ham, he always tried to get his Kudos, his bone, his Peketa on the ball. Yeah. Get them on the ball and get them to play. All he walks West Ham a couple of times this season. And yeah, man, love with Peggy is a fucking walking disaster. And he does not want his creative players. Actually, he, sorry, he does want his creative players to be creative and attack, but nothing in the setup prior to his, his attacking players, having the chance to show what they can do. It's all so fucking born. It's so one-dimension. No, don't get me wrong. If Kudos was playing like this on the Moyers, I go flashing the pan, maybe, but I think there's quite a few players in that West Ham so it, that are probably looking around and going, what in the name of focus going on here, because they are deplorable to watch. But the thing is, he's not, he's not special enough to warrant the kind of money that West Ham will command. Not at 18, I agree. No, no, there's plenty of other players out there. But that's why I would question the Boyo clause or the release clause, does it still stand? Because I thought that actually ended at the end of the summer. I couldn't have to. But, I mean, go back to Zubmani for a sec. Zubmani would, would be ideal for us. He takes all the boxes and he plays and he complements what the squad are developing into. He adds to it. And he wouldn't, it wouldn't be, you wouldn't have to overwork to put him in there. And the flip side of it is, I watch Holland play Grab and Birch ahead of the young in the international break. And he just looked right at home. He didn't look out of place. Yes, he can do it. He's doing a job for us in the six, but he's versatile enough to be able to do that. And he can do a job in an eight as well. So it offers you the best of both worlds. You know, it could free up Grab and Birch. We know now that Grab and Birch could do a job for you in the six. But we also know that he could be elite in the eight. So I just can't see it. He's another one. I don't think there's too many downsides in a Zubmani. And I don't think it's swallowing pride either, because what Sociedad did Zubmani in the summer, we're doing our level best to do to train now. And, you know, it happens in football. It comes on players' heartstrings. You use every lever at your disposal. And you know what? It happens. But if an opportunity knocks at you twice, you'll be silly to turn it down. Yeah, I think like a few people there, super little says the only Colin Zubman is would he be able to adapt to the Premier League mid-season? Fair question. But for many of you who have seen the Zubmani, I don't think he lacks physically. I think he's very clever on what he does. He's a bit like, he's a bit when I watch him playing for Spain in particular. He's a bit like David Silva, but he plays deeper in the sense that he's not the most physical player in the world, but he just looks after the ball really fucking well. He's really good in toy areas, and he very rarely loses. Reminds me of the skates. Reminds me of David Silva, just to build on him and then just the way he controls, just the way he looks after the football. I think that's where it comes to me most on that. You know, Garamax's seat will have a big rodry-shaped hole in the midfield that they'll fill with too many. My only thing on this is that, I imagine, if Man City are out there with all these charges against him, and God knows what'll happen there and what the sanctions will be, if found guilty of, you know, 10, 20, 50, 80, or wherever it might be, a player's queuing up to sign for Man City right now. If they're good enough, could they not wait? Especially with the timing. But do they not wait, especially in January, you wait six months, and you absolutely know the outcome of what's going on there, and you probably, like Martin Zuber-Mendi, as in, as in instance, if Martin Zuber-Mendi wants to leave rails, I'll see that. And he wants to go, say he contacts him up only once, or a little poll trade. No. Or listen, we'll see what it's like in the summer. Is he, is he actively going to go and trade some of Man City in the January, when in the summer, Liverpool could look come back in, or you will absolutely know the outcome of the Man City's thing, because we will. But, but in June the 4th this year, we will absolutely know where all of that stuff in Man City stands, and there will be no toning back on it. So as do players risk, and look, is it a risk for a player? Maybe not. They get 200 grand a week off. See, everything goes pear-shaped in June, it's a fucking conflict event, whatever the fuck do you want to call it? I may already hear, rip up me, contact, or go and get me money somewhere else. No one loses. Well, they don't lose anyway. But. Did you know Nationwide is so much more than a great insurance company? They're one of America's largest financial services companies. I just can't see players loyling up to solve a man's city when you could literally wait from the 30th of January to the 4th of January to the 4th of June, which is four months, and say, I'll just wait four months, and if they are still in the Premier League and if they haven't got massive sanctions against them, I get that milk. Because back in Zubermendi's getting that milk, whether he wants it in January or whether he wants it in the summer. So, will you put yourself in a jeopardy in a weird situation for six months? Sorry, actually. No, no, no. I'm just thinking about it in that he seemed so almost overly thoughtful about his move in the summer, where almost to his detriment, that Zubermendi was just whether you want to call it loyal to your what. He was not eager to make that move, and you see City coming in, and I don't understand why he would roll the dice for six months with City, unless they were offering astronomical wages, and unless that was something that drove him as a player, and I don't think we've seen that. I don't understand why he would choose Man City over us, and that's not rose-tinted glasses on. That's, you know, why do you all know there's a pole? I say, he stayed in the game. Like you're talking about Guardiola with like a giant looming cloud over his head. He's still a pole. Oh, he's a massive pole, and I know he's a super Spanish player. Oh, you know that, and he's signed the new day, he's signed the one-year extension, what a possibility. Roger is coming back, you know, in May, like, is he gonna play? I mean, he's a knockout. Yeah, that's what it feels like to me as well, and the thing is like grandiola signing this deal, and I'm sure Man City fans go, look, he's signing the daily sticker with us. I don't read that quite like that. I read that as grandiola going. Listen, I am absolutely, you know, fireproofing myself here from Annie criticism, show this club go fucking upside down, and, you know, we have to go, you know, he can turn around and say, what commitment was always there? Look, I signed an extra year's deal, and it's all about, don't don't get it twisted here. Grandiola is all about, he loves the impression people have of, you know, he loves it the lonely and how he's perceived the people, you know, I mean, and we've seen that because he gets quite a toy when it comes to club and Liverpool over the last couple of years, and how much club and Liverpool were, you know, apparently the darlings of the media, when it seemed not true, but because grandiola wasn't getting all of the lonely all the time, you could see him getting touchy. I think, and it's, I think, grandiola's being very clever or more, he's on there. Why didn't he just sign a two-year deal? One year with a possibility of another. Why is there a possibility? What's, what's it? But what's, but what's it resting on? Mansey, I'm going to go to grandiola. No, not too sure, Pep, about extending there, giving you your extra year, will you give me a fucking break? Mansey had had to tie down with these about eight years to get the opportunity. You know what I mean? Jerry's in, Jerry, Jerry's fucking writer, shot up as soon as he's seen a transfer show, and here he is, he's back, he said, lads, I'm listening to you. It's a great show as usual. Here comes the ball, just to let you know, ball. We will be spending no more in the bare minimum. I've heard all the reasons they'll spend 1,000 times, yet, yes, they spend, but not at a title level. Come be right, Jerry. Come be right, no, no, no, no. I'm leaving it there. I'm not getting involved with Jerry. I'm not getting involved with him. He's only trying to fucking upset me. All right. I'm struggling here, Jerry. I'm not the best of farm. Right? Not, not to know where anybody else. I'm just not well. It's always ready. So Jerry, Jerry, come back to me in a couple of weeks, I'm going to say, but I don't think it's, I don't think it's the case of will they won't they spend. I don't want to fall into how we bought someone though, because that doesn't really walk. I've already pulled that card though. Like, I think that's the interesting part is that they've already played that card with Kiaza. Yeah. They are, they're, they've already done like that. Oh, well, we bought someone. Yeah, it didn't work. So you can't just buy someone for the sake of buying someone just to have a name crossed through the door. Yeah. Jerry is on to get Jerry is getting on to a solicitor as we speak, because he said, no, or you always listen, or just start commenting. I usually listen to the part and I said, that's absolutely fine, Jerry. I wasn't throwing any accusations at you. I'm genuinely not trying to upset anyone. I don't fucking believe you, Jerry. Okay. Let's get off on the proper foot and understand this window. I don't believe you. Okay. But you won't upset us. Don't worry about it. This is a safe, this is a safe space, Jerry. You can say what you wanted to remember shows, get your fucking books, call all of his names if you want, but I tell you, once I actually get to go in here, she will fucking lift you out. And it will just, you'll never come back on a show again. Bring out the monster money. Oh, the monster money comes out and it's like, fuck the larias, fuck this. She's got a little bit of, which is, which is. How's the cans going, Ashley? Oh, you know, are you on the cans? It's a work in progress. Are you, are you on any interest in canceling? No. Um, I've got, I've got like a sour ale, which I enjoy. Well, Sarah ale, all right. No problem. Um, but anyway, look, I don't even know where we were, we're just having a little bit of time here. Otherwise, I knew the last couple of minutes. That's just, that's just got down your soul. Yeah. Yeah. No, no, I just forgot where we were, because I haven't such a little bit of time. Um, listen, it's, it's interesting to get around your views on these players. And the people in the chat, um, all Jerry's background excuse. Sorry. He says, walks change a few months ago. So you usually can't watch live, I'm already optimism and hope you already know your fucking down, Jerry. I'll tell you what to hope. You hope we saw, we, you hope we saw him fucking nobody. And then you can come back to me on the force where we're going. I told you, didn't I, fucking told you, and then you can get out of the blade and therefore you can stick John Henry's head on it. Right. And you can just launch the apex of direction, bought an Argos, um, at them. And then you can just, that'll be you. Oh, you know, you're a toy, Jerry. Americans and craft beers says Paul give over. Is it craft beer? I mean, it's a local beer. I'm sure they qualify themselves as craft beer. What is a craft beer? It's a craft beer that's just not made by the mainstream people. Yeah, like a production beer. Yeah. It's like a local beer. Oh, that's craft. That's craft. I don't know. Yeah, I'll give a craft no problem. No, I can tell you try it. No, listen, if you want, listen, I will send you 40 pack of the monster much. If you send me six, if I would send you another 40 packets of monster munch, if you will send me six of your Sarah Ailes. And then that would be a fair deal. I mean, look, we're actually on that. Well, that's, that's the sake of the transfer. What Chris, we get actually on next, who loops or something like that? He'll, unless unless you're gone with barbecue hoops, yeah. So the barbecue loops are great. It's actually insane how many I have. I made a huge mistake with the ordering mistake, which it will probably become one of the best decisions of your life. I'm honestly going to have an entire pantry full of Irish chips and snacks and Christmas and everything. What you can do is introduce them to your friends and then video your friends. Yeah. And then do you know what, you know, ones are fantastic. And I don't know if you've got mentioned yet, but they're called meanies. I think those are coming. Yes. I don't know if you've got a weird Halloween version of Monster Munch. They're like, um, they're a pickled onion flavor, I think, but that's fantastic. Oh, I'll tell you, I'll tell you what's great about them. Not so much that they're good. I do have a bunch of bones coming. They are fantastic, but the meanies is right. The meanies is when you finish meanies right down the bottom corner, there's always a load of meanie dust, which is the best part of the bag. Okay, so you just put your finger in the corner and you take all the meanie dust. Yeah, the cold space. The cold space of it is over it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh my God. Yeah. Anyway, I think they should be here in time for the Southampton game. So, you know, we'll see. Yeah, yeah, listen, it's just, I'd love to not know what monster much of meanies and I'll taste like an order them online. I feel like I need to send you some of the exotic chips from over here. Because you're, I don't know, the fact that you guys label a lot of these hot and spicy, you guys have no idea what hot and spicy chips or crisps are. Like, there's crazy stuff over here that with the birds, you have to remember. I mean, you have to remember the people that are marketing these from a hot and spicy, like hot lips, right? And they call the hot and spicy on the front of the hot lips. Yes, but they're probably but they're probably being marketed towards really small children to eat them or men and women in their 70s, right? That one, I live a little. So, when they open, when they open the hot lips, they're like, oh God, they're Zendy. And you're like, no, not really. You know, they're just their flavored crisps or whether they're not crisp because that's different. But I just love to have that excitement of just crisps that I just don't know. Like I've seen ones the other day, like Rose Torky and stuffing flavor, and I was like, I give off those. Those are on my order list. Jesus, give them all. But no, no, no, yes, yes. Right. I need Ashley to do me up a list of the crisps and I'm going to order them. Actually, I want the top six crisps from America. Well, you're going to have to pay the $25 customs fee. Fuck me. Oil in that terrible mouth. So, just, just read it a minute before. Sorry. Reason actually mentioned that is my daughter wanted this half for our birthday. And she's like, can you get me the hat? And they're like, yeah, I'm getting a tonne joke. You're only getting an American. So I got on to actually, I said, well, you're ordered this from me. Get it over to your house. And then I'll give you my address and you post it to me. Put it down as gift, right? So, I think it, I think the hat was like, I don't know what that was. It ended up anyway. $25. Yeah. So it was like, but it caused me, I think I had to send actually 48 quid or 50 quid for this fucking hack, right? And I was like, but she posted it and she was like, that's killed. No problem. So I was 48 quid, right? 24 for the hack and the postage, which was 20 quid. So 44 quid. And then I get a note from the costals. I'll just let you know, this is going to cost you, I think it was like 18 quid three into the country. So this half the cost 22 euros ended up costing me fucking 70. And when she, when she opened up for a birthday, I was like, you better wear that every fucking day until you're about 20. All right. I don't want to see it out of you. So there you go. And, but actually, I want the top six, I will order the six. And then we'll just do a podcast with me and you sit there going, what you think of that? Yeah, good. Yeah. And then we just, we just put the hand on these there. Yeah, you got to do score. You got to have a score card up there as well. And yeah, and then I'll just go away with six sour ails from somewhere. And then we just sit there as a part of the same room and stuff like that. So at the end of the show, I actually be smoking everything the same as me. So that's where we go. But anyway, back to this, back to the thing, because I said we want to be out of here. And I'm six minutes fucking away from getting out of here. So January, it's early doors, just four weeks to go and before the window opens. But if you want to live up here just right now, let me change the next couple of weeks. I'm going to answer the same question a couple of weeks. If you want to live up here to do one thing in the January transfer, don't say contracts to me. If you want to live up here to do one thing in the January transfer window, what would it be, Chris? Betilda. You want to give me a name? Zuma Mandy. Nice. Ashley, what would you like to say? I am in complete agreement with Chris. Zuma Mandy, Kev. Full house. Zuma Mandy. Full house, yeah. Nice. Okay. So there you go, if Liverpool do not sign Zuma Mandy, Kev, Chris, and Ashley will be joining Jerry's Cult starting on the 24th of January. Nice to hear me, Jerry. Best look with the job. And if you can ever watch it over again, please do so. You're one of my favorites. That has been the talk and cover for tonight. Don't forget, football prizes, they do have a new prize up now. It runs out on the second, and I'm looking down to be found frantically and able to see where it is. It's ending next Monday, which I think is the second of December, which is actually to be fair. That's getting here that quick. But anyway, this is $2.95 a ticket. I think it's a program from the 2004 championship. Fully signed by the full 2004 champion league winning squad. You have, I think, those 19 or 20 instant prizes, including loads of stuff around the Istanbul final stuff from Hippie Alonzo, Benite has Jared stuff in there, just signed stuff, framed stuff, all sorts going on. The link is in the description. If you want to check that out. And the tickets are flying on that, by the way. I checked it out just before we come on, and it's absolutely flying. So there you go. Our charities are in there as well. You know all about them. You know all about them. If you want to donate, please do it. If you can't share amongst your family, your friends, and everything else. What I am going to do is I wanted it to get the four thousand, so we could give it to each of the charities. I'm going to, I'm going to wait to get to the four thousand. And when we get to the four thousand, we'll have to make a call on this because we're just, or do something to boost this. So that's where we're going to go with that. But anyway, we're going to go zero amending in January. Everyone aboard Jerry's fucking train. Actually Chris, Kev, Gav, that's been a lot. Talk to you in a bit over a minute.
