Because that's who we are. Realtors are members of the National Association of Realtors. In many hours of life the party appreciate you guys being with us. One more game. Shout out to Brymavane, Kim, Ariel, Micho. And a big shout out to SeatGeek, our sponsor. Muchissimagras por la boyo familia. What's super dope about SeatGeek is that they're hooking up with 20 dollars off your first purchase off of their SeatGeek app. Or website SeatGeek.com. Paracol quiervo leto quieras compra para un concierto. Baseball game, basketball game. Any type of event that's on SeatGeek. 20 dollars off with our promo code fun. F-U-N. Ayimero, take advantage of that. Seatuación right there. Oh yeah. So we still have the drinks here that we tried today from Starbucks. So they kicked off this new drink. In my opinion, they're trying to go after Latinos and low-key. Hi Jack, our Sabores, the whole chile limon, tajin type of vibe. So they created these lemonades. Defresa, de piña, the, what was the other one? The dragon fruit. Pitaya. Pitaya. Pitaya in Spanish. And they put chili powder. It's not tajin. I don't know where they got this chili powder from. And honestly, I don't know if it was the first day or not. Para mi el puzirón de maciallo powder. And it's almost like that moment when you put like a bunch of cinnamon in your hand and then toss it in your mouth. Have you guys ever done that? The cinnamon challenge, yeah. Not typically. We're normal. We don't do that. That's what I felt with the chili in my throat. And it was not giving. It was not it for me. [LAUGHS] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] I didn't like it, guys. I think me salenium. Yeah? Yeah. Maybe that's what it's for. Eddie, you tried the nastiest one. It's actually coffee milk. Yeah, Eddie. That's gross. [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] Yeah. Hey, Eddie went to the restroom like three times. Oh, Kim is the only one that loved it. Yeah, I was still drinking mine. It's because Kim's got the pitaya one, which is already kind of red vibes. And I feel like Chibois, since you and I got the piña and the fresa, they were like, oh, no, sevelle chili. I mean, sevelle, like they can see the chili or whatever. You know what I'm saying? Like in our drinks and Kim's, Kim's is already red, so. [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [LAUGHTER] Yeah, se passaron, the chili parabu-- [SPEAKING SPANISH] Also, like the chili para they used, it's very like-- [SPEAKING SPANISH] Yeah. [SPEAKING SPANISH] You know what, tahine? It's a little bit chunkier. Yeah, tahine is not their sponsor. It's also not like a chamois consistency either. Yeah. It's weird. If you guys try, I think on Thursday, I have buy one, get one free at Starbucks. The new spicy lemonade. If you guys try DM us on Instagram @shaboyshow, let us know what you think. But I wouldn't go back and get it, but you want to-- Yeah. Yeah. You know what I would, I would be like, can I get your spice lemonade without the chili powder? Then I think I would do it. Yeah, because I don't know what do they make their peanut refreshers with the peanut chunks, Kim. You go to Starbucks often. I don't go to Starbucks often, but-- You go there for the sausage and egg sandwich. Allegedly. Allegedly, let's not say. Let's not say. OK, you can tell me off air. [LAUGHTER] No, I don't know how they make them. Oh, you go. She doesn't work there. There you go. Eddie, you'd never get refreshers at Starbucks. Right, put a coffee? Nah, just coffee. Coffee. [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] Yeah, he just drinks a blood. Straight black. Just how you like this, man. No. [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] No, no, no, no, no, no. [SPEAKING SPANISH] [SPEAKING SPANISH] [LAUGHTER] Eddie. Oh, yeah, today we're also talking about what we learned from our oleetas and oleetos. And Eddie, I love what you said that you learned from your oleetas. Can you repeat it again, bro? That was awesome, man. For those of you looking for the one and you're out there dating, I think these are some really important keys you've got to look out for. The ones that oleetas, beya, shared with Eddie. As Beya told me, make sure they find a girl that has God in her life, God is in the center of her life, and that she comes from a good family, that she loves her parents, she treats her parents well, and that's exactly Kim. Aww. Yes. And what the crazy part is my grandma had, was it like, it was the disease, right? Yeah, she had a terminal illness. And Kim met my grandma at the very late stages of her life, which was crazy. It was through her phone, it was through her FaceTime, right? It was just beautiful that she got to meet her and stuff. But y'all were already dating? No, no, we were talking. What? So how do you know she approved? She approved, she's like, you know how like, she's like, oh, sassalanda Koneya, yeah, she's like-- And she'd say, oh, it's Kim, and then she'd say, let me go get ready before I go on FaceTime, or she'd say, oh, she's very pretty. I could hear her, like I think she thought I was on the phone. Yeah, but after she hung up, she'd be like, sassalanda Koneya, like, she seems really nice, quantity, don't mess this one up. [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH] [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH] [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH] Bringing a girl around and talking to a girl that would like to know if you would like to see immediately. Yeah. And especially Harry. No, but he hasn't had a lot of girls in his life. Right, and Ben never said to anybody else who just came like-- Oh, but you never really talked to women for that fact. Exactly, exactly. [LAUGHTER] Nicely, so-- You think to a collateralistic sample, yeah. No, no, no, no, Vanessa, Vanessa, you know, no. That's so nice. No, that's-- That's awesome of it, and I think that's so important, you know, that who you are planning to be with, they can come from a Jackdow family, because not everybody's family is good. Yeah. Actually, there is no family that's perfect. But I do believe that it's very important that at least they do their best to treat their mom and dad with respect. Yes. No matter how crazy and wild their mom and dad is, if you are dating a guy right now that calls their mom by their first name and doesn't call her mom, like, he's not the one. You know what I'm saying? Like, instead of being like, mom, what are you talking about? And he's like, Linda, what do you say? You know what I'm saying? Like, that's not it. It's like, you've got to have that respect. Kim, do you think Eddie has that? Respect. For his parents? Oh, yeah, he's a mama's boy. And I love it. I love when they go on their mom's Sunday. Coffee dates, yeah. Yeah, they go on coffee dates, so I love that. Eddie actually is not like-- I don't know. I feel like Eddie does definitely respect his dad. But like, if he calls, if his dad calls-- It's called fear. No, I have a lot more fear. Because Eddie was like-- Eddie's like, I know fear. Yeah. Oh, I get it. Like, my dad could say jump. I will be jumping in one second. Like, it's just different, but-- That's awesome. Primavane, do you believe in this theory? Like, guys that you've dated, I don't know if you've seen them interact with their parents or not in the past. Let me know, coming up next. [MUSIC PLAYING] There are any number of reasons you might consider selling your home. To move closer to family, live within a smaller budget, or just running a change of scenery. Whatever your reasons, having to figure out all the various housing market trends in your area may not be what you signed up for. That's where an agent who is a realtor comes in. Realtor is happy expertise to help you find the right price and navigate the process to sell your home in a way that's right for you. That's who we are. Realtors are members of the National Association of Realtors. Listening to your favorite podcast? That's smart. Earning your degree online from Southern New Hampshire University, that's really smart. [MUSIC PLAYING] [MUSIC PLAYING] Being the one that guys that you've dated in the past, did you ever see them in a rag with their dad or mom? Shrek's mom. Shrek, let me think about it. Shrek has a mark. Oh, yeah, does he? Oh, shoot. I know he's got his high enough, you know? I don't think so, guys. That's true. But it doesn't matter the family that he comes from, OK? Yeah, he's still a great man. Shrek is. Absolutely. 1,000%. Even though he's, however-- [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH] Yeah, no, I'm thinking-- I'm actually thinking of my real relationships. Well, no, there's only been a few that have been interacting that I got close enough to see them with their moms. And I mean, the very few that I've seen, yes, they respected their moms and all that. And that's, I feel like, non-negotiable for me in a relationship, just how they treat their mom and their parents, because that's definitely a reflection, I think, of how they're going to treat me. At least their mom, not necessarily the relationship with their dad, but the relationship between his mom, or maybe even not necessarily the mom, because I've met people that like, oh, my grandma raised me or whatever, but whoever they see as their motherly figure, how they treat them and respect them, I think, is a reflection of how they're going to treat you. [SPEAKING SPANISH] And mistreat them, imagine [SPEAKING SPANISH] Yeah. I actually talked to a guy that was-- treated his mom like literally [SPEAKING SPANISH] like literally, like, kiss the ground that she walked on. Yeah. But was horrible. So I think you have to pay attention to the way they treat women also, that are not necessarily their parents or anything like that, because it's-- This is a guy you dated him? Yeah. Like, literally, like, he was raised by a single mom. So he would just, like, honor her, like, loved her. Well, that's different. He didn't have an example of how to be a man, because that wasn't around. Meet your nose from experience. Yeah. Damn. Well, you guys always try to make me cry about my dad, leaving me when I was five. I know. You guys know how my dad left me? Yes, we know. We know. But if that helps you, meet your go ahead and tell us. So I was, like, five years old, right? And my dad said, [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH] I was, like, all right, let's go see. I was so happy. Yeah. And he said, why don't you count first? And I was, like, all right. So I go to, like, a poster, like, a street light thing. Yeah, on a street light. And I'm, like, one, two, three, four, [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH] [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH] Oh, wow. I went out to look for him. Never found him. Still looking for him. [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH] [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH] He is the best. [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH] The champion. Thank you, Mitro. So, Kim, you were saying this guy, this theory, didn't really align. Didn't align. Because he treated his mom really well. But every other woman, he didn't treat him well. Yes. It was literally terrible. That's tough. Was his dad involved? Did you ever see him or hear him talk to him? Yeah. It's crazy because his dad lived in the same town as him. Well, like, not in his life. Wow. So, Mitro, you don't know. Like, your dad could literally be in your same city and-- I would know. [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH] Damn, Kim. Thanks a lot. There. [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH] It's a possibility. [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH] Did you just call her a makim? [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH] [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH] [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH] [LAUGHTER] [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH] No, but no, I definitely see that relationship. I know Janet treats her parents really well. [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH] Till this day, she's the one that looks out for them. I mean, both her and her brother, but she's definitely more on the daily. You know, talking to them, helping them out with their business. So they started picking strawberries way back in the day. And even then, Janet would go with them to help them out in the summer. And then also, [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH] [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH] Like, you name it. And Janet, as a child, was sitting there helping mom out and like always looking out for them and translating, you know, for her parents. And I don't know, that to me just says a lot, because I was the same way with my parents, you know? So that's so important, man. But regardless, take this as a sign to reach out to your abuelitos, abuelitos, to your parents. If you haven't reached out to them in a while, you know, for those of you that have a good relationship with them, send them some love, let them know how much you appreciate them. I think we don't do that enough, especially with our abuelitos. Yeah, abuelitos. I feel like sometimes, you know, your life can get so busy that you forget. Because you're out there hustling, grinding, sometimes working two jobs. You got your own drama, dilemma. And sometimes your abuelitos or abuelitos don't live in the same town as you. But definitely, let's definitely make that effort. I know, Kim, you got a really good relationship with your abuelita and El Salvador. Yes, and I wanted to add this. Chellita, no? Yes, and I wanted to add this on the show. But I was like, I'll just save it for the after-party. Because I know that a lot of us don't have perfect families. Like we explained, like sometimes there's drama and just things that get in the way. And with my family in Mexico, I don't have the best relationship. But I loved my grandma. And I wish that I hadn't let that relationship with other people kind of get in the way of my relationship with her. Because our relationship was really strong, despite the drama. So I think if you have drama in your family, with certain people that you don't like-- Kim, don't hold back. What's that prima's name? We'll pull up. We can. We'll pull up all the way to Toluca. Let's go. Angel, I need to get my password first. But then I'll pull up. Primo, I'm like, what you got on my password? And I'm pretty good. Good, nice, just kidding. Don't let the drama get in the way of maintaining a relationship with your grandparents. Because there are no sinthes. They don't have anything to do with that. They really don't. So just put that to rest just for your family. And a lot of the times, like that I will eat that, they know that cousin or that theo or thea that's causing all the drama. They know that that's the issue. You know what I'm saying? They're not going to sit there and think the same about you. Yeah, exactly. Right. El Contrario, they're going to appreciate the fact that besides all the drama, you're making an effort to connect and hang out with them. Because they know their own children. They know the rest of the grandchildren. Equalesonos mamuca's equal is no, you know? Yeah, so definitely, like, don't let drama get in the way. Wish I didn't do that. But now with my grandma after my-- that grandma passed away, I call her once a week. And we talk all the time. It's all the one that passed away. No, no, no, no, no, little Salvador. But after that, after my other grandma passed away, I realized like I wish I had called my grandma more often. So since then, I call my grandma from El Salvador once a week. And we just talk it up about what she's eating. Like, literally anything. Like, you know, grandmas sometimes, they need a friend. You know, they need people to say, hey, I'm here. I care about you. I'm hearing you. And you get to hear stories that you never heard before. That's the most beautiful part right there is, like, besides obviously asking, I'm like, eh, como estas a willito. Como estas a willito. Her thing's going, like, that's basic, right? But I want to encourage you to ask them about their who went through their childhood. You know, different things are easy. Como estas a no vietra back in the day. Como estas quela. Like, what did you do? But like, que musica scu chalas, when you were little, I'm telling you, their eyes will light up. And they will get so excited to tell those stories. Because all the times that willito's, yeah, willita's, they seem to feel like como que llano, quote un quote, "serven." Right. Like, they're of no worth to anybody anymore because they're like, I was like, no, do you have to move your conan tien des? Yeah. So when you do that, it gives them that worth again. And like, they matter. Yes, pretty much. My sister purchased a book on Amazon. And it's kind of like a reflection book, but for grandparents. So she bought it, and my grandpa loves to write. So he gave it to him. And it's basically like, tell us how you fell in love. Or tell us about this, about that. Different prompts, writing prompts. And my sister gave it to my grandpa. And he filled it up. That is amazing. That's over 100 pages. And it's [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH] And my grandpa has a very unique-- Is it cursive? Yeah, it's like a very unique cursive. He wrote my grandma's name, and I got a tattoo. So it's like really fine, like, lining, like, line work. But anyways, he filled it out. And my sister, like, she said she can't even read it. Because it's-- I mean, just stories from him coming from straight from him. I mean, it'd be more, I think, more emotional at hearing it from his voice. No, but that's dope too, because if there's a way that you can-- because essentially, it's a biography that they end up writing. And I love that. It gives them the prompts to write a biography about their life, their journey, et cetera. And you get to know where your family comes from, and the stories, and so on and so forth. So that would be cool to have that album pass one out to each grandchild, each son, each daughter. I know that when my parents-- they both pass away and pass the scans from terminal illnesses. My dad from cancer, and then my mom from a sickness called myelodysplastic syndrome, which it's very similar to anemia or being anemic. Her blood didn't work the right way. But long story short, I don't even remember this, Eddie. I sat him down during the pandemic, and we recorded a video and audio, essentially, podcast. And I just asked them to tell me their whole life journey, like where they were from, who their parents are. First, last name, how they met, and we have that. I haven't been able to watch it again. It's tough. I don't know if I'm ready, but that's really cool to preserve that history, and to know that we have it, and show it, I know I want to show it to my daughters one day, and Eddie, that would be cool for you to show your kids one day. And what grandma or grandpa were you closest to? I'm on my mom's side. A willita. That's when you got her name tattooed on her. Infa, yeah. Maria Infa? Infante. Infante? Yeah, Maria. Is that her middle name or last name? Middle name, but that's what she would go as. So, infa for short. Infante. So, Maria Carmen, Maria Infante, Maria Carmen, Maria Leticia. Sanso Cermanas. And then she had a Jorge Villapando. He had the-- he had no middle name. Just Jorge Villapando, just straight up. Yeah, and then Carmen, and then Leti, and then they called her Infa. And what was so special about her? Like, what did you enjoy the most, rest in peace? Just how down she was. Like, she didn't care what people thought, what people said. She just lived her life how she was, and La Valia, like, facts. And then just all of the, like, the wisdom that we learned from her, aside from her being how she was, like, just the wisdom and trade. Like, literally, she taught, like, probably three of her six daughters how to sew. That's awesome. And my mom-- That legit goes through that. Yeah, like, my mom had a business, Brides About Flower, for many years. That's dumb. And, yeah, she taught me how to sew. Like, she-- I would sit there and, like, be putting the needle through the thread, literally frustrated, but I would be, like, sitting there doing it. And then, like, that-- Licking the thread, huh? Licking the thread, huh? Yeah, and I actually-- I actually got to see a little bit of me while I started in radio, because I started at a Catholic radio station. And my mom worked there, and my grandma would listen to it. And I remember the first time, like, I went on air. And they were like, you're getting to pray for 30 minutes. And I was like, what? They're like, yeah, yeah, you're just going to pray. And petitions are going to come in from Facebook. And you're just going to pray. Just pray. On the radio. Yeah. And I prayed for 30 minutes. And my grandma listened. She was like, I love it. You have such a great voice. She was like, but you know what? You need to really, like, just more-- I think you need to give more credit to the Virgin Mary. And you need to pray for-- she was a huge devote to the Virgin Mary. Love you to can see that. Yeah, so she was just like, you know, you have to honor her and pray for her. And she's like, you did so well. And I didn't, and it's bound to shoot. So it was a trip, because, yeah. Oh, wow. [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH] [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH] [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH] No. [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH] [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH] No. [LAUGHTER] No, actually, it's so crazy, because I feel like-- there's this, like, saying, or I don't know if it's the saying or a joke, but it's like, oh, if you want your prayers to be answered, then pray in Spanish or something like that. Let's go. I don't know. Because prayers are more deep in Spanish. It's Spanish, right? I don't know. I guess I was like a joke at the Catholic radio station. Yeah. Spanish radio. I don't know how to get it. [LAUGHTER] [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH] Yeah. But-- That's what's up. Yeah. Thank you for sharing, but you want on it? And, you know, speaking of prayer, let's just send in prayer right now. Yeah. Dealingi Fa, thank you so much for every single person that's listening to this right now, Lord. You know their need and their life. You know what they're carrying, and if there's somebody that's just dealing with a lot right now, may they just feel your peace, your Holy Spirit peace, or that you can give them for them to let go of that stress, to let go of that anxiety, to let go of the problems and give them to you, and just to trust you in faith, that you've showed up in the past in their life, and you can show up again right now to help them in this moment where they feel like they're breaking down, just let them know to not lose faith that their breakthrough is coming, and it's just around the corner. [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH] Amen. Hey, man. [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH] [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH] [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH] Is this house a good price compared to others in the area? Are prices going up or down? If I don't make an offer right this very moment, will I miss my chance? These are just some of the questions a home buyer might ask. And these are the sorts of questions an agent who is a realtorque can help answer, because realtors have the expertise data and access to specialty training to help you navigate the process of buying a home. They provide support, guidance, and have your back every step of the way. That's what realtors do, because that's who we are. Realtors are members of the National Association of Realtors.
