Morning Prayer with Pastor Sean Pinder
Anointed to Reign
Good morning to you things of the Messiah. I want to read something to you from 2 Samuel 5 verse 3. Listen to the Word of God. So all the elders of Israel came to the King to Hebrew, and King David made a league with them in Hebrew before the Lord, and they anointed David King over Israel. This is what I want to talk about with you on this morning. Anointed to reign. Anointed to reign. I believe you're going to be blessed from the Word this morning. Tell him it may look like it comes around. Come on, worship it. Come on. It may look like I'm surrounded, but I'm surrounded by you. Tell him it may look like I'm surrounded, but I'm surrounded by you. Because this is how I fight my battles. This is how I fight my battles. This is how I fight my battles. This is how I fight my battles. This is how I fight my battles. This is how I fight my battles. This is how I fight my battles. This is how I fight my battles. Come on, lift your hands. They have it this morning. God's got your back sinks. Because this is how I fight my battles. This is how I fight my battles. This is how I fight my battles. This is how I tell him it may look like I'm surrounded. It may look like I'm surrounded, but I'm surrounded by you. It may look like I'm surrounded, but I'm surrounded by you. Because this is how I fight my battles. This is how I fight my battles. Glory to God. Listen, I just sense it in my spirit that somebody got a breakthrough. Someone, I felt something just broke through. Father in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. May in past Amy we lift your wonderful people up before you on this morning. We thank you for a breakthrough God. Give him a breakthrough. Step in God. God, nobody can do it like you can for your people. You love us so much. You care about your people so much. Bring them out. David said even though I walk through the valley in the shadow of death, I will fare no evil because God is with me. Father, God, you are with your people on this morning. May in past Amy we lift him up before you. You are with your people on this morning. You got their backs. You're going to bring them out more than a conqueror, Lord. Bring them out of it. Bring them out of it, God. Oh, we put our trust in you this morning. Bring them out, God, more than a conqueror. Your words has trusted the Lord with all your heart. Late not to your own understanding. And all that we acknowledge Him and He will direct your steps. Direct their steps this morning. Lord, the tables are turning. The tables are turning. Glory to God. We thank you for turning that situation completely around. Victory today is ours. In the name of Jesus somebody say amen. Glory to God so good to be back with you on this morning as we continue series overcoming adversity. And on this morning we are talking about anointed to reign. After this we will have one more broadcast on this series. And then we will switch and we will switch probably into the Psalms. But on this morning we are talking about anointed to reign. Glory to God. Remember Saul, he tried. All he could to kill David and couldn't. And we talked about it yesterday. It's over for your enemies because God allows Saul. The same way he chased David. He was chased by the Philistates. Whatever your enemies brought on you. God knows how to allow it to come right back on them. Amen. Listen to this in 2 Samuel chapter 2 verses 1 through 7. After this David asked the Lord should I move back to one of the towns of Judah. Yes, the Lord replied. Then David asked which town should I go to? To Hebrew the Lord answered. Isn't this amazing? That God is a specific God. You ask him and listen, he knows how to answer you. We were in a meeting just a few weeks ago at just just last week. And the Holy Ghost used a man of God to confirm the main past Amy the next step for our lives. He had no idea. I just love having friends like that who can hear the voice of God. He had no idea. None. And the Holy Ghost spoke to this man of God. Nothing like God, Holy Ghost, confirmation. David's two wives were hidden to him from Jezreel and Abigail, the widoff neighbor from Kamel. So David and his wives and his men and all their families all moved to Judah. And they settled in the villages near Hebrew and listen saints. There's a moment where there's transition. So now David is, he's reached a place in his life where God is beginning to settle David down. Lord of mercy. That season of running and running and running from King Saul was now over. God had closed that chapter in David's life. And now David is about to ascend to the throne beginning in Judah. First, Lord help us. Are you listening to this? Who am I talking to this morning? That would say Pastor Sean, I feel like God is about to settle me down my whole life from all the storms of life from all the adversaries and attacks of the enemy. God is about to transition you and bring you into a place in your life where he is about to settle you down in the name of Jesus. And that's what happened with David. Watch this in verse four, y'all. Watch this. Then the men of Judah came to David and anointed him King over the people of Judah. They anointed him. They anointed him to be King over Judah first. There comes a time in your life where God will allow you to dominate. Amen? No more running from your King Saul's. No more having to deal with King Saul because King Saul is dead and gone. That means the chase is over. Glory be to God. As I said, the chase is over. So now David have been anointed to be King over Judah. And then also in chapter five we see where they came even all the tribes of Israel are after David had reigned in Judah for seven years in fact. Let me turn that and read this because I'm talking about this this morning. Anointed to reign. Anointed to reign. Thank God. Lord have mercy. God takes us in steps. He allowed David to reign as King over one tribe first because God takes us in steps. This is why you got to be faithful in that which is least first and then God brings the increase. Listen to this is the second Samuel chapter five verses one, two and three. Then came all the tribes to David unto Hebron and speak saying, "Behold we are thy bone and thy flesh." Also in time pass when Saul was king of us, thou was he that led us out and brought us in Israel. And the Lord said to thee, "Thou shall feed my people Israel, and thou shall be a captain over Israel." So all the elders of Israel came to the king to Hebron and King David made a leak with them in Hebron before the Lord and they anointed David king over Israel. David was thirty years old when he began to reign and he reigned for forty years. Lord have mercy. In Hebron he reigned over June of seven years and six months and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years over all Israel and Judah. Listen, the anointing in your life produces longevity, how you listen to me. When David was anointed the first time he reigned for seven years. When he was anointed this last time he reigned for another thirty-three years, forty years united to reign, God is going to anoint you to reign, He is going to anoint you to dominate, He is going to anoint you to lead, He is going to anoint you to walk in authority, to walk in power. Isn't that awesome that he was anointed to be king over Judah first? And after seven years all of the tribes came and said, "You are the man David, God is with you." You don't have to push your way to the forefront when God has his hands on your life. He will cause people to see it and he will draw them to you. And they came and said, "David, it was you all alone. God was using to be our deliverer." They came and willfully submitted to his authority. They willfully submitted to his leadership. All I did to reign, they're about to recognize you. And when they do, be humble, be kind, be loving, be caring. Don't take for granted when God gives you a moment. Oh come on, somebody lift your hands, David. It may look like I'm surrounded, it may look like I'm surrounded, then I'm surrounded by you. And this is how I fight my battles, this is how I fight my battles, this is how I fight my battles, this is how, listen, isn't that absolutely awesome? This is why kings all fail and his endeavors to kill David because God's hands was on David's life. You're guarding all that nobody cuts you down before your time. God is on your side, God is on your side. Welcome to ruling, welcome to reigning, welcome to walking in power and authority. We cover you in the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. We cover you in the blood of the Lord Jesus. That God, we thank you for the anointing of God. Thank you for your hands upon the lives of your people. God as they move into this new position, lead them, guide them, order their steps, give them wisdom on, give them knowledge, God, give them understanding, establish them.
